After the short trip they made from the Olympus Coliseum to the Sorcerer's Loft, Arin and Amaya had left Dante's body to be preserved along with Stella's. Now, here they were, resuming their journey in finding the remaining two Dragoons and setting them free from the entity that possessed them. As they stepped out into this world, Amaya had to jump back in response. She had just stepped out onto a ledge that was very high up!
"Whoa!" Amaya exclaimed, looking downward.
Where she could easily fly in her armor, it had still surprised Amaya enough to leap back after being on the very edge of the platform they had come out onto. It looked like they were standing on the platform of some sort of very large construct. Just where were they? Amaya had to peer around in wonder. There was some sort of bright light coming from somewhere above them.
Then, there was a loud clang to announce the time. They were standing just under a gigantic clock from the sound of it. Amaya had to cover her ears in response to the loud clanging bells above them.
"Damn, that's loud."

Arin looked around when they emerged from yet another world jump, noticing that there seemed to be a very big height difference from other buildings in the distance. Immediately, he could tell that they were very high upward, which was quickly confirmed by Amaya "Yeah, might be a good idea to keep away from the edges, Maya, or stay near one of the supports. I'm sure you can fly just fine with your armor, but I don't want to take any chances."
He walked over to one of the support blocks on the edge, looking out and seeing just how far up they were from the other buildings "Holy shit that's high!" He suddenly was caught off guard by a sudden loud clang, covering his ears and dropping to one knee as he leaned his body against the support. Once the deafening sounds of the clock were silenced, he couldn't quite hear anything, his ears still ringing. He looked over to see Amaya talking, and did what met people who couldn't hear do, he shouted loud enough so he could hear himself talk past his temporary deafness.
"WHAT?"

Amaya was deafened just as much by the sudden loud clang. After having heard Arin mention sticking close to the wall behind them or the support, she had done so. She had armor on and could easily fly but right now, she didn't feel like going aerial. Then, the loud clang happened. It was rather deafening.
Then, Amaya had said something. Of course, in their situation, it was impossible right now for either of them to hear one another. She wasn't even sure what Arin was shouting then. It looked like one word. Naturally, Amaya repeated the very same word that Arin had said.
"WHAT? I CAN'T HEAR YOU!"
It was a wonder nothing else could hear them up here shouting like they were.

Arin could barely hear Amaya's shouting like dull mumble, straining himself to try and hear her, but still unable to completely understand her "I CAN'T UNDERSTAND ANYTHING YOU'RE SAYING!"
While Amaya and Arin were dealing with their temporary deafness, someone was floating just out of sight, watching the two shout at each other.

Amaya frowned over at Arin, as she tried to understand him. What he was saying came out in a muffled and incoherent string of words. She furrowed her brows, trying to understand but she just couldn't. The ringing in her ears was too great at this point.
"I STILL CAN'T HEAR YOU!" she shouted at him, unaware of the floating figure that was watching them just out of sight. A certain brightly lit individual that was peering down at them from around one of the pillars, looking curious. She was marginally smaller than they were and wore nothing but a light green dress. The insect-like wings that were light blue and transparent in color gave away that she was some sort of faery or pixie.
While the two were shouting, she shook her head at them before flying upward to find her much larger, green clad friend.

Arin was growling irritably, waving his hand in dismissal as if telling her never mind. Closing his eyes, he tried to center himself, to reclaim his sense of hearing. He didn't notice anything shiny flying around, even though he looked in the direction of the figure, just as she disappeared from view.
After a few minutes of recovering, he finally could hear the wind blowing, and he snapped his fingers near his ear to test his hearing. Thankfully, it did, and he sighed in relief
"Amaya, can you hear me?"

Amaya could see the annoyance written all over Arin's face. She was equally annoyed, frowning over at him. Arin had waved his arm in dismissal, signaling to forget about it for now. Amaya remained quiet, thinking it might help her regain her hearing or at least some of it. That loud clang had been well...loud. She hoped that she wasn't going to be deaf for the rest of her life. That would suck.
While the two were trying to recover their hearing, the small pixie managed to find her large, green attired friend. As soon as she reached where he was, she flew in front of his face making a series of gestures as she tried to communicate to him about the strange people. As she did so, there was a sound like that of chimes and bells. The pixie language wasn't understood by human ears but this figure could understand her after having spent so much time around her. She did raise him, after all.
Amaya finally heard Arin after a moment and let out a sigh of relief. "Thank the light, I can hear! I'm not deaf for the rest of my life." She turned to him and nodded. A clear look of relief on her face then.

"Good, at least we can still hear one another. It would really suck if first we admit our feelings to each other, then we can't talk anymore due to lack of hearing." He chuckled, blushing softly, before getting to his feet and looking over the edge of the tower to get a look at their environment. Everything around them looked blurred and hard to get any detail from because of how far they were.
"Just where the heck are we?"

Amaya gave a slight chuckle in response to what Arin had said. "Yes, that would really suck. Thankfully, it didn't happen."
Arin went quiet and approached the edge of the platform they were on to look down at the ground which was far below. Amaya didn't dare go near the edge since it was dizzying. Then, Arin asked the million dollar question. Where the heck were they?
"I don't know."
Then, there was a light that flew before them. Something that had caught Amaya's eye. Looking toward it she found something that was flying before them. It wasn't easy to make out but she was sure she saw the figure of a very tiny woman with wings in that light pointing at them. It were as if she were pointing them out to someone else. Sure enough, a larger figure floated into view. Amaya blinked, not sure what to make of it. It was a boy younger than they were by maybe a few years clad in green. How the heck was he flying? He gave them each a curious look before looking over at the pixie.
"Were these the guys you said were making all of that racket, Tink?" The pixie nodded vigorously as the kid turned toward them again. He rubbed his chin, as if in thought with one eye closed as he inspected Amaya and Arin. He looked them up and down, puzzled.
"You know, you're right. They don't look like they're from around here. Maybe they know Sora?" he said to Tinkerbell before looking at them more fully. "Do you two know Sora?"

Arin sighed heavily as once again, that same name was mentioned. It was honestly starting to both confuse, and irritate him. Still, this boy didn't seem to have any ill will towards them, so he had no reason to get hostile yet. He figured it wouldn't hurt to find out who this boy was, or who Sora was for that matter.
"Sorry, we don't know anyone by the name of Sora…Though the people we've met know him somehow, maybe you could fill us in on what we don't know?"

Amaya looked at the two floating before them. How were they even doing that? Well, the light fairy thing, she could see had wings so that explained her. Yet, how in the world was her friend floating? He didn't have any wings from what she could see. Nothing but green attire. He looked normal...aside from the fact that he was floating.
This young man had asked them if they knew Sora. Amaya shook her head as Arin answered him. The youth's face fell a little but not in disappointment. "Huh, well sorry then." When he was asked about who Sora was, the youth beamed at Arin. "He's our friend. He uses a key as a weapon. He's helped us save Wendy and the Lost Boys!" Peter answered him.
"And who might you two be?" Amaya asked them.
"My name's Peter Pan. The pixie here is Tinkerbell. Say hello, Tink!" Peter urged the pixie on. Tinkerbell didn't seem too keen on greeting the newcomers. She had lingered next to Peter and when he had urged her to say hello, Tinkerbell hadn't bothered to move save for spare them a glance, one that said she wasn't as enthusiastic about it, and gave a wave that didn't even have much heart in it.

Arin listened to the boy, who introduced himself as Peter Pan, talk about Sora. Apparently Sora was a friend of theirs, someone who used a key-like weapon to save some other people that Peter knew "A key…" Thinking it over for a while, he reached out and summoned his keyblade, the gold, black and white metals shining dimly in the moonlight. He held it up for Peter to see.
"Something like this, you mean?"
His attention wasn't much on Tinkerbell's apathetic greeting, mores on the knowledge about Sora.

Amaya looked over at Arin. This Sora sounded like a keyblade wielder of sorts. As Arin went into thought at Peter's words, Amaya brought her gaze back toward the floating beings. Then, Arin summoned his keyblade. Amaya looked at it and then back over to Peter. There was a look of recognition on his face as Arin asked him if Peter meant something like that.
"Yeah! It looked like that...only it looked a little different."

Arin nodded and recalled his keyblade, pocketing his hands as he looked at Amaya "Well, we know Sora is a keyblade wielder at least. He looked out at the scenery below again "So, Peter Pan, exactly where are we right now?" He turned to look at the floating boy again "And how are you flying without wings?"

Amaya glanced back over at Arin when he had stated that they at least now knew that Sora was a keyblade wielder. Amaya just gave a nod in response. Were it possible that they might run into this Sora? There was a chance but Amaya didn't think they would run into him. He did seem to get around though. Most of the worlds they have been to had mentioned Sora.
It wasn't long before Arin turned his attention back onto Peter Pan and Tinkerbell, asking the boy where they were and how he was floating with no wings.
"Well, you're in the adult world. This is London."
Peter Pan gave a chuckle when Arin had questioned him about floating. "It's called flying...and how I'm doing that is thanks to my faith and trust in Tinkerbell's pixie dust."
"Um...you mentioned this is the "adult" world...what do you mean by that?"
"You guys sure do ask a lot of questions! Well, no worries. What I mean by that is here, you can...ugh, grow up but why would you want to do that when you can live forever in a place called Neverland and never have to grow up and never have any adults tell you what to do?"
"Neverland? What's that?"
"The world where I live along with the Lost Boys. No adults live there...well, except for the pirates that are lead by Captain Hook. I wouldn't get too friendly with them, they're not very nice. You never age there and its magical. I can take you guys there if you want?"
Amaya looked over at Arin then. "What do you say?"
(OOC: Feel free to control them to Neverland if this helps you.)

(Nah, go ahead. I got too much on my plate to do too detailed posts atm anyway. I'll try and make productive posts, but the rest is up to you to lead the plot until I finish with my classes.)
Arin thought it over, listening to Peter explain how he was able to fly, and his offer to take them to neverland (where there are MORE mermaids xD). The prospect of never aging seemed like an interesting perk to this world, but was living young forever really a good thing?
"Well, I'm still in my teen years, but technically, I'm an adult, albeit a young one. If you don't mind a young adult accompanying you, I wouldn't mind checking out this Neverland you speak of." He scratched his head nervously "Though, you're gonna have to run me through the steps of learning how to fly like yourself, I'm kind of a beginner here."

Amaya waited to hear a response from Arin. She rolled her eyes. The only one here who might be too old would be her. Still, she wasn't going to let Arin go by himself. She could fly via her armor if she had to. Peter looked at them thoughtfully.
"Hmmm..."
"Don't worry about me, I can fly just fine." As she said this, Amaya summoned her armor and to the air. She bemusedly looked over where Arin was, scratching the back of his head nervously. He was the only one that couldn't fly.
"Don't worry. All you need to do is have faith and trust...and...Tink?" Peter said as he looked to his pixie friend. She rolled her eyes and darted for where he was. She went around him, tossing dust all over him as if she were throwing snowballs. Once that was done, she flitted back. "Alright, now step off the ledge. You gotta believe!"
Amaya wondered if Arin would really believe Peter on this one. She got ready to dive down just in case he didn't immediately take flight.

Arin closed his eyes when Tinkerbell started throwing dust at him, letting her cover him with the stuff so he would be able to fly. Once she was done, Peter told him to step off of the ledge, raising his eyebrow at Peter cautiously as he walked toward the ledge. But before he stepped off of the edge, he looked at Peter "Exactly why do I have to walk off the ledge to fly? Can't I just do that from on the ledge itself?"

Amaya watched as the pixie finished tossing her dust onto Arin. When that was done, Peter Pan was instructing him to walk off the ledge to fly. As Arin gave the boy a skeptical look, he approached the ledge. Before he would step off of it, Arin looked back over at Peter again and asked him why he had to step off the ledge and can't just fly from the ledge itself.
It was clear that Arin didn't like the idea of leaping off ledges.
Peter gave a chuckle in response. "Aw, c'mon! You're not telling me that you're scared?" came Peter's response. "All you gotta do is think of happy thoughts and you'll fly! Give it a try! Jumping off usually helps jump start it!" Peter told Arin.
Amaya tried to refrain from smirking at that moment as she flew up a little to get a better view. She had to see this one.

Arin faced the ledge again and looked down, trying to fight the slight vertigo that being so high up was inflicting upon him *Happy thoughts…Yeah, like I'm FULL of those…* He looked back at Amaya, uncertainty still in his eyes, and practically begging for her to be ready in case he couldn't fly. He then leaned forward, and let himself fall face first from the top of Big Ben. He closed his eyes, trying to think of any happy thought that could get him airborne.
For the longest time, all he could think of was all of the bad that happened in his life, the loss of his home, waking from a dark sleep only to breathe life into an even greater darkness that hunted him tirelessly, and haunted his dreams, even the time when he almost lost his ability to wield a keyblade. He even started thinking of this tragic headhunt that he was accompanying Amaya on, and how sad it was to kill her friends to save their souls. It was at this point that Arin was a mere dot in the distance to Amaya and Peter.
Then, his mind went back to Amaya, and the fun times they shared. He remembered their heart to heart talk back on Hollow Bastion, how he convinced Amaya to return to her home world and confront her grandparents. His mind wandered through the peaceful memories they shared on this dark quest, and one group of memories in particular repeated again and again in his mind. Those memories brought a smile to his face, and he suddenly felt his body slowing down, until he came to a stop in midair. He slowly rotated in midair until he was right side up again, looking below to see the buildings in the distance, then looking up to see just how far it took for him to learn how to fly. Laughing softly, he did a backflip in midair before shooting back up into the sky, a huge grin on his face.
