Damien had been watching everyone's progress since they came here. It was odd, being the leader of a group meant to take care of the conflicts going on in the worlds and what evil forces that might appear. He used to be a leader to a group before but he wasn't the head honcho. He never wanted to be, anyway. At that time, he just wanted to please who he had believed to be his father. Ivan, the man that had taken him in and raised him, had only been using him. He never had been Damien's father. In fact, he had taken Damien from his family when Damien was too young to remember and brainwashed him. The evil deeds that Damien had done had been because of that. Even now, the memories still bothered him. He had believed he was a hero back then but in reality, he had been a monster.
Damien wasn't worried about the others finding out. That's not what kept him up at night. No, what kept him up at night was the memories of the torment he endured years before this Organization had been created. Ivan had put him through a lot. The scars were quite evident on Damien's chest, stomach, shoulders and all over his back. Although his chest was bare, sitting here in the artificially made hot springs, it wasn't easily noticeable. Yes, there were clearly scars but the steam and level of the water made it difficult to see. It was a mixed gender hot springs, one where people were required to wear swimsuits. Damien wore swimming trunks but they weren't easy to see underwater and in all the steam that filled the air.
Currently, Damien was leaning his back on a large boulder in the center. He hoped that if anyone else showed up, they wouldn't be able to find him here. Honestly, he had come here to relax and to get away from all the work he had to still do. He planned on getting back to it all later. Besides, Soah and Claire could handle the recruits on their own just fine. He trusted his Co-Founders enough to not destroy the place in his absence. Well, he wasn't exactly absent from the HQ but he was technically hiding away from them all to relax.
Unfortunately, it didn't last very long. Damien opened his eyes at the sound of the somewhat distant doors to the place opened up and closed, announcing the arrival of someone else in here. As he looked over, an eyebrow raised, he spotted one of the soldiers that also resided here aside from the members of the Organization. He wasn't dressed like the members, adorned in plain armor with no markings on them. He was looking directly at Damien. Noticing Damien was looking right at him, the soldier saluted him.
"Sir! We have a message from King Wilder. He has requested our aid. He says it's urgent!"
Damien furrowed his brows and sat up. "Aiden? What does he want?" he asked the soldier. The soldier just shrugged.
"I'm not sure, sir. He has requested we go to the Land of Dragons immediately. We have one of his officials on the communications monitor."
Damien found this odd. Normally, Aiden would personally contact him and not send officials to seek him out. Wondering what this was, Damien stood up. He was adorned in just a plain pair of swim trunks with a navy blue strip running down each side of it. Instead of choosing to open a portal, Damien chose to wade through the hot water toward the artificial shore. It looked like a genuine hot springs until someone reached the shore. There, the shore had a railing for people to hang onto as they descended or ascended a set of small stairs into or out of the water. Damien's towel was hanging there.
As Damien climbed the steps, the soldier waiting for him to exit the hot springs, it became more apparent that Damien was at his peek physical condition despite the old wounds he had written all over his upper body. His arms and legs, too, seemed to have scarring but they were minor and barely noticeable. The more prominent ones weren't actual cuts into the skin but jagged, like lightning. As if someone had electrocuted Damien several times as a sort of torture. The soldier couldn't help but stare at the scarring in astonishment. Damien ignored it as he simply grabbed hold of his towel, used it to wipe off the water and sweat from his face and wrapped it around his waist. Since his trunks weren't very long, only reaching to his knees, they did not run longer than the towel so now he had the impression that he was just running around in a towel only.
"Alright, thank you for the notice. Alert every one of the recruits as well as Claire and Soah, tell them to get ready. Tell them all to meet in the Communications Room." With his orders given, Damien watched as the soldier headed out then tore open a portal. Since someone was on the monitor, he didn't have the time to change into his usual attire so he had no choice but to head there in his current state looking like he was just wandering around in a towel. Man, this was not what he wanted. Oh well, can't be helped now as he stepped through the portal and into the Communications Room. There, the main monitor was open. Well, not in the fashion one would expect. It was called a "monitor" but what it really was that generated the image was a magical jewel of sorts with a transparent surface. Whenever someone contacted them, the image burst upward and took shape like a monitor of a screen almost except the edges were wispy like smoke. It was a face Damien didn't recognize.
Taking sight of Damien, the official cleared their throat. "Sorry to disturb you at such a time but the King says it is...urgent. We have a bit of a problem with some vampires. We are not quite sure where they have come from but we need the aid of you and your...Organization." The official took that moment to look at Damien and whoever else may have arrived on the scene before furrowing his brows and lightly shaking his head as if he was uncertain or didn't approve of the sight that met his eyes.
"More details will be given upon your arrival, Sir Damien Stark...and company," the official finished before the image was lost. Now, it was just them and Damien.
