Master Issac smiled at Jean. He waved the image away. And once again there was only himself and Jean. It was time. There was only one heart left, and it was about time they joined the entire group together. "I will give you an option Jean." He told her.
Stretching his arms he opened a portal of darkness before them. "I told you that we would be watching, and I meant that. But now that the watching is done it seems the next actions have to be made. I need one more heart. And I leave the option up to you. Will it be yours? Or will it be Lakari's?"
If she chose Lakari it would be a simple task of walking into that portal. If she chose herself.... Then they would be battling. But the decision needed to be made.
-----------------------------
Lakari smiled. Ah! He had done it! Now there was only one more death. Lakari had been told to take Red's life as well. He was to be the last heart. Master Issac had given him the task of completing it. Clutching the knife, Lakari took a step towards the crying and stunned.
Those steps came to a stop as the doors opened once more above. Lakari turned his head to see Ryu and Dyne carrying an injured Rowen into the room. If he was going to kill Red it would have to be now! He ran over, not having enough power to use more magic, towards Red, with knife in hand.

Jean didn't tear her eyes away from the image until Isaac forced her to by removing the image from the stained glass window. Turning her attention to the leader of that twisted group, Jean furrowed her brows as he spoke. He was going to give her an option? Why was that? Why throw it upon her shoulders so suddenly?
Knowing time wouldn't wait for them, already she was beginning to feel antsy. She knew that if she didn't move it, Red would probably be dead. Her friends, those other than Sain who had survived, would surely be in similar danger.
Listening to Isaac, she almost couldn't believe what she was hearing. Did this man have no loyalties? Offering her to give up Lakari's heart or her own? It really mattered little to him, didn't it as to where the heart came from? Her heart feeling like time won't wait, knowing Lakari had managed to get to where Red was, sh had a nasty feeling if she didn't decide right away that he would be trying to kill Red next.
Unaware if the others had gotten into the room in time, she clenched her fists as she was forced to make the decision. What bothered her though was what would happen if the final heart should be given up. Still, her friends were currently in no condition to do an actual fight. Not from what she knew of anyway.
"I can't believe you're making me decide. I'm not even sure why you're giving me these options. It's only obvious which decision I would choose..." she trailed off, uncertain. Well, there was only one way to find out and if she stalled any longer, Red could end up dead.
"Lakari's." Her expression was firm even though her eyes looked worried about what may happen. If Isaac decided they would actually fight in the end then so be it.
---------------------------------------------------------------
By the time Rowen had gotten back up in the room he had been in, started limping his way over, Ryu and Dyne had shown up. Neither appeared to be hurt on the outside but they had been huffing and puffing. None spoke when he had asked them what happened to Sain. It had been the haunted look to their eyes that made Rowen quiet then. Something definitely had happened to Sain and it looked like it wasn't something that he would be coming back from.
Unable to mourn his friend's death, the three turned to where Red's room had been. According to Ryu, Lakari had to have gone somewhere in the castle and all bets were it might've been to where Red was. From what they knew, Red was in battle still and there was no way for them to get inside where Jean would be.
Seeing Lakari's back turned to them, Rowen started stringing an arrow to his bow but his speed was slowed down from the poisoning. So far, the effects only appeared to slow him down but it didn't help when he was trying to save a younger friend.
"RUN, RED!" shouted Ryu when he noticed Rowen wasn't going to be able to move fast enough.

Master Issac knew exactly what he was doing. And Jean had hit his thoughts right on. In the end it mattered little to him about who lived or died. It all came down to seven hearts. And seven hearts he had to have. Only then would he succeed.
To succeed was the ultimate goal of course. And to achieve that goal, he would do anything. Turning on someone was the least of his worries. Extending his hand, Master Issac summoned a portal of darkness. It would take them right to the first room.
Of course there was something that Master Issac had not said. The last heart had to be taken in that room. Just as the last heart had to be taken by Jean and no one else. Of course she did not know that. "Then go. And save your friend."
-----------------------
The shout had come to late. Red could only look up as Lakari's hand went up, knife ready to plunge. He would succeed! The arrow would hurt, but it would not kill him. Lakari had no more magic, but Master Issac would surely heal him. Then all that he promised Lakari would be his.

Jean knew time wouldn't wait and she was already getting more antsy by the second. She knew something had to be done to remove one's heart. Considering the previous battles, it was only obvious what had to be done. One had to forcefully remove it from their opponent. Did that mean that he would have her fight Lakari? If that were the case, she could see it as avenging the friends they had lost. Ogre and Sain would be avenged, that much was true.
She wasn't aware that the final heart had to be taken by her. Why, she wasn't sure as a portal opened up. It lead into the room where the others were. Jean didn't need Isaac's words to tell her what she had to do. The moment the portal opened, she unsheathed her swords and rushed in.
When she got out, she saw Lakari's turned back and saw Dyne, Ryu and Rowen trying to stop him. By the time they would move it would be too late. Eyes narrowing with a set determination, Jean darted for Lakari's turned back. In an instant, to those who might've seen her, she seemed to disappear before reappearing in front of Lakari. When she did, she swung one sword at him in a horizontal fashion, the other she held back in case she needed to parry with it. A silent fury burned in her eyes as she looked back at him.
"You won't be taking anymore lives!" she growled.

Master Issac followed Jean through the portal in time to see the look of shock cross Lakari's face as the sword slashed across his side. At such short distance and speed there was no dodging the attack. The shock of betrayal was not aimed at Jean though. He looked past Jean as Master Issac entered the room.
"Master...... why?" Was all he managed to say as he dropped to the floor. And that was seven. As the last heart began to float out of Lakari's body, Master Issac's keyblade formed in his hand. When it did, something strange happened. The heart that would have disappeared like any normal heart paused in the air.
Issac only had to raise the keyblade as a bright light burst through the air and collided with the heart. And when it did six other hearts formed around it. Turning the weapon the sound of a door unlocking could be heard echoed across the area.
And once he did the room around them seemed to melt, and in a way it did. All that was left was pure white nothingness. Master Issac couldn't hide the smile from his face as a sudden door appeared in front of all of them. The door was huge over thirty feet tall. It had two sets of doors both closed like a gate.
In all reality it was the most beautiful thing he had ever seen. A mix of colors and were painted on the door and its two handles made a blue heart. Master Issac seemed to have forgotten that everyone had moved with him to this place. He just stood before the door in complete amazement.

Jean watched as her weapon struck down Lakari. She could see the shock on his face as she did it. Her eyes remained narrow as she watched him turn away to look over at Isaac. 'May you now rest in peace Sain...Ogre!' she thought. Seeing that Lakari may not attack, she lowered her weapons.
Rowen, Dyne and Ryu looked on with shock. Barely managing to ask his master why, Lakari finally slumped to the floor, dead. When he did, she watched as the final heart rose from Lakari's body. What will happen next? She wasn't sure as six other hearts appeared around it.
Then, as Isaac made a keyblade form, he pointed it at the hearts and the sound of something unlocking filled the air. Then, the area around them all suddenly became white as they moved from where they were to another dimension. Jean looked around confusedly as Dyne, Ryu and Rowen walked over to them to stick close.
"What's going on?" Ryu said aloud as two double doors suddenly rose from out of nowhere.
"What is this?" Jean questioned.

Master Issac only just became aware of the people around. Oh yes. He had forgotten. They still had a purpose to serve. Master Issac turned to them, the happiness on his face was so clear. This is Kingdom Hearts" He told them all.
As Issac made his declaration, Red was slowly coming back to his senses. He was boiling with rage and anger. It was because of this man that this happened! It was his fault that Ogre and everyone else was dead. "He destroyed the only family I've ever known." Red thought to himself.
Slowly laying Ogre on the ground below, Red managed to shut the teens eyes. His heart was right there! Floating in the air. He couldn't really tell whose heart was whose, but one of them was Ogre's.
Red watched as Master Issac pointed his keyblade at the giant set of doors. The seven hearts that floated in the air began to revolve in a circle. Red watched as they went faster and faster until not even he could keep up with a single heart. The intensity of the spinning increased until a bright light erupted from them.
Only when it stopped was Red able to see what had become of the hearts. In their place was a large key in the sky. It was huge, and big enough to fit in the odd heart keyhole in the two sets of doors. "And this is the key to my success." Master Issac told them all.
"Success?"[/i] Red asked himself in confusion. What was he trying to accomplish? Red watched the giant key as it slowly moved towards the large keyhole.
Master Issac turned to them finally. "Kingdom Hearts is about to be mine. And with it, the endless power." Red didn't know too much about Kingdom Hearts. He was after all a keyblader with no master. He had taught himself everything he had known.
Yet if what Master Issac was saying was true, then this wasn't such a great thing. They had to stop him. Red raised his keyblade. "We won't let you." He said, looking to his companions for reassurance.

When Jean heard Isaac's answer, her eyes went to the double doors in amazement. If that was the real Kingdom Hearts, things wouldn't bode well here. She didn't know too much about it but it was said a keyblade wielder of any kind could gain great power from those very doors. If it were really Kingdom Hearts then he had to be stopped.
The hearts collected were brought before them, one of them Jean knew had to be Sain's. Another had to be Ogre's. The thing was, what could she and those without a keyblade hope to accomplish? They weren't as powerful.
It wasn't until Red raised his keyblade when the others decided what had to be done. With Red, at the very least, they could hope to stand a better chance. Rowen, Ryu and Dyne wouldn't be able to manage a fight again but Jean sure could. She hadn't fought the entire time so if it was needed, she could.
"I knew you were missing a few bolts upstairs!" she stated, holding her swords at the ready again.

Master Issac laughed! Oh how he laughed at their determination. They really thought they could stop him. But he knew something they didn't. "All I have to do is hold you off. As soon as that key enters the keyhole, Kingdom Hearts will be released! And do you know why I shall be victorious?"
He asked the question but didn't wait for an answer before he continued. "By opening Kingdom Hearts with the Keyblade of Murdered Hearts I can channel the power through all who dealt the killing blow to the seven hearts. I've studied for years learning of this magnificiant ritual and now I can finally accomplish it. Kingdom Hearts will destroy you and with all of you I can use that power without suffering from your peril!"
Red was a bit confused. It sounded almost as if Master Issac planned to make the people who were responsible for the release of that heart would be filled with so much power their bodies wouldn't be able to take it. Of course he had no idea, but that was why Master Issac couldn't kill Jean. It had to be Jean otherwise Master Issac couldn't use the ritual.
"I've had enough of this."[/i] Red thought to himself. "Jean! Take him from behind." At the same time, Red rushed forward, raising his own keyblade.

Rowen wasn't sure if he could take another fight, he was far too tired and hurt to continue. Ryu and Dyne didn't show any outside wounds but they too didn't look fit enough for another battle. In fact, Dyne was still somewhat hunched over, breathing hard. As they all listened to what Isaac was saying, it became clear this guy was a madman. He had to be if he wanted nothing but power over all.
Jean, out of them, hadn't been in a real fight yet throughout their time here. She was raring to go. If it meant the worlds, Jean wasn't going to back down. Sure, she regretted the fact she had a hand in it but she also now had the chance to stop it.
The only other person that seemed keen to fight was Red. Could they make it in time? Well, Jean wasn't sure but they were about to find out. As long as they worked together, they should be alright. No way was she going to allow them all to just be demolished here. They weren't going to go down without a fight.
Hearing Red's words, Jean merely nodded before seeming to disappear in the blink of an eye. Seconds later, she appeared directly behind Isaac and aimed a vertical slash at his head.

Master Issac didn't even seem to move. As Jean appeared behind him, ahead of Red, his keyblade suddenly appeared in front of her. He didn't even need to look at her to block the attack. His keyblade struck at Jean, trying to drive her off.
At the same time Red was charging. Master Issac was unarmed. Now was his chance! Red would see just how he planned on blocking. Of course Red had no idea Master Issac had abilities that didn't even need a keyblade. Two balls of dark flames appeared in his hand. As both flew and in front of Red, he was forced to stop as Red flames spread in front of him.
Red stopped. He couldn't depend on Jean. Not with Master Issac's keyblade attacking again and again! Master Issac walked forward away from Jean. He bore a grin that proved his insanity. All the while the floating keyblade ahead came closer and closer!
"I need to get through these flames."[/i] But what could he do? The flames rose up in front of him burning black in color and the heat that came from it was ferocious. Suddenly Master Issac stepped back and fell into a shadow! At the same time his keyblade disappeared as well.
Before Red knew what was happening he felt a sharp pain as a keyblade struck his back, throwing him across the room. Master Issac stood behind him, his weapon in hand.

As Jean appeared behind Isaac, she didn't expect the keyblade he had to block her attack. Once it had, it retaliated by striking at her. The tactic of driving her back had surely worked. Being a former general, her reflexes were a bit more seasoned than her friends other than maybe Red. That was the only reason why she just narrowly escaped damage.
Red, on the other hand, wasn't as lucky. Having had been struck out on more than one occasion, Red was driven back too. Black flames blocked his path even. Then, without warning, he was struck so hard behind the back that he was sent flying!
"RED!" she exclaimed before focusing on Isaac, her eyes narrowed. Gripping her swords, she knew what she had to do. No more time to be messing around after all! Darting at Isaac, she disappeared only to appear behind him, aiming a slash at his back. Once that was done, she disappeared again only to show up on his left and aim another slash at him. Then, whether or not she hit with either strike, Jean appeared on his right, slashing. Once that was done, she appeared right before him and swiped at him again with her sword.
Once she was done, Jean landed catlike on the ground and turned to see what damage had been done to Isaac, if any.

Red was just getting up when Jean made her assault. For Master Issac it was simple child's play. His body was in the best shape of his life, despite his age. And so when Jean came forward and slashed, Master Issac had to simply block the first strike. After that it was a simple matter of stepping forward into her moving shadow and falling into it.
Such the process repeated as every time she slashed he traveled twice more. So when Jean landed catlike on the ground, he rose from her shadow as well. His keyblade swung forward in attempts to hit her from behind.
Red watching the whole thing, spoke up when he saw Master Issac rise from behind. "Jean behind you!" Hopefully his call did not come too late. Even more the keyblade above moved closer and closer to the door to Kingdom Hearts. It would not be long before it reached its destination. They perhaps had ten more minutes!

Red's shout had come a tad too late. Just as Jean had landed, and Red shouted a warning to her, she turned. It was too slow of a turn so by the time she was facing Isaac, she was hit in the chest by the blade and sent flying. The impact of his blade had hit her so hard, she ended up flying back ten feet.
Landing in a heap, she didn't get back up immediately. The pain she felt was so great that she coughed and spluttered. If Isaac had tried to slice her then, he could have just then. She was lucky he had resorted to just a blunt strike.
Coughing a few times, she forced herself to her feet despite being bent double. That strike really knocked the wind out of her but she had to keep going. Time wouldn't wait for them and her friends needed her as did the fate of the worlds.
'I've got to keep trying!' she thought as she finally stood up straight again. If Phantom Blades didn't work she'd only have two other tricks up her sleeve. Five swords revolving around her appearing is if they came from thin air, Jean readied for her attack. Making sure she didn't strike when Red made to attack, Jean sent all five blades, one after the other, straight for Isaac in hopes of striking him.

Red attacked before Jean sent her eternal blades after Master Issac. He had managed to get up and struck the man to the right. As he did, Master Issac's arm moved with such ease. He blocked the attack as if it was nothing. It didn't even seem to matter that Red had put all of his strength in the attack.
Master Issac didn't move a single bit. As Jean's blades came flying, Master Issac was surrounded in a black aura. It even caused Red to move back. As the swords came flying, Issac centered the aura to a single point. And when each sword hit such spot it fell to the floor aimlessly.
The aura blocked three of the swords before it dispersed. Issac then resulted to blocking the remaining two swords with his keyblade. Red took advantage of this and went in to attack Issac from behind. He flung the keyblade face down and summoned five sprites. "Let's see how he deals with fire then!"[/i] Red thought to himself.
He sent all five sprites at Issac, expanding into a revolving flaming tornado aimed right at the villain. There was no running this time. Issac got struck by the blast full out. Red couldn't hide the joy from his face. "I hit him!" He called out to Jean! Could this really be it? Was the battle over at last?
When the fire died down there was no evidence of Issac's existence. Looking to the keyblade overhead Red's joy was killed by seeing that it was still moving. Issac wasn't dead. Otherwise they wouldn't still be here.
"Very good!" The voice came from overhead. Looking up Red found a man donned in red armor and chains. It was made of red circle plates connected by small chains. A red cape was attached from the back. With gloved hands and a visor covering his eyes, Master Issac was in a form that neither of them have seen before.
He floated in the air with ease coming down to stand in between the two of them. "To think I'd have to result to my final form." Issac stretched out his hands, each pointed at Red and Jean. Suddenly a chain made of darkness shot through the air like a bullet, attempting to lock around Red and Jean.

Jean gritted her teeth with annoyance seeing her attacks blocked. No matter what she did, she just didn't seem to be hitting the guy. It was frustrating for her to see him act as if their attacks had been nothing. 'Damn him!' she thought in aggravation.
Now, she just had only two options in mind left. Then she'd have to wait a while before she could hope to use any previous tactics again. Breathing hard, her chest hurting from the strike she had gotten there, Jean wondered if Red might be able to take advantage of the situation and land a hit on Isaac.
Red had attempted to get Isaac from behind but the fiend blocked his attack as well. Jean couldn't help but sigh with frustration. She and Red were the only ones trying to bring him down. It wasn't because Rowen, Ryu and Dyne were weak but the three couldn't really fight. The fights they had earlier made it hard to even try to get themselves involved. Without Sain, none of them could be healed right away to help in this fight even though Jean had a Cura spell that she could use.
She didn't resort to using Cura on herself though just yet or on Red because neither of them needed it right now. After all, it would be wise to conserve what energy she had. The sound of Red's voice announcing that he had hit him tore Jean away from her previous thoughts. Looking over with surprise, she couldn't help but smile at that. "Good shot, Red!" she called.
Their brief victory though was over in an instant. Of course, she should've known better to think that their fight was done and over with. She should've known the strike Red had made had not been enough. Isaac was far too resilient to be torn down that easily. The flames that had engulfed Isaac were moving. All that told her was that somehow the guy was still alive.
Sure enough, Isaac appeared directly above them. Looking upward, Jean frowned, her eyes narrowing. This guy just didn't know when to give up. Landing before them, he spoke. So this was what he called his final form? "JEAN! RED!" Rowen shouted seeing the chains shoot forth at the pair reminding Jean that the other three were still here. Annalese didn't seem to have been anywhere so far. Had she perished? Only Jean and Isaac knew she hadn't.
Reacting due to the shout Rowen had made, Jean turned to dodge but realized Red was right there. Reacting on impulse, she gave him a push to get him out of range before the chains got too close. Once that was done, she made to move but was unfortunate enough for her lower legs to get entangled in the chains as they wrapped about them, knocking her off her feet.
"Damn it!" she exclaimed.

Red had not expected the sudden chain attack by Master Issac. One moment he was preparing for the inevitable hit, the next he was being pushed out of the way. Landing he looked up in time to see Jean's leg get entwined with the chain.
"Jean! Watch out!" He called but it was too late. The chain traveled up Jean's leg tightening around her arms and holding her in place.
Getting back to his feet he ran over to Jean. With his keyblade, Red tried to cut the chain with a strike. However it was simply driven back as it clanged against the chain. Well if his keyblade wasn't going to be able to cut the chain, he'd just have to attack Issac head on.
"Let her go you bastard!" He exclaimed. He should have known better though. Issac's keyblade simply appeared in front of Red. As it swung at him with intense strength, Red's charge was stopped just as it begun. In fact he was forced to take steps back.
This really was getting annoying. There had to be something they could do to defeat Issac. There were a few abilities Red had yet to try but they were dangerous. Extending his keyblade he drew off the darkness in the room. Since Issac was practically covered in it the large ball of energy at the point of Red's keyblade was quite large.
Also since the chains were made of darkness, the one's around Jean dispersed and fed to Red's attack. The ball of energy was a good ten feet now. Red couldn't even hold the keyblade anymore. "Take this!" Red let the energy fly.

Yes, it had been too late for Red to warn her. Falling hard to the ground, Jean tried to free her legs with no success. Dyne and Ryu had to pull Rowen down because he tried to get up to help. The two knew that only Jean and Red could handle this out of them all. It was all up to them to save them all and the worlds.
As she struggled to get free, Red had hurried over and tried to cut her loose with his keyblade. She winced, shutting her eyes as sparks flew where his keyblade struck. The chains were too strong to be cut by his keyblade.
Turning on Isaac, it was now all up to Red to take care of Isaac. At first, Red was forced to back down a bit.
Then, the darkness in the area seemed to formulate into a single large sphere on the end of Red's weapon. Jean couldn't help but look on in awe. Then, quite suddenly, the chains around her dissipated. Getting up, Jean prepared to fight as she carefully backed away, unsure of how large Red's energy's blast would be.
'Please let this work!' she thought.

Red let the energy go. It ripped through the air like a hurricane as it collided with Issac's raised keyblade. At first Red thought that it wasn't going to hit. Master Issac didn't budge as he held the blast back. "Just what is it going to take to kill this guy?" He thought to himself.
But then inch by inch, Master Issac was driven back. Red couldn't see the frustration on his face, but it was there clear as day. And then at last it overcame the villain. There was a shrilling scream that filled the air as the energy struck. However a white light erupted from the contact and because of it Red was forced to look away.
Only when the light dispersed did Red dare look. Master Issac was on one knee breathing heavily and out of his armor. He was sweating and covered in bruises and small cuts. "Damn you!" He swore at them.
Red looked to Jean. That last attack had worn Red out. "Jean finish him!" He called out to her. But just as the words left Red's mouth Master Issac let out a laugh.
"It's too late!" Looking up Red saw that it was so. The large keyblade entered into the keyhole of the Door to Kingdom Hearts and a large clicked came from it. Master Issac rose from his feet and looked to the large doors as they began to open. "Kingdom Hearts is mine!"
Red had no control of what happened next. He saw nothing from the opened doors but a bright light. But he felt the power as it washed out. It was like being in the middle of a large gust storm. It battered at them all and it only increased its tenacity. But something as wrong. The power was drawn more to Rowen, Ryu, and Jean more so then Red and Dyne.

Jean was forced to shield her eyes when Red's ball of energy exploded after contacting with Isaac for a moment. At first she too had thought the man was going to deflect it. Thankfully, they were proved wrong as it burst. Covering her eyes, because of the stinging light, Jean didn't dare look over until she could see the light dim outside of her eyelids. Opening them slowly, she looked over cautiously.
Had Red just incinerated Isaac? No but there was something good that happened. Isaac's armor was gone and he looked hurt, if only a little. The way he was breathing indicated that Red's attack had taken a good amount out of him.
"Right-!" she stated, cut off by Isaac when she heard him speak. Looking back toward where the keyblade had been, her heart felt like it almost stopped. The doors had been opened!
"No!" she exclaimed. The doors opened wide as Isaac mentioned how the power would all be his. Something was definitely wrong though. Jean didn't notice it though since the power seemed to be running through her, Rowen and Ryu and they couldn't tell if Dyne or Red felt otherwise.
'Well, if this is it, I might as well use this new energy against Isaac to stop him!' she thought, glancing over at Ryu and Rowen, all of them nodding at her in return. 'Here we go!' she thought, turning to face where Isaac was. Somehow, they were still alive. None of them had exploded.
'This is for Sain and Ogre!' she thought. Twirling her blade before leaping high into the air, Jean pointed a sword downward and landed on the hilt. The sword she was standing on came down at Isaac swiftly, piercing through the air unbothered because of the power that had flooded into she and the others. "Dagger to the Earth!"
As she said this, Ryu and Rowen behind her prepared their attacks as well. Rowen had strung his bow with an arrow. The arrow glowed furiously as he released it, the arrow blazing as it went in Isaac's direction.
Ryu had conjured up a fireball to a size he normally wouldn't achieve. It had to be the size of a large boulder when he released it. This too followed Rowen's arrow right for Isaac.
