Lucia looked around in awe at the destruction before it suddenly faded into what was clearly the top floor. smirking, she looked toward the ceiling with a whisper. "Apology accepted, castle."
The instant the village shifted away Rand breathed a sigh of relief, allowing Zavilat'a'Aman to revert before dismissing it and releasing saidin. Instantly his exhaustion hit, causing him to stumble slightly from Éirín's hug.
He was confused by her sudden withdrawl, but instantle understood when he saw Ailill apporoach. The bond told him everything he needed to know, and so he took the man's hand in his. Sending love through both bonds, he pulled his old friend into a tight embrace before kissing him lightly.
Instantly he felt the need to deepen the kiss, but he drew on his willpower and ended it after a moment, speaking softly. "I have to help them see ths through, Ailill. We can talk later, once I come back."
Releasing him, Rand walked to Éirín's side, leaning down to kiss her as he had Ailill. "Please, never think I love you any less because of my love for Ailill or the others. You are all equal in my eyes. Not interchangable to be sure, but still equal."
Jason waited until the Vagabond returned to control to revert to his base form. "Welcome back, Vagabond. Yeah, we won, and it seems like the castle took us to the top floor as an apology. Conrí, Éirín, Rand, and I need to go through this door by ourselves though. Lucia," he turned to his childhod friend with a small smile, "can you take them to the ship? You an introduce them to Jen and Mink while we take care of this."
With an answering smile and a nod Lucia opened a Corridor of Darkness to the outside of the castle. Thinking for a moment, she added Light to the swirling mass and was pleased to watch it become a Corridor of Twilight instead. Satisfied, she then tossed Jason a large flask of glowing, golden liquid. "Here, use this. Don't do anything crazy with those hearts inside you, alright?" She looked at the Vagabond, then at Ailill. "Let's get some food. They've got this."
Just as she was about to walk through the Corridor she paused and turned to Éirín, snapping her fingers. " Oh, I just remembered! You should probably tell Conrí everything before you go in there. And Conrí," she turned to her first aprentice with a confident look, "you've got this. Don't give in, don't back down. I know you can do it."
With that, she turned back and strode through the new Corridor of Twilight, feeling the familiar energy comfort her before emerging near the Alyson.

Ailill shuddered when Lews stepped toward him. He felt a shiver go up his back once he felt the feelings that flowed through there. His heart started to pound when Lews started to get closer to his face. Things seemed to go out of focus except for his eyes, but then the cloaked man felt their lips touch. He started to hum lowly, and he felt that the desire to deepen the kiss was there. When Lews backed away, Ailill sighed contentedly and nearly leaned into the red haired man happily before steadying himself.
"Therin, please make sure that you do come back, because I don't want to lose you again." The man smiled sheepishly and couldn't hide his blushing. He looked at Lucia when she mentioned food, but he stared at the portal warily. He wanted to wait for Therin and the others come back, out of principle. He finally looked at the wolf girl with a question on his face. Would he be allowed in, or would she want him to stay out of it?
Éirín blushed when Rand kissed Ailill. It wasn't a blush of jealousy, but rather something closer to an attraction to both of them. When Rand came back over to her and kissed her, the wolf girl found herself having a similar reaction to Ailill. She grinned and shook her head. "I don't feel anything like that. It's just different from where I saw myself. But, I'm definitely not upset with either of you or the others. I believe all of you care for each other equally. That said, Ailill, I want you to come with us, because I don't want to keep secrets anymore."
The priestess smiled at Lucia, but shuddered at the thought of having to tell Conrí everything before going into that room. She sighed, decided to not follow the woman's advice and turned toward the door and placed her hand on the right door's handle. Her heart felt like it was about to explode in her stomach.
Conrí stopped hugging Jason. Tears still threatened to stream down his cheeks. He stepped back and looked at Lucia and nodded. "Right, I can handle it. Whatever it is." The wolf boy looked at his sister and sighed. He walked up to the left door and put his hand on the handle. "On three?"
The priestess smiled tightly and nodded. "Three."
"Two."
"One."
The door creaked open and both of the wolf siblings stepped in to the blinding light trusting that their loved ones would be close behind.
An older man with a scar under an eyepatch sat on a throne down a plush carpeted hallway and smirked at the group.

Relief eased the exhaustion coursing through his body. His limbs and chest still ached, his head pounding to the point where it was hard to hear, but at the end of the day, he was alive. Hm…well, maybe. Was he really, though? What kind of existence was this? One mixed with the dark side of things, a mockery of a human being. A mockery of a shadow. A bitter taste flooded his mouth before Jason filled him in on what had happened. ”The top floor—huh?” The hooded man mumbled to himself, lifting a hand to his throbbing head. It seemed he was to follow the Paladin to whatever ship this large party had. We’re meeting more people? The thought filled him with dread. He almost disliked dealing with people as much as combat.
Sighing and slumping himself in defeat for a moment, the Vagabond pushed himself up from the ground, dusting himself off. Gravity seemed heavy on him as he flinched and winced from the strain. Fumbling in his many pockets, the man revealed a small bottle of glowing green liquid. Opening the cap, the hooded vagrant upturned the bottles contents into his shadowed mouth, gulping at it as though it were water. A faint green aura surrounded him, magical leaves falling from nowhere and vanishing within a flash as he felt physical relief. His head still ached, and his heart hurt, but most of the pain had subsided. The Hi-Potion was his personal favorite.
Hastening to follow Lucia’s instructions, the Vagabond made his way toward the Twilight Gate that she had created. Taking a moment to turn towards the others, the man held up a peace sign before barking out a laugh. ”Thanks for the help, everyone. Stay lively~” With that he waved a small goodbye before turning to follow Lucia and Ailill through the portal, wondering where it would lead them.
How many bizarre worlds had he been to now? How many people would he continue being indebted to?

Jason and Rand glanced at each other at Éirín's request, sharing a silent conversation before nodding and following the siblings. Rand grabbed Ailill's hand as they went, squeezing gently.
Jason took one look at the man on the throne, then tossed the Megalixer into the air to mist everyone. "So, you're the bastard I've heard so much about." His tone echoed that of his memory, though it seemed far more controlled than that.
Lucia heard about Ailill staying and nodded, closing the Corridor once the Vagabond followed her. Steppng forward once, she turned to him and gestured to the crimson ship behind her. "This is my ship, the Alyson. Let's get in so you can meet my sister and kid."
The ramp lowered as they approached, a shorter androgynous person wearing a hoodie the color of the ship and a matching headband on the ther side. Their purple eyes looked from Lucia to the Vagabond with a slight amount of indifference before they spoke. "Hey mom. Hey Vagabond. I'll let Aunt Jen know you're back."
"No need, Mink." A woman with bright blonde hair and a white denim jacket and jeans joined them at the entrance, smiling brightly. "Nice to meetcha! I'm Jennifer Talec-O'Malley, Lucia's older sister and the Burning Queen of New Yuio. Want anything to eat?"

Ailill gently squeezed Lews's hand back, grateful that the man had grabbed his hand. The cloaked man stared at both Rand and Jason, questioning why he felt relieved from the mist in the air, and why he felt so much anger coming from the red haired man. Jason clearly wasn't fairing much better, according to that tone of his. Ailill had remembered taking that tone before, what could have been considered many lives ago.
The cloaked man embraced saidin and tried to not stagger slightly as he did so. "Blood and ashes, I need to be Healed by Tamara soon. I will do what I can, for her sake." His gaze fell on the wolf girl a few steps in front of him, and he thought he saw her tremble.
Éirín barely held her composure once Jason had spoken, and simply seeing the man sit in front of her made her shiver. She wanted to turn, grab Rand's hand and run, but she caught sight of her brother standing next to her and held her ground. "Brother, this is how I remember father," the wolf girl barely whispered. She whined when the man stood and started to walk down the hall toward them.
Conrí flicked his gaze to Jason quickly, somewhat disturbed by his language and tone. He knew that his lover rarely got people wrong when it came to first impressions, but, he suspected that he had been left out of the loop to someting bigger than anyone else in the room was letting him in on. He felt himself shudder as the man approached. The wolf boy instantly started wondering how he wasn't measuring up this time. Then, the would be king caught his sister's words and grabbed her hand.
The older man looked at his son and spat. "Worthless excuse for an heir that you are, I had to find...other ways to produce an heir." His gaze flicked to his daughter. "It really is a shame that the bitch you two call a mother kept you from me, so that someone from outside our family could deflower you. Though, in all honesty, your brother almost succeeded at something that night."
Conrí gaped at his father, forgetting that this was supposed to be just a memory and growled. He felt angry. Angrier than he had before. "You mean to tell me that you are the reason why my sister had to fake her death?"
"Oh, all that growing, and the pup is still a pup. She is supposed to be dead, because after she refused me, I wanted her dead."
The wolf boy lunged at his father, and without noticing, Cúchulainn sliced at him and drew a trickle of blood before a soft hand on his arm stopped his assault. He turned and saw his sister standing next to him. "Why? Why did you not tell me?"
"This is something I need to do, too. With you. But, I knew you wouldn't be likely to believe me unless I could show you. I apolog--"
"No. No bleedin' sorries, sister. We take him out together then." Within an instant, he grabbed Éirín's hand again. He could feel their powers melding in a way that they hadn't before. "Behold, the Judgement of Eiriu and Lugus!"
The would be king looked back at the others and knew that he could stand here and not fail this time. Something within him told him that his sister finally felt the same way, too.

It seemed Ailill wouldn’t be coming with them, after all. Hm…suppose it’s fitting. They entered and exited lives in a similar fashion, it seemed. There was a similarity there that saddened the Vagabond, but only for a moment. Stepping through the Corridor, the hooded man was greeted by the sight of a crimson red ship. ”This is my ship, the Alyson,” Lucia explained, though the man’s shrouded gaze was fixated on the marvelous vessel before them. Apparently the Paladin had family aboard. It wasn’t a feeling someone like him could relate to. He had no family, after all. Following Lucia as the ramp lowered from the ship, the Vagabond was quiet as they waited to board, his thoughts wandering to other notions brought upon by the sensation of loss. That was when another emerged, most likely one of the family members the Paladin had mentioned.
”Hey mom. Hey Vagabond.” The greeting from the hoodie sporting kid surprised him. How did they know his name? His face still shrouded by the hood he wore, his surprise wasn’t displayed, but his head did tilt slightly in wonder. Just as this ‘Aunt Jen’ character was mentioned, a woman with bright blonde hair appeared. She looked very much like an older Paladin, but still lively and vibrant. ”Nice to meetcha! I’m Jennifer Talec-O’Malley,” Wow. That was a mouthful. He liked to stick to first name bases. Ideally, no name bases. He was awful with names. ”Lucia’s older sister and the Burning Queen of New Yuio.” Burning Queen—? This woman was royalty?! He hadn’t prepared for that! ”New…Yuio—?” He mumbled aloud, though softly. He had never heard of such a place. ”Want anything to eat?”
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrooowlllll. The moment she said ‘eat’, the man’s stomach rumbled and roared in demand. He felt completely hollow. It was just then that the man realized he hadn’t eaten anything since before having arrived at the Castle. ”Er—yes, please!" Wait. Weren't you supposed to address royalty with a little more polish than that? "I mean—yes! Your Majesty, please!" He bowed in thanks. Always a diplomatic soul, the Vagabond would hardly ignore such courtesies. Especially when it came to those who were attempting to aid him in his research. An image of the Castle came back to his mind, causing the hooded man to turn back towards Lucia. "Paladin—this Castle that Ailill and the others are still in..." His tone had gone from unsure and awkward to serious rather quickly. "I've...been there before—I think. There was a memory the Castle showed me—or rather—reminded me of." He took a step towards her, ignoring the hunger in his stomach. "Ailill told me of how the Castle toys with minds—tell me—just...what is that place?"
The last question had been hesitant. Truthfully, it wasn't the one he wanted to ask. He wanted to ask about his own memory, from before. His first visit to that Castle had messed with his mind...he hadn't been the same afterwards. It wasn't until his second journey there that he had even recalled setting foot there. Will my own memories—be restored? That's what he wanted to ask, but couldn't quite find the courage. He was thankful for the hood he wore. It masked the somber and hopeless face expressed beneath.

Jason stared at the man with a mix of rage and horror, revulsion creeping through his stomach all the while. He had seen and done horible things over the years, but he had never even thought about doing anything remotely as horrible as that.
As Conrí and Éirín found their resolve the rage took the forfront, and he realized it wasn't just his. With a look cold enough to freeze hearts, he started forward to join them even as the hearts within him stirred. Shadows began to surround him, and his aura flared into somethng resenbling the core of the Demon Tide.
Rand was having a similar reaction beside Éirín, though his rage manifested in his keyblade being summoned in a tight grip. Saidin filled him, and he moved to the other side of the group, opposite Jason. Their eyes met, and they nodded, tones matching as they readied themselves.
"You take care of the Light forsaken bastard. We'll take care of anything else."
"Nothing is getting through us, and if you want to save some for us we'll make him pay too."
Lucia and Jen both giggled at the Vagabond's reaction. Mink just rolled their eyes, though a small grin revealed their amusement. "Name's Elmindreda Kalenia Cray-Talec. Mink for short. I'll go check on the curry." Abruptly they hoped into the air and floated away, hands in their pockets.
Shaking her head with nother giggle, Jen turned back to the Vagabond. "Don't worry about formalities, Vagabond. None of us are big on them. I like your nickname for Lucia though!" Still laughing, she walked off in the direction Mink had.
Lucia rolled her eyes very reminicent of her child, though she quickly grew serious at the Vagabond's question. "This castle used to be the seat of power for Keyblade Masters for thousands of years. Over a decade ago the last Master to be trained here used a special keyblade to change it to its current form, sealing whatever was here."
Her tone indicated she was reciting from memory as she continued. "The castle now looks into the memories of anyone who enters, forcing them to face either their worse memories or something else they need to confront. In a way it helps those who enter, though the lesons are often harsh."
She decided to enter the ship now, motioning for him to follow. "The memories it sealed should still be there, by the way. You ust need to follow the chains of memory to reach them. I can help by Diving into your heart, if you like. It's an ability I learned shortly before I became a Keyblade Master. For now though," they emerged from the halls into the marbled white kitchen just in time to watch Mink and Jen plating the chicken tikka masala and white rice, "let's eat!"

Éirín and Conrí nodded to each other, feeling their features change. When she looked at her brother, the wolf girl saw he had black wolf ears and a black snout. When he looked at her, the wolf boy saw white ears and a white snout. They also noticed that one of them held a black spear and the other held onto a barbed chain of light. Together, they turned and nodded at each of their loved ones. Both of the siblings grinned visciously when they turned to face their father again.
The older man had red wolf ears that were radiating wisps of Darkness. A pack of about thirty wolf-like Heartless appeared from behind the columns of the palace, snarling. Each was about half the size of Rand, and seemed to be able to think intelligently within their pack.
A laugh echoed down the hall, despite the fact that a chain and spear had hit their mark. Drops of crimson so dark it appeared black splotched the carpet. "What say you three? Should we kill him quickly and be done with this? Or, should we make him beg to die?" The wolf siblings' voices sounded commanding, even eerie, as they spoke in unison. They made sure another spear and chain hit their mark before pulling the man to his knees before them.
The wolf Heartless stalked around the group menacingly. They snarled ice and then fire from their mouths.
Ailill merely observed things from a distance. It looked like everyone else had it under control, though he was sure Rand could feel just how much the cloaked man was seething underneath the calm of his facial features. A liquid light sparked within his palm as he stepped up to the kneeling man. "I wish that I could do this weave properly so that you'd be burned out of time itself. Personally, I think a bloody death like that would be far too kind for a kina'zur napur'utaba chora'rai such as yourself, though. But," the cloaked man continued, bending over to whisper in the other man's ear, "So help me, if I ever catch you in anydimension I can access in the past, present, or future, I will drag Lews in there with me, and we won't hesitate."
Ailill got an absolutely feral and ferocious grin on his face as he took his place next to Rand, dismissing the liquid light from his hand with a flourish. He'd only had that smile on his face at one other point and time in his life -- when someone threatened to kill Lews, so he gave the Dark One a face.

The Vagabond nodded and waved at Mink in greeting, the man was surprised to see her floating away. Such a cool power—! Aw man. He wanted to levitate. That’d be awesome. As Jen reassured him against formalities, the Vagabond sighed in relief, waving slightly as she turned to follow Mink back into the ship. ”This castle used to be the seat of power for Keyblade Masters for thousands of years.” Woah. The Vagabond gazed at Lucia in silence as she spoke. Keyblade… He had heard that name a few times in his travels, learning little else other than the fact it was a weapon that could take many forms. Having no interest in weapons, the Vagabond had hardly ever looked into the matter. Someone he had met had had one though...what was her name? While Lucia explained about the castle’s abilities around memory, the hooded man grimaced.
He had faced many memories he had rather stayed forgotten, and forgotten many he would have liked to keep close. Lucia began to head into the ship, the Vagabond following as he was beckoned quietly as he thought. Why make a castle do that? It taught people harsh lessons through making them relive memories? How thoughtless. Whoever had decided that for the construction was surely out of touch. ”The memories it sealed should still be there, by the way.” Lucia’s next statement caught the man by surprise, causing him to halt his steps for a moment. ”You just need to follow the chains of memory to reach them.” Chains—of memory? Were there such things in this world? I have a lot to learn… The thought weighted heavily on him.
”I can help by Diving into your heart, if you like.” Just as they emerged from the halls into the marbled white kitchen, Lucia said such as statement. D-dive—into my—heart? Wait. Hadn’t he done something similar before? There was someone…he had dove into the heart of…right? It was kind of fuzzy. Shaking his head a bit, a powerful smell caught the hooded man’s nose as he lifted his head. Sniff. Sniff. The chicken tikka masala and rice wafted over his nostrils, calming the usual scent that pervaded his senses. ”For now though, let’s eat!” He would have to bear the weight for now, it seemed. Truthfully, the conversation had made him lose his appetite, but years of wandering and scavenging taught him to not follow such lies the body and mind seemed to weave.
Taking a seat with a steaming plate, the Vagabond lowered his hood, revealing a disheveled mop of brown hair and vacant dull green eyes. His face was pale from years in that place, his expression empty as he clasped both hands together in front of him. ”Thank you for the meal.” With that, he began to eat. He ignored the weight on his shoulders, the thoughts gnawing in the back of his mind. Grrrrrrrrrrrowwwwllll! His stomach was enthusiastic despite his mental mood. Truthfully, he was grateful to have met the Paladin and this quaint family. He did feel out of place, though.
They were just...too bright...to be around someone like him.

Jason and Rand looked to the wolves, rage overpowering any fear. Ailill's actions toward the man before them still sent chill down Rand's spine though. As he readied weaves, Jason took a step foward.
"You are far beyond any forgiveness, and any you summon to your side will share your fate." His aura surged, and the core of the Demon Tide surrounded him fully.
An earth shaking roar filled the area as the multitude of hearts awoke, with his guiding them. A meteor of 20 Shadows slammed into the area mpst densly populated by the wolves, quickly followed by a column of the Heartless that somehow sliped through the floor as if it weren't there. Any wolves it hit would find that it indeed was though as it hit them with enough force to crush a car.
Rand shivered at the new power, managing to send out three Waterspouts to keep the other wolves at bay. "Do with him what you will. We only want to hurt him for what he did to you, after all."
As the group ate, Lucia caught he other two up on what had hppened within the castle. Jen listened with interest, but Mink was only paying half attention. They were minly focused on the Vagabond, particularly his aura.
Sppeaking quietly, they decided to address him. "I can see your aura, by the way. You fit in here more than you think. Oh, and since I just remebered you don't know, I'm agender. They/them pronouns, please."

Éirín nodded to Aillil in gratitude, but shivered when she saw the incomplete weave of liquid light in his hands. She remained resolute, though, and had all of her spears pointed at her father. She was done making excuses for him, the fact that he hadn't really defiled her no longer mattered. Almost in sync with her, Conrí aimed the rest of the free barbed chains at his father and released them before his sister released her spears.
The volley of Light and Darkness exploded all around them and left a nearly dead man in its wake. His body was nearly see through, and crimson stained the castle stones. The man had a twisted smirk on his face as he fell over.
The wolf girl and boy looked at each other and sighed, before releasing their form and dropping to their knees. The wolves seemed to have been obliterated by Jason's and Rand's efforts. The wolf siblings walked shakily back to their loved ones.
"There, brother, it's over now. We can leave the ilk of that man behind us and properly reclaim what is rightfully yours."
"Not mine, sister. Ours, that is if no one else in this room is opposed."
Aillil quickly smirked and shook his head before grabbing Rand's and the would be king and queen's hand. Conrí grabbed Jason's hand, making a mental note to not let the man get any ideas for his new powers that would be for anything other than proper fighting. Éirín grabbed Rand's hand and smied.
"Let me get us out of here, then. So that we can talk." With some effort, and everyone's hands linked, the cloaked man blinked them out of the castle to Lucia and the others.

Spooning the chicken tikka masala into his mouth, the Vagabond looked around the ship he took shelter in. It was more spacious and luxurious than any home he remembered having, not that he had had a real home anytime recently. ”I can see your aura, by the way.” The sudden address caused the man’s dull eyes to look up, though his expression didn’t seem to change at all. See…my…aura? Was that like, being able to read his mind, or see what he was feeling? He vaguely remembered someone doing something similar before…what was her name? He couldn’t remember. ”You fit in more than you think.” For a second, the man’s blank pale face flickered into a look of intrigue, though the empty husks of eyes always stayed the same.
Matte. Lifeless. Blinking.
It seemed Mink certainly could read ‘aura’s, essentially meaning his moods—almost the same as reading his mind. Mood readers. They're always the invasive tricky type. So lively and curious... With a sigh, the Vagabond grinned slightly as he looked up at them, nodding as they informed him of their pronouns. He was awful with names, but pronouns he wouldn’t have any issues with. ”Thanks for letting me know…” He couldn’t help himself, he was curious, after all. ”How do you do that—? Float around and tell what I’m thinking and stuff, I mean.”
It seemed the Vagabond wasn’t one for tact. Always fairly blunt and straightforward, his question was poorly worded and telling of one who cared more about the answer than the question.

Mink snorted softly at the questions, though they did answer after a monent to swallow a bite of food. "I don't float, I fly. My dad's a Gale, which is basically a wind elemental, so I inherited that from him." They looked to their mother to finish, being more interested in eating than explaining something she could do better anyhow.
Catching her child's drift, Lucia sighed before picking up the rest. "As for seeing auras, I taught them. I learned through two years of training under a monk from a distant world as part of the process to control and harness my Elementa Affinities."
Jen jumped in at that point, havng somehow finished her bowl already. [coor=blue]"Us Celderatians are born with what we call an Elemental Afinity, basically what element our soul is made of. We can control it like moving our arms or legs, and with more training can enter higher states of being temporarily. My sis is a rarity, since she is a Perfect Opposing Duality."[/color]
She took a breath, allowing Lucia to cut in again. "My soul is equal parts Light and Darkness, which I combne with my life force into Twilight. If I didn't the two halves would meet and explode, probably taking out whatever city I happened to be in along with me. Jen has a Minor Unopposing Duality. Her's is primarily Light, but there is a smaller amount of Fire as well that she's learned to combine somewhat. Jason doesn't have a Duality, but somehow he's gained a little bit of Light in the past few days."
Just then Jason and the other four appeared in the kithen, making Lucia very thankful that they had upgraded the size of the ship.
Jason allowed the hearts of the Demon Tide to fall to slumber again just before they teleported, looking fine as he spoke. "Since we ended up here before I could answer, I'll just do it now. I don't see any reason why you two shouldn't claim leadership together."
Rad nodded as he dismissed his keyblade, squeezing both Éirín and Ailill's hands lightly. "Indeed. You two actually seem to work best together, if what I've seen today is anything to go on."
Lucia hugged Conrí and Éirín while exclaming how proud she was as Jen jumped up to dish mroe plates. Meanwhile, Mink rolled their eyes and muttered under their breath with a slight smirk. "Finally figured that one out, huh?"

Aillil cleared his throat a bit, letting the others answer the wolf boy's question. He was glad that they figured something out, though. The cloaked man looked at Lews and felt himself starting to blush. He felt his hand brush against the other man's hand. He coughed slightly, and nervously shifted from foot to foot. He was suddenly ravenous and not hungry at all at one time. He looked around and tried to figure out where the rooms were. "Despite my actions in that castle, I mean no one any harm. However, I amn't very hungry at the moment." The smells of the food had reminded him of some of his time with Lews in the Second Age. A single tear started to slip down his cheek as he turned away to wander the ship. "Send for me when you need, Lews. We indeed have much to discuss. Likely just us on our own first, unless the young lass wishes to know all of my past mistakes."
Éirin happily accepted her brother's terms with a nod, and looked hungrily at the food. She sent Rand a bit of a smirk when she realised how nervous Aillil was. The wolf girl accepted the compliment from her love with a chuckle and was suddenly hugged. The priestess felt strange by all the positive reinforcement. She heard Aillil and shook her head firmly. "I do not want to know what all you faced. I want to get to know you as you are now, and, do you wish Rand to take a plate to wherever it is you're going?"
Aillil turned and smirked before continuing on his path. So, Lews, becoming a maid in this life, huh?
Conrí sighed in relief when he heard Jason and nearly dropped to his knees when Lucia hugged him and his sister. As if on cue, his stomach rumbled. He looked at his love and spoke, "Should we talk too? I've been so stressed and preoccupied that I miss you. Dinner first, of course."

The Vagabond blinked as Mink, Lucia and Jen began to discuss the reasoning behind their powers. He had been to many worlds, but had never once encountered beings such as ‘Gales’. Hm…so they’re beings attuned with an affinity, eh? It was an interesting concept, one he had never heard of before. In relation to auras, Lucia explained to him how that had been something trained, not given by birth. At that comment, the Vagabond straightened up in his seat a bit, his eyebrows raising in intrigue as he leaned forward. ”A monk, you say—?” He’d have to ask her what world that had been on. It was something he felt could aid him in his endeavors. A skill that allowed one to read the emotions and moods of others—it was a god send for a hermit with no social skills like him.
He was curious about their home world, where these ‘Celderatians’ were from. Beings who were born with an elemental affinity, one their ‘soul’ was composed of. Just what was a soul? It seemed certain worlds had a stronger sense of it than others. I wonder what my element would be— Probably darkness. For a moment his face contorted into an expression of someone eating something sour as the others appeared. It seemed that the home was suddenly filled as the remainder of their party emerged within the blink of an eye. Whatever had transpired over at the Castle seemed to have passed, as everyone gathered in to talk and grab plates of the warm food. The luxurious kitchen was certainly packed, now.
Whatever it was they were all talking about, the Vagabond had no idea. It was to be expected. He had kind of barged into the middle of their campaign, after all. Before he could ask Lucia about the Monk and the world they had been on, they were up from the table, greeting their loved ones. Sighing from the missed opportunity, the Vagabond silently hoped he wouldn’t forget to bring up the topic at a different time. For a moment, his gaze fell on Ailill. He had certainly seemed to have changed a lot in that castle. All of a sudden, they didn’t seem as similar any more. The thought relieved a weight on his heart that he hadn’t recognized. Whatever path the cloaked swordsman would walk, the Vagabond silently wished him well.
He wasn't big on goodbyes or anything like that, deciding not to say anything as the man departed.

Rand looked at Aillil and tried not to laugh outright at the man’s actions. He noted that his old friend seemed rather uncomfortable in the ship, though he had at least offered an apology. Right before walking off in a random direction. Rand sighed and ran a hand through his hair. ”Some things never do change, even if literal thousands of years have passed.”
Rand decided to pull out a chair and wait for Jen to grab a dish for him. He chuckled lightly when Éirín had nearly reprimanded Aillil for stalking off without eating dinner. Once he smelled the familiar scent of the dish, he understood why the man had left. Reaching out to Aillil and Éirín with a soothing feeling through the bond, he calmly stated, ”Leave the man go, my love. He never was one to react well to forgiveness or acceptance, particularly not after literal lifetimes of time where he thought he had to be as hard as cuilendar to accomplish what he deemed to be the most just and correct course of action for those on my world. I will take his food and mine out to him when it is ready.”
Mink rolled their eyes again once Rand had finished speaking. ”Seriously, Uncle Rand, you can eat here, and I can go after him. Besides, the state he’s in, I wouldn’t be surprised if the two of you just ended up in another row, and not in the fun way.” They smirked mischievously before turning their attention to the Vagabond. ”Feel free to eat and ask any questions you have of either Jen or my mom. We’re going to be lifting off really soon, too, so, if there’s somewhere else you would rather go to, let us know, and we can drop you off.” With that said, they floated to a particular cupboard and pulled out a covered dish. Winking playfully at Rand, they followed Aillil down the hall.
Jen smiled sweetly at the others, though she was slightly concerned when the strange cloaked man wandered off. She gave Lucia a knowing look, but decided not to push and handed Rand two plates with a nod before going back for two more. She briefly wondered what Mink was up to. ”Whatever it is, Rand, it seems like Mink’s going to handle it, at least initially. In any case, you probably should just follow them with these.” Her gaze flicked to the Vagabond. ”You are, of course, welcome to stay. We just have to help that man recover himself before we can fully help you. Unless, of course, we want to split up, but, Mink seems to think that was a bad idea.”
Jason smiled at Conrí and returned his hug with a soft kiss. ”Later, elska min, it will take at least two days to get to Celderat, anyway, and something tells me we could spend the time very interestingly.” He smirked, and there was a dancing light in his eyes. ”Two days to show you how to use a joystick properly, for piloting purposes, of course.” He also turned his attention to the Vagabond. ”If you do decide to go, take one of our Gummi Phones and call me when you’re ready for me to help you. No pressure. I usually save situations involving pressure for Conrí, anyway.”. Jason winked at his love before taking the seat that Rand had left available.
Lucia watched the others with interest as she finished her curry. Once Mink and Rand left she turned to the Vagabond, choosing to anser his question. "The monk was on my homeworld, which is where we're going. He was from another world though, one I've never found, and as for my world..."
She trailied off, leaving Jen to finish with a more seriou tone than usual. "You'll see when we get there."

There was a lot of conversations happening at once, causing the Vagabond to feel oddly at a loss as he spooned another helping of the piping hot food into his mouth. Chewing absentmindedly, observing the others with a quiet perception, the man longed for the shelter of his hood. I’ll just make a mess, though. Sighing, the hermit decided to leave himself basked in the light of the world around him. He loathed the feeling, but eating with a deep hood on was more difficult than it sounded. Another art form I’ve yet to master… The thought was bitter, though it didn’t run that deep. ”Feel free to eat and ask any questions you have of either Jen or my mom.” Mink’s voice broke the Vagabond out of his thoughts.
”If there’s somewhere else you would rather go to, let us know, and we can drop you off.” With that, they floated away towards others, leaving the Vagabond in his thoughts as he pondered the question. Somewhere else—? There was much to do. Lucia and Jason had mentioned aiding him in his research, though, which was his top priority. Until whatever unknown methods they held were revealed, the vagrant hardly planned on going anywhere. ”You are, of course, welcome to stay.” Almost as though reading his mind, Jen’s voice reached the man sitting at the table.
”We just have to help that man recover himself before we can fully help you.” The Vagabond blinked in surprise, leaning back a bit in his chair. How had she known about what Lucia and Jason had spoken of? They hadn’t had time to talk and fill each other in, as far as the Vagabond was aware of. An interesting family indeed… It seemed this ship was full of individuals with many tricks up their sleeves. ”If you do decide to go, take one of our Gummi Phones and call me when you’re ready for me to help you. No pressure.” The Vagabond turned to Jason, a look of confusion on his face.
”Gummi—Phone—?” Tilting his head a bit, the Vagabond scratched at his disheveled hazelnut hair, his dull green eyes blinking lifelessly. He had never heard of such a thing. Lucia’s voice reached him as well, causing the Vagabond to turn in his chair to find her. He wasn’t used to talking to this many people at once. Truthfully, his head was spinning a bit. ”The monk was on my home world, which is where we’re going.” For a moment, excitement gripped the Vagabond, causing him to forget the half eaten plate in front of him. Pressing his hands on the table, he leaned forward in earnest before his face faltered a bit at hearing the ‘You’ll see when you get there’ that Jen delivered.
For a moment, the Vagabond grimaced. Too many worlds have been thrown out of balance… It was a troubling reality, but one he lived in. Other than his own research, that was his main goal, too. With a newfound firmness in his heart, the Vagabond met the eyes of those around him, his voice determined. ”I’d be grateful to come along—thanks, er…for having me.” He faltered towards the end. He still wasn’t used to all of the socializing. He had hoped to say something cool at the end, but honestly it felt a little lame, falling from his lips with a different taste than he’d hoped.
Oh well. A small grin emerged on his lips. He was thankful for the company.
[[Thanks for this RP y'all, it's been fun! We're moving over to the Gummi Space thread now, yeah?]]
