It was a rather lucky draw of the cards of fate that Navitas' portal appeared in a deserted alley way where no one could have a heart attack from witnessing its appearance. From the portal Navitas zipped forward, still laughing from his very recent exit from Traverse Town. With a fluid kick downward, Navitas skid his heel across the ground a few feet before stopping completely and making a manly pose. Oh how he loved to travel.
He retained this pose until the time his allies would appear, only breaking it to close the portal with a waving of his hands. "What a way to travel!" Navitas exclaimed to his new companions. "I mean, you can go anywhere with those things. Boy is nature just fantastic!" Navitas always did get a rush from using his portals, they were so fun to jump through and gave him a warm tingly feeling before he popped out the other side. How he ever settled for just flying about all those years ago he'll never know.
Navitas took a moment to examine his surroundings. He had been to Twilight Town before, nice place. So much more cheerful than Traverse Town. Navitas let out a metallic yawn before turning to his pals and saying, "Thanks to a vacation I took long ago I know quite a bit about this place. No problems except for the occasional hooligan. Very urban world, very little wildlife besides the beach. Doh we should go to the beach!" Navitas quickly realized that there were more important things than relaxing and said, "There go my foul manners again. tell me what you two seek and I shall see which place fits best."

The moogle flew through the portal into the unfamiliar world, however the only thing he saw was shiny metal... and then a whole lot of water. Koggles hand run straight into Navitas, face first, with his nostrils feeling as if they were smashing right into his eyes. He slid down the armor slowly and landed like a soft pillow on the ground. The moogle shook his head and began scratching his nose, involuntary tears beginning to form. "No no no... That's a terrible entrance kupooo.. How about a do over?"
It was more of a rhetorical question really; once the moogle noticed the glistening golden colors that made the town famous for it's twilight, he had forgotten about his performers misstep. Like a super charged bunny, Koggles began flying around in non nonsensical patterns, checking various little things out on small little breaks. What awesome looking buildings and all the cool designs. Not to mention the obvious burning yellow in the background, giving it the million munny shine.
Koggles was used to dark or white, cold and snow. To have a place warm and sunny(sorta) filled his little moogle heart with glee. So much glee, in fact, that he almost didn't hear what Navitas was babbling about. He heard the distinct sound of 'beach,' which surprisingly enough was a foreign word to him. As polite as the tin man was trying to be, Koggles was fixated on this 'beach' thing.
"I believe we seek this beach, kupo! Right Ty?" Koggles gave the boy (whenever he made it through the portal) an excitable yet pleaful type of look.

Ty's entrance into Twilight Town was not as spectacular as Navitas' nor disastrous as Koggles'. He simply just stepped out of the portal and stopped. He was dumbfounded by what he saw. Instead of the dreary streets of Traverse Town, or even a lava world or something equally as nasty, The Semi Heartless found himself in a city illuminated by a golden shimmering light. It splashed across the cobbled streets and the brick buildings, giving everything a golden glow.
So this is another world...we actually made it. A slight smile spread across Ty's lips at the thought. He had escaped Traverse Town and was now well on his way towards finding his sister!
Navitas' voice snapped Ty away from his thoughts, and drew his attention to the metal man and his moogle companion. They were both giddy as school girls, both from the travel and at the mention of a beach. Ty's hometown had a beach not too far from it. Whenever he had a spare moment, which he rarely did, he would accompany the younger mages to the beach, just so they could feel the raw might on the ocean as it threw itself against the shore. The teacher would always then launch into a lesson pertaining to how magic and the sea were the same and blah blah blah. Ty always zoned out after that, content to sit there and feel the land accept the sea's salty embrace...
Now Navitas was wanting to go to a beach. Ty thought about it for a moment. It could be a good chance to relax, and who knows? there's lots of people. Lucy might just be with them. Koggles started talking about the beach as if it were a thing and not a place. Ty couldn't help but crack a smile.
"I think we do. It would probably be good to visit the beach for a little while. Let's go!"
Ty, nt knowing anything of Twilight Town, undoubtedly started walking the exact opposite way from the beach.

Well what do you know, it would seem Navitas' new companions wished to visit the beach as well. What luck that is! Maybe this time he can get a turtle pal, that would be fantastic. With a pump of his arm in a rightward direction, Navitas exclaimed, "Excellent! We shall make our way there post haste! To the tram station!" He was about to frolic in that direction when he noticed Ty walking off. He quickly corrected him, "No no boy tram's this way see? Giant clock tower." Navitas pointed to the world's landmark, an enormous clock tower that gracefully watched over the world. "Go that way and you'll just get mediocrity." Navitas said with a chuckle, referring to the rest of the town which he found to be rather dull compared to the wilderness around it. With a happy huff Navitas pointed toward the road to the station and declared, "Excelsior!" before hovering down said road.
He would soon lead his new friends to the front of the station, where he would plant his metal boots firmly on the ground and motion to the giant clock once more. In a hardy voice he would exclaim, "Have you ever seen something so magnificent? One of the great marvels of the universe that, so symmetrical and vast. Must have took forever to build, come let us stare at its majesty for just a moment." Navitas enjoyed the little things in life, especially since those little things were gigantic. The orange tower was indeed a grand sight, with its many pillars and bell ornaments hanging from the side. The clock itself was fantastic as well, high enough to receive the soft glare of the sun and reflect its golden shine across the town. Such a fine thing. Navitas would have to remind himself to take his fellow travelers to the top of it once they got back from the beach.
Speaking of the beach, there was no more time for dallying. Navitas quickly realized this and said, "Tut tut off we go. Don't want to miss that tram." Navitas walked through the grand double door entrance to the tram station and went right to the teller, assuming his companions could keep up. He would knock on the glass and say to the young woman in the ticket booth, "Three tickets for the beach tram please." The young woman had her back to him but once she heard the request she put on her best smile and turned to confirm this purchase. She didn't right away though, as if you were to see a large metal statuesque man staring at you from behind glass you would nearly have a heart attack too. Quickly the girl threw forth three tickets and spouted, "Th-the t-tram will arrrrive in f-f-five minutes sir. Have a nice day." She then pulled down the metal shudder to the booth window before Navitas could even pull out his munny bag to pay. Navitas scratched his head for a moment before shrugging his shoulders and taking the tickets from the booth's outer counter. With a jolly sigh he said, "Right boys, find a seat on a bench. Tram wont be long."

OOC: Sorry for the wait guys. Been really busy and pretty museless.
The moogle was beyond elated when the decision was final to go to the beach. He, of course, knew virtually nothing about cities so when Navita's mentioned a 'tram' he was completely confused. It seemed the man knew much about this city as well, which reaffirmed the fact that he really was a mercenary of the sorts. Intergalactic though, which was a whole other realm to the moogle. He was used to his small world where a mercenary only traveled to different continents. Koggles wasn't even sure if things like that existed in this huge universe.
As the two followed the tin man, Koggles noticed the giant clock tower hanging over the tram station. This was a piece of architecture the moogle had never seen before and boy was it a marvel! It was also revolutionary to him, allowing everyone to see the exact time that way there would be no confusion. How useful that would be in his world.
Koggles huffed a little as they entered the station, the walls were cracked with age; It was a familiar thing. The moogle sat on a bench, waiting for Navitas to get tickets. Maybe it was expected, but Koggles was feeling homesick. It wasn't anything severe, but he still felt that feeling in the pit of his stomach. Everything was so fantastical, so grand and a lot of new technology and people. But he really missed the simple ways of his life... Simple ways..? Wait, maybe he was remembering--
Navitas spoke up about the Tram being there soon, and his thoughts had already faded. Koggles shook his head and tried to forget all about home for now, he wanted to focus on this beach. The moogle got up from the bench, it felt like they were sitting ages. He flew over to the area where the trams normally would come out and began to explore a little.

Ty heard Navitas call out to him. Apparently the way that he had chose was the wrong way. All the golden colored streets looked the same to him, so he had to trust the hulking tin man. He didn't like having to follow him, but he had no other choice really. As he walked around the cobbled streets, his mind started to wander.
So this really is a whole nother world. Different than home, different that the slums of Traverse Town. It's so bright here. Lucy would love it here...maybe she is already here. The Semi Heartless squinted at the setting sun. Was this world like Traverse Town, except of perpetual night it was perpetual twilight?
Ty huffed a little as they began the climb up the hill to the station. Ty glared a little at his companions. Traverse Town was relatively flat, with the only changes in elevation being manmade and easily traversed by stairs. Here, there were hills. And they were not necessarily "user friendly." While he had to hike up the incline, his companions floated effortlessly around, either by wings or some unknown force. He wished he could float around effortlessly. How long does this hill go for? My calves are starting to hurt....
The teenager was roused from his complaining thoughts when Navitas suddenly stopped, posed dramatically and pointed to the clock tower. It was quite the spectacle. It was tall with sweeping arches and some sort of antler looking ornaments hanging off of the sides. It was an interesting feat of architecture. It was so stunning that Ty didn't even realize that he had reached the top of the hill and stood in the middle of the plaza outside the station. The golden sunlight reflected off of the face for even more brilliance. When he could tear his eyes away, he turned and was met with an equally stunning view of the city. It looked like the station was the highest point in the city, and that he could look down onto the almost shimmering town below. He was so taken aback that he did not notice his friends go into the station.
He had no idea how much time had passed by then time he realized that Navitas and Koggles had disappeared inside. He looked around the empty plaza before hurrying into the station. It was quite a spacious station, with a ticket counter in one corner and a few benches near the tracks. He noticed Navitas sitting over on one of the benches and Koggles was exploring every nook and cranny of the platform. Ty started to wander towards the benches when a tram pulled into the station. This had to be the one for the beach.
"Well, I think our ride is here guys"

Navitas looked up as Ty noted their "ride". The tram had indeed arrived, and now a day of whimsical fun was just a hop away. Navitas happily cooed and hovered toward the tram. He stopped short of the door and stood aside, allowing his comrades to go in before him. After they would enter, Navitas would follow suit. Navitas loved these Twilight Town trams, what with their small comfy sizes and booth-seat seats. Oh how he loved those seats.
Navitas took the seat closest to the door and settled in for the short ride to the beach. "Shouldn't be a long trip." Navitas said to his companions. "Perhaps nothing more than five minutes. Ehhhh maybe seven, depends on maintenance. Point is get comfy. I'd just look out the windows the whole time, fantastic view there." They would not be the only riders on this tram. A minute before they would set off, five teens in beach ware would board as well. Three boys and two girls giggled their way to the back of the tram, too entranced in their own conversation to notice the other three strange travelers.
Navitas observed the group of loud teens for only a moment before giving them no further mind. Navitas did not enjoy the teens of Twilight Town. They were just so...privileged. Silly rich kids. The tram would soon set off, and Navitas passed the time by staring at the ceiling. It was nice, very nice ceiling. The ever reaching dusk of the forever setting sun filled the tram with an orange light. This made going through a tunnel especially jarring, as the tram was not well lit and actually made it far more gloomy. Almost, spooky even.
The tunnel signaled the end of the trip. It would lead out to the beach station, which of course sat right on the beach. Navitas giggled with excitement, "The first thing we must do is get some Sea Salt ice cream. Best ice cream you shall ever have I promise." The teens continued to chatter away in the back, which just made Navitas shake his head in tolerated annoyance. It was in the middle of the tunnel that things took an unfortunately unexpected turn. The breaks sounded off. The tram had stopped.
A voice sounded on the cabin intercom, "Don't worry back there, just some technical difficulties. I'll get it fixed in a jiff." Navitas looked out the window behind him. Nothing but darkness. He wondered what caused the difficulties, "Probably just a stray tool from the most previous maintenance getting lodged in the wheels. Wont take long, not like there isn't enough sunlight to burn anyway." The teens didn't even seem to notice, just chatting away to themselves. Navitas tried to keep his ear to the wall so that he may hear what went on outside. He could hear the tram's engineer walking about outside, probably trying to find the problem. Suddenly there was a walk on the back window. The two teen girls screamed.
Navitas looked to see the engineer pressing his face on the glass, a big silly grin on his face. He was just trying to scare the teens, what a card. The teens enjoyed it, giggling to themselves before returning to their conversation. Navitas wearily put his ear back to the wall. The sound of movement was still heard on his side. Navitas spoke up at this, "If the engineer is already at the back, what's moving over here?" The tram moaned. It shook once. Twice. A third time. Then darkness. The tram's power had been cut off. The engineer could no longer be seen by the back window. The teens displayed fake fear with giggle filled screams but Navitas had seen enough horror movies to know that something was most certainly wrong. "Curses." Navitas said disappointed. "And here I hoped today would be normal for once."

No words were really necessary for the moogle as he saw the tram arrive right in front of him. He floated rather eagerly inside the tram, finding a seat and bouncing happily. Whatever type of somber demeanor Koggles was carrying before had quickly faded away in the allure of their upcoming destination. Oh he was so excited! As it had probably become obvious, the moogle had no idea what a beach was but felt it was a pleasurable place... why else would they all speak of it so fondly?
Once everyone found their spots, Koggles moved around happily in his seat. He noticed the teens walk in but didn't pay much mind to them. All he really cared about at this point was the tram moving, which was another adventure in itself. All this technology... it was just so new!
"Ice... Cream?"
The word perked interest in Koggles. He had never heard of such a thing before, and placed his paws on Navitas. The tin man shook his head in annoyance and the moogle backed off quickly about to tell him off before he realized it wasn't directed at him. Something to do with those kids it seemed. Although he was curious about the ice cream he would find out about it soon enough. Instead, he just huffed lightly and nicked the edge of Navitas' armor.
Turning his attention towards Ty, the moogle jumped on his shoulders and looked out the window. They were passing a lot of things, buildings, people, shops... This town was much more lively then Traverse Town was, although he couldn't blame it. The premise of Traverse Town didn't hold much happiness in it anyway...
"So Ty, have you ever been to a beach before?"
Koggles getting an answer was most likely going to be post-poned on the account of the tram screeching to a halt. This turn of events led to fluff flying through the air and bouncing on the ground. Koggles shook his head and then snapped it towards the conductors room. "What type of lousy, idiot just goes and stop for--" The voice came through the loud speakers and silenced the moogle, who was basically flaming red at this point. If it weren't for the fact that Koggles couldn't figure out how to open the doors, he most likely would have headbutted the conductor, lucky bugger.
With his own commotion, he missed the little scare show and took his seat between Navitas and Ty once again, folding his arms and puffing up as he usually did once angered. Several moments passed and the tram began to move again, which caused Koggles to throw his paws in the air with relief. "Finally! This beach must meet Koggles, kupo!"
Of course, the moogle heard Navitas, who didn't sound all that ecstatic. Odd. Koggles looked out the window once again and saw, far off now, a man on the tracks. He popped his head back then flew over towards the door where the conductor should be. He didn't see anything. The moogle looked back again, laughing rather sheepishly. He didn't really like spooky things, and this was starting to feel haunted carnival type spooky... whatever a carnival was.
"Do these things typically move on their own, kupo?"

When the tram pulled up, Ty was dumbstruck. Unlike the trams of his home, there was no engine pulling it, nor any signs of locomotion otherwise. Was it propelled by magic? Or by some technology Ty was unfamiliar with? Either way, this trip was going to be an interesting one. The Semi Heartless followed his companions aboard the tram and soon found himself wedged between a giant tin man and a bouncing furball.
This shall be a fun ride... he thought, as the moogle continued to bounce around. Ty awkwardly unhooked Nightsbane from his belt and held it in between his legs, since it was awkward to sit with and he feared that Koggles might awkwardly impale himself along the handle. As he did so, a group of teenagers boarded the tram car. Ty shot the noisy bunch a look that would have curdled milk. The teens ignored the look from the golden-eyed man. The group sat in the back and continued to gossip about this and that and other meaningless things. Soon, the tram began its journey.
As soon as they were underway, Navitas began to talk about the ice cream and other things about the beach. Ty was actually looking forward to the beach. The tram had picked up speed and Ty stared out the windows and watched as the city flew by. Koggles had climbed up onto the Semi Heartless' shoulders to stare out the window. Due to his position, the moogle's question was very loud in Ty's ear.
"Beach? Yes I've been to the beach before. My homeworld had a wonderful beach not too far from where I lived. I would accompany the younger classes there to assist in their learning of the power of nature. nature was always the best source of mana. The power of the sea was most alluring to me...which is probably why I almost specialized in water magics." Ty stared out of the window, a dreamy look in his eyes. He missed the feel of the sea, the call of the water. He was actually looking forward to this trip.
Ty was snapped from his reverie as the tram entered the tunnel. His grip tightened slightly as the available light suddenly was reduced to the cabin lights. Seconds later, the tram came to a screeching halt. Ty could hear the teenagers laughing nervously. "What's going on?" he asked nervously. Something wasn't right. Why would a perfectly working tram suddenly stop? Navitas tried to explain it away as some maintenance tool left on the track. Ty was dubious nonetheless. There were screams and giggles from the back. Ty started to stand and draw his weapon when he realized that the engineer was just scaring the giggly teens. Disgruntled at the false alarm, Ty sunk back into his seat. He muttered something about stupid teens being inconsiderate and whatnot, even though he probably was not much older than they were. That's when he heard it.
The scuffling. It couldn't be the engineer, he was still behind the train. Besides, the noise was almost inhuman.
What is that? That noise? Do the Heartless exist here too?
Ty started to speak up, to let his companions know about the noises, when everything went black. The power had been cut to the tram. Darkness enveloped them all. It was oppressive. Ty began to hyperventilate as memories of the darkness came flooding back. The pain, the suffering, the trauma. Nighstbane clattered the floor as he gripped the sides of his head, trying to get the memories out of his mind. Through the darkness, one thing could be heard. The sound of something coming into the main cabin.

Navitas didn't hear the creature's attempts to enter the cabin, he was too busy looking out the window. What could possibly be lurking in the shadows. He wished to have more inner monologues of what it can be but the damn tram started moving! Navitas heard his smaller companion wonder if this was possible. Navitas looked to the engineer room. The creature had entered through there. Direly, Navitas replied, "I wish it were moving on its own."
Navitas jumped from his seat and ran to the door to the engineer room. He intended to smash it open, but he soon heard the struggling of Ty. Quickly Navitas said, "Koggles, I think Ty is having some sort of panic attack. Try to snap him out of it and get him to the back of the cabin with the annoying weirdos." The teens in the back, who were not at all having any more fun, scoffed at Navitas' comment. Their distaste didn't last long, their terror was much more overwhelming.
Navitas looked out the window and was surprised to see that they had not left the tunnel yet. He could visibly see the movement of various parts of the tunnel, and from what he could tell they were going rather fast. Why haven't they left the tunnel yet? Something bigger was going on, but Navitas knew this was no the time to ponder it. He couldn't take any action yet, he needed Koggles and Ty to be safely out of the way. He didn't know what was in the engineer room and what exactly they were doing, but it couldn't at all be friendly. Navitas simply stood near the door and cracked his fists. This was going to get real messy real quick.

OOC: OH MY GOODNESS GUYS. SO SORRY FOR DYING. Someone revived me though. Jeez I'm real sorry. Hopefully we can continue.
The answer the moogle got back from Navitas was one he didn't want to hear. So this was completely abnormal and their trip to the beach probably wasn't going to be happening. As much as Koggles wanted to groan and complain about this, he felt the room and knew it really wasn't the time.
The tin man became interested in the engineer's room as well, and then told the moogle to get Ty to the back of the tram. It was smart, considering his partner was definitely going through some type of break down. It was just a hunch at the time, but whenever there was a high density of darkness in an area, it seemed to affect Ty greatly. From what he was told before, it made sense, though the moogle didn't want to jump to any conclusions.
"Hey, Ty, let's get you to the back, OK? Koggles is here, kupo!"
The moogle floated on over to his comrade, placing a paw gently on his back. He noticed the boy's sword on the ground and decided it would be best if they conveniently forgot that it was there. The moogle edged Ty to get up and began trying to pull him towards the back. Moving a human was not easy, what a job to give him! Navitas could have lifted Ty up with one hand if he wanted to, Koggles was beginning to feel a little jipped. Regardless, he huffed and puffed, every now and then trying to console his friend with words. Koggles never once heard or felt the presence of another entity, most likely the reason why he was able to stay so calm.
Once they had gotten to the back, Koggles tried to force Ty to sit down next to the teens, who seemed to be scoffing at every little thing they did. One of them made a remark at how "the tiny thing" should be working at the synthesis shop. If steam could come out of a moogle, it would have erupted from his ears. Koggles, like a cartoon, began rolling up invisible sleeves as he started floating towards the kids. "Oooh why I outta..."
There was another screech this time and it silenced the moogle and the kids. Koggles looked around rather slowly, a small shiver and a tiny shake would flow through his body every now and again. "Navitas, kupo? Everything good up there?"

Ty could barely feel the tram accelerate. He could feel the darkness in his heart resonating with whatever was out there. This resonance was stirring up traumatic experiences from his times in darkness. There was a tap on his shoulder, somewhat bringing him back to the reality. He was urging Ty to move to the back of the tram. He shakily stood up, still caught between delusions and reality. He stumbled over Nightsbane. It clattered noisily to the floor of the tram. Ty screamed and held on tighter to Koggles, unintentionally stealing some of the tiny moogle's mana.
Koggles eventually guided the delusional Semi Heartless to a seat next to the teenagers. They shot him strange looks and hissed things like, "Awww, is the little baby scared of the dark?"
"Why don't you go crying home to mommy?"
Ty sunk deeper into his delusions, trying to escape the taunting of the teenagers. It only made things worse. The teenager grew more moody as depression was now mixed in with fear. He cowered in the seat, holding on tightly to his companion, forgetting his normal qualms about touching people and stealing their mana.
The darkness was oppressive now. He cried out something about needing air and the feeling of being suffocated. He squirmed and struggled until he found himself on the floor. He scrambled around aimlessly for a minute before his hand landed on the hilt of his sword. It comforted him a little, since he first had acquired it not long after escaping Darkness. He had used it to first clear away Heartless. It gave him a brief moment of clarity. In that instant, he felt an overwhelming sense of dread. Something big was here. It was close. He could sense the darkness coming off of it.
"Navitas! Look out!" was all he could shout before his fears reclaimed his lucidity.

With his two pals out of the way, Navitas walked over to the door. As he neared it, a dire feeling rose up within his metallic innards. Whenever you can feel the presence of something on the other side of a metal wall, you knew stuff was about to go down. Of course, being the fool that he was, Navitas considered the fact that in order to work this tram the creature would have to be mildly intelligent. This only increased Navitas' frightened nerves, but he remained vigilant. As a big strong king, it was his obligation to protect those weaker than he because let's face it no one else will. With a deep breath, Navitas took hold of the handle of the door and pulled it open.
That screech Koggles heard? That was the frightened girly scream of Navitas as he saw what was on the other side of that door. Without thinking, Navitas slammed the door shut and began to breathe heavily. "Everything's fine! No reason to come up here! I can totally handle this on my own!" He totally could not handle this on his own. The creature behind the door...oh lordy. Now, Navitas has been around the block a few times and encountered quite a few oddball creatures. One such oddball creature was a malevolent shadow monster that lived in the houses of the wealthy and privileged to make them suffer. It doesn't have a specific name, though Navitas likes to call them "Wopplestinkers". Or, as translated in the language of the world he rules, "Asshats".
Wopplestinkers are ghastly look creatures, having the body of a komodo dragon, claws of a bald eagle's talons, a neck that spans seven feet in length and maneuvers like a snake, the head and face of a human (usually female, as was this case), teeth and jaw of a football fish, and eyes of an eel. These horrors hail from an unknown realm in the World of Darkness and spend most of their time making the upper class feel miserable (for some unknown reason). This usually consists of stealing their money, breaking their fancy stuff...or killing their children in horrendous ways. Like maybe with a tram accident.
Navitas encountered such a creature in his own palace, and let me tell you now...they aren't easy to take down. They are fast, brutal, and strong. The one he fought almost put a dent in his skin! Add a good amount of dark magic skill to the equation and you have one tough shadow creature. Navitas was not eager to fight another Wopplestinker. At least back then he had the benefit of being the desired victim, now though- not so much. Wopplestinkers had a taste for the dramatic or creative, so Navitas can intrude on what he predicted to be his plan and the monster would not directly try to attack its target. Though if it got desperate enough...no, Navitas wouldn't let it! Though as I said before, he was well aware he could not handle this alone. Reluctantly, he called for Koggles. "Koggles? Yes ahem, can you come up here for a moment?" Before Koggles could probably get the chance to react, Navitas would hear Ty yelling for him to watch out! Watch out? Watch out for wha-OH GOD!
The Wopplestinker had opened the door a crack and stuck its long neck out right near Navitas' shoulder. With a hiss, it opened its mouth far wider than what should be possible for a human and struck out. Navitas saw this in the nick-of-time, and maneuvered to trap the beast's neck under his arm. It worked, but the Wopplestinker wasn't happy. It pulled backward with all of its grand strength, slamming Navitas into the door. It did this several more times as Navitas refused to let go, though he was eventually forced to because the ruckus was terrible. Navitas shut the door completely once more and did his best to keep it shut. His body adapting to his new opponent's strength helped, however the Wopplestinker slamming its body against the door did not. Oh dear, what if Koggles heeded his request and came to him? He would be grave danger!

Navitas' reassurance wasn't all that believable to the moogle. Before the tin man even called out for him to come up, he had decided he should go and help him out. Of course, before he floated off, he heard the kids still saying their ruthless things to Ty. Now the moogle was beyond mad, and with an uncharacteristic shift into complete rage, he slammed his paw down onto the seat, creating a loud thud.
"Listen here you little punk kupos!" Koggles began, fire in his eyes and sharp growling from his mouth. "We don't have time for your gossipy stupidity, so instead of being a bunch of Mu's, how about you actually be helpful?" The teens were a little taken back by the reaction of Koggles and weren't sure what to say or how to retort. The moogle looked over near Ty, seeing that he was still in no state of being left alone, he looked back to the teens. "Watch him, okay kupo?" The teens looked up ahead towards where the other man had walked and noticed his unnerving movements. They were beginning to understand the severity of the situation and slowly nodded towards Koggles.
At that time, Navitas actually called for Koggles, who spun around already having the intent to come help. Before he could even make it halfway, however, a beastly beast thing had found it's way near Navitas. Koggles let out a small shrill, covering his mouth with his paws to keep the rest of the sound inside. What the hell was that?! Navitas appeared to have it in a head lock now, but it continued to slam the tinman against the door. Koggles flew quickly over to him but the creature had slithered back into the room.
"Navitas, are you alright, kupo?" The moogle put a paw on the shoulder of his friend, then looked inside the engineer's room. He didn't see anything. He had caught a small glimpse of the creature and it looked like a grotesque female human with a really long neck. Koggles had many questions indeed, but he wasn't sure which one to ask first. He looked back towards Ty, seeing that everything was still good, then looked at Navitas. "OK.. Um. So what was that thing?"

Ty barely heard his tiny friend stick up for him. He hated this. He felt useless. The darkness felt like it was crushing him. Slowly squeezing out his sanity. The teenagers he was seated next to had finally quieted down, now that they understood the gravity of the situation. They all screamed when whatever was behind the door attacked.
Ty had felt it more than he had seen it. The creature had a long serpentine neck and sharp claws. Ty wasn't exactly sure, but what might be hiding behind the door might be a Wrechsnipe. At the University, Ty had encountered such a creature. During a class of the rare mystical beasts of the world, he saw a Wrechsnipe being held in captivity. They were nasty things. Long necks, ugly faces, and an odd affinity for wealth and power. They often latched onto a wealthy family and slowly drove them mad, either with nightmares or its strange ability to communicate telepathically. The creature had gotten loose during the class and it took the entire staff of senior mages to actually subdue the creature. If it truly was a Wrechsnipe, this wasn't going to be an easy fight.
Ty slammed his fist into the upholstered seat, frustrated at his uslessness.
This is horrible. We're all going to die and I'm stuck back here, as useful as a screen door on a submarine.
The Semi Heartless began to stand, but quickly sat back down as the tram lurched unexpectedly. As he fell, he felt the darkness grow thicker, and more stifling. He felt like he was going to suffocate.
"H-help" he cried, hyperventilating.
"Ssssilly boy. They cannot hear you"
Ty looked around, trying to find the voice. It didn't sound like anyone on the tram. The voice was deep, and sounded like gravel in a blender. Plus it spoke with a very odd lisp.
"In fact. They do not even like you. To them, you are just a Heartlessss waiting to sssspawn. Why elsssse would I be here."
No one else seemed to be able to hear the voice. Ty tried to clear his mind, but the looming darkness made that impossible. He was clearly starting to lose his sanity if he was hearing voices.
It's not true... he thought, fighting back. They do like me...
"Ssssilly boy. They only keep you around ssso that they have someone to laugh at. And once you are fully lost to the darknesss...they will kill you."
Ty sunk farther into a depression. The voice was right. They probably really didn't like him anyways. He was a failure. He had lost his sister, his family, his magic. He was just a shadow of his former self. His so called friends probably laughed at him behind his back. He sighed and sunk deeper into the darkness. He was so wrapped up in his thoughts and depression that he did not hear the sound of something snaking across the floor...

((How over the top can we make this?)) Navitas's hope was not seen through, Koggles soon floated on up to see if Navitas was alright. Of course he saw that darn Wopplestinker and Navitas reluctantly explained everything he knew about them while also struggling to keep that door closed. After he was done explaining, Navitas would go on to say, "Koggles, I cannot help but worry for your safety! This is nothing like the heartless, it shall relentlessly- JUMPING JEHOSHAPHAT!"
That thing Ty heard slithering on the floor? Not the Wopplestinker. Navitas took notice of this new creature as soon as it slithered out from under a nearby seat, and the sight of it filled him with horror. It was none other than the terrible, vile, completely wretched monster known as the Geokor! The Geokor (Which in the language of Navitas' people means Blood Gurgle) was a fifteen foot black scaled serpent with the head of a very large Gulper Eel. It too was from the dark world, and have the unique trait of having memory taste. As in once it tastes something good, it shall hunt that thing down and relentlessly try to consume the rest of it. They are known for having a very potent poison in their fangs that acts like an intense acid. So intense that it nearly melted Navitas's armor! That in itself is enough to fear it, but on top of that its teeth have a grip so strong that it can break bones! Because of these traits, they are often used as natural assassins, though they are insanely rare outside the dark world. Navitas only met one as a member of his court had escaped the dark world, but had a Geokor on his tail. It took a good while to take down this beast, and with a Wopplestinker in the same environment the situation was nothing short of terrible.
With a flash Navitas summoned one of his Little Dipper guns and shot at the Geokor. The Geokor's scales are rather durable on the topside (with the underbelly being softer) thus the shot only pissed it off. It turned to Navitas and began to slither toward him instead. Navitas let out another shot into the beast's head, causing it to hiss and slither under a seat. Navitas looked to Koggles and quickly said, "Make haste Koggles, destroy that beats under the seats! I suggest provoking it to open its mouth and letting lose some of that grand magic of yours right into its gullet! That should make quick wo-" There was a knock on the back window. The teens screamed as they looked out to see what it was. Navitas looked to it and responded, "My God we're doomed..."
Looking through the window was a being of impeccable horror. A humanoid in a tight black leather suit with long claw like knives on his fingers and steel pointed boots that were sticking through the door. His face was a wretched thing to behold, lacking lips, a nose, hair, eyelids, or ears. A glass bowl encased this terrible head and had several tubes that connected into his suit. Navitas knew this as a Creep Hunter, soldiers of the Yorkel empire specifically trained to destroy creatures of darkness. They used a shadow core generator to create a temporal loop and trap their targets in a single spot. This explained why the tram had yet to leave the tunnel, it was trapped in the loop. Yet this did not end the horror, as Creep Hunters had a tendency to kill innocents who happened to be around their targets. Sometimes for security reasons, other times for chuckles. Navitas doubted this one would be different. With a Wopplestinker keeping him pinned to the door, a Geokor slithering under the seats, and a Creep Hunter breaking through the back, Navitas began to suspect that this situation was the result of a much bigger controversy. Someone on this tram, apparently in the back since that is where the Creep Hunter and Geokor were heading, was the target of a very large amount of hatred. Someone wants someone dead...like really dead. If Navitas didn't know any better, he would say that someone on this tram wasn't what they seemed. He would figure that out later, for now he needed protect everyone just in case. He urged to the teens, "Transport yourselves and our friend to the middle of the tram! Quickly, before he gets in!" Navitas pointed his Little Dipper toward the Creep Hunter in preparation for his emergence onto the tram, only to hear a very distinct thump overhead. "Oh for crap sake, what is it now!?"

So much was happening at one time that the moogle didn't know what to react too. There was a thing slithering on the ground, a thing behind the door, another thing behind the window, a bunch of yelling, worrying and panicking... to put it simply, Koggles was a little fed up with the chaos. Ignoring whatever was behind door number 3, the moogle got Sider out, spinning it in a harsh manner then slamming it against the tram floor. His little body was was courageously standing right in front of the seat where the snake thingy went under.
"Alright you freako serpent thing, get on out here, it's time for dinner, kupo!"
Koggles appeared to be a small knight, leaning lightly on the spear that towered over him. The moogle could see under the seats just a tad, noticing small movements. He, for some reason, wasn't expecting the sudden lunge of the creature, as it's surprisingly large jaws almost took the entire moogle inside. Both the fluffy and slithery creatures crashed right through the window, hurling both of them out of the tram. Koggles quick reflexes narrowly avoided an undesirable body mutation, when he stuck Sider onto the side of the train and held his grip tightly. The creepazoid was now somewhere out there in the tunnel. Koggles hadn't caught much of what Navitas noticed, but what he did see was unmistakable movement. If that was the case, why weren't they out of the tunnel yet?..
At this point, the thud on top of the tram resonated throughout the machine, also alerting the moogle of another possible threat. Since he was already outside, he took it upon himself to go have a looksey.
Swinging himself with the utmost agility (or by cheating and flying) Koggles made it to the top. He had heard the noise, no doubt about that, but there wasn't anything around that could have made it. Was it parts of the tunnel maybe? That was terrifying in itself; but on all accounts, it was just a fluke app--
When Koggles turned around, it was as if someone had placed a mirror behind him when he wasn't looking. He crashed into an image of himself, then back peddled with great shock. "Kupo!! What type of trick is this?!" For the moment, the being in front of him.. or maybe it was him, was doing exactly what he was doing. Like a 1920's comedy, he made various movements of ridiculous outcomes of both mirroring each other. After this charade lasted for a good five minutes, Koggles just stood there, gazing at himself with questioning. Koggles was pondering what he should do, when Sider's sharp edge was hovering close to his own chest. For a second he thought it was his own, then quickly realized the image of himself began moving freely. Batting the spear away, he jumped back as his copy did the same. Koggles put Sider in a fighting stance and he was looking at a mirror once more. He tilted his head, so did his copy... did he just imagine that?

Ty's head snapped up at the sound of glass breaking. He looked around the car. He was now huddled in the middle of the car with the teenagers. Navitas was struggling to keep the door closed against the strength of the wretchsnipe. He could see that the metal man was struggling to hold back the ferocious beast. As for the slithering and the voice he had heard a few minutes ago, it was now silent. Whatever the snake thing was, it was long gone by now, as Ty could no longer feel its cold weight upon his fractured heart. He shifted his gaze towards the door. There was some humanoid trying to force its way inside. It was really quite ugly in his opinion. Its head was in a fishbowl and its face was abhorred to view. It seemed dangerous, but that was a guess since Navitas had discharged his weapon at it.
It was around this time that Ty had noticed Koggles had vanished from the tram.
"Koggles?" He asked, a little bit of panic in his voice. What had happened to his friend? True he hadn't known the moogle for long, but he was quite fond of him and they had been through a lot together. The thought of him possibly being gone troubled the teen. "Koggles!" He yelled. There was a thud on the roof. That has to be him, I mean he can fly right? he thought trying to calm himself down. Did he take care of the snake? he wondered. None of these kids could have done it and Navitas is stuck at the door. I guess that leaves the third one to me...
Ty turned his attention back to the door. The man creature thing was almost inside. Ty slowly got to his feet, his legs a little wobbly, He didn't like the fact that there was still darkness all around, but if his companions could face these creatures, then he should be able to as well.
"Leave...leave the one at the door to me," he said over his shoulder to Navitas. Steeling himself, he threw his weight against the thing against the door, trying to force it back out. The thing grabbed a hold of the door frame and kept the pair from tumbling out of the car. Ty's eyes widened as he made contact with the man. Aside from hurting his hand and shoulder, its breathing apparatus was quite exstinsive and thick. In fact, it was thick enough to prevent any mana transfer whatsoever. The thing pushed Ty back into the teenagers huddled on the floor.
"Another creature of Darkness?" the thing said, drawing closer. "This is just a treat, three creatures all in one place. You and your companions are practically doing my job for me. Unfortunately, that is against the rules and you all must die. Starting with you." The creature leveled some sort of gun at Ty. It pulled the trigger and there was a brilliant flash that illuminated the entire car. Ty rolled, but was grazed by the shot. The teens shrieked in terror and Ty grabbed his arm. It felt like it was on fire, and he had just been grazed by it.
"Sweet baby Manda! It burns! It burns!"
"Of course it does. Light banished the darkness. Now die already!" The thing fired again and Ty managed to get on his feet and out of the way. The thing glared at him, obviously not expecting this much resistance and agility from some creature tied to the darkness. Ty rushed the man and tried the wrestle the gun away from him. The gun discharged two or three times, burning holes into the roof of the car. In the meantime, Ty could feel a slight mana transfer, since the man's arms were not as heavily protected as his chest. Ty kneed the man's stomach and was able to get the weapon away from him. Without hesitation, Ty threw the gun out the broken window. The man drew a shining blade from seemingly nowhere. Ty responded in time, picking Nightsbane off of the floor and drawing in. There was not a lot of room to swing Nightsbane here, and he had the teenagers to worry about too. The hunter thing definitely held the advantage.
The man rushed, trying to get inside the teen's swing. Ty saw this and blocked, sparks flying from where the two blades met. Ty pushed his opponent back and lunged. The man sidestepped and slashed, slicing Ty's arm with the shining blade. Pain exploded in his arm. He tried to ignore it. The man rushed again. Ty quickly pointed his sword at him and was about to cast mana shrapnel, but realized that the teens would be hit by the attack. The man knocked Nightsbane out of Ty's hand and stabbed. The blade hit in a nonleathal spot, but it still hurt. Ty fell back onto the seat. The man laughed. He didn't advance. Instead he waled over to the broken window and stuck his arm out. When he brought it back into the cabin, it was holding the gun that had been thrown out. A creepy smile crept across its face.
"Time loops. Gotta love them." It brought the gun level with Ty's chest. "Now, creature of Darkness, die!"

Well shooting the hunter did not help. Go figure. Navitas was prepared to continue shooting him but Ty would step up, claiming the hunter as an opponent. Navitas objected, "Ty don't be a silly head, get back before-" No use, the boy went in for the attack. It went about as well as Navitas expected...
Seems Ty's semi-heartless nature wasn't serving him so well. The Creep Hunter's arsenal was unforgiving toward those who lay within the dark. Navitas was sure he was done for, but then the boy proved him wrong by outmaneuvering the hunter...who then outmaneuvered Ty and was looking to finish him off. That's great. Also he was pretty sure Koggles fell out of a window with the Geokor, yeah this wasn't going well.
Navitas quickly began formulating ideas of what to do, but most schemes he thought about ended rather terribly in his head. Except for one, which would only possibly end bad. He didn't want to, but he had little choice at this point. Navitas waited for the Wopplestinker to pound upon the door once more before putting his plan into motion. Quickly he yelled out, "Get to the side now!" before opening the door. The Wopplestinker charged outward and into the tram, quickly realizing what was happening and attempting to stop its charge. No luck, it slid across all the way across the tram, ramming into anyone who got in the way...like the Creep hunter who didn't react accordingly. The two horror beings toppled over each other a few more feet, rapidly heading toward the open back side of the tram. The hunter began firing shots in desperation. Most of them missed, but one hit one of the female teenagers who was huddling with her friends on the left side of the tram. The two rolled toward the end, the Wopplestinker toppling out and the Creep Hunter latching onto the edge. Surely he could climb back in, however his glass bowl was shattered during that little roll of his. Heavily breathing, he would stare with hatred toward Ty before choking and loosing his grip.
Navitas couldn't sigh with relief yet, that girl needed medical attention! "Koggles?" He would shout as he ran toward the middle of the tram. "Koggles if you can hear me we need your...holy smoking jelly fish hookers!" The shot girl had morphed into a rather tall skeletal figure wearing queenly robes. Her bright yellow eyes stared onward as she clawed for air. The other teens, spooked beyond all reason, had jumped to the other side of the tram. The dark woman gasped, "It was foolish for me to think...that a disguise would help me. I was very...enjoying this new life too." Navitas would have asked important questions like 'Whoa re you?' or 'Why were those monsters sent to brutally kill you.' but he was a bit lost for words. What the hell was this? This was supposed to be a fun day at the beach, not get caught in the over the top assassination attempt on...whoever this weirdo was. Eventually Navitas was able to actually get words out, "Well..th-there there. A friend of ours shall be here shortly, he can surely heal your wounds...maybe." Navitas at that moment began to question the competence of Koggles' healing magic, paying little attention to the other three teens wondering aloud what this 'monster' did with their friend...[/blcokquote]

The moogle had been staring at his counterpart for the duration of whatever was going on in the tram. Once all the commotion had ended, he heard a distinctive voice calling his name. For a second, he snapped out of his trance like gazing and looked over the side of the tram. Ty was on the ground, and Navitas was standing near the teens. It looked as if they were victorious. Koggles looked back up on the train, and didn't see the doppelganger anymore. That was odd... the white creature grunting, shook his tiny head and made his way back into the tram.
"Ok, here I am, you need my-- AH HOLY KUPO, MONSTER"
The moogle spun out Sider once again, but then realized no one was trying to do anything and this being was barely able to sit up. Koggles caught on fast, but he wasn't sure as to why they wanted him to heal this thing. On that note, actually, where were the rest of those scary things? The door that Navitas was blocking was now wide open... no one seemed terrified, well maybe a little spooked. It had to be because of the wounded monster--er .. well whatever it was.
Sighing heavily, Koggles put Sider away and in exchange, took out his newest crystal, the water crystal. Unfortunately, he hadn't anytime to try and tinker with it, so it's powers were still dormant. "Okay, monster lady thing, just give me a second to extract the properties and... if the old coot was telling the truth, I should be able to heal you, kupo!" So with that, the moogle turned around and headed towards Ty, while he was holding onto the crystal tightly.
Was it a shock that he was concerned for him? It shouldn't be, they were already like best pals. Koggles got next to Ty and patted him with a paw. "Ty! How are ya feeling? This has been one crazy vacation huh? Kupopo~" He tried to at least be positive around the man, it definitely didn't start off good for anyone. The moogle was on his rump now, with little spheres encircling the crystal. What he was doing must have looked extremely complicated, moving small glowing orbs into places, with what looked to be ancient text that he was also reading. Finally, Koggles placed the last floating orb inside of a glyph and the sound of a key unlocking a door thudding around the tram. Koggles eyes lit up and he spun eagerly, clutching the crystal.
"This crystal is awesome! It's a little more powerful than I'm used to.. but your wound should be no problem, kupo!" With that word of encouragement, Koggles synced himself with the crystal, his fur gaining a small blue tint to it. Putting both paws where the wound was, a blue light appeared and other forms of energy that looked like water washed over the wound. In a matter of seconds, the skin was back to normal, and it had appeared as though there was nothing less than a scratch!
Koggles fur turned to normal and the crystal lost its luminous. The power consumption was incredible and the moogle was pretty distracted by it. The dark lady he had just healed, however, began to laugh one of those laughs. Koggles didn't notice it... oh boy. Was this one of those plot twist things? Hopefully not.
