About the Character
Character Personality:
Being an upbeat and generally friendly human being, Kalaraine is someone who's really easy to get to know in a casual occurrence. She likes to nitpick things and address the simple mistakes of others but she comes off as caring and considerate so you can never really stay mad at her for it. Despite this, she isn't the most outgoing since people generally tend to get in her way but if you're worth any amount of time at all she's a good friend to have.
Once things get serious or on the battle field, she is a cold-blooded killer. Enemies will fall swiftly and truly from her kunai knives and her demeanor won't falter once you are dead. She doesn't abide by any creed besides her own, working for herself in a sense of survival and purpose.
She has chosen to make her life symbolize what humanity has lost; a person who is completely true to themselves. She has her own set of rules and guidelines that she follows and rarely takes orders from others unless it is in her best interest. She doesn't belong to any organization or take jobs such that she is working for another person unless she has made it a job for herself to fulfill that person. She doesn't believe there is good or evil, just a preference people make on what makes them true to themselves.
In all cases considered, she still has a personality at all so it's a good thing she chooses to loosen up every once in a while, staving off lacks of human interaction in her long periods of isolation and generally accepts people as a potential acquaintance. She does this solely for the sake of knowing that the larger the network of people on your side, the easier it is to accomplish tasks despite any previous circumstances.
Character Appearance:
The best description of Kalaraine is a robe upon a sash upon a garment upon anything that creates lots of folds in clothes. At least, mostly judged by her personal attire. Upon her moderately musculature frame is several darker-colored and multicolored strips of garments in browns, blacks, dark greens, dark yellows, and more that doesn't amount of anything specific. It seems bulky but not quite, as it is a series of robes and sashes that create many places for her to slide her hands into.
The garbs are worn pretty tight to her body as so she doesn't appear thick or create extraneous weight which might be difficult to move around in. She doesn't quite look like a mummy, but she definitely looks like she had one heck of a time layering her clothing like that! One thing that sticks out the most, is her wide purple belt-sash that goes around her stomach with gold oriental designs on the front and tied neatly in a bow in the back.
Retracting from her unusual style of dress, Kalaraine has simple long dark-blonde hair, emerald eyes and a basic peachy complexion with a few odd marks here and there on her face and arms. She's a lot of woman to handle at five feet and six inches tall and one hundred and thirty seven pounds, plus a decently endowed chest for a few extra convenient places to reach but nothing eye-popping. A bit of her forearm is bare as her sleeves end just past the elbow only to show a little skin before armored fingerless gauntlets wrap around her hands with bandages underneath to prevent strain from using throwing knives.
Her legs are individually wrapped by her odd garments to create a pant leg effect rather than a dress effect with her robe to allow smoother movement and additional places to reach for knives. Covered on her feet are simple shoes that barely reach her ankle, just enough to protect her feet from the rough ground.
Character Hobbies/Activities: Determining the best way to position clothes for optimal knife-pulling effects.
Battle Statistics
Character Position: Lawful Neutral
Character Abilities:
/*-+-*/ Passive /*-+-*/
--=Infinite Kunai: No matter what, as long as Kalaraine is able to move one of her arms, she can pull a kunai knife out of any fold in her clothing, from anywhere on her body. It seems to be a mystical and unfathomable feat, yet if stripped naked you'll find no indication of where the heck she pulls all of the dangerous pointy objects from.
--=Dexterity: Being a disciplined and honed ninja, Kalaraine is able to move about exceptionally well. She can run fast, flip around like crazy, and seems to always move as if surges of electricity are coursing through her nerves like an unstoppable generator. She makes very good use of her environmental conditions in terms of positioning and split-second movements.
--=A Ninja's Trained Sparring Eye: Having fought countless opponents and trained under a superior master, Kalaraine is able to read offensive and defensive body language in a way that gives her a second instinct on being able to judge how opponents are able to strike. Usually, the more simple-minded and less experienced the opponent, the easier to read and shut down.
--=Wiretap: The Kunais that Kalaraine seems to produce are inherently created to be able to bond with cable threading in a moment's notice. Simply by taking some cable thread and merely touching the end of the kunai, she now has a kunai on a wire.
/*-+-*/ Active /*-+-*/
--=Whirlwind Strike: After delivering a spinning kick, Kalaraine can flip and fan her arms to the side before she touches the ground, and Kunai knives will be sent flying in six different directions simultaneously of her choosing without having to actually reach for the knives or physically use her arms to throw them. [Allowed two uses in the same post, three-post cooldown if used once, five-post cooldown if used twice]
--=Deflection: Through the odd magical properties of her knives, Kalaraine can throw one knife at another in the air she has already thrown and upon collision instantly change the flight path direction of the first knife and reset its velocity. The second knife used to deflect the first will always bounce straight up into the air.
--=Readiment: In a pinch, a two kunai knives will slide out of each of her sleeves directly into her hands without having to reach into a fold of her clothes. [four post cooldown]
--=Boomerang: If Kalaraine grinds two Kunai together and throws one, she may throw the other and the first kunai will swiftly change direction to directly mimic the flight path of the second kunai. If Kalaraine can retrieve the second kunai, she can change the first's flight path again for any number of times until the first one comes to a complete stop. [After the first dagger is rendered inactive, ability enters two post cooldown]
--=Shunpo: Kalaraine is able to instantly disappear and reappear in another target location in a small puff of black smoke. She can travel a maximum of twelve meters and can face any direction at the other end. [Up to twice per post, two post cooldown if used once; three post cooldown if twice.]
--=Radiate: By imbuing only a single kunai within sight she can project it to make it seem like there's a large energy source there. Anything sensitive to detecting energy would be tricked to believe that there is someone or something powerful there. Diversion and escape tactic. [Cooldown of three posts.]
--=Dagger Burst: By colliding any weak or moderate ranged attack with a Kunai, depending on the attack's strength, the kunai knife is able to absorb the impact almost entirely and then the kunai shatters. If the impact was not completely absorbed, then its damage it greatly reduced as the Kunai shatters. [Two post cooldown]
--=Dagger of the Dead: If Kalaraine lodges a kunai knife into the ground in front of her and kicks it such that it is no longer lodged within the ground, up to three kunai already on the ground within a sixteen meter radius will fly to a target location at a relatively low velocity. [Three post cooldown.]
--=Dagger of Ultimate Redemption: If Kalaraine has an open wound, she can smear a drop of blood onto a Kunai and toss it. If the kunai strikes, the wound will rapidly regenerate (but not heal instantly). A small cut will take a few seconds [in the same post], a large gash might take over a minute [One or two posts later]. [Four post cooldown]
Moogle Shop Purchased Abilities (If you have purchased abilities from the moogle shop, please list them here):
Character Weapons:
#Wind Blade, Forsaken by the Kunai#
The reason Kalaraine wears that large purple sash is so she can pull out two pairs of large kunai knives, four times bigger than a standard knife! Reaching behind and in front of her she pulls out both a smooth-edge giant kunai and serrated-edge kunai with large circles at the base, then slaps all four rings together to create a four-pointed Kunai star with alternated smooth and serrated blades. She can throw it with excellent precision, spinning at a destructive RPM that can rip through most simple or thin armored materials and certainly cleave through flesh like paper.
This Wind Blade, whenever thrown will always return to its owner. If its movement was to completely stop, Kalaraine can reach out an arm and the blade will be pulled back to her, assuming there's nothing stopping the Wind Blade from moving. The Wind Blade can be collapsed and put away in the opposite fashion of which it was called, and will simply vanish until the next time it is called upon, however cannot be separated by other means. If it is physically broken apart by something else, it will shatter and turn to dust [and Kalaraine won't be able to call upon it for the rest of the thread]. [The four kunai cannot be used individually.]
Moogle Shop Purchased Weapons (If you have purchased weapons from the moogle shop, please list them here):
Character Accessories:
-Spool of 100 meters of cable wire: Kalaraine always has a spool of cable wire strapped to her side so she can use it with her Kunai knives or whenever she would need to use an item with string-like consistency. This cable is strongly reinforced and is very durable, almost impossible to rip with strain alone however with a clean cut it will rupture pretty easily, however this is on purpose as Kalaraine cuts it with her own knives. The spool itself is not very obvious as it's tucked within her garments though easily accessed through a well-placed fold. [Length is refreshed at the start of every thread.]

@ Servant of the Kunai @
This magical being is what gives Kalaraine her ability to pull magically imbued Kunai knives out of nowhere all the time. Has no physical presence, but occasionally will talk to Kalaraine when it has nothing better to do. In times of desperation when Kalaraine is on the ropes, it is able to make an apparition of a very muscular and worn-torn man appear and to be throwing a deadly large kunai to scare off opponents, but it is all fake and has no actual physical effects. Sometimes it can appear just to talk as if it were a physical entity, but is never really physically present.

Character History:
Born into a first class family, though not of anything royally important or anything, Kalaraine has always been a privileged child. Her parents were both young however and from snooty families who often resented their rash decisions of marrying so soon and then bearing a child a few years soon of the expected age. The couple did a lot of things to break the mold and had plenty of money from their own successes and inheritances to do so with.
The grandparents and other influential members of the family tried to raise the girl to be of a more proper routine-bearing high-class robot much like the rest of the first class community, though much interference came from the young parent's point of view. Kalaraine was often an excitable child, but nothing the young couple couldn't handle. Being energetic as she would, Kalaraine wanted to see more than just the inner city when she was young - it was really pretty, but it was always the same! Despite the objections from the outside family, Kalaraine's parents took her to the outskirts to a restaurant in a place farther away.
It was of course on this day there happened to be some trouble with a few thugs getting into a fight over a financial dispute concerning inner-gang drama, causing a huge commotion. Kalaraine had never seen violence or aggression and was extraordinarily scared. Her parents were guarded but knew that as long as they kept quiet and to themselves they would be fine. It wouldn't take long before a soldier from outside who happened to be standing guard came in and broke up the fight single-handedly. This made Kalaraine giddy, as the soldier happened to be a fine woman with long brown hair and a beautiful figure despite the armor. Kalaraine ran up to her with such eager eyes and a mind full of questions.
While the soldier had never had kids of her own, she was pretty good at keeping Kalaraine occupied, and from that day on Kalaraine knew what she wanted - to be a big, strong soldier like this girl and not afraid of anything! She went on and on to her parents, and eventually they signed her up for classes at a dojo to practice martial arts, a very basic stepping stone to this unfathomed career for a lady. It was at this dojo where Kalaraine would come in contact with the Servant of the Kunai and gain her abilities.
One day after a long class and everyone had gone home, Kalaraine had stayed to help clean up and was told by the masters she could as long as she remembered to lock the doors. One thing that always drew her attention was the glass case up at the front on display, protecting an elegant-looking kunai knife with all sorts of tassels and ornamental decorations. It seemed like it called to her in a mysterious way. Drawn by its allure, she crept up and reached out her hand to gently caress the case, until she caught her foot on the edge of the platform and tripped, knocking over the entire display. The glass case was smashed to pieces and the kunai knife lay across the ground behind the girl.
Except... The knife started to radiate with an intense series of light pulses. Kalaraine covered her eyes with her arm but it was too late, there was a very bright flash and an electro-ball of light surged from the knife into the girl. At first it seemed painful and she screamed, but then the feeling subsided and she felt a magical tingling. The kunai knife was still there but all the decorative symbols on it had disappeared. What she heard next was the voice of a scruffy middle-aged man with a deep and pounding echo.
'Young girl, I don't know what you did but my soul now inhabits you, and with that I grant you my power. Accept it... the force of the all-etching kunai!' the spirit yelled in her head. She grasped her skull and after a glow emanating from her skin she felt normal. The voice however had ringed in her head again. 'Just reach somewhere and will me to grant you a knife and it will come!' It said. Somehow, she understood these instructions perfect and reached into the side of her robe and with all of her will and might desired for a knife to be there. In an instant, she felt like she was gripping something warm yet metallic. Retracting her hand, an ordinary-looking kunai knife of an average size was there.
Kalaraine ran immediately to her masters and explained the situation. She expected them to be angry, but rather they were astounded that the spirit had accepted her as his new host. They began preparations immediately for a special series of training session to hone her connection with the Servant of the Kunai and control her new-found power. It was several years of hard work, but Kalaraine felt it was worth it.
And it was until the invasion. The nation she resided in, Glammal, was in a constant struggle with Kes'rath over land disputes. The people of Kes'rath have always been greedy, struggling for access for resource deposits already claimed by Galmmal. While it has been quiet border-watching period, Kes'rath finally had built up a massive attack and unleashed it upon the capital of Glammal where the first-class citizens resided. The military was not prepared for this scale of an invasion and it was quickly overtaken. Kalaraine's parents ushered her to leave and seek sanctity. She could not fight off this invasion by herself. She only agreed due to the nearby soldiers assuring her this part of town could be evacuated safely and she would be able to reunite with her parents.
After tough and narrow escape through the back-end of the capital, there was a large explosion in the distance, roughly around the area she now used to live. Stopping and staring, eyes completely full of tears, she couldn't believe that the Kes'rath have become so powerful. There were several more explosions and Kalaraine couldn't bear to watch, escaping off to a nearby town of drifters from the capital.
It was there she met a traveler who had come from another world, traveling with a strange invention called a Gummi Ship. Except, the traveler felt it was time to settle down and he quite liked the feeling of being in a town of other drifters and offered to sell her the Gummi Ship. He wasn't a greedy man, requesting only enough to settle down. Acknowledging both of their situations of need, they came to a mutual agreement. Kalaraine wasn't sure what she wanted anymore, almost sure that her parents were dead and there was nothing she could do to save them, she decided to become a drifter herself, dedicating her life to saving anyone she could, to make up for the two closest to her she couldn't save.
The ship had come with a few sets of coordinates already routed in from past travels, with the closest one being on the list labeled as 'Radiant Garden' Well, it was as good of a place to start as any. Thus, Kalaraine began her journey into unknown lands with no concept of the story behind Kingdom Hearts and the eternal struggle of light and darkness.
