They all nodded to David's words. " Well then," Riley said. " Let's go save a world!" After giving Elizabeth a smile they all started walking back to the tree David marked. The tower of chaos was far in the distance, but they knew that's where they were going next. As they got closer to it the tower seemed to have a weird aura around it. It was two layers, the first layer being made of light and the second out of darkness. Even though it was the evening the area around the tower seemed dark.
The tower itself seemed to reach the sky. It sat alone in a wide field that was enclosed in a circle of trees. The field was full of life with different plants and flowers, giving a different feeling than the tower did. As they came closer to the tower they coukd see a hooded figure at the entrance. Some kind of weapon formed in the figure's hand. It was a kayblade and half of it was white and the other half black. The figure pointed the keyblade at the aura around the tower. A beam shot out into the aura, it made an ooening just big enough for them to go into the tower. As soon as they went in the aura closed back up behind them.
At the very sight of the figure Elizabeth's eyes started glowing. When the keyblade formed she started growling at them. She seemed to know that keyblade for some reason. Her ears were up, like she was as alert as a predator ready to run after its prey. As the figure went inside the tower she didn't clam down, she knew they were about to go in there.

David first noticed the odd aura the instant he saw the tower, but initially dismissed it as a trick of the light. After all, how would a building have it's own aura? As they entered the field surrounding it though, he had no choice but to acknowledge the aura for what it was. The hooded figure made David's heart race a bit though, if for no other reason than Elizabeth's reaction to it.
As the group approached the base of the massive structure, the alternating bands of Light and Darkness seemed to block the sky in David's sight. "Well, now we know why this is called the Tower of Chaos." He paused for a moment as an idea hit him. Experimentally he siphoned off a little of the two elements surrounding the tower. Having no problems with that, he proceeded to refill his internal stock completely, with no apparent affect to the massive aura beyond a momentary extension to around his body. "Great! Now I can use my Aspect again, if we need it. I wouldn't recommend it inside this tower though."
Pleased with himself, he manipulated the aura once more to create another doorway into the tower. "Let's get in there. That was probably the prince's keyblade wielder."

David seemed to be able to recharge his aspect fully using the aura around the tower. Although it seemed like a bad idea to use it inside, it was still a good thing to have on standby. It was kinda like Kai's dragon in a way, bad to use indoors but a great backup plan. Riley didn't like how Elizabeth reacted to the figure. She seemed to know something they didn't. Even when the figure went inside she didn't clam down. He then thought about what she told them. Could he be one of people who abused her? When David suggested that it could have been the prince's keyblader it seemed very likely. Just the thought of his daughter being hurt by them made his blood boil.
After David opened up the path for them they went inside. When they got into the first floor something didn't seem quite right. They were in a field of some sort. There was a blue sky and everything. Trees were taller than usual and the grass was as green as it could be. Ahead of them was a set of stairs that went up to a door. " Why do I get the feeling this tower is gonna mess with us?" Riley asked. Elizabeth seemed to like the place. She got down from Riley's arms and walked on all fours beside him.

David groaned at the sight of the field inside the tower. "Great, pocket dimensions. At least there's plenty of room if something happens." As they advanced into the "room", Elizabeth appeared to calm down a bit. David did a double take when she started walking on all fours though. "Not gonna lie, that's the cutest and creepiest thing I've seen at the same time."
He looked as far as he could in all directions, but couldn't see anything in particular. He growled a bit in frustration. "The tower's aura is so powerful that I can't see any other auras, or sense any other powers. This tower seems to be related to Chaos, not Twilight. Riley, can you sense anything?"

As Elizabeth walked by his side on all fours Riley couldn't help but shake his head. He was just happy she calmed down. It seemed like this tower was going to be very different from all the other places they've been so far. There was no doubt in his mind this place was going to mess with them. What he was really worried about was the keyblader. Their keyblade was black and white, and they were able to open uo the aura around the tower. Was it possible that they were a chaos user too? Given what they had faced in this world so far, it wouldn't be the strangest thing thay happened. No that was the golem hands down, or maybe Elizabeth herself.
David then told them the aura around the tower was messing with his aura senses. He then asked if Riley could sense anything since this was a chaos tower. " To tell you the truth, I never tried anything like that before," he told him. " But I can try." He closed his eyes and tried to sense. The tower's aura was so strong it was hard to tell if there were any other auras in the place. After some time he sensed a powerful chaos aura that was on the move above them. It wasn't a beings aura, but a weapon's aura. He ooened his eyes. " I can sense the keyblader's keyblade. They are on the move above us." He pointed to the stairs that led to the door. " We want to do that way if we want to go up."

David glanced around again as Riley focused for a moment. There was something nagging him in the back of his mind, but he couldn't quite place it. This place seemed... wrong somehow. Never mind the physical impossibility of a field being inside a tower, something was profoundly off about this entire area.
Riley opened his eyes again a few seconds later and mentioned the keyblade above them. David nodded and clapped Riley on the shoulder briefly. "Great job Riley. Normally I can sense people's hearts if they are powerful, but it really depends on the balance between Light and Darkness. The closer to perfect balance, the less I can sense them." He started moving toward the stairs, gesturing for the others to follow. "We'd better hurry. If they're ahead of us we need to catch up before they can get the key. If we can take them out it's even better, since the prince won't have a keyblade wielder anymore."

As David told him he could normally sense hearts Riley thought about something. Davidn had a harder time sensing hearts with perfect hearts right? He couldn't sense the keyblader's heart. Was it possible that they had a perfectly balanced heart? Their keyblade was half white and half black, which usually stands for balance. He couldn't sense their heart, only their keyblade for some reason. Then again it was his first time trying it. It could have also been the aura of tbe tower that was messing with them.
" You're right," he told David. " If we take care of him that's one less person we have to worry about." They all followed David to the door. The door itself was tall. It was half white half black. When the door opened they were in for a big surprise, an even bigger one than the last room they were in. They were now high up in the clouds, in fact they were standing on a cloud. There were other clouds in front of them. There were spaces in between them. " I heard of having your head in the clouds but this is ridiculous!" Riley said.
At the very last cloud there was the next door. The figure was at the door. It turned around and saw the others. It then opened the door and went out. Elizabeth started growling again. This time she took action. She jumped to the next cloud. She landed on it perfectly fine and kept jumping from cloud to cloud. " Elizabeth!" Rikey yelled out. He jumped after her and the others followed after both of them.

David looked around in astonishment at the new area. He certainly had never seen anything like this! Of course, he hadn't been looking long when Elizabeth suddenly started bounding from one cloud to the next. It appeared that she was desperately trying to get to whoever was ahead of them.
David did his best not to look down as he somewhat awkwardly followed the rest of the group, muttering to himself as he went. "Of all the areas that could have appeared, why this? I'd have been fine with something underwater, or maybe something with snow, but no, it had to be heights!"

As they all hopped from cloud to cloud Elizabeth kept getting further and further away from them. She was swift, like an animal that was giving chase to its prey. Soon she got to the door, opened it and went it. When the others got through the door they would have most likely slipped. The next room was a giant ice ring. There was some snow, but it was mostly ice. Nothing but ice for what seemed to be miles.
The figure was having trouble as well. They were sliding all over the place. At the very end of the room was the next door. The figure tried to get over there, but they keot falling. The only one not having trouble was Elizabeth. She was using her long claws to slowly move across the ice. She was also using her tail to keep her balance. She was gaining on the figure, only a few feet away from them. Riley tried to get to where they were, bjt ended up slipping again. In fact all of them were slipping.

If David had time, he would have slapped his own forehead when he finally got to the next door. It certainly seemed like he got his wish about snow and cold! Thankfully, he knew exactly how to deal with this kind of terrain. A quick flick of his wrist summoned his keyblade as he slid across after Elizabeth, his armored boots acting like small skis. By repeatedly stabbing the point into the ice, not only was he able to move even faster, but he was able to turn by pivoting around the blade.
He quickly overtook Elizabeth, and even managed to pass the mysterious keyblade wielder as well. A few feet from the door he dug his blade in deeper and skidded to a stop just before it, facing the others. Kicking off of the frame, he rocketed straight toward Elizabeth, intending to grab her, toss her to Riley, pivot again, and launch through the door again. Along the way he launched a Crystal Genesis right into the path of the keyblade wielder, intending to slow him down.

Riley watched as David used his keyblade to navigate across the ice. He figured he could do it to. Summoning his keyblade he stabbed it into the ground. He was finally able stop. When Elizabeth was tossed to him he caught her in his arms. With her in his arms he got his keyblade out the ground. He started to use it to navigate across the ice after the keyblader.
As the crystal genesis formed the keyblader stopped in their tracks. Soon Riley and the other caught up to them. " thought you would give us the slip eh?" Riley asked. The keyblader turned around at them. Elizabeth got down on all fours and started growling again. They slowly took off their hood. The keyblader turned out to be a woman in her early twenties. She had long silver hair and red eyes.
" Guess there's no avoiding it," she said. She then looked at Elizabeth. " Well well look who finally broke out of her cage. Guess thise magical chains were a waste of money after all."
Elizabeth's eyes started glowing, she looked like she was ready to pounce on the keyblader. Riley got in between them. " Who are you and how do tou know my daughter?! Where you one of the ones torturing her?!" His voice seemed different, like Elizabeth's emotions were passed on to him.

David pushed himself off the frame of the door yet again and slid over to the crystal spikes just as the figure pulled down her hood. He was surprised to find that she was about his age, but the only sight he gave of it was a quick blink. He was far more worried about what Riley might do if he continued to get angry. He vaguely recalled Zero talking about "mood swings" of some sort and being terrified of them.
Unfortunately, beyond knowing Riley out, David had no way of calming him down. He never was the best speaker, especially when it came to other people's emotions. Their best hope was to finish this quickly, before Riley did something he would later regret. Hopefully Zero or one or the others would be able to talk some sense into Riley.

The keyblader laughed at Riley's words. " Daughter? You must be Riley then," she said. " I feel sorry for you, having to call that beast your daughter. I heard the litle stunt you all pulled at the castle. How you got pasted all the traps I'll never know. Oh when the prince finds you all it will be quite a show. If I'm right you all already have a few keys. I'd have to say I'm quite impressed. Impressed that someone as unexperienced with the keyblade as you are was able to get even one of them. I assume it was all luck?"
Riley did not like what she said, not one bit. " Now you listen here!" He yelled. " I don't care what your so called prince thinks. He'll be dead soon enough! Right after he loses his keyblader!" The mark above his chest started glowing red. Something was changing about him. His mood swings werw about to happen.
The others saw his mark and did not like the color it was glowing. They knew what red meant, he would turn into her. They all took a step back. " Riley you have to clam down," Seamus said. " You don't want to hold onto anger while your mark is glowing red!" Riley turned to them all. His eyes wereslowly turning into adifferent color. " I want you all to get out of here!" He told them, trying to keep his cool. " Go now before I change! Take Elizabeth with you, I don't want to risk her getting hurt because of me!"

David had no idea what was about to happen, but clearly it wasn't good. Suddenly he was able to see Riley's aura again, and it was then he knew everything was about to go to hell. Nothing good had ever come from an aura distorting like THAT, pure malice radiated almost like actual heat from it.
David was suddenly reminded of his own childhood, back before he learned to control the Light and Darkness within him. He knew that this was different, but the end result was going to be the same. "Riley, I've got two words for you. Don't die." He grabbed Elizabeth and slid over to the others. "Sorry about the drop guys, but I don't have much time here!" With a snap of his fingers, a Corridor of Darkness appeared below them linked back to the field outside the tower. He tossed Elizabeth to Zero with a small sad smile, then jumped away from the portal as the others fell.
Once the others were safe, he sighed and readied his keyblade as he stood to the side of the female wielder. "Sorry Riley, but someone's got to get the key. I can't die right now anyhow, remember?"

Zero tried to protest before they fell into the portal with Elizabeth. " Wait you can't just-" That was all that could be heard before they were gone. The woman raised an eyebrow at Riley. " You kill me?" She laughed. " You must be joking, but I'll humor you." Her keyblade appeared in her hand. " Seeing how you know so little about keyblades I bet you don't know how to do this!" Her keyblade started glowing. After it stopped glowing a diferent weapon was in her hand. It was a long sword that required her to use both hands.
Riley looked at David. " Just keep going up the tower while I keep her busy!" He told him. " I'll join you after I beat her." His mark was now glowing brighter. He was now holding his head and screaming in pain. His aura was exploding with a powerful evil energy. His eyes turned a hellish red and his hair turned purple. He was no longer holding his head, he now looked at the woman. He had a smile on his face. It was no ordinary smile. It was one Ren would have, half evil and half insane. His aura was now completely different, it was like the aura of a raging beast. " Make that.... after I kill her!" His voice had changed. His voice was now condensing and mean spirited. His keyblade formed in his hand. His eyes had the look of someone ready to kill, of a heartless monster. " I may not be able to do that. But I know that once you're dead your blood will taste so good!"

David was horrified at the changes to Riley's personality and aura. It reminded him far too much of his anti-form from years ago. Still, there was no way for him to help, so David honored the last wishes of Riley's original personality and ran through the door to the next level. Without even glancing around, he opened another Corridor that blocked the door he had just come through, and walked through. On the other side was the rest of the group, still stunned from the fall.
Unlike before, David left the Corridor open, and walked over to Zero. "Sorry about that guys. I have no idea what's happening to him, but it seems similar to something that plagued me for a few years. This opens up to the next level, and keeps anything else from getting through the other side. We need to get the key quickly so we can go save Riley." With that, he walked back through the Corridor.

While the others were still recovering from their fall, David came to them through another corridor. He said that what was happening with Riley was similar to what happened to him a few years ago. The corridor led to the floor that came after the one they came from, and blocked others from going into it. It seemed they had to get the next key fast if they wanted to help Riley. They all followed David through it.
When they all got through the corridor they came to the next floor. The entire room was a house of mirrors. In the mirrors were regular reflections of them. From the door behind them they could hear an intense battle between Riley and the keyblader. It wasn't clear who was winning. Elizabeth looked in their direction, she looked worried about Riley. She was sitting like a dog that was waiting at the door for their master would. It looked as if nothing was going to get her to move.
Zero sighed. " Whenever Riley's mark glows he has a mood swing," he explained. " Each color is a different mood. When it glows red he turns into this psychopath that wants to kill everything in her path, and has a craving for blood." He shook his head, it was something that was out of their hands. " we should get going, it looks like Elizabeth won't move. The sooner we get that key the sooner we can help Riley, hopefully his moodswing will be over with by then. They often don't last very long."

David nodded at Zero's explanation as he surveyed the area. "That sounds similar to what I called my Darkside, the form I took when my Darkness went out of control. Once I managed to achieve my Aspect it never troubled me again, but I still have nightmares about it sometimes." He glanced over at Elizabeth, resolute in waiting for Riley. "Nothing can pass through the back of a Corridor, so she'll be safe here for a bit. Unless they can summon another Corridor into this area at least."
David turned and looked into the mirrors, countless reflections staring out at him. "Let's get through this quickly." He pushed energy into his keyblade, but this time was different. Instead of becoming a beacon of Light, the blade darkened and seemed to absorb any light that touched it. "This is my Darkblade ability. I should think it is rather self explanatory. This should cut down on the glare within the maze." With that, he dashed in, hoping to quickly find his way through.

David had explained that it was similar to his darkside, but since he got his aspect he had it under control. After that they followed him as he used his darkblade ability. As they ran through the halls their reflections started changing. It went from them being different sizes to them being girls. There was even one where they were all fat and one where they were very short. Then the mirriors started showing them past events they've been through in this world. It went from them being in the prison all the way to them fighting the golem. The path was very straight forward, the door to the next floor was soon in sight. It seemed that they were free from all these crazy mirrors.
Before they got to the door Seamus stopped. The mirror in front of him was different from all the others. It was of him, in his dark form. For some reason he could feel his own dark aura in the mirror. He slowly placed his hand on it, he was remembering they day he gained his darkness. He was remembering his guilt. Soon the image of him came out the mirror, pushing Seamus out the way. It soon formed into a shadow and went under the door into the next floor.
Seamus quickly got up. " After it!" He yelled. " It must be the guardian of the key!" As he went through the door they were in for a big surprise. They were on a rock platform, in the middle of a river of lava. There were many rock platforms that wetn across the river. The shadow could be seen moving from platform, heading towards the next door. Lava was shooting out from the river, making navigating across the river very dangerous.

David consciously released his Darkblade ability once it was clear it had no affect on the mirrors. He simply ignored the images, although he was VERY glad his sister wasn't here to see the one that showed him as a girl. He'd never hear the end of it if she found out. He chased after the guardian once it revealed itself, only to come to a stop after emerging into the next room.
He rolled his eyes as the shadowy being jumped across the platforms ahead of them. "Like a little lava is going to stop us!" He proceeded to jump after the thing, timing his movements against the flow of the molten rock. He wasn't as careful as he could be, as a small amount still ended up hitting his armor, but he just brushed it off and kept moving. "Gotta love Imbued armor! I can feel the heat, but nothing gets past this metal!" Soon he would be across, but he wasn't able to move quickly enough to catch the guardian. He was able to close the gap considerably though.
