Éirín pressed her lips together, nodded a bit when Lucia spoke about her brother, and was more than happy to be out of there. Still, the wolf girl had to clear her throat as soon as the warrior let on that she had understood the Tir Tairngirian that was used. The priestess thankfully was able to maintain her composure and not blush a bit, but, she also couldn't help shaking her head slightly. "Tell me, Lucia, has my brother ever referred to you or any of your friends or relations as part of his pack?" The thought amused her, slightly, but, knowing her brother, she could already guess that he had. "Because, if so, then, we are sisters, at this point. Familial ties on Tir Tairgire are not only those of blood."
Éirín absentmindedly twirled her staff in her hands, laughing a little. "But, yes, I knew you were teasing me a bit. Still, the more I can tell you about our history, the more you'll be able to understand just what it is your apprentice has to go through, in addition to his newfound duties as a Keyblade wielder." She stared at the crown half, knowing full well that her brother would need to hold this in his own hands if they ever had a hope of seeing their world again. "Though, for what it's worth, if I were into women, you'd probably be my type, and...well..." The priestess winked suggestively enough before giggling a little. "Truth is, I don't know that I'm not, but, you've your own life. Besides, teasing is fun, isn't it?"

Éirín's words rang with truth, and Lucia did recall both Conrí and Fenrir calling them a pack earlier, so she supposed that they were sisters in a sense. She had no idea how to be an elder sister though, especially to someone who was basically a goddess in training.
Actually, she knew three other people who were goddesses in training before, and none of them acted anything like her apprentice's sister. She couldn't help but giggle at the though of the four meeting.
She hesitated for a moment at Éirín's teasing, forcing herself to look closely at the girl's aura and thankfully finding no traces of that specific pattern within that would mean she was more serious. That would be awkward for both her and Seamus.
That settles, she chose to respond to the statement immediately previous the teasing even as she ignored the tease itself, though her grin proved that she acknowledged it, at the very least. "Alright, so what do I need to know to help Conrí, systir mín?"

Éirín focused on the field and the sun and sky quite intently. She knew not knowing how she felt about such things was okay, but, her blunt deck in particular flashed again in her head, showing her the Emperor standing in front of the Sun. The wolf girl groaned and rubbed her forehead with her fore and middle finger gently. Yeah, yeah, got it. If I actually manage to run into him, it'll basically be a miracle. That...still doesn't answer if it's one or both, deck. Almost in response, the deck flashed another card in her face--namely the Queen of Cups, which, started to turn from upright to reversed, but the priestess quickly shut that image out of her mind. You've been talking to the sassy one, haven't you? Éirín nearly missed Lucia's small smile to her tease, and had to clear her throat to keep herself from outright blushing for no apparent reason.
When the warrior asked her question rather bluntly, the wolf girl sighed in a bit of relief. She also noticed just how easily Lucia seemed to be able to call her sister after she had given her explanation of her people's lifestyles. "Basically, that wasn't my da. Well, it was, but...kind of sealed in a bubble. In stasis. When Tir Tairngire is threatened, it enters a similar kind of bubble. I suspect the reason why it hasn't woken from its slumber is because the king hasn't laid claim to the throne properly to wake it up. I also suspect that Conrí is on the path of not just the kings, but, the path that will put the kingdom in touch with its roots when legends became kings because of their heroism. That is why the Keyblade chose him."
The priestess stopped her speech to take a breath. "Also, this half of the crown must be presented by a sister to the would be king. Only then should his path become absolutely clear. Because he thinks me dead, the duty likely falls on you." The wolf girl found herself almost tearing up at this. "It never was going to be my duty, had that demon in that bubble had his way." She shook her head slightly and reminded herself that goddesses, frankly, do not cry openly.
"In theory, if you wish to shirk this duty, no one would ever know. I admit that I respect your power, but, that version of da in there was but a fraction of his true self. A hero fallen from grace has to be strong, after all, even if dark and twisted."

Lucia listened once more to Éirín's explanations, understanding them well enough to follow along at the very least. That kind of information had always interested her, especially given the secret she had barely learned of as a member of the Elemental Council before Celderat's fall.
She waited until she was certain the girl was done, only to move to hug her the instant she fell silent. "Hey, even goddesses cry sometimes. It's fine, let it out." She waited until she was sure she was done before stepping back with a confident grin on her face. "Oh, and if you think for a second that handing that crown to my apprentice is anyone's duty but yours, you're very mistaken. As for whatever version of your dad we'll have to face, surely you realize that was barely any of my own power?"

Éirín rounded on Lucia when she finished speaking. She nearly glared at her newfound sister, despite having had her cry in Lucia's arms moments before. The wolf girl knew that it was going to be her duty to present her brother with the path forward, but, in one aspect, she was extremely similar to him. The priestess still had her pride. She bit her lip, despite clenching her fist before regaining some of her cool composure. Éirín cleared her throat and looked down at her feet.
"I know that was a fraction of your might, sister. However, while I appreciate the help, I don't think you fully understand. This crown half will link up to another on Tir Tairngire. When that happens, Conrí will be able to access the world's core again. When that happens, he will be locked in a battle with the previous king. Away from all of us. Even his mate. Even me. It is his duty to face this one fight on his own." The wolf girl dabbed at her eyes with her sleeve and exhaled. "Sorry about my outburst. I guess I have something in common with the sheepdog after all. Me pride."

The grin slid into a more serious look as Lucia learned the specifics of what was to come, and why her power wouldn't amount to much in this case. She almost mentioned her Heart Dive, but she doubted it would help bypass that, if it worked at all. "Well, I suppose I'd better teach him well then, shouldn't I?"
Ever the optimist, she winked at Éirín as a hint of a smile returned, quickly followed by a dismissing wave of her hand. "It's alright, sis. At least you don't set everything in a 10 foot radius on fire when you get pissed like Jen does. It's a good thing she rarely gets that mad."

"Fortunately, he already figured out he needed to know where his base power is. He had enough sense to try and get Jason to spar with him. Unfortunately, his mate won't be that much of a problem for him too much longer. The madra caorach actually managed to impress me. He managed to not end up on his arse because of me for once." Éirín gave a bit of a chuckle at this. She supposed the hug and the smile and the wink had done something to comfort her.
When the wolf girl heard about the sheer destruction, she actually smirked. "Put my brother against her sometime. Also, the one who sees time, make sure he lets his son train with Conrí, too. The sheepdog needs to have his body pushed past its limits. That's if he wants to survive with any of you long enough. Old man Lugus is too much of a sap. Had the eejit never made the request in the first place, none of this would have happened. He would have been able to forget about the kingdom that scorns him." A sigh passed through the priestess and she shook her head. "He asked to be on my level, so, get him there. If that happens, he might survive against our old man. Also, I know Jason is going to hate this idea, but, I also need you to try to break Conrí mentally. There are memories he has that I was never contaminated with due to a lack of exposure...Éiriú rest mam's soul."
The look Éirín gave Lucia seemed hard and matter of fact on the outside, but, the wolf girl hoped that she wouldn't look too hard at her eyes, where she was somewhat able to contain most of the heartache from her aura.

Lucia's eyebrows rose in surprise at the mention of what could only be Derio, though it did make sense given the mention of Riley earlier. She was beginning to suspect that Conrí's prayer had involved more than he and Jason however, especially considering Éirín's words.
She frowned at the girl's request of her however, decidedly unhappy with the idea of breaking her apprentice inn any fashion. Looking closer at his sister proved to her that she disliked the idea just as much, at least. "I can give him the strength of body to stand is ground in any fight, and the strength of mind to face any fear or memory, but I will not break him. if need be I'll take him to Castle Oblivion to face those memories, but I'll be supporting him the entire way. In that I'll not yield."

"Oh, yes, my dear sister, I hope you are speaking the truth, and, I know you are. I'm just hoping it's enough." Éirín tsked her tongue against her teeth. That had come out much too harsh for how she meant it, but, she hoped that the warrior would be able to see her worry within her eyes, and the bit of it that leaked out into her aura. "My apologies." The wolf girl tilted her head slightly when Lucia mentioned Castle Oblivion. That idea had certainly never occurred to her. "Very well, then, we can do it that way."
Another flash of her cards practically forced her into thinking about her mystery lover, wherever they might be, but, she shook herself back into focus on the task at hand. But, still, the accompanying flash of blue-grey eyes and red hair that she saw made her blush and clear her throat. "Apologies, my deck sometimes gets ahead of itself."

Yet again Lucia was glad for her Auric Sight. Without it she likely would have been very defensive about Éirín's response, rather than sympathetic. "Hey, I was able to teach myself to hold my own years before I had full control of my Elements. I can do the same for him, and those basic's will help him use his abilities far better."
She noticed the blush, as well as the accompanying shift in the girl's aura, but chose not to comment on it, though she couldn't help but give a knowing smirk still. Suddenly she became aware again of where she was and what was happening elsewhere, stretching restlessly as the urge to do something began to fill her once more. "Sorry, it's not that you or this place are boring, but I need to blow off a bit more steam before returning to the others. Are you going to stay here, or would you like to come with me? I assume you have duties here, so I won't feel slighted if you decline."

Éirín forced her lips to part in a taught smile as Lucia spoke. She stifled a sigh of relief, barely, as the warrior still agreed to help her out, and tried to be reassuring about it. "You've my thanks for that, and I will trust you, my sister." As Lucia gave her a small, knowing smirk, the wolf girl's blush deepened for a moment until a cooling sensation came over her. The priestess was well aware that the Keyblade Master knew that something had just happened. "If...you must know, my priestess deck likes to show me...flashes of my future." She cleared her throat, thankful that her voice hadn't quite begun to shake or quiver. "This particular glimpse seemed to indicate that there is someone out there. Destined to find me. Though, for one, my brother's rite of passage should come first, if I feel like being a good sister, that is."
Éirín barked out a laugh at herself, as well as to what Lucia said. "This place sucks. It's okay. I get bored, too. So, sure, I'll go with you. Lead the way, Lucia."

Lucia nodded in sympathy as Éirín explained about her deck. "I prefer not to know much about the future, to be honest. General paths and possibilities are fine, but the temptation to try to change bad things would be too much for me." She looked away slightly as she recalled the origin of that particular opinion, a touch of guilt evident in her aura.
A moment later she sighed and shook her head slightly before putting it behind her again and giving her new friend a smirk.n "Anyhow," a gesture of her now natural-feeling mechanical arm opened a Corridor, "shall we go? There's always something to kill in the Great Maw, and it'll be far enough from the house that the others shouldn't sense us." Without looking back she walked forward, into the swirling Darkness.

Éirín looked at Lucia and noticed the guilt in the woman's aura after hearing her opinions on the future and what it held. The wolf girl's head spun a bit. I certainly don't remember being given a choice. It came with being able to escape that...sacrifice.Still, the priestess kept her thoughts to herself and masked her aura a bit. It was clear the warrior really wanted to just be off this world, from the way she was standing. "I can understand why you feel that way, sister. Unfortunately, my ability just came to me. But, it shall be what it is." Her voice stayed surprisingly level.
When Lucia mentioned the Great Maw, Éirín caught a flash of the Tower and Lovers cards and fought back a groan. "Sounds great. I could use some exercise, anyway." As Lucia opened the portal, the wolf girl eyed it warily. It almost reminded her of the times where her dreams seemed like reality, but, she shook her head and decided to follow Lucia through the portal, regardless. Nothing ventured, nothing gained, after all. The wry thought seemed to echo in her mind as the darkness enveloped her.
