They came one after another. Taking the form of spirits at first, transparent yet retaining their various outfits and accessories, they solidified and for a short while they could aid her in her fight. No longer was Jean alone. Red was one of the first to return. Looking not a day over the day he died, the sixteen year old may be short but he retained his hardiness and overall rugged appearance. Following him were the others, all who Jean considered her closest friends.
Silver was no longer just facing a single enemy. Now he faced a small platoon or army. "Unfair, unfair!" He shouted in a childish tone. "No one said you can just change the game!" It was hard to tell if Silver was actually angry or not, with the smile on his face.
Red glanced over at Jean and the others. "What say we kick this serpent's ass once and for all!" He encouraged.
Outside the barrier Orion was at a lost what to do. Everything had happened so quickly he hadn't even gotten a glimpse of what was transpiring inside the barrier. Damien was gone, Kane was dead, and Aiden... well Aiden was pretty messed up because of everything. The girls were gone to god's knows where. Orion was the only one left and he couldn't just sit around and do nothing! Damien's life hung in the balance.
"Come on, think!" What could they do in this situation? Should they try to find the girls? And what about the girl who had appeared out of Aiden? Glancing back at the battle between Lakari and Jean he was surprised to find that something had transpired while his eyes had been off. There were a number of individuals now inside the barrier! Where the heck had they appeared from? Were they this woman's allies?!
Perhaps with the keyblade and her friends the woman stood a chance against Lakari... But how was he to get the keyblade from her? Could he just take it? Would it work like that? Orion didn't have the slightest idea of what to do. "Aiden how are you feeling? Do you think you'd be strong enough to take a quick look around this place. You have the best chance of finding the girls. We need to track them down." Perhaps one of them would know what to do in this situation.
The girls were still in the ruins. Where exactly... well that was hard to say. Amber, glancing around, couldn't put a finger on where exactly they were. "I think you're right. I think were still in the ruins. I have no idea how we got here though, or where the others are." Agreeing with Rekka, Amber wondered what they should do now.
Natalia slowly was getting up from off the ground and managed to push herself into a sitting position. "If you give me a moment I can try and see if I can sense anything with my magic. I'm still weak from that battle, but I'll try."
Speaking of the battle, Amber wondered if perhaps the guys were still fighting Lakari. Were they alive? Dead? Would they be of much help if they returned? "What happened to you Natalia?" One moment Natalia had been fine and the next she had started screaming and had fallen to the floor. Amber was inquiring into that incident.
Natalia answered promptly, "I had attempted to attack Lakari through his mind with magic. I failed and instead was attacked by him in such a manner. Thousands of voices pounced on me. It took all my magic to wrestle my consciousness back from him. I didn't think I'd survive."
Watching Natalia, Amber could see fear creep up on the elf maiden's face. The incident she had just described scared the elf terribly. Amber could see it in he expression. "But one thing is for certain. The Chief Elder was right. That is not Lakari. But I know now what it is. I saw it briefly."
This was something new. Amber glanced at Rekka then to Natalia. "I know what we have to do to kill it." She said.

Jean could see that her friends were transparent yet there was something about them that told her they would be of help in this fight. As Silver stated that this wasn't fair and that she had changed the game, Jean just looked toward Red. There was a sense of deja vu. A memory of the past that had once been. Once again, they were all here. Yes, Artemis, Red, Ryuu, Sain, Dyne and Rowen from all those years ago. The only reason why another wasn't present was because she was still alive somewhere.
"Just like old times..." Jean murmured. With her friends here, she felt more encouraged. Hearing Red's voice, she smirked.
"Lets do this, guys!"
Aiden blinked through the tears as Orion spoke to him. He was asking him how he was feeling and if he'd be able to take a quick look around. "I...I can try..." Aiden pushed himself up onto his feet again, wiping at his face to rid it of the tears before looking around. He glanced at the fight, raising his brows at the sight of more people appearing in the barrier.
"Whoa! Where did they all come from?" Aiden shook his head though, remembering that Orion wanted him to find the women. "Er, sorry! On it now!" With that, Aiden took off. His run wasn't as fast as it was because of his change. His exhaustion slowed him to a normal human being's speed. As he went, he tried to sense for any hint of the girls. He thought he heard voices but it was hard to tell since the battle behind him was pretty loud and distracting.
Rekka looked from Amber to Natalia as Amber agreed that they were in the ruins too but where, she couldn't be sure. Natalia had then stated that if they gave her a moment, she would try to sense where they were with her magic. "Alright, just don't overdo it."
It didn't take long before Amber had asked Natalia what had happened. Natalia answered her. She had tried to attack Lakari's mind with her own but found that there were a thousand voices or so that had all pounced upon her own. The attack had been so overwhelming that Natalia had just narrowly retracted her consciousness with her magic. She wasn't sure what would have happened to her and thought she would have died.
"Well, at least you're alright now."
According to Natalia Lakari wasn't Lakari. She did see what it was though and knew how to kill it, whatever it was. "Wait...so that wasn't Lakari? That explains the personality change. Anyway, what is he if he's not Lakari?"

They were all there. Red glanced at Artemis, Ryuu, Sain, Dynne, Rowen and Jean. It had been a long time since they had all been together like this. Red knew it was temporary, but still it felt good to be alive again. Being a part of the dead was different then the living. He no longer was a part of the physical world, so he had no clue as to the state of affairs or anything of those sorts. Still he knew this creature, and he remembered the elf. One of the enemies they had thought they defeated was still living. They needed to defeat him.
Silver didn't seem very intimidated by the arrival of more then five more people he had to fight. "Well since the game has changed I guess we should even the playing field a little shant we?" Silver said with a grin. The pipe like barrier weapon disappeared from his grasp. Holding his hand up a keyblade appeared in his hands. Different then the one Jean held, this was the same keyblade that Lakari had been in control over. Made with a hilt made of bones and a blade that was all black in color.
Without a further moment, Silver charged forward sending a series of slashes at anyone who dared to try and get in his way. All the while he laughed maniacally.
Watching Aiden bolt out of the room, Orion glanced down at Kane. While the man had just joined them a short while ago, Orion felt sad that he had died. Bending down he shut his open eyelids. Too many deaths already. First Bartimaeus, now Kane. And Damien was captured... What would he do if Damien died?! A picture of Damien dead flashed by and frightened Orion. No! He couldn't let that happen! He had to do something.
Glancing back at the barrier he watched Lakari wielding that keyblade from before now. He was rushing towards all the people. Would they be able to defeat Lakari? Sure there were a number of them now, but Lakari seemed more than capable of being able to defeat that many number before. That woman with the keyblade was their best hope for winning.
"I should be doing something.... Not just standing around." But what could he do here? What would Bartimaeus have done in this situation?
"The true test of a leader in battles comes when he is placed in a situation upon where he has no idea what he is to do. It will be a challenge and one where his life and others will be dependent on his decisions. Remember this Orion. There are always options. Some are better than others, but that depends on not just the situation but on the person making the decision too. I would say it matters less what decision is made as much as one is capable of holding to the said decision."
Well he had made some decisions. He had sent Aiden to find the girls. That was one of the first things they needed to do. They needed to recuse Damien. How they were going to do that...? Well he hadn't a clue, but he knew that they had to do it. They wanted a keyblade... It wasn't likely that the woman would just hand over the keyblade to them. Plus doing so would be disasterous for everybody. Suddenly a thought entered Orion's mind. An idea... An idea that might just work.
Amber was listening to Natalia along with Rekka. "There is something inside Lakari. A being of an ancient race. They were parasites that used a host body to live. I had actually visited the ruins of their city during my travels to other worlds. I do not know who exactly that being is, but he is a creature of that race."
What Natalia described sounded nasty. Just the thought of being possessed by a creature made Amber shiver. "What happens if the host body dies?" Amber asked.
Natalia answered, "The creature cannot live for long. They need a host body to survive."
So it seemed that they just needed to kill her father. Well that was where things were getting complicated. Lakari was too powerful. How the heck were they supposed to kill him? Natalia had said that she knew how to kill him though. She was about to ask Natalia what she meant by that when the sound of footsteps made her pause. Someone was coming this way! Summoning her axe, Amber glanced towards the fast paced sound. "Someone's coming..."

Rowen walked over and stood next to Red, that all familiar smirk on his face as he looked upon Lakari. "Hm, just like old times, eh fellas? Eh shorty?" Rowen stated as he glanced over at Red. Even in the afterlife, Rowen pestered Red and vice versa. Sain gave a sigh and Dyne face palmed.
"There goes my brother again," Dyne stated. Since Dyne had died and returned, for this moment, he was able to speak again after so long. Ryuu gave a nod at that.
"Things haven't changed...for us anyway."
Except the fact we're alive for just this moment!" Sain retorted.
"Then let's make it the best, shall we?" Jean stated and the others agreed.
Silver suggested that the playing fields even out. Much to Jean's surprise, Silver pulled out a keyblade. Lakari was dangerous without one. Now that Silver had his body plus a keyblade, things certainly seemed tougher. "Well guys, here we go!" Jean stated as Silver charged them.
Ryuu, Sain and Dynne charged at Silver. Since he made a slash at each of them, they were forced to parry to avoid getting slashed but blocking a keyblade was no easy thing. Rowen, since his style of fighting was long range, resorted to firing a light arrow at him. Jean brought up the rear.
While Orion was going through plans on what to do, and Aiden searched for the girls, Rekka and the other two women were discussing what was going on with what Natalia had discovered. According to the elf, the being that was inside Lakari was an ancient creature that was said to live by taking over an individual's body. Rekka scrunched up her nose upon hearing this one.
"That's disgusting!" Rekka stated.
Amber went on to ask Natalia what happened if the host's body died. Of course, the thing would need a new body to try and live. Without one, it would certainly die. However, that thing was inside Lakari. There was no possible way for them to kill Lakari's body, was there? "That sounds...very complicated."
The three didn't get to chat for long, however, as the sound of scurrying footsteps reached their ears. It was Amber that alerted them to the sound first as she stated that someone was coming. Rekka pulled out her blade silently. As they waited, they would soon see a tired figure coming into view. One with blue hair.
"Whew, I can't keep this one up!" Aiden stated, taking that moment to bend down and put his hands on his knees, leaning on them for support as he breathed heavily.

As they exchanged words it really did feel like they hadn't been gone from each other little longer than a moment. Even Dynne had a voice now, which surprised Red since he had never heard the man speak before. As Silver went on the offense, Red summoned a sword to his side. The Cursed Blade was a weapon familiar to him, making his one arm completely skeleton from its curse.
Coming into range of Silver, Red attempted a sword strike at his side right about the same time Rowen fired an arrow of light on his left. One would think that with a two prong attack there was no way Silver, even in Lakari's body, could manage to deflect both. But alas, Lakari was a fearsome opponent, and the keyblade he held made him stronger. With the hand that held the keyblade he rounded a slash, knocking the arrow from thin air with a parry. With his free hand he extended it, creating a brief barrier shield that met Red's attack. With the ability to counter the attack with sending the same force right back at him, Red found his blow throwing him off to the side and away from Silver.
Moving past Red, Silver briefly paused his advance and pushed his free hand outward, first bringing back to his chest and extending it with the palm outface towards Rowen. It created a barrier wall six feet by six feet that rushed forward at Rowen.
Eyeing Dynne and Ryu, Silver brought his arm back and sent his keyblade forward in a boomeranging arc that would attempt to attack them from both the front and then the back as it came back towards him. Additionally he summoned a barrier sword, and in the same fashion as he had attacked Jean sent three of them at Sain. All of this was to free up his pathway to Jean as he ran forward. Closing the remaining distance his keyblade came arcing back to him just in time for him to issue a full swing at Jean as he caught it and sent the force of the returning blade into a slash aimed at Jean's shoulder.
Orion on the other hand was gone. He ran as fast as he could through the ruins. His intent however was not to find Aiden or the girls. He ran for the exit and the field that had led them to the ruins. He hadn't really an idea as to where he was supposed to go to find Damien, the four heads hadn't exactly told them where to meet them, but he figured they would meet them somewhere in this world. But for Orion's plan to work he had to fetch something first. Something Aiden had left at the entrance to the ruins.
Amber, ready for battle, was relieved to see that it was only Aiden who had found them. He came up to them, out of breath, leaning on Amber, and drawing in rapid mouthfuls of air. "You should be more careful. We thought you were an enemy." Amber told him.
Still this was good. Now that Aiden was here perhaps he could lead them back to Orion and Damien. "What's happened? Boy do you know how we got here?" Natalia asked.

Jean was reminded of the cursed weapon that Red used to use. It had eventually turned into a keyblade. Unfortunately, the revival seemed to have reverted him back to his state before that in terms of weapons. It was bittersweet in a sense to see his arm become entirely skeletal again.
Rowen and Red attacked at the same time. One would think one of their attacks would have surprised Silver but it didn't. He parried Rowen's arrow and then conjured a barrier to counter Red's slash. By doing so, he had sent Red flying back and away. As Silver charged through, he shot another barrier at Rowen. Rowen thought he would be smart and put up that barrier he always used. Go figure that it would work against him in that sense. Before he knew it, Rowen got bounced around the barrier at large because of his barrier being bounced off the surface.
"I'M GONNA PUKE!"
Dyne shook his head at his brother. Well, at least he was...alive? Sort of? Dyne and Ryuu were forced to go on the defensive when Silver attacked. Ryuu managed to dodge the blade, Dyne managed to duck but got smacked from behind and wound up falling forward onto the ground in a heap. That looked like it hurt.
Now, all that was left was Jean. She saw Silver coming in fast. After the blade returned to his hand, he aimed a slash for her shoulder. Jean retaliated by bringing her's up to clash against his. Leaping backward while being sure to not hit the barrier, Jean seemed to disappear in the blink of on eye. Behind Silver, she would appear and would aim a strike for his back with a downward slash.
Rekka watched in silence as Aiden came into view. The teenager was worn out. He had no injuries on him but he was clearly tired over something. Had something happened? Rekka feared for the worst as Amber met with Aiden, allowing him to lean on her as he gasped in mouthfuls of air. When she chided him, he didn't seem to care. He was too tired to. Then, Natalia questioned him. Regaining himself, Aiden looked directly at her with furrowed brows of annoyance.
"You kn ow my name, it's Aiden! And...And-!" Aiden had to breathe a few moments before continuing. "D-Damien...sent you here...he's the only one...who could."
"Orion...sent me to find you. Thankfully, you're here. Lakari's fighting Jean, my ancestor...and a few others. So he's too busy to bother with us right now but..." Aiden went quiet before looking toward the area whence he came. "K-Kane's...dead...That woman...the one who killed that Bartimaeus. She was the one who did it. And Damien...Ivan got him. They took him. Damien's gone. Ivan said they wanted the keyblade and weren't going to give Damien back unless we got one."
"Why can't we get a break?" Rekka stated, her gaze lowering a bit with sadness knowing that Kane had died. It was also depressing knowing that Damien was held captive. He had helped them a good deal in the Land of Dragons despite his attitude problem.

Amber didn't like the situation. Things had gotten even more complicated. While it seemed some ancestor or sorts had come to battle that creature that now controlled Lakari, they had a whole new problem on their hands! Damien had been captured and they needed a keyblade to get him back. "Like we just have a keyblade to give them?!" Shaking her head, Amber didn't like the sound of this one bit.
Rekka was right about the break part! Nothing ever seemed to go there way for long. "We should get back. I think I know a way to defeat the creature. You said that suit of armor was alive right child? That keyblade just might be the key to killing that creature."
Glancing at Natalia, Amber wondered what sort of power the keyblade had that Natalia thought could kill the creature who controlled her father's body. Seeing her raised eyebrow, Natalia further explained. "I have a theory. The creatures are parasites, they require another body for them to live else they die. Taking over a body, or body snatching, is nothing new. There is a record of one person who had the ability to send his heart into another, thus taking over there body. To do this he used a keyblade. What if these creatures are exactly that. A simple heart that, on its own, cannot survive. Perhaps a keyblade then may be able to separate the creature from the body. The body would be useless in that moment then. You could kill the body, rendering the heart hopeless."
Listening to her theory, Amber glanced to Aiden and Rekka. The theory seemed pretty far fetched to Amber. When she pictured parasite she thought of a creature with its own body. Still it was something. It was more of a plan then she had at the moment.
"Well either way us waiting here ain't going to do anything. Aiden lead the way."
Back in the throne room, Silver launched his attack against Jean. His attack met hers for a moment before she leaped back. Watching her leap back, Silver went to charge forward when she disappeared from view. "Sneaky little one." He shouted aloud as she appeared behind him and aimed a slash at his back. Silver wasn't ready for it and the attack connected with his back. Slicing into his skin his forward momentum was what saved him from a heavier hit.
Red on the other hand was getting back up. He wasn't out of this battle yet! He wasn't about to let Jean have all the fun. Seeing Jean succeed in cutting the bastards back he had new found courage. Heck he was techniquely already dead anyway! Charging forward he let out a battle cry and hopefully encourage Jean to continue on the offensive. He came at Silver's right.
Silver however didn't look to pleased by what had happened to him. He hadn't expected to actually get hurt. His face masked his feelings. But one thing was certain, he wasn't laughing or smiling anymore! As Red came at him, Silver extended his hand toward. Coming to a halt thinking that he was about to get attacked from the front, Red didn't expect to be attacked from the edge of the barrier. The edge of the barrier nearest him and come to life as inch long pillars had expanded from the wall and shot forward. They stabbed through Red's chest like a piercing sword causing about seven holes.
"Damn dieing still hurts." Red said, blood trickling from his lips. As the pillars retreated back into the wall Red dropped. He was dead once more, his body vanishing from view as it returned back to where ever it came from.
Silver slowly turned his head to Jean. "I'm done playing." At that moment the walls nearest everyone besides Jean shot out pillars in the same fashion that they had at Red. Seven pillars of one inch barrier all trying to stab there foe.

When Damien woke up, it wasn't in a place he wanted to be. He felt pain all over. A dull, throbbing pain that ran through his head reminded him of the injury he got there and reminded him of the smack the woman had done to his head. Where was he? Well, as he opened his eyes slowly and looked around, Damien realized that he was in a darkly lit room. His arms and legs were restrained. Looking down, he found that he was ensnared by what appeared to be branches from a tree. No doubt, Ivan resorted to that tree thing again with that damned book!
'Speaking of which, why not just use the damn book and get everything done and over with?' Damien had wondered. Surely, they should just be able to create whatever they wanted like this tree here? Unless...there was a catch? Or maybe something that the book actually couldn't do?
"Ah, so you've finally woken." Damien blinked as he turned his head to where the voice had come from. The figure stepped forth for him to see. It was Ivan. This time, he had his face revealed. Damien and Ivan looked nothing alike. Seeing his adoptive father only reminded Damien of how much he hated the man. Sure, he raised him but everything he taught him was for the sake of one huge lie. He had been brainwashed. From the core of Damien's being, he hated this man. If he wasn't tied up, Damien would have tried to fight him even in the condition that he was in.
"Hm...such anger in someone so young...amusing. Amusing to think that you would even consider being able to defeat me right now. A mere descendant of a line of assassins, how sad." Ivan seemed to relish in talking down to Damien. Damien just remained silent, unblinking as he glared at Ivan, the man he had once thought to be his father. He did jerk at his bindings though but to no avail. Only just then did he realize his shirt, arm guard and cape was gone. Already, Damien could guess what was going to happen. It was pretty obvious. Hopefully, Orion found whatever he was searching for soon.
Aiden tiredly remained put while the others conversed. He was ready to just go to sleep right now. As Amber spoke, Rekka was frustrated with the situation just as much as well as despaired. How the heck were they going to get their hands on a keyblade that wasn't even their's? How would they be able to grab one when the people that had them were currently fighting?
After a moment, Natalia spoke. She had a theory that a keyblade was what could remove the parasite from the body of Lakari and render it useless so long as the body was destroyed. Rekka looked back over at Amber, just as puzzled. Still, it looked like they didn't have much choice in this. "So basically, our hopes rest with whoever this Jean is fighting Lakari? Great, not sure that settles well with me. What are we to do? Spectate? I don't exactly have a microphone for that one." She wasn't angry at Natalia, just their whole situation.
"How the heck are we going to get Damien back anyway? Getting a keyblade's hard enough! Don't get me started on the fact that none of us, save for Natalia, know how to portal around. Where would we even go if we knew how to anyway?"
It was Amber that cut their discussion short stating that regardless they weren't getting anything done by sitting there. With that, they set off with Aiden leading the way back out and down the hall from whence he had come.
Back with Jean and the others, things weren't going so swell. What sense of nostalgia that they all had, as well as gladness, had been taken away right after Jean had sliced Silver's back. Honestly, he should have guessed this was the sort of attack that Jean would resort to. It was the same fashion that she had killed Silver the first time. Well, thought she had killed him.
"Sneaky? I thought it was obvious to you by now."
What happened next, well, it had certainly dismayed Jean. Red had been the first. Jean watched with horror as Red was killed off and then the others. Anger grew in Jean as she turned toward Silver as he spoke. So, Silver wasn't playing anymore. That much she could tell. Now, it was just Jean and Silver again.
"You do realize I can summon them back as often as you can kill them?" Granted, Jean didn't think her friends would be too pleased if she did that. It would be an endless torture for them to come back, die and repeat. Great, now what was she going to do?

With the death of her comrades, Silver was back to his smiling self. "Darling, I think we finished this. You should know the moment you allowed yourself to be locked in here you would be defeated. This is my domain, and you willingly stepped into it." As he had shown before he controlled this place. Showing his power, Silver closed his outstretched hand into a fist. Doing so the walls around them began to move closer, enclosing them in a smaller distance. Whereas before there had been about twenty to thirty feet to move around in, now there was about ten feet by ten feet.
Jean could summon her friends, but they'd make things a little crowded for everyone. Silver went into a battle stance. "Let's finish this darling!" There was no more running or hiding! Silver stepped forward launching into a series of attacks with his keyblade.
Amber followed Aiden, running down hallways and past familiar structures. Things were starting to look familiar as they followed the teenager. The kid was still a bit faster then they were do to his naturally increase speed, so they followed behind him running as fast as their energy allowed. Amber was still slightly tired, but she at least had some of her energy back. Being connected to the earth did drain her very steadily, but she now knew how to gather energy from the earth and add it to her own. It made things slightly easier.
Coming finally to the throne room, Amber was surprised by the scene in front of them. Aiden had been right that Silver was combating some woman. This Jean person, was fighting in an enclosed barrier against Lakari. Both of them had keyblades as they each attempted to strike the other.
Natalia, who was bringing up the rear was reading the magic in the room. She could see the barrier that enclosed the two of them and the power that radiated from the keyblades. "Well that may complicate things..." Natalia said.
Glancing at her Amber waited for her to continue. "Well he has a keyblade too. He may be able to prevent her from doing anything with the keyblade."
Well what were they to do now? And where the heck was Orion? Amber didn't see him anywhere either. She glanced down at Aiden. "Orion said to meet him here right?"

Jean had known this was Silver's domain. That hadn't stopped her from entering it willingly. As Silver spoke, she watched as he closed his fist, narrowing the space between them. Time was running out. She had to fight more aggressively at this point. Silver, because of Lakari, now had a keyblade in hand. She at least managed to injure his back. Of course, she didn't think it would slow him down by much. Silver seemed to attack through whatever injuries he obtained because his true body was always concealed within the host's body. If she wanted to get at him, she needed to cut through and into the body. That was no easy endeavor though.
"Arrogance is a fatal flaw," Jean stated simply before they clashed again. In the closer proximity, it was tougher to avoid attacks. Despite how good of a dodger and parrier she was, even she obtained injuries of her own from Silver as she retaliated. She wasn't sure how she was going to do it but she somehow needed to figure out a way to stop Silver. If he were allowed to live on again, he'd wreak havoc on everything around him. The outside world right now wasn't even in her mindset. She just knew that she needed to stop him...and she didn't have much time to learn how to even use her weapon so she was at a disadvantage.
Jean could hear voices outside but what good were they? Someone had said something about the situation having gotten more complicated. Jean almost had half the mind to shout "no shit sherlock" but decided to keep her attention focused on Silver's attacks. If she didn't, Silver would kill her.
"Alright, then I'm not playing anymore either." Jean slashed at Silver once, from in front, disappeared and appeared on his left, repeated, then proceeded to attack from his right and finally, from behind. The four way slash.
Aiden, who had brought the others back, noticed that. "Hey, I know that technique. I can do that too!" When Amber asked if Orion told him to meet him there, Aiden nodded. "I don't know where he is. He should have been here."

Amber's attention was less focused on the battle and more on Aiden and searching for Orion. When Aiden had informed them that Orion ought to be here, she glanced around again. He wasn't here either! Had something happened while Aiden had left. It wouldn't surprise her if the Order of the Destroyer had returned for Orion too. They seemed like a fearsome bunch from the stories she had heard.
While Amber and Rekka had mostly managed to remain free of the Order, Amber had previous encounters with their members in Cornelia. Those under the Order were brainwashed! The things they preached sounded just, but when they were being used to destroy things and harm innocents it should clearly that they were trouble.
"Everyone just keeps disappearing." She said, turning back to the battle. Aiden's ancestor and Lakari were in the center of the room deadlocked in battle. Each were taking turns attacking and defending, trying their hardest to defeat the other.
When Jean went for the four way slash, Lakari / Silver intercepted and blocked the first. He managed to parry the second, but the third and final slash connected. Lakari let out a growl of pain as he was attacked from the right and from behind as the attack bruised and sliced into him leaving a nasty gash on his side and adding to the previous attack at his back.
As Jean reappeared in front of him, Lakari fell down to one knee. Having to use his keyblade as a crutch, Lakari's angry eyes stared daggers at Jean. But the expression melted away as it turned into a grin. "My, my darling. Splendid as ever." Blood was dripping from the attack at Lakari's back down his shirt and onto the floor. "That last one really did quite a number. But you should have realized by now I'd never let you win."
Suddenly between Jean and Lakari another wall began to slam down from above attempting to cut off Lakari / Silver and Jean. If she was caught she'd find herself separated and enclosed by herself in a barrier prison box.
It was about that time that Orion suddenly made his appearance. He returned bear chested and carrying his shirt around the blade of a keyshaped weapon in his hands. Spotting Amber, Aiden, Rekka, and Natalia he was glad to see that at least they were alright. "Aiden you found them!"

Rekka looked around carefully too for Orion. Since she had one eye, she had to turn her head more than the others to get a good look around their immediate area. Considering the damage she and the others received, it was surprising that the white eye patch she wore still somehow managed to stay on all this time. She had almost forgotten she had one on until it slipped a little and she had to push it back up.
As Amber spoke, Aiden looked around worriedly. Orion couldn't have been kidnapped too, could he? "B-But...he has to be here! He just has to be!" Aiden exclaimed. He didn't sense anything wrong except for the battle in the barrier between Jean and Lakari.
As Jean did her most well known and trademark attack, it looked like she may have won as Silver dropped to one knee. He had to use his keyblade as a means of holding himself up. His side and back were bleeding. Even today, after so many years and centuries, he hadn't been able to fully block the attack. For a moment, Jean really thought the fight was coming to a close and to her advantage. That was not to be the case and by now, she realized she should have been more aware of that fact and not dared to have hoped anything. He had killed her friends all over again and now what horrors he had for her? Well, she didn't want to think.
"Hmph, even if you kill me, I don't fear death!" Jean snapped back at him before a wall came crashing down. It happened so suddenly, even with Jean's speed she couldn't avoid it and she wound up separated from Silver in that damned barrier box. Now what? Jean glared daggers back at Silver. Just because he had things in mind for them didn't mean she would comply. Since she had already died before, killing herself wouldn't be an issue for her. Sure, it would hurt like hell still but she wasn't going to allow herself to be tormented like that.
At that moment, Aiden heard a voice and whirled around in surprise to find Orion there carrying something in cloth. Had that been Orion's shirt? It would certainly explain why he was prancing around shirtless. "And we found you...um..." Aiden made to say but trailed off, not sure how to respond before Rekka followed up, finishing the teenager's sentence.
"Half naked?" Rekka exclaimed, not really sure if she was seeing him correctly. No, she was seeing him correctly. For some reason he had cast off his upper attire and covered them over something. Just what was Orion doing? Not that Rekka minded the temporary eye candy but this was not a good time for someone to be running around without armor on. Even Aiden was looking back at him in confusion.
"...Is there a reason why you're running around with no shirt on?" Rekka questioned him. Aiden nodded at that.
"What are you holding, anyway?" Aiden asked him. It looked like a very familiar shape. "Wait...is that-?" Aiden asked him, cutting himself short.

Orion didn't respond to Rekka and Aiden's comments about why he bore no shirt. Well not directly anyway. When Damien had been captured Ivan had told them that if they wanted to see him again they would have to bring them the keyblade. Well, Orion figured that they'd do just that. Pulling back the shirt, Orion showed them the keyblade he had grabbed earlier and given to Aiden before it was tossed aside by the entrance to the ruins.
"Well they want a keyblade. I figure we best give them one." Orion couldn't help but grin at his clever plan. So long as they kept the weapon wrapped there was no way to tell if it was real or one of the fakes!
Amber liked the idea. They'd have to be careful when the leaders of the Order realized that the weapon was a fake, but hopefully they could come up with some idea to wrestle Damien from their grasp. "It may just work. If we do a..." Amber trailed off as her eyes turned to the scene with her father and Aiden's ancestor.
Just as it looked like things were going well for Jean she was suddenly trapped within a portal box. "No!" Amber gasped seeing Jean separated from Lakari.
Silver was all grins as he forced himself to a stand, however painfully it cost him. "Oh darling, I told you this was never about your death. You see once you are defeated with this powerful tool I can rewrite your heart. All you loved, all you know will be erased. Your loved ones, your memories, everything. I will then rewrite it so that you know only one thing. Devotion to me. I've waited four hundred years knowing that one day it would all come to this. The war this fool elf put on, the rise of the Wilder family, I could care for none of it. I only care for you."
Lakari raised his hand and clutched it into a fist causing the walls around Jean to slowly close in on each other. "Don't worry darling. I won't damage your body too much!" Laughing like a mad man Silver / Lakari watched in eagerness.
Amber on the other hand could not take it. No she'd not let one more person die. She hadn't been there to stop Damien being taken or the death of Kane. While she barley new the man she had still let him down. He probably had a family somewhere. And listening to what that creature who controlled her father planned to do with Jean. Well she had quite enough. No more death. She'd not allow it.
"Stop!" Amber shouted throwing out her arms, palms up. Surprisingly the barriers stopped just as they were about to close in on Jean. Amber felt it then. She had his blood. Her father might no longer be in there, but she had his blood. And with his blood she had the same magic he had inherited. For years she had blocked out any sense of her father. She wanted nothing to do with him, his blood, or elvan lineage.
For the first time though she embraced it. She embraced the elvan side of her. And the magic came to her naturally. The barriers around Jean vanished suddenly. Her eyes though were on Lakari and the creature inside of him. Eyes that had been taunting were now wide with surprise. Lips that were laughing were now taut and at a loss for words. "You've done enough!" She said.
Amber clapped her hands together and out from the barriers that surrounded Lakari still pillars of barrier shot out. They pierced the elf all over his body! Her father's eyes went wide. Then his mouth opened wide and the most disgusting thing Amber had ever seen came out of its body. It looked like a combination of a serpent, dragon, and human. It had the body of a snake, claws and feet of a dragon, but a small humanoid looking head with snake eyes, dragon ears that resembled Aiden's and slits for a nose. It was bald and hairless and if Amber had to guess only about two feet long.
"Well you killed it, but what the hell is that thing?!" Orion asked.
The creature turned its eyes on Amber and it let out an inhuman screech. Whatever it was, the creature was angry.

Orion didn't answer Rekka or Aiden. Instead, he simply pulled back the shirt he had covering something. Only then was it confirmed that Orion held one of the dead keyblades. Aiden recognized it as the one that he had held moments before entering the ruins. As Orion spoke, they all now knew where Orion was going with this. That explained the loss of his shirt.
"Ah, now that's a great idea!" Rekka replied. Aiden nodded as well while Amber spoke before she had cut herself off. As she did so, Rekka and Aiden had turned their gazes onto the scene as well. In the barrier, things had turned sour. Lakari was now winning over Aiden's ancestor.
What happened next surprised everyone, including Jean. It really looked as though she were about to die or go through some sort of serious pain. Jean lifted her own keyblade. She had it pointed at Lakari from where she was as he spoke. His idea for her was to rewrite her heart and try to erase her memories of her friends and everything else except devotion to him, which she never had for him. Jean hated Silver. The threat of losing her memories didn't sit well with her. As Silver smirked, having the barriers close in on her more, she heard him state that he wouldn't damage her body much.
Just before Jean considered turning the keyblade she had on herself the barrier walls had suddenly ceased. Blinking, Jean looked out toward the voice she had heard. There was a young, blond woman who had seemed to be the one responsible for stopping the barriers. Just how had she been able to do that? Jean didn't know that Amber was related to Lakari, the body that Silver now wore which was how she was able to stop the barriers. Jean, although surprised, was relieved of the other's arrival and help. It was unexpected but she was glad for it.
The barriers had vanished and now, Jean was free. All Jean could do now was watch as the girl told Silver that he had done enough. Did she know of Silver? Or was it Lakari that she was speaking to without realizing Silver now took over the elf's body? Then, the barrier turned on Silver. Parts of it went right through Lakari's body. Jean couldn't help but look on with shock. Well, that was an enemy down! Until the body of Silver seeped out from Lakari. Silver wasn't dead just yet.
"Uuuugh! Disgusting!" Rekka exclaimed. Aiden had scrunched his nose up as the thing screeched at Amber, angry looking.
"Eeeeew." The teenager looked like he was utterly repulsed as Orion asked what that thing was.
Jean then sprung into action. The others had no idea what they were up against. If she didn't get at Silver now, he'd dart for them and then it would be all over if he managed to get inside any of them for a new host. It's what Silver had done to her father and a number of other hosts whenever his previous one died.
"Get back!" Jean shouted at them as she charged for where Silver was standing in his true form. If she could cleave him in two before he darted away, she would save them from possession. Silver only lost his shell. He didn't lose his life just yet. When she got close, Jean attempted to swing her keyblade at him.
Rekka wasn't sure what Jean was talking about but she seemed intent on attacking what was left of Lakari...or rather, what had been inside him. It looked like the woman had some idea of what that creature was. She was running in haste to get at the thing. Rekka didn't know why but she took out her father's sword. She didn't want to risk the thing getting closer to her. Aiden was watching Silver closely. He was exhausted right now. If he wasn't, he might have been more able out of the rest to counter the creature's speed.

Orion had never heard such a sharp sounding screech before. It was like nothing he heard before, bringing his hands to his ears. When Jean had told them all to get back, Orion stepped back. He didn't want to get anywhere near that thing!
Natalia was the one who answered Orion's question. "Anguis!" She said in a whispered awe.
Glancing at her, Amber figured that was the name of the ancient creature. It was a disgusting looking creature that was for sure.
Jean launched into an attack. For a moment Silver had stayed stationary. Until Jean had launched into an attack. It didn't stay still then. When the keyblade came arcing down, it slithered through the air like a snake, bending it's body in attempt to avoid the attack. The strike though managed to hit part of it's torso. It's tough scales managed to deflect some of the blow, but not all of it. The scales broke away where Jean had hit and the creature let out another inhumane screech.
Where the scales fell away, upon closer examination one would see the lining of a scar from a previous attack. "Mam! Use your keyblade! It should be able to control it!" Natalia shouted.
The creature's head twisted towards Natalia, then back to Jean as the information passed to her. The creature then, suddenly shot through the air racing towards Natalia. Opening its mouth Natalia found herself facing four thick fangs as like a snake it went to bite Natalia.
Well Amber wasn't about to let that happen. Accessing her new powers she summoned a barrier wall in front of Natalia. It drained a lot of her magic, since she was already low on it already. Breathing heavily she watched the creature strike her barrier wall and have its attack repelled right at it. Blowing the creature back it let out a cry that sounded like it was in pain as it crashed into the floor about six feet from Jean!
Amber had stunned the creature. Now was the perfect opportunity for another attack!

Jean knew that she needed to get to Silver in a hurry. If he possessed anyone nearby, the whole fighting process would start all over again until he was flushed out of that new host or Jean died before that happened. Hopefully, she got to him before he took over that other girl's body. The one that had managed to tear down the barriers that Lakari's body had used. It was shocking that Silver had managed to even kill the elf. Jean had thought that Lakari had been dead until Rowen told her what happened two hundred years ago. Jean was glad that he was gone. After he had killed Sain, it had been difficult for her and the others to come to terms with their friend's death. It had even taken Jean a long time to get over Red's death, especially. If Red and Artemis had survived, Jean would have taken them both in. Now, here was Jean alive again without her friends. They had been there before but Silver had them killed off. She could summon them again but given their situation, she had to move in haste.
Thus, she charged for Silver and as she did so, Silver turned and used his serpentine body to avoid most of her attack. She felt the blade glance off hardened scales. Scales, by the looks of it, that had been knocked off by her weapon. On his skin, where she had struck, there was what looked to be a scar from a previous injury. Had that been the one she left on Lakari? No, that didn't seem right. No doubt, it was probably the attack she had unleashed on him centuries before.
Suddenly, a voice called out to her. It was another girl. There were three of them. Another had red hair and an eye patch from what she could see when she glanced in their direction. It was an elven girl that was speaking to her. Jean hadn't met that many elves except for Lakari. Silver, whom heard what the elf was saying had turned his attention toward the elf girl and then to Jean. Without warning, he shot towards them!
"NO-!" Jean exclaimed but it had already been too late. Silver was headed right for the elven girl!
"LOOK OUT!" Rekka exclaimed as she grabbed for Natalia to try and yank her back and away from Silver but Amber intercepted it. She had thrown up a barrier and deflected the creature's acceleration. The force of the impact had caused Silver to go flying backward and land in a heap. He was right smack in front of Jean about six feet away from her! He looked stunned.
"Time I finished this!" Jean exclaimed as she hurried over, twirled the blade overhead as she turned the end from backward to forward and used the momentum of her arms as she brought it down in a swing with the intent to try to stab into Silver this time around.
Aiden, despite himself, couldn't help but let out a gasp. Rekka was wondering if the thing would actually be killed. It grossed her out. Which keyblade would they be able to bring? They had all been distracted from trying to go and save Damien at that crucial moment.
