White found the large captain a decent opponent. His offensive strikes were slow, but his sabre was strong enough to keep White's attacks from doing any mortal injuries. He managed to give the captain a couple of scratches, each which drew blood, but the man just shrugged such cuts off like they were nothing.
It was his large body mass that made the attack difficult. Thankfully the other pirates stayed at bay to let their captain battle. That seemed to change though when a voice shouted out. White took a second to peer back. It seemed that Darius had finally returned. "About time." He said more to himself then to Darius.
Time to turn things up a notch. White sent a pulse of electricity down his arms and around his blade. This time when the big captain met his attack he slowed as the static of the electricity sizzled against him. It slowed him down temporarily. That was what White was truly hoping for.
He met the captain in a parry then drove the blade upwards. Coming out in a cross slash, his weapon sliced into the large man's chest down his side. This time White's blade went in three inches into the man. The big captain looked in confusion and anger as blood began pouring from his open wound.
The electric static had vanished but now the captain was slowed from the rapid blood loss. With Darius taking care of the other pirates there was no need for him to worry about them. The Captain looked at him through blood shot eyes.
"I will not be defeated!" He protested. The wound White had given him wasn't too bad. It wasn't a wound that would kill him if he didn't wait too long to get it sewed up. It seemed that Captain Cannon wasn't done.
The Captain let out a large bellow. White watched in confusion and awe as shadows from the ship suddenly flew from every direction towards the large captain. White didn't understand at first until he saw the yellow eyes of the creatures as the heartless climbed onto the Captain. White didn't understand what the Captain hoped to achieve by all this.
Heartless were dangerous creatures. They were not supposed to be your friends. They were darkness personified. "I give you my heart!" The Captain shouted.
White only had enough time to shout before the heartless sank their empty mouths into the enemy. "No!" He screamed. The captain fell in a heap of heartless as a new creature was born. It looked similar to the shadow that had attacked Darius earlier below deck. But this one took a more concrete form. It had two large cannons on its arms each connected to its shoulders.
The heartless had yellow beady eyes and a very muscular frame. It looked human enough, but clung to the floor like some mad beast. It's cannons held up its frame. The creature slowly turned its head to White.
"Um... Darius!" White wasn't going to be able to defeat this one on his own. The creature charged. It moved along the ground like a gorilla, using its cannons to leap forward. As it came near him it held up one of it's cannons and three balls of dark energy shot forth out of them.

After apprehending the pirate that went after him first, Darius occasionally glanced in White's direction to see how his ally was doing. It looked like he was handling himself pretty well. Captain Cannon was a giant of a man. The cuts that White made on his person didn't seem to really phase the guy. Truly, he was an opponent not to be reckoned with.
While White was dealing with the captain, Darius was running amok the ship to get the other pirates on board off his tail. Quite literally. Darius didn't really have a tail but his armor did. The pirates had tried grabbing on to it and the result, Darius dragging them across the ship's deck to get them off.
By the time he managed to get a good enough run to swing them off so they went rolling off the deck or hit the deck wall, Darius heard his name being called. Looking over, he saw White facing a bunch of Heartless. It looked like Cannon had just been engulfed by the monstrosities! Scrunching up his nose in disgust, Darius hurried over as the captain changed form. Now, he was a gigantic gorilla like Heartless.
"Now that's original!" he stated.
Upon transformation, it looked in White's direction and charged at him. It fired some energy balls at White as it did so. Running over to help out White, Darius did something both very brave and very stupid. As he was running, he gave a mighty leap. Landing on the thing's back region, he attempted to stick his broadsword into the area just between the creature's shoulders.

The creature let out a howl as Darius leaped ontop of it. The howl was both unhuman and shook the entire ship. As his sword stabbed into the creature, it thew off the blast of energy. Thank goodness because White just managed to roll out of the way.
Where the dark energy had struck left small craters of ash. "Jeez." He said to himself. Getting struck by that would have done more then small damage. This heartless was dangerous. "Darius don't get struck by it's cannon. It's a nasty blast." He warned.
The creature didn't like that Darius had jumped on top of him. In retaliation it slammed both of it's hand cannons against Darius in attempt to attack it. Hopefully Darius kept a watchful eye out for it. White took the opportunity and charged the heartless.
He summoned his electricity around his weapon. While the enemy was busy with Darius, White sneaked in under its radar and gave it an electric slash. It connected with the creature's abdomen and slowed the creature.
Hopefully Darius would take advantage and attack.

Darius was pleased to see his strike had made its mark. Hearing the thing howl in pain, he knew it hit home pretty well. However, it wasn't quite done just yet. Raising the canons, the Heartless made to slam Darius in between them! Having been too busy with the broadsword sticking in the thing's shoulders, Darius didn't expect it to do what it did next.
With a loud GONG Darius found his whole world spinning. His armor managed to protect him from getting crushed but the sound of the armor ringing sent his head spinning. Clutching at his head after pulling out the broadsword, Darius fell off the Heartless's back.
As he did so, White unleashed his own attack on the creature, slowing it down. By that time, Darius had regained his self composure although he was still a bit dizzy from what had just happened. Extending an open palmed hand with the palm facing the Heartless, a bright light erupted from his palm in a straight line toward the Heartless. It could be dodged if the monster decided to move aside since Darius could only direct this attack in a straight line.

The creature sensed the sharp ray of light headed straight towards it. The static electricity though slowed it down. So while it was able to avoid direct contact, it still was hit on the side. It drove the creature back and in response it let out another howl. This one was even louder then before.
White noticed that its yellow eyes looked to both Darius and White one after another. It stood up from the ground and raised both cannon arms into the air. The creature let out another bellow and slammed both cannon arms into the ground. White watched as the creature shot blasts at the ground.
"What was the point in that?"[/i] He thought to himself. The darkness that struck the ground though traveled along it. One of the blasts headed towards White, the other heading towards Darius.
Since he was closer to the creature it came nearest him first. When it was right by his feet the dark energy that traveled along the ground took the form of a large spike. White barley leaped to the right as a spike three feet high tried to impale him.
He had managed to dodge it! Hopefully Darius was paying attention and would dodge it too. White was about to shout out to be careful but he was a little preoccupied when the heartless charged him. Seems like the static had worn out. When it neared him it raised its cannon hands and attempted to smash him.
White brought up his kantana in time block the attack. He didn't expect so much power behind it though. He just managed to prevent the enemy from knocking him to the floor. Either way he was loosing against the weight and power of the creature.

Darius had to cover his ears when the creature let out a horrible howl. Well, at least the attack hurt it to an extent. Hopefully they would outlast the thing. Darius had fought Heartless before but nothing this huge! Once it was done screeching, Darius removed his hands from his ears.
He waited to see what it would do next as it looked between the two of them. Was it trying to assess what to do next? Carefully, Darius held his broadsword. He didn't plan on getting surprised a second time in a row.
Sure enough, the Heartless fired into the floor. As he did so, Darius could see the energy from the blasts reaching out toward them. One went in White's direction and the other was coming after him! "Crap!" he stated.
In response, Darius leapt away and rolled. If he hadn't, he would've found himself speared or who knows what. Getting on his knees, Darius looked back to see some sort of spike erupt from where he had been last. "Whew!" he stated.
Recovering from the roll, Darius looked over to where the Heartless had gone. It had lunged for White, whom was now barely holding it back with his katana! "White!" Darius exclaimed before running over to help. Once again, he ran toward it, leaping at it and stabbing downward to try and get it again between the shoulders.

This time the second stab to the back did some real damage. White could hear the sound of the sword hitting dark shadowed flesh. The creature howled even louder then before. White had to cover his ears, that's how loud it was.
In retaliation the creature began blindly shooting. Dark blasts of energy sailed everywhere through the air. They even made contact with some of the pirates and were left with holes in their bodies. They died almost instantly.
The parts of the ship that the blasts hit left small craters in them. When two of the blasts hit the mast there was a sound of cracking. Before White knew what was happening the large sail was tumbling down right towards them.
Leaping up and to the right, White just managed to dodge the large pole. The heartless however wasn't so lucky. It landed right on top of it.
A dying cry shrilled through the air as a heart suddenly flew from the mast. The heartless was dead! And the ship was filled with damages. The pirates were busy tending to their dying or dead comrades. They didn't even seem to notice White or Darius anymore.
"Let's get out of here now. Before they want revenge."

Darius was surprised the thing got hit a stabbed a second time in between the shoulders. He had been half expecting it to turn around and smack him aside or something. It looked like the Heartless hadn't learned the first time around that it had a vulnerable spot there. Hearing it cry out again, Darius was about to leap off before the thing went wild.
Thrashing about, it fired attacks this way and that! It moved about so much, Darius was forced to cling on for dear life. "Whoa!" he exclaimed, clinging onto his sword that was still stuck into the Heartless's flesh.
In the midst of its thrashing about, Darius and his sword slipped off the Heartless. Darius thanked his lucky stars that he hadn't landed in front of any oncoming attacks. By the time the thing stopped, a loud cracking noise grabbed Darius's attention. Looking up suddenly, he saw the broken mast coming down toward himself and White! "Oh crap!" he exclaimed, diving aside to get out of the way.
The Heartless hadn't been as fortunate. With a loud crash, the Heartless was crushed under the broken sail. Watching it disperse, a heart escaping it and going into the air, Darius knew the thing was finally defeated. As for the other pirates, it was easy to see that right now they were more occupied with who was left and who had died.
Turning to White, Darius nodded when he heard him speak. "This could've ended better." With that, he looked for the nearest way off the ship, sending his armor away and diving into the sea.

White wasn't too far behind to dive into the sea. However once in the sea the question now became how to get on land? They had leaped off the cliff into the sea before. As White doggy paddled he looked right and left. Where was the land? They were surrounded by cliffs!
"Did not think that one fully through."[/i] There really was only one answer. The underwater cavern. If the pirates rowed there it stood to reason that there was some sort of land inside. Maybe even a way to the surface.
It was the only idea he had. "Let's head to the cave. I don't see anything else we can do." With that he started swimming. It didn't take long to swim to the underwater cavern. Once inside it wasn't much longer either before the water was low enough that they could stand.
White noticed the row boat pulled on board. It wasn't too large of one, so it stood to reason there would only be maybe four or five pirates they would have to deal with here. Once on shore White checked to make sure he still had his all belongings. Things had a tendency of going missing when swimming.
Once he made sure it was all there he nodded to Darius. It would probably be best to remain quiet until they were either out of here or already on the pirates.
Traveling through the cave was mostly uneventful. The cavern passage ways all led in one direction. The only difficulty was that some of the length of the passages were smaller then others. It was best to be weary of the ceiling. He didn't want to get hit in the head. He'd loose some brain cells. And they were as precious as the rest of him.
Finally they came to a curve and White heard the sound of mumbling voices. Seems like the pirates were just ahead. Giving Darius a nod he withdrew his kantana. He was ready to go in and be the hero! Just as he was about to peer around the corner the sound of four pops filled the air.
It was clear that White was utterly confused. White wasn't the very cautious type. So without even a word he rushed around the corner. What he saw surprised him. There were four dead pirates bleeding from shots to the head. It was quite clear they were looking for buried treasure since they were all lying next to the shoveled hole.
Standing by the bodies was a young girl. She couldn't have been more then twelve years old with cute long red hair. That was where cute ended though. She was dressed in a white suit coat and pants with a black shirt and a red scarf tucked in underneath. Her eyes were bloodshot.
There was blood splashed on her face and her white suit coat. Without a doubt it was the pirates' blood. She held a single black pistol like gun in her hand. Upon seeing White, and most likely Darius she smiled.
White didn't know what to say. Who was this girl? Was she one of the children on the island? Somehow White did not think it was so. That sort of weapon didn't belong in this world.
The girl reached into her pocket and pulled out a white business like card. She threw it next to the bodies. Turning towards White, she spoke. But she wasn't speaking to White. "You look an awful lot like your twin." The words were directed to Darius.
Before even White could ask a question the girl turned the gun towards her head. White's eyes went large as she pulled the trigger! But what happened next was even weirder. The girl's entire body was sucked into the gun almost like a vacuum. And the gun itself vanished.

There certainly had to be something White and Darius had forgotten. The moment they got to the cliffs, they realized their problem. The two boys had forgotten about the fact that they had no idea where to go to get onto land! "Well, that didn't come out right!" Darius muttered.
He watched as White decided where to go next and followed him toward the sea cavern. Like White, he was guessing that maybe it eventually lead up toward land somewhere, maybe even the actual surface.
By the time they got out, Darius was glad to be free of the sea. He didn't like the idea of drowning or tiring himself out swimming when he could need the energy at a moment's notice. Looking around, shivering slightly from the cold, he followed White's lead. He wasn't as careful as White though when it came to watching his head.
Darius had to have hit his head at least twice before learning to duck, cursing under his breath up at the low hanging, rocky ceiling. "Damn cave!" he growled, rubbing his head with a grimace at where he had just hit his head.
A sound reached their ears, it sounded like voices. Knowing they had to be close to the pirates that owned the boat from earlier, Darius crept silently after White, doing his best to keep his head down. As they approached, Darius got out his steel pipe, waiting for when they would attack.
With White rushing out, Darius dashed right after him in pursuit. As they rounded the corner, however, the scene they came upon was quite surprising. Lowering his steel pipe, Darius looked on in surprise at the dead bodies of the pirates. Someone had shot them and that very someone appeared to be some sort of red haired girl. Looking over at her, Darius raised an eyebrow. It seemed like she was looking right at him and smiling.
Why was she smiling? Why was she here with a gun? Darius watched as she tossed out a white business card. Then, she spoke. What she had said, Darius had not expected to hear. He had thought that Ivory couldn't possibly be anywhere on this world. "You know Ivory?!" he exclaimed, the energy seeming to return to his limbs. If he could find some sort of trace, he would be relieved.
However, the girl didn't answer further, instead she pointed the gun to her head! "Wait! Don't-!" he exclaimed but it had already been too late, the girl shot herself in the head. Well, that was what it had looked like at first until one got a look at the fact that the gun was sucking her into the barrel! "No! WAIT!" he called, running toward where she was going but before he could reach her, he girl was gone along with her gun!
"Damn it!" Darius exclaimed. "Great! Now how am I going to find her?!"

White had been to stunned so he hadn't run after the girl when she turned the gun towards her head. He hadn't expected her to do such a thing. Why would a girl with so much ahead of her want to end her life. Apparently ending her life was not at all what she was doing. Wherever she was now, she wasn't here anymore.
When she had left, White moved over to the dead pirates. He couldn't see any bullets next to the bodies. Whatever she had hit them with, it wasn't bullets. Darius seemed distraught. He was looking for his sister and it seemed this girl knew her. But just who was she? Why was she here?
Being careful not to touch any of the bodies, White noticed the white card she had thrown on the ground. It had a black "7" on it. What an odd thing to put on a card. Bending down and picking it up, White turned over the card. What he read sent his blood running and his face full or rage.
"Served by The Keyblade Assassination Committee." White read the words aloud. It was quite clear that something was wrong. When Darius mentioned about how he was going to find her now, White answered. "I don't know. But I plan on killing her."
Letting the card drop to the floor, White turned towards the other end of the room. He needed to get out of this cave. That card had turned this entire thing around. It seemed coming here had payed off. On the other end of the wide cavern the path on a slant upward. Not even waiting for Darius, White started walking it up.

Darius felt like punching the cavern wall in frustration. He had been looking for Ivory for some time. The fact he couldn't find her was bothering him greatly. After all, she was his younger sister and he took care of her like any sibling should. She was all that he had left for family. It was just them two, their parents having died a long time ago. Sighing, he eventually turned to find White bending down to pick up the white card the girl had thrown earlier.
Wondering if maybe that could leave a clue as to where Ivory was, Darius wandered over to White and waited for him to read what was on the card. As he approached him, he noted the tone White had in his voice. It sounded like he had gone suddenly furious. Wondering what that was all about, Darius raised an eyebrow at him inquiringly.
White didn't elaborate though. All he did was toss the card aside, claiming that he didn't know how they were going to find the girl. Darius sighed. "If you do, could you wait a bit until I get information from her at least? I'm searching for my sister and apparently she knows her from somewhere." Now that he thought about it, if that girl knew his sister, why did she? Did she kill her maybe? The more he thought about it, the more dread he felt filling his heart.
Without saying anything, White tossed the card to the cavern floor and started to head off. "Hey, White! Wait up!" Darius exclaimed, having to hurry to catch up to him. Since their time here, Darius had found himself growing used to the other's company. Sure, there were some things that he did that Darius didn't agree with but they had gone through a lot in so little time. Catching up to him, Darius could see the sudden seriousness in his new friend. Apparently, something was bothering him.
"Do you know those people?" he questioned him as he walked alongside White.

White didn't really feel like talking. His head was fuming. He could see it all like it just happened. His master shouting, telling him to get their things together. Why, White hadn't known. If he had he would have moved faster. White was too busy pestering for why they needed to leave after just getting here. It didn't matter though.
He could hear the sound of the door slamming open. The crackling laughter as bullets ricocheted off his master before his shield couldn't hold a moment longer. The sound of lead pumping through the body. It was like he was there again. Watching it all happen and being able to do nothing as his master, no his best friend died.
When Darius caught up, White was washing away tears. He asked him about if he knew those people. White didn't trust his voice to answer. Instead he continued to walk until at last light penetrated from above. They had found the way out.
Coming out into the sunlight, White had to shield his eyes. He had gotten used to the semi darkness of the cave. Any tears that were there on his eyes were gone now. He had calmed down somewhat.
Feeling like he owed Darius some sort of answer he said this, "Not personally. But they're murderers. If she knew your sister that isn't a good thing." That was all White could say. He really was clueless about this "committee" he had spent his last year searching for the man who had killed his master. This was his first encounter with another person who claimed to be a member of that committee.
Oddly enough the cave left out right by the beach. At the end of the beach was the forest where his cycle had crashed. How was he going to fix that? He had forgotten all about that with all the recent happenings.
Walking over to it he was surprised to find that it was fixed! "How in the...?" He asked himself aloud. Who had fixed his bike? Walking over to inspect it further White found another white card by it. There was no "7" on the back though like before.
There was a few sentences though. "You want answers Dragon? Go to Halloween Town." It was clearly written to Darius. White looked at him. "It seems like we will be traveling with each other. I have some questions they need to answer as well."

Darius could see that White didn't seem to want to talk at the moment. The way he was glaring ahead made that very obvious. So, Darius tried not to press on the matter further. He would leave it to White to say anything if he wanted to. Maybe those people did something to have angered him? What it was though, Darius couldn't be sure.
The pair of them walked further into the cave. After a while, White finally spoke. Darius couldn't tell White had shed tears due to the darkness in the cave. Listening to him, Darius wondered if someone White knew had been murdered by those people. If that was the case then he could see why White would feel so strongly.
"I thought you might say that." Great, his hopes of Ivory being alive had gone down a severe notch. If that were the case, Darius wasn't sure what he would do. He was still clinging onto that small shred of hope that she still was. His spirits were very low though. He wasn't really sure what to think as they finally reached the exit.
His eyes having gotten so used to the gloom, Darius winced, gritting his teeth as he brought up a hand to shield his eyes from the painful sting they got from the sudden light. When his eyes finally adjust after a moment, White's bike was before them all repaired. "Wow, didn't expect this. Who did it?" he inquired.
White told him that apparently they would be traveling together and that the note had mentioned 'dragon' and 'Halloween Town'. "It certainly looks like it...shall we?"

White gave Darius a smile. It was rare for him with such thoughts clinging to him still. "We'll make the best of this." White was the first onto the bike. He didn't have a helmet for Darius unfortunately.
Pulling on his helmet though he made a gesture for Darius to climb on behind him. When his friend did White started the engine. It vroomed to life. At least she fixed his bike. Not that he wanted her murdering hands on it. But he wasn't going to complain that much about it.
"Hold on tight. I'll try not to crash." He told Darius. With a twist of the wrist the gummi cycle raced forward. The beach's shore came racing towards them. Right as it looked like they were about to drive into the water the bike suddenly shot into the air.
