"My uses would probably be best suited keeping an eye on the show. From our experience in the woods I get the feeling you are a bit better at spotting little details in a big crowd." The way she navigated the woods without any guide in the middle of the night was very impressive. Who better to keep an eye on everything than someone with that level of skill? "Any objections?"
The little goblins were still scattering about. One actually walked up to the table and refilled both of their glasses and put more food onto Tezerett's plate. This time it was a beef strogonoph with a side of garlic toast. Tez's eyes nearly grew to twice their size at the sight of the meal.
The show was nearing the second half of the first act. The ball in which Romeo meet's Juliet for the very first time. It was a romantic scene in which the trapeze and acrobats had a complicated routine that appeared like a dance. Tez noticed that even the ringleader was a part of this dance. She wore a elegant blue dress that sparkled in the light, she wasn't the star but she shone with such brightness that it made the whole cast raise their level of performance.
The little stout lump of a man walked his way over to Dr. Scream and took his attention away from the show. Dr. Scream just looked annoyed and shooed the little man away.

”Seems fair” In all honesty, Trish was a little disappointed that she wouldn’t be able to focus on the play, having actually been intrigued by the plot line. There would be so many unanswered questions. Maybe she could sneak a peek from time to time between surveillance. With a short sigh and another sip from her punch she began to study the large ballroom. The guests, as expected, all seemed affixed to the play, never looking away even when sticking their forks blindly to their plates in an attempt to continue eating.
Trish’s attention turned to Dr. Scream now, just as before he too was mesmerized by the play. His intense intrigue caused her to grow curious. What was happening on stage? The woman couldn’t help but focus on the play for just a moment, smiling at the romantic scene of Romeo and Juliet meeting for the first time. Regretfully, the woman turned her attention back to Dr. Scream just in time to notice him shoo away the lumpy man from before. What could have been so important to interrupt the host during the middle of the entertainment?
Without a word Trish rose from her feet, her entire focus on the lump of a creature that had just been dismissed by the Doctor. Trying to seem as casual as possible, Trish tucked her wings as well as she could behind her back and slowly weaved through the tables of guests as she followed her target. Her legs alone being close to the man’s height, her strides even when shortened by her heels quickly caught up to him. The moment she was next to him she stepped in front of him and cut him off from whatever destination he was attempting to reach. She knelt down until she was almost eye level and spoke in a hushed tone as to not to take much attention away from the show. ”What did you just tell him?”

The little man was surprised to be stopped by a woman who looked so hideous. An Angel defiling the wonder of this Hallowball… She stood there all tall and demanded to know what it was that he had said to Dr. Scream. Very disgruntled about the situation, the creature’s eye could only be seen in the area in which his hat met the collar of his shirt. Unable to see the features of his face, his voice just came out of the coat. ”I was just letting him know that more of the nights preparations are in order. Nothing that concerns you Angel…go back to your seat.” His tone was very rude and held no patience for any more questions. The little guy just turned in his spot and continued on his way. He was mumbling things under his breath like, “hideous woman…getting in my way.”
A couple of goblins stopped by Trish and offered her a glass of punch and a cookie; it was just a simple little peanut butter cookie. Behind the little goblins the guy who just walked away was now walking into what seemed like a kitchen. He quietly entered the room through the door and made sure that it shut behind him as quietly as possible.
The show was at the part of the play in which the character Mercutio was teasing Romeo over his previous love. Romeo was now climbing an impossible rope that reached up to the ceiling in order to speak with his fair love in the famous balcony scene.
Tez was mesmerized at what he was watching he barely noticed the desert present itself in front of him. The moment he did notice he turned to Trish to see what she got for her desert and noticed that she was now missing. Confused Tez looked around the room to see if he could get a glimpse of his Angel. Once he caught sight of her Tez weighed the option of pursuing just to make sure that everything was okay. The two had agreed to keep an eye on the audience and the show separately, but Tez didn’t want to leave Trish on her own. Being careful not to disturb anyone, Tez snuck his way over to Trish’s location.

Trish seemed a bit surprised, how did he know her name. It took a moment for the woman to remember what she was ironically dressed as, and even longer to remember that her name wasn’t Angel. Trish couldn’t help but grin at the fact of how easily Tezerett had gotten into her head like that.
Any sign of enjoyment was quickly quashed as the man’s tone almost seemed to chastise the woman. Hideous?! Trish scowled as she caught the man’s passive aggressive insults. She wasn’t ugly…was she? Her hand wandered up to the blindfold around her eyes and her frown deepened. She shook her head, trying to keep her attention on the man. It didn’t matter whether she was ugly or not, she hadn’t been hired for her looks.
Though the man gave her no reason to not believe him, her intuition told her otherwise. Keeping her focus on his aura, she allowed him to vanish behind one of the doors, hoping that his energy would be distinguishable for her to track him later. She waited a couple moments to make it seem that she had simply accepted his snarky response. As she stood near the door, she noticed somebody headed towards her quite a bit taller than the goblins. As she seemed to be swarmed by the small monsters she kept her focus on him, absent mindedly accepting the punch and cookie. It didn’t take her long to notice it was Tezerett. Why had he followed her? Well…Maybe she should have said something before she left. As he neared her she gave him a faint smile and continued to speak in a hushed tone as to not disturb the guests. ”I want to know what that lump is up to.” With no further explanation she turned and opened the door the creature had entered just a minute before.
Trish stepped into the kitchen, softly shutting the door behind her. She placed the drink and cookie she was given on the closest counter as she began to make her way through the hectic room. In the middle was yet another group of goblins preparing the next batch of punch which was to go out to the guests. She paid little attention to the process, continuing to focus on the lumps aura and begin to close the gap, wherever that would lead her.

What the lump was up to? Tez wasn't sure what Trish was talking about. Before he could ask for an explanation Trish went through the door. This left Tez with a very perplexing situation. He could stay and watch the show, or follow Trish and make sure nothing was going to blow up in her face. Tez looked back and forth a couple of times. A once in a life time show, or his friend, with a deep sigh his choice was already made.
The audience applauded as Romeo and Juliet shared their first kiss. Over the audience, hundreds of feet in the air the two shared their kiss. As Tez was walking through the door he couldnt help but be a little mesmerized. "Must be pretty romantic to kiss in the middle of the air like that." That was the last thing he saw as he closed the door behind him.
Little goblins littered the kitchen. Running about, cooking food, making punch. The fact that they all moved in such unison was a feat all its own. Each little creature knew where it had to be and when. Looking above knee height Tez could see that Trish was heading towards the back of the kitchen. When Tez caught up with her he saw the little lump of a man and he was talking to some of the goblins. "Okay, once the show is nearing it's end Dr. Scream will propose a toast, when that happens make sure every guest has one glass of bubbly at their disposal. He will then announce the..." He stopped as he saw the two approaching. He shooed the goblin away and turned to his unwanted guests "Shouldn't you two be enjoying the party. I am sure those were Dr. Screams orders. I am 100% positive he didn't say you should get in our way while we try to do our jobs." With that said he climbed a stepping stool and stirred a large pot of punch. Looking around it looked like a distillery of the fruity beverage. It was more liquid than actual food in this entire kitchen. Tez was a little concerned at the thought of the guests intaking such vast quantities of punch.
"I'm sure we will be out of your way soon, just making sure everything is in order yeah? Let's go back to our seat Angel" Tez offered his arm again to escort her back to their table.

If Trish could still use her eyes she would have given the lump the most potent glare she could muster but her body language would hopefully have to do. ”I am first security for this event, and then a guest.” She growled in response, not buying a word the creature said. ”I’m going to be watching you…” With that said she took Tezerett’s arm and allowed him to escort her from the kitchen.
”I don’t like him. What’s if he’s messing with the food, the punch maybe?” Trish continued to speak quietly as the two walked back into the ballroom. If they had messed with the food…she and Tezerett would be screwed. She knew that Dr. Scream had instructed for them to enjoy the night but it was difficult when an unknown threat could jump out at any moment. The woman let out a long sigh, trying to persuade herself to calm down. It was just a ball…what was the worst that could happen?
Trish stopped in her tracks as she took a moment to focus back on the play, or lack thereof… The stage was gone. They had been in the kitchen for less than a minute…what? All that was left of the show was the ringleader who stood in the middle of where the stage, reciting what she could only assume were the next lines of the play. Where was the show? ”Now Romeo is beloved and loves again, Alike betwitched by the charm of looks, But to his foe supposed he must complain, And she steal love's sweet bait from fearful hooks:” Like magic the scene began to unfold before the audience in a brilliant display of lights and fireworks. Actors seemed to materialize right out of the air and the guests erupted in applause. Slowly Trish began her walk towards their seats again. As she sat down she realized her entrée had been replaced by a raspberry crème Brule. The woman had yet to break the hard sugary covering but her mouth was already watering. Her thoughts turned back to the lump…Well, he only seemed like he was messing with the punch… Trish picked up her spoon, ready to take a bite out of the delightful desert.

The two back in their seats enjoyed the show until intermission hit. The stage vanished and most of the performers along with it. Left on stage was the Ringleader and she announced that the cast and crew would be taking a fifteen minute intermission to set up for the second half of the show. The audience cheered and wen't back to their meals. Tez leaned back in his chair letting out a grunt of satisfaction. "Phew I can't eat another bite." He says as he takes one last bite of his apple pie. His stomach so full of food he thought he was about to burst. As he let's out an drawn out sigh he reaches for his glass and takes another sip of the punch. "All and all I would say that so far the show is good, the food is great and not a criminal to be seen. . . Not that I am sure what a criminal would look like here." He picked up his spoon and started examining himself in it's reflection.
Tez was inspecting his new look as the Ringleader approached from behind.
"I'm sure you would know a criminal when you saw it fire starter. While this world may be a slew of creature, they still have genuine smiles and body language. I mean look at our host over there. If he brims with any more joy and happiness he might actually explode." Tez put the spoon down quickly and the embers in his face started to burn a deep crimson red. He wasn't sure if he looked like a total fool or just an average guy. Turning his head he looked over at the host. He really was the life of the party right now, a smile from ear to ear and enthusiastically engaging his guests. The party was going well.
"Let's hope the party stays on the simple path it's been on. I wouldn't want to be on his warpath if something were to go wrong." Tez decided to take one sweep of the audience while everyone was talking amongst themselves. Looking at the facial expressions, Tez realized that the young lady was right. Through all the strange and grotesque features of the halloween town world, the people here still had the same smiles and laughs as any other world. So the real trick was sorting the deceivers from the party guests.

Trish had barely touched her food, maybe just a couple absent minded spoon fools as she took another survey of the room about her before taking a moment to focus on the play again. It had been so long since she had actually sat down for a real meal she wasn’t used to the large portion, the decadent options she wanted to eat it all but again, what if something had been done to the food? The woman let out a short sigh, again reminding herself to stop overreacting as she took another hesitant bite from the delicacy before putting her spoon down again.
As the ringleader spoke once again to Tezerett the conversation sparked a question she had never really thought about before. Would Tezerett be able to identify a threat? If he was able to do that, would he be able to carry out his job if the need arose? She didn’t think he was by any means stupid, but if he had been telling the truth in the jungle, he’d never taken a life before. A part of her didn’t want him to experience that side of life; he seemed so nice it would be sure to change him. After all, she could always step in when the time came.
”Genuine smiles are worn best by cunning wit and foul intentions…” Trish scoffed at the ringleader, shifting in her seat slightly as she tried to tuck her wings behind her once more. She kept her hands in her lap, occasionally fussing with the folds of her dress. ”Don’t you have other guests to entertain or something?” As much as she tried not to show it, the fact that the woman constantly came back to Tezerett bugged her. Why was she so interested in him? She scowled as his cheeks began to burn just a bit brighter by her presence alone. She wasn’t that pretty; her moves on stage weren’t that impressive. What did he see that was so desirable in her?

"Come on Angel don't be like that. I think that we can trust each and every one of these smiling faces. The devil inside them is another story." Trust everyone, just don't trust the devil inside them. A quote that his master was always saying whenever Tez had a job with anyone.
The Ringleader looked at Trish in response to her remark. "I do have guests to entertain, all of which didn't get up and leave in the middle of the performance. So I figured I would pay you both a visit to see if you were liking the show." The tone of her voice was stern but her smile was kind and her eyes were friendly. This was a lady Tez knew would be bad news if ever on her bad side. "To be honest you two are probably the most interesting guests here. The rest are all highly respected individuals, but for Dr. Scream to hire you two as the only security for this entire ball. There must be something special to you, and what can I say...I'm curious." She smiled and turned around to return to the ballroom floor. Tez watched her as she walked away. There was something about her, an air that seemed almost familiar. Beneath all the smiles she seemed to be harboring something else. Tez took a mental note to keep an eye on her. Maybe he was curious as well.
Turning over to Trish, "Nothing is happening so far, think we could try to enjoy the rest of the show?"

”I…What?” Trish seemed flustered by Tezerett’s response. The devil inside them is another story? The woman felt frantic as she grabbed tight to her dress in an attempt at subduing bursting out at the man. Did he know? He had to know, but how? Was it really just a figure of speech he used or a nonchalant remark directed towards her as a gentle reminder of what threat she could pose to the ball under the wrong circumstances? As soon as her fingers relaxed enough to release her grip on the garment her right hand strayed to the cloth wrapped around her eyes. He couldn’t know, how would he know?
The woman’s thoughts were interrupted as the ringleader replied in a stern, almost authoritative voice. Trish was a bit surprised that the ringleader had noticed she had left the room, even a brief exit. Had she focused on them specifically? Well, if she was the only one she might have been pretty easy to point out, she was a little too tall and her heels were a little too loud on the marble floor to be considered stealthy. She let out a soft sigh and let the ring leader continue with her spiel.
Her frown deepened as the woman pointed out that her and Tezerett were most likely the two most interesting subjects there. She didn’t care how curious or well-known and respected this woman was, she wasn’t learning anything about her. All she needed to know was that she had been asked for security, and that’s how it was going to stay. She couldn’t be more glad to watch her turn from the table and walk back towards the stage.
Trish folded her arms across her chest and turned her attention back to Tezerett as he spoke. ”Yeah, whatever.” She mumbled. The ring leader had seemed to win Tezerett over to her side, what did he see in her?

The show resumed and the audience was captivated once more. The Blue Moon Circus lived up to its reputation. Flawless music sent shivers down the spines of the citizens. Captivating stunts and acrobatics. A flawlessly choreographed and written play. All the elements were working perfectly with this group of performers and the audience just ate it up. This once in a lifetime opportunity could only be witnessed by the most fortunate. Tez was pleased to say that he was one so fortunate. Under his breath he couldn't help but mutter, "If only the crew could be here too." He watched in awe as the circus reached the climax of the show. The main characters center stage, spotlight. They were the only two that could be seen. As Romeo died and Juliet awoke from her slumber, many sobs could be heard from throughout the hall. The only other sound was the voice of Juliet as she cried out for her love to come back once more, taken by the hands of a poison. With the dagger in hand she plunged it into her breast and fell to the ground the effects were so thought out that a pool of blood gathered onto the floor. The lights dimmed and nothing could be seen. One clap broke the silence of the darkness and was soon followed by many more. The lights came up and the cast and crew were all standing together and took their bow. Tez joined the audience as they all stood in a standing ovation for the amazing performance.
The ringleader stood in front after the stars had their bow. "I am very pleased to see that you all enjoyed the show, we will be staying the evening and joining your dance if you would like to come and speak with us. Please enjoy your night and let may you find that one worth dying for." Her and her cirque bowed once more as music began to play and the lights dimmed to set the mood as the dance to find the one to dance with commenced.
Tez turned to Trish and offered his hand, "may I have the first dance Angel?"

Trish remained focused mostly on the play for the rest of its duration, only taking an occasional sweep of the crowd maybe every few minutes. The tale of unrequited love seemed far too familiar to her, she felt stupid for falling into that trap with Zett. For a while she could have sworn he liked her back… What had she done wrong? That moment on the beach, when he without a word simply ran from her, she still didn’t understand it. As she focused on the scene she couldn’t help but wish she had a way out as simple as Juliets.
The woman was happy to note that the play had gone off without a hitch, and so far any threat had failed to show itself. All that was left was the dance and she could finally put this whole night behind her. She listened as the ringleader announced the beginning of the dance to find the one worth dying for.
Trish’s face instantly turned bright red as he asked her to dance. ”Uh…”She hesitated, continuing to face the table as if to avoid the man’s stare. She felt like a broken record as her thoughts once again turned back to Zett. Zett was the last one to dance with her…how long ago had it been? It didn’t seem too long since they had shared that night together. It also didn’t seem too long since he left her with no word of when they’d see each other again. What if Tezerett was the same way? She wasn’t sure if she could handle that sort of pain again.
Anyway, after her discussion with his teacher, she doubted that he’d risk his life for her anyway. ”I’m okay, I was never really one for dancing…” She mumbled, resting her head in her hands as she watched the lords and ladies begin to make their way towards the dance floor. The woman let out a soft sigh as she stretched her wings out, more than anything did she want that night to be over.

Watching Trish frantically struggle with a decision to deny Tez the dance was a little interesting. Tez rarely saw her stumble over herself. There was a certain feeling of satisfaction watching her stammer over something so simple. "Come on, if I dont dance with you now we might be too busy for one later." Tez extended his hand once more in hopes that she would take it. With the nights most active festivities the party may become too hecktick for the two of them to enjoy any time to relax. While the circus drew everyones eyes and kept their focus on one thing, the chaos of a dance made the ideal situation for some kind of crime.
Before Trish could respond to Tez's request the ringleader approached them once more. She was now in a deep blue ball gown with light blue accents spiraling up her dress, her back was exposed down to the small of her back. Hair drawn down and lightly curled to give it a little bit of life, but not too much to be out of control. Her cat ears poked out of her hair and twitched once in a while during conversation. The rest of her ensemble completed her outfit with gloves that extended to her elbow. They were a sky blue color. Her attire had a gradient effect of dark blue at the bottom and lightening up to the top. The spiraling dots did the reverse, light blue at the bottom and darkened as the went higher on the dress.
Addressing the two she smiled, "I would hope that the two of you are not too busy as to ignore a dance with myself at some point this evening. Now that the show is over I feel I must introduce myself. With a courtesy in Trish's direction, "My name is Sasha Muse, it's a pleasure to cordially meet you two."
Tez smiled and bowed in response, "Tezzerett Lethar, it is a pleasure to officially make your acquaintance." Tez stopped talking to give Trish the chance to introduce herself.

”Tezerett…”Trish was about to deny Tezerett a second time when she suddenly noticed the ringleader approaching. She quickly accepted his hand and rose from her seat. Sadly she wasn’t quick enough to shoo him towards the dance floor to avoid another confrontation with the woman. She simply glowered at her, expecting her to try to steal Tezerett away the moment she had a chance.
What she wasn’t expecting was a dance with each of them. A look of bewilderment fell over Trish, she had never heard of women dancing with other women. Well, it was certainly feasible but she had never witnessed it. Who would even take the lead? She seemed distracted as she tried to work through the dilemma in her head. Would the more experienced person take lead, or the more dominant, or the most manly?
Oh, uh.” Trish stumbled as she noticed the pause in conversation as Tezerett waited for her to introduce herself to Sasha. ”Trish Emery.” She stated flatly as she gave the ringleader a short curtsy.
”So…Are we gonna have that dance or what?” Trish honestly just wanted to be away from the pesky woman. Maybe she wanted to dance just so she could get pull more information from them rather than to enjoy the evening events.

While Tez was certain that Trish was referencing his invitation for a dance. Sasha interrupted immediately and took a hold of Trish's hand accepting her "offer" to dance. "Dancing is preferred right now, or what can come later." Tez was a little surprised by the sudden changes in the situation. While he was trying to dance with one girl, his partner got stolen away before he could even say..."What?"
Dragging Trish out onto the dance floor, the music came from one boy. He seemed to be playing all the music by himself, possibly by the use of some kind of magic. Placing her right hand on Trish's waist, Sasha took hold of Trish's left hand in hers. "I hope you don't mind me leading, I kind of prefer it from time to time." The charismatic ringleader was letting off an air of nervousness as she began to lightly step to the beat of the music. "I hope you don't mind my sudden steal for a dance. I don't think we will get the chance any time soon so I couldn't help but take you while I could ya know?" Sasha could feel her face getting warm as she took in the woman before her. Sasha was a girl who didn't really mind whom she got to know personally. In the back of her mind she enjoyed both of the body guards and wanted to get to know them both, but there was something about this Trish Emery that Sasha couldn't help but be interested in.

Trish let out a short gasp at the woman’s sudden grab, attempting to flinch away but her hold was tight. ”But-“ Her head turned to Tezerett as if she was asking for help to save her from the unpredictable woman, but he simply stood there seemingly just as flabbergasted as her. The ringleader didn’t even give her an opportunity to refuse the dance before pulling her away from her partner and towards the dance floor. She reluctantly followed after, not wanting to make a scene by lashing out while the guests were enjoying themselves so thoroughly.
She appeared anxious as Sasha placed her hand on her waist. Not sure what to do with her free hand she hesitated for a moment before placing it on her dance partner’s waist. As Sasha began to speak she was almost glad to note the anxious tone in her voice, but why was it even there? Was she nervous from the thought of pulling some trick on her, was there some ulterior motive to this dance? As Sasha continued to speak her curiosity for why she was on the dance floor with this woman increased.
She continued to focus on the woman’s footwork, trying to follow as best she could. “What would make you think there wouldn’t be a chance later?” Trish skipped past the formalities and replying to her previous statements and immediately asked what seemed to stand out to her. There had been no disturbance during neither the dinner nor the dance, why would the danger begin now? The woman let out a soft sigh, again reminding herself to calm down, there was probably nothing to worry about. Slowly Trish turned her focus from the woman’s feet to her face, finally noticing the extra energy it gave off. There was no way she was tired from this…was she blushing? The simple observation of it embarrassed her, causing her to blush in return. She quickly bowed her head as if she was focusing on her feet again to hide the fact.

While Trish was asking her question Sasha moved the hand Trish placed on her hip and moved it to her shoulder, then placed her hand back on Trish's waist. "While my job here is done, you and the fire starter have jobs of your own to do tonight. As much as I would like to, it would be rude to be a total distraction." While Sasha would enjoy being the one with all the attention from these two other worlders, she did have a duty to her public to meet and greet as well.
Tez stood off to the side watching as the two danced on the floor. It was interesting to see Trish not refusing so much, Tez smiled at the thought that she might actually be enjoying herself. In the midst of the dancing Tez looked around to make sure no one was doing anything out of the ordinary. Many of the guests were standing around and laughing at some jokes or stories from other noble looking people. Goblins ran around refilling drinks and making sure that the snacks at the table were well stocked. "At least we know there will always be food." Tez laughed as he gripped his very full stomach. He couldn't even imagine taking another bite to eat.
Sasha noticed that the song was nearing it's end. The more time she swayed to the rhythm of the music the less nervous she felt and the more a calm wave came over her. Sasha moved her hand to Trish's back in order to pull her in closer. Trish was only about an inch away from Sasha now. Sasha took a good look at the pale skinned girl as she watched her own feet in order to stay in time. The music was reaching it's final progression and Sasha took the hand that was holding Trish's hand and slowly reached up and lightly took hold of her chin and lifted Trish's face up to meet her own. Sasha held their lips together until the song diminished into nothing. Once they parted Sasha felt warm in the face and smiled back at her dance partner biting her lower lip. "Thanks the dance." She said as she took steps back and away from Trish, "Let's do it again later." She turned on one foot and wen't back to talk with the crowd of fans.
Tezzerett didn't see anything for he was busy watching as Dr. Scream was merrily meeting the members of the cirque. Tez wondered if it would be okay to get some of their autographs to take back home to his crew sometime.

Trish fidgeted against Sasha’s touch as her hand slid to her back and she began to feel herself being drawn closer to the woman. ”Uh, Sasha” She mumbled, trying to find the easiest way to let the woman know she was too close without causing a scene for the guests, but she wasn’t quick enough. Gently the ringleader tucked her hand under her chin and raised her head so they were level with each other.
Trish’s mind went completely blank and her body ceased the natural swaying momentum they had created the moment their lips touched. Her wings stretched out as her face turned a bright red. Her hands instinctively released the woman but had not gone far enough as to push her way before she drew herself away from the kiss.
She just stood there in the middle of the dance floor, completely stunned until a couple of waltzing ghouls bumped into her. As she stumbled forward her head finally seemed to reboot and she spun around in Tezerett’s direction to see his reaction to what had happened, then back to Sasha, then back to Tezerett, then back to Sasha again. Had that really just happened? Her hand drifted up to her lips, she could almost still feel her there. Was that how she finished all of her dances? A part of her felt like she should be angry at the woman for violating her, but oddly her feelings were more of confusion than aggression.
Trish’s mind was still abuzz with conflicting thoughts as she wandered back over to Tezerett who had remained where she had left him. ”I, uh…” She mumbled, her focus still on the woman across the room rather than her partner. ”Parties winding down right, we can go now?” Her voice was rushed and anxious, and even the shortest glance about the ballroom made it clear that the party just seemed to be getting started. Sasha’s words were still ringing in her head Let’s do this again later. She didn’t want to do it again later, she wanted to be done with this ridiculous night.

Tez was very unsure of what just happened with his partner, but her sudden rush to get out was a bit alarming. "What are you talking about? The party is just getting started." Tez looked around the party. He was on edge now worried that she noticed something. "Did you find something out? Is there something wrong?"
Amidst the dancing and the flustered security, a woman entered the party late. She wore a white gown tattered with moths and a white mask of lace to compliment. Dr. Scream welcomed her with open arms. The two kissed each other on the cheek and escorted her into the ballroom. While the ballroom was filled with creatures and beings from other worlds, she was the only one who wore a mask. Dr. Scream didn't seem to mind in fact he complimented her her apparel. While she looked fairly stunning to the average eye, the members of the Halloween world also looked to her with utmost appreciation.
Soon behind her came a fairly muscular man, who's suit seemed a little too tight for him. He wore a black suit with a white dress shirt. Black bow tie and a matching white mask. He found where his wife had been taken and slowly approached from behind, placing his hand on her waist. The two looked happy to be joining the party and every one else welcomed them with open arms.

”What? No!” Trish exclaimed waving at the man as if to hurriedly dismiss any unnerving thoughts she may have brought up. She finally turned her attention fully to her partner, her face turning a bright crimson red once more as she tried to cover up what had just happened. ”Nothing’s wrong, why would you think there’s anything wrong? Nothing happened if that’s what you mean.”
”I just uh…” She mumbled, struggling to keep a conversation with the man as she tried to pick out the ringleader from the rest of the crowd. ”We’ve been here all night and nothing’s happened, what’s the point of staying until the end anyway?” There she was. She wasn’t doing anything, just standing there talking to the guests, why wasn’t she dancing with anyone else? The woman was so focused on Sasha, she completely missed the new arrivals and they soon simply faded into the background of intermingling guests. She had said she wanted to dance with both of them, why hadn’t she run off with Tezerett yet? None of it made sense.
Then again, maybe it didn’t happen, maybe it was some weird physical hallucination, anything? There was no way she could…Trish shook her head as if to throw off any possibilities the woman was actually interested in her. She knew what it was, it was a trick, she was just trying to pull information from her. The idea seemed to calm her a bit. Yes, a trick. Girls weren’t supposed to like girls anyway, right? But still the woman’s voice continued to ring through her head. Let’s do this again later.
