[OOC: Welp, you've successfully made the situation impossible for JeY to ignore~]
The sudden shift in the amount of energy centered around Michal and the girl alerted JeY's rather sensitive attention. Killing mindless drones by the hundreds was a bit mundane, but anything to 'help out' so to speak. He felt he did a good number and was starting to yearn for a bit better action, to which he might've gotten what he desired. The flux of darkness sprung him to warp nearby, far enough to not get immediately noticed by anyone but close enough to get a close-up of what exactly was going on there.
Sure enough, a heartless akin to a munchkin Darkside showed up. JeY was honestly surprised he remembered their name at all. He flew in a bit closer, only to discover he was a bit too late in shielding Izzy from an attack strong enough to put her flat on the ground with a hole in her shirt. Oops. Maybe he should really care more about their safety than just trusting them being fine on their own. Not that he had to babysit at a guardian angel level, but just be more... weary? Eh, forget it, she wasn't dead and this would be a great opportunity to force Michal to use some restoration magic.
Rather than a warp, the chaotic man darted in at high speeds and attempted to deliver a furious kick unto the Heartless, powerful enough to knock him straight off the tower for sure. Whether or not it was successful, he would recoil back with a flip and position himself near Michal. "Good time to practice restoration, which yes, you are capable of. Focus on the light energies, concentrate your desires on restoring soul from the inside out. Feel the other's energy, and give it a breath of life." He said, focusing on the Heartless to intercept any possible attacks with Create energy should their little Healing 101 get interrupted.

"Oh heck no." Michal's eyes flared black, in a manner slightly frightening, to be honest. He charged the other man, keyblades at either side. "Oh HECK no." And then JeY happened. Looks like there would be no rage induced beatdowns. Yet. Michal took a deep breath, and the dark aura dispelled. "Light. Right. Calm. Warm. Not wanting to kill stuff." He sighed and his hands glowed white. Tendrils of energy flowed into Izzy, and he could feel where they touched, in a strange way. As if he was seeing her energy rather than her body. The skin was scarred, yes, but at its core the injury was almost like an impurity. It shouldn't belong in her. The white wisps surrounded the burnt skin, draining it of the damage and turning the white energy black. Then he absorbed the black energy back into himself. Her injury was gone, though the cloth he couldn't do anything about. Clothing wasn't exactly alive.
Now back to his regularly scheduled beatdown. Turning to the roof edge where the heartless man-thing had fallen, Michal let the energy flow. He could feel the anger in his chest. The darkness that wanted to rip the man limb from limb. But he was better than that. He had control. Strength through restraint. A silent rage, a controlled blaze. Precise and focused, and more deadly than a rampage.
Though his body was still, relaxed almost, light and darkness flooded from him in an overwhelming aura. He was poised and ready for the moment that thing showed itself.
He- it- would regret hurting her.

Izzy was crying, then the pain vanished. She shook her head and got onto her knees. She sighed softly, then just ripped away the ruined shirt. Luckily, she always wore a bra. Not that it was exactly... Oh screw the euphemism, it was a sexy orange lace bra and as her tattered shirt fell apart, she rolled her wings and turned. "Th - "
Michal looked pissed.
The creature was airborne again. it fired another hail of fire at the heroes, paying special attention to Michal and JeY. Izzy was busy taking cover, still recovering from the attack. The Heartless' orb assault was intensified, and it just refused to stop firing.

[OOC: A fight scene? Without BGM!? NOT WHILE I'M AROUND!] This kid was awful cute, JeY would give him that, but he was still a bit young. He managed his powers like a champion though, invoking the healing strategy like he was born with the capability and practiced it all of his life. He learned quick, and that was rather admirable. He turned pretty dark rather quick however once he was finished with the task, but he couldn't blame him. Seems like JeY would have to back off even if slightly, if Michal had the satisfaction of taking this victory for himself it would probably do wonders. Sure enough, their enemy reappeared and tried that whole volley of dark shots thing again, except this time they were prepared. Each and every orb of darkness however was met by a timely bolt of shadow energy. JeY stood on the rooftop, only moving his arms to pump out his shadow energy, focusing on making sure the attack was completely nullified. "Hey, this is your show. I've got his flashy light show covered, you go up there and give him hell, alright?" JeY said. Mitigating the monster's attack was no issue at all, it was now up to the boy to deliver the real punishment.

Flying. Michal made a mental note to learn how to fly. He was starting to grasp exactly how much power he had here, and flight didn't really seem out of the question.
For now, though, he focused on the fight. Shadow balls fell from the sky, but each was neutralized by a shadowy blast before it got near him. JeY had him covered almost perfectly. And the heartless-man was wide open while firing all these projectiles.
Drawing back, he slashed hard at the man's face. The man reached up, eyes flaring, and grabbed the blade with his bare hand. Michal sliced up with the other blade, and the man caught it too- shortly after an arc of light shot from the tip, hitting him full in the face and exploding with light energy. The heartless-man reeled back in midair, still maintaining his grip on the keyblades but falling toward the ground. Michal dropped both keyblades and punched the man full in the face, then promptly grabbed him by the head, swept his legs out from under him as he fell, and slammed his head into the ground. Radiance vanished from the heartless's grip and appeared back in Michal's hands. Holding it two-handed, he turned the tip down at the body and stabbed it directly into the man's heart. Light flowed from it into the man's body, clearing his eyes and purging the blackness.
Curiously, the remaining darkness flowed away from the man and into consumption, causing the blade to glow with darkness, as if a blacklight or something similar.
And just like that, it was over. The heartless-man was just a man now. And an unconscious one at that. Michal took a moment to catch his breath and release the energy flowing around him. He was exhausted. Perhaps he'd used too much energy in his rage. Perhaps he... he...
Michal fell forward, the energy fading around him, onto one knee. He was suddenly very tired. His body was lead. He just needed to... to lay down a bit. Was the darkness consuming him? He hoped not. He couldn't see. Hopefully JeY and Izzy could finish without him.
A door appeared behind the fallen heartless, emblazed with a crown on the front. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Michal was floating in a void. He couldn't move, couldn't see. It was too dark. The only thing he could see was his own body, which seemed to be glowing faintly. Then he saw two more things. Both were spherical. One radiated so much light that it was blinding. The other was somehow darker than even the void around him. Both floated to him, and without hesitation, inside him. He felt power surge in him. This was Xandiel; he knew it.
Then something curious happened. Another light, different from the last, floated out of his chest. This one was softer, warmer. Not quite as bright, perhaps, but it was light nonetheless. It floated a short distance away and began to change. It formed into a person, slowly growing arms and legs and a face. It was a boy, much like himself, but with blonde hair and blue eyes. "Hello, Michal."
He found himself able to talk. "Hey. Who are you?"
"You really don't remember, do you?" The boy smiled. "We used to be so close, you know. Best friends. Almost brothers."
"You didn't answer my question."
"My name, you mean. It's Gabe. You'll remember in time. It's the nature of the castle."
"But why-"
"I don't have much time here. But you'll meet me soon enough. Just follow your hearts. Even if they aren't your own. I'm at the very top, Michal. Keep going."
"Are you Xandiel?"
"No. I'm more real. You'll understand in time, I promise. I'll help you understand. As long as you promise to find me."
"I..."
"Promise me, Michal. I'm so alone here..."
This was so strange. Was it even real? Could it hurt to promise?
"I promise."
"Good. I'll see you soon." Gabe snapped his fingers and vanished.

"...God damn it, why now." JeY looked over at the boy who began to slump over, after putting on a vibrant display of power. He was a natural, JeY could see why he was chosen as his next heir. The chaotic man silently wondered when the internal conscious would melt away and Michal would be the true successor, becoming ethereal akin to how Xandiel was. It was funny, how Chaos was helping out Order at this point, especially given the preceding situation. Perhaps it was Xandiel's time to perish, or this was to be the new purpose after his previous one was lost, and needed a little... 'help'.
Whatever the case, JeY wasn't about to let the boy get away with a cat nap after what was definitely a short fight, or what definitely could've been a much, much longer fight. He jogged lightly to his spot, conserving his shadows for the time being. He leaned down and shook the boy. "Michal. Stop." No nice. JeY stood up, having a flash of yellow light envelop the boy with a powerful healing ray. One of his strongest rejuvenation techniques, and no reply. Something was amiss here, but they couldn't afford to waste time.
There was still more to do. JeY looked over at Izzy and shouted to the girl. "Hey! Can you walk? We're going. If you can't, I'm carrying you, and you don't have a choice." If she could walk, he would wait up for him while he picked up Michal and hiked him up over his shoulder. If she couldn't, JeY would walk over and pick her up in a similar fashion but first, grabbing Michal on the way out, stepping through the gate with the crown. "I'm getting too old for this," he said, quite a fascinating statement considering how he appeared only barely older than the two he accompanied.

Seconds after Gabe vanished, Michal felt... Released. As if his body suddenly had permission to wake up. The room faded and blurred to black... Then the black to white as his eyes opened. He was moving. What had passed while he was unconscious?
They were back in the castle, he gathered. If they had ever left. The walls were white again, though, like the entry hall. Except now, rather than an entry to the castle, Izzy's world lay behind them through the door.
Moving enough to be noticed, Michal wormed his way off of JeY's shoulder, standing on his own two feet. Somehow he felt stronger than ever, possibly a result of the healing spell he wasn't aware he'd received.
Then he noticed Izzy, still unconscious. "I... I thought I healed her. Is she alright?" He yawned, seemingly still sleepy. "Oh! The... The guy..." He couldn't remember. Something really important dug at his mind. "Ugh, he was in my dream... I think? It was like... Gah, I really can't remember." A headache started to dig into his skull. "I have to find him. I think he's here."

All was well and good in the world traversing this glorious castle until a certain someone woke up and caused a huge stir. First, he pried himself away while causing JeY to stop walking, then made some commotion about Izzy being okay, and then tried to talk about memories or some sort of dream. It seemed like he went through quite a lot while unconscious, brimming with energy and unable to keep his mind on track. JeY simply narrowed his eyes, definitely not a finer moment for the boy. But, maybe this dream held some ital information, especially since it pertained to someone being here. Which, while unlikely, there was still a good reason they were here.
"Alright, slow down. One thing at a time. First, Izzy is fine. You revitalized her sprit, no her consciousness. When she wakes up, she'll be as healthy as ever, but you're just going to have to be patient since the body works a lot different than spirit. Next, a dream? Finding someone? You're going to have to elaborate if we're going to make any progress here." Perhaps the boy wouldn't be able to recall much, seeing as he strained himself to think of it in the first place, but any additional details he managed to muster would be far better than none at all and leaving his current cryptic statement just as jumbled.
Although, something didn't really sit right with JeY either. It seemed a bit uncalled for, what just happened. Who dared contact the boy in his sleep and then not reveal himself? Why make the message so foggy; that is, if the dream wasn't just a benign vision? JeY chose to believe him due to the circumstances since typically he would've called him off as just insane or seeing things, but Michal wasn't the type to just... make this up. There was some greater purpose to this, but that alone was unsettling. What was being planned by this person they had to find?

Izzy sat up, rubbing her eyes. She groaned. "I've had some bad days, but this has to be one of the bad ones." The fairy said. Standing with some measure of difficulty. She held her head, and then saw Michal...the white. "It wrked? We made it?" The girl asked softly, her wings slipping around to cover her body. Her shirt had been tattered and her skin was show. Healthy hue and all, she stumbled towards Michal. "S...sorry...I really was useless that fight, wasn't I?" she lamely joked.

"Alright, I'll-" Well, he would have waited, but that didn't seem necessary. Izzy sat up, apparently awake already. "Hey, you got caught off guard. Don't worry, we got him." Michal walked over and hugged her, letting go and turning away only at a sound behind him. A dark corridor tore open the air with its trademark swoosh, and the dream boy stepped through.
Gabe took a few steps forward, spear at his side. "Did you really forget again already? Right after you were reminded? Pathetic, Mikie." Gabe walked casually toward the group, a notepad in one hand and spear in the other. "At least you're toughening up, though. One down, two to go."
With a flourish, the boy ripped a page from his notepad and read aloud. "JeY and Fi engaged in combat and epic combat it was. They seemed equally matched in their abilities, until they began performing the totally impossible. It was when JeY converted himself into a presence of light and threatened to consume the entire plane, and Xaavfiear was able to perform the high-grade plane of shadows - the Yelbix." Then he tossed the page to the door. It transformed into light and flew into the next door, coloring it in the same manner as the first door, but now representing JeY's memories.
"Enough with the dramatics. You never answered. Who are you?"
"I'd hate to spoil the surprise, Mikie. For now, I'm just someone in your way. I care about you too much to let you into that guy's memories if you're not strong enough." Gabe wiggled his finger at Jey, then grasped his spear with both hands. It was a simple weapon, a long black shaft with a white leaf-shaped blade. He had tucked the notebook away somewhere in the meantime, and black and white energies pulsed out from him, tossing his blonde hair in the waves of power. "Prove me wrong. Let's see your mad skillz, keyblade master."

Well, the girl was up now. Just when JeY thought they would be out one distraction for a while, the girl regained consciousness and began to inject her voice into the situation. Just what he didn't want. Oh well, if it made the kid happier there was that, but these kinds of opportunities were give and take more than anything. There was a lot more give on his end here, but he could deal with it. This was a fairly minor issue.
What came next was totally uncalled for. Without warning, a made made his presence through a corridor wielding a spear, but there didn't seem to be any immediate threat - he just claimed that 'Mikie' had already forgot about him. That explains a lot, but why didn't this guy just show up in the first place instead of messing with the boy's head? JeY already didn't like this newcomer, and if he was going to be any more obtrusive, JeY would probably use a bit of force to remove him, and best of all, without warning.
However it might be wise to wait on that first, once he started reading what was on his little notepad, JeY narrowed his eyes. One does not simply 'know' that little fact. In fact, it's completely impossible for anyone to know, two combatants mentioned in the story were literally the only two souls present in that entire plane of existence at the time. JeY was actually a bit angry, this man was not only unnecessarily forward he was also intrusive. The chaotic man wanted to raise his voice in protest, but that would have to wait for now. Michael beat him to the punch for striking up a conversation.
Of course, when the new guy explained the bit about memories, JeY happened to remember where he was. Even worse, he remembered about the doppelganger out front. Well, maybe it made a little more sense, but JeY was still very unhappy. And, worst of all, they had to enter JeY's memories? One, how was that going to be possible, and two, what was the point? Now there would be nothing to stop JeY from expressing his opinion.
"Just a minute, squeedgie boy, but I think you're quite possibly overstepping your bounds." JeY stepped in front of the line putting himself in a dominant position and crossed his arms. He intended to wring this joker by his neck. "One, the fact you so carelessly stated should be beyond any capable method of acquiring knowledge. Two, there is absolutely no point for Michal to delve inside my own history whatsoever. If you're going to be persistent in putting him through this utterly foolish test, you're going to have to get through me first."
Welp, that seemed pretty straightforward. If the new guy didn't take the hint, JeY was just about to shove it down his throat. Of course, if a reasonable suggestion actually manages to present itself, maybe he would back off a little bit, but JeY assumed that it was virtually impossible to come up with a good reason for anything this guy suggested at this point. This may be Michal's mission so-to-speak, but if this was how it's going down, JeY could think of multiple ways to do it several times better, in his opinion.

((I really need to stop making excuses for vanishing off the face of the earth. But life is lifey.))
Gabe remained unintimidated by JeY. Yes, JeY was faster and stronger and generally larger, but they were on his turf! Well... the turf that he was using. For reasons. Anyways.
"One..." Gabe said, mimicking Jey. "No memory is beyond acquiring knowledge. Especially when you've already let Mikie into your heart a bit. I can see your heart through him, ya know? All the memories of your heart... The things that affected you the most. I can read them like a book." Though a bit surprised that he wasn't being 'allowed' to fight Michal, Gabe backed down for now to show off a bit, if nothing else. The spear vanished and the notebook came out again.
"It's such a sad story. Incredible how much power you used to have. I still don't understand why you're helping Mikie here. Did his death affect you so deeply?" Gabe raised his eyebrows as he flipped through the pages of the life of a god.

Ooh, this new guy had gone and done it now. JeY didn't normally express any emotions to any degree, but he could definitely feel himself get a bit frustrated, even slightly angry, for what transpired. Normally, he couldn't care less about what people did or how unless he was interested in replicating the feature, but something as personal as his mind was being probed here? Someone as tightly locked as JeY seemed to be penetrated easily, and for what? A lame excuse as 'let him into your heart?'
"What heart? Do you take me for a joke? No one has been let into anything, there is no ability to see such deeply rooted memories, and I exhibit nothing or have passed this knowledge to a single living or nonliving entity." JeY uncrossed his arms and spawned one of his massive Zweighandlers in his left hand. "Either you tell me what's truly going on right now, or I make mincemeat out of you. You said it yourself; you're just someone in the way."
The chaotic man chose to ignore everything else this crazy hooligan decided to say, brushing it off as nonsense that this dull apparition even know half of what he was talking about. If there was ever a scripted subsequence based on someone absolutely messing with them, this was it. Before anything else would be known to the other parties in the room, JeY was going to make sure their sources were destroyed. JeY was going to pulverize this clown and whoever's pulling the strings.

Now Gabe was quite derailed. The man truly thought that he had no heart? That he alone knew what ability did and didn't exist? "You... actually believe that? Perhaps you're not as... ah, sane... as I imagined."
Regardless, sane or not, JeY was strong. A one on one fight was... not preferable. Best to delay it as long as possible. After all, there was only one way forward now. "I'm not going to fight you, Kelfonje. Though you're a good teacher, I'm only here to test Mikie. If you feel so stubborn, fine. Don't believe me. Just don't coddle him."
Gabe vanished in a lotus of darkness as the last words echoed. Michal was left just kinda staring from behind JeY. "What the frick."
The door remained the same. Black and white energies clashing against each other, with a barely visible dot of pink in the center.

Even though JeY wasn't one to get mad or angry for any reason, this guy was seriously starting to irritate him. That's been said already, but it was getting really out of hands for JeY's standards. "Your mistake was confusing my lack of emotions for sanity. As for beliefs... You have no clue what I am." The situation only managed to lessen in tension when the strange man finally left, allowing JeY to recall his sword and stand back into a more neutral pose. He calmed down instantly, but anticipated a myriad of questions from the boy. JeY imagined that there was a lot to ask after that performance.
But it was even more simply than that. Well, maybe, since JeY could go in any direction with Michal's only utterance. It was so general it was practically all the questions the chaotic man anticipated he would ask all wrapped into one three-word statement. Clever. He didn't really want to have this conversation right now but he felt that unless he settled issues sooner rather than later it would help in the long run. Welp, time to get to answering, no less.
"Don't let that man's banter mess with your head. First off, I'm not human, I'm simply a representation of an entire element called Chaos. I've just chosen to maintain my sentience. Xandiel is the same thing, except Order. Regardless, I have no human qualities. This body does not breathe, sleep, eat, or have any major organs. Including a heart." JeY extended his arm and held the bottom side of his wrist out to Michal, his hand clenched into a fist as if he were getting the blood flowing. If Michal felt his wrist, it would be cold, and there would be... "No pulse." Whether or not Michal felt it, JeY would take has arm back shortly.
"As for following you around, my initial intention was to take Xandiel's power for myself. Since that failed, I'm here to find out why. I have no reason to make the same mistake and kill you too, for the record. My motivations are purely selfish either way, unfortunately." At least, that's what he would tell the boy. Whether there was something deeper would remain a mystery for now. "As for this door... just be wary. I cannot fathom what's behind it."
That being said, JeY wasted no time walking over to the door with the intention of immediately opening it. If Michal had more specific questions first he would stop to address them naturally before continuing, straightening out anything he had in mind. Once that was finished or if he had no questions at all, they would continue to the other side of the door.
Immediately the air would be cold and the landscape would be dark. The sky was seemingly black but with a light, pale gold hue outlined in dark blue indicating there was some sort of visible light but there was no clear source. They were on a cliff made of sandy crag. They could see into the distance, but it would be difficult to make out much more than the basic shapes of the horizon and certain obscuring structures and some semblance of hills. The entire place was a desert, made mostly of cracked rock with large pockets of sand. The color of the ground was consistent throughout - dark red, like the color of rusted iron. It was a giant red sea under a bleak sky.
What was hard to see but not impossible to make out was a large dune mostly comprised of a rock outcrop sticking up to the right, but smoothed into half of a cone. On top of it was a large tent. To the left, there was a massive pitch-black blotch with pins of crimson red lit up amongst it, like a sparkly black curtain. JeY narrowed his eyes. "Well, this is funny. Over there is about thirty five percent of the entire Shadowbeing population coming to kill me, where I was hiding out at the time. Wanna take a guess what happens?" he asked, with just a vague hint of sarcasm that could be detected through his usual monotone.
