Character Name: Caco
Character Age: 21
Character Race: Human
Character Gender: Male
About the Character
Character Personality:
Humility/Sympathy:
Caco has 'grown-up' from his previous life-style of being rude and blunt, although he did he have a sense of respect among the crew. However, he has learn to respect to everyone around him that doesn't try to provoke. There is a small trace of his 'pirate' crudeness at certain points, but other than that, he prefers to not to be in the center of attention. Caco tries not to hurt anyone's feelings, therefore he is sometimes soft-spoken.
Honor:
It's something that Caco has lived under even when was under the crew of Joseph Benavin. If there are certain rules that he must follow in areas, then he does his best to follow and even uphold them. Even among enemies, Caco tries to fight them without any degredation. He would rather make an ally than a rival, although he acknowledges that it is sometimes impossible with certain people.
Focus/Determination:
If there is something that Caco has to do or finish, then he'll will not stop until it is accomplished. This can sometimes lead him into trouble, as he would follow a person until the end. This could be mistaken for loyalty, but Caco sees it as a mission more than protecting a 'friend'. When he is on a mission, then he tries his best not to let outside interefence distract him. Of course, if the person he is helping is distracted themselves, then Caco will follow until his patience runs out [which would take a while].
Distrust:
Although he is willing to help out a person, Caco simply can not place too much trust in a person. His life as a pirate made him isolated from other people, besides the crew. And the last time he had put his trust in his stranger: He lost a captain and the rest of the crew, along with being stranded in a new world. Because of this, Caco will always be 'distant' from a person and will not try to engage in any conversation about personal history.
Anxious:
The events in his life before arriving at Traverse Town has left him a bit shaken, even in his current age. Caco is constantly on a look out for the two people/creatures that ruined his previous life. Although he is relatively calm, Caco can become a bit jumpy whenever he's in a dark area [or at least dim], out of fear from the personal experience.
Character Appearance:
Over-All/Head:
Caco is slightly taller than normal and lanky. He stands at about 6'1" and, doesn't have an 'althetic' build. He has a slight dark tan. He has a square face and has some facial hair which is trimmed cleanly. He has long, dark brown hair to the point that it looks black: The only way to tell that it is brown is under direct sunlight. His hair looks greasy, although all of it is pulled back and tied into a pony-tail. His eyes are a dark brown, much like his hair. His eyes have subtle dark rings underneath it.
Upper:
Caco has a brown sweater that is slightly baggy on him. The cloth itself is slightly tattered where the sleeves end. He also wears a jacket/vest that covers his entire body. He generally keeps the jacket zipped. His hands has scars all over, though he keeps them bandaged.
Lower:
Caco wears dark brown pants, which is tattered as well. He managed to keep the pants in one piece with various martial, sometimes the colors different than the pants itself. He keeps the lower parts of his pants tucked in with his boots, which has a similiar color to his pants. He doesn't having laces for his boots, and rather bandages around the boot tightly.
Character Hobbies/Activities: Cooking
Battle Statistics
Character Position: Neutral
Character Abilities:
Cut Slash:
A very simplistic combo that Caco uses. He slashes in two different angles, all while making it 'twirl' to distract an opponent. Obviously, the range is very short, but Caco can use it whenever he likes.
M-P 1 Abilities:
Blast:
The pistol shoots out a large blast of energy. This can cause heavy damage, but it is only useful in a short distance. He can use it whenever he likes, but it has to recharge afterwards. [Cool-down of 5 posts]
String Shot:
Caco shoots out one bullet and if it connects to his target, he can either send them back further away from him or closer. This particular technique can only work on heartless and nobodies and has very little effect on people [including humanoids]. He can also damage his targets if they are close to an object and he sends them towards it. [Cool down of 3 posts]
Character Weapons:
Cutlass:
A standard pirate sword. It curves slightly at the middle of the blade. It's easily to wield for Caco and his preferred weapon of choice when fighting anyone or anything. He uses it with the combination of the M-P 1.
M-P 1:
Short for Magic Pistol 'Model 1'. Unlike regular pistols, Caco doesn't need to reload it.. Instead, it has a set charge [about 2 posts] that shoots out 3 'energy bullets' per charge, as standard. It fires one bullet at a time though. Although it is called 'magic', it requires very little experience with magic to use it. The weapon's appearance has a modern look of a pistol.

Character Story
Character Home World: Port Royal
Character Relationships
Father: Unknown
Mother: Unknown
Character History:
Caco was born in Port Royal, in a small local town. His father was a merchant, while his mother served in her own restaurant. There were times in Caco's life where his family would be poor or be rich, so as a child, he constantly adapted to the change of life-styles. He was raised to become a merchant himself, while learning how to cook some food from his mother. His true desire, however, was to become a pirate after being poor for so long at one point. However, he didn't want to use the methods that normal pirates used: Rather, he would steal without alerting the victims at all. A theif, basically.
Although he wasn't the greatest at it, he managed to steal some quite valuable items [and sometimes, necessary]. One day, however, pirates raided the town. He was about eight years old when the attack happened. His father fought with valor, but was eventually out-numbered. Caco's mother was taken away and while all this was happening, Caco was rendered unconsious from an attack by one of the pirates.
When he awoke, Caco found himself on a ship. He was in one of the holding cells that the pirates made themselves. A person was waiting for him there and took up to the deck when he woke up. When he was brought on deck, he met the captain of the crew, although Caco never got the name of him other than 'Captain' at first. The captain made a deal with Caco: Join his crew or be left in the water for the sharks. Caco choose the logical, survival choice and decided to join them.
During Caco's time with the pirates, he began to uncover the past behind the crew. The Captain, whose real name was Joseph Benavin, was not only a pirate, but a theif. He stole treasures that were not only rare for pirates, but for the 'regular' people, as he called them. His age, however, was catching up to him. Caco then thought it was because of his age that Joseph picked him, but that wasn't the case. Before Joseph became a pirate, he was a merchant that previously, worked for the king's army and navy. During that time he had a wife and a child: A boy that resembled Caco himself. Joseph's son and wife died however, after a terrible accident involving one of the king's favorite 'subjects'. After the incident, Joseph became bitter and went on rampage, eventually becoming the man that he was.
Out of sympathy, Joseph choose Caco to not only be in his crew, but to raise him as a son that he didn't get the chance to raise. Caco eventually grew fond of Joseph and the two got along as if they were actually family. Caco's skills as a theif grew expotientially during his time with Joseph's crew and, although didn't exactly become a normal pirate, was treated as part of the crew. Most of the crew would go after the regular loot that they could capture, while Joseph and Caco went after the rare treasures that required a bit more....technique.
This lasted until Caco turned 18 and that's when things began to turn south......
Joseph stumbled upon a woman during one of his regular visits into a town. Some-how, the two had fallen for each other and she was brought with them. The crew felt uneasy about her, especially Caco. There was something about her that made her...intimindating. She had beauty, but not what a regular person would have....she was something out of this world. At least, that was Caco's assumptions.
For a few months, everything was alright. But as time progressed and Joseph fallen for her, something began to change in him. He was more angry than usual, even developing a short temper for the crew. But then in those moments of anger, there was a sense of agony in his eyes as well. He also appeared to be getting sicker with each passing day, while the woman looked as beautiful as ever. Also, the crew were slowly disappearing slowly one by one. And each time Caco walked around the ship alone, he could of sworn seeing another shadow besides his own among him...
The remaining crew remained with Joseph, along with Caco. Then one day, Joseph was suddenly healthy as a horse. Although there was something completely different about him. He was no longer interested in Treasure or loot, but rather raiding the villages just for the 'fun of it' as he said. And then in one of the following months, the woman brought a young girl similiar to Caco's age. The girl was distant, as if she had no emotion. But after each raid, she seem to be able to show more emotions. Unfortunately, for Caco anyway, he was forced to particpate in these 'raids' which was much more disturbing than he thought. He was taught by Joseph how to use his skills to not only be a theif, but to be an assassian. Joseph gave him specific instructions about attacking some of the locals that tried to fight back at them: Their valor was important, Caco was told. Caco only did a few raids himself, but immediatly stopped after one particular raid where he saw a fellow crew die. There was something strange about it though: Caco could see something 'floating' out of him...
A year later, Caco woke up with a sudden fright in the middle of the night. The scream of the captain woke him up, along with the remaining crew [which shrunk even more by the year]. They arrived on the deck, finding the captain motionless on the middle of the deck, with the woman standing over him. The girl was standing near-by as well, her emotions appearing the same as the woman: An evil grin.
And then, a crystalized heart started to float away from the captain's body as the woman grabbed for it. It was then when the woman revealed her 'true' from: She had a similiar appearance as her previous form, except her entire body was pitch black. The only thing that Caco could see in the night was her eyes, which glowed a bright yellow. Her hands and feet grew claws and a black 'aura' grew around her. The girl was slowly walking closer to the crew and Caco, with Caco in front of them. The black aura surrounding the heartless woman reached out and smacked the crew away from Caco while trying to lure Caco himself closer to the girl. He could hear the girl utter as her eyes began to glow yellow itself,
"Your heart will be mine."
A sudden bright flash surprised everyone and Caco could hear shrieks and hisses coming from the women as they shrank from the light. The light was warm and Caco found himself falling asleep rather easily. The last thing Caco remember seeing was a trio of two men and a woman. One man and the woman, he couldn't recognize, but he could of sworn that the other man was his captain. Before Caco drifted into sleep, he could hear a voice, similiar to the captain's, saying ,"Forgive me."
Caco woke up again in a completely different area. This time, it wasn't anything like he had seen before. He walked around for a few minutes and found himself in a town that called itself 'Traverse Town.' He was walking in a rather hectic pace, also trying to figure out what happened to him and the rest of the crew. The woman and the girl also were in his mind, as well as the trio of people that came when the light appeared.
Caco walked into a shop that had Gummi ships. Oddly, when he came in, the owners of the shop immediatly recognized him and told him that they had a ship with his name on it. There was a note along with the ship stating,
"We have one favor to ask of you. But first, you will need a gummi ship....giving you one was the least we can do for you. We're sorry that we couldn't be there for you, but we need your help. Thank you and please forgive us."
Caco stepped into the ship and found another note, asking him for one simple thing: Destroy Illenya and Marcia. The names were nothing that Caco could remember from his past, until he thought of the two women again. The note was referring to those two and, although Caco was hesitant, decided to follow the favor. He believed the note came from the group of people that saved him eariler and he thought he could 'thank' them by doing this one favor. Plus, he wanted revenge for what that woman did to his captain.
Caco is now 21 years old, and he's still on the search for the two women, along with the crew. Caco has yet to find Port Royal in the Gummi Ship navigation. He hasn't met the group of people since the time they saved him. His clothing has dramatically changed from his pirate days as he wears what Traverse town's locals normally wear. He also found out what heartless and nobodies were, and concluded that the woman and the young girl in his world were just heartless creatures. His skills that he learned from being a theif and, for a brief time, a raider/assassian, has helped him during his combat. He is hoping however that he would be strong enough to take out the two women that took him away from his own world....
