The Darksides apparently decided to attack together, each one swinging a fist the size of a small car at David. Unfortunately for them, he decided to jump into the air just before the fists would have hit. The results were rather funny, as the massive Heartless ended up hitting each other instead, while David laughed from twenty feet up. "Not the brightest bunch, are you? Still, I think you've caused enough dam-"
David was interrupted as an Aeroplane Heartless tried to ram him. The key word was "tried", since it only succeeded in getting itself sliced in two. It did, however, annoy him enough to attract his attention. "Alright, time to clear the skies! Twilit Sickle!" He swung the pure Twilight blade, launching a sickle shaped blast of Twilight across the sky that annihilated about a third of the Heartless, then fell back to the ground just as the Darksides were recovering.
His keen ears picked up Skyler's words just as the Darksides wound up for another attack, and he shouted to them as he deflected yet another two fists. "You two stay put! These two are going down NOW!" He jumped into the air once more, then pulled all of his Twilight energy into a beach ball sized orb at the top. As he fell again the orb was absorbed into his right arm, which began glowing a vivid purple. Finally he landed fist first with a mighty roar. "END OF TWILIGHT!" The energy pulsed into the ground an instant before it violently detonated, engulfing everything within 20 yards in a massive explosion.
When the dust cleared a few second later the Darksides were completely gone, as well as any of the remaining flyers that had been low enough. The only evidence they had ever been there was the two massive hearts rising into the sky surrounded by a swarm of smaller hearts. In the center of the crater stood David, now back to his normal form and brandishing the Shattered Sunset again with a lopsided grin. "You see why it's a good idea to follow rules sometimes?"

Siris felt like a bull rider, as he was flung about the battlefield. Suddenly, the thing stopped quickly, and he was tossed to the ground. He landed roughly, lying there for a few seconds, before his focus came back to her hand being offered to him. He took it, pulling himself up. He looked about, and then at the two Darksides. As she offered to go and help, Siris held out his arm to stop her.
"Ah, maybe we should just watch, for now..." He was right to do so, as the two Darksides were thoroughly decimated, as well as some air heartless, near him. Wind gusted past the two of, Siris shielding his eyes for a moment. As the dust settled, he let out a "Woooooah...." as the crater was displayed, and the heartless were destroyed. He gave Skyler a knowing look, his insides churning with jealousy, terror of his power, and longing to wield that power for his own, for the good of mankind, of course. He quickly turned about, as the battle was not completely over. A few Soldiers re-emerged from the darkness, oblivious to the crater and their destroyed commanders.
They didn't last more 15 seconds.
As Siris pulled his sword from the neck of the last soldier, he struck his sword brutally through it's neck, kicking the headless body to the ground before it dispersed. He let out a few breaths. Their battle had certainly taken a toll on the environment, yet despite his efforts in battle, he wasn't as tired as he felt he should. He looked down at his hand, holding his sword. First, he jumps incredibly high, now he's even -more- durable? He shook his head, before running to the center of the clear district, as the other two would no doubt finish their battles.
"Is everyone okay?"

Skyler was both filled with awe and envy. She was highly jealous of David's power. She wanted to be able to hold such power. Also, this power he had made him seem that much more attractive to her. She gazed at him as he knocked down those two Darksides. His abilities were in fact impressive, he had her sold. However, she also wanted to punch him in the face, because he seemed so cocky. It fueled her envy and aggravated her. She was definitely attracted to him, but he aggravated her. She saw the Heartless taken out by David and Siris clearing the weaklings. Siris was approaching David, and Skyler followed. Once she approached David, she slapped him hard on his arm, "You could have let us help, but you had to be such a boy, be all 'macho!'" Then, she sighed lightly, "but you are pretty awesome at fighting." Her aggravation was fading slowly. Then, she turned to Siris and reached for a hi-five, "Siris, you did pretty great yourself!"

David looked down at Skyler in confusion as her hand bounced off of his armor. Why does she think... His thought was interrupted by the realization of what she meant, and he rubbed the back of his head in embarrassment. "Sorry, I just don't like seeing people get hurt." His eyes grew serious as he spoke. "My world was lost three years ago, the entire planet reduced to ruins. My sister, my best friend, and I don't want anyone to go through what we had to. Being one of the only survivors of an entire race is a burden I wouldn't wish on my greatest enemy."

Siris looks at Skyler, somewhat confused at her outburst. He looks at her, shrugging an arm at her. "Would you rather we were tasked to take one of those beasts down? I could barely handle something a quarter it's size." Although he would've enjoy a bigger challenge than bull rising a Large Body. He looks at David as he speaks of protection. Something he could agree with, deeply. As for losing a planet, he could sympathize with that, having fought and lost against the darkness that swallowed his planet. Then a thought occurred to him. He tilted his head at David.
"Wait, if Radiant Garden returned from the Darkness, couldn't your world, and your people?" He narrows his eyes at David. He looked like a normal human. He didn't see much through the purple glow, but he saw the hair change and the twilight magic. "Is this... Power you have related to your race? What even are you?"

Skyler was beginning to realize that she was wrong about David, he wasn't just being an arrogant, one man show. He wanted to protect them, for them to feel... Safe. This wasn't a word that came often to Skyler, she always felt she were in danger. She hadn't ever had anyone to protect her before, she was always the protector for her family. It felt weird that he was protect her and Siris. He was definitely a good guy. From that moment, she saw a more vulnerable boy who was trying to be strong for the people he wanted to protect. She could really connect with him at an emotional level. He may even go beyond, at least she had one more blood relative out there, he didn't even have that. The thought really depressed her, which displayed in her expressions. How could he stay strong like he does? It didn't destroy him, in fact, it seemed to drive him...drive him to help others, so, their fate wasn't the same. He had definitely earned her respect. Siris had as well, he still seemed to have kept hope after losing his home and family. She felt like he was very kind, strong, but naïve, like a younger brother. It was as if he had been living in a bubble for years. He seemed a little out of place, but he a also seemed to be trying to adjust. He needed guidance just as much as she did. She was learning that they all needed one another. For safety, protection, hope, the feeling of belonging. She was halfway listening to Siris and David's conversation. She was focused on how great these guys were, she just smiled whole-heartedly at her two new-found companions.

David's eyes dropped as he considered Siris' questions. "My world actually did come back, but it was better off lost. The Nobodies came shortly after it reappeared, and slaughtered everyone the Heartless hadn't. Now it's nothing but a barren wasteland and rubble." He sighed as he forced his grief back again. "As for my powers, my world was Celderat. All Celderatians are born with the ability of control an element, and learn how to control it they age. I was an special case, because I control two elements, a condition called Duality. Having two elements within the body usually kills the person, so I am the first Duality in 500 years to survive childhood, and the first ever to gain an Aspect Form."

Siris listens closely to his woeful tale. He would've ask further if those who died were truly lost, but that would a question for another time. He scratches his chin, thinking to himself for a moment. This young man before him was certainly remarkable, not only with his weighing burdens, but his specialty among even his own people. This only further irked Siris' pride, standing before someone who not only outclasses his strength, but also his race and experience. He swallowed that all down as petty thoughts, though. He wouldn't succumb to such terrible thinking against someone who had not only saved him, but had chosen to lead him home.
As his thoughts turned to home, he remembered his last dream, before the attack began. Gods, how long it had been since he had last slept. His empty mural, the unreachable voice, and the encroaching darkness upon him.(See character sheet for scene.) Maybe his path wasn't to return home yet. Before him were two people that were knowledgeable in their own respects about the universe, a chance for him to branch out from being just a store assistant, or a vigilante. He could BE SOMEONE, with these people.
He coughs, before turning his attention back to David. "I see. You handle the elements of Darkness and... Light?" Light. Something that Siris always clung to. Perhaps he could do more than just follow along with these two elemental users. He looked down at his own hand. He had cast a spell, earlier, thus proving he had the capabilities for magical use, but calling forth Light, and using natural magic, were two completely different things. He looked at David. "Are these abilities, ah... teachable?"
He looked at Skyler, who seemed to be lost in thought and smiling at the two of them. "You look happy about something."

"I'm happy to have met the two of you." Skyler smiled, she embraced each of the boys. "You're both pretty great." She looked at David, "I'm sorry that I misjudged you, you are really noble and you were trying to protect us. You are so strong, it's so admirable, you're like a perfect hero!" She smiled and gave a friendly peck on his cheek. Then, she turned to Siris, "You are most definitely vigilant and brave. You take on challenges that may be beyond you and didn't know we were going to help you. You're courageous," she lightly pushed him, "and stupid," she chuckled, "but very brave and that also makes you a great hero in my book." She gave him a friendly kiss on the cheek as well.

David summoned a small ball of Light in his right hand and a matching ball of Darkness in his left. "I've only met three others who had the potential for acquiring something like an Aspect, and one of them was due to a curse. Normal Elemental manipulation is completely teachable, though it could be tough at the beginning." As he spoke, a dark red Gummi Ship flew overhead before landing nearby. He grinned as he took in the sleek, narrow cone of the main body and the swept back wings that curved forward before ending in guns, then waved for the others to follow as he quickly moved over to the side of the cockpit and a hidden ramp lowered.
Inside was exactly as he remembered, with steel flooring and panels everywhere, only broken by the simple black of two joysticks and a few colorful buttons in front of the pilot's seat. Two more seats sat just behind and to either side of the pilot's, and an inset door lay at the back of the room. David sat before the joysticks, but instead of grabbing them he spoke, seemingly to nobody. "User Identification Mizan. Artificial Intelligence Activate Mode One." A few screens slid into view from hidden slots in the panel, then a female voice spoke through the speakers. "Artificial Intelligence Aura is online. Greetings David, it has been one year, 3 months, 4 days since you were last on the Alyson."
David's grin grew slightly as the familiar routine came back to him. "Yeah, it's been quite a while."

Siris raised his eyebrows at Skyler's reply to his question. She was very hard to predict, going from mad to happy on a dime. He watched her kiss David on the cheek, somewhat leery of her intentions and her heartfelt compliments, rolling his eyes.
"I doubt there is such a thing as a perfect hero." He listened to her compliments towards him, somewhat surprised by her choice of words, blushing as she had embraced and then kissed his cheek. He coughed, rubbing the back of his head as he tried to conceal his cheeks matching the color of his eyes. He looks back to David as he explains his aspects, nodding. He opened his mouth to speak before the gummi ship landed in the middle of the shattered third district. His mouth gaped at such a creation, he was at a loss of words. He moved into the ship with David, admiring the paneling and the all the buttons, wondering what each did. He looked at the three seats tilting his head. Others must've travelled with him before.
He jumps as the voice announcing itself, looking left and right before staring at the front console where the voice emitted from. He listened to it voice the amount of time since he had been on the ship last. He looks uneasily around, before his eyes stopped on Skyler.
"This is... Some sort of vessel?"

Skyler watched the large, red vessel in complete awe! Did she just die and go to heaven? She had to pinch herself to be convinced it was real. Skyler was passionate about Gummi ships, especially the high-tech ones. How the hell could David afford this? It was humungous, most definitely swift, and it spoke.. It spoke to David, it was amazing. Skyler's adrenaline filled her body as she exclaimed, "Wow! How did you do this?!" She looked around the ship, and she must know what made this tick. "David?" She sweetly begged, "can I please see what's underneath the hood?"

David chuckled as he pushed a series of buttons that raised the ramp and sealed the ship again, then stood up and walked over to the door at the back. "I don't think you'd be very excited to see the AI's black box. Aura, set us into low orbit with the cloak on. While you're at it, scan these two in as approved. The male is Siris, and the female is Skyler." The AI was silent for a moment before responding by quickly lifting off, the inertial dampeners masking the rapid motion from within.
As the ground fell away, David activated the side panel that opened the door, revealing a hallway with two doors on each side and another at the end. "Welcome to my ship, the Alyson. I'll show you around. On the left we have my bedroom first, then the bathroom. On the right is the other bedroom, which has two twin sized beds, and the kitchen. The room at the far end is the engine room, but we'll save that for last since it's a bit toasty in there right now."
David walked into his bedroom, which was somehow about half the size of the hotel room. Unlike the rest of the ship so far, the floor was covered in a plush tan carpet. Every inch of the walls was either a shelf, cabinet, or drawer, with half of the left wall devoted to a large collection of fantasy and science fiction novels. Against the back wall was a full sized bed with black sheets and a black and grey comforter with three red stripes and gold dragon accents. A rather out of place licence plate rested in the shelf above the bed, alongside a picture, which he tenderly grabbed and gazed at.
The picture showed a teenage David with blue-gray eyes standing next to a pretty teenage girl with platinum blond hair and eyes so blue that they seemed to glow, and a well dressed teenage boy with a cocky grin, red eyes, and long black hair. The picture seemed faded, as if it had been left outside for a while.

Siris' eyebrow twitches in annoyance as he was ignored again. It was sometimes hard to figure out everything for himself, but as the doors close and he heard the wind-up of the vessel, he knew this was a ship for travel. On what proportions, that was beyond his understanding currently. He watched Skyler walked past him, asking something about what was under the hood. Hood of what?
The unfamiliar motion of rising, even as the dampeners turned a force that would push his body to the ground to the feelings of a rising elevator, still caused Siris to fall to a knee and get motion sickness. He waited in the main pilot area for a moment, listening to David explain the layout before standing up, keeping a hand on the walls and what hand holds he could find as he made his way to where they were. He walked around Skyler, placing a hand on the doorframe as he peeked inside his room, and seeing him admire a picture. Two additional seats, a room with two beds? Siris was more concerned now. Had this man lost his comrades as well?
He cleared his throat. Only one way to find out. He looked at the picture once more. "Friends of yours?"

David blinked in surprise as he noticed Siris next to him, then nodded. "This is my sister and our best friend. They are the only other survivors from our world. I keep this picture here to remember how our lives used to be before all this happened." He placed the picture back onto the shelf before turning back to Siris. "Now, let's get ba-"
He never finished his sentence, as a Corridor of Darkness opened below both of them. Time seemed to slow briefly as he fell through, and he quickly pulled a note from his pocket before he tossed it at Skyler. Then he was gone, and the portal closed. The note had a single line on it:
AI Access Password: Dusk Till Dawn

Siris nods, letting out a small breath as he heard that David's companions were still alive. Suddenly, the floor beneath him disappeared, and he fell, turning his head to see Skyler, holding out his hand to her. "No!" The opening into the ship closes, and he and David descended into darkness.
