Darius, as they both got inside the mansion, couldn't help but wonder about it being unlocked. Glancing back towards the door they just came in from, he scrutinized it for a moment. It was probably just so old that it couldn't lock anymore, right? Yeah, that had to be it! It wasn't like there would be anyone in here...right? Somehow, his heart told him that this wasn't the case. His hopes were certainly going to be dashed soon enough. When, he didn't know but what he did know was that he didn't like this place at all.
At White's words, Darius inwardly felt relieved. No way did he want to go wandering around this old dump by himself! That was just asking to get stabbed or what not! "Yeah, getting separated wouldn't be a good idea."
He tore his eyes away from the door they came in from to where White was pointing. "Alright, looks like a good spot to start!" he stated. As the two of them headed toward it, White halfway there, when they were intercepted. Out from the shadows came a bunch of Heartless once again! Unlike the last ones though, these seemed more...eerie.
"You're right, they do look more like this place!" he agreed, clutching his broadsword in both hands, getting into a battle ready stance. Once again, they were going to have to cut through Heartless.
"I'm ready when you're ready, White!" he stated.

The seven heartless were search ghosts. Heartless known for their deadly claws they could move through walls. White watched as seven search lights sprouted from seven hanging eyes. It was creepy to see an eye hanging out of its socket. The eye itself moved and the search light moved with it.
Thankfully White had his kantana out. He stepped forward and directly into the search lights. They reacted immediately! One moment they didn't even know he was there, but the moment he walked into that search light they came charging towards him. It was all White could do to keep them at bay! His kantana was blocking one swipe after another.
They circled him quite quickly. "This is what I get for charging in. I got to stop doin that."[/color] He thought to himself. It seemed though that the enemies only saw him once he was in their search light. Since all of them were currently facing him this was the prime opportunity for Darius to attack them from behind.
"He better do it fast too. I don't know how long I can keep these suckers at bay."

As the Heartless appeared, Darius couldn't help but wonder why the darn things weren't attacking them first. Most Heartless would be focused on them by now. As he looked at them, it was clear they were some sort of ghost. The worse part about them had to be the eyeball dangling from a socket on each of them. It was grotesque and made Darius feel nauseated. It made him scrunch up his nose with disgust just looking at them.
The way the Heartless wandered about, it were as if the things literally couldn't see them as a light trailed where they were looking. Since neither of them had gone into the lights just yet, the Searcher Heartless didn't notice them.
Well, that is, until White stepped into the beams of light. Without warning, the things swarmed him! "HOLY SH-!" Darius exclaimed. Since he hadn't been in the beams of light, the Heartless didn't seem to know he was even there yet they were swarming White like pirannahs. 'Can they only see us if we're in those lights?' he wondered.
None came his way and they all appeared to have White on their main menu. Realizing White was just barely holding them back with his katana, Darius decided now would be a good time to intervene unless he wanted White to get sliced and diced by those claws. Careful not to use any spells, lest he accidentally blast White, Darius swung his broadsword at the backs of two Search Heartless. The process made him get into one's tracking eyeball and that one went straight for him, taking its focus off of White.
Darius just had time to stop it's attack before it got him. The thing soon accompanied by another one! Well, at least their main focus now wasn't jsut White.

With Darius defeating two, and adverting two more to his attention, White was given the opportunity to better situate himself. With only three heartless now, White felt confident enough that he could take them. As one of the enemies clawed towards him, his response was a roll. Coming up behind the creature, White slashed at its back and caused it to disperse.
That left two more for him to take care of. He fell into their search lights fairly quickly. But this time he was prepared. As one of the heartless went to his right, White used the kantana to not only block the attack, but using his other arm he pressed the side of the blade pushing the enemy's claw back from a further attack.
Letting his hand then drop, he swung his kantana upward slashing the ghost clean in half. "One to go!" White thought to himself. It was at about that time that a sudden roar shook the building.
White had been starring at the heartless when he watched it and whatever enemies were left, disappear. The roar came from further into the room. White turned to find himself facing a large predator made of just bones. There was no way to tell what it had been while it was alive, but it stood six feet tall and at least ten feet long. It looked like the skeleton of a large wolf mixed with a tiger and dog.
"I'ma guess that's the guard dog." It wasn't a question.

Knowing he had relieved White a little of his problems. Now, they at least had more of a manageable group to attend to. White had three foes and Darius was down to just two again. Since the buggers moved faster than Darius could blink a few times, his attention was immediately put on the Heartless trying to rip his heart out quite literally! The way they were slashing at him, he would be torn to pieces if he let his guard down.
Pushing them back with his broadsword, since they were after him like hungry wolves after a piece of meat, Darius wondered if his armor could hold them back should they get past his defenses. 'I don't want to end up shish kabobbed!' he thought.
Then, something happened. A huge roar split the air and shook the mansion. Falling back on his butt in surprise, Darius watched as the Heartless suddenly left. Whatever just let out that thunderous roar had scared off those Heartless. With nothing else there to distract him, Darius turned his head toward White. As he did so, he saw it! Bright blue eyes widening, Darius couldn't help but feel his face pale.
"I-I'm gonna say...you guessed right!" he replied, staggering back to his feet. Man, was he a big one! Warily, Darius glanced about at the mansion. Would it be able to withstand a monster like this? Heck, would it withstand a battle in here with something that big? Maybe not for long, if at all.
"Nice doggy!"

White looked up at the creature with wide eyes. How the hell were they going to beat that? Before he could even say anything, the skeleton animal charged at them. It came at them like a mad beast. And it was a mad beast. It's jaw opened and let out another roar as it came right at Red. The mouth had a three feet length. There was no way his kantana was going to block that!
Having no choice but to roll out of the way, White came to its side and tried slashing at it. His weapon just bounced off the bones like it was nothing. "What the heck!" He exclaimed. The enemy had been turning towards Darius in an attempt to strike it, but White's strike brought its jaw snapping at him again.
This time he was forced to jump backwards. "Darius see what your broadsword can do!" Sadly his kantana wasn't doing a thing against this enemy. How were they supposed to kill an undead beast made of hard bone!

As Darius got to his feet, the creature came charging at them. Well, more specifically, at White! Seeing the size of the mouth made Darius feel queasy. It was so huge! Well, no wonder people were warning them about the guard dog. This thing was just...massive and brutal! He should've expected something like this, now that he thought about it.
White had no choice but to roll out of its way when it tried to snap him up. As he did so, it began to slowly turn on Darius! Darius got into a battle ready stance when it did. Interference came in the form of White though as he struck its side with his katana. The only problem with that was that it didn't even make a dent in the bones!
'How the heck are we going to withstand this thing?' he wondered. Hearing White's words, Darius guessed it was worth a shot. His broadsword might've been more durable impact wise. It was worth a shot!
While White jumped away from it, Darius jumped at it and swung downward at the thing's spinal column. Would it work?

The thing about bones is that they crack. White was hoping on that. But he had not fully understood what it meant to be undead. The sound of a crack was a sound of hope. But the creature just seemed annoyed with it. It turned its head to Darius. The thing moved as if the crack wasn't even there!
The enemy had however turned its newly cracked bone towards White. Seeing the opportunity, White did more then just attack it. He grabbed the bone with his hands and actually tried to rip it off. And even more surprising was that he succeeded. "Yes!"[/i] White thought to himself.
But the skeleton did not drop to the ground as he thought it might. In fact it didn't even notice there was now an apparent bone missing! White couldn't leave his friend to face the enemy alone so he struck it again with his weapon, drawing its attention. "I don't think we can defeat this one Darius. Do you have any ideas of how? Otherwise we might need to run."
White still was wondering about the fortune tellers vision as well. She had said some strange things. And weren't they supposed to meet people here? Could she have been lying after all? White didn't have much time to think about it cause the guard dog struck at him again with it's massive claw. The thing was strong but it wasn't that smart it seemed. White just jumped back again.

Darius felt triumphant when he broke one of the bones. As he looked down at it, he was quite taken aback when the creature continue to move, feeling no pain! Well, duh, he shouldn't have expected it to feel any pain! It was clearly an undead monster. It wasn't alive or it would've felt that. Seeing it trying to snap at him, Darius was forced to back off, leaping away from it as its massive jaws just missed chomping down on him.
As it was turned to him, White took advantage of the situation and removed the broken bone from the thing's back. It was to Darius's surprise as well when the creature still moved around as if a missing bone were nothing to it. Well, this certainly complicated things.
When White next spoke, Darius wasn't really sure what to do except blast the crap out of it. "I can try to use my other abilities...I can try and I don't know...blast it apart?" he stated. Letting light illuminate his weapon, Darius charged at the gigantic bony undead dog.
As he did so, small towers of light erupted from the ground behind him. So, as he was dashing for it, Darius slid directly under it and swung at it. As he did so, he rolled aside to get out from it and hoped that maybe one or two of the towers erupting upward would hit it and take out a few chunks if they were lucky.
"Beware of flying bones!" he called out to White in warning.

White backed off and watched Darius work. His friend was not a foe to be taken lightly. Sadly neither was the enemy. Even as Darius summoned towers of light to destroy the creature, they shone right through it! It did absolutely nothing! White's jaw literally dropped. "You got to be kidding me!"
There was no solution. It was time to leave! "Let's go Darius." White headed for the open door way. However the enemy wasn't about to just let them escape. Suddenly it leaped into the air and sailed over them. Landing in front of the open door way it let out another roar.
It looked like they were not going to be running away from this battle. Well White had only one other idea. White shot electricity down his arms and around his kantana. But this time he wasn't planning on keeping it there. "If this doesn't work I don't know what to do." White pointed his weapon at the enemy and a ball of electric energy shot through the blade in the form of a ball of energy.
White could only hope as it sailed through the air until it finally collided with the enemy. Normally the attack would not only stun the opponent but hit him like a baseball going ninety miles an hour! But the enemy felt no pain! Nor was it even stunned. It looked at them and let out a roar. This time it charged! And it was coming fast.
There was a wall to their back, meaning there was no going backward. "Darius split!" By split he of course meant wait to the last minute then jump to the side. As the enemy closed in White did just that. The enemy looked like it was about to rush into the wall, but as easy as it charged it stopped. It turned towards them, alot closer then White would have thought and slashed its skeleton claw at Darius.
"Darius look out!" The call was coming too late though. If Darius wasn't prepared he would find himself being smashed by pure bone! White expected to hear the sounds of bone cracking but what he heard was a cling.
Looking up, White was surprised to see the mummy inn keeper from before standing above Darius. He had brought up his simply hand to block the mad beast's attack. "I told you guys not to come here." He said. White watched the wrap of cloth slip off to reveal a human skeleton with glowing red eyes in it's eye sockets. It was different to the dog where as there were noting in those eye sockets.

"Oh man!" Darius exclaimed, seeing that his towers of light did absolutely nothing to blast the creature away. If he were to even attempt anything else with light, it might just pass through. Usually, his light abilities consisted of an explosive manner. The simple fact the towers erupting from the ground doing nothing meant they were really up the river without an oar to their boat.
Hearing White's words to retreat, Darius nodded. Following his lead, he was surprised to see the damned thing sail through the air and land in front of the open doorway. "Damn!" he exclaimed. What were they going to do now? Darius was assuming if this kept up that he'd blast a new opening if he had to. Screw fighting this thing!
Darius looked over at White as he suddenly engulfed his katana in electricity again. Just what did he have up his sleeve this time? Watching carefully, Darius prepared for anything. Sending out a blast of electrical energy, White blasted the creature but...like the light towers, it seemed to not do anything! "What's it going to take?!" he exclaimed.
Clearly unhappy, the undead guard dog charged them. As it did so, Darius heard White's words. Split? Knowing not to move too soon, Darius waited until just the right moment before leaping aside. The problem with that was, well, the dog was now aiming for him! Since he had been busy dodging, he hadn't prepared himself in time. Eyes widening as he was turning, Darius's heart leapt as he shut his eyes to prepare himself for a world of pain. Yet...it never came. Slowly, and carefully, Darius opened his eyes.
When he did, he found the inn keeper from before blocking the attack! Darius couldn't help but peer up at him in wonder before the wraps moved to reveal some of what was concealed underneath the bandages. Red eyes were glowing from the sockets! Darius couldn't help but look up at him in...well, understandably surprise. "Y-You-?"

Mr. Thomas let out a roll of his throat. "Yes you! Honestly everyone here told you not to come here." There was alot of history with the guard dog here and Mr. Thomas. In fact this was actually his house. Well it was when he was alive. But that had all changed when he died. It had been abandoned for years and only rehabilitated when the young mistress had taken lodgings here.
She had raised that dog, along with himself, to guard her precious treasures. There was only two things that still had power to control it. One of those of course was Mr. Thomas himself. He noticed the surprise on both the kid he had just saved and the one with the kantana, who stared dumbstruck.
Mr. Thomas let the rest of the mummy wrapping drop so that his skeleton was in full view. It was time to change. One moment Mr. Thomas was a skeleton, the next muscle and flesh grew over the bones. Ah it did feel good to have flesh again. His skin was mostly olive in color with black slick hair and a black short trimmed beard to match. He was quite buff of course and had green eyes.
One thing was that he was absolutely naked. Well he had just dropped the only clothes he had. He couldn't just grow clothes like skin. The guard dog changed demeanor immediately. No longer was it growling and ready to attack. It's jaw dropped in a pant and it almost seemed to smile at Mr. Thomas.
"That's a good boy." He said to the skeleton dog.
----------------
Red was amazed by the transformation. He felt slightly awkward that the skeleton mummy was now naked, but the fact that he went from bones to skin and good looks was amazing. He hadn't expected it. This place was so weird!
White walked over towards them. He still had his kantana resting in his hand if he needed it. "Sorry about that... We shouldn't have just barged in here." White watched the inn keeper pet the large animal as it purred in content. It purred! What kind of dog purred?
White went to touch the dog as well but it turned its head towards White and growled. White withdrew his moving hand back to the side. That's fine, he didn't want to touch the creature anyway. White wondered what Darius was going to say about all of this.

Darius couldn't help but sweatdrop when he was chastised by the inn keeper. "Uheheh! Um...we're sorry?" he apologized awkwardly. What else was he suppose to say? He knew that the two of them shouldn't have come here but then again, Darius and White could just about get into anything if it meant finding anything on what they were looking for. Since White was searching for that committee, which was linked with information about Darius's twin sister, they were pretty much on the same boat. It meant that for a while, they would be traveling buddies.
Since meeting the White haired teenager, Darius had found a new friend in him. It had been a long time since he had made any friends since what happened with his world. He watched as the inn keeper dropped what remained of his bandages and then suddenly changed form.
One minute he was a skeleton and the next, he was a man with flesh. As if recognizing him, the skeleton dog panted, wagging its tail. Was that thing his pet? Darius couldn't help but wonder about it. It seemed like a likely case but why have such a thing contained here? Maybe the inn keeper was hiding something? Then again, what did they even know about him? While the inn keeper was petting his bone dog thing, Darius looked over at where White was when he spoke and attempted to pet the bone dog thing which growled the second White tried to touch it.
Well, after them fighting it, Darius could understand why it would. Then again, they didn't do much damage to it to begin with since the thing was pretty much ready to do damage unto them. Darius didn't think he'd ever dare to pet it. If he ever wanted to pet something, he'd try and find Sirius, his dragon companion. Speaking of the dragon, it had been a while since he last saw him. What was he doing? Was he too helping Darius search maybe? He and Anubis were connected in some way.
Looking back toward the inn keeper, then to White, Darius wondered what to say. "Uh....yeah, we're really sorry, sir. We didn't mean to barge in like that. We just thought we would've come across that keyblade wielder or information on my sister is all." He never mentioned the committee. He and White had only asked about keyblade wielders since according to White, they were connected to them somehow. Plus, maybe that fortune teller White met knew something too.
He spoke to White next. "Maybe we should leave?" he asked him feeling somewhat disappointed. It seemed that girl had lead them a bit onto the trail but not enough.

White was thinking the same thing as Darius. This was probably the inn keeper's mansion. No wonder he didn't want them coming here! But what about the vision! Maybe it would be better if they left. The fortune teller was probably lying anyway. White could see that Darius was thinking the exact same thing.
The inn keeper turned to Darius. "I understand that your looking for information. But you won't find your sister here. Most likely if she was here, she isn't here any longer." White took it that by here, the inn keeper was talking about the world itself.
"We understand that sir. We'll just be leaving then. Sorry about the intrusion." White nodded to Darius indicating he agreed with them leaving. However the door to the mansion suddenly slammed open. The sudden slam caused White to immediately raise his kantana in defense.
"More enemies?!" White asked himself. If it was an enemy, it sure was an odd looking one. A child with short cut hair and emerald green eyes. Dressed in blue shorts and a black shirt, White couldn't tell exactly if it was a boy or a girl. The child was skinny and not even five feet tall.
"Thomas!" The voice was a girl child. If White had to guess maybe twelve or thirteen. White turned to the inn keeper. Was he Thomas? From the look of his expression he was. Mr. Thomas seemed to suddenly realize he was naked and his hand flew down to cover his private parts.
"Mistress Arya!" The inn keeper looked appalled that he was just caught naked, where as before with Darius and White he didn't even seem to notice. "I am a little exposed, would you at least turn around!"
White watched the exchange with interest as the girl's eyes narrowed in annoyance. "This is no time for games Mr. Thomas! It's snowing!"
Mr. Thomas stepped back and behind Darius, who was closer to him then White. He peeked his head over Darius's shoulder. "I understand that child, but you are to young to see a... a...."
The girl called Arya just put her hands on her hips. "Yours is hardly the first.... thing.... I've ever seen."
Mr. Thomas looked absolutely faint at that moment. "Not the.... Oh boy I think I'm going to be sick. Your thirteen Arya! What would your mother say?!"
Arya walked right up to Darius. She looked him up and down only a second before turning to the hiding Mr. Thomas. "Now is not the time to talk about sexual encounters! Snow means that something must have happened to Jack. Which means that your vision is going to come true very soon. We need to find Jack. If we find Jack, we'll find those heroes."
Suddenly White was even more interested. "Heroes?" Could that be the keyblade wielder? Maybe this trip wasn't such a failure after all. If they tagged along with these two maybe they'd finally run into the keyblader and finally get some answers! White had all but forgotten about his friend Darius though, or how uncomfortable he must be with a naked man behind him and caught in the cross road of those two.

Even if they knew what this place contained, Darius wouldn't have come here. His interest wasn't in someone else's treasures or what have you. He was more interested in finding Ivory. The committee must've known where she was, or at least that girl from it did. Which meant if the committee was found, they would surely find something more about Ivory. Since this place didn't appear to contain what they were looking for, leaving looked like a good idea.
Darius was somewhat relieved that White was agreeing to the idea. There really wasn't anymore reason to stick around and they didn't want to bother the inn keeper further. Once they were done uttering their apologies, Darius turned with White to leave. However, with the door slamming open, they were once again forced to remain inside for now.
Carefully, much like White, Darius got into a battle ready stance. When his bright blue eyes fell on a younger looking figure, human, Darius lowered his broad sword and resumed a calm demeanor once more. If he had to fight though, he would be ready but he doubted it. This figure seemed more intent on talking to the inn keeper behind them. At first, it was hard to tell whether it was a young girl or boy. Hearing the voice though, Darius was surprised to hear it was a girl's voice.
Judging by the inn keeper's reaction, he was struggling to conceal himself and Darius felt awkward when the guy used him as a shield from his young friend's eyes. 'This is....rather awkward!' he thought, sweatdropping. He looked back at the girl when she suddenly looked him up and down. 'What's her problem?' he wondered before she addressed the inn keeper again. His name was Mr. Thomas, according to her.
He listened as the girl mentioned something about a Jack character and that snow meant something had happened to him. As she went on about Jack, she stated that if they find him, they would find those heroes. Darius looked over at White and said "Heroes?" in unison with White. Did that mean what they thought it meant? If so, Darius wondered if it would be a good idea to follow them. He soon forgot about the whole thing though realizing he was still stuck between these two. That and the fact a naked man was standing right behind him didn't help much either. 'Will they stop arguing and that guy go find some clothes for crying out loud?!' he thought.

The girl called Arya looked at White and Darius as if they were idiots. "I just said that didn't I. Not that it would matter to you. Let's go Mr. Thomas. Time is wasting!" She didn't even bother waiting for the inn keeper. She just turned about and walked right out the door. "Change already!" She shouted from outside.
Mr. Thomas stepped from behind Darius and suddenly lost all of his skin and muscles. He was a skeleton once again. "Back to this form I guess." And before White could ask him another question he was walking towards the door.
White turned to Darius. "Let's follow them! They'll lead us right to the keyblader." That keyblader had questions that they needed answered! This was the only lead they had. White waited to see if Darius agreed. But he didn't have much time to answer. The skeleton walked right out the door.

Darius openly frowned at the way the girl was acting. She seemed to have that 'greater than thou' attitude but he refrained from snapping at her. She was much younger than they were so her maturity still had yet to grow. Then again, there was White. Still, he tried to not react to her rudeness. Seeing the girl head out, after ordering Mr. Thomas around, he glanced over at White next.
None of them said not to follow them. If they were going to find 'heroes' surely they'd come across that keyblade wielder? If they did, they'd be able to find some information that they wanted. Judging by the look on White's face, he appeared to be thinking along the same lines.
When White next spoke, Darius nodded his head. Before he could answer him though, the skeleton had walked right out of the mansion. "Yeah, let's go...before undead rover here decides to attack us again!" he stated. With that, Darius hurried out the door after Mr. Thomas and the girl, Arya. None of them said that they couldn't follow them so it wasn't like they were doing anything wrong.
Maybe this would be it? Darius certainly hoped so.

Mr. Thomas pretty much ran. Arya was short but she was quick. She walked fairly quickly and knew exactly where she was going. She led them down the way and all the way back to the graveyard. Mr. Thomas was surprised to see that it was snowing. And the closer they got to Halloween town the worst the falling snow was.
When they reached the graveyard, Mr. Thomas was shocked to see that it was covered in snow. He couldn't even see the gravestones anymore. "What could be causing this?" He asked more to himself then anyone else.
Arya looked up. She pointed to the ice heartless that had gathered there. They weren't there before. They were the same enemies that the hooded figure had sent after White and Darius, but neither Mr. Thomas nor Arya knew that.
Grabbing Mr. Thomas's hand she walked through the graveyard. "Shouldn't we take care of those?" Mr. Thomas asked her.
Mistress Arya didn't stop but said, "We don't have time. I figure Jack is where it's snowing hardest." Mr. Thomas gave her a "oh?". Arya said, "Town Square."
---------------------------
White had just arrived at the graveyard with Darius right behind. He noticed the heartless almost immediately. Didn't they look familiar! But there was no time to fight them. Mr. Thomas was already walking through the graveyard and wasn't stopping. The snow was getting thicker too and was making it even harder to see.
"Be aware of enemies in the graveyard. We don't have time to fight them. Let's go Darius."

Getting outside, Darius could see the retreating back of Mr. Thomas in the distance. If they didn't move it, they would easily get left behind. Quickening his pace, Darius hoped they wouldn't lose track of them. Even as he went, he noticed the snowflakes falling from the sky above. Was snow an anomaly here? From the way Arya talked, it sounded a lot like it. Was this place constantly Halloween? Darius wouldn't doubt that for a second.
As they went, the snow falling from the sky gradually got harder and the ground under their feet became covered with snow. The further they went, the deeper the snow became and the harder it was to see through the falling snow flakes.
By the time the two of them caught up to them, the skeleton man and Arya had stopped in the midst of the graveyard. Squinting at where Arya was pointing, Darius spotted what looked like Heartless. It was difficult to really see them from where they were though. White lead the way further into the graveyard.
As he did so, they could now see them more clearly. They were just like the Heartless from before the last time they had been here! Hearing what White had to say, he nodded. "Yeah, I don't feel much like fighting those things again." Seeing White take off, Darius followed his lead closely. As they went, he kept a careful eye out for enemies. They didn't have time to fight them but it was good to look ahead and avoid any that came near where they were heading.

Keeping track of the skeleton was almost impossible. Given that he was pure white and seemed to blend in with the snow. Thankfully there was no strong wind, but as he walked through the graveyard the snow started dropping faster and faster.
White tried to keep track of the heartless but he lost them while keeping his eyes on the skeleton and the girl. Where was all this snow coming from? It seemed to take too long before they came to the dog house. It was the only place free of the snow. White went in first, having to push through some snow to get out on the other side.
Coming to a stand he waited for Darius. The wind had picked up now and White just caught sight of the inn keeper walking out of the area and into the main square. The snow there was even worse! Was that the destination?
"Come on Darius! I think were nearly there." He said.

Arya had to hold her hand up to her face to block the falling snow from clouding her vision. Dressed only in shorts her legs shivered from the cold. She had been on her way to find Thomas when the snow had started. She only had a simple fire spell to keep her blood running and some sort heat in her body.
She hadn't bothered with bringing any of her guardians. She didn't think she would need them. But she did have Mr. Thomas. And he had his own bag of tricks. She just hoped that this was really it. They had waited for six months now for the heroes. Mr. Thomas's visions were always recorded in her notebook, but that was back at the inn too.
Coming to the center square she wasn't surprised to find it filled with snow. She was surprised to see a large block of ice in the center of the square. And sure enough one Jack Skelington was frozen inside. It was like he was some sort of memorial. She felt sorry to see the guardian of this world in that state. He was trapped in a look of pain.
Well they were here! Where were the heroes? Arya took a step forward towards Jack. They were supposed to come any time now and save the day!
"What could have caused this?" Mr. Thomas asked her over the rushing snow.
A single hooded figure stepped out from behind the frozen Jack. He was covered head to toe in a hooded cloak. Raising his arm revealed a hand as white as snow. With a flick of it the snow suddenly stopped rushing and slowed to a steady fall. His other arm rose and he pulled back the hood of his cloak to reveal a man with snow white skin, blue spiked hair, and deep gray eyes.
