Lucia held on to her sister as she let the grief wash through her, finally unable to keep it bottled up. Tori's words sparked her anger once again, but something about her seemed off, something that "Chise" had apparently picked up on as well. She refrained from saying that she was lucky to be alive, that he could have leveled the entire forest in minutes had he chosen to.
It wasn't the time for such things, especially once Tori burst into tears as well, only to be comforted by Chise. Lucia turned back to her sister at that point, focusing on showing her support. The recent battles hadn't affected Lucia as much as Jen, but even she was tired. For now, she just held her sister and waited.

After a while, Tori stopped crying, but still didn't let go of Chiseko's embrace. The sound of glass shattering was, once again, heard, and Chiseko's figure faded into the small creature that was once in her shoulder. Akin to a plushie, Tori simply kept hugging it, but the creature didn't seem to be bothered by it.
"I'm really sorry... For everything..." Tori muttered, opening her eyes, somewhat still teary-eyed, "But... I honestly don't know what's going on anymore..."
Her apology was sincere, and she didn't dare look up at the two in front of her. She wouldn't mind if they left after what happened, since it was her fault to begin with.
"It's all my fault... So... That's why..." she closed her eyes, shuddering a bit, "That's why... I need to end this by myself..."

At some point Jennifer stopped crying. She didn't know when, but sometime after that she became aware of her sister holding her, the warmth comforting even through the grief. There she remained, safe and protected, until she heard Tori speak again.
Lucia looked at her sister in worry as she started to stir and opened her eyes, squinting in the light. Her gaze was met by a sad one from Jen, but something in her eyes lead her to release her and nod. Slowly Jen crawled over to Tori, still sniffling from the tears still on her face, until she was just out of reach. She stopped there not out of fear of harm, but of rejection, and her voice was raw as she spoke. "We didn't either, and I tried to end that fight myself too. But," fresh tears fell, less than before but still noticeable as her voice broke, "in the end all it did was cause the deaths of some of the people I cared for most. Please, please don't make the same mistake. Your friends and family are going to fight for you, even if you push them away. The only difference is you might save them if you're together."

Tori raised her eyes at Jen, in a bit of surprise. She wasn't expecting all that to be said by her, but it happened. She looked back down after she finished, thinking on anything to say, but the words just didn't come up. Chiseko instead took the iniciative.
"So, are you better now?" she asked Tori. "...Yeah..." Tori nodded slightly, "A bit better..."
Chiseko chuckled back a bit, and Tori, out of pure need, hugged her tighter, but quickly let go after noticing she'd been a bit too rough. An uneasy chuckle from both cooled things a bit, and Tori, now a bit more optimistic, raised her head at Jen. She was somewhat caught off-guard by seeing her cry, since she didn't think she'd be the type to do so. While she did look at her before, she noticed those tears just now.
"Ah... W-Were you... Crying...? S-Sorry..." she apologized once more.

Jennifer tried to smile as she wiped the new tears away, but only managed a small one. "It's not you're fault, not really." Lucia finally choose to rise and join the others, her own tears wiped away minutes before. "We've been though so much in such a short time, especially Jen."
Her voice, which had begun raw and cracked, quickly returned to most of its usual strength as she continued. "If you'll let us, we can help. At this point I'm not going to push you though; we're too broken to fight over it. It needs to be your decision, whichever way it goes."

Tori looked a bit unpleased, and jumped in to hug Jen, letting go of Chiseko as she did so. Tori on her end didn't say a thing, while Chiseko did groan a bit due to the fall.
"Tori, that hurt!" Chiseko said, struggling on the floor against her back. She quickly managed to pull it together and sat down, "But... I guess I'll let this one slide..." she added, chuckling. "Yeah... Sorry..." Tori replied, letting go of the quick hug. Sighing, she looked at the two sisters, "So... What now? I understand if you want to help and all, but... Chise already explained it, right? Besides... You two look a bit tired..."

Jennifer returned the hug, barely holding back another round of tears during the brief contact. Once she was released she finally rose to her feet, a little unsteady but still standing. "Thanks for the hug. You're right though, I'm so tired of all this..." She fell silent again, looking even more tired and worn than she sounded.
Lucia looked between Tori and Jen before sighing and reaching into her pocket. "We need to rest for a little while, time to recover at least some of our willpower. But here," she pulled out a small communicator and held it out, "this will allow you to contact us on any world, and we can make a Corridor to it. If you need help, or even just to talk, feel free to use it."

Tori held onto the communicator, looking at it with curiosity. Chiseko jumped back to her shoulder, as Tori stood back up, and looked at the two. For a few seconds, she looked away, before pulling away her hood, shaking her head a bit.
"I'll keep it in mind. We just gotta see if it'll work inside Illusions..." Tori chuckled, "So... Does this mean... You're leaving?" "Well, it was fun while it lasted!" Chiseko said, "Besides, you have new allies now, right? They're more than capable of lending a hand whenever they can!" "I know that... But, still... Saying 'goodbye' isn't the best of moments, don't you think?" "Hmm... I guess..."
Tori saved the communicator in her pocket, and looked at Jen and Lucia, a faint smile drawing itself on the corner of her lips. She was concerned about the two woman's state, but, since they were both tired, the most obvious outcome would be them going back to a place they can relax.
"H-Hey... Can you... Apologize to Jason in my stead?" Tori quickly remembered, "I'm... I'm really sorry about that... I dunno what got into me back then, so... Is it... possible you guys apologize for me?"

Just a little of Jen's usual mirth entered her eyes as Tori mentioned goodbyes. "Then just say 'see you later' instead. Oh and we... weren't fully honest with you on our introductions. I'm Jennifer Talec-O'Malley, the Burning Queen of New Yuio. You already know Lucia's full title though." She gave Tori her current best smile, which any other time would be halfhearted at best.
Lucia couldn't help but smirk a little at the title, the only one there that knew it was self given, before answering Tori's question. "I'll let him know, but you can tell him yourself with that, or next time we meet. You might want to do the same for ConrĂ. Seeing as he's my Apprentice now he'd likely be coming as well." Having said her piece, she created a Corridor behind her and turned to leave.
Jen beat her to it though, as she hesitated for a moment before speaking once more. "I can't make you an Apprentice as well, but if we're both better then next time I'll try to help you with that keyblade." Before Tori could reply she walked through, Jen's complaint about being hungry being cut off by the closing portal.

Tori kept smiling calmly, as the portal in front of her closed, and keeping their words to heart. Apologizing to Jason once they met again seemed... Hard at first, but who knew where Tori would be going next.
"In the end... They're really nice people..." she said aloud. "Sure are. They're really willing to help" Chiseko replied, smiling, "We'll just have to hope that communicator Lucia gave us works, right?" "Tee hee... Yeah... Also, you gotta get better at introducing yourself, Chise." "Wha... HEY!"
Tori simply laughed at Chiseko's embarrassement, and, patting her in the head softly, headed deep in the forest. Since her previous hideout was busted due to the fake finding it, Tori had to find another good hiding spot, one where people would rarely come by. She had a few ideas, most of them being in the island. A few random ideas, however, made her seem as if she had a screw loose.
"Hey, what if... I hide in another world? Would that help?" Tori asked aloud. "Keep dreaming, Tori. That'd only leave you open. Besides, you don't have your own means of travel yet, right?" Chiseko sighed. "Was worth a shot..."
Girl and Spirit kept on forward, discussing on where to go next. One thing for certain, however, was that their fight, along the others, was just getting started.
