Amaya didn't want to be a burden and didn't want to show vulnerability right now. She knew that she was being stubborn but she couldn't help it. It wouldn't do them any good if she kept trying to run away from what must be done. Also, she didn't want to make Arin worry so she went on ahead and waited for them at the doorway. She guessed that what she said hadn't fooled Arin. He didn't challenge her about it though. Instead, he had followed her with his hands in his pockets. As he urged them to go, Arin stated that they might need some time to rest after this.
As Meg planted a kiss on Hercules's cheek, Amaya could see the broad shouldered hero turn red before a goofy smile appeared on his face then. He didn't quite seem to realize where it was that he was going since he kept going straight, passing Arin and Amaya and the doorway altogether. Amaya, surprised, grabbed hold of the cape or whatever it was that Hercules was wearing and tugged him back on track.
"Er, we're going this way."
Hercules looked surprised before realizing it and immediately headed toward the doorway with them, snapping out of his stupor. Amaya followed after Arin and Hercules, after she was sure their taller friend made it through alright. She gave a wave in Meg's and Phil's direction before entering the portal. When she entered the Underworld, she hadn't expected to see it in the state it was in. Although it was eerie, it wasn't all that bad. She had half expected everything to look diminished and dead looking.
"Huh, not what I expected."
It gave an eerie feel. Ahead, Amaya could see what looked to be a Coliseum. As they stood there, Amaya felt a sudden wave of nausea. It felt like the life was getting sucked out of her. In reality, it was. Hence why Hercules and his friends had made it clear that they shouldn't go down here without the Olympus Stone. Upon hearing Arin, Herclues took out the stone. The stone shown brightly around them.
"Whew, that feels loads better. I thought I was going to puke or something."
"That's why we didn't want you two to go without this."
There was a river of something in front of them. A boat was moored there. "I guess we take this to get there?"

Arin felt the light of the Olympus stone shine around them and instantly felt the weight of the underworld off of his shoulders. Standing tall once more, he looked back at Herc as he emphasized why he and the others didn't want him or Amaya continuing on without the stone's protection "Duly noted Herc, we'll keep that in mind if we ever make it out of this place and ever come back to visit.
He then looked over to the boat Amaya had pointed out, noticing the undead feel it gave off, and noticing two short impish demons bickering in front of the Boat. Arin stepped forward and interrupted the two demons, brandishing the invitation Hades had given him "We're here to challenge the underworld's top fighter, Dante." He handed the paper to the blue demon, which was instantly taken from the red demon, and they started fighting over the paper. This got on Arin's nerves, and he narrowed his eyes as his temper got the better of him.
"Hey! We're here because Hades told us to come here if we wanted to fight Dante! So unless you want to explain to the lord of the underworld why his prized fighter is waiting for his next group of challengers, I suggest you stop fighting over who gets to hold the paper and let us cross on that boat!"
The imps jumped slightly from Arin's outburst, but looked at him in disinterest. In fact, the manner that they responded to his negotiated threat was somewhat mockingly. Fed up with the imps' lack of cooperation, he pulled out his dark katana handle and summoned forth the blade, causing the imps to go wide eyed and shiver slightly "…Have I made my point this time?" He pulled out his other katana handle, summoning forth his light sword now "Or would you prefer further convincing? Take us to the coliseum where Dante is fighting…Now."
Arin's glare, along with the pair of sharp and pointy weapons being brandished at them, got the imps moving double time. they looked over the invitation, tossed it into the air, then started hauling their butts like their tails were on fire. Within minutes, the boat was ready, and Arin put away his swords to walk freely onto the boat, taking a deep breath and calming himself down. He sat cross legged on the front of the boat, arms crossed and eyes closed as he tried to center himself.
*Need to stay calm, this place is getting to me…*

The boat had two creatures standing by it. One was fat and red in color, the other was thin and blue in color. When they wandered over to them and the boat, the creatures were arguing over something. Arin had interrupted them, drawing their attention towards Hercules, Amaya and Arin. Arin presented the invitation from Hades. The creatures took it from Arin and then...fought over it like they did the boat. This time, it was about which of them held the invitation.
The inevitable happened. Amaya saw it coming, Hercules did not. Arin exploded on the creatures, beyond pissed. Before they knew it, there they were, on the boat and headed right for the coliseum. The creatures were rowing very vigorously. It were as if they feared death. Well, after the way Arin threatened them, she couldn't blame them. The blond was not someone to anger.
Amaya sat in the middle of the boat between Hercules and Arin. Arin sat in front of her. While they were gliding across what looked to be a lake of mist or...were these souls perhaps? A sudden voice made Amaya look back. It was Hercules.
"Does your friend always get that mad?" Hercules has asked her. Amaya couldn't help but light up in amusement at that as she nodded.
"Yes, he does."
Hercules seemed to grimace a bit at that. "He can be as scary as a Hydra," At this, Amaya let out a laugh before they were interrupted by the boat crashing into the bank. It made them all at least jolt a foot forward. The demons or whatever they were apologized profules before pulling them up one by one out of the boat. They were finally there at the entrance of the coliseum.
Amaya looked up at it for a long time. Dante would be inside waiting for them. Were they to fight him right away or were they going to partake in a tournament of sorts?
"Well, here we go." Hercules lead the way in.

Arin was meditating the entire trip over to the coliseum, not even paying attention to the fact that there were souls swimming around in the river beneath them. Unfortunately, this also meant he wasn't aware of the fact that they were closing in to the coliseum faster than anticipated.
The sudden impact forced Arin to stumble forward, catching himself just in time to keep from whacking his head on the boat's frame. Arin glared at the two imps, who were apologizing profusely. They quickly stepped to the side when Arin stepped off of the boat, following after Hercules and helping Amaya off the boat by holding it in place.
Following Hercules into the coliseum, there was no one in sight. The only one visible in the stands was Hades himself "He-Hey there squirts! Finally decided to show up after all huh? Oh-and I see you've brought wonder-boy with you! Well, your timing couldn't be any more perfect, I was just about to send Dante up there to fight him myself. How about I introduce you three to your opponent, huh? Dante! You're up kid." He snapped his fingers and a large cloud of smoke appeared at the opposite end of the arena.
Arin pulled out his sword handles, waiting for Dante to show up and prepare for battle before drawing out the blades and making a move.

Amaya and Hercules were lucky that Arin hadn't caught what they were saying behind him. When they made a crash landing, Amaya was more than eager to get out of the boat. As soon as she set foot onto land, she sighed with relief. Hercules got out without much trouble. Now, they were at the coliseum and Hercules lead the way in. There, it was entirely empty.
"Hmmm..." Amaya stated.
Then, there was Hades. He greeted them stating that their timing was more than perfect. He was apparently pleased that they had brought Hercules along. Hades was about to send Dante up, like he had said. Without further hesitation, Hades summoned Dante. With a brief snap of his fingers, a cloud of smoke appeared at the opposite of the arena. Out of the cloud stepped none other than Dante. Amaya recognized him by his red Dragoon armor. Bright violet eyes leered out from under black bangs as he slowly walked out. Amaya summoned her armor then in case Dante sprung into action.
"Ah, if it isn't Amaya...but I don't think I recognize you two..." Dante stated, looking in Arin's and Hercules's direction. Hades sounded confident to think he could have all three of them fight Dante by himself. Still, Dante couldn't die by normal means. He had to have something severed. Amaya and Arin already knew of this.
Amaya stepped forward first. "That's none of your concern, Dante. Leave my friends alone." Dante chuckled at what she said.
"Please, Amaya. It would be rude to not introduce them to me. We are old friends, after all." Amaya furrowed her brows. Maybe it wouldn't be that much of a problem.
"This is Hercules and here is Arin." Dante immediately focused his gaze on Arin. A dark grin was on his face then. Already, Amaya had a feeling that he was up to something but what? He prowled back and forth before them like a predatory animal.
"Oooh, I see now. Arin's not just some friend." Amaya felt like dying right then and there. If her grandmother's questioning Arin hadn't been bad enough, now Dante was starting it all over again! Amaya's face reddened a little. Thank goodness the shadow of her helmet made it difficult to see her face. "He's your boyfriend, isn't he?" Amaya wanted to hide under a rock at that very moment. Her face flared up with embarrassment.
"SH-SHUT UP, DANTE!" Amaya shouted. Dante laughed whole heartedly at her response.
"That reaction tells me right there!" Amaya was rendered speechless. She couldn't think of what to say in response. That didn't stop Dante, however. He barreled on. "Arin and Amaya~!" he said in a sing song voice. Amaya's face flared all the more. "Sitting in a tree~!" Dante looked like he was relishing this moment. "K-I-S-S-"
"ENOUGH, DANTE!" Amaya screamed. She charged Dante then, intending to silence him before he continued and embarrassed her beyond embarrassment. Dante blocked her attack with his scimitars. As he did so, Dante dropped the mocking. This time, he went for a different approach.
"Now, now, Amaya. You wouldn't kill your friends!" Dante said to her. It jabbed a figurative knife at her heart. Dante picked up on the hesitancy and continued. "You're attacking me, Amaya. Why would you do that? We're friends, aren't we?" Amaya couldn't bring herself to attack again. She were frozen in place with her scythe locked with his scimitars. Dante let out a sudden gasp. As if he were surprised about something he just realized at that very moment. "And Amaya...you killed Stella...how could you?" That had been what really struck Amaya hard. She shoved her scythe against his scimitars so that he would back off. However, she couldn't lash out.
"You murdered Stela in cold blood, Amaya. I'm sure you're going to have a lot of explaining to do when you face her family...severed her own head off. How terrible, Amaya. Really are we such bad things for you to resort to such...cruel methods?" Amaya clutched at her head then, as if she were trying to cover her ears under the helmet but to no avail.
"SHUT UP!"
Dante laughed darkly at her. "Oh, Amaya. How terribly rotten. Killing Stella and then on a journey to kill the rest of us. Poor Asami...her sister's a murderer!" Amaya couldn't help but feel herself caving in. Her eyes welled with tears.
"I-I said...sh-shut up!" Amaya replied more weakly, her voice cracking as she started to shed tears.

Arin watched as Dante emerged from the smoke Hades conjured up, immediately addressing Amaya, and claiming not to recognize Arin or Hercules, which was to be expected. Amaya tried to keep them out of the affair, but Dante persisted, leaving Amaya no choice but to introduce them. Dante sized the two men up, grinning as his eyes laid on Arin.
Then, something Arin hadn't expected happened. Dante accused Arin of not just being Amaya's friend, but in fact being her boyfriend. This made his face turn a light shade of red, and he was sure Amaya was worse off than he was, given how she could be. She clearly didn't take well to the taunting, and attacked first. But it only got worse for her then.
Dante was using mind games on Amaya, accusing her of killing Stella, one of her friends, and Dante was loving every moment of it as it was having an immediate effect on her. The more Amaya was being affected by her former colleague's tormenting words, the angrier it got Arin. Setting both sword handle's in his left hand, he summoned his keyblade and hurled it full forced at Dante, the blade spinning like a buzz saw and crashing into Dante's midsection like a battering ram. Arin silently stepped forward, toward Dante and Amaya, holding both swords firmly and summoning both blades forth in a flash of blue and purple light.
"That's enough out of you…You want an opponent that won't have remorse over killing you, and won't hold back when their blade is leaving you headless? Then try me on for size…" He got between Amaya and Dante, glaring at the red Dragoon warrior with malice and death in his eyes "…Trust me…You won't be disappointed…"

Amaya remained there clutching her head. She dropped to her knees as the tormenting got worse. Tears fell freely from her eyes then, no longer able to put up with the thoughts that Dante triggered. It were as if he had dug deep and tore out her worst fears. As if he had spilled out her guts and was revealing every weakness of her's. It made her feel weak and worthless. How was she going to fight him now? She caved too easily!
Then, there was the sound of something hitting metal. Dante let out a grunt as he took a few steps away from Amaya. Amaya, surprised, lifted her gaze to look over. For a moment, her tears stopped as she spotted a familiar figure coming in between her and Dante. The familiar voice told her that it was Arin and he sounded ticked off. If he hadn't stepped in, Dante would have continued to bombard her before making the final blow.
Now, Dante's entire attention was fixed on Arin. The two, it were as if the tension in the air got thick. Amaya remained where she was, letting her tears fall silently as she tried to get a hold of herself. It were as if the ground had been pulled out from under her. "I-I'm...sorry...Arin..." she apologized, trailing off.
Dante heard the things that Arin was stating. "Hmph! Well, I wasn't wrong in assuming you two are a couple." Amaya was too dismayed right now to react to the jibe. It looked like it was up to Arin to take Dante on. Amaya couldn't think straight or stand up willingly without her knees giving up each time her mind went through a wave of terrible memories. Hercules seemed to understand this was a fight the other two needed to partake in.
"Well then, lets see how good you are."
(OOC: Feel free to control as you see fit for them two.)

Arin smirked when Dante turned his attention away from Amaya, taking one step back to get into a defensive stance "Quick to make assumptions, aren't you, hothead? But you couldn't be farther from the truth, got your attention though, didn't I?" He turned his attention to Hercules and Amaya, Amaya apologizing without giving a reason to why.
"Just sit back and rest, Amaya, it's time I held my end of the bargain…Herc, get Amaya to a safe distance, and keep her safe." He Narrowed his eyes at Dante, aiming one blade at Dante's throat "I'm going to cut this bastard down to size…"
He rushed forward and swung diagonally to the right with his left hand, before swinging down with his right hand for an overhead smash.

Dante let out a laugh in response to what Arin had said. "Ah, farther from the truth, am I? So you won't even admit you're friends with her then? Way to crush someone," Dante said. Keen to point that part out.
Amaya had been apologizing for being weak but Arin wouldn't know that. She hadn't said anything more on the subject. She was far too broken right now to think clearly. She heard Arin telling her to sit back and rest. He would hold up his end of the bargain. Amaya snapped to attention. What if he got killed? Amaya protested, trying to get to her feet.
"What?! No!" Amaya said but Arin wasn't listening. By now, Amaya's stubborn attitude was well known. Hercules, looking puzzled, gave a nod and lifted Amaya up over his shoulder. Amaya protested the entire way. Hercules understood what Arin was doing. He would have done the same if Phil or Meg had been around. He would want his friends safe. The two went as far as the opposite end away from the battle. Amaya could see that Hercules wasn't going to relent so she finally succumbed to the situation. All they could do now was watch as Arin made the first move.
Dante set his scimitars aflame and blocked the oncoming attack. "Pity you're not a fire user too. You've got the attitude for it." Dante then used the dragoon armor's tail to stab it at Arin's shoulder. "So really, what is your reason for being here then?" Dante questioned him.

Arin narrowed his eyes when Dante twisted his words on him, getting annoyed with the boy's constant running of the mouth "Oh, I'm her friend, I'm just not the type of friend you were labeling me as."
As Dante blocked his attacks and started taunting him again, he narrowed his eyes. When the topic of what Arin's reason for being here was came up, he showed no emotional reaction, staring Dante down Spitefully as he pushed away to avoid the armor's tail from piercing his shoulder, giving the two some distance.
"Why I'm here doesn't concern you. What should is that I'm here, and I'm going to sever whatever hold the darkness has on you. Permanently!" Swiping both blades in an X, he launched a cross slash wave at Dante before rushing him. Rather than immediately strike with his swords, he stepped to the side and did a sweeping leg kick to Dante's leg. Attempting to force the red Dragoon warrior off balance, he forced his scimitars out of the way to swing his sword in a stabbing motion for Dante's side, and one aiming to slice his head off.

Dante just let out a dark chuckle again when Arin claimed that he was Amaya's friend, just not what Dante labeled him as. "We'll see about that." Dante lashed out with his tail, watching Arin push away to avoid the jab at his shoulder so that the sharp tail point wouldn't pierce it. The two now had some distance between them. It was now more clear that there was something wrong with Dante. The way he moved was just...off. Instead of normal walking, he seemed to weave. It were almost as if some sort of force was forcing his movements along, as if he were a puppet almost.
He even held his head to the side, as if drunk or unwell. Now that one looked at him, it were almost as if Dante's body were trying to resist whatever had a hold on him but couldn't win. Despite his attempts, whatever had a hold on him won and now Dante just seemed to be limp, unwilling to do what whatever was forcing him to do what he was doing which explained the weird movements and odd positioning of his head and standing.
As Arin stated that why he was here didn't concern him, whatever controlled Dante let out another laugh. "We saw you back in Atlantica. Killed Stella's pet..." Dante said. Where he was using his voice, it had been clear in Atlantica that Dante hadn't been there physically. No, something else had to have seen them. As Arin proclaimed that he was here to severe what the darkness's hold had on him, permanently, Dante lifted his head more fully then.
"How can one that is almost as intimately linked with the darkness hope to achieve that?" Danted questioned him, not really looking for an answer to that question as Arin sent out a Cross Slash attack at him. Dante used the wings of his armor to fly over the attack. When he came down, Arin had stepped to the side and then aimed to slice Dante's head off. Dante was quick though. It was clear that compared to Stella, he was a swifter fighter and more skilled. Bringing a scimitar to block each of the attacks before leaping back and forming a wall of fire in front of him. Dante leaped into it and seemingly disappeared from sight. Where was he?
Another wall of flames erupted near Arin and Dante leaped out of it. As he did so, he aimed a double slash at Arin's side.

Arin narrowed his eyes when Dante started acting erratically, it was clear the one in control of the body was definitely not the host. While he regretted he had to kill someone like this, he knew letting him live would only mean more havoc for the worlds, something he could not allow. When Dante pointed out his actions in Atlantica in response to him saying why he was helping Amaya didn't concern him, he smirked "What's the matter Dante, is whoever's controlling you upset that we broke one of their toys?"
Then, Dante vanished in a wall of flames, and was out of sight anywhere in the arena. Arin shifted his gaze left and right, trying to find where he would pop up next. Then, he heard it, the flame wall erupted behind him. Doing a corkscrew flip away from Dante, he launched his black fire wave at Dante, masking Arin's keyblade being summoned and flying behind the fire, and aimed at Dante's midsection.
Once Arin touched ground, he slammed his hand against the armor on his arm, and his body shone with a bright flash before being covered head to the in his keyblade armor, and rushing Dante before the flames or keyblade stopped pulling Dante's attention away from him. He slashed at Dante, both blades moving to decapitate Dante if he didn't parry the attack.

If only Amaya and Arin could hear the thoughts of the real Dante, locked within, a prisoner of his own body. He was forced to do many things he hated. Where he had been known to be a hothead out of the others, less so than Amaya, he would have never gone as far as killing someone without just reason. He hated the fact that he couldn't snap out of it. He hated how he couldn't just stop himself by his own accord to stop himself from hurting Amaya's friend. He hated himself for letting that entity take over him so much that it spilled out words that he would have never uttered to Amaya, let alone anyone.
It was frustrating. So frustrating to know that the only way he could rebel was to be limp. Even with him trying to be limp, he was controlled like a puppet on strings. The damned thing could still move him and make him do things he didn't agree with. It angered him so much and frustrated him so much that Dante despaired. If Arin were close just before Dante dived into the flames, he would have noticed the glassy look in his eyes. Much like Stella, Dante was suffering. He wanted to be set free!
As the battle progressed, Dante could only look on. If what that thing said were true, Stella was already killed and freed from her torment. Just what had happened to them? Why did things have to turn out to be like this? How come Amaya was the only one that didn't get corrupted? Of course, he was happy to know that she hadn't been corrupted. However, he caused her so much pain. He and the other Dragoon Warriors had chased her, even beaten her to death almost.
As Arin spoke, the entity controlling Dante at the time gave a flat look. It was a look that would have been reflected by the real Dante if he could. Just because of how rude it was. Still, he couldn't blame Arin. The thing that controlled him had caused him to hurt Amaya. It had to have been hard on her to be doing this. It was all left to her to take care of the Dragoon legacy. She was the last. Well, would be the last. Dante hoped that Arin wasn't going to make him suffer. He had already suffered enough.
As the entity forced Dante to pop out of the flames, he felt the weapon hit him in the midsection. It hurt a lot. Dante could still feel pain inflicted upon himself. He let out a scream inside. Then, Arin changed form. The real Dante recognized that Arin was a keyblade warrior. Maybe he would be rescued? Even if it resulted in his death?
Then, he felt his hand get sliced off. Oh what pain he was in! The entity could not control Dante then as a loud scream filled the air. Dante staggered forward, clutching his hand. "M-My hand!" Dante said as he staggered back, blood flowing onto the ground. Of course, it soon reformed. The blood had been red but the entity congealed it right before Arin's and everyone else's eyes and reformed a perfect and healed hand. It were as if the hand had never been cut off.
As Dante recovered, it looked like he was about to stab at Arin but instead he stabbed both Scimitars into the ground. "Just get it over with, damn it! Before this bastard takes over me again! I'm tired of it!" Dante growled.

Arin was caught off guard when Dante cried out in pain, stepping back when he saw that his arm had been severed after blocking Arin's decapitating strike. But in mere moments, his blood had reformed into a brand new arm, the severed one laying motionless on the arena floor.
As Arin braced himself when Dante looked to stab at him, he didn't expect Dante to stab the ground, and beg for his life to end. Unsure if this was a trick or not, he looked at Amaya, bowing his head apologetically before turning to Dante again "I'm sorry this has happened to you…I'll release you from your torment."
Dante gripped his scimitars tightly, trembling as he kept struggling for control "Spare me the sentimentality…Just get it over with, and make sure you keep Amaya safe." Closing his eyes, he braced for the end.
Nodding, Arin set his sword handles on his sides, summoning his keyblade and preparing to slice Dante's head off. "…You have my word, Dante." That was when he was sent flying with a heavy backhand by Hades, stabbing the arena floor with his keyblade and barely stopping himself just before being forced off of the arena floor. He was hanging over the edge by the handle of his keyblade, struggling to keep from falling into the abyss below.
Hades, meanwhile, had picked Dante up by the neck, and was staring him in the eye "Now I know you're not trying to ruin a good thing by throwing your life away, kid. I don't know why you're having a sudden change of heart, but I'm not gonna let you throw in the towel and ruin my chance at ridding myself of Hercules once and for all. You're going to fight for me, even if you don't want to"
Hades aimed his free hand at Dante, and he could instantly feel his corrupted heart being forced from his body. Or rather, he could feel it trying to be forced out, as Hades was unknowingly competing with another dark entity for control of his heart.

Amaya could do nothing but watch as the battle continued. Then, Arin had cut off Dante's hand. The scene made her turn her head before she dared to look again. When she did, Dante's hand had already been reformed. Then, he made to stab at Arin. At least, from her view, that's what it looked like but he dug both blades into the arena floor instead. Just what was going on? Dante seemed to have gained control of himself temporarily.
The two were conversing but from where she was, she was unable to hear what was being said. It seemed as if Dante were telling Arin to kill him. Arin was agreeing to it but looked remorseful at the idea. As he changed his weapon into the keyblade, Arin was about to take off Dante's head. That is, until Hades had interfered and swatted Arin aside.
"ARIN!" Amaya shouted.
Hades had grabbed Dante by the neck and raised him into the air. This time, what had been left of Dante, had ceased and the entity within resumed control. It had Dante remain limp in Hades's grasp as he spoke to it. As he told Dante that he was going to fight for him, even if he didn't want to, there was a tug. However, there was a tug back into Dante as Hades attempted to gain control over him. Dante's eyes returned to pitch black.
"It was a short control problem, Hades. I wouldn't try to take the heart of something that's already under the control of another dark god."

Arin had to recall his keyblade armor, reducing the amount of weight that gravity was putting on him. Normally, he would be able to move around as if he weren't wearing any armor. But against natural elements such as the laws of gravity, without direct intervention from himself, it was a heavier burden on his body. He could hear Amaya's cry for him, reaching up slowly to try and get a good grip of the arena.
Hades released Dante as the dark puppeteer regained control over his body, looking down at the significantly shorter Dragoon warrior as he explained that it was unwise to take the heart of one currently under control by another dark god. "Well, since the punk with the keyblade is a goner, I'll leave you to deal with the other two."
He turned his head back toward his seat outside of the arena, only to let his jaw drop. A few fingers were gripping the edge of the arena, fingers that were starting to glow a pale blue. Arin leapt up, kicking the air with his doubleflight ability to somersault back onto the arena, a vortex of darkness swirling beneath him. Arin was glaring at Hades, his eyes glowing slightly as a surge in light and dark power was building in him "You celebrate too early, Hades…" He slowly rose to his feet, flipping his keyblade into a reverse hold "…Cuz I'm not dead yet."
The darkness swirled over his body and exploded outward in a burst of light, the particles of dark and light aura shaping around his body to form a wispy, chaotic veil, something that hadn't happened before. Arin's keyblades emitted a steady flow of energy, akin to their elemental affiliation. Arin summoned forth his armor again, and the aura surrounded his body around the armor, almost extending the pointed parts of his armor slightly from the aura.
Hades was slowly turning red with anger, not only had Hercules fallen from the arena and survived, but now this mortal child? The thought that the dark souls weren't doing their job was infuriating him "How dare you mock me! I am Hades! Lord of the underworld! And I will not me made a mockery of by some worthless, insignificant brat!"
He snapped his fingers and summoned forth Cerberus, who loomed a good ten meters taller than Hades' already impressive height, the rest of his black, three-headed body as proportionate length and weight wise as was his height. "Cerberus, eat!"
Hercules ran forward and caught Cerberus' head as it came charging at Arin, looking back at the keyblade warrior "Go! You handle Dante, I'll take care of Cerberus!" Nodding, Arin rushed under Cerberus' body, throwing his keyblades at Dante one after the other for four consecutive throws before throwing both keyblades at Dante, which came at him like a giant buzz saw "Round two, Dark god!"

The real Dante reeled within, losing control of himself once more. He cursed that Arin hadn't attacked him sooner. Now, he had to suffer through whatever else lay in store. As he could see through his eyes, the entity controlling him speaking to Hades, Dante feared the worst as the god set him down. Hades was much taller than he was. Heck, he had to be twice his hieght or something. As Hades spoke, Dante dreaded what the god was going to have him do. Slowly, Dante turned toward where Hercules and Amaya were, getting his scimitars at the ready.
Amaya was on her feet. From her vantage point, she couldn't really see if Arin had fallen or not. Then, there were fingers. Arin had finally popped up over the edge of the arena with a quick leap that had him now safely on the arena. She gave a sigh of relief when she saw that he was alright. As Arin spoke, Hades turned from blue to red. As he did so, he shouted at Arin to not mock him. Snapping his fingers, a large, massive black dog appeared with three heads. Hades ordered Cerberus to eat them.
"Well, this mioght not end well."
Hercules didn't wait. He charged right for Cerberus and caught him by one of the heads as it tried to charge for Arin. Hercules was going to handle Cerberus and Arin was going to handle Dante. The controlled Dante dodged three of the tossed attacks but got hit in the exposed portion of the right shoulder where the guard stopped just before meeting the helmet. Blood spurted but it was black blood. Like before, it abruptly stopped as the entity forced the wound to heal. Only decapitation was going to kill him.
Then, Arin tossed his keyblades like a buzz saw. They came at him so fast that Dante was forced to bring up his scimitars to try and block them. The impact forced Dante back several feet, his blades weren't going to handle it for much longer. Eventually, Dante was forced to leap away. In response, Dante extended a hand out in Arin's direction. A big wall, about seven feet tall and ten feet wide, shot forth in a straight direction for Arin. It could be avoidable so long as Arin ran off to the side, or if somehow he could fly over the top of the seven feet of the wall's height.

Arin chose a different option. Firing his flame attack and countering most of Dante's flame attack. When the flames were reduced to a weaker state than before, Arin leapt forth and brought the keyblades in front of him "Guard! Arin managed to pass through the wall of flames relatively easily, but the heat of the fire caused his barrier to shatter.
Arin used his blitz raid ability to copy his previous buzz saw attack, hurling the keyblades while Dante was still off his feet, aimed more at his neck now than for his midsection. He continued rushing Dante, summoning his keyblades once he was within striking range, and tried to keep him off balance if possible. Arin wanted to try and end this quickly. But given Dante's skill and use of fire, it's not as easy as he'd hoped.
Hades, enraged that Arin had completely ignored him, was charging up a large fireball, to launch at Arin while he had his back turned and focused on Dante.

The battles that ensued were intense. The worry she had over Arin's and Hercules's sake had awakened her to her senses again. All she could do right now, without the risk of interfering with their struggles, was look on. Forced to watch, Amaya was on edge. She didn't really know what to do with herself.
Arin had countered the wall of flame headed his way that Dante had conjured up. Using his barriers of sorts, Arin managed to get over the flames and to where Dante was. Immediately, he continued to hammer down on Dante. It was clear that he wasn't going to let up as he did his best to keep Dante on the defensive.
Hercules was struggling with Cerberus but his titanic power was what allowed him to survive the battle with the three headed dog. With each snap, it tried to end Hercules's life but the demi-god managed to stop that from happening every time.
Dante, as Amaya turned to look back over at Arin and him, was forced to once again, leap aside to avoid the keyblades. In retaliation, he shot out a burst of flames that reached seven feet ahead of him in the fashion of a flamethrower. As this was happening, Amaya spotted Hades. He was getting what appeared to be a fireball ready and his angry gaze was fixed on Arin! Realizing what the god was going to do, Amaya ran forth clad in her Dragoon armor.
Just as Hades conjured it, Amaya intercepted it with her scythe but it didn't do her much good. She still felt the burn as she winced. "Ow!"

Arin leapt over the flamethrower, throwing his keyblades again while dante was focused on using that fire move, both keys aimed at Dante's neck "You know what the difference is between you and me, Mr. Puppeteer?" He landed to the side of the scorch marks of the flamethrower attack, resummoning the keyblades after his blitz raid attack, and stepping forward to initiate a cross slash attack at Dante again, to push him away from the others, while still trying to decapitate him.
Immediately, he could feel a dense dark void pulling from within his body, and he chose to risk the attempt at what his body was telling him to do. Arin's armor shattered into light, his black coat replacing his protective layer, but Dante would instantly feel a force pulling him closer to Arin, who was hooded, with only Rapture out, and with yellow rings glowing in the darkness of the hood.
"I use my darkness to help others, and stop people like you from destroying the lives of others!"
He launched a wave of black flames to mask his movements, leapt up into the air, and swung at Dante's neck while airborne, hoping that his attempts were fruitful, and that this death match was over.
