About the Character
Character Personality:
The Vagabond was initially a kindhearted, outgoing and positive person. After the events that brought the Vagabond to the Realm of Darkness, as well as residing in that realm for almost two years, his light has dimmed quite a bit. Determined is now the best word to describe him... or perhaps "one-track minded". There are still bits of his old self poking out, a sarcastic quip or jibe, the impatience that keeps him frustrated if a problem can't be immediately fixed-there are still indeed parts of him there. The major parts are missing, though. Due to his struggle with finding inner balance, the Vagabond has become highly focused on projecting that balance onto the world around him.
The Vagabond is inquisitive—though at the same time disinterested. Curious as to what makes hearts tick, rise and fall, he must maintain some interest in interpersonal relationships — though how does a wandering recluse force this upon themselves? The Vagabond is afraid of getting close with other hearts, terrified he with either corrupt them due to his own imbalance or let them down.
Overall he is not a mean or negative person, simply someone who has dealt with a lot of loss, pain and darkness. Because of this the Vagabond is normally withdrawn, quiet and typically only interacts with those in need. The reason for this is not wholly heroic, but much more on a base level of wanting there to be a balance between light and dark—a balance he has had to struggle to find himself.
Character Appearance:
The Vagabond is tall and broad in frame, standing at 6'5". He has medium length hazelnut hair, which could certainly use a trim or "neatening up", as it's constantly disheveled. His face is littered with light scruff that matches his hair color. His eyes are a dull green in color, his complexion pale from his time in the Realm of Darkness (as well as typically wearing a hood). He is fit from an active lifestyle but by no means trains. The only distinct markings on his body are the tattoo beneath his left collarbone, a single lavender flower, as well as a heartless emblem on his left hand.
Because of the heartless emblem, the Vagabond rocks a single black fingerless glove. He mainly covers himself with olive colored cargo pants (the cargo pockets on the side usually brimming with an odd array of items) and dark high top shoes that are weather resistant. His torso is usually covered by a long, knee-length unbuttoned hooded jacket, which is a steel blue. Beneath the jacket is a white t-shirt with a large tidal wave graphic on the front. Around his neck is a simple leather thread necklace with a stone pendant. The stone is a dark green and blue, almost looking as though the ocean were residing in it.
Character Hobbies/Activities:
Before the events that brought the Vagabond to the Realm of Darkness he had been an active gardener. Now his only "hobby" or "activity" that makes him happy is studying and researching the heartless, darkness and hearts.
Battle Statistics

Hi-Potion- Heals user or a single ally from moderate damage. [1 post cooldown][4 use limit per battle]
Ether- Removes the cooldown of a single spell/ability. [1 use limit per battle]
Dark Firaga- Launches a ball of dark flames at a single target. Travels up to 40m in distance, honing in on the target for a direct hit. Deals heavy damage. [3 post cooldown]
Dark Meteor- Summons a meteor of dark and fire energy that falls upon the battlefield from above. It explodes on impact for devastating damage, harming any opponents in a 12m radius. [4 post cooldown]
Character Abilities (Max of 10 abilities allowed, 20 for members over 50 RP posts):
Dark Portal- The Vagabond can create portals of darkness, allowing him to move between worlds or within them. [Passive]
Touched by Darkness- The Vagabond is resistant to most dark energies, taking less damage from dark based attacks. He is also less affected by heavy pressures of darkness, found in places like the Underworld, Realm of Darkness, etc. [Passive]
Defender- Increases defense greatly when the users HP is critically low. [Passive]
Second Chance- Allows the Vagabond to survive a fatal blow with 1 HP, provided they are not already unconscious. [Limited to one use per battle]
Sealing Technique I- Creates a ‘seal’ to limit one’s darkness potential. Only suppresses minor levels of darkness. Can also be used to create a barrier or ward to hold off weaker enemies. [3 post duration][2 post cooldown]
Sealing Technique II- Creates a ‘seal’ to limit one’s darkness potential. Only suppresses moderate levels of darkness. Can also be used to create a barrier or ward to hold off moderately powerful enemies. [4 post duration][3 post cooldown]
Character Forms/Command Styles (Optional - Limit 3 - Please write in list format -max of 5 abilities per form, which need cooldowns-):
Guardian- When in this form, the Vagabond will radiate with a dark purple aura, his eyes glowing a bright yellow much like a Heartless. The Darkside arms that usually protrude from his back multiply in number. The amount will be countless, shifting in and out of his body, consumed by darkness. During this time, the Vagabond will be much faster and more powerful, but will be taking steady damage each post from the darkness consuming him. He will be more vulnerable to light magic and Cure spells during this time. [Duration of 5 posts] [Limited to one use per battle]
Form Abilities-
Second Chance- Allows the Vagabond to survive a fatal blow with 1 HP, provided they are not already unconscious. [Limited to one use]
Defender- Increases defense greatly when HP is critically low. [Passive]
Dark Firaga- Launches a ball of dark flames at a single target. Travels up to 40m in distance, honing in on the target for a direct hit. Deals heavy damage. [2 post cooldown]
Dark Torrent- Pummels foes in a violent barrage of attacks by multiple Darkside fists. Deals devastating damage. [3 post cooldown]
Storming Reach- The countless Darkside limbs launch out from The Guardian, acting as though tree branches lancing through the battlefield in a zig-zagging pattern. Affects a radius of 20m around the user. Deals fatal damage. [4 post cooldown]
Character Weapons (Maximum of 5 weapons allowed – members must have 50 posts before their characters may wield a keyblade):
Fallen Heart- The Vagabond doesn’t actually have any physical weapons of his own. The closest thing he has is the help of his now heartless brother. Whenever the Vagabond fights, large Darkside arms emerge from his back (like wings). These are how he fights. They mimic his own arm movements and can be used offensively or defensively.
Character Summons (Optional field – no canon summons allowed – maximum of 2 allowed and maximum of 2 abilities each allowed):
Jungle Hippo- Due to their innate pure nature, the Vagabond instantly bonded with the hippos that guard the Lagoon from darkness on the Deep Jungle. The Vagabond can summon one of these hippos during a time of need. The hippo will emerge peacefully, healing the Vagabond and his party from all damage. The hippo leaves at the end of the same post it is summoned. [Limit to one use per battle]
