Character Gender: Female
About the Character
Character Personality:
Evia is quiet and distant, by choice. She doesn't typically prefer to interact with others, but doesn't necessarily keep them away on purpose; she just never makes the choice herself to actively engage. She sees little reason to socialize, while speaking of objectives, making deals and requests, and answering questions are all valid reasons to interact with others, she'll rarely strive beyond those boundaries.
This lack of general interest makes her socially incompetent and naive at most places, and since she can still feel attracted to others or even have a rare spark to somehow know more about a person, she's not the best conveying it. She also takes words at face value - until someone royally cheats her, she's bound to simply believe what anyone says or engage in shady deals without really knowing ulterior motive of those trying to manipulate her which is awfully dangerous. Since she's secluded however, these things rarely find her regardless. One window that will be particularly devastating is if she ever encounters love and heartbreak; which she hasn't yet, but she's in for a world of hurt when she does.
Character Appearance:
Evia has bright, almost orange hair at just over shoulder length, which she usually keeps in a ponytail tucked to the side. There are times she lets her hair flow freely but she feels messy if it's left down without a reason. Her complexion is flushed and peachy, along with the sense that she doesn't tan well. Her eyes are a bright emerald color and sit evenly on her face, with a small nose and average mouth. She often has small non-hoop earrings in as well.
Her build is small but somewhat muscular in order to control her weapons well, standing at about five feet three inches and weighing one hundred and eight pounds. Her chest is about medium sized, nothing to keenly noticeable and her arms and legs are evenly proportion to her torso, though with hands and feet just tad larger than her frame would suggest (though hard to notice without direct comparison).
Most of her body is covered in flexible, skin-hugging cloth or leather depending on just how flexible the spot needs to be, with ornaments of plate mail keeping her lightly armored but armored nonetheless. Her breastplate covers most of her upper torso, the arms are fully covered except for the elbow, her hips have plates on the outside, front and back, and most of her legs are adored in metal as well except for her knees. Finally, she has metallic greaves except where her foot and ankle meet for added flexibility.

Battle Statistics
Character Position: Lawful Neutral
Character Abilities:
\passive\
1==Precision: Evia has exceptional aim. She is able to make accurate judgement of distance when estimating or using her weapons. She's not perfect, but because she is so perceptive, she can adjust for error quickly.
2==Scrappy: Despite having rigorous self-training with her weapons, she knows her hand-to-hand very well. Her swords have a tendency to break due to their nature, thus having a good handle on being able to engage without them is almost mandatory.
3==Nimble: Even with all that armor, this girl can truly move! She doesn't have any unnatural or god-like speeds, being a mere human, but one wouldn't expect someone like her, while wearing plate mail, to be able to bend flexibly, flow like water in movement, and be able to jump gracefully around the battlefield as she can.
4==Armor: By wearing plate armor, average melee weapons and natural projectiles will not puncture her skin without a very heavy spike and very dramatic stopping power behind the attack. Without being beaten directly however, she gains resilience and can take a bit more punishment. This doesn't stop momentum, so she can still be bruised, receive hit-stun, or be toppled/knocked back. This effect applies to most of her torso and lower body, as the sides of her ankles, elbows and entire head are exposed.
\active\
5==Grapple!: With a little bit of rope and some sort of curved blade, anything is possible! Quick thinking allows her to use a thin coil of very strong line tucked away in her armor with her throwing axe, which can be thrown as far as any natural human can throw a small axe. It takes her time to retrieve everything and set it back up in order to use it again, however. [3 post cooldown]
6==Draw!: A crossbow bolt fired directly upon the crossbow being deployed will have twenty five percent more stopping power. As convenient as her wrist crossbow is however, it’s not the best way to rapid fire. [1 post cooldown]
7==En Garde!: Evia will focus intently on parrying. There is a good chance she will deflect or dodge the next physical attack or combo that comes her way. [2 post cooldown]
8==Hamstring!: Assuming the area isn't guarded with armor her blades can’t penetrate, Evia will attempt to double behind her opponent and use a low slash to cripple their legs. If successful, the opponent will have their movement, if they use their legs for it, inhibited by fifty percent. [4 post duration; 5 post cooldown]
9==Decapitate!: A critical move of hers, Evia starts with her elbows bent in front of her, then gets a running start and punches both arms forward creating a powerful scissor effect that is capable of severing limbs, if not, at least cause a high amount of slashing damage if successful. This can pierce most armor not made of metal as well, but piercing armor negates the ability to sever a limb. [Severing is up to discretion of opponent. 3 post cooldown]
10==Beatdown!: Usually when she’s in a pinch or needs to gain an advantage, Evia will come up sideways and start a jumping flip kick, both of her swords slashing downward in the same direction opening the combo as she lifts herself into the air, finishing with kicking with both legs in sequence while both heel stilettos extended. This typically topples the opponent with her swords as a mean of disrupting her opponent’s balance and the double kick exhibiting a strong push. [3 post cooldown]
11==You Missed!: Despite her plate mail armor, she can still move pretty well. While this can’t be exhibited too often or she’ll wear herself out super quick, she’ll be able to quickly dodge a high hit by rolling backwards or to either side and spring quickly to her feet for a counter attack, or dodge low attacks with a back or side flip, able to attack immediately after planting or mid-air if its advantageous. This difference between this and a standard dodge is having a much more distinct counterattack opportunity. [2 post cooldown]
12==Bully!: While in hand-to-hand combat, if Evia managed to strike a blow that makes the opponent vulnerable from knockback or hit-stun (or attempts to), she will attempt to follow up with a series of ten fast-paced strikes aimed at areas to keep the opponent off-balance. The goal is to drain the opponent of stamina with a high volume of hits that is difficult to break out of. Evia will be difficult to block or counter-attack against during this combo if the first hit lands successfully, and then follow up with a strong kick or punch intended to topple the opponent. [4 post cooldown]
13==Execution!: With her spear in hand, Evia will attempt to vault herself high in the air with the blunt end in order to crash down on her opponent with either the sharp end of the spear, her shoulder, or a sword blade. Evia can launch her spear at the apex of the jump for a twenty percent bonus in projectile speed with the help of gravity, if it lands, Evia will be able to land the jump attack attack much easier. [3 post cooldown]
Character Weapons:
Dual Wrist Swords: These segmented blades, packed in both wrist guards so they extend over her hand, are light and compact and fit nicely without being seen. At a moments notice, Evia can make the right gesture the release the guard which allows the blades to fully extend. Reversing the gesture locks the blades at their current segment, meaning her blades can vary in length from a couple inches to four and a quarter feet. The segments get wider as they extend more as well, making the blades triangular but only slightly. Because the blades are connected to her forearm and gain nothing from wrist movement, they are better for stabbing.
Heel Stilettos: Sharp, five-inch points can extend from either or both of her heels, which are controlled by a gesture in her ankle.
Forearm Crossbow: Instead of a normal wrist guard, she has a very bulky and more circular plate of metal around her left arm. The top can actually be released and two bars arc in opposite directions, forming a small crossbow on her wrist. Due to the size, shots fired don't have the best of range or the greatest stopping power, but because the bolts are so slim and compact they move deadly fast. There are thirteen bolts loaded at any time, which are reloaded by Evia releasing the folding belt-like clip around her wrist and slapping on a new one like a slap bracelet, except from underneath. The bolts load automatically and are fired by a particular finger gesture. The bolts themselves are half the size of a normal crossbow bolt, made of pure silver, with very small rubber fletchings.
Longinus: Retractable Spear; it sits on her back as a segmented bar that can bend freely with her as much as her armor allows her to. When needed, Evia simply flips the top lock on the base of her shoulder and the rest of it unlocks automatically. When extended and whipped forward, the bar snaps into a seven-foot pole with a very sharp tip. A lock on the bottom can be released to burn it back into a flabby bar that snaps carefully snaps at the top, allowing the rest to lock in place.
Throwing Axe: Strapped to the outside of her right thigh is a another slightly thicker but much shorter bar with a similar behavior, though it doesn't bend as freely since it typically wouldn't need to. Once released, a curvy, sharp axe head pops out of the side and is customized to float straight through the air and balanced around the center to spin appropriately when thrown. She has no magical way of retrieving this, but has many more where that came from. Unfortunately, only three or so are on her at a time.

Character History:
In Evia’s early years, she was considered to have some sort of autism due to her low interactivity with other kids, always preferring to play by herself while living in some fantasy world fabricated in her head. Her middle-class family could afford therapy, but all of the local doctors were trained in medicine of the body, whereas treatment of the mind was hardly necessary since many of those considered ‘mad’ were locked up in an asylum together. Evia wasn't considered mad, just peculiar, but she was informed by a knowledgeable doctor that her style of behavior is not unheard of.
Her parents had to wait for a travelling clinician who conducted behavioral studies, who always visited their small town every couple of months. The session went well and her parents were instructed of everything necessary they should do or try to get their daughter more interactive. She was given constructed goals to be social, which she actually found herself quite engaged in, but it never quite made her want to go and be social herself. But, she was interacting now at least, and her parents believed that one day she would open up when she was more mature.
Her interest in taking up sword play however didn’t come in until she was about nine, when a bully humiliated Evia and riled her up, and when she got mad and tried to fight back albeit physically, she lost from her pathetic attempt to overpower the other boy. She hated that feeling of being beaten and being so incapable of defending herself. To squash the possibility of ever being beaten again, she tried to convince her parents to learn how to fight.
Despite how peculiar this seemed, since her parents were unaware of the bullying, they thought martial arts would be a great opportunity to interact with others and even get into some competitive events, which they wholeheartedly supported. By thirteen, she had received two black belts, won a kendo championship and received very high marks in her class with throwing weapons. This would be the beginning of her fighting career.
When Evia caught wind of a very highly-regarded tournament for a sport called Struggle from a distant traveler, she saw it as an opportunity to further herself by competing in a foreign competition that was unknown to her. When she got to Twilight Town however, her world turned upside down. She was exposed to two things that changed her life however: magic, and Heartless.
From there, Evia honed her training and learned that it was far easier and cheaper to acquire new equipment here, since adventurers were rather commonplace and there was plenty of business and demand for the goods necessary to vanquish dark creatures. She did have some decent money, and instead of buying typical sets of equipment like a basic long sword some sparring armor, her funds allowed her to explore customized equipment. All it took was finding an eccentric and enthused blacksmith who recognized her talents. From there, her very own custom suit was designed.
In a year of practicing and applying this custom equipment, she took note of improvements she wanted or adjustments she thought she needed to be made, honing her style into the distinct powerhouse that it is today. She will never claim that her equipment is perfect or that her training is complete since she believes there will always be another unique situation which will test her limits and exploit some great weakness, just as there always has been.
