Character Basics
Character Name: Technology, Engineering, and Combat Companion Model E5V62. (T.E.C.C. or Tec for short.)
Character Age: Beta tested for 3 weeks. Finished product 3 days before deployment. (Under 1 year.)
Character Race: Android
Character Gender: Feminine structure and behavior
About the Character
Character Personality: Normally an android would be devoid of personality, being the product of programming. An unusual glitch has given this model sentience and a personality, though. She is still rather simple, as she is just finding herself. She is prone to making obvious or callous remarks, and is generally oblivious to the feelings of others, as the concept of emotions is brand new to her. She applies logic to most of her decisions and actions, measuring odds of success and probability before making important choices and voicing said odds and probabilities to others when they are faced with decisions. These numbers may or may not be accurate as the glitch has altered some of her capabilities and capacities. While she may be oblivious to feelings, she still has a large curiosity towards humans and their various behaviors. She makes attempts to understand their actions and comes up with theories herself from time to time. This, at least, is her normal behavior. Occasionally, the glitch may alter her personality temporarily. She becomes wild, spontaneous, and fool hardy. These outbursts can range from only a couple minutes to days at a time.
Character Appearance: This model's chassis stands at 5' 5" tall (~1.6 meters). A custom designed model, her hair is short and jet black. Her visual sensors are placed where eyes would normally be, and are shaped the same. They are, however, completely blue and luminescent, changing color to red when engaged in battle. The rest of her face is shaped with softer features, giving her the look of a young teenager. She has a normal build, as per the customer's request. She wears a white T-shirt with her model number embroidered onto a small plaque resting on her right shoulder. The company's logo is emblazoned in black onto the back: a wrench with a heart in the center. A pair of jeans and black sneakers finish her attire. When activating certain abilities, or overclocking, several parts of her body reveal small ducts built into her clothes that open to let out steam. One on top of each of her wrists, one on each shoulder, one on each heel, and one on the small of her back.
Battle Statistics
Character Position: Neutral
Character Spells:
S1. Emergency Protect: A special button in this model's possession can be given to any chosen person to hold on to. The small red button can be attached to any piece of clothing or armor for easy access. Once per battle, the button may be pressed in the event of an emergency to activate it's function. Once pressed, the model this button is linked to is magically tele-ported in front of the user to intercept an attack on their behalf. No other defensive spells can be used by the model in the span of tele-porting and being struck. The maximum range of teleportation is 20 feet (~6 meters). Cannot be used if the model is inoperable or not functioning (I.E. knocked out).
S2. Repair Nanos: Tapping into the small reserves of magic included in each model, the unit can create thousands of magical microscopic repair droids in their body for a limited amount of time. They effectively act as a regeneration spell for the android. They surge through the body toward various parts in need of repair and get to work, mending and fixing anything from melted components to broken structure slowly. While in combat, the nanos can only repair light and medium wounds, and how quickly they are repaired is dependent on the extent of the damage. The nanos require one post to locate and assess the scope of injuries, meaning the damage only begins to be repaired on the post after the injuries have been inflicted. At that time, light wounds require two posts to be fully cured, while medium wounds require five. During these spans, the damage is slowly repaired, meaning they gradually get less and less severe until disappearing completely. These nanos remain active for six posts before disappearing. (Usable once per battle). When used outside of combat, they can be focused on to remain active for an extended period of time, repairing the unit from near inoperable states in as little as one hour with concentration. They can also be controlled by a backup program to allow other tasks to be performed, though their effectiveness is cut in half and thus they take longer twice as long to repair.
Character Abilities:
A1. Charge Dive: The model kneels to the ground for a short amount of time, dispelling it's gauntlets and boots to charge energy. The generators in it's hands and feet store the energy in her right foot for, until a sufficient amount is reached (within the post). The model then jumps forward and performs a hand-spring, aligning itself with it's target in the air and extending it's right foot in a dive-kick, reaching up to 10 feet (~3 meters) from it's starting point. If the foot connects, the model expels all the built up energy into a blast aimed at the target, dealing a medium amount of damage and propelling the user away from the target approximately 5 feet (~1.5 meters), the model then doing a backflip and landing, instantly reactivating it's gauntlet and boots. If this attack misses, the energy shorts out her right leg's generator, rendering her right boot inaccessible for one post after this attack's failure before the extra energy dissipates and it's functionality returns. (5 post cooldown).
|
|>A2. Over-Charge Dive: (Accessible only in [F1. Overclock Mode]) When overclocked (explained in forms), this move's power increases to a heavy amount of damage. After the blast, the user can decide to ascend straight up into the air instead of away from it's target and either re-align with the same target or a different one up to 5 feet (~1.5 meters) away to strike once again for a medium amount of damage, before being propelled away like normal. This attack also gains the ability to pierce through armors and shields at a reduced amount of damage, about 25% damage for heavy armors and 10% damage for physical shields wielded by the target on only the initial release of energy. When overclocked, if this attack misses it instead releases it's energy into the ground, creating a small crater and not shorting out the generator. (Usable once each overclock).
A3. Charge Beat: The unit charges energy into the generators on it's hands quickly, before moving close to it's target. It then rapidly strikes at the target with it's fists, alternating until it has struck four times with each hand. Each strike is slightly powered up, dealing about 1.5 times the amount of damage a normal punch would do. It then hops back before lunging at the targets with both fists extended. Upon contact, the fists release a blast of energy, dealing medium damage to the target and propelling the target back up to 5 feet (~1.5 meters) depending on weight. If this attack misses, it shorts out both generators on her hands, rendering her gauntlets inaccessible for one post after this attack's failure until the extra energy dissipates and functionality returns. (5 post cooldown).
|
|>A4. Over-Charge Beat: (Accessible only in [F1. Overclock Mode]) When overclocked (explained in forms), this move's initial strikes are doubled, up to eight times with each fist. The final strike's damage is increased to a heavy amount of damage, as well as a new property being added to it. A shockwave is created starting from the point of impact and extending up to 5 feet (~1.5 meters) behind the target in a cone, reaching another 5 feet (~1.5 meters) at it's widest point sideways. The shockwave does light damage to anyone inside it's range. While overclocked, if this attack misses, it still releases the shockwave, as well as not shorting out the generators. (Usable once each overclock).
Character Forms/Command Styles:
F1. Overclock Mode: Each generator in the unit's body doubles it's energy output, bypassing the limitations set on them to keep basic motor functions after extended use. Each vent on it's body opens up and constantly emits a plume of steam while in this mode, and a red glow surrounds them as well. The model gains a 25% attack increase and a 25% movement speed increase for three posts, as well as gaining access to more powerful versions of it's regular abilities. Removing the limiters comes at a dangerous cost, however. Once the generators have expended the extra energy from overclocking, the unit must spend an entire post cooling down, unable to take any action or move while the generators bring their energy levels back up to a sustainable level. (Can be activated three times per battle, with a two post cooldown starting after regaining control).
Character Weapons:
Projected Energy Field: This model has a specially designed small generator wired into each limb, as well as it's chest. When engaged in combat, the generators produce a special barrier designed for combat purposes. The arm generators create gauntlet shaped projections that reach halfway toward her elbow and cover her fists in a soft yellow glow. The leg generators create similarly colored barriers covering her feet and shins, up to her knees. The generator in her chest creates a breastplate shaped projection, covering from her neckline to her waist, though not covering her shoulders. Each of the energy fields consume very little energy, and as such can be maintained so long as she is in fighting condition. The strength of these fields is about equivalent to steel armor, yet as they are made of energy there is no lasting damage done to them. If one of the fields is cut through and the limb or chest underneath is damaged, so long as the generators remain intact the field will return to it's original shape. The gauntlet and boots are this model's primary methods of attacking.
Character Summons: (None)
Character Racial Ability:
Mechanical body: Not being human, this character's skeleton is made of a mysterious reinforced metal that is lightweight, and durable. As such, she takes about 10% less damage than normal humans from physical attacks, and 5% less damage from magical attacks for all elements except for lighting or it's variants. Being mechanical, attacks of that element do an increased amount of damage, effectively doubling it, as well as causing her systems to malfunction slightly, negating her bonus resistance and increasing the cooldowns on all of her Abilities by two posts, until she is out of combat and can repair the damage. In addition, Magnet spells are slightly stronger on her, increasing their effectiveness by 50%.
Character Strengths: Loyal, analytical, precise, water-proof.
Character Weaknesses: Driven by facts, blunt, mechanical, Thunder-based attacks.
Character History:
An ambitious company was founded once upon a time. The founders had known about the heartless threat for many years before finally coming together to do something about it, in their own way. They designed weapons and defenses to combat the heartless for the world they were on, and for the most part their inventions were successful. This, of course, led them to becoming prosperous and attempting to expanding their reach. With the brand new Technology, Engineering, and Combat Companion line of androids they had developed, they were preparing to send the very first shipment of theirs to another world. Unfortunately, some of the men who owned the company had let their newfound riches darken their hearts. Their obsession with greed drew the heartless, like the scent of blood drawing in predators. A huge swarm of heartless the size of which had never been seen before attacked the factory, just as the new models were being launched. A couple heartless managed to make it on the vessel, as the rest of the swarm set to work obliterating the factory in no time flat. As the ship flew away, the pilots were completely oblivious to their world being consumed by the darkness behind them.
They were also oblivious to the heartless tearing up their merchandise in the cargo bay. As none of the units were active, they were torn apart without a fight. One of the pilots took a break and headed to the cargo bay to check on things, right as the heartless were moving toward the last model, an odd model with a bug that somehow managed to slip through quality control. Sensing the pilot, who actually had a heart, the heartless bolted for him and left the model intact, escaping to the rest of the ship to wreak havoc. They made their way to the cockpit eventually, leaving the ship with no pilot. With no pilot, the ship plunged toward the closest world and crash landed. The crash destroyed both heartless on the ship, and the only thing to survive the wreckage was the android that was left alone, although it was heavily damaged. Sensing the ship had crashed, an emergency program activated the lone surviving model of the ship, and she now awakens amidst the wreckage.

[span][span] [/span]An ambitious company was founded once upon a time.
[span] They were also oblivious to the heartless tearing up their merchandise in the cargo bay. Sensing the ship had crashed, an emergency program activated the lone surviving model of the ship, and she now awakens amidst the wreckage.[/span][/span]
