/OOC: but by no means does it have to remain a normal day, just for anyone who wants to jump in! I don't have any real plan for this at the moment, so feel free to take it in whatever direction you want. ^^
Traverse Town: the place where lost souls who no longer had their own world came, to take refuge and find a little respite from their pain. As always, it was bustling yet quiet, sombre yet hopeful, brightly lit by neon signs yet full of old, rustically-charming buildings; in a way, the whole town was a contradiction, but it was lovely in its way.
Zukini had found himself here not through losing his own world - so far as he knew, that was still very much intact, though he hadn't set foot there ever since he first left - but rather through, well, boredom. There hadn't been much going on in his life lately; he'd been exploring worlds, trying out new things, living life to the fullest with his only reasoning being 'because why not?' as he ever did... And now that he'd finished up the thrilling business of 'accidentally' warping into the palace of Agrabah's Sultan (or king or whatever, Zukini didn't really care much for details like that) and 'accidentally' running away with an awesome-looking couch - three cheers for Haste and super strength, he thought to himself with a smirk - he found himself back in the ever-sleepy Traverse Town for some downtime.
With a contented sigh, Zukini flopped down on the top stair outside the First District's accessory shop, dropping his staff across his lap as he sat back lazily. He had deposited his newly-acquired couch back in the castle he was staying at before coming here, so he wasn't too worried about losing his trophy; not that he ever really 'worried,' as such, about anything. Life's a game, meant to be won, he thought, casting his dark eyes about at the various men, women and children who milled about this area, so why get distressed about the minor things? There's no better way to win at the game of life than to enjoy it, surely...
Yawning, the man - well, the person who could switch genders but was currently a man, at least - leaned back on one hand and closed his eyes, feeling slightly tired after his excursion of earlier. The palace's guards might not have caught him earlier - and they didn't catch him when he was a her, either - but they still put up a good chase, and it had taken its toll more than Zukini had realized. Eh... I'll hang out here for a while, gather my bearings. Not like I have anything else to do, anyway!
Yep, it was just a normal day for Zukini; resting up after one of his many bizarre escapades that usually resulted in him (or her, whichever form they happened to be in at the time) being chased around by someone or other that they'd wronged...
...But perhaps, this 'normal day' was about to take a turn out of the ordinary.
