Conrí picked himself up from the floor. The energy seemed to return to normal, and he could hear Tori talking, but couldn't make out what she was saying. Chiseko also chimed in response to the speech. Oh, that was strange. Fenrir, do you think you and Chiseko could talk? Maybe it might help things. The hallway still appeared blurry and swayed in and out of focus, but, the wolf boy forced his feet to steady themselves underneath him. The wolf boy wondered why he had seen flashes of a different place in his head, and thought about explaining what had happened to Tori.
Given how affected you were by what went on in that room, I'm not sure my going in there to talk with the little one is advised.
"Fenrir," he whispered, "come on out, but not in a creepy ready to fight way. Try to be cute like Chiseko." The would be wolf king placed his hand on the floor and watched the glow surround him. A wolf-like looking dog, which was much bigger than any actual dog Conrí had seen around town appeared before him. "That will do, I guess."
Carefully, the would be king and his wolf entered the white room again. "Hey, Tori. I tried to ignore it, but, there was this really weird energy surge around you. I tried to go to my room, but ended up passing out in the hallway. I don't know why, but I saw this place that looked like some kind of island." He looked at Chiseko and waved.
"Chiseko, this is Fenrir." The wolf dog next to Conrí shook his head and yawned as the wolf boy continued, "I thought maybe the two of you could try talking to each other so that I can attempt to understand what's going on and help if I can."

Tori didn't turn back at Conrí or Fenrir, and kept thinking as they returned back inside. Chiseko, as well, wasn't there. At least, not the way Conrí knew her. Instead, a girl was hugging Tori calmly, as Tori kept sobbing from time to time. The girl noticed Conrí and Fenrir walking in, and, with a smile, let go of Tori, to then turned towards them.
"You're kind of bad when it comes to timing, huh?" she asked, chuckling, "It's okay. We were going to leave now, anyways. And... Even if Fenrir's here, that doesn't necessarily mean that I'll be able to talk with him. After all, there are differences between what you know as Spirits, and what Tori and I know as Spirits, too."

Conrí tried not to stare at the new girl in the room. He looked at Tori, who was sobbing off and on. He reached toward her, but didn't move. His gaze lifted to the other girl's eyes. "I'm sorry that I'm a little late, but I'm here now. Chiseko, I had no idea you could transform, but, we can talk about that later. Please, tell me how I can help."
The wolf boy found himself walking toward Tori. "I understand that trust is hard. While I might not understand any of what you are going through, I want to help. No tricks or anything like that. Promise. So, I insist you at least spend the night. There are plenty of rooms here, and more mysteries that deserve to be answered, so, maybe, for once, the answer is to wait rather than vanish into thin air." The would be wolf king wasn't sure why he'd phrased it like that, but, he hoped they wouldn't be stubborn and leave anyway.
I'm afraid that Chiseko might be right, and perhaps we can't communicate. Fenrir cocked his head at the girl, curious to see if she could hear his thoughts.

"Ah, so you noticed immediately?" Chiseko asked, chuckling, "I guess it's easy, once you tie two and two together." "...I don't need your help" Tori told Conrí, "This is something I need to do on my own. And... Even if you wanted to help, there's nothing you can do. Because you're not someone who can tell me which memories belong to me, and only me" she explained, "So, sorry, but... Imma skip." "Tori..." "It's true, though!" Tori turned back towards Chiseko, pouting, "He doesn't know me! So how should he know what memories belong to me?" "I didn't mean it that way! Sure, he might not help there. But don't you think that we could get some help from him to begin with? Y'know, with the Dusks and Traitors in particular." "And you're talking about something I don't remember again..."
As if they were called as soon as Chiseko mentioned them, ghost-like creatures soon made themselves clear to everyone in the room. Chiseko jumped in front of Tori, to protect her, as she took out a pair of twin daggers from her belt, looking determined to fight. Tori, on the other hand, was caught unable to act, partially because of Chiseko, and the other part because of the Spirits.
"Again?!" she asked, a bit bitter. "Tori, stay behind" Chiseko ordered, sternly, "They're after you, so you need to try and focus in order to get rid of them." "But I can't do it! Didn't you hear me last time?!" "You can always try again! Just focus while I distract them!"

Conrí sighed when Tori and Chiseko began to argue. Again. There are other ways to go about helping. He kept the thought to himself. Tori looked scared, and that made the wolf boy concerned. "You are correct. I don't know who you were, but, I have a good idea of who you are now. So, I can't tell you what belongs to you and what doesn't, but, I can be a friend and make sure who you are won't become lost as you search for who you were." Conrí realised that he was speaking softly, but sternly.
Ever the loyal one, aren't you?
Yeah, what of it? The wolf boy cocked his head when Chiseko mentioned Dusks and Traitors, wondering what she was talking about. But, it appeared he didn't have to wait long to find out. Vapor like creatures appeared and began moving toward Tori, who suddenly seemed exasperated with Chiseko. Conrí growled at the enemies and dashed past them to Chiseko's side. He drew his sword and readied for combat. "Who cares about what happened last time? You have two friends who believe in you now, so you might as well trust us and try. I won't let them hurt you."
I don't know what this weapon can do against them, but, I'll give it my all. Conrí nodded at Chiseko. "Ready."

Chiseko smiled at Conrí's determination to fight, and, readying her two blades, defended Tori from the Spirits that jumped to attack. Tori groaned, yet didn't do anything. While she did want to fight... Something about the Spirits scared her. She knew she wasn't able to fight them head on without getting hurt, or even losing her conscience. It had happened a few times before, and, no matter how hard she tried, she was just unable to make them front, despite her strengths.
A Spirit, in the form of a fox, saw an opportunity in Chiseko's opening, and lunged forward to attack Tori. Tori managed to notice, although barely, and was tossed back, unable to draw her sword from her sheath.
"Tori!" Chiseko yelled, seeing that she'd left an opening. "Dammit... Let go!" Tori shouted, seeing that the Spirit wasn't letting her go.
As the Spirit lunged towards Tori, the others quickly tried to throw themselves along with it, while the fox Spirit made sure Tori wouldn't get hold of her blade. Chiseko tried to get rid of them, but they became too many.
"Come on, are you giving up?" a voice echoed in Tori's head, "Now's your chance, y'know. To recover that which you've lost." "W-Who...?" Tori asked, struggling against the Spirit pinning her down. "I'm you. I'm what makes you strong. So stand up and fight already! You have what it takes, so just make use of it!" "I... I can't..." "If you can't do it on your own now, then you should've just said so. Lemme help!"
As the voice faded, a bright light covered Tori's hand, forcing the Spirit away. In Tori's hand, a blade was resting, faintly glowing in a grey light. Tori looked at the blade, unable to move, and, seeing the blade, Chiseko recovered some hopes.
"Tori!" she called her, "Now's the time to fight!" "Heh... So, now you'll let me?" Tori teased, recovering some of her cheerfulness, and standing up, "Bright it on!"

Conrí kept up with Chiseko, though, as he had feared, his blade didn't do much against the weird creatures. He saw a fox spirit suddenly start biting Chiseko. Since the enemies that had been attacking him were now gaining up on her, the wolf boy stepped in front of her and started swatting them away from her. "Sorry about the fox. Fenrir, protect Tori. Now!" The would be wolf king noticed the spirits trying to go at the opening he'd left.
The wolf growled and began swiping at the creatures. It's not effective.
No duh, just, keep at it. Conrí looked back at Tori, who seemed petrified for a few moments, despite her efforts to get the fox off of Chiseko. "You can do this, Tori. We aren't going to let you fall here." He tried to not let the start of his exhaustion and frustration get to him too much. I wish this blade would actually do something. They're almost made of air. Impossible to cut, but...even if it's terribly futile, I'll fight until I have nothing left!
Fenrir snorted, but kept swiping at the monsters.
A flash of light distracted Conrí, and, when he looked at Tori again, he noticed that she was holding a familiar blade in her hands. Key...blade? The wolf boy momentarily dropped to his knee and kept fighting with one hand while the other gripped his head. Something was coming back to him about the day his world was swallowed up. He saw himself and Tori standing at the core of his world. He was holding a similar blade as she was right now. "So," he said, shaking his head and rising to his feet, "looks like you beat me to it after all, Tori. Guess mine doesn't feel like coming to me yet...anyway...Let's finish this!" The wolf king stood next to Tori, poised for a fight.

Tori nodded, and Chiseko managed to fend herself from a few Spirits before looking at the two, and the wolf afterwards. Both of them were rather shocked, seeing such a majestic creature, but focused on the Spirits that kept appearing.
"Right. Let's finish this already!" Tori shouted back, looking at the Spirits. "I'll be right behind you, so don't act recklessly" Chiseko said, calmly. "Tch... I know how to keep my head cool, Chiseko. Just watch!"
Tori leapt forward, and, with a clean strike, defeated a few Spirits on her own, leaving a small group to Conrí and Fenrir. Ever so swiftly, Tori kept on attacking, now fearless since she had a new power by her side.
"This time... I'll be the one prevailing..." she told herself, still attacking as many Spirits as she could.

Conrí stared at Tori somewhat amazed at just how quickly she had defeated most of the spirits. The wolf boy nodded at Fenrir, and they attacked the small group left from the front and the back. His sword wasn't making as quick of a battle as Tori's Keyblade was, but, was managing to do some damage.
He wanted to chuckle at Chiseko's comment about Tori keeping a cool head in battle, but he refrained. The would be king didn't want the girl to suddenly start attacking him after they made it through this. An enemy on his end finally disappeared, and, he decided to get serious with them. "You're annoying, little ghosts or whatever." He decided to start striking at the logical vital points, which seemed to work in his favor a bit more. The enemies began to disappear in wisps.
"So, Tori, what now?" Conrí asked with a bit of grit to his voice. Also, do you think you could help me unlock my Keyblade?
Maybe things would go more smoothly if you just asked her this kind of thing outright.
Conrí sighed. I don't even know if I can use one. The name of the blade and the look of it feels familiar, though, just like that one memory. The wolf boy kept an eye on Tori and Chiseko.

As Tori kept on fighting, soon the Spirits retreated. She breathed heavily, exhausted, and as soon as the enemy dissapeared, she fell to her knees. Chiseko helped calm her down and recover her breath, as the Keyblade dissapeared in a flash of light.
"You were wonderful, Tori..." Chiseko praised her, What it that hard?" "You're one to talk..." Tori replied, smirking, "You guys have been bugging me about it for long now... But I guess I'm glad I finally remembered something else."
Chiseko smiled at Conrí, calmly, as if she also wanted to say words of praise to him, but she was sure he knew already. His help was appreciated by the two, since it helped get rid of the enemy quicker.
"You look troubled..." Chiseko noted Conrí's expression, "Is something bothering you?"

Conrí smiled at Tori and nodded in agreement with Chiseko. "I'm really happy for you, Tori!" He laughed a little. "We don't make a half-bad team, the four of us." He heard Fenrir snuff in approval. He gave the wolf an awkward thumbs up.
The wolf boy returned Chiseko's smile with a nod.
When she asked if something was bothering him, Conrí looked down at his hands, then to Fenrir, and then Tori. He sighed. Guess I'll take your advice for once, Fenrir. "This is probably going to sound crazy, but, when the Keyblade came to Tori, I saw something." He scanned the room for the drawings he'd started making of his world. Once he saw what he was looking for, he picked up the drawing and held it out to Chiseko and Tori.
"I don't know if it was a memory or something else, but...this is my world. More specifically, it's the place I was guarding when it was destroyed. We were there," as he said this, he shifted his gaze to Tori, "And, we both had Keyblades, but, then, right as mine appeared, the world, you, everything was swallowed up in darkness."
The would be wolf king paced back and forth a little. "I don't know how it could be a memory, so, if it wasn't that, then...it just makes me worry about my world. You can at least understand that feeling, I'm sure, so...why don't we work together a little more?" Conrí actually knelt in front of Tori, something that made Fenrir snarl.
Unless you forgot, kings don't kneel to others.
I'm not a king. Yet. "What I'm trying to ask is, if I help you get back to your world, could you help me figure out what I need to do to unlock my Keyblade?" He titled his head up and gazed earnestly into Tori's eyes.

Tori looked at Conrí, confused. Had she travelled somewhere before arriving at Twilight Town? Maybe even before arriving at Sakura Island? She wasn't sure. After all, her memory was incomplete, meaning she was unable to remember most things at that moment. When Conrí knelt down, Tori flinched, uneasy. She wasn't sure how to react at him acting that way. It felt uncomfortable.
"S-stop that, right now!" she yelled, "W-what exactly are you up to, confusing me like that?! I met you today, didn't I? There's no way in hell that what you saw was true, anyways!" she looked away, "And even if you ask me, a Keyblade isn't unlocked. It just... answers to someone's call. Obviously, those who can wield it. If you can wield one, then I don't see why it shouldn't answer to you if you need it that badly."
She walked past Conrí, Chiseko back to her White Bell form, on Tori's shoulder. Before leaving the room, Tori looked back at Conrí, still a bit red, blushing at her own confusion.
"If you're that desperate to find a way to 'unlock' your Keyblade, why don't you look for someone that has the time to explain?" she suggests, "I'm looking for something, and I don't have time to actually help you. Sorry, but... That's how it is."
She then left the room, and, consecutively, the mansion, in search for a way to go back home. Now with a Keyblade in hand, it should be easy once she learnt how to manipulate Rifts, with Chiseko's guidance.

Conrí rose right after she screamed, somewhat startled himself. Great plan, Fen. Just be open with them, huh? He stayed silent and nodded from time to time. Of course he'd met her today. But, then, why? The would be wolf king watched her leave, taking everything she said. He closed his eyes and held out his hand. Something in the gesture reminded him of the rituals he learned at home, and something tingled at the edge of his mind, but, it slipped away from him as quickly as it came.
The wolf boy sighed and heard Tori enter the room again. As she'd consistently done, she said that she was, indeed going this time, and couldn't help. But, see, to me, you can help and are just running. I helped you find what you were looking for, right? Conrí kept the thought to himself, but, his gaze went from her red face to her Keyblade. Chiseko had returned to her usual form.
Then, she was gone. The wolf boy felt shaky all over. He breathed in and out heavily, fighting with his urge to follow her, but, he didn't want to freak her out again. Then, he caught it. Tori's scent. A trail of orange left the room, and, Conrí suspected, the mansion. "I could follow her. But, last time, that was a bad idea."
This isn't last time.
"Since when did you become an expert on making friends, Fen? I probably freaked her out, and it's best that I just try to get some rest. I'm sure she will be fine."
As you wish, but, I really think you're making a mistake by not following her.
"Wake me in an hour or two, then, and, I'll follow her after that," Conrí muttered, half-passed out on the floor of the White Room.

Tori headed out of the Mansion, back to the town. Chiseko was with her, holding firmly to her shoulder, looking at Tori with some obvious concern.
"Hey, are you alright?" Chiseko asked, frowning, "I know that you want to go back and all, but is Conrí bothering you that much?" "No... It's just... I still feel as if he's too clingy..." Tori replied, puffing her cheeks, "It's like he WANTS me to be by his side at all times. But I have more important things to focus on, don't I?" "If you want to go back, yeah." "And I want to go back already. Mei and Neku are probably worried about me..."
Tori summoned her Keyblade, looked straight forward, and focused. With Chiseko's guidance, she was able to open a small Rift, large enough for her to jump into. Without any second thoughts, she jumped in, returning back home.

Conrí stirred in his sleep. He groaned and turned, and slowly began dreaming again, only to bolt upright. He looked and saw Fenrir majestically sitting at his side. "Fenrir, did Tori actually go back? Am I too late?" He didn't wait for the wolf's response, and instead bolted out of the door, following the orange glowing trail. This is weird. Night in a place where only twilight exists? No, don't tell me that somehow the Darkness followed me here.
Keyblade...Keyblade...
Conrí tsked his tongue and kept running, even though the night and the path before him seemed to keep stretching unnaturally before him. "I've got to be still dreaming, right?" He looked to his left, and saw Fenrir running alongside him. "Right, I'm dreaming, but, even so, I'm following her this time." The wolf boy skidded to a stop when there was a pathway of light next to him, the path of night in front of and behind him, and a portal between the two. The would be wolf king saw that the glowing orange was going into the portal. "If this really is a dream, then, there's no harm in entering the portal, right, Fen?"
The wolf dashed through the portal, making sure Conrí grabbed onto him. They fell through the portal together, and Conrí's breathing eased, though he didn't open his eyes, caught in sleep. A warm island breeze caressed his cheek. "Going home, right? When I wake up, we'll be back home, Fen..." The wolf boy muttered, unaware of what had happened to him, and he was in for a surprise when he woke.
