Many years ago in a distant world there was a war. The king of the planet, who ruled with an iron fist, lost in that war. After he was killed his magic sword was sealed away in a dark place. After that the world was at peace. Until now. The heir of that fallen king is leading an uprising across the world, leaving much of it a waste land. But though out the world there are many dark towers with many secrets within them.
One of those towers holds the key to finding the magic sword. The heir to the throne will stop at nothing to find it. He has imprisoned many people and killed many more. This has lead to many cities being abandon. One of these cities is Ziro city. Far down the path to Ziro city lies an old prison. Within that prison is one person who will meet many others from destroyed home world and find that magic sword.
Zero woke up inside a prison cell. There was one window with bars in it. He had no idea where he was or how he got there. One minute he lies down in a hotel resting from being a hero and the next he's here. He got up from the bed and looked out the window. He was very high up from the ground. Across the way he could see a stone path.
When he looked across the way he could barely see stone towers scattered across the land. He turned around and found writing on the walls. " Zrio city, Library, The Seal" was on the wall. He had no idea what to make of all this. One thing he did know was that he had to get out of this prison and find out just what world he was in.
One the floor below Zero another person was trying to make out what the writing on the wall meant. It was Kai Shien a friend of Zero. He had woken up not too long ago and also had no idea where he was. He had one thought in his head, breaking out. He was not alone on that floor. Just across the hallway tow more friends of Zero were stuck in the same cell, Riley and Seamus.

David groaned as he regained consciousness in an unfamiliar room. The last thing he could remember was falling out of the Corridor of Darkness he was walking in, but his sore head explained the rest. He quickly scanned the immediate area as he stood, but nothing was within what appeared to be his prison cell but him. The door stood slightly ajar, with the hall beyond appearing abandoned.
Now quite curious, David opened the door further, wincing at the sudden squeak of rusted hinges, and moved down the hallway searching for someone else. A few cells down he found what appeared to be a teenage boy with long blue hair staring at something scratched onto the far wall. Hoping that this wasn't some sort of trap, David tapped on the bars of the door, his gauntlet ringing softly against the iron. "This is going to sound a bit odd, but what world is this?"

Zero kept looking at the wall. Just where was Ziro city? Where ever it was it must have a library and some key of some kind. That's what Zero got from the writing. Now what did the key open? Before Zero could think about that he heard a ringing from the bars of his cell. He turned to find a young man that was greatly taller than him. He had asked him what world they were in.
With him asking that it was obvious that he wasn't a guard, and most likely found himself here just like Zero. " To tell you the truth I don't know," Zero told him. " You see I'm not from this world myself. I was taking a nap in a different world and when I woke up I found myself in here."
It seemed that Zero wasn't the only one who ended up here. Just who else was here? One thing was for sure and that was that Zero planed on finding out how he got here and what this key was all about. " You wouldn't happen to have the keys to my cell would you? I need to find out just what is going on here."
Down on the floor below them the others were trying to get out of their cells. Kai thought the only way to get out was to break out. He started pushing on the cell door to see how heavy it was. The door opened when he pushed on it! He didn't ask why a cell in a prison wasn't locked he was just glad no guards were around. " Seamus! Riley! The cell was unlocked!" He told them.
Riley and Seamus pushed on their cell door to see if it was also unlocked. Their door opened as well. The three of them tried all the cells and each one was unlocked. No one else was on their floor and every cell had the same writing as the one in Zero's cell and a view of a stone path. Just what kind of prison did they all end up in?

David shook his head at the teen's question, then glanced down at the door itself. "I don't have any keys, but it looks like all the doors are unlocked for some reason." He pulled the door open to prove his point. "Wherever we are, they don't seem to care if we get out."
As he waited for his new acquaintance to join him, David sensed a few beings on the level below them. He assumed that they were in a similar situation to him. "It appears we're not alone here, either. There are a few others down below." There didn't seem to be any danger in the area, so David started looking for the way down. Hopefully one of the others would have some answers.

The man didn't have the keys to Zero's cell, but all the cells were unlocked. This only raised further questions. What prison has seemingly no guards and unlocked cells? This made Zero want to investigate even more. He just had to get to the bottom of this. He stepped out of the cell when the man told him there were others below them.
So Zero was right, there were others in the prison. He hoped they had some answers and didn't actually belong in a prison. There could have been other clues in the other cells, so Zero started looking in them. After a few tries he found they all had the same writing on the walls. That was when he realized he forgot his manners. " The name's Zero," he told him. " I've found that all these cells have all the same writing on the walls. It says Ziro city, the library, and the key. I plan on finding out more about all this. You don't have to help me find the city but since we were both brought here I guess you want to know more too. I'm going to follow the stone path outside this prison and see what I can find in the city it leads too. With any luck it will be Ziro city."
It was then Zero noticed a door in the wall. That must of been the way down. " Come on," he said. "Let's get out of here." He opened the door to find a stairway leading down. He slowly went down, preparing for who ever was below them.
One the floor below them the others were trying to figure out what to do. Do they go up or down the prison? They wanted to find out all that they could before trying to find Ziro city. It was then Zero made it down the stairs and Kai saw him. " Zero? You're here too?" He said.

David nodded in response to Zero's introduction. "My name's David, but I often go by Mizan when I'm on a job. I have no idea where we are, or what's going on, but I'm going to stick with you until we can get back." Honestly, David could just use a Corridor of Darkness to go back to Radiant Garden, but he was reluctant to leave Zero by himself in this strange world.
David followed Zero down the staircase, keeping a few steps behind him in case something happened. As Zero emerged onto the lower level, David heard another teenager's voice. Suddenly, he had a horrible feeling that everyone else was younger than him here. Well, they couldn't be worse than his sister...
Walking through the doorway himself, David saw three other teenagers besides Zero. Two were male, and one was female...
Actually, now that he could see their auras, it appeared that ALL of them were male. How the one ended up female, David had no idea. "These three friends of your's, Zero?"

" Ya we are all friends." Zero told the man. "In fact we were born on the same home world, and were all together before it was destroyed."
"Ya those were the days," Kai said. He saw the tall man with Zero. If Zero was with him he wasn't evil, or at least he didn't appear to be yet. " The name's Kai. This is Seamus and Riley," He pointed to them in order. " Zero any idea what world this is?"
Zero shook his head. Zero didn't like this one bit. On one hand he had found some old friends of his. On the other hand they were still in a world no one seemed to know about. But at least they all had the same mind set. Take the path and see where it leads. At least they wouldn't be in some prison plus there would be more light to see. It was then he remembered Riley was a keyblader. Even if the cells were locked he could have unlocked them. That could come in handy later if they ever got traped some where.
Seamus didn't want to believe this prison had no guards. It was crazy enough the cells were unlocked. There had to be someone else here. " I don't believe that we're the only ones here," he told them. " We should all be on our guards. The cells may be unlocked but there could still be traps in this place. It would explain why the cells are unlocked."
Riley didn't pay too much attention to the group. Instead he was looking out the window again. He could see a blur of a town down the path. That had to be Zrio city it just had to be. If there was a town there had to be people. And where there's people there's answers. " If we go to the city down the path we could get answers. Or the people there could have played a part in putting us in here." He said.

David was quite surprised that these four mirrored his situation so well. "You guys remind me of my sister, best friend, and me. We went through pretty much the same thing a few years back. My name's David, for those that don't know yet." David agreed that going down the path was the best idea. There certainly didn't seem to be any reason to stay put.
As Zero and Seamus discussed the possibility of traps, David noticed Riley staring out the window. David and Riley were the only two in the group to lack obvious weapons, although looks could be deceiving. David decided not to summon Shattered Sunset, his keyblade, until he was better informed. He walked over to get a better look himself, only to see the same thing. He nodded at Riley after he had spoken, then turned back to the group. "I agree with him. Even if they are hostile, we could still at least get some answers."

" So it's settled, " Kai said. As much as he hated the thought of walking into a town of people who could have put him in prison they had no choice. That was the only town they could see, barely see. Besides if they tried anything they all fought fierce battles before. He didn't know about David, but he seemed to be able to take care of himself. He may not have visible weapons on him but there was the possibility of him being a magic user. Or he could be able to summon weapons at will like the rest of them.
Zero noticed David with Riley. They both brought up the fact the townsfolk could have put them in here. Zero didn't want to rule that out but he didn't want to believe it either. Why would they put them all the way up here? None of them knew what this world was, so there was no way they committed some crime here. What would they gain from them?
" Even if they catch us, David will protect me," Riley said without looking at anyone. "Won't you?"
"Don't fall for it David!" Zero said. " Riley's not a girl. He was just cursed by thee black witch to become one."
Riley finally looked back at the group. " Thanks Zero way take the only fun part of this curse away from me." he said. " Now what am i suppose to do for fun?" Before Zero could say anything Riley was gone in a flash. He had ran down to the floor below them. If there was anything interesting he wanted to find it first.
" Damn it Riley can't you at least wait for me?" Seamus asked as he followed him. The floor was very different from the other two. There were skeletons scattered around the floor. Some different types of armor were on them. Clearly they weren't the only ones who were put in this prison. It still wasn't clear if that was a good or a bad thing. The skeletons had been there for quite some time. " Well i'd say this party is dead eh Riley?"
" Careful with that joke it kills." Riley laughed. He noticed something shine in one of the skeletons hands. "Whats this?"
" Hey guys we found something!" Seamus yelled from the lower floor.

David smirked at Riley's antics, then chuckled a bit at Zero's explanation. "I figured that out when I saw his aura. No girl has one THAT manly, not even Tifa back on Radiant Garden." Before he had even finished, Riley was gone. Still chuckling softly, David followed him down a floor.
Thankfully, the skeletons had been there long enough that the smell of decay had dissipated. Still, the sight alone was unsettling enough as it was. He rather hoped that they would stay dead, having fought undead before. As Riley called the rest over, David chuckled even more as an old memory popped into his head. "Great, Riley has A.D.O.S." Still, he walked over anyhow to look.

When they all got down to the skeleton floor Kai was shocked. He had never seen so many in one place before. One thing he did notice was that they all had armor on. Were they all warriors? " Guess we weren't the only ones here after all. Just what happened here?"
Zero didn't ask questions at first. Instead he examined the skeletons. He was checking them for anything remarkable or unusual about them. He found that all the armor they had were tattered, and it wasn't from time. Some of them were even cut in half as well as the weapons they had. " Well whatever happened here it ended bloody." he stated. " Someone or something was able to kill of these people. If you take a closer look all the marks appear to come from the same weapon."
" Well whatever it was it sure made a mess." Seamus said. He couldn't figure it out. This must have happened a long time ago, because there was nothing but skeletons around. But why? These people must have been the guards of this prison. There was no sign of a cell being broken, so what happened to all the prisoners here? Just who unlocked all the cells?
What ever was in the skeleton's hand must have been important, there was a strong grip on it. After a bit he finally got it out.It was a golden square. " it looks like someone wanted to keep this from getting into the wrong hands." Riley looked the thing over. it had the word "key" engraved on the back. " This is a key to something important. I can feel it. We may need this later. For now let's focus on getting out of here alive."
" And we'll have to work together." Zero said. " If Riley is right whatever did this will come back to look for the key. if it can kill this many people none of us can take it alone. We'll have to stay as a group. We'll have to also watch each others back. There are still some floors to go through before we can get out of here."

A single glance was all David needed to verify Zero's observations. Whatever did this was indeed quite powerful. But why had something so strong come here? As Riley pried the odd golden square from the skeleton's grip, David had a disturbing thought. What if the world itself had brought all of them here to stop whatever did this?
David nodded at Riley's words, but frowned slightly at Zero's. "I agree that we need to stick together, but I'm a bit more powerful than I look. I could probably take on about this number myself, if I went all out. I'd most likely take the building with me though." Still, he hadn't needed his Elemental Aspect for over a year. Why was something like this happening now?

" Pride is powers worst emeny," Zero warned. " I've seen whole planets die because of it." Their home world was the number one example. They all allowed their pride get the best of them. That was the main reason their home was no more, that and them being out matched by Ren. Since that day Zero vowed to not let his pride get in the way. The way he saw it a hero is no good if they are blinded by pride.
A dark shadow came from under one of the skeletons. It moved in a circle around the group until it stopped behind Riley. A tentacle rose up from it and took the key from him. Then is quickly went down the stairs. Kai noticed it leaving from the corner of his eye. " What the hell is that thing?!" he asked
"Who cares what it is? It took the key after it!" Riley yelled as he went after it.
They all quickly went down the stairs into the last floor. Blood covered the walls and floor. Pillars were lined up on opposite sides of the room. There was little light coming down from holes in the ceiling. Down the way there was a door that led outside. The only sound besides the groups foot steps was the dripping of blood.
" That thing must still be down here," Zero said. " We've got to get that key back. It may unlock something vital to figuring out why we're here."
" Whatever that thing was...it might be the reason for all the skeletons. If that's the case then it may take all of us to beat it."
Kai knew this place wasn't big enough for him to summon his dragon. He didn't want to bait the shadow into going outside. They may lose it and never be able to get that key back. The place was too dark to be able to tell where the shadow was. Kai created an orb of fire in his hand. Along with that he summon his sword glowing with fire.
Kai's fire lit up the place, revealing the shadow in the center of the room. The shadow started bubbling with the key on top of it. It started to take shape. First it formed into Kai, then it changed into Zero, next came David, Seamus and Riley. Then it changed into a armored soldier with spikes coming out of it. The key dissappeared into the heartless.
Seamus summoned his two fuma shurikens. He didn't know what this heartless could do, but he knew he would be safe from any darkness attacks. He stood by Riley, who had summoned his twin blades. Riley liked to save his keyblade for more powerful villains, which this heartless didn't seem to be yet.

David was stunned to hear such wisdom come from one so young. Unfortunately, there was no time to commend Zero's words, as a Heartless quickly snatched the key from Riley and fled down once more. David gave chase alongside Riley, only to jerk to a halt as the coppery tang of blood met his nose from the next room. He entered the room cautiously, ready to summon his Keyblade in an instant, only to find a sight more fitting in those horror games Jason liked so much.
Blood was literally everywhere, dripping and pooling from the walls and floor. David's Auric Sight showed the Heartless waiting in the middle of the room just before Kai his fire to reveal it to the rest of the party. Watching the dark being transform a few times before settling on a shape was a bit unsettling, almost as if it were recording the group somehow.
A quick slash brought out Shattered Sunset, it's pure colors untouched by the red liquid surrounding them as it gently glowed from its depths. David slid with practiced ease into the classic fighting stance, his blade seemingly dividing the world before him as he readied himself for an attack.

Zero was the last one two summon his weapon. It wasn't because he didn't want to attack the heartless but because he didn't know how they should attack it. If they weren't in this prison Kai could summon his dragon and easily destroy the thing. But if they were outside there was the chance it could run away, and they would never see it again. They would have to keep the heartless inside. Then he thought about the key, if they destroyed the heartless the key could be destroyed with it.
How were they going to deal with this problem. The heartless was clearly gonna attack them, and the fact it took the key from Riley made the key seem even more important. Could it be that it wss the key mentioned in the writing on the walls? Zero then remembered Riley's telekinesis. If they could get a hole in the heartless might be able to get the key out of it without getting to close to it. " We can't just kill this thing, we could lose the key!" He explained. " We need to somehow blast a hole in it. That way Riley can use his telekinesis to pull the key out. Once we get thekey out every attack we have is fair game. If all else fails then we'll have to leave it to our two keybladers."
It seemed their plan revolved around Riley's telekinesis. Riley hadn't used it in so long he almost forgot he had it. Getting to the heartless wasn't goimg to be a problem for Riley, it was the blasting a hole part. But with all of them working together it couldn't be that hard. But the heartless did show that it could change shape, that could be problematic.
The heartless' left arm turned into a blade, the right a shield. It leaped at Riley, being the shortest of them all it must have figured it would be easy to get rid of him. Seamus had intercepted it, blocking the blade with one of his shurikens. He was spinning the other in his other hand. " Now blast it!"he told them. Seamus teleported away causing the heartless to fall tp the ground.
Kai took advantage of this opportunity to get to the side of the heartless. He shot his fire orb at it. The heartless' shield blocked it just in time, but it was stilll vulnerable to an attack from the front. Seamus reappeared beside David.

David called out as the Heartless attacked. "I don't have any attacks that can do that! I might be able to immobilize it though!" Shattered Sunset glowed brighter as he slammed it into the ground, starting a deep rumbling. After a few seconds, a wave of diamond hard spikes erupted in a straight line towards the Heartless, each spike standing about three feet tall. The spikes would hopefully box the thing in and, if he was lucky, impale it's legs.
Still, David was never one to be caught off guard in a fight, so right after that attack he focused his Light into his keyblade with his Lightblade technique. The glowing blade shone even brighter as it gained the power to burn all things Darkness for a few minutes. Hopefully it would give him an edge over this thing.

Kai's fire orb had left cracks in the heartless's shield. As the spikes came towards the heartless it fired a large orb of darkness at Seamus at a high speed. It hit him dead on, covering him in a cloud of smoke. When the spikes impaled the heartless's legs it's body started bubbling. It's blade arm then turned into a cannon.
It fired more shots of darkness at Seamus. A few of them hit him before Zero fired a lightning energy slash to counter the others. The two attacks meeting caused a cloud of smoke to form. Zero saw this as his chance to take it by surprise. He fired a powerful orb of fire through the smoke. " Now Riley!" He yelled.
Riley started running along the side of the action. He slid to a stop when he was directly across from the heartless. Zero's fire orb came out of the smoke and hit the heartless dead in it's chest. It created a hole, revealing the key to be where it's heart would be. Riley's hands started to glow blue and so did the key. He used his telekinesis to rip the key out of the heartless' chest and to him.
The smoke around Seamus finally faded. He was unaffected by the attacks. " Is that the best you got?" He asked sarcastically. He threw one of his shurikens at the heartless, landing in it's shoulder. Now things were getting interesting. With the key out they didn't have to hold back. Seamus started spinning his other shuriken in his hand. " Let's get rid of this beast!"

David smirked as the crystals succeeded in stopping the Heartless in it's tracks. Well, right up to the point that a cannon appeared on it. He could still sense Seamus' heart through the smoke, so there was nothing to worry about there. As Zero fired at the Heartless and Riley got the key, David had to admit that their teamwork was excellent.
Seamus' works caused David's smirk to grow as he jumped onto his own crystal spikes, hopping from one to another quickly. He pushed off the final spike much harder, and shot toward the Heartless with Shattered Sunset right above the tops of the spikes, aiming to cut the thing in half.

Zero's attack had greayly damaged the heartless. As David started to come towards the heartless It fire another blast of darkness. But this was a different kind of attack. It wasn't an orb of darkness but an orb of some sort of goo. It went over David an splattered on the ground. It started to bubble.
As David cut the heartless in half it's body broke apart. In a vapor of darkness it disappeared, releasing the captive heart it had. Seamus' shuriken reappeared in his hand. Just what did the heartless fire before it was destroyed? The goo took the form of a shadow and slipped pasted everyone. It went under the door and went out in the open.
This wasn't good. Whatever it was must had been apart of the heartless. Just where was it going? Then Zero got the idea of the town it all saw. " Great work everyone," He said. " But whatever that was is now outside. I have a feeling it's heading for that town we saw not too long ago."
" If we hurry we might be able to catch it." Kai said.
" But what if it wants us to follow it?" Riley asked. " Whoever is in that town could be working with it."
" If that turns out to be true then we will at least get some answers." Zero said.
" Besides what are they goona do?" Seamus asked. " Put us in cells and actually lock them this time? We have two keybladers here no amount of locks is gonna stop us."

David dismissed Shattered Sunset as the crystal spikes crumbled into dust behind him. Whatever that goo was, chances were good that it wasn't friendly. He really didn't like the idea of it getting to the town either. Still, it would be good to be outside again, even if it meant more fighting.
David was once more impressed by the coordination and maturity this group had. Clearly they had been through quite a bit, despite being so young. "Well, you seem to work quite well together, so I'll follow your lead here. Wait, two keybladers? Which one of you has one then?"
