As David's lightblade slashed through the eyes, they eached disappeared vanishing. After he told them all to split up they all scattered. It would have been a similar strategy they used at the prison, only this time all of them were doing it, not just Zero and Riley. Riley ran towards the left, Zero to the right, Kai went straight towards it, and Seamus teleported above it. Seamus was using his surikens to keep him on the roof of the room, waiting for the right time to attack.
It was Riley who made the next attack after David. He sent astrong ball of ice at the left forearm of the dragon. Whent it hit the entire arm was covered in ice, freezing it. This would keep the dragon in place, but not for very long. He then saw Seamus up above the dragon, looking for a very good opening. If he could see the frozen arm he would take this chance to hit it dead in its wings.
Kai was up to bat next. He didn't summon his dragon, it was too soon and too risky for that. The others could have been caught in the crossfire, especially Seamus if he came down at the wrong time. Instaed he stopped when Riley froze the arm of the dragon. The dragon tried to move but it was stuck in place. It saw Kai and launched fire from its mouth at him. Tha was a big mistake. Kai pushed his hands forward as the fire consumed him. After it faded it was revealed that he was unharmed. Instead he had absorbed the fire! The fire charnge his body till he sent it to his right hand. He pushed it forward and out came five fire orbs. They hit that dragon dead in its face, and had a very powerful impact.
Seamus took Kai's attack as a chance to get off a safe attack. He threw one of his shurikens down. It arched left and went to the dragon. It made a deep cut on both the dragon's wings before it landed where David was heading. Zer also took this chance to slash at the dragon's other forearm, making a bloody cut on it.
The dragon roared out in pain. The ambush of attacks were damaging it greatly. The eyes on its body glowed. All the eyes that were left shot out lazer beams in all directions. There were at least twenty heading to each of them.

David grinned as he saw the effect everyone had on the dragon. It seemed that this would be over quick, far quicker than the other fights. That grin faded as countless lasers shot out everywhere. He quickly pulled up his keyblade to protect his head just as the lasers hit. The impact slammed him into a nearby pillar, but thankfully his armor blocked most of the attack. All he'd be left with would be a few choice bruises later.
Eyes blazing, he triggered his Twilight Augmentation ability and dashed forward once more. This time he jumped over the beast, clearing it's back by only a foot as he flew toward it's head. The Shattered Sunset was a whirlwind in his hands as he struck out at another twenty eyes on the Heartless' back. Finally, he landed just in front of the beast's mouth and rolled behind his crystal spikes, as his keyblade's Light dimmed again.

The lazer beams knocked the others back, and Seamus off the roof. He fell towards the dragon just as David was slashing more eyes. Seamus's shurikens reappeared in his hands, he did a black flip before landing right on the dragon's head. He stabbed his shurikens deep into the dragon's head as he landed, using gravity to increase the impact.
The dragon started shaking its head around wildly. Seamus held onto his shurikens as long as he could. Soon he was thrown off and started flying. He fell behind the crystals where David was. He landed flat on his back. He looked up at David. " The bus was exact change only," he told him.
As Seamus was thrown off Zero saw an opening. He was far from the dragon, but he could still hit it with a range attack. He pointed at the dragon, looking for the perfect spot. After it threw off Seamus Zero saw a clear shot of one of the dragon's eyes. He shot a beam of lightning dead into the eye, causing the dragon to roar out in pain.
Riley was sent into a pillar by the lazer beams. He made a large crater in it before falling to the ground. He slowly got back up, looking at the dragon. It was almost beaten, but they needed a really strong attack to take it down. He was took weak to finish the job, he was out of breath. He looked at Kai, who seemed to be getting ready to do something.
Kai was planning on finishing off the dragon. He covered his body in a aura of blue fire. He took a few steps back, then started running towards the dragon. The dragon saw him with its good eye. Its body started sparking with electricity. Kai jumped up as the dragon smashed its head into him. Their attacks clashed, causing a aura of blue fire and electricity to cover them both. Soon the aura exploded making a cloud of smoke. The smoke soon faded, showing Kai was the onky one standing. He was badly injured, the dragons attack was great and he took a good amount of recoil damage. The key fell out of the sky, landing by Riley.

David pumped his fist in the air as his crystals dissolved into dust. "And THAT's how you do it! Great job everyone!" He winced a bit as the pain chased his adrenalin infused battle high away. A quick glance at the group's collective aura showed him that he was actually one of the lucky ones. At least he had armor to protect him.
Riley and Kai were in the worst shape, followed by Seamus and David, although David wasn't going to tell anyone about his pain. "Someone needs to help Kai and Riley out! They look about ready to drop!"

Kai weakly made his way over to Riley. He used the last bit of his strength to hold his sword up and cast Curaga on them. They were healed a great amount. Kai was no longer barely standing and Riley was able to get up. " Well that went better than our last fight," Kai said. " But that dragon did damage us the most. I wasn't sure I was gonna make it out of that clash."
Riley got up and took the second key off the ground. " That makes two keys so far," he told them. " I hope the rest of the guardians go down that easy, well without us getting hurt that much." That pillar really did a number one him. Who puts a pillar in the middle of a room anyway?
Zero went to David. " If I remember correctly we should get to the castle next, right?" He wanted to get out of these ruins as fast as they could. He didn't want anything else to spawn in while they were recovering from the dragon. " By the way, your lightblade is really coming in handy. So far all of the guardians seem to be dark creatures. With you and that ability we should be able to key all the keys little to no problem."
Seamus caught his breath before getting up. While the others were talking he remembered something. The stone in fr8nt of the other path was moved. " There's one thing I don't get. If someone else is here where are they? Surely if they are looking for the key they should have known this was where to get it. Even if they couldn't open the door they could have waited around for someone else to, unless the other paths also lead to this room."

David smiled at Zero's praise as the rest of the group recovered a bit. "Thanks Zero, but I would've had a lot more trouble if you guys weren't here. You do have a point though about everything being dark. Jennifer would have a lot easier time with this than I am, since she uses Light exclusively."
He glanced over at Seamus as the younger man mentioned his concerns. David sighed and nodded. "I didn't want to mention this yet, but it's very likely that the prince and Ren are using us to get the keys and unlock the sword. It's a fairly standard tactic for villains to use the hero to do the dirty work and sweep in at the last minute. That's part of the reason I haven't used my Aspect yet. I want to have some surprises left if I'm right."

There was a slow clap. At the doorway stood none other than Ren O'Malley. He was laughing. " Looks like you figured it out gang. Why don't we celebrate with snacks?" He ate a cupcake right in front of them. He then tossed a bag of marshmallows to Riley. He then tossed juice boxes to everyone. " Remember sharing is caring," he smiled.
Everyone was shocked to see Ren. They were not shocked when he pasted out snacks after asking why not celebrate with them. That was the kind of guy Ren was. Riley took a step towards him. " Ren what are you doing here? And why are you passing out supplies to us?"
Ren sighed. " Why Riley, who do you think circled these ruins on the map? The easter bunny? I guess you've got me." He started laughing again. " You have single handly saw through my ruse and now I must tell the thruth. To be honest I've lost interest in this world. Too much stone not enough fun. But the prince however hasn't. He still wants to find that blade. I was thinking of stopping him but since you guys already have a head start I'll leave it too you. Oh and here's another thing." He tossed David a map. " You'll need that to get pass all the traps in the3 castle and find the next key. Good luck everyone!" With that a portal opened and he left the world.

David instantly tensed at Ren's sudden appearance, his keyblade reappearing in his right hand. A moment later he dismissed it again, having seen Ren's aura he could tell they weren't in danger right then. Still, the expression on David's face must have been priceless, considering how confused he was right then. What kind of villain popped up out of nowhere and gave the heroes snacks?
Apparently Ren O'Malley, that's who.
A few moments after Ren disappeared again, David stared at the juice box in his right hand, and the map in his left. He then turned and looked at Riley. "Well, at least we don't have to worry about him now. Does he do this kind of thing often?"

Riley shook his head as Ren left. He sighed, leave it to Ren to do something like that. " Ya he does," he told David. " My brother does things that will only make sense to him. I guess that's what happens when you go insane. Leave it to Ren, he's probably the only villain who would do this kind of thing."
Zero just could not figure Ren out. Why was he helping them? Just what made him lose interest in this world? Whatever it was it was a good thing that it happened. They now have a way around the traps in the castle and how to find the key there. " Well whatever the reason we can now enter the castle with no problem. With that map all we have to worry about is what ever is guarding the key. And with Ren out of the way that only leaves the prince to deal with."

David shrugged and finished his juice box as he leaned against a pillar. "He almost sounds more like some sort of embodiment of chaos then a true villain." He sighed and glanced around again. Things could have been quite a bit worse. At least they didn't have to fight Riley's brother, so that was one worry off of David's chest.
He stood and took his first good look at the map Ren had given to him. "That's quite a few traps..." He turned and tossed it over to Zero. "Here, I've never been all that good at reading these things. My world had GPS."

Zero looked at the map when David tossed it to him. From the look of it the map was very old. It had a layout of the castle and the outside. It didn't have a legend but some things were easy enough to figure out. Maps were a big part of his home world. " From what I can tell there are not only traps in the castle but on the outside as well, " he told them. " There's also a secret entrance into the castle that's trap free, but it's behind the castle. We'll also have to watch our step, there are traps in the ground outside and in the floor of the castle."
As Kai listened to what Zero said he thought about something. There seemed to only be one of everything. " You know it may be too early in this quest, but I'm starting to see a pattern here. There's one map to the sword, one map of all the key locations, one lost city, and one way to break the seal. If you ask me unless the prince has his own copy we have a pretty good advantage over him."

David nodded at Kai, then crossed his arms. "That's true, but like I said earlier it's very likely that the prince is already waiting at the gate for us to open it. The only way to keep him away would be to take the keys we have and leave this world." He turned and faced the rest of the group again. "I'm not going to do that though. If we leave, then the prince can keep attacking and subjugating the people here. There's not much that I can't stand, but abuse of power is right up there at the top."
David walked over to the entrance again, then looked back over his shoulder. His eyes glowed fiercely in the dim light. "I'm not stopping until this sword is gone and the prince is out of power. How about y'all?" He was so worked up that his old accent reappeared, and he didn't care either.

Zero nodded at Davids words. " A true hero protects the innocent from those who do wrong. A true hero also never turns their back on people in need," he said. " That's why I'm not leaving this world either until we destroy that sword, and take care of that prince. I doubt the others feel any different?" The others nodded to Zero. " We're all in this till the very end!"
They walked to where David was. As the others went on Riley stopped where David was. " It's up to us keybladers to restore balance to this world," he said. " My master taught me that those who are corrupt must be stopped before they can corrupt others. This so called prince doesn't deserve the sword nor the throne. I once met a prince that had become corrupt. He was loved by everyone because he helped his subjects until he was corrupt. When I saved that wolrd his dying words were 'in the end it's better this way. Now I can no longer hurt those I once helped. My only regret is allowing myself to become corrupt.' Those were the words of someone who did deserve the throne. Let's take this world's prince out."

David grinned as the others joined him at the entrance. "This is starting to remind me of an action movie or something." As the group emerged from underground, he took a deep breath of fresh air again. He hated being stuck indoors for too long. That's why he gave his sister his Gummi Ship and started using Corridors to travel.
As the group started toward the castle, David sighed again. "I wish I was better at using the Corridors of Darkness in world. We could already be there if it wasn't for that." He smirked as he remembered the last time he tried to use them on the same world. That hadn't ended too well.

" Well if we could use corridors we would," Seamus told him. " None of us know how to use them." To tell the truth none of them had even tried to use them, not even Seamus, the only one out of the four who used darkness. Barely anyone from their world could use them, it was a very rare thing. People from their world usually just warp from world to world using their own powers, or something magical. " But don't worry, the castle may be far from here but we'll get there in no time."
After some time they made it to the castle. When they got there the sky was clear, but still dark. The full moon shined over the land. There was not a single cloud in the sky for miles. The castle itself was a different story. It was three stories high, and built out of black stones. The windows were dark, preventing them from seeing the inside. The entrance to the castle were two large wooden doors. The area around the castle was grassy, and very flat. There were a few trees, and the animal sounds from before were back. The castle had a very dark feel to it, like something evil was waiting for them. It was clear that no one had been to this castle for years, the wooden draw bridge was closed. Before they could figure out how to get it down the draw bridge slowly came down with a creak. " Remember we can't go in from the front," Zero told them. " We have to find the secret entrance in the back."

David rubbed the back of his head sheepishly. "Yeah... I can use them, but I'm still getting used to them. Last time I made a short range one, the exit ended up ten feet above the ground. Jason's a lot better at it, thanks to him having Darkness as his only Elemental Affinity."
Soon enough they made it to the castle. It was just as deserted as the rest of the areas they had been, made even more eerie by the size. "It's not as big as the castle back home, but that's still pretty impressive!" Then the drawbridge dropped, seemingly by itself, and David looked at it oddly. "Okay... THAT was freaky... Anyhow, Zero has the map, so if we follow him in a line we should be fine."

Zero nodded to them. " Alright stay close," he told them. He read the map one more time before going on. Across the draw bridge they went as their footsteps echoed in the night. When they made it into the courtyard they did not go through the front door. Instead Zero led them around the back, making sure he didn't lead them into any traps that were set.
Behind the castle there was a field. There were trees all around full of fruit. Rose bushes were scattered all around. There was a lake in the middle of the field, the moon's reflection was in it. There was also a stone statue of some war hero in front of the lake. " According to the map.... the way into the secret entrance is by the statue." Zero told them.
When they got to the statue there seemed to not be anything strange about it. There was no signs of a hidden door anywhere near it. It didn't look like the statue could be moved. It seemed they were stuck until something happened. While waiting to see if Zero could find anything on the map Riley put his hand against the statue. Then there was a strange nose. The water in the lake was being drained! When the lake was all dried up there was a door at the bottom at the other side.

David jumped a little as the water started draining. He had been on edge since they had started around, and the sudden noise startled him. He recovered quickly, then clapped Riley on the shoulder lightly. "Great job Riley! We'd have been stuck here for a while if you hadn't done that."
David glanced around to make certain nothing else was happening, then started moving toward the door. "Why is the secret door always underwater? How are they going to use it to get out if the lake is right there? Do they just not think of these things when they build secret passages?"

Riley scratched the back of his head. " Um....thanks..?" He wasn't trying to find the entrance at all, je was just trying to rest. But it was good he found it, no one else seemed to think of touching the statue. " Maybe they can breath underwater or something." The way down was steep, so they slid down to the bottom of the lake. Oddly enough, there were no fish at the bottom of the lake. There was no trace of were the water went besides a few small holes in the ground.
After a while they made it to the door. It was made of metal and was locked. Riley took out his keyblade and unlocked it. The door opened and they went inside. It was a long dark hallway that was lit by very fee torches. It seemed like no one had used this way in years, the place looked untouched. Soon they made it to stone stairs and went up. They found themselves in a large room. There was a window that had a great view of the moon and the drained lake. There was a big fancy bed in the room, and a purple carpet. On the wall there was a painting of the castle itself, with what seemed to be a headless horseman in front of it. Outside there was the sound of a horse going by. Out tne window there was the same headless horseman in the courtyard. He seemed to be looking for something.

David shook his head as Riley unlocked the door. "Good thing we've got these keyblades. Otherwise we'd have to bust most of these doors down." His eyes adjusted very quickly to the lower light level inside as the group traveled through the halls, though there wasn't much to see.
David glanced quickly around the room before noticing the picture. He was just about to walk over to it when what appeared to be a headless horseman came into view through the window. David groaned at the sight of what could only be the next guardian. "100 munny says that thing's our next fight."
