(Struggle Away ~ KH RE: CoM Soundtrack. I feel it sets the mood for me, lol.)
There is a demon inside of me, of that much I'm certain. That very thing I was crafted into... the ultimate dark being... it dwells within me, waiting to consume everything within me, leaving me without anything... That fearsome beast tempts me with every breath, every thought, every action; it's putting me to the test, and waiting to take over.
How the fearsome dragon of the damned came to be within me through all of the twisted experiments, I still don't understand. Is it the manifestation of the darkness within me? Or is it something... more? Stranger still, how could a cursed warrior such as myself be chosen by the keys? Part of it was my desire to avenge my sister, while another part was a desire to repent... but was there more to it?
Also, what was the strange, hollow feeling within me? Is it even a part of me? What are the strange dreams that plague my resting mind? What are the odd memories I get when I'm with my fellow Organization Twilight members? I have to know. That's why I'm here.
These were the thoughts of the young keybearer, Arkyron, as he ascended the steps of the old castle in Hollow Bastion, also known as Villain's Vale. Step by step, the cloaked youth set a marathon-like pace, never ceasing for an instant. Finally, reaching the inside, the keybearer looked around, his cloak concealing his features.
Beneath the long cloak, Arkyron wore a green shirt and black jeans. The hood of the cloak, specially designed by Aras of Organization Twilight, concealed the keybearer's long, dark blond hair, calculating brown eyes, and face. A Dark Ball appeared before the youth, as if to defy him, but it was quickly struck down by a blast of dark energy.
Still proceeding, Arkyron quickly found himself in the ballroom; the very room in which Sora and Riku had had their first of two great battles in this place. To his left was the library, and straight ahead was a hallway. Above him was a large chandalier, covered in massive crystals. The library held great knowledge, but that wasn't what the keybearer had come for. No, Arkyron had come seeking something far different.
Proceeding through the hallway, Arkyron came to a strange lift stop. Examining the strange mechanism, he activated a switch that summoned a platform. Interesting... but that wasn't where he was heading. Ignoring his new discovery, as fascinating as it was, he proceeded outside to another staircase. As the youth ascended this staircase as well, he came to another strange lift stop. The keybearer needed to head east, but he was facing south, with no way to go. Then Arkyron spotted a strange switch like the one from earlier.
A black static ran through the keybearer's right hand as Fate's Crossing appeared in his right hand. The blade was long and slender, designed for offense. In its epicenter was a green gem, and the tip ended in a strange but interesting design, intricately wound about. As Arkyron tapped the switch with the weapon, another life materialized like the one before, but this one was much bigger, and ended in a demon-horn like shape at the top. Without hesitance, the youth stepped aboard.
As the lift came to a stop, Arkyron stepped off and ascended yet another flight of stairs before coming to another hallway. At the end lay a strange chapel. This was where Sora and friends had fought Maleficent all that time ago. Strange designs patterned the walls, and gothic decor lay about, giving the place a strange feel. Arkyron was nearing his destination, of that much he was sure.
