Alfred stood quietly as he watched the passing traverse town populace below his balcony, his gloved fingers drumming silently against the banister, and his lime green eyes pin pointing victims to send the heroes of this world into blissful ignorance for his forthcoming plans. Each second that passed by only made his anticipation grow, and the excitement showed brightly in his lime green eyes. There was no one to talk to though, and no one of great importance to hide under while he conducted his nefarious plans. The time was ticking and the watch was loud in his ears. "Tick tock, tick tock.." went the wicked watch in his steady hand. The ticking only made him want to jump into the nearest alley and begin the plan immediately. It wasn't wise though, and he shouldn't jump to such a path right off the bat. Alfred chuckled to himself as he saw a young man, at least of age to be suddenly disappearing and to cause a fuss within the community. "Oh what the Hell..." he said as he snapped the watch shut and placed it back into its hiding spot within his coat. In a flutter of coat tails, Alfred was out of his hotel room, and into the streets. The shadows placing a veil over his body and allowing him to stalk his new prey with ease. "One second, two seconds...Three..." he said in his head as he followed the young man with every step. The man wore jeans, simple shoes, and a brown over coat, his hair was long and flowing gently in the breeze. Finally...The man turned into an Alley. Clearly a short cut home, but Alfred was about to put an end to that. With a swift and sudden movement, Alfred appeared from the shadows and placed his gloved across the boy's mouth. Silently, the butler pressed a long white finger against his lips and mouth "Shh." The boy nodded, thinking if he complied, he'd be safe, but that was not his purpose in life. Alfred retracted his hand back wards and then pressed his flat hand forward like a spear towards the center of the boy's chest. Once the cloth fingertips pressed against the boy's chest, a black heart shaped hole appeared and Alfred's hank sunk deep within it. On the back of the boy, the same heart shape was there, and his heart...was leaving his body. The shell of the boy before Alfred began to twist and turn, darkness consuming the form and creating a large heartless. The heartless itself had long tendrils along the back of its head, and green flames licking along the sides of its arms. Alfred smiled at his work, and made a simple motion with his hand, "Go...and open their hearts and minds."
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Heartless, its body contorted and burning with verdant fire along the long tendrils at the back of its head. Along the arms were glowing verdant fire like blades. It was, in some cases, nothing expected from a normal boy in Traverse Town. It sank into the walls like an ominous cloud, bubbling from its shadowy guise here and there to incite fear. The words of its master sounding off like calls to war. "Cause havoc, and awaken their minds." The black claws reached out into the epicenter of Second District, pulling its body out from the black hole, and letting lose green verdant fire out onto the area. The surrounding populace fled in fear! The Heartless growled and raised its fist up in agitation, calling challengers to the District!

Mere moments after the events that had lead to the creation of the Heartless that went out to cause havoc in the area of the Second District, a bright, fluorescent, white light shined through the narrowed slit of an alleyway. From this bright light birthed a woman clad in all black. Her body tumbled out of the white light, crashing upon the ground, and kicking up a sizable amount of dust. Her hair had fluttered and settled gently over being after the whipping winds from the light had ceased. This young woman was, Himeiji Homura, the genetically engineered super soldier. She lied on the ground, kimono cut, open, and stained with blood. Next to her lied one of her most trusted companions, Winter's Edge.
"That was a tough landing. Glad to see you made it out alive, though, Himeiji. Now, let me take control and I'll get us to somewhere safe." The being known as, Black Heart, spoke sincerely and out of pure worry for the vassel she inhabited. The real Himeiji had been rendered unconscious in the journey through mysterious means, but that wasn't going to stop the steely and stoic personality that was Black Heart from getting a move on. Himeiji's body stirred, starting with her left hand gripping the scabbard of Winter's Blade. Once she felt the finely crafted metal used to create the sheath, Himeiji rose. Slowly. "Damn. He put a lot more stabs into us than we last remembered... Whatever, this is child's play to me." Black Heart told herself, allowing herself to lean upon the stone wall that was next to her. After her eyes adjusted to everything, Himeiji was able to see that she was in some dark, dank, musty alleyway. There was an uneasy silence and the lack of having a proper place to assert her knowledge of where she was, made both beings even uneasier, despite the original being unconscious within.
Black Heart forced the body to walk, feeling the wounds move around and reopen a bit. These weren't hindering to the point of fatality, but moving in them was definitely going to be hell. Her right hand pressed against the wall of the alley and Himeiji walked with a bit of a limp, as she continued out of the alleyway. However, instead of finding some sort of civilization, there were the verdant green flames that had swept over, and started to burn into the buildings that were in the area she was in. "What in the...? Where did we end up now?" No answers were to be had, for it was a rhetorical question. Right now, she had to focus on getting out of there, and in order to do so she took a deep breath, stood upright, and closed her kimono over the black body armor that she wore. After doing that, she tied up her long black locks into a ponytail and started out nice and quietly, hugging the shadows of the walls, and keeping quiet.

Now this is a darkling of unusual power.
The white-and-gold armor crossed her arms, clawed gauntlets twitching in anticipation as she studied it. That fire brings to mind grass and trees... growing things. I wonder if that has any significance to its power? I suppose I will have to find out. I will need to watch the tendrils carefully. She uncrossed her arms, bringing them up in front of her, and eighteen orbs flew out from behind her back, orbiting her. Each of the metallic orbs glowed with colorful energy; six red, six blue, and six yellow. With a sudden flash, she flew up into the air...
...and spiraled down, landing in front of it was a crash. As the dust from her landing cleared, she stood up from her crouch, the orbs spinning around her. Now out in the light, the strange appearance of this armor was clear; her wrists and ankles had small decorations like wings extending from them, her feet were talon-like, and her helmet had a stylized eagle face on it. From the back of her helmet extended long strands like hair, glowing blue.
Her voice rang out across the district. Very well, darkling! I accept your challenge! She held out her clawed hands, and from her forearms shot long three-foot long blades, extending outwards over the top of her hands.

"God, I really hate this place. Remind me again why you're dragging me here? Like, I know you're super into the whole 'Hey, I'm gonna go get drunk and then pay to get pleasured by strange women' thing, but- ." As per usual, the young man's mouth would cause him a bit of pain, getting him popped in the back of the head by his mentor and partner. Giving the old man a bit of a glare, Nero rubbed the back of his head, muttering a few unpleasant words to himself as his partner spoke up. "You're only here so you don't get into trouble, kid. Look, I got a contact in the bar who says he has a few jobs for us, jobs that are up our alley. So, you know, just find a way to entertain yourself." Shaking his head and resting a hand on his hip, Nero would laugh at the man's statement sarcastically, rubbing his eyes with his free hand. "I'm assuming by 'up our alley' you mean your alley, correct? I'm pretty sure our alleys are pretty different here. Your alley is a lot more tainted then mine will ever be." As Nero quoted his partner, he'd do a very harsh impression of the old man's gruff voice, earning him a well-deserved scowl from Trojia as he lit his cigarette.
Before the two could continue their bickering, they had reached Trojia's destination, a run-down bar that looked as if every scumbag in the general area would be inside playing a life-or-death game of poker. Needless to say, it wasn't Nero's kind of place. Giving his mentor a pat on the back, the teen would begin to walk away from the shady bar, his loyal mutt following him as the duo left the old man to do his dirty work. "Hey, if anything happens, just have them send me one of your fingers. I think I'd be able to get the message." Luckily for Nero, he was too far away from Trojia to receive his usual smack for his smart remark, so he would just get an extended middle finger from the old man. Unfortunately, this left Nero in one of his most disliked worlds with no source of entertainment. Well, he still had his trusted dog and sidekick, Koji, but honestly, Nero had spent so much time with the dog, they both seemed bored with simple games like fetch and tug-of-war. After all, once a dog has been in the situations that Nero had dragged Koji in, there just wasn't any fun in anything that was so simple.
Opening the thick wooden door to the next district, Nero would hold the door open for his dog before releasing the door and letting it slam shut. God knows how long his partner would be finalizing the details for his new set of jobs, the only thing Nero could do was attempt to kill time. Seeing that this new district didn't seem to be too busy or active, the teen would slump himself against a brick wall, pulling a thick book out of his satchel and opening it to a marked page. At first, it seemed like this was a district that Nero could maybe read in without being bothered by some stranger. Nero always seemed to attract the nosiest of individuals, and in his annoyed mood, the last thing Nero wanted was a stranger poking his or her big-ass honker in whatever was doing, sadly, Nero's luck always seemed to be terrible. Hearing a voice echo in his ear, Nero would instantly scowl and slam his book shut. "Ugh, I know we're technically outside here, but do people really have to be so Goddamn loud? It's like they announce everything! We all have an inside voice, dammit!"
Plopping the book back in his satchel, Nero would be pretty much ready to leave this rude district, but would be stopped by the sound of his dog's growl. Spinning his pistol out of it's shoulder holster, Nero would aim his handgun in the direction his dog had been growling towards, seeing absolutely nothing. "I think you're losing your touch there, Koj. I don't see any- Sweet Maribelle-Joseph Christ!" From where Nero was standing, he could see a armored person approaching some sort of Heartless Nero had never seen before. Though, Nero wasn't exactly the most knowledgeable when it came to different kinds of Heartless, so that wasn't exactly anything too impressive for this Heartless. Grunting a bit, Nero would look at his dog and raise an eyebrow. "So, about that whole 'losing your touch' thing... yeah, pretty stupid on my part. You know technically, that thing hasn't seen us yet, we could just get the hell out of here."
Getting a strange look from his dog, Nero simply shrugged as his dog ran towards the Heartless ahead of them and skid to a stop at the stranger in the bird-like armor. Unfortunately, Nero's dog didn't pick his favorite option, but there was no way in hell the teen would leave him against that thing with the weird bird-armor person. Keeping his aim on the Heartless, Nero would catch up to his dog, giving the armored stranger a slight glance. "I don't give a crap who you are and I highly doubt you care who I am, so let's not do the generic introduction thing. We both just want this dead, that should be enough information for you." Looking at the beast once more, Nero would glance at his dog and jerk his head to the side. "I don't think there will much you can do to this thing, bud, you just focus on watching our backs." Nero didn't want to even fight this thing period, so having to trust this person enough not to chop his head off was a bit of a pain in his ass, but he could honestly use any help he got.

Alfred stood at a safe distance, leaning behind a chimney stack, and peeking behind to see what heroes would turn up. The first, was a rather young woman who seemed to be lacking in control over her own body. Alfred simply stared, trying to use his own decision making, to see if this woman was someone he could guise under. After the few moments of stumbling, and warily hiding in the shadows, Alfred shook his head in disappointment. Alfred couldn't stick with someone that was like him...Someone who was fond of surprise attacks or keep safe distance...He needed someone more reckless, someone to take the image off of him. The second to arrive, was a shining knight. Alfred let a small smile peek from the corner of his mouth as thoughts of his old world appearing in his mind. A world of knights and magicians, and one he sometimes had fond dreams of. Alfred shrugged quickly, as if trying to push the nostalgia of his shoulders, and focused on what the Knight was doing. She was a hero! IT was clear in the way she stood, and the way she was ready to confront the enemy without a problem. It was a good heart, but Alfred sensed some sort of handicap...It was noticeable, but it was there...He could feel it. Alfred knew that she would be perfect, if not for the glowing valor in her words. It showed that Alfred would not get away with his usual underhanded manipulation. Alfred frowned, a hint of displeasure showing as he kept hidden to watch the show. Finally! It was then that a young man with a dog walked into the district, obviously investigating the noise of the frightened people. Alfred smiled as he watched the boy ready for battle, the dog valiantly standing tall. A boy, is usually easily manipulated. Though, the dog...Dog's do have a third sense and he was half tempted to take that possibility into factor. It was a new world, anything was possible, and the dog might have sentience beyond the ones of other worlds. Another cringe as he also thought of the boy's possible dependency. Alfred wasn't at all ready to take care of a boy, nor put him in the danger that he had planned. No...The boy was not to be hurt by the Heartless or any of Alfred's dark plans.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
he heartless stood, blankly staring with verdant eyes at the golden night that stood before him. It hadn't even noticed the boy till the dog had barked, and even then, the words they said were falling on deaf ears. All it could hear were the string of orders from its master; "Do not hurt the boy, fight without fatal intent." So, as the order came, the Heartless followed...IT turned its intentions onto the golden knight that stood before him. With one swift shadowy movement, the devil shadow moved like a graceful pawn across a chess board. The movement started like a simple move to the right then immediately stretched both arms, covered in green demonic fire, straight towards the armor! The claws were sharp, like spears, and they attempted to penetrate the armor like a verdant knife through butter! The Devil Shadow did as what its master said, and ignored the boy entirely!

[OOC: Room for one more? ;\ For the record, Alfred was planning to accommodate me (somehow ;P)]
It wouldn't take too long before a rather sensitive resident of Traverse Town became aware of the fact that something was going horribly wrong. A surge of darkness overtook his senses, as the chaotic man known as JeY was initially meditating in his room as usual, his current while widely unknown though he appreciated periods of silence like any stressed individual, having had one too many adventures lately. Despite being mostly unmotivated to care too much in favour of being lazy, he just couldn't ignore such a profane shift in balance.
With a simple execution of his ability to warp, JeY was on the rooftop of the inn he frequented (and may as well write as his permanent address) to overlook the origin of the surge of dark energy, seeing an abomination of a Heartless, something new and unique to his vast experiences, had taken over the second district. The masses fled, but initially there was a warrior standing off in front of it. A suit of armor he surely recognized. Liralis. She was the only visible at the moment, but with an enemy like this surely she wasn't the only one around. Closing his eyes, he felt the energy in the air to see if other presences were around.
JeY managed to detect a couple other distinct auras, at least, ones that felt significant enough to take notice of. He couldn't fathom any physical details about their owners as he only detected their presence through energy, and he was merely alerted to their existence, location, and direction of movement should they be in transit. There was something else that stuck out, as well. A dog emerged to the scene, and so did the dog's owner. 'What is a selfish nuisance like him challenging such a creature? Hmph.' Well, it was good to see that his feelings toward the boy had never changed.
Perhaps it would've been the chaotic man's original plan to join a familiar ally and quickly dispose of this monstrosity, particularly by delivering the opening blow of flinging a massive sword made of light energy to embed it in the monster's skull, but maybe he would see how things pan out. This was interesting, he wasn't too particularly motivated to fight or even show off his massive ego at this point, so watching for now would suffice. JeY walked up to the railing on the rooftop, leaned forward and propped himself on the bar with his arms folded and observed. He was far enough away and high enough in terms of elevation where it would be awfully hard to detect his presence with basic, human eyesight alone.

While Himeiji traversed the darkness of the shadows, clinging from wall to wall, she felt the uprising in power. Several distinct energies, stronger, less-subtle than the normal energies who locked themselves away in their houses in fear, had surfaced in response to the chaos caused by the being of darkness. Black Heart, checked the status of her wounds and decided to do what she did best; ignore the pain through mental therapy and get a move on to the fight zone. That creature causing a crisis wasn't unnoticed by her one bit, in fact it had lit up several bad memories all at once. The creature, no matter what color or form it took, it was the same to Himeiji and Black Heart. Enemy.
"I shouldn't be getting involved. Those energies can handle it... But I have the urge to fight. My blood still hasn't stopped boiling since ending His life!" The fire within her burned brighter and Himeiji finally tore away from the shadows. She jumped in-between buildings, quickly climbing in height to reach an appropriate view to gauge the situation. There was a boy, a dog, a suit of armor, and someone far off. All of their energies tugging at her yet one of them didn't come up front to the action, they were hanging back. Black Heart tied the katana around her waist and slid it in and out. The rush filled her after doing so, and an unsteady, cold, calm took over her body. Her eyes narrowed and they focused on one thing only...
"Kill the enemy!" The woman took off, her kimono hugging her body despite the amount of wind beating against her body. She gripped the hilt of the katana with her right hand, charging towards the burning, green, shadowy figure that was attacking the being in the armor. Black Heart summoned six swords behind her, they glowed with a white-wispy ethereal hue. The way how they formed behind her were reminiscent of wings. One of them slowly decayed until it was nothing and that caused her katana to glow in the same light.
After running atop the series of buildings, Himeiji made it to the battle. Whether or not she was lending aid to anybody, Himeiji hopped off the edge of a building, and when she was overhead of the giant heartless at an angle, Himeiji quickly unsheathed her sword. This released the ethereal energy to the bladed edge of her sword and with a mighty swing, she sent out a wide, fast, and powerful slash towards the enemy. She aimed for its head, open to slice any bit of it off with that one slash.

As the claws shot towards Liralis, she lifted up into the air, flying upwards rapidly as the claws crashed into where she had been standing. Her mental voice responded to Nero. Boy, if you wish to fight, I will not stop you. Nor will I go out of my way to protect you. Fight with your own strength and see how far it gets you. Now... Her attention turned back to the Heartless just as someone else attacked it.
She was slightly disappointed; a fight against something like this came around only so rarely, and to match her strength against it alone would've been glorious. However, she would content herself with seeing the strength of the other two seeking to fight it. Her red orbs glowed as they flew in front of her, each one sprouting an energy blade three feet long. With a wave of her hand, the six red orbs and their swords flew towards the Heartless, each one pointing directly at it to impale it.

Shedding a smirk as the armor-clad voice spoke up, Nero would make sure that the title of 'smart-ass' that was normally given to him was in fact earned. Though, just before he could open his mouth, he'd see a new person join the fray, causing him to have to include an insult for said newcomer to the fight. After all, he didn't want to be rude, everyone present deserved a Nero insult. "So, we have a freak with bird-like armor and a creepily pasty-faced chick that makes swords appear out of Goddamn no where. Well, all we need now is a damn clown-car full of freaking ostriches wielding machine guns, then we'll really be cooking with gas." Rolling his eyes as he finished his smart remark, Nero would turn his attention back to the Heartless that he was supposed to be focused in in the first place. Come to think of it, Nero did find it a bit odd the creature didn't go in for a free hit on the boy as he was yapping away. He had never seen a Heartless not take a hit when someone was open, it just wasn't in their nature.
Was he not good enough for this stuck-up Heartless? If so, this thing was just being a butt. If the two weirdos taking on the creature were worthy of it's attacks, there was no way Nero wasn't worthy. Aiming his pistol for the beast's left arm, Nero would begin to unload his clip on it, emptying the clip and smirking as he quickly popped in a fresh clip. "That's right, asshole, I don't take kindly to being be seen as too insignificant for an ugly prick like yourself." After giving the Heartless a piece of his mind (regardless of how unlikely it was to affect the Heartless at all) Nero would continue to fire at the creature with his pistol, attempting to get his attention. Nero would never straight out admit it, but compared to the other two he was with, his weapons seemed to be the least effective to the beast. Well, at least if he was to compare it to other Heartless he had battled.
That being the case, perhaps Nero could earn this things attention, giving the other challengers a chance to get some heavy blows in on this creature. It wasn't much of a plan, but he didn't much of a plan going on here besides brute force. Whistling for his dog, Nero would begin to set his plan in to action. "Alright bud, make some noise and get this jackasses attention. Let's get its attention on us." Patting his dog on the side and grabbing his rifle off of the holster on his dog's back, Nero slid his pistol back into his shoulder holster and instantly knelt down into a crouched stance. Aiming his rifle at the Heartless' chest this time, Nero would fire a few burst towards the creature, making sure not to stray his shots towards either of the strangers fighting it as well.
Hopefully, Nero wouldn't have to spell it out for the other two if he did end up attracting the foe, but he wouldn't be that surprised either. There were plenty of stupid people in the world, Nero could just hope these two were smart enough to see a basic strategy like this if the time did end up coming. That didn't seem like it was expecting too much.

Alfred stood and watched as players entered the the ring! Unbeknownst to Alfred, there was another neutral spectator there. With a simple huff, he proceeded to watch the Devil's Shadow work its magic.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Devil's Shadow stood tall, twirling back into a rather bipedal stance. Suddenly, from above, a ray of light went right towards the back of the creatures neck! It was the kimono wearing woman, and she was clearly open for the attack! It had gotten the Heartless' attention, and he reacted properly by howling violently, and rising with hellish acceleration towards her. Once it was in the air with her, it attempted to swing a heavy kick to the woman's chest to knock her up high into the sky, and as she'd be curve balling upwards, he'd appear again right above her with both shadowy fist clenched, attempting to knock her straight to the ground with one pulverizing smash. This was interrupted though by seven crimson orbs slamming into its chest, forcing it to howl and spiral downward. Creating a large crater where it landed. The heartless only reacted with subtle growling as it got back to its feet, letting the green fire bellow off its tendrils to show its rage! The heartless saw the boy, and gazed at him for but a second, then the imposing will that Alfred was pressuring onto its mind was paining it greatly. "YOU WILL NOT HARM THE YOUNG MAN!" it was violently vibrating in its skull, and thus it turned its head away, even as the clip was unloaded into its arm. Not even a howl, it was going to follow orders! The Heartless then felt another push on its mind, "Destroy the buildings...Kill some innocents. We need more heroes." With the command throbbing in its head, the Devil's Shadow turned, and raised a palm towards a building. The shadowy palm began to charge with sickly fire, rising into the size of a cannon ball. Then, with a loud break of the sound barrier, a flaming ball of green fire piled through a building! Then, the heartless turned to the golden knight, aware that she was the one who stopped him from killing the odd woman, and roared. The roar sounded off for a few seconds, till the throat of the beast began to glow with the same verdant destruction that he just unleashed on the building. Suddenly, from the maw of the beast, a gout of lime green fire began to bellow outwards towards the knight, and follow her for a few minutes if she ran.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Alfred couldn't help but smirk at the heartless as it followed every order. What an obedient pet it is...
Alfred decided it was time to play the roll of fighting alongside the heroes down there, and dropped to the floor in a flicker of coat tails. After brandishing his pocket watch from his breast pocket, the Red Heart's fabric brightly shining in the lamp light of the district, he began to channel a frosty spell towards the heartless, "Ice!" he said as a ginormous spire of frost grew in front of him. It flew straight, like a spear of frozen hate, towards the beast and attempted to jam itself into the monster's chest, hopefully exploding into a dozen jagged spires.
(OOC: Will be posting the success of Alfred's spell in the next post)

It seemed the majority of the presence that was detected had made its way toward the new enemy. Certainly is was the lust of darkness skulking in plain sight that gravitated the hearts of those could contend the darkness, whether or not everyone's views aligned or a sense of sharing was in the focus of the various fighters, each individual shouldered some responsibility. Everyone contributed what they could bring to the table while minimizing cross-fire and conflict. It was an art really.
JeY used to fight on a team. Before his days of the Shadowbeing realm, he often grouped up with those he closely aligned with in his life through friendship, common cause, or otherwise. In order to save his best friend's life and seal away a certain darkness for good, he had no choice at the time. It was to band together or to be swallowed up by the consuming forces. However, a certain 'teammate' changed his life forever.
Now he couldn't care less about another soul on this planet. He had been through all of that nonsense and even went through a phase where his humanity threatened to return, but being rejected by something he thought he could trust? It shattered what little chance there was for the boy to have regained his human form to also regain his humanity back. The ability to feel emotion again. the ability to care. None of that was possible in this selfish man anymore.
Now he was just afraid. He knew something bigger was coming for him. This Heartless was merely a coincidence, but JeY liked to look at it like a dumb test. Just how easily would the fighters below be able to deal with this enemy? He expected to have to intervene eventually. He'd rather not deal with Nero again, but he would get to see Liralis again, except she met him back when he was playing nice to deal with the conflict raging in his soul. There was another person too, she seemed pretty capable, but he wasn't interested.
Even more so, there was another who joined the latest. JeY barely caught the ice spell beginning to form. He had been there the whole time, but only now went to fought. Now that was interesting to the chaotic man, hardly a girl springing fro the shadows. Though, how would JeY look, having been around just as long but waiting even longer to join the fray? No, he wasn't joining yet. He didn't have time for this, but in all truthfulness, the sooner this beast was slain the easier it would be for him to concentrate on meditating later. He just... wanted to see. Just for now.

Black Heart watched as the Heartless was able to shake off her attack, though she knew it was effective to a point. She didn't flinch one bit when the beast accelerated at her with that stunning speed. The woman wasn't used to something like that, however, she knew never to underestimate the enemy. Only kill it. She absorbed two more swords and granted herself Sword of the Devil. She was granted a level of Haste and Temper, furthering her over all strength and increasing her movement speed further. The beast thought of her as open to attack, but with these boosts at her disposal, Black Heart was able to flip right over the kick in mid-air.
"I will not falter!" Not skipping a beat, Black Heart quickly landed on the beast's leg. A moment was all she needed to take off in a wicked boost of speed in a plot to punish the creature for trying to kick her. Himeiji ran along its leg with stunning speed, delivering slash, after slash, after slash upon the beast's leg. Due to her movement speed being increased by her blade and by the recently granted Haste, she was delivering 5 slashes every one strike she landed upon its leg, aiming to either cut deeply into it, or right out cut off the leg. The night sky around the area would have been lit up in the beauty of the moonlight and vibrant lights that the flames were giving off, as they reflected off Himeiji's glistening blade. She continued to run all the way up its leg, body, and eventually kicked off its shoulder. Around that time, that was when the beast was struck down by six red swords and plummeted towards the ground.
Himeiji, still airborne took a quick note of the battlefield, seeing the beast completely ignoring the boy, and only focusing on her and the suit of armor. However, there was a man who appeared seemingly out of the blue, casting ice magic towards the flaming beast.
"This will end it!" The assassin took this as her moment to absorb two more swords and granted herself Sword of the Angel, then kicked off the air, and dived towards it. With her speed boosted twice and her positioning right over the beast, she launched herself towards it, spinning in the air like a speeding bullet, and aiming to drill through and slice the beast in half with her powerful attack and motion. (Note: this next attack is dependent on the Heartless being distracted by the others while she is heading towards it in mid-air).

Hmph. Pitiful.
The six red orbs flew back, swords withdrawing back inside of them, as Liralis responded to the creature's blast of flame. Not by dodging out of the way, of course, but instead the six blue orbs flew in front of her, energy connecting them to form a large hexagonal shield. The flames simply rolled off of the sides of it around Liralis. With a single thought, the yellow orbs flew forward, splitting up into groups of three, each one forming into a triangle of yellow energy much the same way that the blue one had. One yellow triangle flew to the Heartless's right, while the other hovered above Liralis's head.
The red orbs, likewise, flew towards the Heartless's left side, forming into a red hexagon. It was almost like a dance, the way Liralis deftly controlled each set of orbs. While her armor was powerful on its own, it was the extraordinary mental power that made her such a dangerous opponent... and it was likewise the same thing that had allowed her to survive past the death of her body.
In an instant, the red hexagon broke apart, shards of red energy flying outwards from the orbs towards the Heartless. Meanwhile, Liralis raised her arms up, pointing the swords directly upwards into the flames flying past her, the blades heating up... before the yellow triangle above her flew down. As her body passed through it, swords-first, she emerged from the other one next to the Heartless, flying at it swords already swinging.

Talk about being out-classed. Watching the others use their overly flashy moves, Nero's face would be left with a disapproving scowl. Something just wasn't right to him here. No, it wasn't the fact that the Heartless wasn't being fazed by his bullets, he was quite used to that, there was something the Heartless did that raised the boy's suspicion. After he had littered the beast's arm with bullets, it gave him a glance, something he was very happy to see at first, but then saw the creatures head turn away from him, looking slightly in pain. Nero may have not been an expert on the shadowy creatures known as Heartless, but he had never seen behavior like this in any Heartless he had encountered before. This lead him to the theory that this Heartless wasn't entirely acting on it's own. Sure, most Heartless seemed to love causing chaos on their own, but then why was this one ignoring such an easy target? Whether or not his theory was correct, Nero was more set on getting this damn Heartless' attention more than anything now. As childish as it was for the boy, this treating him like he was just a spec of dirt was really getting to him.
Though, Nero's train of thought would be broken by the sight of this butt-face of a Heartless taking aim towards a nearby building. As would be expected, the building looked to be no match for the mass of fire the Heartless had shot towards the building, resulting in a stray plank from the building being shot out from the impact and slamming into the back of Nero's head. Gritting his teeth, the teen would rub the back of his head, looking even more annoyed with this freaking Heartless. "How the hell did you even manage that?! It's totally against the laws of physics. Ugh, jerkweed." Aiming his rifle at the flame-ridden creature once more, Nero would switch his rifle to automatic, jerking his rifle to various points on the foes body in an attempt to see which area could possibly get this jerk's attention. With how dedicated this thing had been on ignoring the boy, he'd need an awfully tender or weak area to make the Heartless to break his streak of ignoring Nero. Unfortunately, only two ideas entered the boy's mind: it's eyes and right between it's legs.
Seeing as others were attacking the Heartless as well, it made the eyes seem a little too easy to have a friendly-fire incident as a target, which left him with the less favored target. Popping out the old clip in his rifle and slamming in a fresh one, Nero would take a deep breath before putting his silly plan into action. Honestly, he wasn't even sure if a Heartless was even weak in that area. Heck, he wasn't even sure if his theory that the creature was being told or forced to ignore him by something was even correct, but this beast pissed him off just enough to test the theory.
Getting a running start, Nero would slide between the beast's legs, aiming his gun at the beast and holding his trigger down until he emerged from the other side of the Heartless. Kicking himself on his feet and turning around in a quick motion, Nero would continue to fire his rifle up it's back, not letting go of his trigger until his clip had emptied. Popping in a new one, Nero would switch his rifle back to burst fire, continuing to fire at the Heartless' back in an attempt to get it's attention off of the other two, who seemed to be doing a much better job of actually harming the foe. If anything, perhaps Nero could maybe get another stare from the Heartless, giving the other two enough time to maybe sneak in a hit or two, but he wasn't even sure if this thing would acknowledge him in the slightest at this point.

The heartless felt the pain rush through its body as the knights attacks sunk into the shadowy essence, and the ice that came its way spired through the black essence and dislocated an arm! The heartless roared in pain and stumbled back, some of the essence returning to its body. It felt the pain of the bullets spraying from Nero's gun, bleeding his essence rapidly, and becoming one hell of a threat, but the nagging orders of the master could be heard, "Direct your attention to me..." The heartless struggled for it was weak, and looked to Alfred. The ice had done hellish damage, and Alfred's command was clear... "Make me bleed..."
The heartless roared and charged Alfred, green fire bellowing off like a destructive and sickly furnace, and he attempted to bring down the butler in one fell stroke! As the green fire began to roll off its body, it attempted to strike all that were within close range of him, attempting to attack him physically, and attempting to dispell the attacks that were heading its way, and countering the others. Though, Himeji may still get the strike in before Alfred is struck!
Alfred, perfectly feigned a surprised face, and stumbled back, growling in preparation to defend. Within his own mind though, he was enjoying the rage displayed by the Heartless, sure enough, this one had some sort of feeling still. The willful push backs were a good sign that Alfred was getting stronger with his ability to create his own Heartless.
(OOC: Wasn't sure if you were striking a fatal blow or not Himeji. To everyone: this guy is about to die really fast.)

The main thing the chaotic man seemed to notice was the fact that the Heartless had a hard time making up its own mind. One thing he knew for sure from past experiences is that the creatures normally have a tight focus - they see an enemy, lock on, and attack through its own calculated pattern. This particular being just... went ahead and did everything rather randomly without even having a good reason. Going to attack Nero and stopping, then instead of even switching to another hostile target it knocks itself into a building?
Something didn't make sense. Getting a grasp for the collective energies in the area, he couldn't identify anyone clearly controlling its intent. Any energy signature JeY considered worthwhile was all right in the district, actively engaging the monster. Something didn't seem right at all here. There was no way such a corrupt and indecisive Heartless spawned of its own volition acted the way it did. Somebody thought ahead and is clearing themselves of any incrimination; but who?
JeY immediately ruled out Nero and Liralis, having had contact with them before, and being fully aware of their lack of capability of the sort. There was the girl with the sword, which would have seemed likely except for the fact that she was definitely more actively engaged than someone else he could account for. That would actually point to the gentleman who cast the ice spell off to the side, whom the Heartless was now actively engaging. 'You slipped, dude.' While it was true that the Heartless tried to kick the sword-wielding girl, that was fairly convenient. Turning to attack the other gentleman... definitely not. Last that that happened, the thing tore down a building.
There were two outcomes here. The monster was either truly a staggering anomaly in all of the function of Heartless, or this guy was the cause and sole manipulator for some reason or another. Well, there was one way to find out!
Suddenly, a huge sword made completely from light energy came in like an escaped rip-saw, flying in at high speeds in a vertical spinning motion, attempting to catch the beast's shoulder right about where the neck was as it moved toward Alfred. The surprise and overall power of the attack would likely cause it to stagger or sit in place, stunned from the shock, just long enough for the girl to execute a very powerful finishing blow. If one looked into the direction from where the massive sword was tossed, they would see nothing.
Instead, JeY instantly appeared behind the gentleman and attempted to grab him from behind and put him in a position where his arms were immobilized. Being incredibly strong and rock steady, breaking out may prove difficult, but should the man avoid him or otherwise be free by any means, JeY would materialize his other Zweighandler with the intention of pointing it at him and declaring for him not to move. "You have a lot of explaining to do. Playing dumb will only make this harder." The initial declaration would be a bit bold and assuming, but JeY was looking for a particular response. If Alfred truly was innocent, there would only be one valid reaction here (in JeY's opinion). Anything else would paint him as guilty, no questions asked. JeY didn't particularly care about who or how, he was just curious as to why. And, only curious, at that.

(This is a fatal shot. She's drilling that thing in half).
Himeiji was granted the window of opportunity needed to connect with her drilling attack, thanks to the help of her temporary allies. The woman hit the Heartless right on it's head, spinning furiously and continuing to push herself through it body. With her buffs, Himeiji was able to do this with no problem. The assassin was able to cut through the beast, slashing it's entire gigantic body in half, and literally tearing it a new one.
After the hopeful destruction of the Heartless, Himeiji landed by planting her blade into the ground, and performing a handstand upon its handle. She then flipped off of it, using her foot at an opportune time to kick the sword up and out the ground, into the air, and then back into its sheathe. Himeiji was ready to thank, asses the damages, and thank everyone for the help, however, there was another conflict appearing in the form of two of her allies. One tried to grab the other and even started to interrogate him. Black Heart, who was still in control of the body, just stayed silent and waited for the outcome of this conversation.

Liralis flew back from the Heartless as the sword-wielding woman began what was obviously a fatal strike, her orbs flying back to her and any connections they had formed to each other fading. They lined up in a circle of alternating colors, hovering behind her back and slowly turning; as close to a 'neutral' position as she had for them. She landed on the ground, swords vanishing into her arms once more. Disappointingly weak, even accounting for the rest of you. She remarked out loud, shaking her head and turning towards them...
...only to see two more people she hadn't seen yet. She hadn't actually paid any attention to the arrival of Alfred, but she quickly dismissed him from active consideration to note, with pleasant surprise, the arrival of JeY. She knew from experience that JeY was more than powerful enough to have wiped out that Heartless in an instant; after all, he had defeated her during their last encounter.
JeY. She gently inclined her helmet, respect filling her voice. A pleasure to see you again.

Spinning his rifle and resting it on his shoulder, Nero would give the Heartless a smug smirk, nodding his head towards the beast as the female assassin took a mighty powerful blow on it. Well, he may have done the least amount of work taking down this bad-boy, but he didn't even want to fight this thing in the first place, Koji did. Looking down at his dog, Nero would signal for the two to head out of the area, but the dog would become instantly still, letting out a low grumble and looking towards the man who had shot the ice spell earlier. Nero had seen the man after he threw out the spell, but he didn't pay him too much attention, as he used a magic spell and Nero hated all forms of magic and magic users. Though, it wasn't the man Koji made the noise towards, and once the teen heard a familiar voice enter his ears, he knew exactly what his dog was looking at. Really? This asshole again? Nero really did have the worst luck imaginable. Hell, he thought the other two he had fought the creature with were odd enough, but JeY made them look a million times better. Well, it seemed Nero's opinion on JeY hadn't changed either.
Resting his his free hand on his hip and shaking his head, Nero let out a sarcastic chuckle. "Of course." Clipping his rifle on his dogs back, the teen would glance over at JeY while opening his book he was reading earlier. ""As usual, I see you were sitting back with your head up your ass, just waiting to jump in and save the day even though you really weren't needed. Good to know somethings don't change." Judging by their last encounter, Nero was pretty much certain that JeY wouldn't care about Nero's insults, as the two had pretty much grown immune to the insults the other provided, so he wouldn't be entirely useless in his comments towards the man. "Still, you were able to figure out that the Heartless seemed to be controlled, so I guess you're still slightly above-average in the brains department. So, you know, kudos there."
Still keeping primarily focused on his book, Nero would glance up at his fellow Heartless fighters and the man now being interrogated, as he had a slight interest in what was going on. After all, Nero had the theory someone was pulling the strings for that Heartless earlier, and hearing that he could very well be right, well... that would just give the boy a nice boost to his ego (a very much unneeded boost at that.) Though, looking up at the two who had battled with him, he'd give them a half-assed smile, holding up one of his hands and wiggling it back and forth lazily. "Oh, and you know, go team and all that crap." Clearing his throat and turning back to his book, Nero would keep his ear open towards everyone involved, the look on his face still appearing very disinterested

The Heartless felt a sudden flash of light, and looked towards Alfred. It was a dark command he received, and as he died, he looked towards the boy. The heartless reached out, as if asking for help from the boy. Alfred had commanded it in fact. "Reach for the boy, he is your new master." The heartless began to crawl with the only left over body it had left...An arm and a head, for the kimono woman's attack had destroyed the rest of its essence. Just as it finished crawling towards Nero, it cried something "Why?" in a rather dark voice before disappearing.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Alfred watched as the creature crawled to the boy, and then looked up to JeY. It was a look of shock, and he was legitimately shocked as the man was quick to figure out the situation revolving Alfred, but...Maybe the last command would help him ease himself out of the situation to at least get this man to converse alone. With that, Alfred resumed his look of surprise towards JeY. "Y-you...You saved me?" Alfred removed himself from JeY's grip, and knelt before the man with the great swords. "I am forever in your debt, my lord." Alfred's hair swung low, and guise his face from the others. A mighty grin was under the jet black veil. "My lord, if there is anything I can do to serve you..."
The longshot wasn't that long, and the situation would show that whatever was wrong with the Heartless, well it was probably not controlled or as controlled as one would think. Alfred held the kneeling stance and waited for the others to go ahead and start the interrogating or whatever they felt was comfortable.
