"It's him!" Amber froze the moment he spoke. Spinning about she felt like a deer in headlights when she locked eyes on her father. He was here! It was hard to imagine that this evil man was her flesh in blood. She felt no parental bond with such a man, but he did cause her fright. That fear came from all the evil she heard he had caused and the time she ran into him her on this world. Her half brother had practically killed her then. Summoning her axe, Amber looked to Rekka. If Lakari was here it could only mean he was here to fight! She would not go down as easy as before though.
Orion, though surprised by Lakari's sudden appearance, had a reaction very similar to Damien's. He had his sword already withdrawn, so it was very easy for him to fall into a battle ready stance. Had Lakari followed them here? And what was intent? Further more who the hell was Jeanie?! Looking at Lakari, Orion also noticed that his demeanor was different too. All the times they had met Lakari, he had always been very calculating and, while perhaps never too serious, very in control.
The way Lakari was acting now was very different. Lakari had not stopped when he entered the room. He actually was continuing forward walking straight down the center of the room towards them all. "I've missed you my darling! I've waited for four hundred years for our reunion! I know your there. I was there two hundred years ago you know when that bastard lover of yours returned. I know you're in there! I'll get you out don't worry." Lakari's words were addressed to Aiden.
From what Orion could understand it seemed that Lakari thought that there was someone trapped. It was clear that he was talking to none of them... Following Lakari's gaze, Orion locked on Aiden and the suit of armor. "Aiden it must be the armor! Get away from it!" He shouted to him.
Lakari was quickly closing the distance. Amber, hearing Orion's words figured he must be right. It would make sense after all! Was he after the keyblade? Well she wasn't just going to allow him to take it! She charged him, raising her axe up ready to swing when she got within distance. As she closed the remaining distance, Lakari's head snapped in her direction, though his body continued facing forward. Coming about ten feet from him she found herself running into an invisible shield of some sort that not only prevented her from going forward but also sent her own force right back at her!
It felt like a punch, and it sent her spinning to the floor. It was like the time she had ran into that barrier in the Enchanted Domain when they had first entered Infusca's home. Except this one attacked back! It had her slow to getting up!
Seeing Amber slow to moving, Orion snapped at Damien. "Get Aiden out of there!"
The suit of armor, standing by the throne, had watched everything that was happening through Aiden. "He is not talking to me. He is speaking to you. The moment I let go of your wrist I will not be able to speak or hear you any longer. I can only communicate through touch. I will do my best to combat him, but he will be after you, not I." There wasn't much time. Artemis would do his best. Silver alone would have been a difficult opponent. Add Lakari's body and you had double the trouble.

There was utter confusion in the room as well as tension. Damien had no idea who Lakari was speaking to. It didn't look as though he were looking at any of them. In fact, he had to be looking at somewhere behind them all. It were as if the others in the room weren't even there as far as Lakari was concerned. Just what the hell was going on? Why was he walking toward them without taking out his keyblade? Where were the Four heads? Where was Ivan? Nothing made any sense!
Rekka unsheathed her father's sword finally. Like Amber, she got into a battle ready stance as her friend took out her battle axe. "I will fight alongside you, Amber." She was letting Amber know that she wouldn't be alone in this fight. No matter what, Rekka would be there.
As Lakari continued walking in the room, he spoke as if they weren't there. Rather, he seemed fixed on one person or being in the room and was talking to them. Damien couldn't help but side glance in Orion's, Amber's and Rekka's direction. Since he couldn't see the armor or Aiden with his back turned to them, Damien hoped that they could handle this fight. Whatever happened, they could not lose that keyblade! Wait...was it the armor he was speaking to?
'Ooooookay,' Damien thought. According to Lakari he had been around for four hundred years and that he had been waiting for his reunion with this Jeanie, whoever Jeanie was. He apparently knew she was there since her husband, someone he hated, had appeared again two hundred years ago. Just how the hell? He sounded like he thought someone was stuck somewhere. Just like Orion, Damien had thought it to be the armor as he followed Lakari's gaze. It was in the direction of Aiden and the armor. It wasn't easy to tell exactly which of the two he was truly speaking to.
Aiden peered back at Lakari. He wasn't sure why but something inside of him seemed to stir and in an unpleasant way. Something was telling him that something really bad was going to happen here. Was Lakari looking at him? There was fear in Aiden but then, there was something else. There was...was it anger? Why was Aiden angry? He was sure he hadn't felt the need to be angry except scared and confused. Why was Lakari calling him Jeanie? What did he mean?
Aiden confusedly took his gaze off of Lakari to look down toward Orion as he shouted at him to get away from the armor. Oh, was it the armor? Aiden glanced back over at Artemis, missing Amber's attack on Lakari.
Damien and Rekka saw the charge Amber had made. The way Lakari seemed to keep going and whipped his head in Amber's direction seemed alien. Instead of making any sort of impact, Amber hit something hard and was sent flying back! "AMBER!" Rekka shouted.
"The hell?!" Damien said as Amber went flying. He winced seeing her hit something. Why did the women have to come? A part of him was telling him that he should have left them in the castle. Sure, they would have hated him for it but he hated seeing women get hurt. It had been bad enough with Natalia getting injured. Infuriated that her friend got sent flying, Rekka conjured up a fireball and threw it at Lakari!
Aiden, while the others were busy, was then contacted again by the armor. Aiden focused his attention on the armor since what he was telling him sounded important. When Artemis told him that he was speaking to Aiden, the kid gasped. "ME?! Why me?!" the kid exclaimed. According to the armor, he could only communicate through touch. The armor was going to do his best but the real target was Aiden! "Why me?!" Aiden exclaimed before looking at the almost close Lakari now. Why the hell was he calling Aiden that name? Somehow, Lakari thought Aiden was Jeanie. What he said about getting Jeanie out of there though disturbed him.
"Wait...Jeanie...four hundred years..." Aiden said as he glanced at the armor. "He doesn't mean...my ancestors, does he?" Being a Wilder, Aiden had heard of the tales from long ago. Could Lakari have been that old? Could Lakari also be talking about Rowen, the Great? The one that was said to have channeled through Lance Wilder two hundred years ago?
Seeing as the others were attacking, Damien charged in next. He made it look like he was attacking Lakari directly. When or if Lakari turned his attention onto Damien, he would tear a portal open and slip through it before Lakari's eyes before reappearing on the other side of him, taking a slash at his side.

First Amber attacked. That had been a mistake. Next Rekka threw a fireball. Which under different circumstances might have done some harm. However, similar to Amber's attack the flame raced towards Lakari until it reached oh about ten feet away when it met resistance in the form of a barrier. Likewise, once hit the ball of fire bounced back right back at Rekka with all the initial force she had released racing at her.
Then Damien, instead of listening to Orion, figured he better jump in the fray. "Why the heck is no one listening to me?!"
Damien went in looking to attack Lakari straight on. When his head snapped toward him, he portaled to the other side and aimed a well forced slash at his side. Lakari though didn't seem to need to look in the direction of someone to put up a barrier. Even now Orion heard Natalia shout, "Damien don't!" But perhaps it might have been to late.
The aimed slash hit another invisible barrier, which then in turn repayed Damien by sending his attack right back at him! "There's a barrier all around him! I can see it." Natalia said.
"Should have told us that earlier!" Orion thought. He wasn't about to go charging in though to attack Lakari. Instead he sprinted towards Aiden, who was still talking to that suit of armor like it could hear him.
As he raced towards them, Artemis sent one last message to Aiden then he would let him go. "Yes. Your ancestor was a friend of mine."
That was the last thing he said before Orion appeared and grabbed Aiden around the waist and pretty much haled him onto his shoulder. "Gotta get you away from that armor kid. Lakari's after it."
Momentarily, Lakari had paused and his gaze was on Natalia. It lasted only for a few short moments before Natalia suddenly fell to her knees and started screaming like a banshee.
As Orion tried to take Aiden out of the way, the suit of armor began to walk forward. Lakari's attention, which remained on Aiden even though Orion was trying to rush him away said, "Oh so it's a game of chase is it?! I do love games!"

Rekka didn't have to worry about her own fire ball coming her way. As it bounced back, she only frowned and furrowed her brows in frustration. No doubt, Lakari was somehow blocking their attacks. It looked like that barrier that Amber, Bartimaeus and she had encountered back in the Enchanted Domain when they first met Infusca. "Damn, how are we suppose to hit him?" Rekka exclaimed.
Damien went in for the next attack. He knew that he probably should have focused on getting Aiden away from the armor but the biggest threat in the room was Lakari right now. So, he had focused on Lakari. When he charged and aimed that strike of his from the side, in attempts to see if he could surprise the elf, Natalia had told him a little too late. Sure enough, Damien hit the barrier as well and got sent flying back. If he hadn't wrestled with his sword in midair when the blade along with him got sent flying, he would have accidentally cut himself. Instead, Damien landed in a heap on the ground, gritting his teeth from hitting it.
Aiden, whom had been busy communicating with the armor, didn't see Orion coming. As the armor stated that yes, Lakari had been talking about his ancestors, he had also said that Aiden's ancestor had been a good friend of his. Aiden's eyes widened with surprise before suddenly, the armor released him and Orion had hoisted him over his shoulder. Blinking, Aiden looked down to find Orion had lifted him up. As he spoke, Aiden blinked for a short moment more before protesting.
"No!" Aiden exclaimed. It was then that he noticed Lakari was even closer as he stated that he loved chasing games. It sent a nasty chill down Aiden's spine. "Lakari's after me! We need to get out of here!" Aiden stated. He squirmed, trying to get out of Orion's grip. His weight likely slowed Orion down and if Lakari caught up to them, Aiden didn't want Orion to get hurt.
Damien slowly got back to his feet, shaking his head before dashing toward Lakari's turned back as the armor seemed to make its way toward Lakari. "We can't let him get that armor!" Damien stated, thinking too that Lakari was after the armor which was now headed right for Lakari.
Rekka cursed before running after Lakari too.

Picking up Aiden, Orion took him to the side. Hearing his protests, Orion easily dismissed them. Aiden was talking some nonsense now about being the target. Why the heck would he be targeted by Lakari? If Lakari had been interested in him, why hadn't he snatched or attacked Aiden any of the times he had encountered Orion, Damien, and Aiden. Figuring that Aiden must not be thinking straight, he did let him down however when they were on the side.
"Aiden snap out of it! We don't have time for games. We have to prevent Lakari from getting that armor." Not yet realizing that the armor was actually moving now towards Lakari, everyone else however were issuing another attack.
Amber too was back on her feet, and she charged from behind. Around the same time Damien was attacking from one direction and Rekka a third. How would Lakari handle a three throng attack?! There was no way he could block all of them at once correct?
Lakari whose eyes were on Aiden as he was dragged off to the side was forced to pause as people came at him from all directions. The grin on his face turned and as the three attacked he threw out both arms! Three invisible barriers rushed forward in all three directions towards each of the charging opponent. They were each fifteen feet across and at least eight feet high, but see through and for the most part unnoticeable!
It was how Amber found herself running face first into the wall and thrown right back to the ground. This time the force returned to her was doubled given that the barrier was moving. It felt like her body had been slammed by a jack hammer!

As Orion continued to move, Aiden flailed his arms but without intent to do Orion any harm. He was just trying to dislodge his friend's grip on him. Unfortunately, Orion was stronger than Aiden had thought. Any movement the teenager made didn't seem to effect Orion's grip at all. "Put me down!" Aiden complained.
By the time they were on the side, Orion had finally taken that chance to let Aiden down. When he did so, he told Aiden to snap out of it and that they didn't have time to play any games. Aiden looked over at Orion with equal frustration. The armor hadn't been lying when he said that Aiden's friends didn't believe him. "I'M NOT PLAYING!" Aiden stated before looking over at what Lakari was doing. All three of their friends, aside from Natalia whom had let out a loud scream, were charging the elf emperor at once.
Rekka and Damien leaped for Lakari in unison with Amber. How would the elf handle the three thronged attack? Well, by simply extending his barriers! As the three had dived, the barriers that Lakari had sent had sent them flying! Before either of them knew it, they were introduced into a world of pain. Rekka landed on her side and Damien landed on his back, hitting the back of his head. It sent him into a daze.
Aiden backed away from beside Orion as he saw Lakari coming. "He's coming! The armor's going to fight him, Orion! We all need to get out of here, he's going to get me!" Aiden said, trying to pull Orion's arm to make him follow him. Damien, Rekka, Natalia and Amber were all floored! All except Kane whom had rushed to Natalia's side since she was still screaming. He placed a hand on her shoulder, not sure what he could do to help her as he spoke the young elf's name.
The elder male gritted his teeth as he saw Rekka, Amber and Damien get hit and floored. What were they to do against such an opponent? Then, he saw the armor and it was headed right for the elf! Was the armor going willingly toward the elf? Were they former allies? In his point of view, he thought much like Orion and Damien as he charged Lakari. Aiden was nearby and he wasn't going to let harm befall his new king. He would rather die than allow the child to suffer the same fate as his aunt and uncle before him. No, the Wilder bloodline must go on!

Orion felt stuck. He wanted to jump into the fray and try and help his friends, but seeing them all leveled by Lakari made him pause. He barley heard Aiden when he exclaimed that he wasn't kidding around. Orion didn't have time to argue with him! He had to prevent the suit of armor from being taken by Lakari. Already it was heading towards him! Was Lakari controlling it?! Perhaps that was the real issue here!
Hearing Aiden again, Orion glanced to him. "Coming to get you?! Look Aiden why would..." Orion broke off as he looked over to Lakari. Now that he looked he realized Lakari was not looking at the armor. He was looking at them! But why would he be looking at them if... Glancing back down at Aiden, Orion wondered if the kid was right! But why would Lakari be after Aiden?! It still made no sense!
"We need to get out of here..." Orion was beginning to say when Lakari paused. Behind him Kane was charging towards him. Orion watched Lakari roll his eyes as he dragged his hand up in the air. As he did a barrier prison box, a sealed barrier cube with walls ten feet by ten feet shot up from the ground two feet in front of Kane so that with his forward momentum he would be stepping into the prison if he continued moving forward. It was sealed off by a barrier on top of it. If Kane hit the walls inside the barrier it would force his own charge against him and send him back into the adjacent wall, which would do the same. It was a familiar technique that Artemis had witnessed before, but none of their party ever had. If however he managed to stop himself from being inside he would met the resistance of the outer walls of the barrier which would send his own charge back against him as well. Of course there was a chance that he could prevent himself from getting hit at all, but he would have to stop his momentum or teleport himself somehow away.
"I'm starting to get tired of all these interruptions..." Lakari said annoyingly. It was at about that time that the suit of armor came upon Lakari. As he came within distance he swung the keyblade forward attempting to attack Lakari. As the blade arced down it met the barrier that had remained around Lakari, and was the reason why anyone who got close was sent sprawling back. When the blade and barrier collided the suit of armor did not get sent flying back like all the others had. Instead the blade almost as if it was met by resistance but not prevented. It moved at a snail pace, but continued to move forward, causing visible cracks could be seen where it was moving.
Aiden was right again! Was the suit of armor going to fight Lakari? It sure looked like it! Orion glanced down at Aiden. "It really is alive?..."
Lakari's demeanor had changed. Where as before he had been slightly annoyed now he was getting angry. It could be seen by the red on his cheeks and the vain in his forehead. His nose twitched in anger as his eyes met the suit of armor. Bending his head so far to the right that it had Orion wondering if his head was even attached, Lakari said in a very normal tone, "I don't think you people understand. I've waited for four hundred years for this moment and you think I'm going to sit by and let you stop me?! OUT OF THE FUCKING WAY!!!" Shouting, Lakari shot both of his hands forward with speed and determination. Several long three inch wide cylinders made of barrier material shot forward from his barrier striking the suit of armor all at once. The equivalent of the force could be compared to being hit by a semi truck running at about sixty miles an hour. It slammed into the suit of armor sending it flying backwards to the other side of the wall.
Watching this, all the remaining hope in Orion's face washed away. Lakari's demeanor changed to that of a grinning mad man once more and only his head turned to face both him and Aiden once more. Aiden could probably hear Orion gulp.

Damien was in a haze as he sat up slowly. His head hurt from the impact it made with the ground. He could hear voices but they were muffled. Dizzy, Damien tried to wait for the effect to calm but it wasn't. He had hit his head pretty hard. It was a wonder that he hadn't been knocked completely out. Squinting his eyes, Damien tried to look around. Nearby, he could see Natalia, Amber and Rekka on the floor but couldn't really make them out. Their figures, although they were still for the moment, were swimming in his line of view.
"Ugh...my head," Damien groaned out. As he moved, his head just swam all the more. The back of his head would have a terrible welt if they survived this.
Rekka finally roused, after holding herself in pain. She wasn't about to go diving at Lakari again as she struggled to sit up again. As she did, she looked around for the others. Damien seemed like he was struggling to get up. Natalia was down and so was Amber. Rekka crawled towards Amber. "Amber! Amber! Are you okay?" she spoke to her.
Aiden wanted to bolt but where the heck was he going to run? As Orion spoke, he finally saw the older young male look in the direction of Lakari. This time, it was more apparent that Lakari was looking at them instead of the armor. It were as if nothing else mattered to Lakari in the room. His sights were just fixed on Aiden. The look sent chills down the young teenager's spine. Then, finally, Orion saw Aiden's point. He paused when he made to say that they needed to get out of there as Kane charged Lakari. Lakari took pause as well.
A box barrier appeared suddenly two feet in front of Kane. The sudden motion had been so sudden that the older warrior gave a jolt. In doing so, despite slowing his momentum, it had not been enough to stop him. Instead, he slid into it and wound up getting bounced about. When the bouncing stopped, Kane too was floored. It seemed like their only hope would be the armor as it went for Lakari. The elf was annoyed, stating that he was tired of all the interruptions. It was then that the armor attacked Lakari. Instead of bouncing off the barrier, the armor seemed unaffected. The weapon it had seemed to keep going through the barrier but at a slow pace. The barrier, on the other hand, became visible and was cracking!
It looked as if, for a moment, that the armor had the upper hand here. Then, Lakari's face changed into something that one could describe as rage or pure anger. As Orion questioned Aiden, the teenager nodded. "Yes, he is and...he apparently knew my ancestors. One of them was his friend. Whoever he is." The elf spoke then, as he moved his head so far to the right it made Aiden scrunch up his nose with disgust. Was that skull even attached to the neck bones? The elf would not be dissuaded. He had waited four hundred years for this and wasn't going to be stopped. With a terrible shout at the end, the elf sent the armor flying. The force in which he had used was so great that it made Aiden wince. What hope they had, had fizzled out completely.
Aiden certainly could hear Orion gulp. The two needed to do something and soon. Lakari looked like the Grim Reaper coming their way. What were they going to do though? Damien, still dizzy, looked at those nearest of him. His mind was all hazy. Extending a hand, he tore open a portal under each of them. They needed to get out of here! Unfortunately, he wasn't even sure where it was that he was sending them. That was even if he had actually sent them anywhere. He was in such a daze that it was hard to tell if they even went through the portals or not. He knew they went to the same place. Wherever he sent them, Damien made sure to keep the feeling he teleported them to imprinted in his dazed mind as he used his sword to prop him back up onto his feet. His head just continued to swim. It was difficult standing up. The sword, as he leaned on it, seemed to be the only thing able to keep him propped up. Whenever he tried to take a step without using it, he staggered and almost fell.
"Damn it all..." he murmured. He saw something go flying. Looking ahead, as his head continued to swim, he spotted Kane floored and had that been the armor that he just saw? Confusion just clouded Damien's mind as he looked on ahead. It looked as if Orion and Aiden were by themselves, facing Lakari now. Both had the look of fear written on their faces. Damien forced himself to his feet. Immediately, he regretted it but he staggered forward. 'I've got to...save them...' Damien thought but he wouldn't make it to them before Lakari did.
Orion and Aiden were like sitting ducks. "I'm not Jeanie! Leave us alone!" Aiden shouted at Lakari. At this point, there wasn't anything any of them could do. He summoned his swords, the very same swords that Jean used to use. Aiden didn't know it but something was waking up and it had nothing to do with the Dragoon's blood in him.

It really was like moving through water. Artemis was slow to move because he had no choice. After having sat in that chair for more than two hundred years, he had lost touch with how to move in the suit of armor. As if it were a human body, it took an extreme amount of effort for Artemis to move at all. That was why, as powerful as his attacks were, they came slowly.
When Lakari sent him flying across the room he had all but put him out of commotion. While he felt no pain and the damage on the armor was average at best, he was still slow to get up. By the time he managed to sit up Lakari had all but forgotten him!
Amber, was in a haze. Two powerful attacks on her person by those barriers had her cringing in pain. What a bastard! She wanted to stand and help her friends, but she was seeing stars! She heard Rekka calling her name near her, but couldn't for the life of her see where she was. Next thing she knew though she felt like she was falling. Where did that feeling come from? Amber didn't know that Damien had used portals to transport them out of there.
All that remained were Orion, a struggling Damien, Aiden, and the suit of armor. And of course there was Lakari. He was walking towards them now. Well Orion wasn't going to just let the elf have his friend. With his own sword, Orion prepared for battle. He needed a plan! What would Bartimaeus do in a situation like this? Faced with an opponent who would repel your attacks right back at you!
Well probably he wouldn't have gotten in this situation to begin with. When things turned sower there was no fault in turning the other way and fleeing. Bartimaeus had told him those very words. "A distraction!" If he could buy time for Aiden, maybe he could allow a moment for him to leave!
Jolting to the right, Orion moved towards Lakari's left. He wasn't going to be foolish enough to actually attack the elf, but he mine as well act like he might. Letting out a battle cry, he raised his sword and took a few steps forward.
Lakari turned his head towards him, eyes squinting in annoyance. "Enough!" He shouted. Three barrier prison box appeared then, their targets Orion, Damien, and the suit of armor. Orion, unfortunately, could not see the box and as a result found himself having a similar fate as Kane. He was trapped, and found his own force knocking him into adjacent walls until even he collapsed. The suit of armor, having no choice but to be trapped, was not harmed by the prison. But was slow to moving and such his swings on the barrier wall came slowly.
Finally feeling at ease, Lakari turned toward Aiden. "I know you're in their darling! If you don't want your friends to die you better come out! Oh I know! Let's talk about a friend of yours... What was his name now? If I remember correctly he was a part of your crew. And... Oh that's right! I believe this body killed him too didn't he! And you know what's interesting about that, it was me! I was there the hole time! Edging the owner. And you know what happened when he died Jeanie! That's rigggghhhhhtttttttttt! He's here even now. Screaming like a little boy!" Lakari was getting worked up now, grinning and laughing. His tone was playful but criticizing.

Damien, while he struggled to keep on his feet, heard a battle cry. Was that Orion? Damien wasn't sure. It sure sounded like Orion but with his head spinning, it was hard to tell. Every time he raised his head to peer before him, his head would swim all the more. 'Damn it, I hit my head too hard!' Damien thought grumpily. Still, what pushed him onward was the fact that his two friends were in trouble. He hadn't heard anything from the girls so they were either unconscious or saved or both. Hopefully, not dead.
There was a shout of "enough" somewhere. Damien took pause. He couldn't really see what was surrounding him so much as rather feel like something was wrong. He hadn't been moving forward enough to do himself harm. The best he did was stagger into the barrier and end up landing on his rear after being bounced back a bit. What the hell was that?
"Shit...I'm no good like this!" Damien murmured, gritting his teeth in frustration. His head hurt terribly and he was dizzy because of it. The fact he couldn't move efficiently bothered him. He knew time wouldn't wait and from the look of things, had they all just been trapped? Where was Aiden? Damien could hear Lakari's voice. He sounded like he had lost his mind. He really thought someone was within Aiden. At least, that's how it had looked now. Damien had thought it had been the armor but Lakari wasn't even paying it any mind. What were they going to do? Damien couldn't help Aiden much. It would be luck if Damien had been able to portal out of the barriers but with his head all in a tizzy, it'd be near impossible for him to do it right.
"For the last time! I'M NOT JEANIE AND I'M NOT YOUR DARLING, YOU CREEP!" Aiden shouted at him. Now Lakari was telling Aiden's ancestor to come out if she wanted her friends to live. He even said something taunting, speaking of how a friend of her's had died four hundred years ago. Aiden mistook Lakari for mentioning the armor. The armor was alive though so Lakari was wrong!
"His name was Sain, you snake!" came a voice that wasn't Aiden's. Aiden's eyes widened with surprise. He had even doubled back and looked around in wonder. "Of course, I wouldn't expect you, Silver to recall those you terrorize considering you've lost your mind to so many in your head! Sain's on the other side with my family and I, you are wrong about him being within you!" came the voice again. It was a woman's voice and it sounded as if it resonated with energy. Aiden had quite the shock as the spirit of a woman stepped out of him! Literally, stepped right out of him! She had light blue hair tied up in a ponytail. She held Aiden's swords! Jean Wilder glared down at Lakari.
"I thought I had killed you. Pity I was mistaken." Jean's eyes narrowed. Aiden, since Jean had stepped out of him, suddenly felt weak as he fell to his knees. It were almost as if the energy he had, had just been sapped out of him. As if that's what took to manifest the apparition before them all and looking very solid for one. "Hmph! Four hundred years and you still haven't changed. Only gained a new body!"
Rekka, when they had been portaled out, looked for the others. "Where's the boys?" she said aloud before going to Amber's and Natalia's side again. "Are you both okay?"

Orion well... his head hurt. That was the first sign that he was still alive. He was pretty banged up though. His vision took a moment to right itself. But when it did, Orion found himself blinking at what was happening. There was some sort of apparition in front of Aiden. Some woman he had never seen before was standing there yelling at Lakari. Listening to her words, Orion... well he was lost for words! Aiden had been right! And what was even more scary was that Lakari had been right too!
"I'll never doubt that kid again!" Orion said to himself. He knew he was stuck in that barrier forced to watch. But what could a ghost do to the living?!
Lakari, on the other had, was tearing! He was all smiles. "Oh Jean you look spectacular! I've waited oh such a long time for this darling! I waited 400 years for us to finish our game. But what can you do like that! A simple ghost! I need you back in your physical form baby! Perhaps that boy is the key?! Perhaps if I harm him enough you'll take form!"
Evil thoughts were flowing through Lakari's head, and they seemed pretty intent on harming Aiden.
Artemis recognized Jean. He could not hear what she said, nor would she recognize him. Her appearance stirred something inside him. If a suit of armor could cry there would be tears flowing down his face. Her eyes were intent on Silver, so she had not noticed him. He wanted to cry out. It had been 400 years since he had last seen her!
"A time will come when an ancient enemy will return. Until such a time you are to guard this blade. You are it's guardian, I trust you to do with it what you see fit brother." Reminded of the words that were spoken to him before he had become the suit of armor, Artemis knew what he had to do. His time of guardian was done.
Artemis pointed his keyblade at Jean. A bright light erupted from it, penetrating through the barrier and colliding with where Jean's heart would be. The keyblade would return Jean's hear to the living, if she so approved, and she would become the owner of the keyblade he now carried. This was the reason why he believed he existed.

Damien cursed as he looked around. Even moving his head slowly hurt like hell. From where he was sitting, he was certain that there was no way for him to get out of here. All he could do now was watch, to the best of his abilities given how bad of a bump Damien had on his head. It was bloody and there was already a visible bump on the back of his head. The dizzy feeling he had was slowly going away but very slowly.
Aiden was on his hands and knees, barely able to keep himself up while Jean faced Lakari. She looked as if she hadn't aged a day and the look in her eyes were of pure anger. She listened as Lakari...no, Silver spoke. Even now, he considered them to still be partaking in a game after all these years. What Silver had said was true, however. Although she appeared to be solid, Jean wasn't. She would have to channel through Aiden like Rowen had done with Lance two hundred years ago. As Silver turned his sights on Aiden, saying maybe that the boy was the key and killing him would bring her out into full form, Jean bared her teeth.
"Don't you even think about touching one of my children!" Jean growled at him in warning. She didn't realize Artemis was present. If she did, she would've reacted toward him. In his present form, and in her own manifestation, there was no way for her to tell who he was. She didn't even know that Aiden knew that the armor was a former friend of her's from four hundred years ago. The knowledge he had didn't extend to her by any account.
What happened next, Damien couldn't believe his eyes. A sudden light illuminated from somewhere off to the side, making contact with the apparition. As Damien's head stopped spinning a bit, he was able to see that it had come from the suit of armor! "What the-?" Damien exclaimed.
Aiden, who had seen the light, looked over at the suit of armor. What was he doing? As Aiden looked over, too weak to get up on his own, he saw the woman standing before him. That was Jean Wilder! The swords she had been carrying, that were Aiden's, had fallen from her grasp then and dispersed when the light touched her. At first, it seemed like the armor had been trying to cause the spirit of Jean to dissipate. Then, it became clear what was happening. Well, to Jean anyway. Turning her gaze over toward where the beam of light was coming from, Jean blinked at him with surprise. She hadn't recognized Artemis, of course, since he was still visibly an armor. Yet, there was something sparked in her.
A choice was given to Jean then. Live now and fight Silver to save her descendant or remain a ghost. Part of her wanted to remain dead since she felt her time had been up four hundred years ago. Yet, something told her if she didn't, these children were doomed to die by the hands of Silver. Aiden, especially, was in immediate danger if she refused. Like it or not, Jean would have to live again to save their lives. When her task was done though, would she pass on again? Or would she be forced to live life again? There was no telling. All that Jean knew right now was that she wanted to save Aiden and his friends. Jean became illuminated with a sudden, white light. As it surrounded her, it became so bright that she was nothing but a white silhouette. So bright, that Damien gritted his teeth and shielded his eyes from it. It made his eyes sting and his head throbbed all the more in response.
Aiden, whom had been facing toward the armor, had widened his eyes in wonder. Just what was going on? As he looked back over at Jean, the light was already fading. When it went away completely, the woman from before stood on the floor. She was literally solid now, not just in appearance. When she opened her pale green eyes, Jean took her first breath of air after four hundred years. Jean Wilder, after all this time, was alive once more and only a miracle could have accomplished such a thing.
"...How?" Jean said, looking down at herself in confusion. Something wanted her to live and fight. Realizing this, Jean clenched her hands and formed them into fists. Yes, she could feel pain again. There was no mistaking it, she was alive again! Bringing her gaze upward, Jean looked toward the armor, where the beam of light had come from. She couldn't help but look over at it in confusion. She didn't realize that the armor had been alive and contained the soul of one of her friends from the distant past.
Rekka heard no response from Amber or Natalia. Gently, Rekka shook each of them, trying to wake them. Her heart gave a leap as she dreaded the worst. What if they had died?

"This is the Keyblade of Life, the very first keyblade created and the polar opposite of the Keyblade of Death. While the Keyblade of Death allows you to raise the dead back to life, the wielder of the Keyblade of Life will allow you to remain alive. There can only be one owner of this blade, Artemis you must bear both the fortune and misfortune of being it's owner until the time comes. Give it to her then. She will need it."
Artemis had completed his mission. The only way he could give Jean life was by transferring ownership to Jean. Doing so the blade disappeared from his hand, and at long last he was able to once again return to the dead. His heart left the armor and the suit of armor became but an empty shell once more.
Today was turning into one of those days that Orion wouldn't soon forget. He was stuck in the barrier prison that Lakari had placed him in, but he was watching what was happening now. The ghost that had appeared out of Aiden had come back to life thanks to the keyblade the suit of armor held. But once the light had finished penetrating and disappeared the suit of armor fell to the ground, and the keyblade... Well it was gone! Orion didn't know that Jean was now the owner and thus had to summon it herself for it to appear.
Lakari... or was it Silver... Orion was slightly confused about that one. The woman who had come back to life had called him Silver. Was smiling and tearing. "Darling! You're back! Oh I'm so excited! So very excited!!!" Lakari was jumping and twirling about and screaming the words. In his joy and laughter he summoned a giant barrier prison box around himself and Jean. His attempt was to seclude them so that they could enjoy their battle. The prison box was about thirty feet across and the same around. At the same time he summoned the box around them he dispersed those around Damien, Orion, and Kane.
"The game is simple, darling. In here, even I am susceptible to my barrier walls. We battle till one of us falls. Be careful darling if you loose I win your body." Lakari said with a smile.
In a distance place Amber was slowly waking up. Her head felt like someone had hammered a nail into it. For that reason she kept her eyes clothes. It wasn't until Rekka shook her that she opened them. When she did she saw two Rekka's and they were moving around in circles. "I'm here... Wherever here is. My head feels like hell." She told her.
Natalia though was still as stone. She had not spoken or moved since she had tried a battle of magic against Lakari. What had happened when she had went for the spell was something she had not at all expected. When mages battle there are a chance that a person's mind may open up to the opponent. In order to combat a mage's magic one has to attack the mind of the mage, not the magic itself. Doing so it was much easier to simply cut off a spell then actually attempting to disarm it while the mage continue to feed it. Such a feat is a dangerous thing. An enemy mage has just as much of a chance of entering the attacker's mind as the attacker does on the opponent. This is what happened to Natalia. And the mind that assaulted her was one that was made up of many minds and many different voices. Natalia's mind was lost, broken in a sense. She breathed, she lived, but Natalia... was no more.

Jean saw something leave the armor then. At first, it was the keyblade that it had extended toward her. A heart floated into the air. Just before it dispersed, floating into the air to signify passing, Jean could have sworn that she saw or rather felt something familiar. A name, then, came to her. '...Artemis?' she thought. As the armor slumped to the ground, there seemed to be a definitive answer as to what had happened. Somehow, she had been brought back to life by that keyblade. No doubt, there was a reason for it. Jean knew that much seeing as Silver was here and terrorizing the newer generation.
Silver, once he realized she was alive, shouted with what sounded like crazed glee. Jean narrowed her eyes as she looked upon him. She hadn't forgotten what the snake had done to her father and how he had terrorized them back when she had been alive. Jean knew that she should not be alive during this time but for the sake of those around her, the ones kept in those barriers, she had to return. She knew her family would miss her on the other side but she knew they would be waiting for her when everything was done and over with.
A giant barrier prison soon formed around Jean and Silver. It was large enough, from what she could tell, to keep them both inside. No doubt, so their battle couldn't be disturbed. That was fine, she wasn't afraid of the idea of death. Jean had already died before and knew what lay on the other side. Now that she was here, she knew that Silver would pay attention to only her so long as the others didn't try to interfere. Passing a glance in their direction, Jean saw Aiden finally able to get back on his feet but weakly. Where she was alive, she had taken energy out of Aiden. That wouldn't come back until he got some rest. At least one of her descendants was alive.
Jean brought her gaze back over to Silver as he spoke to her, telling her that the barriers were dangerous to himself as well. They were to fight until one of them fell. If she lost, he got her body. Jean's eyes narrowed dangerously. She extended her hands, holding them outward to summon her sword. Instead of her swords, however, a keyblade appeared in her right hand. It was the very keyblade that Artemis had used to bring her back to life. As she held it in her hand, looking at it with surprise, Jean held it at the ready as she got over that. She could feel the energy within the weapon. It was alive!
"And if I win, you will not bother anyone anymore...this time, you will remain dead or sealed away forever, Silver!" Jean warned him. Even if she did die and he took her body instead, Jean guessed that even if that happened that there would be a severe flaw in Silver's plans. Lakari's body was the most dangerous. Even if he did win and took her body when she died, he'd have her body and therefore, the abilities her body had which weren't as terrible as Lakari's. Of course, Jean was smart enough to not say this. She didn't doubt herself though. She had the drive to try and kill Silver despite the circumstances here. Even if she died, Jean didn't fear it. It would just mean she went back faster. So long as he didn't absorb her soul.
Damien looked with surprise as the barrier around him and the other two had dissipated. Lakari or Silver seemed more intent on fighting this Jean woman. Which, oddly enough, had come back to the living somehow and now had the keyblade! Where was Aiden? Damien decided that this distraction provided a means for them to escape. Slowly, Damien pulled himself onto his feet although shakily. Standing made his head hurt and spin a little again.
"Orion! ...Aiden!" Damien called for them. The sooner someone got to his side, the easier it would be for him to move them out of here and to safety. Aiden was making his way around the huge barrier. Kane, was only just waking up. "Ugh!" he exclaimed.
Rekka was relieved when Amber stirred. She was worried something had happened to her. As she heard her, Rekka couldn't help but chuckle a bit. "Well, at least you're alright." Rekka then turned her attention onto Natalia. Despite her shaking, Natalia hadn't stirred. From Rekka's view, she was alive. She was breathing and appeared to be physically unharmed.
"Um...Natalia?" Rekka called as she shook her more harshly. Still no response. With a jolt, Rekka shook her harder and harder, calling out the elf's name but no matter how hard she tried, nothing worked. Natalia just remained still. "Amber...Natalia's not waking up!"

Regroup and get the hell out of here. That's what Orion wanted to do. Lakari seemed content at battling the woman who appeared. Orion hadn't a clue as to how much of a chance she had against the elf, but she did have a keyblade. If anyone could be Lakari, perhaps she could. Moving closer to Aiden, Orion made sure his friend was still alive. He seemed tired and depleted, but at least Aiden was awake and alive. "You alive kid?" Orion asked.
Within the barrier Lakari extended his hands and clapped them together. Slowly separating them a blue light shined between his hands as a blue tinted see through cylinder about the size of a pipe extended as he moved his arms outward. At one end the cylinder ended in a single point while on the other a hand guard and hilt appeared at the opposite. Grabbing the hilt with his right and he now held a cylinder pipe like weapon that, while see through, had a blue glow that gave it clear definition.
If Orion didn't know any better, he'd guess that the barrier and that weapon were made out of the same material. Indeed the prison box around Jean and Lakari, from their point of view anyway, seemed to give off a slightly blue glow as well. Orion wondered if Jean knew that or not.
"Seal me away Jean? Don't you get it?! So long as one of us lives both of us shall!" A cryptic message for sure, but Lakari wasn't about to explain more. Orion watched the elf sprint towards Jean, bringing his weapon around in a vertical slash and following it up with a horizontal attack from above.
Amber forced herself to try and sit up. When Rekka exclaimed that Natalia wasn't getting up, Amber felt a need to go see what was happening to her! While they had just met Natalia, Amber felt responsible for her. She was a member of their party! And by the gods she wasn't going to let another party member die on her! When she sat up her head swam and it took a moment before her vision cleared.
When it did she spotted Rekka next to Natalia. Amber, not wanting to risk walking, crawled over to them. "What's wrong with her?! Is she breathing?!"

Jean could see Aiden and Orion move in the corner of her eye. Now that she was here, Silver's attention was centered on her. She kept a careful eye on Silver as he started to summon a weapon to his hand. It looked like a pipe that resembled the same material as the barrier.
Jean looked intent on killing Silver. She had the eyes of one that didn't have anything left to lose. Her eyes narrowed when Silver stated that so long as one of them lives, both shall. She, at first, thought he had meant if he won. Then again, Silver wasn't one for lying. He would tell you the truth. What he said sounded cryptic too. What did Silver mean by it? "So even if one of us wins...the other will still live..." Jean stated. Silver hadn't given her much time to think on the matter before attacking.
Silver tried to slash at her with a vertical attack. Jean side stepped the first one but only just narrowly, the second one he followed up with trying to bring it down at her, Jean brought the keyblade up to block it. As she did so, Jean lashed her leg out at Silver in attempts to try and kick him in retaliation. She didn't care where her leg kicked him so long as it might cause him to back off for a brief moment. Aiden heard Orion as he had approached him, he was just too tired to lift his gaze up toward him. Whatever that lady had done to him, she had wiped him out. It seemed like she was here to help them though. She was fighting the biggest threat in the room. When Orion spoke, Aiden found the energy to respond in his usual disgruntled manner despite sounding tired.
"I'm...not...a kid!" Aiden retorted weakly. Kane shook his head before pushing himself up onto his knees. Damien made his way over toward where he could see Orion and Aiden. Orion was checking on Aiden. The kid looked like he had either been injured or was exhausted. Since he wasn't anywhere near them yet, Damien made his way over slowly. Walking, his head hurt like hell and with each step, it spun a little but this time it was more manageable.
Kane was looking at the scene with surprise. Just where did the woman come from? Whoever she was, it seemed like she and Lakari were duking it out in a battle to the death or something.
By the time that Damien got over to the other two, he looked at each of them. They looked to be alright. "I sent Rekka, Natalia and Amber away...are you two alright?"
Rekka wasn't sure what to tell Amber. As Amber crawled over, Rekka heard her question. Rekka felt for a pulse even though she could see Natalia was breathing. "Yeah, she's breathing...and there's a pulse but...she just won't wake up!" Rekka replied. She couldn't help but worry.

((OOC: Sorry this took so long. Was out sick and had work these last few days))
When Orion and Kane finally joined them both looked worst for wear. Lakari had delivered quite a hit to both of them. Orion felt himself lucky to be not as injured. Aiden was doing all right, according to what he said anyway. Orion didn't know if he trusted his word though. Aiden would be just the type of person who would pretend he was fine and really be hurt.
There wasn't much they could do about it though. Orion glanced over at Lakari and Jean inside the cube. They were fighting, Lakari attempting to strike from two different angles. The first was dodged, and the second was repelled and followed up with a kick on the part of the woman. The kick collided with Lakari's chest and sent him stumbling back a few feet, almost falling but finding his footing in the last moment.
It didn't seem to bother the elf however. The grin on his face never ceased. Whomever Lakari was now, he was not the same type of person from before. His entire demeanor and even personality had seemed to change, from the other times they had encountered him.
"You'll have to do better than that darling!" Lakari told Jean. Bringing his blade back he tossed it over his head with quite an amount of force. As the blade was sent spinning forward it was aimed right at Jean's body. As soon as the pipe blade left his hands another replaced it, and Lakari tossed it as well. He repeated this in succession two more times tossing them at Jean wherever she was. The last pipe he summoned he did not toss, instead using it as his weapon and ran towards Jean. Attacking her head on he grabbed the hilt of the pipes with both hands and sent a powerful strike downward. This time he put the power of both hands behind it.
Orion, had peeled his eyes away before Silver had gone on the offensive to ask everyone what should they do now? Should they wait here? Retreat and leave these two to battle it out? If Lakari was victorious he might be weak enough that they could take him on. And if he lost... well then they had reason to celebrate didn't they? "What should we do now?"
Things however weren't looking good for Natalia. It was good to hear that she was breathing, but her not waking up bothered Amber. Making her way over there finally, Amber tired peeling her eye lids back. Her eyes were there, but they were dead still. That worried her slightly. Amber wasn't a healer. But she did have some communication ability with the earth. Amber still hadn't gotten a wrap on all her abilities. She was still learning. Yet she felt like she should be able to do something. It was her instincts telling her that she should try.
"Let me try something..." Amber extended her senses into the earth. This time however, with her hands touching the earth she found herself being able to do it much easier then before. The earth became alive to her then. In fact the very earth was alive! It was like a living breathing organism. Her senses and the earths became one, combining. She was no longer just Amber, she was something new. To Rekka she would see a kanji letter for earth glowing on her forehead. Additionally light armor had formed on her person: orange lined and brown colored gauntlets and arm guards, leggings, and shoulder guards.
This new being could read everyone and everything that was born of the earth and touched it. What she read exactly was the energy of the person. Every body contained energy, Rekka's was fierce like a fire, vibrant red and pulsating. Natalia's however was practically dead. There was a hint of energy, green and similar to the natural energy of the earth. In fact it was like her own, except a shade lighter than her own.
"What's wrong with her? What do I do?" She asked the earth. The earth didn't have a voice to answer, but suddenly Amber knew what she had to do. It was simple. Energy was everywhere. In the earth, in the walls, in every organism, in everything. But different energies could not be combined. If for example, Amber was to try and use Rekka's energy on Natalia, it would not work. But she could use her own. It would take some of her own, but for some reason she knew that it would not be long before she regained it back. So that was what she did, she felt some of her own energy leave her and fed it to Natalia's. She gave as much as she dared, filling Natalia's about halfway.
Suddenly tired, Amber disconnected from the earth and the armor around her disappeared. She felt suddenly a lot more worn then she was before. Natalia however was blinking awake!

(OOC: It's quite alright. I figured that was what had happened. I hope you're feeling better now. Hope this was okay.)
Aiden knew Damien and Orion were near him but he was too tired to move much. As Orion had asked him if he was dead, Aiden retorted with his usual response whenever he was called a kid. Damien, upon reaching them, had asked how they were doing. Aiden tiredly lowered his gaze. In fact, if it weren't for Orion keeping him propped up, the teenager would have fallen to the floor in slumber. Even now, there was the subtle hint of snoring. Aiden, even if he wanted to fall asleep or not, would be out of the running. He'd be of no help.
Kane staggered toward where Orion, Aiden and Damien were. It seemed the two combatants within the cube no longer cared about what was going on outside. Their eyes seemed fixated on each other. One, with the intent to kill and the other, crazed. Even now, the smile on Lakari's face had never fallen from it.
Immediately, Jean was put on the defensive as Silver regained his footing. Her kick had managed to stagger him a little. However, that wasn't enough to give her room for much else. He threw his weapon at her, then followed up with several throws of the same thing. Jean had barely evaded the first few but got hit with the last. She let out a curse before Silver came at her with two in hand. He slashed downward at her with both hands behind the weapons. A powerful strike it had been too but Jean held steadfast under it. It was quite the struggle blocking it with the keyblade. She glared up at Silver. How she hated the serpent. What caused her to hate him more was the fact that he had returned but chose to wait until she had been long since dead until this moment. Just what had this crazed being planned all this time?
'No, I need to hold my own...either defeat him or temporarily incapacitate him and then figure out what the hell is going on in the worlds now!' she thought. 'And if I die, and he takes my body, well at least those who have survived will be able to have a better chance. I might be a keyblade wielder now but my body lacks the abilities that Lakari has now.'
It was clear that Lakari was the stronger of the two, however. Fueled with Silver's attacks, it hadn't been easy. Jean had to push upward keeping both hands on her keyblade when she pushed rather difficultly and then go out on a limb by diving aside. "You have terrible timing, Silver. You should have tried attacking me back before I started my life with Rowen if revenge is what you really wanted. Why go through all the trouble of waiting if you knew by the time you returned that I would have been dead?" she stated. He could have even attacked Lance when Rowen had been with him. Why hadn't he taken his revenge out on her descendants? It didn't seem right.
Damien let out a breath of air when Orion had asked what they should do now. "Orion...I am in no condition to help with that thought...I've taken quite a blow to the head. Even now, my head's spinning a little." Even with his black hair, it was easy to see that there was blood on Damien's head. It dribbled a little down his forehead. Aiden, while this was going on, snoozed soundly.
Kane decided to speak. "If it helps-!" He never got to finish that sentence. From seemingly nowhere, something stabbed through his heart from the back. Kane's eyes widened with shock before the life seemed to leave him and he fell to the ground, dead.
"NO!" Aiden screamed. He had woken up during the conversation and saw Kane's demise. Damien turned, swinging his blade but a bolt of lightning came from seemingly nowhere and zapped him before he could stop the woman with the scythe who had murdered Bartimaeus.
"Well, well, well...I see you have discovered another keyblade. How fortunate!" Ivan's voice came as Damien crumpled to the floor, in pain. The woman with the scythe grabbed hold of Damien's ankle and dragged him away from Orion and Aiden. The bolt, it seemed, had seemingly stunned him enough for him to not move. Ivan stepped out where the other two could see him as he glanced over at the battle.
"Hm, interesting to see what has become of Lakari. I thought he was someone more calculating than this but no matter...regardless of who wins matters not...so long as the keyblade comes our way one way or another." Ivan then turned his gaze onto Aiden and Orion. A dark grin on his face. "If you want to see your...friend...this disgrace of an existence...I advise you bring one of the remaining keyblades along with you...until then...goodbye!" Ivan stated. The woman with the scythe tore open a portal and dragged Damien through it, whom had recovered somewhat enough to tell Aiden and Orion something.
"Forget about me! Don't risk your lives for me! Save yourse-" The woman let out a laugh before hitting Damien in the head, knocking him out and cutting him off. The two disappeared from view through the portal before Ivan laughed at them and went through the portal. The portal soon closed behind him. It looks like their decision was already made for them. Now, how were Aiden and Orion going to get out of here? The answer remained yet to be seen. Could maybe one of the combatants help them? If it was Lakari then that would be a fat chance. Or maybe, an outside source? Who knows?
Rekka moved aside as Amber told her to let her try something. "Alright, be my...guest...?" Rekka stated. She wasn't sure why but she suddenly got a foreboding feeling. It wasn't with them, she didn't think. It was odd. Actually, it was like that time when she had sensed Orion was about to be shot by an arrow. This time, it felt like something was wrong with Damien. She hoped the others were alright. All she could do now was watch as Amber communicated with the Earth. Rekka saw that symbol appear on her friend, much like her own except their letters meant something different.
Suddenly, Amber began to transfer energy to Natalia. Miraculously, as Amber had ceased it, Natalia was opening her eyes! "Amber! She's waking up!" Rekka exclaimed, shocked. It had seemed like Natalia had been the living dead earlier but now she was alive! Just what could this all mean? "What did you do, Amber?" Rekka had asked her.

((OOC: Perfectly fine. Though poor Damien!))
Silver was not an easy creature to anger. Well anger intentionally... However there was one subject that was a bit of a sore spot for the serpent. And Jean had hit it right on the head! Why had Silver been forced to wait for so many years before making an appearance. "You think to lecture me!" He shouted in anger, his anger fueling his attack putting more pressure on the downward attack.
Finally it seemed like Jean was force to break as she dodged to the side, as Silver brought his attack downward. Free of resistance, the attack struck where Jean had been arcing downward. Where it arced past a wave of destructive energy expelled pushing forward. It was sent to the barrier, which of course was reflected as it came right back at them. This time even Silver was forced to roll out of the way, getting farther away as the energy in the form of a crescent moon about a foot in diameter and as tall as his swing had been. It exploded near them, sending up chunks of marble flooring and creating a white dusty smoke.
Standing and regaining his composure, Silver could see only Jean's figure through the smoke but not her features. He walked towards her. "You should know that answer darling! Our last encounter had me all but killed if it was not for a certain elf who also was facing death! We knew alone neither of us would survive, but together we stood a chance. So we made a magical pact. 400 years of life, but after 400 years it was my turn. But the snake tried to trick me. He thought to destroy his own body before I gained control. Well look at me now! He is dead in the ground and I am as good as new! And you!"
Coming out of the smoke, Silver gazed at Jean. "My darling once you are defeated you will be mine! I will make you my bride, and together we will make wonderful babies!" Silver crackled laughing and smiling. It seemed he had a very different plan then taking Jean's body for his own. "So let's play!" Silver launched into another attack sending a series of attacks in all sorts of directions and following it up with another double handed swing!
While this occurred a familiar voice spoke in Jean's mind. "Cone on ya hold hag! I told Artemis to give you the blade for a reason! The Keyblade of Life has the power to channel summon those who were closest to you to aid you in battle. Summon us already!"
The events of the battle between Lakari and Jean however went unnoticed by Orion as they were visited by some more rotten luck. It seemed at first that everything was going to be all right when Kane was suddenly cut off! Spotting a scythe sticking out of the man, Orion went wide eyed in temporary shock! His eyes went from the dying Kane to the woman standing behind him!
It was her! The woman from the Land of Drgaons that had killed Bartimaeus. Not only that but the other heads were here too! Summoning his sword, Orion was about to launch into an attack when a burst of lightning struck Damien! "No!" Orion shouted in protest as Damien went down. He took a step towards Damien, but came to an abrupt halt as Ivan appeared.
Damien's stepfather had arrived on the scene. Eyes squinting, Orion's grip on his sword tightened as his anger rose. Why was it that every time things started to look alright someone else had to show up and ruin that?! Orion was itching to fight either of these two, but he knew that if he launched into an attack now Ivan might hurt Damien. If there was one thing Ivan lacked it was any love for his stepson.
"Let him go!" Orion said. To that Ivan responded by informing them that they had to bring them the keyblade. Orion glanced back at the barrier. Jean and Lakari were going at it again, going into another burst of attacks.
Hearing the fizzle of a portal, Orion turned back to Ivan and the woman. They retreated into the portal and there was noting Orion could do about it! "Damn it!" Kane was dead and now Damien was captured! Could things get much worse?
Wherever they were, it wasn't too far from the battle. Damien had portaled them back towards the start of the ruins. Amber had realized that when she was connected with the earth. She was tired and slightly sleepy. But it was good to see Natlia was alright. The elf blinked. "My head hurts." The elf said, touching it with her forearm.
Hearing Natalia talk was a good sign. "I channeled through the earth. Not to certain how I did it, but I did. The earth's alive Rekka. It was the most amazing thing I've ever experienced." She told her friend. Currently all three of them were rather too injured to really get up and get back to the scene of the battle. After healing Natalia, Amber needed some time before she'd be able to be that much of assistance.
"Where is everyone?" Natalia asked.

Jean hadn't intentionally tried to anger Silver. If anything, she was wondering what had taken him so long to attack again and exact revenge on her. Somehow, despite her menacing words earlier the only thing that seemed to bother Silver was something entirely unintentional and just merely a question more than anything. The power behind the attack that had been coming down on her had only increased, forcing Jean to jump aside. As there was no longer anything preventing the attack from moving forward, Silver's attack hit the ground and produced some sort of energy that was reflected back!
Jean let out a curse as she darted aside more. The energy arc barely missed both Silver and her! When it hit, it had hit the ground hard. Bringing up an arm to shield her face from the debris, Jean let out a cough before lowering her arm now that she was certain no dangerous chunks of flooring would get into her eyes. She, too, could see Silver but it was just his silhouette. As he spoke, she gritted her teeth. She had a funny feeling that Silver meant something different than being a body snatcher. Where he was as good as dead back then, another being had almost died the same time. It was Lakari whom had made a magical pact with Silver. Four hundred years of life. The elf was in control during those four hundred years and then it was Silver's turn. Lakari had tried to trick Silver but he had failed. Honestly, Jean wasn't surprised. Silver, even though he was insane, was still very sly. He had more minds packed into one, after all. Now, after killing Lakari when he had left his own body, Silver took over it and here they were now.
"I see, so that's how you managed it."
Finally, Silver broke through the dust. Jean stood poised, ready for anything as he continued. Even now, the serpent was still crazy about her despite the fact that she had killed him. Well, nearly considering he had made that magical pact. The laugh that ensued only disgusted Jean. Her eyes narrowed when he spoke as if he had already won. Silver then lunged at her with a series of attacks. Jean parried what she could, got hit with some which hadn't been pleasant for her and retaliated to the best of her abilities. If this keyblade were her swords, she'd know how to better use it. The weapon was too new to her for her to fully understand what it could do.
Then, from seemingly nowhere, a familiar voice reached her. Jean's eyebrows rose considerably at the sudden contact as she dodged an attack coming her way from Silver. A slight smile appeared on her face then. 'You know, shorty, it would have been nicer to be actually told ahead of time what this thing does!' she replied in thought, amusement in her tone. 'Get ready, guys!' she told those she planned on channeling through.
Focusing her attention then on Silver, it was Jean's turn to smile in a forbidding manner. Her's wasn't a crazed one, however. "You know what they say, Silver. Don't count your chickens before they hatch!" she mused as she raised the keyblade into the air. A beam of light illuminated the area and suddenly, there were more people in the barrier than before. Silver was now outnumbered.
Aiden was in shock as he watched Kane fall to the floor, dead. The teenager had grown accustomed to having the soldier around. It made him feel awkward but solidified the reality that Aiden's life had turned into. Kane had proclaimed Aiden to be the new king of the Land of Dragons. Now that Kane was gone, Aiden felt lost. Then again, how was he to be king of his home when there was probably no one left in it anymore to lead and rule over? Lifting his gaze, Aiden saw the lightning bolt hit Damien, whom had crumpled to the floor.
"DAMIEN!" the boy shouted. Damien couldn't move regardless of what his friends said, however. He was in too much pain.
As Orion told Ivan ad the woman to release Damien, Ivan just gave a dark laugh. "Sorry but I don't think so."
After mention of the keyblade, Ivan turned and left after the woman and the portal had sealed shut behind them. Damien was nowhere to be seen, taken captive by the woman and Ivan. The other two heads had filed out as well, laughing at the two young men as they went.
While Orion cursed at their situation, Aiden couldn't take it anymore. He let tears fall from his face in his despair. "Wh-What are we...going to do, Orion?" he wept. "Wh-Where are the others? What are we going to tell them?" No one could blame Aiden for acting the way he was right now. Since Orion was older than him, he had clung to the hope that maybe Orion would know what to do in this situation.
Rekka heard Natalia state that her head had hurt. "At least you're alright for the most part. We were worried that you wouldn't wake up."
Rekka turned her attention toward Amber next when she said that she had somehow channeled through the Earth and did it that way. She wasn't sure how to explain her experience but it had been a good one. According to Amber, the Earth was alive. "Wow, that's amazing! Thank goodness for your power...anyway, where are we?"
Then, Natalia brought up the next most important thing. Where were the others?
"I'm...not sure..." Rekka looked around. "I guess we're...still somewhere in the ruins?"
