Note: My only source of an internet browser is my PS3 due to a meltdown of our PC. This has rendered my typing very slow. Character Basics
Name: Jeremy 'Jay' Estwin Coil
Age: 16
Race: Human
Gender: Male
About Jeremy
Personality: Jeremy is smart, and he knows it. His smug attitude and sharp wit tend to get on the nerves of those around him. Especially frustrating is his tendency to point out the flaws of those around him. In general, he is an upbeat and cheerful individual, though he is very easily bored. He is highly capricious and treats those around him as if they are pawns in a game solely for his amusement. He has no sense of direction in life, so he is easily drawn to places seeing a lot of action. He has little to no compassion for others (Though it can be argued that isn't his fault) and loves the thrill of decieving people and proceding to stab them in the back. (Often literally)
Appearance: Jeremy's hair is short/medium in length and medium brown in color (with noticable light brown highlights), about two inches long on top and down to the bottom of his neck in back. Style wise, it is wispy and feathered, spiking at a diagonal/horizontal angle, and it moves when he does. His eyes are a multicolored crystalline blue that appear to shift in hue based on the viewing angle. He sports a white hoodie with light blue lines down the center of the sleeves as well as two down the front in a parabolic shape. His pants are simple lighty colored blue jeans. In the department of shoes, he wears laceless dress shoes made of white leather. He is caucasian, and his build is slim and lithe, though not necessarily muscular and he stands at 5'8''. Jeremy is generally regarded as attractive and or having a 'pretty face.'
Hobbies: Jeremy is actually a very talented singer and loves to practice when nobody is around.
Battle Statistics
Position: Neutral (Leaning towards villain...ish)
Abilities:
Grace (passive): Due to his training as an assassin, Jeremy has physical skills that would make a professional gymnist cry in self-loathing. He has incredible flexibility and acrobatic skills, along with great aptitude in activities such as climbing.
Mesmerizing Eyes (passive): Not so much an ability as a passive trait, Jeremy's eyes have a deep, mesmerizing quality that causes anybody that looks into them to become fixated on them and possibly disoriented and sleepy if they stare into them for too long. As this happens, the victim feels as if his eyes are expanding to take up their field of vision.
Perception (passive): Years and years of doing his job have given Jeremy an almost supernatural ability to detect dishonesty. Whether someone is lying, bending the truth, or pretending to be someone they're not, Jeremy is on to them and he can play the game better. Really. It does not, however, help him to know what the truth is. He has to put his intellect to that like anybody else. Additionally, Jeremy picks up on minute details others miss, such as minor changes in facial expressions, the disturbance of terrain by invisible foes, quiet noises of all types, etc. His Aether powers also allow him to see through illusions and cloaking abilities if he conciously decides to do so.
Aether Dreams: As with all of his abilities, Jeremy uses his inborn talent to draw figments of magic (It isn't actually magic, but rather something entirely different) from the Aether (World of Dreams) to create illusions that are extremely vivid; often passing the test of all five senses. This can be achieved in one of two ways. One is simply by creating phantasms that anybody can see and interact with. The other is to make eye contact with a specific individual, allowing him to make illusions that only they experience. The illusions created in this manner are much more powerful and realistic than the other variety, but he can only keep one person under this influence at any given time.
Dream Holy: Calls a figment of the spell Holy from the Aether. It is partly real, and is a method of attack like any other spell. However, it only has the power of a ra- or ga- level spell. (Depending on the effort behind it.) On the flip side, it's nature as a figment allows it to punch straight through defenses that would normally hinder magic (shell, etc.). It is distinguishable by the tinge of rainbow hues within it and it's smaller radius of effect. Extremely effective against dark creatures.
Dream Flare: As with Dream Holy, Jeremy calls a figment of the spell Flare from the Aether. It shares the same relative power and it's ability to punch straight through defenses that would normally hinder magic. It is distinguishable from Flare by it's edges being out of definition and rainbow hued, as well as, again, a slightly smaller radius.
Dream Darkga: Another Aether based spell, Dream Darkga calls a figment of the spell Darkga, causing a large rainbow-edged eruption of darkness that saps the life out of of any caught within it. It has the same power and properties as Dream Holy and Dream Flare, but the 'damage' it causes in not instantly visible like the other two due to its nature as a spell.
Dream Curse: Jeremy places a curse on the target to seal off their spirit from the Aether. The end result is that they are completely unable to summon anything until the curse is removed via high level restorative magic such as Cleanse, or a valuable item such as Holy Water.
The spell takes the form of a ring of small rainbow spheres that form around Jeremy before firing at extremely high speed towards the target, making them look like rays rather than spheres. Upon contact with the target, a transparent rainbow image of them is forced out of the side opposite the impact before fading away. The spell lasts either one day (one topic) or until removed with the previously mentioned methods.
Suggestion (passive): Laced with the dreamlike qualities of the Aether, the things Jeremy says always manage to sound reasonable.
Aether Blades: Forms a blade(s) of power from the Aether. Like his spells they are figments and as such they are transparent, thin, and rainbow hued. They are also quite capable of slicing clean through magical defenses, as well as lesser materials and metals (wood, iron, etc.)
Aether's Mirror: Sends forth a rippling rainbow hued distortion in space that turns the object it envelops transparent, rainbow hued, and unable to affect the world around it. Drawn halfway into the Aether, it has become a mere illusion. The concept can also be reversed to make something illusionary solid, though at a much greater cost of magical energy (Additionally, it cannot be used to create an object with exceptionally special properties. E.x. a creature won't have the power to blow up the world just because he imagined it that way when he formed the illusion.). Either way the effect is temporary, lasting ten minutes at the most.
Dream Gate: Jeremy opens a shimmering rainbow hued portal to the Aether, which functions identically to a Dark Corridor, leading wherever he wants to go. Even inter-world travel is quite possible. Anybody foolish enough to follow him will be trapped in the Aether, lost among dreams and memories before they are spit out on a random world somewhere.
Blink: Jeremy uses power from the Aether to instantly move a short distance, leaving behind a ghostly rainbow hued afterimage for a brief second that quickly fades away.
Dream Curaga: A figment of a Curaga spell, this rainbow-hued variant is just above Cura in power. However, the Aether has altered it to also act as an Esuna spell, curing any lingering nasty effects along with the wounds.
Dream Ultima: As one might guess, calls a figment of the spell Ultima from the Aether. This profusion of screaming, explosive, rainbow hued light is Jeremy's trump card, sitting above the strength of ga- spells, though it still pales in comparison to the original. It takes one post to charge, during which time Jeremy takes on a shimmering rainbow hued aura. Afterwords, he definitely wont be using it again for at least another two posts.
Weapons:
Jeremy uses his Aether Blades ability almost exclusively in melee, though he carries a set of wicked mythril daggers as a backup in case he runs totally out of magic. He can use them separately, or as a fan-like shape between his fingers, and is also proficient at throwing them.
Accessories:
Golden Hairpin: Opting to wear it as a necklace instead, it's powers protect him from being silenced.
Bangle: An inconspicuous green wristband provides Jeremy a constant Libra effect, allowing him to Scan creatures at will.
Strengths: Excellent mental aptitude and fortitude, magical prodigy.
Weaknesses: Capricious, relies on technique rather than his unimpressive physical strength.
Summons:
Seradí: Summoned by the incantation "You who resides in the dream between light and darkness, I summon thee! Seradí!" A diety from the Aether, Seradí stands about as tall as a typical single-story home. Beautiful by the standards of most any man, her curly blonde hair that reaches the bottom of her back does nothing to hide her stunning rainbow eyes. She is clothed in a flowing half-black-half-white garment that drapes on all the right places. Rainbow-hued bracelets float a small distance around her arms, held in place by some invisible force. Upon appearing, she forms a true Holy spell in one hand and a Gravija spell in the other. The unfortunate victims are caught between the two attacks in a tecnique Jeremy has come to know as Divine Cataclysm. Her job finished, Seradí returnes to the Aether.
Character Story
Home World: Gallant Meadows (Original)
Relationships: Family long deceased. Various business contacts across the worlds. Cardinal Draconi (npc) is a mentor-like figure to him.
History: Jeremy hails from the world of Gallant Meadows, so named for the abundance of flowers that grew there. At the tender age of four, he discovered his inborn (and unique) talent to draw on the mysterious Aether. Soon after his family died in a tragic 'accident' and Emperor West had the government 'care' for him. Their 'care' shaped him into the most feared assassin the planet had ever known, his skills in illusion and deception aiding him well. Anybody that dared raise their voice against West's totalitarian policies was quickly silenced by the now merciless teen. When he was fourteen, the Heartless invaded his world and he escaped through a dream gate. Never having been to another world, he simply wandered until he was spit out on Hollow Bastion. He eventually made some 'business contacts' in the organization known as G.A.S.T (Guild of Assassins, Spies, and Thieves) after demonstrating his skills, which began his 'professional' trips to other worlds. Taking advantage of his newfound freedom, he spends his time going from one shady job to the next in search of money and thrills. After all, it's all he knows and it's certainly what he does best.

Jeremy couldn't help but smile as he stepped into the rainbow-tinted portal in front of him. Walking briskly, he reached the opposite side of the space within it. Moments later he stepped out into the streaming sunlight of Hollow Bastion, it's ancient archetecture spiraling around him chaotically. He had always held a love for this place ever since he had met Cardinal Draconi, once his main source of income.
He paused. Who was his target again? He pulled out a slip of paper to double-check.
Ah. The wizard Feril had come to Hollow Bastion to help rebuild, something that was very bad for his client's business. He faded from sight before making his way to the center of town, where Faril was predictably helping the rebuilding efforts with various elemental magics. Flanking him was his assistant, the white mage Renalda, a pretty but shy little brunette. Visible again, he approached her while her master was distracted. "Come with me." he spoke, his suggestive powers tickling her ears.
"Someone needs your help over here"
He gave her a winning smile, and with one last glance at her master her hesitation broke. He lead her into a deserted portion of town before turning to face her, his smile no longer the least bit friendly.
"Sorry dearie, end of the line."
He now grasped a rainbow hued blade. The unfortunate girl screamed, throwing up a Wall spell to protect her. There was no way for her to know that his blade would pass through it as if it were no more solid than the air around her. Dispassionate eyes watched as she slumped forward on the blade before it simply vanished, dumping her corpse unceremoniously to the ground. Moments later, an illusion of the girl he had just murdered wrapped itself around him. It was that form with which he approached Faril, tugging shyly on his sleeve.
"Please come." 'she' said, "It's important."
The wizard gave him a brief serious look before addressing the general crowd around him.
"Do not dispair,...I will return shortly." As the pair walked towards their destination, Faril once again turned his serious gaze upon him.
"I trust this is important?"
"It is, I promise. There." He pointed as they reached the spot where he had killed Faril's apprentice.
The wizard walked over to the corpse to get a better look.
"What in blazes?" He exclaimed as he realised the identity of the dead young woman. Whatever though he would have had next was silenced by a shimmering blade piercing his heart from behind.
Jeremy chuckled and shook his head as he summoned a Dream Gate with an outstretched hand.
"Idiots." He drawled as he stepped through.
