Random Character Notes (Add anything extra here): Nero can't use magic. He is kind of just a normal guy with some serious training. Oh and his last name is pronounced “Blue.” Another thing to take note on is that Nero's guns are not fatal in this universe, he doesn't know why. Nero also has a negative skill that I call “Clumsy Fortune Seeker,” which basically means he can drop items in his bag and even one of his weapons.

About the Character
Character Personality :Nero is an interesting case. He has a lust for historical treasures and adventure and lucky for him the two go together. Nero is normally a pretty nice guy, although he is often a smart-ass and sarcastic. He normally has his own goals and sticks to them but if someone is deeply in need of help, he'll abide. He doesn't anger easily, but insulting his father or Koji is a quick way to make his temper flare. Nero hates being labeled as a "pretty boy," which he gets a lot. He also hates being labeled as a thief. In his own words "I'm not a thief, I simply take things that people are to afraid to get themselves." Nero also cannot stand laziness in the slightest, it drives him crazy. Nero hates the idea of innocent people being harmed and will always try to avoid that outcome if possible. He is by no means a hero and will normally only do things that benefit him. That said, he does sometimes have random outburst of heroism. Nero is very reckless and is not afraid to put himself in harms way to get what he wants. However, he will never put others well-being on the line for what he wants. Nero is very pessimistic when it comes to having faith in others and prefers to do things himself. Humorously, he has the up most faith in his own abilities even though he fails often. Nero seems like an ordinary treasure hunter from first impression, but in fact is much deeper than that. He truly is a good person, but in his life he has learned if you stick your neck out there enough, eventually it will get cut. Nero is a quick thinker and always comes with a make-shift back up plan as things normally do not go his way. He is a bit of a womanizer and will often hit on them or call them names such as “Doll,” “Sweetheart,” or “Honey.” Nero is not professional in the slightest and will normally crack under pressure spurting out curse words or rants. Nero uses very child-like insults against his enemies such as "butt-head," or "piggy." Nero has a knack for history and can identify many artifacts time period of origin. He will often make historical references that he will get a slight chuckle out of, but normally no one else will. Nero rarely introduces himself as "Nero," he will most likely just give the person his name as "Bleu." Eventually, he will give people his first name once he trusts them. He is extremely unlucky and anything that can go wrong, will go wrong. He is extremely comedic and can find humor in just about any situation. He has a deep fear of snakes and heights and it sometime immobilizes him. Oddly enough, he is also very uncomfortable around frogs. Nero unfortunately says one-liners appropriate to the situation.
On top of all his other quirks, Nero has a bit of an ego and a pretty big attitude. Unfortunately, these are two features of his that often get the teen into trouble. Despite his light demeanor and sarcastic ways, Nero is incredibly smart. His ability to read most people and his observation skills are likely to catch some foes and allies off guard, as he is usually looked down upon for having no specific powers. At times, Nero seems downright sadistic, often finding some enjoyment out of someone else’ suffering. Granted, this person normally had to have been against Nero in some way, he's not just twisted. Though, in the off chance Nero does take a liking towards someone, he could very well be considered one of their most loyal allies. Nero would never betray someone who has put their trust in him, even though he may seem like the type who would. Although it normally seems weird to others, Nero will often talk to his dog as if the dog actually understands him, which only makes it seem stranger when it appears Koji does in fact understand what he is saying. Nero is also one to mock other's, usually imitating their voices (and doing a rather good job of it, in most cases) and using it to insult their intelligence. He is a grudge-holder and does not take orders from others very well, as he has a hatred for authority. Despite his level of intelligence, Nero could easily be labeled as immature and childish at times, often disagreeing or disassociating himself with others over the most petty of reasons. As much as he hates it, Nero can also be very sympathetic towards others if he can relate what they're going through or have been through, leading him to make a choice to help certain people.
Koji is Nero's dog and side kick. Nero has great trust in Koji and Koji is even involved in many of Nero's attacks. Koji is very protective of Nero and will get uneasy if Nero is even gently touched. Nero and Koji mean the world to each other and don't separate often. Koji hates being talked to in a "pet voice," Nero knows this and talks to him as if he was a person. Koji usually steals all the attention of the females the duo meet, much to Nero's disliking. Koji hates being called cute, parallel to Nero's hate of being called a pretty boy. Koji is normally the reason Nero ever preforms a selfless act. He will whimper or growl at Nero to show some compassion towards people and Nero will abide. Koji has trust issues around strangers and takes every newcomer as a threat until proven otherwise. He is very child-like and often whines about the situations Nero gets the pair into. Koji is asked to stay behind on some of Nero's outings, which he hates, but he would never disobey his partner. Koji is a well behaved dog and usually talks to Nero through gestures, which Nero has learned to understand over the years. Loyal to Nero until the end, he would follow his buddy into certain death if it meant being at his side.
Character Appearance: Nero is a semi-pale skinned teenager who is about 6'3 and weighs 160lbs. He has a muscular-slim build and dark teal eyes. Nero's hair is dark brown almost black and is almost to his chin. It is normally a little messy. His hair is normally parted to the right, but will hang down in his face during combat occasionally. Nero also has a thin chin strap beard with a thin mustache that does not connect to his beard. He normally has light adventurers stubble on his cheeks and neck. Nero has a button nose that is slightly pointed upwards (very slightly.) Nero had freckles as a child, but now only has remnants of them on his face and arms. Nero is normally seen smirking to fit his cocky demeanor. He always has his fathers ring around his neck on a chain. The ring has strange relic-like symbols on it. Nero wears it around his neck to honor his dead father and the fact that his finger was too skinny for it. Both Nero and Koji have a scar on their bodies, both are not easily visible. Nero's is on the back of his left leg, being covered by his pants most of the time. Koji's scar is on his under belly, only being visible when he lies on his back of sides. Nero has 4 basic outfits
Normal Expedition:A army green henley shirt with 5 buttons all buttoned down, sleeves rolled up a little below the elbow. He has a crème colored long sleeve t-shirt underneath the henley and it can be seen at the end of the rolled up sleeves and through the buttoned down buttons. Light blue jeans with no pockets going down the legs, just the front 2 and back 2. The jeans have a semi-baggy style, to be easier to climb in. This goes for all his pants. Nero has a light brown shoulder holster on his back that makes an “X” on his back. The holster has the word “Bleu,” engraved in the center of the holster. Nero has a light brown belt with a gold belt buckle. The belt buckle has a silhouette of an eagle with it's wings spread on it . He has a light brown leather cuff watch on his right wrist with an orange face and silver numbers. Nero has a light brown side pack dangling from his belt that holds his clips and notebook. Last but not least he has thick, bright green canvas sneakers with black soles and laces. Much like the converse brand, but much thicker. Both Nero and Koji have a scar on their bodies, both are not easily visible. Nero's is on the back of his left leg, being covered by his pants most of the time. Koji's scar is on his under belly, only being visible when he lies on his back of sides.
Arctic Expedition: Nero wears a black, hooded, slim-fitted winter coat with white fur lacing the cuffs and hood. Nero wears the same style of jeans, just a bit darker blue. His ring and watch are still on him, just not able to be seen. He wears dark green and black snow boots and has black finger-less gloves on. Teal snow goggles can be seen hanging around his neck and he wears them if he is out in a bad snow storm. Same holster as before, just under the jacket. Side pack is also is on this outfit.
Desert/Hot weather Expedition: Nero wears the same watch, ring, side pack and holster. Nero wears a beige 5-button down henley shirt with 3 buttons unbuttoned. He wears a dark teal and white Arabic scarf with Arabic patterns and beads on it. He wears brown cargo pants and military issue desert boots. He wears the scarf like a normal scarf when there is no harsh wind or too bad of heat. When the wind is harsh or the heat unbearable, he covers his nose and mouth with the scarf and wears black and teal sunglasses that are in his side pouch.
Casual/Tropical wear: This is an outfit Nero wears on most islands he visits or when he is going to an area he doesn't expect to run into combat in. However, despite being an outfit that he uses for casual wear, he still carries his pistol, watch, holster and side-pouch, but Koji will normally not have his holster or Nero's rifle on him. Wearing the same jeans and shoes as his normal expedition outfit, Nero wears a dark blue baseball raglan shirt, with the sleeves being rolled up to his elbows. He also wears a matching baseball cap with this outfit, but can choose to take it off if the sun is not in his eyes. The baseball cap has a blue silhouette of a pine tree on the white area on the front of the cap, the bill and back of the hat and the color of the baseball shirt itself. This shirt is referred to by Nero as his lucky shirt and if in the unlikely event he ever runs into someone from his home town, this would be the outfit he'd be most recognized in.
Koji is a black German Shepard with a little bit of light brown on the ends of his legs. He wears a teal bandanna around his neck and has yellow eyes. Koji wears a leather holster much like Neros, only his holds Nero's AK-47. Koji is up to Nero's waist on all four legs and up to Nero's shoulders on two legs. Koji's holster is very thick and hides a few surprises besides just being able to hold Nero's rifle.
Battle Statistics
Character Position (Hero/Neutral/Villain):Neutral
Character Abilities (Maximum of 15 abilities allowed - please write your abilities in list form, starting with name & then description):
Adaptable: Nero uses things in his environment to attack opponents. He can knock down structures, blow up vehicles or even zip-line off wires into opponents using his AK-47 or his climbing ax as a handle. He can't do anything too ridiculous, he is just a human after all, so nothing that a human couldn't do. Though, Nero can also use his environment for defensive purposes as well. For example, if there's a lot of cover in an area, Nero can use it to either hide behind as he fires or just hide from pursuers. If a foe is able push Nero to an area without anything for him to use, this ability will be rendered useless.(Passive)
Monkey Man: Using a combination of his free running and free climbing skills, Nero can traverse many structures and dodge attacks if need be. Nero's rifle is unusable when climbing, but his pistol can still be fired when hanging or climbing. If there is a way for Koji to make it to the area where Nero has made it up to, he'll find it. Nero can climb with his rifle, but it can't be fired. Climbing with his rifle requires the boy to hang on to the rifle with one of his hands, leaving him only with his free arm and two legs. Climbing this way is significantly slower. (passive)
Tough S.O.B: In his line of work, Nero is used to taking a bit of a bruising and has proven to be able to take a lot of punishment over his adventures, especially considering the fact he is just a normal human. Of course, this excludes any possible threat that is fatal or abnormally strong, but Nero can usually shrug off a few blows during combat. He'll still feel the pain of all the attacks that hit him, but will power through. After combat, Nero will feel the pain of every hit he takes and be affected by them. (passive.)
First rule of Fight Club...: With his brother being a semi-pro boxer and his mentor knowing various fighting styles, Nero is a force to be reckoned with when it comes to fighting with his bare hands. On top of his style of mixing boxing with various martial art forms, Nero throws a bit of his own unique fighting into his arsenal, making him hard to predict. The obvious downside to his physical attacks is the need to get up close and personal, not to mention the fact that he has no powers, so his punches and kicks are only so strong. (passive)
Hey Buddy, Catch!: Nero throws his note book at the opponent and then drop-kicks them hard. If the opponent catches the notebook the kick is harder to dodge, but still avoidable. If the notebook misses, Nero or Koji must retrieve it. The kick is easy to dodge if the notebook misses. (cool down 3 posts, even if missed.)
Baseball Slide: More of a dodge technique. Simple as it sounds Nero and Koji get a running start and slide out of harms way. If Nero has his AK-47 he can get 3 shots off after the slide. Shots cannot be spaced out and have to be shot in one post. Will sometimes say lines like "stealing second," while preforming this skill. (cool down without shot 2 posts, with shot 4 post)
Running and Gunning, Baby: This is one of Nero's most powerful skills, but it also has the largest cool downs and Nero must have his AK-47 which he drops if he is hit by an attack. Nero holds the gun at the hip and can run forwards or backwards shooting about 10 shots. If backwards, he can't follow up with an attack. Forwards he can follow up with a gun-butt kick combo. Gun-butt kick combo can be avoided. Moderate accuracy. (Backwards cool down:6 post. Forwards cooldown: 7 post, with combo: 8 posts.)
Judo Roll: A dodge technique Nero and Koji roll forward stunning those they roll into to. It can also be ended with a kick from Nero and a bite from Koji. If Nero just uses the roll in an attempt to evade an attack, there is no cool down for the ability. Though, Nero can still be hit during the roll, it's just a bit tough to do so. If Nero chooses to use it as an attack and preform a back kick at the end of the roll, it has a four post cool down.
Judo Counter: A Jujitsu counter Nero learned from his mentor. When faced with other hand-to-hand fighters is where this ability really shines, but it can counter most physical attacks. If countering and unarmed foe, Nero will simply throw a few quick jabs at them or just one strong kick. If countering a sword or melee user, Nero attempts to stop their swing and hold it there, then will try to send in Koji to aim a bite for the target's neck or shoulder. If Koji is not with Nero, He can only attempt to stop any kind of melee user. Does not work on projectiles or magic attacks. All counters can be dodged if the opponent has fast enough reflexes.( 5 post cool down)
Fetch Boy!: Any weapon or item Nero may have dropped in the battle is brought back to him by his trusty partner Koji. During the cool down, Koji is gone from Nero and Nero's physical attacks will be without him. (Koji is gone for 1 post, cool down of 1 post)
Koji Upper-cut: Nero runs up to the opponent and kneels down, Koji then runs up Nero's back and jumps off of it doing a flip which knocks the opponent upwards. Can be dodged if opponent dodges Koji or attacks Nero. Cannot preform without Koji. Strong but long cool down. (Cool down 5 posts)
Squeak Toy For Ya Pal!: Nero grabs a hold of the opponent from the back while Koji runs up and bites the victims neck hard. Koji can be dodged. If opponent is able to get Nero off their back, Koji will ALWAYS miss. Cannot preform without Koji. This ability is really only effective against weaker enemies (aka, not other users) as any foe that is of decent strength should be able to toss the teen off of their back. (Cool down 6 posts)
Incendiary Rounds: Slamming a clip of special incendiary rounds into his rifile, the teen's bullets will have an added fire damage and properties. This is especially useful against large groups of weak enemies and those who are weak to fire. Besides being able to cause fires, the bullets act identical to his regular rifle bullets. After three uses, Nero will be out and have to replace the special clip with a regular ol' clip. The cool down doesn't start until the three uses of the clip are used. (cool down 3 posts)
Favorite Past-time: Using his skills he learned from a sport he played on his island, Nero throws his climbing ax as hard as he can at a target. Though his arm is already pretty strong when it comes to throwing the ax, Nero can choose to shoot the ax in mid-air to increase it's velocity. Whether the ax hits his target or misses, Nero or Koji will have to retrieve the ax at some point, making this ability have a bit of a draw-back to it. Also, Nero loses use of his ax until he or Koji retrieve it.(2 post cool down.)
Super-Power-Ninja-Turbo-Neo-Ultra-Hyper-Mega-Multi-Alpha-Meta-Extra-Uber-Prefix Combo Finish!: A finishing attack for Nero and Koji. Starting off with a slow but strong swing of his climbing axe, Nero pulls the target towards him, unleashing a flurry of kicks and punches for about seven hits total, then ending it with four pistol shots after the target away. This attack is extremely hard to hit, mostly only being useful on weaker enemies and dazed opponents ( which Nero has no way of doing on his own.) However, if a stronger opponent is caught in it, they will take at least three of the seven hits before being able to get out. If he completely misses the axe swing, the cool down is only three post, other wise the ability has a five post cool down.
Character Weapons (Maximum of 5 weapons allowed – members must have 100 posts before their characters may wield a keyblade):
AK-47: Nero's trusty gun. Unfortunately Nero's holster doesn’t have a slot for his rifle so he has to lug it around. This forces Nero to drop it quite often to dodge attacks or because he gets hit. He has to reload the gun after using it 3 times. He is able to reload this gun moderately fast, thus leaving him more open than his pistol does when reloading.
M1911: Nero's trusty side arm that is always with him and can't be dropped. It may just be a pistol, but it's 45. Caliber rounds aren't anything to gawk at. Customized to reduce recoil, Nero can fire this gun in one hand with relative ease. Being Nero's first gun, he has mastered it, being able to make the gun fire at a surprisingly fast fire-rate. The M1911 also needs to be reloaded after 3 uses and it leaves him open while popping the clip in. Though, he is able to reload rather quick, so an opponent must act quick to catch him.
Holster-Glider: Inside Koji's holster, there is a small retractable glider that can allow Nero and Koji to not survive otherwise fatal drops, but also glide for a small distance. Though, the glider can only be used if Nero and Koji are together, due the fact that a special cord that connects the two via their holsters is needed to activate the glider. During the glide, Nero can fire his pistol and be able reload it, but wont be able to reload his rifle after the three uses.
Koji: Nero's best buddy is also useful in his combat. Koji assists in all physical attacks and even gets Nero's dropped items. When with Koji, Nero's physical attacks are harder to dodge and have more power behind If them. As expected , without Koji, Nero's attacks have less power behind them and are much easier to dodge. If one is facing Nero, their best option would be to separate these two ASAP.
Climbing Ax: A ax designed strictly for climbing for most, but Nero has used it as a useful melee weapon when it's in his hands. Since Nero specializes in hand-to-hand combat, his skills with the ax in combat aren't too impressive, but they're enough to take on most heartless and weaker foes.
Character Summons (Optional field – no canon summons allowed – maximum of 2 allowed and maximum of 2 abilities each allowed):
Character Racial Ability (Optional - Your character may have ONE passive ability that seems to have an abnormal affect due to being a particular race. Merfolk can breathe underwater, Lava creatures are immune to fire, that sort of thing): His charm? I dunno.
Character Strengths (1 required): He is adaptable and is quick on his feet. Great at hand to hand combat. can climb and swim fairly well. Extremely intelligent and observant. Can take a licking and keep on ticking.
Character Weaknesses (1 required):He isn't the best shot and if there is no cover in an area he is at a disadvantage. Nero's fear of snakes and heights has a big effect on him at times. His womanizer ways could probably fit in this section as well. He also cannot use magic, so magic users have a bit of a advantage on him. Ego can often lead to him do something stupid and he is extremely reckless. If he is separated from Koji, Nero's physical attacks weaken and he even loses some abilities of his.
Character History (Minimum of 10 sentences required.): Growing up on his small island town, Nero grew up as the youngest of three children. Despite his big ego and sarcastic method of talking to people, he was a runty boy, leaving him to be bullied and looked down on as a kid. Having no friends besides the ones who were relatives, Nero would continue to try and live by his fathers example, being a pacifist and treating others with respect, no matter what happened to him. Of course, this got Nero no where and he would continue to get looked down on by his peers and most of the people in his small town. His first friend he'd ever make was one the boy would have never expected. Taking out his trash as his father had asked him one night, Nero would be shocked to see two wolves chasing after a small dog in his neighborhood. Wildlife entering his town or even his neighborhood was a pretty regular occurrence, but domesticated dogs were something very few actually owned on Nero's Island. Seeing the puppy about to be killed by the two wolves was the first thing that ever made Nero disregard his father's words. Nero scooped the young dog up in his hands, attempting to shield himself self and the dog from harm, but failed. The puppy took a strong bite on it's stomach, while Nero got one on his lower leg, leaving the two of them wounded and being attacked by wolves until the boy's father came outside.
Nero and the dog ended up being saved by Alfonse that night, Nero having to go to the hospital and the dog going to the local vet. Both Nero and the dog would be okay after getting a few stitches, but the problem remained in the fact that the puppy seemed to be a stray, meaning he'd be put down unless someone claimed him. After begging his father, Nero was able to get the dog from the vet. To make his ownership of his new friend official, Nero tied the bandanna he always wore around the dogs neck. Deciding on a name was rather easy for young Nero, as he had always known what name he wanted to give his dog, not knowing if he'd ever even get one. Naming the mutt Koji, Nero had made his first friend. Over the years, the two grew up together, often getting into mischief on their small island home. Nero and Koji would rarely not be together, resulting in the boy starting to talk to his dog and the two learning to communicate with each other, despite one of them physically not being able to talk. Nero's way of life would remain this way for years, a life he would have been fine with, but all good things must come to an end. Reaching the age of twelve, Nero's father would be diagnosed with a serious illness, shattering the boy emotionally. Sadly, Alfonse would just get worse and worse until he passed away the very same year he caught the diasese, the town doctors not able to do much for the old man.
If losing his father wasn't enough to crush the young boy, seeing the whole town gather and be saddened by his fathers death could easily do the trick. Though Nero considered the day of his fathers death to one of the worst in his life, it wasn't all bad. At the funeral, Nero was approached by a man he hadn't seen or even heard of before by the name of Anthony Trojia, claiming to know his deceased father. Trojia would go on, explaining that back in their youth, he and Nero's father were treasure hunters. Alfonse would tell stories to the boy as a child about him going off to plunder some ancient treasures and the like, but Nero always saw them as just that; stories. Still skeptical about this stranger, Trojia provided more proof to the boy, retelling the story of how Nero's father got the ring he wore around his neck and providing a picture of he and Alfonse in a jungle setting, a bag of riches in between the two of them. This news wasn't something Nero was ready to accept just yet, as it was a bit hard to see the kind and caring old man that was his father being a former treasure hunter, let alone someone who was good friends and partners with someone as shady looking as this individual. Before Nero could tell the man to leave him alone, Trojia would make the boy an interesting offer, one that would allow Nero a chance to follow in his fathers footsteps and become this man's protege.
Though everything in Nero's instinct told him not to trust this old man, he had peaked Nero's interest. Agreeing to train under him, Nero would make a pledge to do as he said, no matter how much Nero's morals would suggest against it, or how much it exhausted him. Beginning when Nero was twelve, he and Koji went through five years of brutal training with Trojia serving as their mentor. During the training, not only did the boy and his dog become closer than they were before, Nero began to develop a father-son like bond with his mentor. Despite how many people told the boy what a vile, disgusting man Trojia was, Nero saw the man as a second father. Mastering his free-running, parkour and free-climbing skills was the first thing Nero did under Trojia, becoming a very monkey-like man when it came to escaping combat. Next, the boy was taught how to fight in a plethora of fighting styles, all of them pushing him to his limit. Wanting his protege to be able to handle himself without weapons, Trojia would finally teach Nero how to handle guns after he had become very proficient in the other skills he had taught him, giving him a M1911 as his first ever gun. After extensive training with it and firearms as a whole, Nero was finally ready to tag along for an expedition. Even with Nero being raised to always turned the other cheek and never fight, he couldn't help but feel like Trojia had allowed the real him to come out, as terrible a person the real him was, he was happier this way.
Though Nero and Trojia's first expedition was a rough one, Nero proved to his mentor that he wasn't easily discouraged and that the old man could trust the young man with his life by being beaten to the verge of death and by double-crossing the opposing force in the expedition, despite the better deal they offered him. This sparked the two into an official partnership, something that allowed Nero to travel all across his world, discovering secrets and uncovering treasures from all kinds of environments. Whether it had been war-torn streets of struggling countries, exotic jungle temples, extreme Arctic conditions or even the severe heats of the desert, Nero's adventures with Trojia had brought him there, resulting in Trojia, Koji and Nero to form some sort of make-shift family. As for Nero's blood-related family, they had been going through struggle in his absence, his brother having to drop out of school and become a local boxer for quick cash was one of the biggest blows to the family, but it was nothing too extreme beyond that. Well, for a while. His brother hated him after the whole thing, which is why Nero getting a letter from the brother that despised him was a bit of a shocker for the teen. The letter stated that odd things had been happening around his hometown, things so odd that access in and out of the town was blocked. Finding this a bit odd, Nero and Trojia decided to investigate, hoping that Vince was just overreacting.
Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. Taking a private helicopter into the bay-side town, Nero could already see there was something fishy with just the weather alone. Sea Shore city was a place that rarely had clouds in the sky at all, let alone these inky black clouds. The closer they got to the town, the stranger and stranger things got. Nero had noticed the sky and ground shared the same inky black color, something that was beyond unnatural and finally got Nero to buy in to what his brother had sent him the letter about. Asking Trojia to get them lower to the ground, Nero and Koji hopped off of the copper, dashing towards their former house. On the way there, the two were extremely unsettled, seeing sturdy structures of the town appear to be disintegrating some how. After the weird trip through the once-sunny island, Nero and Koji would reach their house, seeing the same darkness that covered the island making it's way towards his home. Rushing to beat it, the two would be stopped by a group of creatures Nero had never even seen before, which was saying something considering how much the two explored the islands wilderness in their youth. Running past them, Nero would watch as the darkness began moving faster towards his house until it passed him up and reached his front yard. Stopping dead in his tracks, Nero would lock eyes with his brother as the darkness crept closer and closer to his house. Vince stood in the front yard of the house, Nero's mother and sister beside him, but much like the house behind them, they'd begin to be covered in the inky darkness.
Since Nero was only focused on getting to his family, he hadn't noticed the same darkness swallowing his family before his very eyes was climbing it's way up to him and Koji. As he and the dog continued to press forward towards their family, the sound of them all screaming would enter the two's ears, causing Nero to fall to his knees and accept defeat. Together, Nero and Koji would get smothered in the inky material, both of them assuming that was their end. Waking up in the middle of a plaza, Nero and Koji found themselves in a different town, confused as all hell. They weren't sure why or if they were alive, but Nero would instantly grab his walkie-talkie in an attempt to contact Trojia, only getting static. Asking the nearby locals just where he was, Nero discovered the name of the town he landed in was Twilight Town, placing Nero in the first of many strange worlds in his search for his family and mentor.
After spending some time in a few worlds, the teen learned just what had happened to his world, accepting the fact that he should have considered he and Koji lucky for making out of his world's destruction and that his family and mentor were most likely dead. Grieving over his lost ones, Nero would continue to do what he did so well on his home world; being a treasure hunter. Nero continued to go on even more of his adventures on even more worlds. He'd even eventually Trojia did in fact make it out of their dying world alright, saving him from a group of bandits in Agrabah. Nero still sees his family as dead, but still looks for them as a secondary motive.

Character Relationships: Alfonse 'Nero' Bleu: Nero's father and idol. Though, despite once being in the line of work Nero is now in, Alfonse was a much nicer and caring person than Nero, often telling the boy to always look for the good in people and never harm others. In Nero's eyes, one can only try to be as noble a man as his father, but one will never reach it. Keeping his father's ring around his neck, Nero always has a piece of his father on him during his travels. Alfonse earned his nickname of 'Nero' from the brand of watch he always wore.
Vince Bleu: Nero's brother and at one time close friend. After his father's death, Vince soured his views on Nero, seeing as the boy left to train with Trojia right afterward. Being forced to take care of his mother and sister, Vince had to quit his studies and begin boxing local combatants. The two have had an estranged relationship ever since, never being as close as they were when they were children. Oldest child of the Bleu's. Vince has also always been a bit jealous of Nero, as their father chose to leave Nero his ring instead of Vince.
Keiko Bleu: Nero's sister. Very close to him and someone he was very protective over. Despite her being the older sibling, Nero often looked out for her as if she was his younger sister. The middle child of the Bleu's.
Nikki Bleu: Nero's mother. As with most mothers, Nikki always worried for Nero, always warning him to be careful and mind himself. Though she meant well, she'd often get on the boy's nerves. Still, Nero cares deeply for his mother, even if he doesn't show it.
Anthony "Troy," Trojia: Nero's mentor and adoptive father in a way. Trojia was partners with Nero's father before becoming Nero's partner and mentor, but after his retired partner died, Trojia felt it was his job to take care of Alfonse's son. After being trained by him, Nero began to develop a father-son like bond with the man. Despite the way they talk to each other, there is very little they wouldn't do for each other. Nero is able to trust Trojia with his life, which is saying something considering Trojia's character. In a way, Trojia partially named Nero. He had given the nickname 'Nero,' to Alfonse back when they were partners to hide his identity.
Edward Sedna: One of Nero's most prominent enemies, if not the most prominent enemy of his. Sedna and Nero have quite the history with one another. Being at odds so many times, it has made the two of them have a more personal grudge against each other, both of them doing terrible things to the other. Hell, their rivalry goes back a generation, with Sedna and Nero's fathers not liking each other either. Nero hates Sedna with a burning passion and would love nothing more than to put this scumbag out of his misery, as he would consider it doing the world a favor, but he'd be lying if said Sedna wasn't a formidable foe.
Cherika Kohoni: Nero's self-appointed girlfriend. Though the pair met by aiming their weapons at the other's head, they became fast friends after Cheri hired Nero as protection and offered him a more personal reward. Nero is a bit conflicted when it comes to this odd girl, he definitely cares for her, but she seems to be more enticed with him than he is with. He does enjoy her company, however, despite her odd fetish for being cut and other quirks. Nero cares for her more than he lets on, but he doesn't let it escalate more than just that.
Character Accessories:Father's Ring- A strangely marked shining silver ring that hangs from the boy's neck on a silver chain. Found by his father on an expedition with Trojia, it is said to be the key to unlocking an extremely valuable treasure. Whether it's true or not, Nero doesn't care, he simply wears the ring as a memento of his passed away father.
Teal Bandanna-A bandanna that was Nero's as a kid. Nero used to wear it around his neck, but gave to Koji as soon as the two met. Koji has worn the bandanna ever since, only taking it off to be bathed. It is very sentimental to the dog and he'll often get uneasy if it is touched by others.
Leather Cuff Watch- Given to Nero by his mentor when he first started his training, Nero rarely is seen without this thing on his wrist. With a bright orange face and shining silver numbers and arms, the watch is usually an attention grabber. Added bonus of being both practical for telling time and stylish.
Friendship Bracelet- If one was to ever dig through Nero's side pouch or his pockets, they'd most likely find this simple bracelt made of yarn and plastic. One side of the bracelet spells out "Nero," while the other spells out "Keiko," in big plastic squares with black text. The bracelet itself is teal, but the side that reads "Nero," is a dark blue square with white text, while the side that reads "Keiko," is a light green square with purple text. Not knowing whether his sister is alive or dead, Nero considers this a memento of his sister.
Character Items:Vince's Letter- The last bit of communication Nero ever received from his brother. It expresses his mother and sister's worry for both Nero and what's going on their island. There is nothing special written in the letter, no goodbyes or any final feelings about one another, but it holds some sort of odd sentimental value to Nero.
