Eek. When Arin started going into detail about his keyblade, JessY was sorry she asked. She wasn't going to take the fun out of this one though, she would listen complacently until he asked a more important question. WEll, did she have an answer! "Yeah no clue what happened exactly but he heard her name and then just zonked out like-- did I already make the sleeping beauty joke already? ...Whatever doesn't matter. He's more or less 'fixed'." Short and sweet. She didn't feel like recounting the hardship of drilling his forehead, seemed like an unnecessary detail to her. Point is, they got what they came here for.
Before she could ask for everyone to leave however, Arin decided that he had more to say. A heartfelt compliment, actually. Well, at least it was rolled up her favorite flavor: brutal honesty. JessY made a single grunt that sounded like a breath of laughter. "No, I'm still a horrible person, trust me. This is just what I do." She tried as hard as possible to shake off the compliment. She didn't need people getting the wrong idea. Sure, she did good and what was right most of the time, but she would be afraid that no one would want to even be associated to her if they knew what went on in her head half the time.
That aside, turns out Prythian was the real hero among them, saving her from this awkward conversation by mumbling and triggering Arin to speak more on his behalf. Time to take this as far away from her as possible! "No kidding. Good thing this wasn't a broadcast of a TV show; it'd take three seasons and a movie to get to this point." Okay, that was a pretty bad joke. She almost wanted to give away the subject she was making fun of in particular, but maybe another time. "Should we get him out of here, or?"

Arin shrugged his shoulders when JessY shrugged off the compliment, he didn't expect a thanks or anything in return "Duly noted. If we cross paths again, at least I know I can trust you."
Then, Prythian's light started kicking up, and JessY started making odd comments after Arin pointed out the crystalized boy was repairing himself, something he didn't understand "Yeah...I don't know what that means, but I'll take your word for it." That was when JessY asks the inevitable question, she clearly wanted to leave.
"If you can get us out of this castle, that would be appreciated. I can get us out of here myself with a dark corridor, but it's always a crap shoot when I use them. I could very well end up in the dark realm if I'm not careful."
He looked at Prythian, who was still shin in brightly, forcing Arin to squint his eyes and look away again "My only concern is should we even move him like this."

Prythian was nearly finished with his work. Much like a mundane jigsaw, as he continued, the easier and clearer it became. Soon there was just one hole left, and one piece that would fit perfectly in it... and this was the final challenge, for that fragment was the mage who had attempted to kill him several times. As Prythian held it, he felt the rage and hate trying to destroy him. You will play an important part in this... Prythian communicated to it. ...perhaps the most important. With your strong desire to eradicate evil... especially the evil you believe me to be... everything I do wrong, every action I take that could lead to evil... you will let me know. You will be my conscience. The fragment almost seemed to calm down when he told it that.
When he fit it into the hold, there was almost an audible click, and he looked upon... upon... he couldn't describe it. The true shape of a soul, the many things that made it up, they were impossible to truly explain. However, knowing what his soul now was... he was at peace. All of his concerns about being born of something evil meant nothing now. As he gazed upon it, it began to glow, softly at first, then brighter, more intense, until he tried to look away. But without an actual body, there was no way to avoid the light blinding him in the darkness.
At the moment it became unbearable, he woke up. The light around him broke around in shards, vanishing. He didn't actually seem any better on the surface; he was still covered in cracks with holes in his body. But he placed his hands on the ground, and then stood up, blinking. "...Huh." He looked down at himself. "The damage is already irreversible... but at least this should slow the deterioration down. But I wonder..." He held out one hand in a familiar pose. At first, nothing happened, and Prythian's eyes filled with determination. Then erupting from the ground came a pillar of crystal, encasing his hand and filling with light as it traveled to the ceiling, before melting away and leaving behind a Keyblade.
It was like his previous one, formed entirely out of a translucent, glittering crystal. It was carved gracefully, every part of it cut into facets, filled with a soft multicolored light. The tip protruded upwards into a diamond-like spike, and next to it, where the teeth would be, there was a sphere of intense light hovering there, not quite connected to the rest of the Keyblade. Its keychain was an eight-pointed star of crystal. Prythian looked at it for a while, before dismissing it, looking at JessY. "Thanks. Without your help, I don't think we've ever made it this far. Is there something I can do to repay you? Anything I can give?" He glanced at Arin. "Same goes for you as well."

And to JessY, that would be a big if. Trust was one of her main gigs, she knew it very intimately and how to apply it and generally can interpret what it means to others, but it seems Arin was on board to count on JessY being reliable in stressful situations. She certainly was, no doubt about it, but unless she was already invested into an issue she wouldn't be dependable to start new ones she had no motivation to get involved with. Working with Arin was... eh, dodgey at best, but if they both happened to be working on the same task again she could deal. One thing she'd have to give him credit for was putting up with her personality, normally people give up on her way sooner. That was pretty valuable in its own right.
JessY shrugged herself in return to Arin's comment. "That's one way to put it." She managed to somewhat agree with what he said, but didn't go into detail. It worked. She almost busted out laughing when Arin failed to understand her Earthly comment, but she expected confusion. She wouldn't reply, it was hardly necessary. That worked too, since he was grateful for a way out of this place only with some mild concerns. Fortunately, there didn't seem to be any need to worry! Reaching behind her, JessY pulled out her mysterious ocarina, a small oval with a protrusion and two straight lines of holes. She casually flipped it up and down in her hand.
"Yeah, getting out of here is covered, no idea where we'd end up honestly but we're in that kind-of 'anywhere is better than here' situation, no? But I agree, let's wait a little first, I'm in no rush. Just say the word and I'll--" Welp, waiting not required, as Prythian answered all of the questions surrounding him in one fluid motion. Standing up. "'Ey, you're awake! Welcome back; again!" It was funny because she already woke him up once, but it was so short lived and specifically induced that he probably didn't even remember what happened. If he did, she would be amazed, but it was no matter.
In a blinding spectacle, the damaged construct even managed to summon his own keyblade. Cool beans, seems everyone was getting a happy ending. She was content as well, though she wasn't so outwardly happy it showed. Well, yet. Prythian looked at her and began expressing his immense gratitude, and it was hearing his kind words that made her produce a genuine smile. It's... honestly been a little while since she's done something so selfless to help someone. In her fantasies she was usually a heroic type, or at least on the good side. Usually anyway. Practically living in one of her dreams now, her morality slouched and fell even greater when she met JeY, becoming far more self-oriented and seeking only the situation that worked in her favor. There was nothing she could possibly get from this little excursion however, except knowing she did the right thing.
The smile faded after a few moments, but not on purpose. "Nah. There's really nothing you could provide for me that I'd want; no offense. Besides, like I was telling this lunk earlier, it's just what I do." It seemed everyone was getting all sappy on her, which really didn't help since she was normally the type to embrace emotions, but she had to try really hard to stay cool and collected. This was just too rich; an adventure she never would've imagined living out. "Though, if and when we leave and we end up in a town, I'd be happy to buy everyone some food and drink. I bet'cha folks could really use a nice meal." She was serious, though. No sarcasm or fake inflections. Of course, that was if they landed in a town. There was no idea where her random warp incantation would take them.

Arin shrugged when JessY gave another nonchalant response to his reply, already expecting neutral answers from the strange girl. She paid her witty remarks no real mind when Prythian woke up and started throwing excessive strings of thank your and gratitude "Easy there, no need to get sappy on us." He gave JessY a brief dull glance when she called him a lug, but shrugged it off as her just being who she is.
When Prythian summoned his new keyblade, he grinned "Looks like you got what you needed too. Maybe now we can stop that old man from doing to other keyblade wielders what he did to us."
When the offer for a free meal came up from JessY, Arin's eyebrow raised, still grinning "Offering to feed us too eh? Well, I'm not one to turn down a free meal before we part ways...Unless you want to tag along and help us stop someone who's destroying the keyblades of people who don't deserve it."
(purely maintaining the plot line with this, this might be the end of the story if Xand doesn't come back)

Prythian nodded. "I could use a free meal, I've lost quite a bit of energy over this last bit. And besides, that means Arin and I can plan about taking on the guy who destroyed our Keyblades. We need a plan. And since we're going to have to start trying to track him down, first..." He sighed. "Radiant Garden should be a good place to both get a meal and try to find him, given that that's where we fought. So if no one minds..." He summoned his Keyblade and looked at it carefully. "Let's see, this isn't like my old one... How do I...?"
Suddenly, he blinked, as if seeing something inside the Keyblade. "Oh. That's a lot simpler than the last transport I had. Right." He glanced at Arin and JessY, before swinging his Keyblade away from the two of them. The ball of light flew from the end of it, leaving only a slender blade like a spike, while the ball expanded into a swirling vortex of color. "That should take us to Radiant Garden. On our way, then?"

Seems everything was back to normal and all in order. Perfect. Now she just needed to hope that her own ways of travel would be fortunate to them. She was about to respond to Arin and his half-request as well as ask if they were ready until Prythian spoke up once more, however. She was slightly confused - not about needing a plan and getting to Radiant Garden, but at what the boy was trying to do. Did he has some sort of mechanism to transport himself or all of them to-- well never mind!
An energy ball of light made its way over and created a vortex. That explains everything, and was ten times more convenient then what JessY had planned. "Radiant Garden? Perfect." JessY put her small instrument behind her and slid it where she originally pulled it from. Wouldn't be needing that anymore. "I'll think about tagging along more, though for now, yes, eating. Le'ggo." She wouldn't mind leading the way through the portal, being very familiar with how they work already.

Arin just shrugged as Prythian led the way this time, touching the metal ring around his left wrist and enveloping his body in his black coat. He wasn't sure how this portal worked, if it was similar to his dark corridors, or if it was something different, so he flipped his hood up and followed JessY through the portal "Works for me." ((Well, I'm not starting it, so I guess it's gonna be Pryth's job ))

Prythian smiled briefly as the other two started heading through the portal, looking at his Keyblade. Something told him that if he fought the man again... this Keyblade wouldn't break like his last one. It had taken him a while to come up with a name for his last Keyblade, and he hadn't been really satisfied with it... Translucent Soul as a name had more to do with what the Keyblade represented than anything about the Keyblade itself. But this time... as JessY and Arin vanished into the swirling color, Prythian somehow knew this Keyblade's name, just as he'd known how to open a portal with it. "You are..." He murmured aloud. "...Prism Star." And with that, he turned and walked through the portal, which slowly shrunk down into a point of light, vanishing. (( Here we go, then))
