Tobias knew they were being watched. He knew what would happen as soon as he got off the ship. Perhaps it was better that way, though. He sighed.
"I don't need to swim. I'll never make it to shore, probably, but I'm not dumb enough to swim where I know things lurk. I'll make my own ride.." He said, going to the rail. "You don't know what a heartless is. So I'll show you." He said, climbing onto the rail.
"Whatever your quest in life is, capt'n," Tobias began. " ... I wish you luck on it." He turned around, back to the water. "Fare thee well." He saluted, before letting himself lean back so he fell headfirst.
As he was in air, he put his hands out infront of him toward the water. There was no sign of what was happening but he'd summoned a sea heartless below the water. And then he allowed himself to spin so his feet would touch water first.
He broke through the water's surface into the water. Submerged completely.
For a moment it looked like he'd drowned himself.
But then....
He rose back up above the water in a crouched position, looking like he was standing on the water. Then the head of a sea serpant, black shining scales with yellow glowing eyes, rose from the water with Tobias on it's head. Tobias stood up. "This is a heartless.. A being born from someone who lost their heart to the darkness. Within every heartless is a captive heart..."
"Those chosen with the blades in shapes of keys are sworn to destroy heartless. Like me. There are humanoid heartless, some evil, and some confused. I am a heartless, but I also carry a key shaped blade. The Keyblade." He explained.
"Keep your heart close. Because some heartless will steal the hearts of others.." Tobias said, frowning slightly. He then closed his eyes with a sad smile, then looked up again.
"Keep strong, Captain Davy Jones." Tobias said with slightly more cheer.

Suddenly, the playing of the organ ceased, and Jones appeared right at the boat's side, watching in annoyance. "Very well. However, the next time we meet, it's the locker for you!" the old captain proclaimed bitterly. The crewman all gasped in shock, unsure of what to think of the captain's reaction. Normally the old man would strike the boy down where he stood, yet something held old Davy back...
What was it? Even Jones himself wasn't sure. Without giving it another thought however, the captain stormed back off to his cabin, peg leg pounding all the while. Shortly, the haunting tune could be heard once again.

Tobias shook his head with a small sad smile. Then the serpant turned itself around and started for land at a speed. Tobias put his hand up in a slight wave with his back toward the ship, looking ahead.
"Well that wasn't too bad an experience.." Tobias said to himself. He didn't think Davy Jones was that bad, actually.
As soon as he was out of sight of the ship, his expression was serious. He knew he was being watched. " I know you're out here, Martieve.." He said calmly. "What do you want from me, anyway? I'm a kid. What purpose would you want ME for?" He looked around slowly.

Sure enough, as the boy called out, a sinister laugh echoed from the beach, and Martieve appeared from a dark portal. "Ah, but you have so much more to offer. For you see... I have need of the keyblade... and as you've learned already, Arkyron is beyond my control at this point. Now be a good little Heartless and obey the one with the dark!" the old man commanded, summorning a small army of Neo Shadows.
Before they could do anything though, a metallic sound rang out, and hearts floated into the sky. Obvious signs of a keyblade wielder. A cloaked figure whirled two keyblades through the air opposite circular motions, as the he crouched and leapt at Martieve, leaving the man little time to react. Martieve blocked the innitial strike, but the figure spun around, striking him in the back and knocking the breath out of him.
Then, the cloaked figure leapt away from Martieve and, in the same motion, dismissed the keyblade in his left hand and launched a burst of dark energy at the man, sending him to the ground. "Tobias! Get going! Find Hikari and stay with her!" the keybearer commanded, taking his hood down to reveal it was none other than Arkyron. "Organization Twilight is back, and we have to take refuge with them or be destroyed! I'll find you two and explain later!"

"Ah, but you have so much more to offer. For you see... I have need of the keyblade... and as you've learned already, Arkyron is beyond my control at this point. Now be a good little Heartless and obey the one with the dark!" The old guy had said.
Tobias had given a sigh at this. Until a cloaked keyblader appeared and killed the heartless Martieve summoned.
Tobias knew automatically who'd appeared, because Arkyron ALWAYS seemed to appear out of nowhere in just the nick of time. Tobias almost grinned.
"Tobias! Get going! Find Hikari and stay with her! Organization Twilight is back, and we have to take refuge with them or be destroyed! I'll find you two and explain later!" He'd said after removing his hood.
Tobias sighed. "Either I'm becomming a psychic or you appearing out of nowhere is becomming a daily routine.." He pointed out. "Do you have any idea where she is, by the way?" He asked raising a brow. Moving his hand foreward to trap Martieve in a dome of fire, an anti-portal dome of fire, too, mwuahahaha.
Tobias waited for the answer. When you thought about how many worlds there were, it would have taken Tobias, literally, about 2 years to find his sister.

Arkyron grunted a bit in rage as he leapt at Martieve, spiraling vertically through the air. "Last I knew..." he started, landing a blow upon the man, then leaping back to dodge Martieve's own attack, "... she was in Hollow Bastion, looking for you," the keybearer finished, sighing with relief when Martieve was out of range. "And as for my constant appearances... the dark isn't hard to find when you're a part of it," the young warrior muttered.
"WHOA!" Arkyron yelped, ducking just in time to avoid a Blizzaga spell from Martieve. Then, somehow, in the midst of all the chaos, an awkward thought occurred to Arkyron. Tobias didn't know about Hikari and he... Snapping back into reality, the keybearer deflected a Firaga spell back at Martieve, letting out an awkward laugh.
"Oh... um... I'm not sure now is such a good time, or if I should be the one to tell you this, but... er... your sister and I... are kinda... we- OH SNAP!" the youth cut off, side-stepping a Thundaga spell and whirling past a blast of dark energy. "Er... Hikari and I are kinda... engaged now..." Arkyrong managed to finish, leaping to the side of another Firaga spell.

That took awhile to sink into Tobias' conscience. ".......Wait.... What?!" He exclaimed, dumbstruck and completely shocked. "When-?! How-?! What-?!" He was one lost 11 year old boy.
If he'd known now was a good time to do so, he'd faint. Not just because it was surprising to him. But also because long ago, before darkness came to Leona, Hikari had sworn to her brother she'd never get married.. For good self-respecting reasons, of course.
Regardless, he wasn't sure whether or not to be happy or sad that she'd changed her resolve on that.
"...Please allow my sanity to catch up with my mind, I think you made me lose it when you said that.." Tobias said, blinking slowly.

Arkyron couldn't help but laugh at Tobias' reaction. The young boy had probably already had alot of stress, but the keybearer assumed now was as good a time as any. "Fair enough," the youth replied as he leapt over a fireball. Before he could react however, Arkyron was struck by a Thunder spell, and fell to the ground in shock. Before the keybearer could rise to his feet, Martieve loomed over him, blade to the youth's neck. "Atlast!" the man exclaimed in sheer exileration as he leaned back and prepared a lethal blow.
The rapier landed upon the ground not a moment later, accompanied by its wielder. Canon fire echoed from the waters, and the Dutchman could be seen sailing off into the abyss. It would appear that help always comes from unexpected places. Rising to his feet, Arkyron quickly ran to Martieve, and put Fate's Crossing to the man's throat. "Not a move," the youth said with a grin. However, the expression quickly faded as Martieve began laughing and faded into darkness, and finally disappearing into the abyss. Somewhat disappointed by the display, the keybearer turned back to face Tobias. "So, shall we find Hikari?" Arkyron asked in an almost teasing tone.

Tobias was looking out toward's the Dutchman. He had a faint smile. "Thanks for the help" He said quietly. Then looked at Arkyron. "Sure... Let's go find her..." He said.
He walked over dismissing the sea serpant he'd made. He looked back towards the dissapeared ship one last time before looking at Arkyron again.
"By the way... Have you seen Xirx or Xarika lately...?" Tobias asked, smile faded off as he rubbed a bruise on his arm. He cursed cause his jacket was ruined now.

Smiling at the young boy before him, Arkyron dismissed Fate's Crossing and Banishment from his hands. As the keyblades vanished, so did the chaos. A few nearby trees blazed a bit, but Arkyron quickly doused them with wind magic. As the flames died, Arkyron reverted his attention to Tobias, his soon to be brother-in-law if things went accordingly. "Alright, let's go find the bride-to-be," the keybearer said with a large grin as he held out on hand to the young boy while creating a dark portal with the other. "As for Xirx... I ran into him in Halloween Town a while back, but not since then... Xarika, I'm not so sure of...." he added in quickly, slight concern crossing his face.

Tobias watched him dismiss key keyblades, and put the fire on trees out. He sighed.
"As for Xirx... I ran into him in Halloween Town a while back, but not since then... Xarika, I'm not so sure of...."
Tobias looked up at him quickly. "Well... If, or when, you see either of them again... Tell them to stay the hell away from me. Cause the next time I see them, Arkyron.. I promise you this.. I'll kill them." He said, opening a portal infront of them.

With a sigh, Arkyron slowly glanced around, making sure they weren't being followed. The place was silent; not a trace of darkness except for the portals and Tobias. The end felt so near, but so far away. What lay beyond the portals? Would it be a happy ending with the girl he loved? Would he end up without her? Or, worst of all, would neither of them come out of their battles alive? The questions plagued Arkyron, and drove him near the edge. For now, he refused to think of it, and stepped through the portal before him.

Tobias glanced up at the man walking into the portal infront of him. He'd half expected Arkyron to glance at him in shock and question him as to why he'd said he'd kill Xirx or Xarika.
But maybe things happened that made it seem like it was easy to make enemies. Maybe that was why it seemed Arkyron paid little attention to what had been said.
Tobias shrugged. It didn't matter either way. It didn't change the fact that Tobias would still make them pay for what they did to him. Evil or not, for reasons good or bad, Tobias believed that nothing had given those nobodies the right to beat him up and then dump in him the ocean on another world.
And so, Tobias stepped through the portal, it closing behind him and his future brother-in-law. Believe it or not Tobias almost fainted at the word.
Brother in Law? holy CRAP! Tobias thought to himself, as any child his age would.
