The Atlantic Ocean, home to a number of different underwater creatures. One such creature is the mer-folk. The Atlantic Ocean is also home to one of the rulers of the sea, where he commands the waters in his home kingdom of Atlantica. And it is here that Arin and Amaya found themselves arriving after Amaya transported them from Earthsea.
Arin tried to flail his arms and legs to keep his body upright, but he found that his legs weren't responding the same way he was used to. Still holding his breath, unaware that he could breath underwater, he looked down and saw that he had a tail and dorsal fin in place of his legs "What the heck!"
Realizing he had just exhaled, he tried swimming to the surface, but noticed that he was inside of an underwater cavern of sorts, and he couldn't find a way to the surface. His face turned slightly blue before he had to take the risk of inhaling, fearing the inevitable drowning sensation that his family once warned him of as a child.
But he didn't feel it. In fact, he felt better than ever. It was then that he realized that he could breathe underwater. Relieved, he sighed heavily "…Wow…I thought I was gonna drown…Hey Amaya, we can breathe down……Here?" As he looked around to spot Amaya again, his face flushed a deep crimson as he saw Amaya for the first time in this world, and how it had affected her.

Amaya did not expect what happened when she transported them to here. She hadn't thought of Atlantica. All she had thought about was Stella and then, before she knew it, here she was! They were underwater! Amaya's eyes widened. Unlike Arin, she had inhaled in her surprise. Something that should have killed her with the sudden intake of water didn't happen. In fact, it were as if she were actually breathing underwater. That was strange.
Amaya floated there for a moment in thought. Just what caused this? Then, she remembered Arin, Amaya tried to turn like she normally did when in the water but something stopped her from doing it properly. Instead of turning, she did a sort of back flip in the water. As she did so, Amaya caught a glimpse of a tail. It was red in color. Amaya had a tail!
"How the heck?" she exclaimed. Only then did she notice Arin as he spoke. Amaya blinked up at him as he caught sight of her. Suddenly his face turned a deep crimson in color. Amaya furrowed a brow, looking at him confusedly. She still didn't realize what happened. "Arin? Why are you so red?" she questioned him. As she struggled to right herself, she suddenly realized why. Her shirt was missing! In its place was a shell bra! If her eyes could have popped out then, they would have. It was Amaya's turn to go deep crimson red in the face as she hurriedly covered herself. The action, unfortunately, jolted her so much that her arms had to suddenly fling out to try and right herself again.
"AHCK! I hate this place!" she exclaimed.

Arin was speechless for the longest time. But when Amaya accidentally flipped herself while trying to cover her chest, he tried to come to his senses. Clearing his throat, he tried to ignore the thoughts running through his teenage mind "…*Ahem*…Well, you certainly take care of yourself…" He knew he was going to pay for that later, but he didn't know how to lighten the mood in an embarrassing situation like this.
He kicked with his tail to try and get a feel for moving underwater. Making sure to give Amaya plenty of distance while she tried to adjust to her new wardrobe change. He had to admit, now that he was getting a feel for the water and his new tail, he was actually starting to enjoy being a merman.
Then, his eyes rested on a yellow and blue fish, who was watching them curiously. Arin stopped swimming long enough to meet the fish's gaze, and the fish let out a small human-like yelp before swimming behind a rock on the ocean bottom. Raising an eyebrow, he angled himself down to swim cautiously after the fish.
"Hey, Amaya? I know you're distraught about our current situation…But we have a fish watching us."
"Not just a fish mon!" A crab began swimming towards the fish from before, one that was oddly shaped compared to the crabs he was familiar with, and was speaking with a Jamaican accent…Wait, the crab was talking?! Arin stared at the crab, dumbstruck, was a crab actually talking to him? And he could understand it?
"…H-uh…A talking crab…And here I thought I've seen everything…"
The crab crossed his claws in front of him, glaring at Arin after his little quip "I see we 'ave a funny guy, don' we? Since you've neva' seen a talking crab befo', dat must mean you two aren' from around 'ere, are, joo?" Arin scratched his head nervously, chuckling in an equally nervous fashion "Eheheh…I guess you could say that…"
The crab raised an eyebrow at Arin, one more thing that surprised him about this sea creature "Flounda, I t'ink dese two might be like Ariel's friend; the outworlda wit' da keyblade." That word immediately caught Arin's attention "Wait, there was another keyblade wielder here before we got here?"
The crab instantly went wide eyed when Arin mentioned there being another keyblade wielder to this world. That got Arin nervous, did he say something wrong? "Flounda, help da gurl learn 'ow to swim properly, King Triton will want to 'ear about dis." The fish, clearly named Flounder, cautiously swam over to Amaya, so that he was in her view "F-follow me around the cave, m-miss, I-I'll help you get your bearings." Flounder then began swimming around the cave, changing his swimming pattern to give Amaya a small crash course on swimming like a mermaid. Meanwhile, Arin was curious about the keyblader before him "Hey crab-" "My name is Sebastian, mon, not crab!"
"Sorry, Sebastian, got it. Could you tell me about the other keyblade warrior; the one who came here before we did?" Sebastian eyed Arin carefully "Sorry mon, but if ya wanna know about dat, you're gonna had ta ask da king when we bring you to 'im." Arin scratched his head nervously "…Okay…If you say so Sebastian…I'm Arin by the way, and the one Flounder is helping out is Amaya." Sebastion nodded, swimming towards the exit of the cave once Amaya had gotten comfortable with her new form. "Dependin' on how da king responds to your presence 'ere, I cannot say yet if it is a pleasure or not ta meet joo. T'ough I hope, for your sake, it is." Arin kept slightly ahead of Amaya for now, trying to keep from looking at her and end up blushing. But little did he know that Amaya would be the least of his concerns once they reached the underwater kingdom of Atlantica.

Amaya feel humiliated without her shirt on. If it weren't for her hair concealing most of her shoulders, Amaya would feel even worse right now as she struggled to cover herself. She could feel Arin's gaze on her as she struggled to stay upright and cover herself, which wasn't going so well for her. In fact, she gave up trying to right herself and chose to hug herself to conceal most of her upper body. By doing so, it had caused her to go upside down in the water making her hair fall from her shoulders making Amaya realize just how bare she was without her shirt. The only thing that was protecting her assets was a sea shell bra!
Then, Arin chose that moment to speak. Amaya glared at him from her upside down position looking rather dangerous at that very moment. "You're so lucky I can't swim right now! I'd slap you for that one!" she growled at him.
Then, Arin focused on swimming, paying her not much mind. Amaya struggled to right herself while he wasn't looking but to no avail. Then, Arin told her after a yelp that a fish was watching. Well, that didn't sound all that surprising. They were both underwater so it wasn't unheard of a fish watching them. Yet, the sound she had heard that came from where it was made her wonder. Then, something else spoke and Amaya twisted a good deal to get a look at what had to be a talking crab with an accent. Amaya blinked with surprise. She had heard of talking creatures but she hadn't actually met one before.
The crab had told the blue and yellow fish to help Amaya learn how to swim. Nervously, it addressed her. It moved its tail to show her how she needed to swim. Looking down at herself, at her tail, Amaya tried to move it. It wasn't easy at first to process how she had to move her tail. Still, she mimicked what the fish was doing and before long, she was moving forward. Unfortunately, she didn't right herself to see where she was going and before long, she ran right smack into a rock formation. "AHP!" she exclaimed while the fish apologized profusely.
Soon, he swam down to where she was and flipped himself over like how she was. He outstretched his pectoral fins and gave one a flapping motion. As he did so, it propelled him up right and he used the other to keep him upright. Amaya copied what he was doing and finally, she was upright. "Whew! Finally!" Amaya stated. Flounder had lead her back over to where Sebastian and Arin were. As she did so, Arin seemed to face away from her on purpose and swimmed ahead of her.
When Amaya reached where they were, she could hear something about taking them to a king who didn't sound friendly. Well, wasn't that just great? Amaya wouldn't have a clue on how to fight in her current form. She was just learning how to swim! Then, Sebastian lead them toward wherever this king was. Arin swam ahead of her. As he did so, Amaya hadn't forgotten what she said to him earlier. Even if she didn't do it right now, she had the mind to some time later. From this angle, she could see his tail. Unlike her's, his looked like a dolphin's or a shark's. He was also completely bare up above. Amaya was thankful that she wasn't.
It had been quite a swim but the group finally made it to this palace. Amaya couldn't help but gape as they caught sight of it for the first time. It looked as if it were made out of pure gold. The closer they got, Amaya spotted others swimming around them. There were other mermaids and like her, they too had only sea shell bras on. The mermen were also just as topless as Arin was.
"Well, this is awkward."They were lead down a long road and before long, they were brought before a huge, clam throne. In it was seated a man with a huge beard wearing a crown upon his head. In his hand was a distinct trident.
"Sebastian, what is the meaning of this?" Came a booming voice. Amaya looked over at Arin and then the crab.

Arin flinched when Amaya threatened to slap him for what he said, thinking he had spoken it quietly enough to not be heard last time. *Well…I guess she takes after her grandmother more than she would believe…* He followed Sebastian into the kingdom, and his mind instantly went blank, and his face started turning as red as it had before when he saw Amaya with only her seashell bra on.
All around them, mermen and mermaids were swimming around peacefully, each of them as topless as he and Amaya were. He couldn't help but stare as the mer-folk as they swam by, some of the mermaids swimming on their own even waving cutely at Arin as he swam past. Shyly, Arin waved back, scratching his chin as he was clearly embarrassed by looking at the women. The fact that some of the mermaids honestly had more womanly figures than Amaya's was making him get a bit of a nosebleed, evident by the red dyed water following his head. The residents were clearly happy to see newcomers to the kingdom, as even some of the mermen waved at Amaya while swimming past, some of the more smug ones even gave her flirty winks, as if they expected her to fall for some egotistical charm they had.
Amaya commented on things being awkward, and Arin could only mutter a simple "Yeah…" Then they swam down a long hallway, and a large, muscular merman wearing a golden crown sitting on a clam throne was waiting for them at the end of the hallway. The king was also holding a formidable golden trident in his hand. The king demanded in a deep, booming voice the meaning for what was obviously Sebastian bringing Arin and Amaya into the kingdom.
"Apologies your Majesty, but Flounda and I were explorin' da caverns on da sea floor, ta make sure der were none of t'ose Heartless creatures swimmin in your ocean. I believe one of dem be a keybearer, like Ariel's friend, Sora." Arin listened to Sebastian and the king talk, waiting nervously to see just what was to become of them. He hoped that the king wouldn't jump to conclusions, and would at least give them a chance to explain themselves.

Amaya had noticed all of the locals as they entered the kingdom. There were a lot of mermaids with much more feminine figures than she. It made her self conscious in the sense that Amaya, although feminine in figure, had more muscle to her than the more obviously girly looking mermaids. As they went, Amaya noticed how Arin seemed to turn scarlet again as she swam a little beside him. Then, he weakly waved over at someone. Curious, Amaya glanced over and spotted some of the lone mermaids swimming past who chose that moment to wave at him. Despite herself, Amaya frowned.
'At least I've some muscle to me!' Amaya thought darkly. Still, she couldn't help but compare herself to the figures swimming by. It made her feel insufficient even though she had a physique to her. She wasn't entirely sure why that was. She even felt something seeing Arin waving at those mermaids and a trail of blood following him, signifying a nosebleed. She didn't realize she was feeling a bit jealous toward those mermaids.
The same seem to occur for Amaya as well as she swam along, trying hard to mind her own business. There were mermen, some even more ripped than she had seen before. There were just as many waving at her as they went or even winking at her. Amaya wasn't accustomed to this sort of attention. Modestly, she averted her gaze, blushing a bit out of embarrassment. They were certainly attractive. So much so that when they did those things, Amaya had shyly averted her gaze downward as she tried hard to not look but wasn't doing a very good job of it. Knowing she couldn't be rude, Amaya shyly waved as well but she didn't mean anything by it. Only then did she comment on how awkward it was.
'I...need to watch myself,' Amaya thought. Despite the flirting, Amaya could tell that the locals were curious of them. Heck, they seemed excited and happy to see newcomers. All the attention made it hard for Amaya. It gave her a sense of stage fright and if she had legs right now, she would've had a very hard time walking. There were just so many of them!
Then, finally, they were lead into what looked to be the place's palace. They were brought before who had to be the King. For someone as old as he was, he certainly was rather fit. He had that air about him that said he didn't take any nonsense as Sebastian explained himself. Sebastian had claimed that he believed one of them was a keybearer. As soon as he had said this, King Triton furrowed his bushy eyebrows as he looked between the two of them.
"Is that so?" King Triton said, sizing each of them up with a hardened expression. Amaya felt like she was dealing with her grandmother all over again. Something told her that angering this merman was a bad idea. "Why is there another keybearer? Haven't you been told that you shouldn't meddle in the affairs of other worlds?" he said. Amaya could tell that they weren't welcome here.
"U-Um...we're sorry...I was...teleporting us to another world...I am searching for...an old friend." Amaya glanced over at Arin since she hadn't told him about her thoughts of Stella which had to have been the reason why they came here. Stella had to be here somewhere.
"And just WHO are you searching for that requires you stepping into another world?" Triton had asked. He really sounded unhappy.
"I am searching for a fellow Dragoon Warrior by the name of Stella," Amaya answered him truthfully. Even if she tried to lie, she had a funny feeling that it would come out wrong and he'd find out anyway. It was probably for the best too. Lying to a king and him knowing you lied was a very bad idea. That didn't seem to bode well with the king. Apparently, he knew of Dragoon Warriors as he thundered at them.
"YOU are a DRAGOON WARRIOR?!" Triton boomed. "So then YOUR friend's that MENACE!" he continued. Yes, Triton had certainly encountered Stella from the sound of things. It really looked like things were turning out bad.
"S-She's not...my friend anymore, Your Highness. I have come to...to stop her..." Amaya's voice sounded a bit weak. Clearly, she was nervous. Who could blame her? The king's temper was clearly not something to mess with as he continued to thunder down at them from his throne.
"So you think it's your responsibility to stop her in another world? NONE of you should even be here!" he roared. Amaya looked over at Arin and the other two. Should they flee? What could they even say to quell the king's wrath?

Arin tried to remain quiet, and complacent as Triton began to scold Amaya for bringing them to his world. He clearly wasn't happy that they were intruding on his world. Amaya was clearly starting to shrink into a defensive shell, and this angered Arin. He immediately swam in between Triton and Amaya, arms stretched out to his side and giving the king a fiery stare that he knew he would likely regret later.
"Lay off of her, your Highness! We are here to stop the corrupted Dragoon warriors from terrorizing ALL worlds! We're only in your world because we HAVE to be, not by choice!" He knew that the king would likely react negatively to being talked back to, but the king was being unjust in his behavior, and Arin needed to speak up for his friend.

Amaya couldn't help but gradually shrink. He really was upset with them. His gaze seemed to blaze when his eyes had set on her after she revealed who she was. What was she going to do? There seemed to be no reasoning with him. Then, Arin got in between them after that exchange with his arms outstretched.
What Arin said wasn't something one should say to that of royalty or authority. His eyes seemed to blaze even more as he looked down at Arin now that he had his attention. Then only ones that ever talked back to him in that manner had been his daughter and Sora and his friends. "So there are MORE of you?" Triton asked but didn't expect an answer to that question. It was clear that Arin used the plural term when referring to the Dragoon Warriors.
"I bid you to do as you intended but leave immediately. You are not welcome here." Triton zapped the ground before them but not to hurt them. He was making it clear the situation was final. Amaya shrank back before looking over at Arin. The king made his decision clear. Usually, most worlds welcomed Amaya. She wasn't accustomed to this sort of treatment. He sounded worse than Ai. Turning away silently, Amaya swam down the very path they had traveled. Well, at least they were given permission to go find Stella and finish what business they intended to do.

Arin flinched when Triton zapped the ground near then, looking up first in shock, then disappointment at the king. Clearly, they were not welcomed in his ocean, and the king had made it final that he wanted them gone as soon as their mission was completed.
In an equally disappointed tone, Arin turned away from the king to speak with Amaya"…Let's go, Amaya…" Taking Amaya's hand firmly in his own, he began swimming faster than she was currently going to get out of the castle and away from the unwelcoming king. He wanted off this world just as much as Triton did.
He was so bothered by Triton's words that he didn't even glance at the mermaids as they swam out of the city, giving the macho mermen cold glares as they tried to flirt with Amaya. He kept ahead of Amaya for quite some time, leading her out of the city so they could search for Stella.
Once finally out of earshot of any unnecessary residents, he finally spoke "…I can't believe that guy…I get that people from aren't supposed to meddle with the affairs of other worlds, but that's no excuse to talk down to us like we're the villains!" His grip got tighter on Amaya's hand "…I mean, if anything, he should be thanking us for even coming here to help, because from the sound of it, he hasn't done much to take care of his world from outside threats…"
His grip grew tighter still, Amaya was likely going to have to take action to stop him from ranting and cutting off circulation from her arm "...He treated us with absolutely no respect from the moment we swam into his throne room! I mean, your grandmother treated me with more respect than him, and you told me she had a mean streak!"

Amaya was moving slowly, not even prepared for what Arin was about to do. Unexpectedly, Arin swam over to her, grabbed hold of her hand and swam off taking her along with him. He took them out of the palace. When they hit the streets, Arin still hadn't let her hand go. He had simply lead them onward. He didn't even appear to be distracted by the mermaids as he passed, pulling Amaya along in tow. Any mermen that looked her way, flirtatiously, got a cold glare from him.
It was almost frightening to see Arin so upset. Still, she couldn't help but notice that he had her hand in his grip. The simple act of him grabbing hold of her hand previously had caught her so off guard that her face had reddened. She wasn't sure why though as he lead them out of the kingdom and away from anyone that might hear them before finally coming to a slow. Arin fumed, stating that he couldn't believe how the king treated them. As he spoke, his grip had tightened about her hand. Amaya had thought it was a sign of consolation of some sort so she didn't complain, at first, about the slight discomfort her hand was in.
Amaya smiled a bit at how Arin was ranting. It was nice to know she had a friend to stick up for her. In a way, he reminded her of Asami to some extent. Then, Arin ranted further, his grip tightening so much so that now Amaya's hand hurt. Amaya flinched, gritting her teeth before she tried speaking to Arin. "Arin...my hand!" she said but he didn't seem to hear her. He continued, oblivious to the fact that he was gradually crushing her hand now. What could she do to stop him since talking to him wasn't working?
"ARIN! My hand!" Amaya tried more firmly but it wasn't working at all. He was too fixated on his anger. Despite her pain, Amaya was glad for his friendship. It helped her a good deal to not be alone in this. What she was about to do seemed more like a better choice than what she would have done prior. No longer trying to verbally tell him that he was hurting her hand, Amaya propelled herself enough to come up to Arin and embrace him with her free arm. Unfortunately, she overshot and instead of hugging him from behind, she hugged him from in front.
"It's alright, Arin...calm down..." Amaya said to him. "Thank you...for standing up for me..."

Arin was about to continue ranting, but Amaya had suddenly hugged him from the front, something he hadn't expected from her. She probably overshot while trying to grab his waist from behind. His face had turned redder than it had ever been before as he realized he was now hugging Amaya while she was one layer short of being completely topless, slowly releasing her hand from his tight grip as he realized he was practically crushing her hand in his. He slowly wrapped his arms around Amaya's bare back softly, sighing heavily and letting out a long stream of bubbles in the process.
"Sorry Amaya…I guess I got carried away…It just bothered me so much that he just kept lecturing you and you had done nothing wrong…I couldn't stand by and let him do it anymore…" He waited for Amaya to release him, swimming a bit away to give her some distance, while still very red in the face. Looking briefly at Amaya, he quickly shifted his gaze away as a small red spot formed near his nose, another nosebleed forming from his embarrassment "…Let's just find Stella and get this over with…I doubt we have much of a welcome wagon waiting for us anywhere in this world, not underwater anyway…"

Amaya hoped it would work, otherwise she'd have a broken hand to deal with. She hadn't intended to overshoot but she did. Since one hand was in Arin's grasp, actually swimming while being held onto wasn't as easy as it might have seemed. Not for Amaya anyway whom still had a bit to get used to swimming alone. As she hugged him, she could see Arin's face turn red. No doubt, she had caught him off guard. Slowly, he released her hand realizing that he had been holding on too tightly and returned the hug.
As Arin let out a sigh, Amaya was relieved that he had let go of her hand. Amaya gave her hand a bit of a flex and moved it around before looking back up at him. "It's alright, thank you. I greatly appreciate it." Amaya released him then as Arin swam a bit away to give her some distance.
Then, Arin suggested that they find Stella and get this over with, Amaya gave a nod of agreement at this. "Yeah, let's get this over with." With that, Amaya swam in ahead with no real idea of where to go. Still, she knew Stella had to have detected her by now. They had been in the world for some time now. In her heart, she knew somehow that Stella was around here somewhere. Would they be able to do it in Stella's domain? That remained yet to be seen.
"OH!" Amaya exclaimed, slowing down enough to swim alongside Arin. "I forgot!" she continued. "Stella's powers revolve around the water. So er...we are at a disadvantage here since we're underwater. She fights with a trident. Her style is far reaching but don't let the blades fool you, she can grab with them too and can chop something vital off if you're not careful."

Arin kept up to pace with Amaya, but slowed down when she needed to tell him about Stella's powers. Apparently, she had an affinity for water, which meant they were at a disadvantage. She was also apparently very talented with her trident, and could cut something off if Arin wasn't careful
"…I guess I'm glad I'm not human right now then…" He mumbled, before nodding in acknowledgement of Amaya's warning "We're just going to have to do what we can, Amaya. We came here set to free her from her controller, and that's what we need to do. I'll back you up since you're still not too familiar with your new body, the last thing we need is for you to get thrown off by a mermaid's tail."
He scanned left and right, trying to find Stella, before she could get the drop on either himself or Amaya. "The trick now, is finding her…"

Amaya gave Arin a confused look when he mumbled about something. She wasn't sure what he was thinking when she mentioned that Stella could chop something off with the trident. She had been mainly thinking about limbs rather than other things or even a head. Heck, their tails would be a good target if they didn't watch it. After a short moment, Arin nodded to acknowledge that he had heard her before speaking.
"...Yeah. And...thanks. I'll do my best."
Amaya continued swimming along with Arin. As they went, she could almost feel the water around them become suddenly quieter, much more tense. A shadow passed over them and Amaya looked up. There was nothing there or in sight. Confused, Amaya warily summoned her Dragoon armor. It was more so of a calling card for Stella now...and for the Great White Shark that suddenly charged right for them! Amaya's eyes widened as she saw a huge mouth coming right for them!
"Holy-!" Amaya exclaimed before flitting away just in the nick of time. A dark laugh was heard all around them, reverberating off of their immediate area. "...We've found her, Arin." Amaya looked all around before finally, a lone figure came into view holding a trident. It was different in the sense that the trident end looked as though it could clamp onto something other than stabbing with it.
Amaya held her scythe at the ready as Stella slowly came into the light, enough so that they could see her clearly. She was adorned in blue armor. Where it had a similar, dragon-like look to it, Amaya's and Stella's varied in their appearances. Stella's looked more like it had fins on it like a water dwelling dragon. "Ah, if it's not my old friend, Amaya. Come to have an early grave at sea? Here is far better than on land...no one will find your body," Stella said darkly, grinning at them. She looked normal but for her eyes. They were entirely black. The Great White Shark from before came around to hover in the water next to Stella peering over at them.
"Heh, you wish!" Amaya stated before swinging her scythe. As she did so, the blade sent an energy slash through the water in Stella's direction. Having expected this, Stella flitted out of the way, retaliating by sending a blast of water in Amaya's direction. It sent her reeling through the water toward a rock formation.

Arin's eyes narrowed when the sea suddenly seemed quieter, shifting his eyes left and right. Then, he noticed a shadow overhead and looked up just in time to see a giant great white shark propelling towards them. Arin immediately kicked with his tail to propel out of the way of the shark's jaws, twisting his body to swim back over to Amaya, and summoning his keyblade to his hand. Amaya commented that they had found her and he chuckled sarcastically "Yeah, I noticed."
He then saw someone approaching, wielding a trident, and he flipped his keyblade into a reverse hold, holding the keyblade in front of him at a defensive stance. There was a small exchange of words between Dragoon warriors, then Amaya made the first move. Anticipating the strike, Stella evaded, and countered with an attack that had her spiraling out of control towards a rock formation.
"Amaya!" Arin quickly reacted, swimming towards Amaya as quickly as he could to stop her from crashing into the rocks. As he caught up to Amaya, he summoned his keyblade armor to protect himself, and tried to slow them down enough to lessen the blow on his back as he protected Amaya from the rocks.
He grunted when his back crashed into the rocks, holding Amaya tightly while shielding her from hitting any vulnerable points on her armor from the impact had he not caught her in time. Once the crash was done, he released Amaya, and pushed off of the rocks, where an indent of his impact had been left.
Arin resummoned his keyblade to his hand, staring up at Stella and the giant shark, as he tried to figure out how to help Amaya out "…Those wings work like a dragon's, right? Maybe you can use them to control how you move in the water. Stella seems to be doing that, and it's playing in her favor, it might be time you did too."

Amaya hadn't been prepared for this fight. She hadn't tried swimming in her armor. Now that she was in a situation where she needed to, only now did she regret the mistake of not doing so earlier. Still, it might've not been a good idea to summon her armor to her when the sea creatures had found them. It might've labeled them as enemies to the kingdom here. Sadly, even then, it had been futile since the king here had made it clear that he didn't want them around. They were as good as enemies out here as well anyway.
All Amaya knew was that she was spiraling out of control, unable to stop her acceleration from Stella's surprise attack. As her world reeled, she heard Arin call out her name. Before she knew it, Amaya was grabbed onto tightly just before making impact with the rock formation. She would have hit it hard if not for the sudden interception in the form of Arin. He had shielded her from the full impact against the rock and took it instead, himself with his own armor. There was a loud grunt when Arin hit the rock in her place. Amaya was unharmed. Arin had cushioned the blow.
"...Thanks, Arin."
Now that they were upright again, Arin had summoned his keyblade again and suggested that Amaya resort to using her wings like fins. It might be a great help in the fight. A light bulb seemed to appear over Amaya's head then in her realization. "You're right!" she exclaimed. For once, she actually had a means to better help her swim in this awful place. Well, it had been beautiful and interesting at first until they experienced unpleasant occurrences. No doubt, Amaya never saw herself coming here ever again.
As Stella turned and came in for another strike, this time Amaya was ready for it. Using her wings, Amaya avoided the lunge with the trident altogether and came around this time, swinging her scythe again. Stella only just narrowly brought her weapon around to block her from getting through. As she did so, the shark charge for Arin again, chomping its jaws.

Arin nodded, his upper body the only part of his body covered with his armor, and stopping at the point where his body merges with the tail "Now, go take care of Stella, I'll handle Jaws…" He let Amaya swim ahead, his body glowing brightly in the water, and letting the illumination affect other areas in the water close to him. The light also made it harder for the Shark to see him
"Alright, you overgrown fish…come and get me…" Arin began swimming toward the shark, wisps of darkness swirling around his body and growing in mass as he increased his speed. Just as he was about to Swim right into the shark's mouth, an explosion of light burst out from his body, knocking the shark back. When the shark was able to regain its composure, Arin was wielding Rapture and Redemption, both in a reverse grip with the blades resting along his arms. They were emanating light and dark auras.
"Let's dance, bub." Heswam with his keyblades acting as wings, assisting in quickly correcting his path so he could swim in close for swim-by strikes, while avoiding the shark's teeth.

Amaya's armor protected what parts it normally did in the upper body area. When it came to her new form's tail, the armored tail on her land form seemed to have merged with the mermaid's tail to fit it. When Arin told her to take care of Stella, Amaya gave a nod. "Alright, don't get eaten. We've a few more to go after this one!" Amaya said, half teasing before she gave her armor's wings a flap. In doing so, it had propelled her in Stella's direction.
The two seemed to have forsaken using their abilities over clashing with their weapons against each other. Well, for a short moment. Then, Stella pushed back Amaya and twirled in the water speedily. As she did so, a whirlpool had formed around her! The whirlpool was so large that Amaya had to turn away and fight the current's tugging. Anything else in the near vicinity would also feel the tug. Amaya needed to think of something that would hit Stella and stop that whirlpool before it sucked them all in.
"Alright, time to get serious!"
Amaya extended her hand out towards the nearest thing with a shadow. As soon as she did so, dark energy formed into a ball in her hand. Believe it or not, Amaya had just created a basketball sized shadow ball from those very shadows. Now, they were solid enough for her to use as an attack. Hoping that it would work, Amaya threw it over her shoulder so that the whirlpool would suck it in. Stella was in the very center of it so there was a chance it could catch her by surprise. That and Stella couldn't just stop this attack on the drop of a dime. Amaya remembered at least that much when she sparred with her.
Sure enough, a yelp of pain had reached Amaya's ears and the whirlpool waned and eventually, ceased. Amaya turned to see where Stella was. The Shadow ball had hit her, it seemed, in an area that hadn't been armored. What a lucky shot! "Is that really all you've got?" Stella growled. There seemed to be a dark energy radiating from her then. Whatever controlled her was upset but clearly, it wasn't going to be defeated so easily.
"No, I'm just getting started!" Amaya replied. Stella took a piece of her armor, a fin, that actually detached from it and threw it right at Amaya. Amaya dodged it but she wasn't ready for when the fin spun back in an arch like a boomerang. It hit her in the back, making Amaya grunt from the impact and slight pain. The crack there had allowed a part of the fin to slice Amaya's upper back a bit.
Then, Stella threw more of these after that one fin returned to her. Amaya was forced to weave in and out of these projectiles. Then, it occurred to her that with the light nearby that Arin seemed to be using at that moment while he was going toward the shark, that Stella's shadow had elongated and was now in a perfect spot for her to reach.
"Checkmate!" Amaya exclaimed as she stabbed Stella's shadow with her scythe. One would have though that this was a strange tactic but Amaya's armor allowed her to manipulate shadows. So, as soon as she had stabbed the shadow, Stella was paralyzed with the motion. The only thing Stella could do was talk while frozen in place.
"Wh-WHAT?!" Stella exclaimed. Amaya had never used the technique on her before. She never found the need to until now. Amaya swam over to her.
"Either you release my friend or I will remove your control from her altogether!" Amaya growled, having the blade of her scythe come around to curve just underneath Stella's bare and exposed chin, close to the throat.
The shark, in the meantime, had been surprised by the attack that Arin had made. Now, it charged at him when he spoke to it, its maw open wide as it tried to bite into him. The good that would do was likely just get a hold of the armor that Arin was wearing and never actually harm him. Still, it was a dangerous pet of Stella's since it would prove nasty if it were able to actually chomp down on either of them.

Arin swam at the shark as it charged at him, then twisted his arms so the blades directed his movements to the right, around the shark. He then flexed his left wrist and Rapture was now digging into the flesh of the shark, leaving a black aura trail along the deep slice marks on the shark's body.
The shark twisted his body and tried to chomp at Arin again, and he merely responded to this by curving upward at the last second, twisting his body so that his right side was nearest to the shark. Arin then flexed his right wrist and began dragging Redemption along the sharks body mirroring the one he did before. As he carved into the shark's flesh, a shining, bluish white aura leaked from the slice marks left by this keyblade, leaving the shark swimming around with blood, and auras of light and darkness searing the sea hunter's flesh.
Arin persisted with his evasive swimming, utilizing his small size to constantly avoid the shark's massive jaws, and get some quick hits in at every opportunity, and leave more wounds on Stella's pet.

Amaya held her scythe at the ready as Stella let out a laugh that wasn't even her own. "You know the answer to that one. Your dear friend can't be saved anymore now that I have such a hold on her." Amaya glared down at it before Stella's eyes suddenly changed. The eyes were no longer black. "You...wouldn't kill me...would you, Amaya?" came Stella's own voice. The tone sounded accusing and hurt, betrayed.
Of course, Amaya wasn't expecting this kind of reaction. Did Stella really think that Amaya truly wished to kill her? It caused her to hesitate and it was in that moment that Amaya learned the hard way that hesitation is a very bad idea. Stella had brought up her finned fist and punched Amaya in the exposed portion of her navel. The paralysis that Amaya had used was only temporary and the effect had worn off. The punch had knocked the wind...or water, out of Amaya as she was sent careening back a few feet. Her stomach was cut where the fins had made contact with her stomach. Amaya sent up a force field just before she hit another rock formation, this time prepared. The force field had prevented Amaya from getting hurt. Still, she had to hold her stomach. That punch had really hurt and on top of it, she had been stabbed by those fins.
"Y-You-!" Amaya exclaimed, angry now. Stella laughed darkly at her with that laugh that wasn't known to be Stella's. The eyes were black again. It had all been a trick!
"You are so amusing. You're so intent on killing me and yet you can't. How pathetic!"
Amaya glared before removing her hand from her stomach which was still bleeding. "I'll show you pathetic!" Angrily, Amaya charged Stella and they clashed once more. This time, Amaya's strength was fueled by her anger and she bombarded Stella until the other couldn't fend her off anymore and had to try to blast her away with water. Amaya went around it and then smacked Stella in the face with her tail. It was distraction enough for Amaya to slice her former friend's throat with her scythe.
There was blood in the water. A large cloud of it as Amaya backed off in shock. She had actually slit Stella's throat!
