Everybody! TAG ALL THE THINGS.
The little King wasn't entirely sure where his former master was. Things had become so hectic, since the unveiling of Xehanort's plans. There'd been so much to do on his part, ensuring that his world was prepped for any number of terrible things. Master Xehanort had been here, all along, learning of their weaknesses and planning what Mickey could only assume was a terrible and potentially deadly counter attack.
The monarch paced across the floor, lost in his train of thought. Now that he dwelt on it, Sora had suddenly gone missing, too. He'd sent Donald and Goofy off to investigate the matter -- there was nobody who knew him better, he figured -- with no avail. Perhaps he'd gone to do some training after failing his Mark of Mastery.. or something had happened to him. The latter, of course, was unacceptable.
Mickey wished Sora had mentioned to the others WHERE he was going. With Xehanort lurking around in the shadows, the potential for a trap was positively rife. He didn't like to think about the last time the young man had been trapped in the terrible schemer's clutches.
Axel -- or Lea, rather -- had also managed to go missing, just as he'd revealed his potential as a Keyblade Warrior. Though unlike Sora, the King knew where their red-headed ally was; he'd returned to his original world, in Radiant Garden. It seemed many of Xehanort's former allies had called that place home...Mickey wondered how many other people Xehanort had put in harm's way just for the sake of his own gain.
Now, Mickey puzzled out something that had evaded him before. Ansem the Wise's apprentice had been called "Xehanort", too. It couldn't be such a coincidence that the two would share the same name. But how was that possible, when the younger version of Xehanort had looked nothing like the apprentice he knew?
What more horrors could Master Xehanort have possibly concocted? Was it possible that the apprentice he'd seen not so long ago was another one of the corrupted Keyblade Master's victims? There was some small resemblance, sure, but Mickey was sure there was something...something that made him feel as though there were a deeper meaning than what he'd simply seen.
Lost in this thoughts, the diminutive ruler of Disney Castle paced along the floor...seeking answers to questions he wished he never had to ask.
"Gosh...All this trouble...Has it really come to this?"
