About the Character
Character Personality (Please give an in depth description of your character’s personality):
Critias is.... cold, to say the least. He rarely if ever speaks, preferring instead gestures. When he looks at a person, he instinctively calculates what a person is going to do based on their muscle movements that he can track with his sight and hearing, and can also see their emotions from even hints of their body language. His countless years of hunting and being hunted by beasts have given him this ability. The person he's looking at will probably feel frightened by his intense (albeit unintentional) gaze.
Also, years upon years of living by himself have degraded his social ability. As stated above, he doesn't like to speak, so it's rather difficult to hold a conversation with him. And when he does, it's short, blunt, and to the point as if he just wants the talking part to be done with as soon as possible. Sure, he speaks perfectly fine and in fluent English, but he just isn't used to talking.
Not to mention, Critias is a loner - a big one. He hates being in crowds or noisy areas, as it clogs up his senses and makes him paranoid and uncomfortable - instincts he had long developed to survive on his savage world. And not to mention, he more or less relies only on himself. He himself doesn't know whether he would mind or not having friends - he constantly debates with himself about having them, mainly because... well, he doesn't have any.
The main thing about Critias is his intelligence. He has all the hunting instincts and prowess of a beast, and the intelligence of a superb sentient scientist. Just because one knows he's been living in the wild for heaven-knows-how-long doesn't mean he's not cultured or stupid. Quite the opposite. Underestimate him at your peril.
However, Critias is very dedicated, especially to his goal - that is, to rid the universe of magic users, whom he believes that used the powers of magic - the power that his people created - to devastate and ruin this universe. He may be one man, but he's immortal and powerful. And he is patient.
Character Appearance (Please include such things as height, hair color, eye color, body type, clothing, weight, etc. You need to actually write a description. You may include a picture for reference):
Critias stands at about 5' 9". Caucasian, somewhere in his twenties seemingly, with somewhat short black hair and black eyes so deep, they seem to be dark holes of some sort. He has a very powerful, thin, lean figure, granted to him by years of hunting. His body itself is covered in numerous scars, and there's one scar that runs down his right cheek to his neck. His expression is always dead serious, his lips always set in a hard line. It's clear that this is a man who has faced many, many hardships.
As for clothes, Critias wears a sleeveless dark green shirt, with camoflauge pants and army boots. He wears these clothes mainly because he instinctively feels comfortable with them - and that they would help him blend in forest/jungle environments, where he often spends the most time back on his homeworld. Not to mention, they allow him to move rather comfortably.
However, in combat, Critias dons on his armor, which seeps from his flesh to cover him. When he wears his armor, it's a featureless silver armor that covers him from head to toe. There are no rivets, or any places where it looks like it was joined. In fact, it's completely smooth, like someone had poured liquid silver (or mercury?) on him. A black, lusterless visor that covers his face is all that breaks the silver armor, as well as holes on the backs of his hands and forearm for his blades and shield.
Character Hobbies/Activities (Optional Field):
Battle Statistics
Character Position (Hero/Neutral/Villain): Neutral
Character Abilities (Maximum of 15 abilities allowed - please write your abilities in list form, starting with name & then description):
Inhuman Strength (Passive) - Countless years of combatting unnatural beasts have given Critias strength far, far beyond that of any mortal man. As such, punching and crushing boulders he can do easily.
Inhuman Agility (Passive) - Again, years upon years of surviving against beasts much faster than any normal being have granted him agility that few others can match. He can easily run as fast as a cheetah as top speed, maybe even a bit more.
Beastlike Senses (Passive) - You can't expect a person to live for eons in the wild without becoming something like a beast physically. As it is, all of Critias' senses have been honed to the point where ambushing him is impossible, as he can detect killing intent quite easily, and he can notice and point out things many others would miss.
Magic Beast Martial Arts (Not an ability) - Well, that's probably what we would call it. Critias himself doesn't have a name for it, but he can use magic of nearly every element thanks to the conduits built into himself and his armor. And with his observations of the many magical beasts he's come across, he's developed his own martial arts style based on the more ferocious of beasts of many elements. These are some of his more powerful abilities in this martial art.
Spellbreaker (Passive) - Arguably Critias' most powerful ability. His energy blades and shields are imbued with a special technology that causes anything that requires magical energy to dissipate. Meaning, anything that uses magic is dispelled once it hits his blades or shields. His bolts have the same ability, to a lesser degree, but the more magic energy it penetrates, the faster it dissipates, so a very, VERY thick layer of magic energy could possibly render the bolts useless.
Moogle Shop Purchased Abilities (If you have purchased abilities from the moogle shop, please list them here):

Character Weapons (Maximum of 5 weapons allowed members must have 200 posts before their characters may wield a keyblade):
Energy Blades - Coming from the backs of his hands are energy blades, about three feet long and glowing with a harsh orange light. They have the ability to melt through anything, save other energy/laser blades, and magically enhanced weapons. However, given enough time, Spellbreaker can break through the enchantments and damage magically enchanted weapons - given time (and an RPer's permission).
Energy Shields - Issuing from the backs of his forarms are energy shields, also glowing a harsh orange light like his blades. The shields' sizes and shapes can be manipulated at will. Normally,
Critias keeps them at a round buckler size, but if necessary, he can also transform them so that they become large enough to cover his whole body and rectangular, aka a tower shield. Like the energy blades, the shields can also cut through things, making them a useful secondary weapon. They can last for five posts before they have to recharge for two posts.
Energy Bolts - Again coming from the back of his hand, Critias forms a sort of energy crossbow - again, glowing the same orange light. It can rapidly fire bolts of energy that has just as much piercing ability has his shields or blades. The bolts are very thin and narrow, and only go straight forward, so dodging them should be relatively easy... except the fact that the bolts are fast and it's rapidfire. The bolts dissipate after a second or two, but that's more than enough time to pierce through someone - or more.
Silver Armor - Normally, this wouldn't count as a weapon, but the armor is much, much more than simple armor. It is permanently bonded to Critias's cells, which is why it seeps out from his skin to form. It can shift between liquid form and solid form just in case. It's next to weightless, allowing Critias to use his full agility as he wishes. Imbued into Critias's armor and Critias himself are many magic conduits, allowing him to use magic of nearly every element. Also, Critias's armor is strong and tough, but somewhat thin, unlike those of his homeworld if they had survived, so a skillful blow can get through the armor. But he had on purpose sacrificed thickness and hardness for three reasons: One, so he can again use his full agility. Two: to give his armor the technology to regenerate. Therefore, if someone cuts through that armor, after a second or two, the armor regenerates good as new. And three: As stated above, to have the armor bonded to his cells so he can summon it as needed.

Character History (Minimum of 10 sentences required proper grammar & punctuation required):
A long, long, long time ago, Critias was a nobody. Just a hunter in a village who, as his profession tells, hunted for food and for a living. It was a hard, but simple life, and Critias never complained. However, he was also part of a supremely advanced civilization that up until now, no world or anywhere or anything else has manged to even come close. The top scientists of that world brought their technology together, and created a core of power so strong, the power flowed and leaked through the universe. That power is now being used in modern days as what we know as 'magic'.
However, with such an artifact and power, many, many things began going horribly wrong. People began warring each other cruelly for possession of the core. Critias' village was destroyed - himself only surviving because he was out in the jungles hunting at the time. Their methods of war grew as they learned how to utilize the power, become ever more and more destructive. With frightening speed, the civilization crumbled inward on itself, its knowledge and wisdom lost nearly overnight, and what survivors remained were preyed on by the beasts that slowly grew more powerful and ferocious as they absorbed the powerful magic that the artifact still leaked.
Critias himself was lucky. He had survived because all his life, he had hunted beasts and stayed away from any battles. The magic settled within his body, rendering him ageless. His battles with the local fauna, and eventually flora, were getting harder and harder, and he knew that eventually, unless he did something, he would die. He made his way to the crumbling capital of the once great civilization, where nature was already reclaiming much of it. He discovered what he could, when he could, but he was a simple hunter, and so his learning was arduous and long. Eventually, he crafted his armor, then his blades and shields and crossbow, and finally, his ultimate weapon: Spellbreaker. He constantly upgraded them so that they were better and stronger, which they had to be in order to combat the beasts who were constantly evolving and absorbing the residual potent magics that lingered on the world.
Eventually, Critias learned how to create portals, and learning records of a distant world, he created a portal and left that world. He sees now that magic has spread to nearly every corner of the universe, and could feel the repeat of what had happened to his world coming on, only at a much larger scale. He could not destroy the artifact - doing such a thing would have diastrous consequences on the entire universe, but he could kill those that used magic. And so, he set out on his mission - to destroy all that use magic, and hopefully, make such an art into nothing more than a myth and legend: One that would never reappear again.

And with his observations of the many magical beasts he's come across, he's developed his own martial arts style based on the more ferocious of beasts of many elements. These are some of his more powerful abilities in this martial art.
- Lightning Sting - A move taken from watching and fighting certain birds of prey imbued with the power of lightning, Critias dashes forward with incredible speed, his energy blade or hand radiating lightning, then as he comes to a stop, spinning with his other energy blade that's also imbued with lightning to prevent any counterattacks or following up with a secondary attack. It can be dodged by moving to the side, but blocking is extremely unwise due to the momentum of the move. Two post cooldown.
- Flame Cloak - An ability he had learned from a draconic being that constantly protected itself by emitting a fiery aura. Critias sets himself and his weapons with fire intense enough that the things within his immediate area start melting. Lasts for three posts, three post cooldown.
- Water Jet - Something he had observed from a water beast when it fought on land. Pointing his blade or fist at his target, he launches an extremely high pressure stream of water. If this doesn't sound lethal, the force of this water can gouge stone even at a range of twenty meters. The stream of water is thin and fires straight ahead so it can be dodged, but blocking it isn't recommended. Three post cooldown.
- Earthen Guard - A very useful ability he learned from an underground creature when it fought against a dragon. He crouches down, so his stance wouldn't be disturbed, and huddles in. Then he draws power from the ground into himself, becoming almost like part of the planet itself. Because of hte nature of the power, he's rendered utterly immobile, but he can still think, and for one post, he's invulnerable. Perfect for guarding against extremly powerful attacks. Four post cooldown.
- Reaper's Wind - Critias learned this one from a creature of the winds. He flaps his arms like a giant bird flapping up a gust of wind - which is what he does. He creates a huge gust of wind that speeds toward his opponents, and anyone who resists being blown away will be cut up by the blades of wind within the gust. The blades are as strong as his normal sword slashes, which is to say, quite formideable. It covers a large amount of area so it's a bit hard to dodge, but it can be blocked if one can see the blades of wind. Four post cooldown.
- Icy Orb - This one he learned from an ape-like creature that lived in the arctic climates. His blades become covered in ice (yes, I know that violates the laws of physics utterly, please don't ask me how that works) and he jumps up and starts rolling vertically toward his opponent, sending a barrage of razor-sharp icicles. Once he lands, he slashes powerfully downward, causing huge spikes of ice to fan out in front of him in a semi-circle. Dodgeable if one is quick enough. Three post cooldown.
- Blinding Light - He learned this one from a cunningly developed predator. Forming an orb of light, he then make it explode, causing a harmless but blinding flash of light. It is often enough to disorient any of his targets or opponents - enough time for Critias to make his move. Two post cooldown.
- Shadow Strike - Yet another move he learned, this time from a predator that could kill those larger than itself with this move. Critias cloaks himself in shadow, becoming invisible anf muffled, then strikes where his opponent least expects, or using it to retreat. One post duration, three post cooldown.
