Character Gender: (undisclosed) If called "he" or "she", they will respond to either.
About the Character
Character Personality:
The Zealous Warrior is rather aptly named--a devoted follower to the light, and willing to cut down any soul that stands to cast a shadow upon it. They are commonly seen as a brave and kind-hearted hero with a strong sense of justice, morality and righteousness. They appear to adhere to a strict moral code often attributed to the small town values--Truth, Justice, and a dedication to the Light. Their commitment to operating within the laws of the realm has been an example to many other heroes but has stirred resentment among others, who refer to them as the "Golden Example." The Zealous Warrior is often associated with images of saving folks from burning buildings, shielding them from harm in the oncoming onslaught of a Heartless assault, and performing good deeds--a poster-perfect image for propaganda, promoting the goodly lifestyle of the denizens of light. To the Zealous Warrior, and those who would pledge their lives to the cause of those they claim to protect, an existence free of wrongdoing and cruelty is the only one that matters...for one misstep, one misplaced thought, could bring the forces of Darkness back unto their realm.
The Warrior traverses worlds with their small band of loyal followers, spreading the word of how to combat the Darkness and protecting those who would otherwise be too powerless to do so themselves. Those that the Warrior find lacking in faith, or potentially damaging to their image, are quickly turned upon by not only the followers at their heels, but the very people who lived alongside the would-be nay-sayers--cast out of their homes and societies out of the fear that their doubt or corruption would attract the Heartless once again to their doorsteps.
The Zealous Warrior is a tactician with little peer--thinking several steps ahead of their opponent, and utilizing their tools accordingly to assure their victory. It is difficult to say whether or not the Zealous Warrior is manipulative, or if they truly believe the words they preach. What can only be certain is that their mission to utterly extinguish the stench of Darkness cannot, and will not, be left incomplete as long as they draw breath.
Character Appearance:

Battle Statistics
Character Position (Hero/Neutral/Villain): Lawful Good(?)
It's quite possible the Zealous Warrior believes themselves to be good...but are they?
Character Spells:
None.
The Zealous Warrior cannot use magic now, nor will they ever be able to do so. They are limited entirely to their abilities.
Character Abilities:
Defensive Ability #1
Name: Glass Mirror Bounce
Description: The Zealous Warrior may deploy a reflective piece of glass onto the field, which bounces a spell or ability that has missed back in a specific direction. This direction cannot be changed. The ability or spell being effected by this, as well as the direction it is being redirected towards, must be specified in the post for it to work. If no spell/ability or direction is specified, the Mirror Bounce is wasted. Spells or abilities with a power greater than level 3 spells (Firaga, ect) will immediately override this ability. Enemy spells/abilities cannot be reflected back towards their caster.
Ability Cast Time: 1 Turn
Lasts: 1 Turn.
Cool Down: 5 Turns
Offensive Ability #2
Name: Tactical Deployment
Description: The Zealous Warrior drops a capsule onto the ground--a clear orb with a faint, colored glow in its center. The stronger the effect of the capsule, the more brightly it will glow. The description of the color of said capsule MUST be described to specify the element associated. (IE: Red capsules will be Fire, Green will be Wind, ect. This stipulation is to ensure there is no confusion on the part of allies or opponents.) Capsules dropped onto the ground will detonate after two (2) turns. Capsules can be destroyed early by magic or physical attacks--but will deal damage if they are too close within range. (5 ft) Destroyed capsules will deal damage to anybody nearby, whether they be allies, enemies, or bystanders.
Ability Cast Time: 1 Turns
Lasts: 2 Turns
Cool Down: 6 Turns
Offensive Ability #3
Name: Broken Glass
Description: The Zealous Warrior breaks any Glass Panels (Any ability with the word "Glass" in its name), rendering them unusable. The resulting explosion of glass shards deals light damage to anything nearby (allies, enemies, structures, ect.) within a five foot (5ft) radius for every Glass Panel broken, and scatters broken glass onto the field. The point in which this AoE begins is on the caster, and not where the panels stood previously. (Otherwise this skill would be INSANELY broken.) Allies, enemies, and bystanders who enter the area where the broken glass has fallen take minor damage for every turn they are within the limits of this area. (10ft for every Glass ability shattered) During the time that this ability is activated, the Zealous Warrior cannot summon any additional Glass Panels.
Ability Cast Time: 2 turns (Once to prep, and once to set down)
Lasts: 3 turns
Cool Down: 8 turns
Support Ability #4
Name: Miracle Potion
Description: The Zealous Warrior drinks a peculiar potion. All abilities with cooldowns active have their cooldowns reduced by 2 turns. The Zealous Warrior may elect to grant their Miracle Potion to an ally.
Ability Cast Time: 1 Turn
Lasts: 1 Turn
Cool Down: Once Per Thread
Offensive Ability #5
Name: Glass Panel -- Reflection
Description: The Zealous Warrior summons a pair of glass panels--one beneath themselves, and one beneath a living target of their choosing. Upon the next turn, regardless of whether or not the target has moved from the panel, the target and the Zealous Warrior switch placements. The targets will still be facing and/or moving the same direction they were before the ability has gone off.
Ability Cast Time: 2 turns (Once to prep, and once to set down)
Lasts: 1 turn
Cooldown: 6 turns
Support Ability #6
Name: Glass Panel -- Refraction
Description: The Zealous Warrior Summons three (3) panels with arrows marked upon them. These directions MUST be specified, in order the panels appear, or the ability is canceled and goes on cooldown. The Zealous Warrior may place these panels under/near themselves, allies, or enemies. Once a living object steps on these panels, they are forced to move ten (10) feet the direction the panel has dictated--however, they may decide to face another direction or be moving in another direction when this ability goes off. (IE: If a panel directs the next person touching it moves left, they must then move that direction, but can elect to turn themselves to face their right instead.) If these panels are not touched by a living object within their duration, they will explode, dealing damage to allies, enemies, or bystanders. These panels can be broken with a basic attack.
Ability Cast Time: 2 Turns (Once to prep, and once to set down)
Lasts: 2 turns
Cooldown: 7 turns
Offensive Ability #7
Name: Faux Magick -- Basic Elements
Description: The Zealous Warrior stores capsules on their person, containing specific element types. By combining these capsules with other ingredients, they can be loaded into the compartment within their weapons and released in what appears to be magic. These capsules, when fired, mimic the appearance and effects of magic. Weapons can only hold one (1) capsule at a time, or risk the weapon exploding. It takes an additional turn to reload these capsules back into the Zealous Warrior's weapon. Each "spell" travels at a medium distance, dealing light damage, and is about the size of a soccer ball when fired.
(See Weapons for specifics)
Ability Cast Time: 2 Turn (Once to prep, and once to "cast".)
Lasts: 1 Turn.
Cool Down: 2 Turns
Passive Ability #8
Name: Reflection Warp
Description: At any point, the Zealous Warrior may warp a "Glass Panel" summon on the field.
Ability Cast Time: 1 Turn
Lasts: 1 Turn
Cool Down: 2 Turns
Support Ability #9
Name: Looking Glass
Description: The Zealous Warrior summons a panel reflecting their image. It inherits the Health and Cooldowns of the Zealous Warrior at the time it was summoned forth. (IE: If the Warrior is at 50% HP when the panel is called forth, the panel will also have 50% HP, ect.) The Zealous Warrior may switch their stats with this mirror image as long as it remains standing and intact. (Like regular glass, this panel can be broken by basic attacks.) Breaking this panel early will trigger its cooldown.
Ability Cast Time: 1 turn
Lasts: (until broken)
Cooldown: 15 turns
Support Ability #10
Name: Synthesize Ammo
Description: Once the Zealous Warrior has COMPLETELY run out of capsules through either "Faux Magic" or "Tactical Deployment", they can take three (3) turns to craft another three (3) capsules. If they are struck during this time, they take twice the damage from the attack, as the components of these capsules are incredibly explosive in nature.
Ability Cast Time: 3 turns
Lasts: N/A
Cooldown: 6 turns
Character Forms/Command Styles:
The Zealous Warrior cannot access Styles or Forms, nor will they be able to in the future.
Character Weapons:
Self-imposted stipulation -- The Zealous Warrior cannot have more than one weapon out at a time.
Imperial Grand Golden Key: A sword that is fashioned to mimic the appearance of a Keyblade. It has a compartment for storing small capsules near the hilt, and several buttons for lights, compacting the weapon into a compressed state, mixing two capsules, launching them, or discarding them hidden cleverly in the design. A Keyblade user with experience would easily be able to tell its false make by holding it in their hand. If struck too hard, or by the magicks of another Keyblade, it would likely break or crack.
Its physical power, attack range, and magical potential are immense--however it lacks severely in terms of durability and speed.
"Justice" and "Purity": A pair of gun-like weapons. Their designs seem to mimic the Imperial Grand Golden Key, almost as if its creator were trying to fool people into believing these weapons had form-changed from the false Keyblade...
"Deliverance": A sniper rifle-like weapon that fires at a long distance. Its design seem to mimic the Imperial Grand Golden Key, almost as if its creator were trying to fool people into believing these weapons had form-changed from the false Keyblade...
Mysteriously Crafted Capsules -- Marble-sized spheres of energy...made from the synthesis of various parts from fallen foes.
Available capsules -- Fire, Wind, Water, Thunder, & Blizzard (Basic spells in their basic forms, with their basic damage. The only difference between these capsules is the elemental damage. The size, speed, and damage of these capsules are all the same, and do not have additional effects.)
At the beginning of each battle, Zealous Warrior starts off with two (2) of each capsule.
The Zealous Warrior can only carry ten (10) capsules on their person at a time.
Synthesits's Tools: A pouch of heavy Synthesist's Tools. Used for making repairs to enchanted weaponry. Could be thrown at someone in a pinch. Why such a dignified fighter with such awesome power would carry these on their person is a mystery...
Character Summons:
Name: Glass Copy
Description: A copy of the Zealous Warrior, made from a more durable glass. At first glance, they appear nearly identical...until one is struck, and the copy begins to crack. It does not have any abilities of its own, and only attacks physically. It seems to be much slower, and acts far more cautiously, as if it doesn't want to be hit... It can be broken with four (4) strikes made to it, each cracking the copy until it breaks entirely.
Ability Cast Time: 2 turns
Lasts: Until Broken
Cooldown: 15 turns

Character History:
Radiant Garden was home to many a soul, in the time when Ansem the Wise ruled its borders...before the Heartless, and Maleficent claimed its grounds for themselves. It is thought that one such soul was the child of the local item shopkeeps--though none could tell you the name, or even describe their face.
The child was raised a tinkerer--a creator thought to have a bright future ahead of them, who was a natural with making useful things. Their family was in close ties with the mysterious Moogles who had populated the realms, gifted with magicks and knowledge to make amazing items--and it was this ability that only caused the child's curiosity to grow, and their hunger to learn grew immensely. In their older years, as they moved from a youth to a teenager, the youngster created more and more interesting items, selling their wares in their parents' shop, to the delight of those who had taught and raised them. A bright and joyous love shone in the hearts of the citizens of the realm...and they believed themselves blessed to live in such magnificent times.
But all who know of Radiant Garden, know of the tragedy what soon was to come.
And so did the Heartless descend upon the world, devouring all that they came into contact with. For all that any knew, the child, their parents, and the many others who had lived near the town square had been swallowed by the inky seas...never to resurface again.
Upon the cobblestone streets of Traverse Town did a nameless, homeless youth appear that very same day...but not the same that had watched their home sink into the dark abyss. There was no longer a spark of glee in their eyes, nor a kindness upon all things in their heart, but a deep and burning hatred--a rage for which no fire could quench... A fury that was likely softened by the kindness of familiar, Moogle faces, taking them into their own place of business as one of theirs.
Thus so did the passage of time march onwards...and as the years turned on, the nameless teenager became a nameless adult--one skilled and intimate in the ways of goldsmithing, armory, metalworking, alchemy, weaving, and woodworking. With their hands did the nameless soul craft incredible works of art--dolls rendered in lifelike detail, carvings lavishly and lovingly varnished, clockwork pieces with cogs moving in breathtaking symmetry, and blades crafted in a pristine fashion... But time had done little to ease the aching in the denizen of Radiant Garden's chest. Like a rot, it had festered too long...and though each piece they worked upon soothed them for a moment, time sought to unravel the threads of comfort having a new home had brought. Hearsay of attacks within the town from shadowed figures did little to ease their mind, and nightmares of beady, golden eyes plagued their slumber...
Until they had finally had enough. Word of spreading Darkness had not ceased in over ten years...no sign or hope of a savior come to protect the innocent or unable--those who had been as they were, once. The nameless soul could not fight...not yet...but they could give some advantage to their mortal coil. They had the tools. They could reforge themselves...into the hero that the realms needed.
And so did the faceless one pour themselves into their new purpose...years of research and forging, crafting and sweat...into the legends of the Keyblade, and those who had once held their powers...into the Darkness, and its nature...and into the story of the hope of all worlds...Kingdom Hearts.
In their isolation did a once kindly, innocent youth become something much crueler...twisted into a creature unrecognizable by family or friends. No longer was the child who had once tinkered lovingly on trinkets, or the sweet soul who had lovingly crafted works of art within the worlds...but a maddened spirit thirsting for revenge...drunk on the stories of eld, and believing themselves to be a savior.
Thus did the Zealous Warrior find their way into the worlds...for no monsters simply appear out of nowhere. Like the most delicate and beautiful pieces of art...monsters are forged, and crafted.
They could not kill Heartless...not directly, not permanently. No, no matter how they strained, they could not replicate the magicks of the Keyblade. But it presented enough of a convincing show to tell people otherwise...and who was to say one Shadow was different from another? None could tell by appearance alone, after all... And so did word spread of the soul in the golden armor, fighting off the Darkness from the realms. Rumors became stories. Stories became truth. Soon did many come, from across the worlds, looking to fight beneath the banner of the one the people called the Zealous Warrior--for so dedicated to serving the light were they, that neither sleep, nor injury, nor hunger would stop their glorious crusade...
Do you stand under the banner of the Light? Or do you dare to hide in the shadows...?
Writing Portion
Sample Post:
-- Army of Light Encampment, The Land of Dragons --
The Army of Light moved often. A fleet of large transport ships near-constantly ready, brimming with volunteers, supplies, and hope, traveling from world to world in search of their next grandiose battle. There were so many now...Caedo noted the sheer number of youths in their number...idealistic children looking to play the hero. It was heartwarming, to be sure...but so many of them had no idea the severity and callousness of the war which they had designated themselves to fight. How many had they lost at the Pass earlier today? Stewart was likely still tallying up the numbers, but they had been severe.
Caedo made her way up to the Commanding Tent, the one place she knew they would be...their glorious leader, the Zealous Warrior. Moving aside the opening flap, with a curt nod to the pair guarding the outside, the onyx-haired woman folded her arms across her torso, and waited to be called upon. There was but a single curtain standing between her and the face of their leader...a private and deeply spiritual soul. Caedo had served the Zealous Warrior for nearly three years now, and never once had she caught a glimpse of the one she followed...neither had anybody else, for that matter. There were rumors that their leader had taken a solemn oath to never again show their face, until the last shred of Darkness had been erased...others claimed they were too terribly disfigured to be seen without deep disturbance...others still believed that there was nothing inside the golden armor but the very spirit of a Keyblade Warrior long since fallen...the metal the only thing keeping their presence intact on this plane. Caedo didn't care what the reason was...only that the information she needed to disclose was of importance...and that the price for simply barging in on their commander was exile. That was, after all, how she'd landed the position she was in now...
"Caedo," the voice of the Warrior called, from the other side of the fabric. She could see them motioning at her. "Speak freely."
"Your Radiance," the woman replied, with a quick bow. "My apologies for disturbing you. The Neoshadows from the Snowy Pass have returned. They appear to be moving towards the Soldier's Encampment. We are still licking our wounds from today's skirmish with them. Shall we--"
"Get the fourteenth regiment placed in forward position, between the Encampment and the Neoshadows," The Zealous Warrior told her, their tone sharp. "I want a forward scout, the fastest we can muster, to monitor their movements. I will be on the field shortly, after I have dressed these wounds..."
"W-with all due respect, Your Eminence," Caedo retorted, somewhat stunned, "but you mean to return to the field? I witnessed that blow myself, and I believe it unwise--"
"Doubt in ones' self and in others," the other quipped, standing upright behind the curtain, "leads one down a dark path. I would be beside myself if I thought you lost to such a terrible Darkness."
Caedo felt the hairs on her arms stand, slightly. They were right, of course. Doubt lead to distrust in others, and distrust to Darkness...and Darkness to destruction. She'd seen their leader stand up from attacks far worse than the one she'd witnessed...How could she not have full faith in the Warrior? Caedo silently cursed her weakness as the glittering figure of the Zealous one moved past the fabric and into the open. She could not see their eyes...but she could feel them resting upon her, their gaze sharp and cutting.
"Do not dismiss yourself so," her leader told her, firmly. "There is some weakness in us all. Only Kingdom Hearts herself is unflawed."
"Of course, Your Radiance," Caedo confirmed, nodding. "Thank you for your wisdom."
-- Outside the Soldier's Encampment, The Land of Dragons --
The massive, hulking figure of a Heartless shaped in the fashion of a paper dragon, appearing as a lantern from a distance, hovered overhead...dropping platoons of Soldier Heartless onto the battlefield. The natives of the realm had been unprepared for an aerial assault...no fault of their own, given their limited advancements in technology and inexperience with the Heartless on their soil, the Zealous Warrior knew. With the Army of Light and their forces combined, the twin camps were managing to fend off the bulk of the enemy's forces...but without tending to the main threat, the "paper" dragon--one the locals had named "Seiryu"...they would eventually become overwhelmed.
The Imperial Grand Golden Key cut through some several Shadows--mere footmen for the main assault--as the Warrior watched the main antagonist descend from the skies once again. It could easily out maneuver the clumsy cannon fire coming forth from the Soldier's Camp--Heartless were not particular about fatal heights when dropping. There was no immediate way to reach such a distant foe...unless...
The Zealous Warrior muttered to themselves, their thumb jamming onto a button placed at the grip of their weapon of choice. Mere moments later did a panel of glass appear in the sky...still below the level of the Heartless bombarding them, but close enough to be considered beneath it. If they could but time this correctly... The Warrior thumbed their communications link.
"Direct the local soldiers to fire ten feet below the Seiryu's current position," they directed. "On my signal."
"Yes, Your Radiance!"
Slowly, very carefully, the Warrior positioned themselves. They'd have to be exact on where the other panel was placed...thankfully, none of the enemy had realized the potential threat but mere feet away from them... They would get but one chance before they realized what had happened and keep the remainder of their panels at bay...
"Your Radiance, we're in position!"
The Warrior placed down the second panel, shouting into their communicator simultaneously.
"Fire!"
The thunder of cannons was nearly deafening over the sound of the battle around them, but as the iron spheres sailed into the air, the Seiryu found its position switched with the second panel...directly into their line of fire. It did not take too much to hear the death throes of their enemy as it came into contact with the flaming metal, the explosion of gunpowder crackling in the air, their foe descending at what was potentially a fatal speed. With a ground-shattering crash, Seiryu toppled to the earth, a smoking, inky mess. Nearby, the Army of Light cheered, a roar of victory, as the lesser Heartless realized their commander had been toppled...and began sinking into the nightly abyss in defeat.
"Three cheers for the Warrior! Three cheers for Light!"
"Hip hip--"
"Hooray!"
"Hip hip--"
"Hooray!!"

"Hip hip--"
"Hooray!"
"Hip hip--"
"Hooray!!"
