'How do I get myself into these things?' Ryujin thought, as he fell into the sea. How he kept ending up in different places, he wasn't exactly sure. He quickly resurfaced, gasping for breath. He found himself at a beach, with the sun just rising. 'Beautiful...' he thought, as he gazed upon the rising sun.
Then, snapping back into reality, he swam ashore. He shook some of the water off, and to his dismay, his hair landed in his face. He tried to fix it, but to his annoyance, it just wouldn't stay. He sighed, and just as he looked up at the sky, a coconut fell from a tree, hitting him square in the face, knocking him to the ground. "This... just isn't my day..." he said, rubbing his nose.

Ryujin was dazed for a moment, as the impact had knocked him a tad senseless. "I'm fine... I just hurt my face..." he said, unable to even open his eyes more than half way from the pain. "This... Is just one of those days... OH! MY BOW!" he yelled, thinking about his wooden bow. "WHERE IS IT!" he shouted, jumping up with a start, only to realize it was still strung across his back. "Whew... Sorry about that..." he said, scratching the side of his head with embarrassment.
"I'm Ryujin," he said, introducing himself. "And you are?" 'Very beautiful...' he thought, before she could answer, looking her over. Yet, there was something out of place... Her presence... It felt different. "Oh... and... um... Where are we?" he asked. 'Wow, I fell stupid...' he thought.

"I'm Ryujin... and somewhat... out of it, incase you haven't noticed," he said, letting out a nervous laugh. Then, he thought for a moment. 'Oh no... Don't tell me I left...' he thought, smacking his forehead. "I forgot everything back at that one place..." he mumbled in frustration. "I'm just not having a good day..."
At that, he just dropped and sat back in the sand. "Great... Just great... All of my supplies, food, and munny... GONE..." he thought aloud, still frustrated. Then, he remembered Mika was there. "Oh, sorry..." he apoligized, letting out a sigh, and scratching his head, embarrased again. "It seems I left everything I have except for my weapons back... wherever it was I came from..." 'Why me...?'

Ryujin cocked his head to the side in confusion. Another world? What was she talking about? Wasn't he just in another place on his own? Maybe this was more complicated than he'd originally thought. Then, out of pure frustration, he began to beat his head against the coconut tree. "This... makes no sense..." he said, finally stopping, and just leaning his head against the tree.
"I just want to go back home to Twilight Town..." he said, backing away from the tree. "You mean to tell me that I'm not on the same world? But... How do... GAH!" He then just put his hands to his head and sighed, sitting down. "I'm sorry you have to see me like this... I'm just... Not used to things like this happening to me... I mean, the wierd little black things with antennae, and the silver things... What's going on?" he only half-asked, more just thinking aloud.

Ryujin cocked his head to one side, more confused than before now. "I'm... not getting this... So... You're saying... There's more than just Twilight Town out there? And those things... They're... Heartless and Nobodies? Wow... Just wow..." he said, letting out a huge sigh. "I've got alot of adjusting to do..."

Ryujin just sat down and put his arms across his knees, resting his head on them. She was right. Worse could have easily transpired... He could've lost his home and friends, if what she said was true. "You seem to know alot about this stuff... So... How'd you get drawn into all of this? I mean... You don't have to tell me if it's too painful or anything but... I dunno... I guess I'm just trying to get a better grasp on the situation... You know?" he asked, trying not to sound pesimistic.

Ryujin just listened. Her story... It seemed so sad... Yet... She had the mental and emotional strength to tell it without any pain... Or so it seemed. "Wow... I'm sorry... That seems like it would have been horrible..." he said, somewhat sympathetic towards her. "Well..." he started, looking back to her now, "what brought you here? I mean, surely there are a thousand other places you could go if what you've told me is true..."

Ryujin just nodded in agreement. "It is pretty nice..." he said. "And the sun's just coming up too. It should be a nice day... Very nice..." At that, he just lay back, putting his arms behind his head and resting. "And... What's up with those... key-sword things I've seen some people with? Nearly everyone I've met with one is a good person... And very skilled in battle as well..."

Ryujin was actually relaxed for once. Mika seemed like a great person, and the island weather was perfect. "It's okay, I guess. I always liked to go out in the woods and hunt, or go down and explore the old mansion. That place always kinda creeped me out though... And that's where I first met those... things..." he said, an unusually thoughtful look on his face.

Ryujin just nodded in agreement. "It's very strange... Almost as if they're only there to guard something... That something, I discovered by accident... In the basement, there was... Some... Black-hole-like object... I walked through it, and the next thing I new I was in this creepy city... Shortly after, I found an identical one that led me to some other town, with a huge tower-like castle thing... I wasn't even there long enough to find out the name of the place. I did leave all of my things there by accident though..."

Ryujin thought for a moment. "No... But that city place I told you about... The one that I said was kinda creepy? There was some sort of castle or other floating above it... And in the town I was in, there was only one tower... It was called... Um... Villain's... Something or other..." he said, trying to think.

Ryujin thought about it. It was hard too... His mind kept wandering (and eyes) kept wandering over to Mika. There was something unusual about her... But he couldn't put his finger on it... "Let's see... It was... Hollow... Hollow... dang... It's on the tip of my tongue..." he thought aloud.

Ryujin then stopped. "Hollow Bastion..." he repeated. Then, he caught her question. "No, it's just... Something about you... It seems different... I don't know how to describe it... Forgive me if I offend you..." he said, trying not to insult her. "Maybe I'm just crazy..." At that, he looked up at the sky again, watching the sun in the morning sky.

Ryujin let out a chuckle, seemingly random. "You know... It's funny... I keep meeting all sorts of unusual people lately... Well, atleast unusual for what I'm accustomed to, anyway... But... Almost all of them have seemed to possess different varieties of abilities... I mean... There was this one guy back in that... Hollow Bastion, was it? Anyway... He wore a black coat with the wind symbol on it... And he had two of those... keyblades... And could use the wind, and some... dark energy or something... It was pretty cool, actually. He was a real nice guy from what I got to know of him... He said he was with some... "Organization Twilight" or something like that..."

Ryujin saw the fangs indeed. Yet, he thought nothing of it, as he didn't think much of it. Though, Mika seemed to be blushing. "What's wrong? Is that what this is about? You've been trying to hide your fangs? That makes you a vampire, correct? " he asked calmly. Sure, he was a hothead, but he wasn't judgemental. And Mika had shown him great kindness. He couldn't just change how he thought about her based on such a simple thing. "Trust me, I've seen stranger lately..."

Ryujin just smiled. "It's nothing to be ashamed of, or anything you need to hide, but I can perfectly understand why you would have. I mean... Not everyone is as open minded as others. I've seen my fair share of unusual things lately. Yet... Not everyone would see it that way... Many people probably would try to judge you... After all, vampires are somewhat notorious in mythology..." he said.
Yet, he saw the look on her face. She felt guilty about not telling him... "I don't blame you at all for hiding it... I know you probably thought I'd instantly label you for it. It's understandable. But... To me, what a person looks like or is physically isn't how I decide what kind of person they are. You're coming down too hard on yourself..." he continued.

Ryujin just scratched the back of his head nervously. He hoped he hadn't said anything to upset her. "I'm not that wise... Just not judgemental..." he responded. "And no, you're not that easy to read... or... Actually, I'm not sure about that part. Maybe... As for other vampires... well, you're not them, so why should you care what people think about you? You're just you. You don't have to try to be anything else."

Ryujin too relaxed. For the first time in a long time, as a matter of fact. "Yeah... I was actually in a similar predicament... I only had a few friends back in Twilight Town... Only the non-judgemental ones even looked at me. I outcast myself... I was a bit of a loner most of the time, and went on hunts for days on end... And people thought I was uncivilized just because I worked for my food rather than buying it..." he replied.
"I just don't get it... People hate each other and different things for being any different than them... But... If we were all the same, we'd get bored, or go insane and kill each other... It's ridiculous..." he continued. Then he just stopped, looking back at the sun. He laid back down again, but this time not as far from Mika. "It's so nice out, huh?" he asked, just staring up at the morning sky. "So peaceful..."

Ryujin just smiled. Mika seemed like one of the kindest people he'd met in his life. Sure, she was a vampire, but she was still a person. She was no different from any other. She was just herself. She just had that air about her... She was unique, that much was certain. "So are you," he replied, not really thinking. Then, after a few moments, he realized what he said, and blushed, looking away.

Ryujin just kept looking away. Thankfully she hadn't understood what he'd meant. He hadn't stopped in mid-thought, but had said she too was beautiful and tranquil like the sunrise. Now he definitely thought he should keep his mouth shut, for fear of saying something he shouldn't. Then again, he didn't want to be disrespectful and ignore her... What to do, what to do... He'd really gotten himself in a tight situation... Either way, he risked offending her... He just lay there for a moment, thinking. "Um... Nothing... Nevermind..." he replied, hoping she'd just leave it alone. He doubted, but hoped...
