Member Information
Player Username: Xandiel
Random Character Notes (Add anything extra here): First timer to KHRP, Long- time fan of KH, I know the story back to front.
Character Basics
Character Name: Xandiel (I intend this to be my main character)
Character Age: 18
Character Race: Human
Character Gender: Male
About the Character
Character Personality: Calm and collected. He thinks everything through, and thinks about what would be the most logical course of action. He is neither good nor evil, but in the middle, protecting the worlds from everything. He is solitary and calculating, but not cold. He has emotions, he just doesn’t let them get in the way of his thoughts.
Character Appearance: He often wears a full- body robe, similar to the Organization’s but not the same. In addition, the right half is black and the left white, setting it further apart from their robes. This usually covers his whole body, including matching gloves and shoes. Underneath, his skin is the reverse of his cloak, black on the left side and white on the right. He is six feet tall, 180 pounds, muscular, with silver eyes and hair. He can also summon his armor by smashing his gauntlets together. This causes a flash of light and darkness that envelopes his body and when it clears, he is wearing a smooth suit of armor that resembles liquid metal. It matches the color scheme of his cloak, practically like a flexible metal bodysuit. The helmet covers his head closely, but is smooth over the face, similar to Vanitas’ but without the angles in the back.
Character Hobbies/Activities (Optional Field): He tends to relax, read, and spar in his free time. He mostly has fun by himself, and rarely “hangs out” with others.
Battle Statistics
Character Position: Neutral
Character Abilities (Maximum of 15 abilities allowed - please write your abilities in list form, starting with name & then description):
Umbrakinesis: The ability to control darkness, like darkening a room or demonstrating his power by summoning balls of darkness. Non- combat.
Lumakinesis: The ability to control light, like creating a flashlight- like beam to see or making himself glow with a dim white aura. Non- combat.
Whirling blade: Xandiel spins Equilibrium so fast that it resembles a deadly silver disc. He can then spin it around him, deflecting attacks easily or slashing through almost anything. Lasts for up to 2 posts, 3 post cooldown after the attack finishes.
Telekinesis: Xandiel can control his blades telekinetically, allowing him to wield the four main ones simultaneously. Controllable up to 5 meters away, lasts 2 posts before he has to drop to two and hold them manually. Cooldown of 3 posts after telekinesis finishes.
Blast of light: Shoots a basketball- sized ball of swirling light at the opponent. It does medium damage to most opponents, very low damage to light opponents, and extremely high damage to dark opponents and nobodies. 2 post cooldown.
Blast of darkness: Shoots a basketball- sized ball of swirling darkness at the opponent. It does medium damage to most opponents, very low damage to dark opponents, and extremely high damage to light opponents and nobodies. 2 post cooldown.
Inverse Burst: Summons equilibrium (if possible) and spins it over his head, alternately shooting baseball- sized balls of light and darkness in every direction. Most useful against large crowds of weaker enemies, especially nobodies. Can be blocked or dodged (if you can dodge that many at once). Lasts about 15 seconds (less than one post) and shoots about 50 balls. 3 post cooldown.
Call to the elements: Xandiel's most involved attack. Xandiel summons a ball of light in one hand and darkness in the other. He then spins both around him until he is practically encased in a silver cocoon. Five things then happen in quick succesion:
The ground rumbles and cracks around the enemies’ feet, releasing bursts of light and darkness that do medium damage (around 1/4 of their maximum hp on a normal player character). This can be avoided by dodging or jumping, or blocking with an area block like aqua's Barrier.
Two black and two white thunderbolts rain from the sky, homing in and doing large damage (around 1/4 max hp per thunderbolt on a normal player character). These can be dodged or blocked if the player can block from above.
Four white and four black fireballs stream from the cocoon and spin around him, expanding in every direction similar to ventus' Faith attack. These can be blocked or dodged and do medium- low damage (around 1/8 max hp on a normal player character).
Water gushes out from the cracks in the ground made by the earthquakes, pushing them back but doing almost no damage unless they are pushed into something. Can be blocked with barrier or dodged by jumping over the flow.
Finally, a shield of air surrounds Xandiel for one post. All damage to the playing ground disappears at the end of this attack. 10 post cooldown.
Brilliant Light: Unleashes his true power of light, shooting damaging beams of it in every direction. This has a radius of about 5 meters. 3 post cooldown.
Consuming Darkness: Releases his full darkness, consuming everything within 5 meters with balls of shadow and damaging them. 3 post cooldown.
Energy Released: Xandiel combines light and darkness, swirling them around his body into a sort of cocoon. He begins to glow bright silver, and shoots light and darkness everywhere in a massive blast. It’s extremely destructive, and instantly kills all but the strongest opponents (AKA it kills most NPCs and almost never kills player characters, unless I have permission or it’s a fight to the death and it’s assumed). To player characters, it will do a lot of damage- it’s advisable to just get out of range. Often blinds opponents that were caught in the blast and are remaining afterwards. Radius of 10 meters, the outer edge of the range will glow silver when the ability begins. Xandiel cannot use any other abilities the post after this ability is used. 10 post cooldown.
Healing light: Xandiel is enveloped in a light that heals most of his wounds, everything except fatal damage. If fatally damaged, it will heal him enough that he won’’t die, but he will have to rest. 5 post cooldown.
Solid darkness: Xandiel is surrounded by a spherical shield of darkness for a maximum of two posts. He can see through this shield and shoot dark attacks (but not light attacks) through it. It can be penetrated or destroyed by very few abilities, it would take a hit that would destroy him to destroy the shield. 2 post cooldown.
Corridors of light: He can travel instantly in a flash of light. This is mostly used for inter- world travel, but can be used to dodge in a pinch. 3 post cooldown in combat.
Corridors of darkness: He can teleport instantly in a swirl of darkness. This is more often used in combat, teleporting away and behind an opponent or dodging an attack. 2 post cooldown in combat.
Character Weapons: A note about dual- wielding. Xandiel must be balanced and can only dual- wield one light and one dark sword. Possible combinations include Lux/Nox, Light key/Dark key, Lux/Dark key, and Light key/Nox. However, if he becomes swamped in darkness/blinded by light, he will hold only the swords of that power and cannot summon equilibrium. Possible combinations are then only Light key/Lux or Dark key/Nox.
Lux- A double- edged sword that is summoned from the light around him. Its blade is super- hardened white steel, and its hilt pure diamond. He can wield it with one hand easily, making it easy to dual- wield with another one- handed sword. It multiplies his strength by about 1.5, and the more light there is in the environment, the more damage blows from this sword do, up to 2X his normal strength. If there is no light nearby, it cannot be summoned. It changes name, appearance, length, and weight depending on Xandiel’s attitude and the amount of light in the area.
Nox- A double- edged sword that is summoned from the darkness around him. Its blade is super- hardened black iron, and its hilt pure onyx. He can wield it with one hand easily, making it easy to dual- wield with another one- handed sword. It multiplies his strength by about 1.5, and the more darkness there is in the environment, the more damage blows from this sword do, up to 2X his normal strength. If there is no darkness nearby, it cannot be summoned. It changes name, appearance, length, and weight depending on Xandiel’s attitude and the amount of darkness in the area.
Key to Light: A keyblade that comes from the warming light in Xandiel’s heart. It multiplies the strength of his light magic attacks by 2X. If his heart were to be somehow taken over by darkness, this keyblade would disappear. It resembles the kingdom key, but the guard is different and there is a crown on the end opposite the key prongs, not to mention that the whole thing is white. I also posted the pic in fan interests.
Key to Darkness: A keyblade that comes from the soothing darkness in Xandiel’s heart. It multiplies the strength of his dark magic attacks by 2X. If his heart was somehow blinded by light, this keyblade would disappear. It resembles the kingdom key, but the guard is different and there is a crown on the end opposite the key prongs, not to mention that the whole thing is black.
Equilibrium- A double bladed, double edged sword that is made by melding all four swords into one. It has properties of as many swords as are available. For example, if Lux can be summoned, it doubles his strength. If Nox can be summoned, it doubles brings his strength up to 3X. If the Key to Light can be summoned, it doubles the strength of his light magic. If the Key to darkness can be summoned, it doubles the strength of his dark magic. There must be at least two swords available to make this weapon. It is at its strongest when all four are available. At this point it becomes Equilibrium+. Equilibrium+ Multiplies strength, magic, and light and darkness attacks by 3X their normal strength. He can summon it at will as long as enough swords are available to make it, but at times decomposes it to make use of abilities such as Telekinesis or just to make a combo flow better by dual- wielding, as Equilibirium is a two- handed weapon and is not always the best choice for a given combat situation.
Character Accessories: Black and white gauntlets.
Mode of Transportation: Corridors of darkness and light.
Character Strengths: Very elegant and powerful swordfighter. Knowledge and power from light and darkness. Extreme magical abilities when it comes to light and darkness. However, these powers rely almost completely on his weapons. After combining all four into Equilibrium, he could shatter boulders with it.
Character Weaknesses: Since he does not depend on friends, he can be overwhelmed by numbers when he fights. Also, if surrounded by nothingness, or if there is a lack of light and darkness, he cannot summon Lux or Nox and his strength drops considerably. If his heart is blinded by light or overwhelmed with darkness, he cannot summon one of his keyblades, and his magic drops considerably. He is also rather weak with out the weapons granted to him, and without them, his strength and magic are quite low. Without Lux and Nox, his strength would be low enough that he would barely be able to break an inch- thick panel of wood.
Character Story
Character Home World: A part of The Land of Departure/Castle Oblivion. Hidden on the boundary of light and darkness, none of the inhabitants of this world (or any) know of his existence.
Character Relationships: Almost none. He has no parents, having emerged from light and darkness as their guardian. He has no friends, and few alliances. He allies with heartless, nobodies, unversed, heroes and villains, anybody to protect himself and the worlds.
History: Created fully grown from the powers of light and darkness during the first keyblade war to protect both. He realized his purpose after a short time and helped to stop the keyblade war, becoming known as the “Vanishing Peacekeeper”. After he fulfilled his purpose and the war was over, he found a home in The Land of Departure, being on the margin of light and darkness as he is. He waited there until Xehanort began his plan, but even then held back, unsure. It seemed Xehanort claimed to want to use light and darkness as well. However, he realized that Xehanort was only using darkness, and was using it to destroy the worlds, as well. As he considered interfering, Terra, Aqua and Ventus took care of him for the time. When he returned home, he realized that it had changed. His home had become a hidden room in Castle Oblivion. As for the events in Kingdom Hearts one and two, he had nothing against the heartless and nobodies, and felt no reason to interfere- until he realized that Ansem, seeker of darkness was Xehanort! By then, however, Sora had defeated Xehanort and Xemnas. He returned to the End of the World and found Kingdom Hearts' door, and when he touched it, he felt power flow into his arm. Kingdom hearts itself had realized the strength of his heart and granted him a keyblade! So he bided his time, waiting for Xehanort to return or some other evil to rise. He wanders from world to world, resting at castle oblivion or the castle that never was, and defending light and darkness from destruction.
