Open for all
The beach is simply the ideal spot for a summer location. No one doubts it, everyone believes it. The beach of choice for Constantine was, unmistakably, Destiny Islands. Unlike some beaches, this beach was simply beautiful. The sand radiated with nature's presence and did not have any scars caused by man's 'advances'. The sand was smooth and perfect, the sun shined high up in the sky and the water was simply crystal clear.
Relaxation was a wake up call for Constantine. There surely was no wrong in taking vacations from studies every so often. The endless texts, the memorizations, the disciplines, the dos and don'ts, today Constantine cast them all away from his nerves.
He walked up from the shore of the beach, emerging from the water, the salt water dripping from every part of his body. The cool wind blew across his body, causing him to moan in pleasure as he felt the sensation move across his body like a shiver. He stroked his hair back with both of his fingers sending all of his hair back in a single motion. With only black swimming trunks around his hips, Constantine was actually showing his entire body to public; a rare sight and unusual pattern of behavior for the creature.
As muscular as he was, Constantine was still no match for any bodybuilder, but he certainly stood out in the sight of average men. He felt so exposed, as if he was naked, he wanted to quickly dress, but he enjoyed the attention, as if he was being spoiled now.
Constantine seeked shelter away from the sun underneath his parasol. He sat on the ground, crossed his legs and stared out towards the sea. What a sight to see, the beauty of nature was certainly unrivaled to his eyes and the serenity of his surroundings were second to none.

((Mind if I join? I'm nowhere near your roleplaying level though. >>))
Footsteps were light on the beach, grains of sand rolling away with every step that anyone took. The slightly sinking feeling was pleasant for the girl as she headed towards the water, mindful to not get too much sand in her shoes. Pleasantries of the sun-bleached ground were interrupted as she froze where she was, seeing a parasol and a nude upper body of a man. A very feminine blink in shock crossed her face before her dark grey eyes were replaced with an expression of relief and recognition with the swimming trunks hiding those spots that shouldn't be revealed courteously nor rudely to the public.
The Wanderer of Twilight tugged at the vambraces on her arms nervously, having removed her coat sleeves before she left home due to the nicely warm weather. She wasn't necessarily used to, um, being in a guy's presence like this, even if they were complete strangers. Awkward, it was, and a little embarrassing. Not really sure what to do, the normally level-headed Xeraskterpe shuffled about until she found a comfortable spot to sit on the heated dunes. Several paces away was that man with decent looks, and Xeras looked at him more in curiosity rather than true "interest". Of course. Being part-Nobody, it was a side effect of her unique status. Little or no emotion for her, with an unstable (but intact) heart. But did sexual attraction count as an emotion? Who truly knew?
She found it hard to rip her eyes from... from this intriguing man. It was difficult to really take in all of the beautiful surrounding without passing an eye over him as well. Dear god, someone put a shirt on him, whoever he was. A deep breath stilled her mind briefly as she feigned interest in staring intently at the open water before her. The water shone brilliantly, lapping the coastline with the gentle stroke of a goddess, foam forming on the wet sand before sinking away. Xeras couldn't help but smile briefly. It was like the sky and the water melded at the infinite point far away, and it made Destiny Islands a picturesque place.

Oh my! What a post! *squeals*
Constantine fully enjoyed his surroundings, that was an exception of course to Xera's fixed eyes upon him. Her eyes were basically staring at him, continuing to make him feel extremely more exposed than he already was, as if he was an object of pleasure.
He wanted to shout to Xeraskterpe with all his might, "stop staring!" But he was a gentleman with manners and a good moral rather than a savage barbarian. But he wanted to make her stop staring somehow, it impressed him that he managed to get her fixed attention by just having a shirt absent, but he was not conceded enough to think of that as an advantage.
He threw his right hand behind him, attempting to reach for something in particular. His hand crawled through the sand, spraying particles in all sorts of direction. Finally getting flustered, he turned his head behind him and saw that his hand was nowhere near his gray zip up hoody. He snatched it from the sandy surface and brushed the particles of sand off from it to the best of his ability.
Not wasting a second further, he stood up and wore his hoody to cover his torso, yet he did not use the zipper to further cover himself. He was not an idiot, the temperature was simply far too hot to allow Constantine to bare with nature. He brushed his hands together to get rid of the sand crawling over his palm before he stroked his hair back again.
Then his eyes met Xeraskterpe again, he was immediately flustered by her sight. It seemed that she would not stop staring unless something interrupted her. Of course Constantine was not about to throw dust into her eyes, he was, after all, a gentleman.
"Hi," he said in a hollow voice as he extended his right hand out and waved silently. Constantine then placed both of his hands on his hips and smiled in a noble manner, waiting for his stalker's response.

((*squeals along*... what am I squealing for? XD))
Little Xeras (of course, little in comparison with this guy), raised an eyebrow in uncontrollable amusement as he jammed on a grey coat. Whew. That at least, made it easier to bear being around the male, even if he didn't zip it up. Only a lunatic would be stupid enough to wear something like that in this beach weather... wait a sec - and Xeras was wearing black? Okay, so maybe she wouldn't be the person to be saying that. At least her stuff was a light material and not skin-tight. Skin-tight? No way would she be able to even be near this guy if it was skin-tight, nevermind that she wasn't really busty anyway.
Oops, was her major thought as the guy caught her staring. If she was human, she would have blushed, but the Nobody inside her didn't let her. Curiosity was what it was, though it wouldn't kill Xeras because she wasn't a cat. Without much else to do, she raised her arm slowly in reply to the greeting, wiggling her hand awkwardly in a wave back. Okay, she would have to admit he was decent-looking. All right, all right. But no way in hell would Xeras actually be compatible with him with age difference. Why was it that every single good-looking guy was way out of poor Xeras's league? Hmm? What league?
His stance was a little baffling to her. Odd, really, she wouldn't expect a guy to do that after openly showing off his torso. Maybe he was... generous? No, not the right word. Nice? No, too simple to explain this guy's attitude. Awkward moment, awkward moment... Xeras wanted to move, perhaps farther or closer to this guy, just as long as she moved. Or maybe she was really shy on the inside and never knew? She wasn't outgoing, that was something for Ciryxbudeung, not her.
"Hi," she said softly, finally, before lowering her waving hand. The wind was nice enough to pick up her single syllable and carry it a little ways. Not used to being social, but this was just a single guy! Maybe it was the whole his-shirt-was-off thing.

*squeals!* I'm late!
Gods, Constantine is too friendly, he should be more of a mean prick than a trustworthy person with a warm aura. If he were more mean, he wouldn't have to meet strangers so often. But thank the Gods, she did not run away from Constantine, and instead waved back while saying a subtle "hi."
He literally had no idea what to do next, he never played such a teasing game with a complete stranger before. Despite his occasional self confidence, but this was an extremely difficult situation for him. Constantine never intentionally flirts with anyone at all, it makes him extremely awkward whenever he tries to push it.
Constantine choose to approach Xeras rather than stay under his parasol. He slowly walked towards her, walking casually and under a steady pace in stead of strutting or running. His feet smoothly slid on the sand's surface, the breeze blew across his sea-salt hair, and the sun couldn't strike a more heavier heat upon him.
Before he had noticed it, Constantine was already in front of her; not too far to be shy, no too close to be bold. Not knowing what to say he speculated it would be an easy thing to talk about the weather, there was not any harm with that and it was an easy conversation starter.
"Wow," Constantine said, "Is it just me or are you hot here?" Instantly realizing his mistake he gasped as he placed his hand over his mouth like a foolish school girl. "I-I didn't mean that," he tried to correct himself as his cheeks began to go rose. "I meant to hot since we're hot so we-" His mouth falling down a flight of stairs, Constantine slapped his right hand onto it and turned his head down to the sand dunes in regret of ever approaching. Now that he had opened his mouth, he wouldn't be surprised if Xeras classified him as a pedophile.

((^^ I don't mind, as long as you post! =D mine's kinda short though, sorry. >< ))
She flinched, staring at Constantine with quiet i-don't-know-what-the-heck-just-happened written all over her face. Flirting? Umm... sure. Not that she knew what it was, but this was certainly awkward enough to be classified as that. Embarrassment was something so obvious that it could have been scribbled into the man's forehead for extra measure. Xeras couldn't help it and giggled. Wait - giggled? She hadn't even laughed for years, and she giggles because a guy who looks older than her completely tripped over his own tongue and - yeah yeah, okay. She giggled.
"You're a head-turner yourself, sir," she said, the corners of her mouth turned in what could be a smile if you had bad eyesight and scrunched up your face a little. Xeras didn't smile a lot either. This was... an interesting occasion. Neither of them really seemed to know what they were doing, nor did they seem to be on the exact same playing field. Like, Xeras with no emotion and Constantine filled with embarrassment even though he was the one showing more skin? Right.
And yet, she was still unable to stop looking at him. Head-turner indeed...

Kueh~ You're so noice~
Oh Gods, they must have lent Athena's charm to guide Constantine because Xeras has yet to run away from him. It was particularly odd for him because he would not have reacted so kindly as Xeras has. It gave Constantine a signal that she was an extremely nice person, not to mention that cute smile. Constantine simply wanted to make her into a plush doll and hug her to death while laughing until he fainted. Of course he was not going to do that, he assumed that she was younger than him, he simply had to be a big brother or a father figure, or another lame role model.
His cheeks still infused with the color red, he was not going to lose that color off his face in a while. Constantine was always like this towards women he did not know, there was always awkward pauses, nervous chuckles, goosebumps, all those in combination makes the nerve-wrecked individual: Constantine.
"Well," he coughed as he turned back to Xeras, his bangs covering most of both his eyes. "First impressions are really my specialty," he quickly admitted as his both of his hands began to grow restless with their twitches. Constantine assumed that he was in the safe zone now, she had acknowledged his presence, there shouldn't be anything else he should be worried about; he should merely introduce himself and act casual.
"I'm Constantine," he placed his left hand on his chest, indicating himself. "Call me whatever you'd like, I know my name has too many syllabus in it." He looked at her, the wind swept his hair causing his eye to reveal itself in a fading motion. "I assume you have a name as well?"

((And you're so adorable! *glomps*))
This guy was charming, in a way. He had piqued her interest when he had managed to make her smile. Might as well keep up conversation. Constantine. What a beautiful name. It also had a sense of mystery around it, despite his dying social skills and floppy hair. His eyes were nice, she had to note. Xeras was definitely satisfied as far as appearance went. Or maybe it was the shirtless thing, and that he was still showing some of his muscled chest. Oddly enough, she wasn't the flirty type. Just winging it, just winging it.
"My name is lost to Darkness," she replied. "Just call me Xeraskterpe. Xeras, if you will." The girl stood, looking up to Constantine as she brushed the sand from her clothing, shaking her feet around as some nearly got into her shoe. She couldn't help herself and lifted one of her hands up to his face, patting it gently with a battle-worn touch. Xeras could feel the heat from his face, even in the constant battering of the sun upon them on the beach.
"You easily blush, Constantine-san," she obviously pointed out, giving him a kind smile as she withdrew her fingers from his cheek. It wouldn't be like her to easily shoot down a person's bad qualities in a situation like this. Despite being a Nobody... she was content. Peaceful with this strange man. He could very well be her... her... lost best friend? Yeah right, she never really had one. This could be the start of a good acquaintanceship. Maybe a friendship.

*glomps right back* *squeals while eating noodles!*
Xeras was still a stranger to Constantine, and yet he had already found her to be intimidating. It was not as if he was afraid of her in a sense, it was just a feeling, a pressure that squeezed his chest being up front of Xeras. Constantine always has ridiculous senses and feelings before, but never towards someone assumable younger than him; it occasionally occurs to his teachers, masters and elders.
Maybe it's the black, he thought to himself. He couldn't help himself but wonder why she was wearing such dark colors on such a hot and sunny day, Constantine quickly speculated that she was either fashion deprived or she was attempting to cook something in her attire, in a good way.
But Constantine couldn't help but find Xeras even more peculiar when she mentioned that he name was lost to 'darkness'. Whatever could that darkness represent? Constantine speculated that she had either suffered amnesia, multiple characters personas, or some other horrific traumatizing event that literally destroyed her character. Neah, that's pushing it a little too far. But whatever that 'darkness" was, it seemed that Xeras is quite an interesting person.
Xeras' hand touching Constantine didn't make him shiver at all, nor did it make him twitch, it simply made him blush even harder. Gosh, Constantine is such a girl, it's no wonder why his name could easily be a female's as well. He moved his sight below from Xeras' and placed his hands upon both his cheeks, attempting to hide the obvious blushing.
"You're not making it any easier," he complained as he closed his eyes. As much as it was embarrassing for him to blush, he found Xeras' straight forwardness to be flattering. Not many, well, many strangers have touched him before in less than a hour of their meeting, but Constantine has never been impacted like this before.
"I'm sorry," he turned back to her, his hair going against the breeze, his hoody following like a wave. "I'm not like this usually," he rubbed his eyes. "It's just the heat I guess." He chuckled as he removed his hands from his eyes, before it was covered again by his bangs.

((*laughs happily*))
A grin. Xeras nodded in what could only be an expression of further amusement, not caring if her actions would make his face end up in a permanent blush. Shy? He could be. But Constantine didn't really seem like he would be the type of person to be shy. This was, certainly, a special case with a special meeting that didn't quite fit into the normal routine of a person's life. Maybe the heat was getting to her, she wasn't social and wasn't that special. Wait - was she? Xeras had forgotten. Constantine... made her forget her worries with that awesomely childish personality.
B-bump.
It was only when she blinked at a blue sky did she realize she had fallen flat onto her back. What was that? And pain was shooting through the area of where her heart would be. That was odd. Xeras struggled to prop herself onto her elbows, a grimace on her lips and gritting her teeth together. A Nobody's heart was not supposed to function, it did not exist and it did not feel. But pain was something that she knew, though this wasn't the normal pain. Was it pain? Sand coated her hair like sprinkles, sticking to her face where small beads of sweat were forming in the moments of hurt. Fists clenched into the hot ground beneath her, Xeras didn't bother with feeling the sun's rays as they pierced the air. A Nobody's heart shouldn't function.
B-bump. B-bump
Heh. Ciryxbudeung. Was this what her friend had experienced when she mysteriously regenerated a real heart, but kept her Nobody-ness? Xeras was left with a heart. It just missed its contents. A dizzy feeling of her head as she slumped back to the sand, laying down feeling better than moving right now. Hang on, Constantine? Where was he? Xeras moved her head a little to the side and gave him a smile with her eyes. She'd always wanted a heart that worked... Even just a little. Why she knew?
A sense of pleased contentness.
"Constantine," she murmured, looking at his seemingly purple eyes with her own drab grey ones. "You are not a Nobody, are you?"

Constantine clearly saw Xeras health failing or what not. It was extremely strange, it was as if she was striked down by something, an invisible force. His rose colored cheeks began to decrease as he began to express his concern towards Xeras.
Despite saying anything at all, he turned and lowered his head towards Xeras, trying to catch her current facial expression. Not depending on his magic to do anything at all, he stood in front of her like a bystander until she asked him that strange question:
"You are not a Nobody, are you?"
Constantine did not know how to respond to Xeras question, he was not hesitating in answering her, it was just that he did not know how to answer it. A Nobody, Constantine did not know the definition to that at all. He had thought the question was as if he was popular or not, his view point on the question was staggeringly different towards Xeras'.
"Well," he placed his hand on his chin like a thinking man. "I guess I'm pretty popular, I mean, I think everyone just knows who I am in Asia." Constantine giggled and placed his hand on Xeras shoulder. "But I think it would be nice to be a nobody once in a while, I wouldn't have to deal with so many people or care that much." He smiled and looked eye to eye with Xeras. "But it is nice to be a somebody, everyone cares about you and you know it because you feel it. But you have to be careful though, because nobodies and somebodies have hearts, and they can be both good or evil."
The wind blew across his face once again, sending his body into a shiver, which immediately broke from his speech and laughed. "It sounds like I'm full of myself huh?" He scratched his itch on his head and asked, "why are you so interested?"
But before he allowed Xeras to answer, he tugged on her hand and placed it on his chest to allow her to listen to the beat of his heart. "I'm pretty sure I have a good heart, but do you think the same?"

She nodded, feeling a strong beat within Constantine's chest. Jeez, that wasn't fair. Instead of answering the man's hanging question, she left it alone and tilted her head to the side before scrambling back up to her feet, not bothering to brush the sand off this time. Too much of the golden stuff lying around and all over her body, might as well leave it there. Xeras thought. A somebody, as opposed to being a nobody...
"You're not blushing anymore," she stated almost in a teasing manner, though her face was all innocence (well, as best as she unintentionally could). Dismissing the fact that she was abruptly changing subject, the girl might as well try to get to know Constantine, this weird guy with a mirth that rivaled that of a star. Who was he, really? And how did he get that beautiful name of his? Heh. A head-turner indeed. Xeras's hand burned where he had touched it, but not in a bad way. It was... fuzzy inside. Like his joyfulness was contagious or something, just as his good looks were terribly hard to not stare at for long periods of time.
"You have beautiful eyes."

Constantine really did find her to be so humble and nice for a stranger. That kind and mysterious feelings radiating from Xeras certainly made Constantine fascinated towards her. She had an alarming sweetness to him that he simply wanted to squeeze her like a teddy bear, or kidnap her all together.
The moment Xeras told Constantine that he had beautiful eyes, his heart and brain literally told him to blush. As this ridiculous way of responding wasn't controlled by Constantine, he wished he was more inhuman to show a little bit less of emotion due to this factor.
Everything coming out of Xeras' mouth was too flattering, too flattering for Constantine of course. He didn't really know what to say about Xeras' objective towards him. Constantine was certain that she was not flirting with him; it seemed that she was simply stating the obvious perhaps?
"Awh," Constantine scratched his scalp of his head in an annoyed manner. "Geez," he mumbled as his hair masked his face once more as he extended his right hand out and rubbed Xeras' head. "What are you trying to do? You want me to take you home?" He laughed as he covered his mouth with his left hand as his right hand withdrew from Xeras' head.
His cheeks were now red again, and the only thing triggering their redness is simply Xeras' way of talking. "You're too sweet y'know that?" Constantine couldn't help but continuously laughing. "Xeras," he stopped trying to catch a breath of air. "You just want me to eat you up don't you?"

((*squeal* Ephy-san, Ephy-san, you can take me home!!! >> *watches mature rating bar go up on this thread* ...))
Xeras shuffled about, a little uneasy with the ruffling of the hair but appearing to enjoy her limited attention. Sweet? That was the last thing anyone that met her would say. Vicious, or icy, some would say. She didn't mind. A little kindness never hurt anyone. Not to mention she managed to get Constantine to blush again, his purple eyes bright from his mane of hair. He was just the right height for her, only about six inches taller and easy to talk to without having to crane her head up to look at him. A humble mmm was soft as she thought.
"Taking me home with you would be nice," she commented, choosing to not touch over the subject that he called her sweet. "A roof over my head is more than welcome. But, Constantine-san, eating me may not be the best choice. Are you really that hungry?" A small smile crossed her face, and it gave no room to decide whether or not she was talking about "hungry" as in "food" or "hungry" as in something else. Xeras stood innocently, putting her hands behind her back and clasping them as she rocked back and forth. A little uncomfortable with looking at the man's eyes too long, she tried to concentrate on the ocean, like she was struggling to not grow fond of him. A tight-lipped pout would confirm that, and she licked her suddenly dry lips. The purple was so deep and pretty, it's a wonder that she didn't just fall and fall into the depths of violet. Soothing while oddly intense. And more, Xeras was enjoying being near Constantine, if you ignore the fact that she was a little worried about getting to know him. Her thoughts wandered while they could before her companion's velvety voice spoke again. At least he's cute.

Constantine couldn't help but to chuckle at Xeras' response to his words previously. There was a relieve that she did not understand what he said previously, there was not going to be such odd tensions between present. He was glad that Xeras represented innocence, unlike himself.
As he was about to utter words from his mouth, Constantine was unable to speak a word. He always spoke in very adult fashion with other people, constantly familiar to the mature tone that influenced him throughout his teenage years.
He was unaware how to treat someone that was, still presumably, younger to Constantine. She was not too young to be treated like a child, but she was not old enough to be treated like an adult.
"Hey," he said, "you didn't understand a single thing I said right?" Constantine giggled, trying to restrain his arms from unleashing a monstrous bear hug upon the innocent Xeras. "It's a good thing you don't understand I guess," he scratched his head as he readjusted his hoody.
Despite the fact that he really liked Xeras, he could not like her to an "extreme" level. It was extremely unfortunate that Xeras was a very young person for him, or Constantine was too old, either the matter, the age difference was an interference, and it was best to acknowledge it.
"So tell me something Xeras," he quickly said. "It looks like to me that you aren't gonna swim today in all that clothing." He turned his head and looked at Xeras closely, "mind telling me the reason?"

She gave an enigmatic nod to Constantine. Xeras understood, all right, but wasn't going to flaunt it at any time. Content with what was happening at the moment, she took the time to shake a little bit of the sand from her hair. So... not that she could really start a relationship with this guy, but she would be happy to be friends. So be it, she'd say something about that later. No way was she going to let this guy go, he was too darned cute. Not to mention that his figure was a total bonus.
"Umm... I was here to visit someone, but you caught my eye instead," Xeras mumbled, almost shyly when she admitted her distraction and looked down at her feet. Well... her feet were hard to stare at in comparison with Constantine's purple-y eyes. She too, enjoyed the man's company, not going to tell him that she was young only in her own years but rather aged in "normal" years. Had she ever gotten a partner? No, of course not. Too young, duh. Good friends? Some. Few. Okay, rarely.
"I-I mean," she added hastily. "You, erm, looked like you were enjoying yourself, but I feel that being alone is not always fun when you're hot." Oopy doopy. Her normally serious personality was truly shattered by now, and she was paying attention more to not staring rather than knowing she screwed up her words. Xeras kept her eyes wandering, avoiding looking at Constantine for fear of burning something in her gaze into his forehead. Head-turner indeed...
Xeras pursed her lips gently, not wanting to be embarrassed and awkward, but feeling so anyways. A blush began to creep up her neck, and the girl willed it to stop, though it surged forwards into her cheeks. Sunburned look? No, not really. It was shaded enough to not be considered as something so simple. Just embarrassed. An idea tugged at her, though she didn't voice it.
