At the woman's reassurance he laid his head on her chest. He felt a bit embarrassed but was so tired he barely cared. As the woman kept answering questions he slowly lost conscience, and slept. He snored quietly as he slept curling up against her. Looking more child like then ever, he moved slowly in his sleep: tossing and turning lightly against her. He was at one of the few moments of pure peace and quiet.
The longer he slept the longer his dream lasted. At first it was weird, he was with the woman somewhere special having a great time. It was perfect and he mumbled in his sleep. "Yes this is my first time." He said quietly against her chest smiling in his sleep. As he almost went in for the kiss in the dream everything melted into darkness. He saw the spirits scream and yell at him, as he fell back. This is why he never slept, he couldn't take it, he wanted to get away, he wanted to wake up, but he couldn't.
"WAKE ME UP!" He screamed at the top of his lungs as he began thrashing around.

As Bishop rested his head on her chest, Megumi raised an eyebrow but smiled nevertheless. Wow, I let the kid lie next to me and he goes and does that... ah, never mind that. Even if he did mean anything by it - and I'm sure there's more chance of him growing an extra head than that - they do say life loves a tryer... That thought, she just put her arms around him somewhat comfortingly and lay back against the wall again, closing her eyes and returning to the sleep she'd fallen into. ~*~ Alone in the forest she stood with the bodies of several enemies lying unconscious around her. She had won this fight; all on her own, Megumi had prevailed over all who opposed her. A grin crossed the woman's face as she stuck the sword she for some reason had in this dream firmly into the ground - which was suddenly malleable enough for it to go straight through with ease - and flexed her right arm with pride.
"Let that be a lesson to you, morons," the woman declared, "of what happens when you screw around with Megumi Nakamura. Now, if you'll excuse this fine lady soldier here, I'm late for my date with Bishop."
And with that, she pulled her sword from the earth and then--
--Wait, wait a minute, what?~*~ Megumi awoke with a slight jolt and a bit of a gasp around ten minutes after she had went to sleep the first time. With Bishop still sleeping against her chest, she looked about. Thankfully all was as it should have been; still in the room in the castle with no soldiers, no dates and no forest. That was strange... very much so, she groaned in her mind as she rubbed an eye. Bishop started shifting a bit against her, and she looked down at him. Sleeping like a little 'un. It made her smile a bit before she fell asleep again. ~*~ "But moooom!" cried a Megumi who was meant to be much younger than she actually was, dressed in terrible clothes which looked suspiciously like Earth's 1980's fashions with her hair piled high on top of her head and stamping her foot at a woman (who didn't look too much younger than her.) With pained eyes, she looked at her and said with determination, "I'm telling you that he's the only one I wanna go to the prom with! I wanna go out and meet him!"
Prom? Did Megumi even have prom where she came from? Well she did in the lame '80s sitcom dream anywho. Megumi's 'mom' - a blonde in a high-collared coat who looked nothing like her or her real mom, holding a cigarette in her right hand - shook her head with a stern expression. "I'm sorry sugah," she said in a strange Southern accent, "but you can't go out to see that young boy with that strange book, no way and no how, hunny-bun."
An audience booed loudly at the woman's comment. Megumi's eyes, covered in eyeliner and with the biggest fake eyelashes ever, shone with tears, and the audience began to 'aww~' with their sympathies. "B-But mom," she stuttered in a great contrast to her actual self (who would have likely just snorted and told her mom she'd see who she wanted since she was twenty-freakin'-five while going to put on a lower-cut dress.)
Megumi's (not) mom turned to the 'camera' of this sitcom-- uh, dream, and smirked a little bit. "Because... that boy's already here to take you to the prom, sugah!" she suddenly cried with excitement as she opened the door to reveal Bishop there as the audience practically screamed in glee; after all, he was a very popular character on this show and everyone wanted him and Megumi, the main character, to get together for the prom!
Megumi's eyes widened and her heart leapt with glee. "Oh, mama! I'm pleased as punch!" she cried with a lame expression typical of these kinds of shows, before running over to Bishop and--~*~ "WAKE ME UP!""H-Huh? Wha--?!" Megumi asked as she sat bolt upright, thoroughly (and thankfully for all those readers out there) woken up by the sudden scream. Against her body and in her arms, Bishop was screaming and thrashing as if he was having some kind of nightmare... "O-Oi, Bishop," the woman said with a firm tone, turning him so he was at least facing her with her hands firmly gripping his shoulders in an attempt to try and keep him from thrashing too much. "Can you hear me? Wake up!" She shook him back and forth several times; her above-regular strength would have more than likely woken any normal man, but... this wasn't a normal man, and it didn't look as if he was having a normal time of it. Her instinct was actually to give him a smack to see if it would bring him to his senses, but she wanted to hold back on being violent as long as she possibly could here.
