Ichihara
Friend of mine said it meant "world tree's flower" or something which was fitting for the main inspiration source. Don't think that's true now but if it ain't broke don't fix it right?
Characters
Charlotte Rosa Dèsirèe
Fasilli?- haven't decided yet
World Info
--As hinted by Charlotte's history, Magic was especially powerful in Ichihara in Elemental form. Elemental Magic was so potent that they are governed by Spirits associated to each one. At the earliest time in the world's history, casting ANY magic was the equivalent to invoking a prayer to a deity. Music was also a major factor while doing so, which was to "pay" the elemental spirit whose power you were calling upon. (I don't have an in-character reason why right now).
--At some point, there was a great war of magic. Which only ended after the destruction of "The Goddess Tree" which provided the world with much of it's magical power.
--With the waning of magic, others looked to more "scientific" means of obtaining "power" or insight. Magic had not been extinguished from the world with The Goddess Tree being destroyed, it was just weaker. As the sciences and technology grew, the magical forces that governed the world continued to decline. Both Magic and Technology do not get along, currently.
--The world has grown into a kind of "Industrial Era" with elements of steampunk, with sprinkles of purely Fantasy Elements still intact. (Currently all of the DND races are applicable for what peoples live in Ichihara)
