Silver laughed. Oh how he laughed and laughed and laughed. He laughed so hard that he was clutching his chest and had to stop himself from falling to the floor. What was he laughing at? Well Jean's questions of course. Red found that laugh utterly shrilling. It caused him to get the chills. It was not the laugh of a sane man.
"Why my Jean, don't you know. I've set up our next game. And this is the ultimate game! The final game! The game that shall declare the winner. And the winner.... well we all know what the prize is." Silver's eyes ran up and down Jean's body as if he were a hungry animal and she his prey. It was odd to see coming across from Jean's father. Even Red felt disgusted.
Silver stood. He turned to the window and continued talking. "All of the world I changed for our game Jean. Shinra is on the verge to controlling ever peace of land on this world. I don't know how this company managed to survive if I hadn't come to its rescue. It was on steps away with making peace with everyone. That would ruin everything."
He turned back to them all. "A Leader must conquer! Conquest is the way to victory Jean. After our game you will understand that. Shinra will become the ruler of this entire world! I shall be made Emperor! And you shall be my queen."
Listening to Silver rant, Red kept shaking his head. He was wrong. Conquest was not the only way to victory. There was victory in peace. Much more then conquest.
"But I'm getting ahead of myself. I promised you the chance to face me out of your fathers body did I not? Well I keep my promises. I can't leave your fathers body without killing him Jean. Its very factual. So you must go to Goblin Island. Gather the three crystals colored red, green and yellow. Take your friends too. I'm sure you'll need them."

Jean's eyes narrowed as the laughter filled the room. It wasn't normal laughter. It was the laughter of a madman! It made the hairs on the back of her neck stand on end. It even bothered her all the more hearing it come from her own father's voice box. She frowned, her expression darkening as Silver finally finished with his fit of laughter.
Everything was a game to this creature. Her expression remained hardened as he spoke. The assumption she had made about Silver taking over Midgar had been correct. He had thrown everything into chaos. Now, he was going to have the whole world ruled in fear and disarray if he would have it.
The way he looked at her suddenly then made a nasty chill go down her spine. Jean refrained from shuddering at the hungry look he had on his face. The fact it was coming from her own father's face made it all the more eerie and disgusting. Already, the thought of fighting him unnerved her. It was quite clear what he would do should he win the battle.
"Excuse me? Queen?! I don't think Jean has agreed to it!" Rowen retorted. It was evident on his face that he didn't like Silver one bit even though he had her father's face on. Ryu, Sain and Dyne reflected the same expression Rowen had except not as fierce.
"Calm down, Rowen." It had been an order as Jean faced Silver. The last thing she needed was for Silver to try and kill him. The thought he would really disturbed her. She wouldn't be able to bare it if he did. Now that she thought about it, she found that she cared a lot for Rowen. She cared a lot for her friends but the idea of him dying, she didn't think she could go on if he did.
Silver then explained what must be done. On Goblin island, they were to find all three crystals. Crystals? What were they getting crystals for? "What's anything got to do with those crystals?" she questioned him. It sounded rather fishy.

Silver shook his head. "I thought it was obvious. The only way I can exit your father's body without killing him is those crystals. Together they separate body from heart. Used on a creature like me, it allows us to exit a body without harming the host. In all honesty the crystals came from my planet but that's besides the point."
Taking a seat back in his chair, Silver folded his hands. "Gather the crystals. Bring them to the church in the slums. It is only fitting we do our battle there. It still stands. Don't know how it survived the fire but... Well it was where we first met. Such a perfect place to make you my queen."
With that said, Silver clapped his hands together suddenly. The door to the room slammed open, hitting Red who happened to be standing next to it. Three men dressed in black suits entered. "Escort my companions to the airport. They will be taking an airship to Goblin Island." The two soldiers nodded and gestured for them to follow.

Jean listened to what Silver had to say in explanation. The crystals would ensure that he didn't do harm to the host when exiting the body. This meant that it would protect her father's body from Silver's exiting it. Well, if that was the real reason, then she would be fine with that. Still, she couldn't help but feel wary with Silver. How he kept claiming he'd make her his queen made it clear that he wasn't going to give her a choice in the matter if he won.
Then he brought up the subject of the church in the slums again. Somehow, the place was still standing despite the fire that had ravaged the slums. It was there that the final showdown between them would take place.
Rowen made to take a step toward Silver, clearly enraged at what he was saying but Jean stopped him by placing a hand before him. "...Rowen!" she stated, her voice firm. Reluctantly, Rowen stood down but he couldn't help but glare at Silver. How he hated the thing and to go and say such things to Jean! Plus, the damned thing seemed to have only eyes for Jean, ignoring the rest of them as if they weren't even there! The nerve of him! If Jean didn't stop him and he wasn't in Jean's father's body, he would've tried to strangle him or put an arrow in him by now.
Suddenly, Silver clapped and in came a group of men in black suites. Annalese hissed at the men who opened the doors since they had hit Red with them. "Watch it!" she growled. They didn't seem to hear her as they all focused on Silver.
Jean turned as the three soldiers ushered them out. They would escort them to the island. Taking the lead, Jean followed the men. She had to grab hold of Rowen's arm to move him along since he wasn't trying to follow. Reluctantly, he followed her after she managed to pull him along a good three or so feet and headed out of the room with the rest. As they went, neither of them spoke.
Eventually, they were led out of the building to a large landing area. There, they found a set of airships. The three men walked over to one and opened it up. Motioning for them to get inside, they stood on either end to allow them all entry. Jean was the first to climb in, Rowen second. It seemed that after what transpired with Silver, he was worried if they were separated something might happen to her and thus why he sat next to her in the ship.
"Is this what humans use to mimic birds?"
Neither of them noticed the figure in the way back, darkened area of the ship that just sat there, waiting.

Goblin Island was not what Red expected. Well first he expected there to be goblins. And cities with goblins and the sorts. Well he was wrong. At least there weren't any now.
When the air ship had landed and they had all gotten off Red was surprised to see that he couldn't see a creature in sight. There weren't even any birds tweeting in the air. It was all odd to Red.
The cave they searched for was not all that hard to find either. It was located right into the trees and it was lit by torches along the walls. It seemed like the caves had been mined. In fact Red noticed tracks going into the cave. "It's a mining cave." Red observed.
Somehow Red had a feeling that this place would be crawling with goblins. And that getting said crystals was not going to be at all easy. "Ready Jean?"

No one spoke as they made their way from Midgar all the way to Goblin Island. Just looking down at the dreadful place made Jean uneasy. It was here that many strange things happened to those who went here. There was a reason why it had such a name after all. She breathed, calming herself as they landed on the very dirt of the island finally.
Exiting the airship, Jean looked around. The still air made her feel even worse. This place certainly had a way of scaring you even if you didn't see anything. The simple fact there were no normal animals around was eerie.
Jean gave a bit of a start when Red spoke. Turning her head, she found the caves they were looking for. There, she could see torches lighting the caves. It was in there that the crystals were to be found. From here on out, things would not be easy.
"I...think so!" she answered Red. Uncertainly, Jean started in the direction of the caves as she unsheathed her swords. As if following her silent signal, Rowen and the others took out their weapons too and armed themselves.

Red lead the way into the cave. Why? Well mostly because he wanted to get this whole ordeal done with. Entering the cave, Red found himself walking down a twisty curvy path that ultimately went downhill. The sealing was tall enough for them to jump if they had to. It seemed they were walking in a natural hole in the cave.
Oddly enough though there were no enemies. Red wanted to call out to hear himself echo, but he was afraid that goblins would jump out the moment he did. He was tense and his senses were on guard.
The party continued until they came to a large open room with two separate paths. One led to the right the other to the left. There were tracks leading in both directions so it was impossible for Red to tell which path was the way they needed to go.
What should they do here? Thankfully Artemis spoke up. "Perhaps it is best if we form two parties here. Jean why don't you take Lakari, Rowen and myself. Ryu can take Red, Sain, Dyne and Annalese."
Red agreed with Artemis. They didn't have time to explore one path and then the other. It would be better to split up here. "Then we can meet up here." Red said in agreement.

The deeper they got into the caves, the more apparent it became that the place was pretty void of life. Nothing seemed to stir within the cave as they came out into a central portion of it. Looking around, one could see that where there were footprints, nothing else seemed to signify life here. Was this place really just full of Goblins alone then?
Jean hardly let out a loud exhale just because she was afraid it would be heard. It wasn't long until they came across two paths. One leading to the left, the other the right. Looking at them, Jean wondered where exactly they were suppose to go. It wasn't like they could just pick at random and all go down that one path.
It was Artemis who suggested they split into two groups. With what he said, it made perfect sense. It would get things done faster and they would be able to tell which path led to the right one. The moment Artemis threw out suggestions for who would be in what group, Rowen seemed to slightly perk up a bit. "Hey, no complaints here!" he stated.
Sain rolled his eyes and shook his head at Rowen. "Of course you wouldn't!" he retorted before looking to Ryu and Dyne.
"Alright lets go with that!" Jean replied before giving Ryu and Red a nod. With that, she started heading down the left path, Rowen close behind her.
Annalese watched as everyone started filing around into their own groups. When their group began heading down the right path, Annalese skipped after them, in her own little world once again.

Artemis led them down the path. It took a turn into an older section of the cave. As they walked the level of the sealing was shorter then before. still enough for them to all walk tall, but if Artemis jumped more then a few feet his head would hit stone. That wasn't too comfortable of a thought.
In addition, as they continued even further, the walls began closing in more until only two people could walk side by side. Also they seemed to be heading even more down then before. "Perhaps we took the wrong way?" He thought to himself at first.
This thought continued until they came around a corner and Artemis found himself in an even larger cavern. Surprisingly it seemed to be the remnants of a camp. Artemis could pin point where there had once been fires, and he could tell that some of the ground had even been leveled in some areas. But there was one thing for clear. No one had been here in quite awhile.
"This was surely some sort of camp. So we must be going in the right direction." He said.
There was a single opening on the other end of the platform. Heading in that direction Artemis came to a stop when he found a cart waiting on tracks before them. Looking inside he found mining tools (pick axes, hammers, and even chisels.) But there was so much dust on them. It was clear no one had touched them.
"There are remnants of goblins here.... But what happened to them?"
-----------------
While Artemis's party seemed to make some success, Red's did not have such luck. The moment they had started down the corridor, Red had a feeling that something was up. Torches lit along the walls and the path they took sent them down and east.
In fact they were going more east then even north. "I hope this doesn't lead to an exit or something." Red said with a sigh.
He had no plans of stopping until he reached a dead end though. He was the leader of this group. Well he thought he was. Ryu was probably the one better set to be the leader, but Red wanted to be an "adult" so he led the way.
Taking a glance behind him, he noticed that everyone was following. Annalese seemed to be in her own world, but that didn't seem any different then normal.
Continuing along the path, Red was surprised to see that the path had started to rise. "I got a bad feeling about this."[/color] Red thought to himself.
Finally, after a turn, Red found himself in a large open space with no other way to go but back. Stepping forward to the middle of the room to get a better look he said, "Guess this lead to a dead end after all. Maybe we should just go back...."
Red never finished his sentence. Because something he had never seen before suddenly dropped form the sealing. Red found himself facing the largest spider he had ever seen. It stood at twelve feet with eight black bead eyes and eight long legs. Red though was more focused on its mouth.
Two large curved pincers opened as the creature let out a screech that shook the entire cave.

Jean's group traveled in mostly silence. Not really caring who took the lead, Jean just walked along with the others. Her mind was preoccupied with other things at the moment anyway. Her mind was mostly set on how she would do in the challenge to come. Hopefully her reflexes and speed were fast enough. Silver was no easy target when he was outside his host's body. She had seen that when he had possessed her father.
They had traveled for quite some time before coming out into a lower cavern. Here, there were signs of what was once a campsite. Artemis was the first to mention this. Jean looked around for herself as she walked about the area. It seemed like it had been a very long time since anyone had been here.
Artemis wandered off ahead of them only to tell the rest that there were remains of goblins. When he said he wondered what happened to them, Jean looked up. "I don't think I wanna know, kid!" Rowen stated quite simply. His expression was slightly grim as he glanced around with his one good eye, gripping his bow and arrow. Any seasoned warrior wouldn't want to find out what happened to those before them when met with such a mysterious sight.
"So this was some sort of mining area?" she said aloud before heading towards the cart that Artemis was near. "Well, lets try to get this over with and pray nothing finds us."
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Where Ryu might have been a good choice to lead, he didn't really push for it either. He seemed content letting Red show the way but he was second in line to follow Red too. There was a time in everyone's lives where they felt the need to act like an adult when they were a kid. Ryu understood that feeling and had let Red lead for a change. All the while, as they traveled, Annalese skipped behind the group. Where her senses were more likely to detect anything within these caves, it would be lucky if they could get her to focus for more than even a second to do so.
If Annalese annoyed anyone, they didn't show it. She was being, for the most part, quiet. With her being in her own world, it was much easier for those around her to focus on things. Having her questioning everything or make random remarks just didn't help.
Eventually, the path lead upward and it looked like they reached a dead end. No one realized the literal term for the end that they had just met. Red had just stated that they should probably head back when something fell from the ceiling.
Annalese, whom had been in her own world then, looked on in surprise. A giant spider was screeching at them hungrily! "GIANT INSECT THAT NEEDS SQUISHING!" she exclaimed, her voice shaken as she backed away. Ryu, Dyne, and Sain held their weapons at the ready as they too started to back away slowly. The thing was absolutely monstrous.

Artemis was all for nothing finding them. However he had a feeling that it wouldn't happen. It was almost as if someone had up and left the place in the middle of the day. They didn't bother to bring their tools. What could cause something like that? Leading the way past the cart, Artemis had the feeling that they were going to find out.
The tracks lead them down a slope and around a curved path. The sealing was slightly higher then the corridor they had walked before reaching the large opening before. The path they took now went even further down on a steeper slope.
"If this just ends up going over a ledge..." Artemis wasn't looking forward to having to climb back up. It would be hard with Lakari as well.
Thankfully the slope suddenly leveled out. The party found themselves facing a large steel gate. It was red with rust and the door to the gate was left wide open. Artemis could just make out a set of words craved into the gate. He said them aloud. "Woe to all who enter here."
----------------------
Red was forced to leap back. Keyblade forming in hand. Red watched as one of the spider's legs smashed down right where he had been standing. As it moved back Red was shocked to see that a small crater had formed where the leg had struck the rock. That was one powerful leg!
"I hate spiders." Red said with a scowl. The creature was big and powerful, but there were five of them. Together the spider wasn't going to have a chance!
Red wasn't going to rush in against the opponent. The spider's beady eyes watched him as he backed next to Ryu and the rest. "Let's take it down together." This spider wasn't going to have a chance!
This thought stayed with Red until the spider let out another shrill. Not even a second later two more spiders of the same size crashed from the sealing to the floor behind the spider. "Maybe we need a new plan."

Jean checked the place one more time, unable to find anything else except abandoned tools. When Artemis and the others started to head further down a path, Jean followed suite. The path itself seemed to wind downward. It once became so steep that Artemis had to say something about it.
"No worries, kid. If that happens, I can just float us back to safety." It wasn't that Rowen was trying to brag, even though he sort of had, but he was telling the truth about some of his power. Rowen could easily float them to safety should they need it.
"Lets hope we don't have to resort to that."
The slope finally leveled out and they had come before what appeared to be some sort of large gate. It was rusty and rather old looking. In the gate, Artemis read what was said on it.
"...I guess it's safe to say we know where those who have been here have gone seeing as the gate's open." Rowen nodded at that.
---------------------------------------------------
The spider was definitely not something that could be easily taken care of. As Red narrowly avoided being stomped on, it became clear that the ones that would be squished would be them if they weren't careful.
No sooner had Red suggested they fight together when two more spiders of equal size had shown up. "Three?!" exclaimed Annalese. Dyne and Sain were backing away.
Ryu set his swords afire as he looked back at the gigantic arachnids. "I think I could set them ablaze..." he suggested. After all, the spiders were still spiders...just bigger.
"This would be so much easier of we all had a can of raid!" Sain stated.
"I don't even think a few cans of raid will get this thing down, Sain!" Ryu replied.

Artemis nodded to Jean along with Rowen. This was definitely where they had come from. What they would find inside? Well there was only one way to find out.
Once again taking the lead, Artemis led them through the gates. On the other side there was just a continue of the tunnel. Not much really to be seen anyway. Said corridor continued for a good half a mile before suddenly the corridor led to an opening.
Upon stepping out Artemis found himself looking at an entire underground city. Artemis was amazed with what he saw. There were hundreds of homes and in the center Artemis spotted a large castle with large towers. In addition a large wall surrounded the entirety of the city.
The city had been built right into the rocks of the cave, giving the city a majestic look. The towers of the castle sparked with yellow gold. It was an amazing sight with only one thing wrong. It was entirely unoccupied.
--------------------
Fire was an excellent idea! In fact at sight of the fire the creatures let out a shrill together. It was a shrill of anger and caution. The creatures, though weary of the fire, were smart enough to know that if they didn't take the attack they'd go up in flames.
These creatures were smart. It was obvious by the way they all picked on one person. Dyne. Why they had chose Dyne? Well Red didn't know. But they had all charged at once. While the main spider attacked the other two aimed to defend its back.
Red went to try and attack the creature from behind, but found himself facing one of the others who blocked its back. It let out a shrill and charged its hind legs forward. Red was forced to leap back again to dodge the menacing strike.
"Damn creatures."" He swore aloud. It was time he started using his new abilities. Red turned his keyblade facing the ground as six flames leaped form the pendent in the center of the hilt of the weapon and took the shape of flaming pixes. They floated around him waiting to do his biding.

Despite the cryptic writing, Jean followed Artemis into the tunnel as did the other two. Walking, it seemed like just any other passage like before. It went on for quite some time before the tunnel opened up into a bigger opening. Looking around, Jean's eyebrows raised considerably. Within, she found herself looking at what appeared to be an underground city.
In the very center was a large castle that was built into the cavern wall. On the top of the towers, it glittered with gold. Over all, the sight was amazing. Yet, there wasn't anything quite right here.
"Where is everyone?" Jean said aloud, looking about for any trace of life. Much like the cavern earlier, no sign of life was to be seen. It looked just as empty as the other areas of the cave.
----------------------------------------------------
Once it was agreed to try out the fire, Ryu unleashed a jet of flame. The spiders immediately backed away when they noticed that Ryu could conjure fire. However, that didn't stop them from trying to attack them all still. Intelligence wise, these things proved to be more than mere pushovers. They weren't just towering idiots. The things knew how to avoid the fire and protect themselves at least to last long enough.
"They won't go down easy!" Sain exclaimed after just dodging a flailing leg. Ryu resorted to throwing fireballs at the nearest spider in attempts to set it on fire.
Suddenly, Dyne found himself singled out. All three of the spiders zoned in on him and charged! Looking wide eyed all around, Dyne looked to the floor before tossing his head back and seeming to fall into the flooring and disappear from sight. Just what had happened to Dyne?

It was a good thing Dyne had disappeared into the earth because Red shouted, "Dyne! Hit the floor." Then he raised his keyblade and pointed it at the hulk of the spiders. Two of the flaming sprites surged forward. When they did they expanded until they were large columns of fire racing across the room.
They slammed into the spiders and threw them against the wall of the cavern. The flame had burnt the creature it struck into a dead crisp, but the other two were still well standing. And being slammed into the wall made them only angrier. They let out a shriek and both charged Red.
If it wasn't for the remaining pixies there was no way he could stop them. Red leaped back and sent the remaining pixies out in front of him. They created a wall of flame that stretched to the sealing and lit up the entire room. The spiders wanted nothing to do with that fire and backed off in fear.
Since both were charging though, one of the creatures sent the other into the flames when it collided with it. The fire struck the spider like a hungry animal. Red could hear its dying screams as the fire ate at its skin.
-----------------------------
Artemis nodded. "What would cause an entire city of goblins to disappear?" There really was only two possible answers really. Either they left, which was entirely possible. Or they were dead. But what could have caused them to leave their homes? Or. What was strong enough that it could kill an entire city of goblins?
Shaking his head, Artemis sighed. He had forgotten that they were looking for something specific. They needed to find those three crystals. Somehow Artemis had a feeling that they needed to head for the castle. It made sense. Where else would someone keep such treasures but in a castle?
"Let's head to that castle."

It really had been a good thing Dyne resorted to his special abilities as he had seemed to disappear into the ground. No sooner had he done so when Red unleashed his own fire attack. Out of the three spiders, only one was burnt to a crisp. Now, there were just two angry spiders left.
The remaining two charged at Red but the flames he conjured that took on the appearance of pixies blocked their path by forming a large wall. When they did, the spiders tried to stop. One accidentally bumping the other into the fire as it did so.
Now, there was just one spider left.
"I guess we can all just beat down on the last one?" Sain called.
-------------------------------------------------------------
Jean shrugged at the question Artemis had asked them all. She really hadn't a clue as to what would make Goblins up and leave like that. Most likely something pretty serious. Rowen looked around uncertainly, examining a tool that had been left on the ground. "Maybe some kind of creature or power?" he replied to Artemis's question.
It wasn't long before Artemis suggested they go to the castle. Out of all the other structures here, Jean didn't see anything else potentially hiding one of the crystals. "Best place to try and look."
With that, they all headed right up to the castle. With the stillness in the air, it was hard not to feel a bit uneasy. It felt like they were being watched but there was no one around to be doing so. It was disturbing to say the least.

Well Red was all out of fire for now. Good thing too because there was only one of the creatures left. Together they could take it down together. They just had to be careful was all.
"Ryu! Dyne and I will distract it. You get behind and blast it with fire. I'm all out." Once he was sure Ryu got the messaged he nodded to Dyne and charged the spider. It had been watching them all curiously.
It was trying to figure out who to attack, Red could tell that much. As Red charged the creature let out a screech and charged at Dyne and himself as well. Hopefully Ryu would come up in time and attack it from behind.
-----------------------------
Artemis thought same as Rowen. There was some power or creature at work here. The trip through the city just solidified that feeling. All that he could hear was the sounds of their footsteps. Nothing seemed to stand out first until they got nearer the castle. That was when Artemis began to notice the broken down homes, towers, and buildings. It was as if something large had collided in with them.
As they approached the castle, Artemis was shocked to see a giant hole in the wall of the castle. Something definitely had forced itself into that castle. Artemis had the feeling they were going to find out what too. "Perhaps it is best if we walk in silence from here on." He whispered.

There was just one more spider remaining. As Red called out to Ryu, letting him know what they were going to do, Dyne already braced himself for what the spider would do next. It was peering at them with its many eyes as if unsure who to go after first. Since Red and Dyne were closer to it, the spider charged after them! Sain ran up to the side, to try and help but he was too far to interfere.
Ryu, having heard Red and seeing the thing charge for them, engulfed his katanas in flames and charged after the spider. When he did so, Ryu gave a leap. Coming down at the spider, he gave several slashes with his burning blades.
The spider, feeling the fire cutting into its tough hide, screamed before the fire engulfed it completely. The spider took a moment, flailing around before finally dropping dead.
-------------------------------------------------------
Jean walked along with the others in silence. As they got closer to the castle, it became more obvious as to what happened here. Something large must have caused all this. It looked like the doings of some sort of gigantic creature.
As if thinking the same, Artemis suggested they be quiet from then on. Jean gave a silent nod, as did Rowen as they got closer, a large hole in the castle showing where whatever the thing might have gone that might now lurk here.

Well the spider was dead. That was good. But now what were they supposed to do? Red went over to the remaining spider that Ryu had killed. It had fallen forward as the fire had lit its back burning its weak point.
"Nasty things." Red said. The skin was burnt to a black crisp where the fire had struck. "Nice hit though." He told Ryu with a smile.
Going over to the spider that had run into a wall of fire, Red found only ash left. Had he really burnt the creature that much? There was a large pile of ash too and right in the middle of the room. "These spiders must be native to the cave. Maybe that's why there are no goblins?" It was a question, but Red didn't expect anyone to answer it.
Letting his keyblade disperse, Red turned to the rest of them. "Mine as well head back to the meeting spot. We can figure what to do from there." Red was going to make the first step, but a sparkle seen in the corner of his eye made him stop.
Red could of sworn he just saw something in that ash.... Going over to the ash, Red called his keyblade back and moved some of the ash. Sure enough Red brushed off enough ash to reveal a blue crystal. "Guys I found it!" That was one down. Only two more.

Walking into the castle was weird. Especially since there were no lights lighting their way. Artemis could see almost nothing, but he knew they were in a huge room. In fact it seemed that they stood in an entire castle that had not even a single floor!
Artemis would have said something, but he didn't want to risk sounding too loud. He made his way quietly. He also noted that it was actually warmer in the castle then it was out in the middle of the city. There had to be some sort of source of heat, because after a short while of walking, Artemis started to sweat.
He came to a stop though when his foot struck something. Whatever he hit caused the sound of a loud bing that echoed like only a large room could. Artemis couldn't see to well, but as he reached down he found himself looking at a golden chalice with red rubies engraved into it. The thing was worth a fortune!
"What an odd thing to find in a castle."[/i] Artemis thought to himself. He motioned them though to move forward.

Once the spider was dead, Ryu made the flames on his sword die out. The flames on the spider naturally died out when there was nothing else left to consume of the spider flesh. Sheathing his katanas, he heard Red make the compliment on the fire attack he had made. "Just to think a few years back that might've not been possible!" he mused in response.
When Red said what he thought as to the reason for no goblins, Ryu just shrugged. "It could be a possibility!" replied Sain.
Dyne wiped his forehead and sat on the ground, breathing heavy. That was too close of a call again. He didn't know how many times his life had flashed before his eyes just then. Too many to count, that was for sure. Lucky thing that he had an affinity for luck on his side it seemed.
When Red found a crystal, the others approached him and peered at it curiously. "Guess this means one down and three to go!" Ryu stated.

Upon entering the castle, it was dark and hard to see. There were no lights lit for them to see where they were going. Jean and Rowen didn't dare risk lighting something in case they pointed out to the new dwellers where they were. After all, there was no telling what they might find inside here.
When Artemis hit something with his foot, Jean and Rowen both let out a gasp in surprise. When they realized it was just something Artemis had accidentally hit, they calmed down.
"It's hard to see in here!" Jean whispered but loud enough for those near her to hear.
