There were many things Smiles could have done in response to that attack. One he was preparing to do that moment. He did not dodge, instead letting the enemy come rushing in. He was planning on shooting a different kind of bullet. One that he was counting on his enemy to block with the sword. It would send a pulse of electricity down the blade and at Darius, giving him quite a shock.
However as he waited, it seemed something else was going to get in his way. Smiles had raised his gun and found that a man half horse half man had leaped in front of him. There was a loud grunt as the man horse used the pole of the spear in his hand to block the enemy. In attempt to make him back off, the man horse thrust out a powerful arm.
"Halt! Who is responsible for the destruction of this island?!" The centaur demanded.
--------------------------
White met his opponent faster then he thought. However the opponent was skill in more then just magic. Each time he slashed, the mage's staff seemed to be there to block it. White gave the enemy no room to go on the offense, attacking again and again, cut after cut. But he was getting no where.
As White readied another attack, he found himself thrown back when the mage pounded the hilt of his staff into the ground. It sent a wave of energy that whipped him off his feet and back a few feet as well. White was just getting off the ground, a bit stunned to say the least, when he found a fireball rushing right after him.
There was no getting around this one, White could only watch as the fire closed the last few feet. Shutting his eyes in a brief moment of defeat, it was then that a keyblade curved around him like a boomerang. It collided with the fireball and sent it harmlessly aside before returning to the hands of its owner.
Opening his eyes, surprised that he wasn't a piece of toast, White found a young girl running up next to him. "You alright! I'm here to help!" She told him. White had seen the weapon she held before. It was the same weapon that his master had used. The heroes had arrived.

Darius did think it fishy that Smiles didn't appear to be dodging. Was he waiting for the last possible moment before leaping backward? Darius couldn't exactly pull out of the charge right now, light pillars were erupting out right behind him, following him as he went. Maybe Smiles really was going to dodge the attack? Darius didn't think he had the upper hand at that moment since when he went to charge Smiles, Smiles was looking right at him! Was he giving him a free shot? Darius highly doubted that.
Before Darius could find out exactly what Smiles was up to and before Smiles could show him, something else happened that neither had put into the equation. Whatever that movement from before had been, Darius now understood what it was now. Blinking, Darius wasn't really sure what he was seeing in between himself and Smiles. Was it a man or was it a horse? Well, it certainly looked as though it were a cross between them. Upper body was all human but below, it was horse. It only just occurred to Darius that he was looking at a mythical being in the flesh!
"H-Huh?" Darius exclaimed in surprise. The thing was telling them to halt and demanding whom was responsible for the damage to this world. Darius gave the creature a pretty darn flat look. Hadn't that been obvious? What light user would be wreaking havoc in a world like this one? Then again, he guessed it was because he and Smiles had been fighting that it had been hard to tell.
"If you don't mind, I'm fighting that guy!" Darius indicated Smiles to the centaur. "They've been burning this place down, attacking people when I got here with my friend with the white hair!" he retorted. It was hard for Darius to not get angry but with this thing in the way, it was keeping him from fighting Smiles. Even if he might lose, Darius wanted to fight Smiles out of anger, which probably wasn't the brightest idea considering how much more skilled Smiles was in comparison.
"Who're you and why did you stop us?!" he practically demanded. Darius didn't like this thing interfering. He was angry and not really in his right mind since his thoughts were all jumbled up. Darius was more like to snap at just about anyone with all the things he had just witnessed today. It was hard to ignore the fact what his sister had just become. It was hard for him to accept it. On top of it, what Smiles said alarmed him and he was more desperate to get t him for saying such a thing about Ivory.
At least the guy had enough to keep him from killing them, keeping his promise to Ivory but how long would that even last for? How long until this guy no longer found Ivory interesting? That's what bothered him the most. Smiles would kill her once she did and there was no telling when that would happen. That's why Darius wanted to fight Smiles. He wanted to get through him, hopefully finding more information about the committee and thus, finding Ivory and bringing her back. That was kind of impossible to do though with this guy...thing in the way though. Even now, Darius craned his neck to glare over at Smiles and seemed to want to go around this mythical creature to get at Smiles.
Despite what Darius said, this could just as easily turn into a "he said, you said, they said, she said" game. After all, Smiles could lie and say that Darius and White were actually the culprits here and turn this into an even bigger mess depending on whom this centaur believed.

Smiles said nothing to the half man half horse. This was an interesting development, and he was keen to simply stand by and watch it for now. The centaur turned to Smiles and eyed him up and down. Smiles just gave him his casual smile. He wasn't going to lie to the centaur. He was the "bad guy" in this situation.
The centaur turned to Darius. "I am Joffery, Protector of this Realm. I come with Lady Silvia to deal the hand of judgement on those who would harm others. What is your purpose sir? Why do you burn these innocents?" The question was to Smiles.
Smiles simply shrugged. "Some would call them innocents. Others might call them evil. I am just doing what I was instructed to do. Cause a little mayhem. Gain the attention of those who call themselves heroes and keep them busy." While some might question the truth of Smiles words, what he was saying was completely true. He had no reason to lie after all.
However it was hard to tell the truth in those words with the smile on his lips. Joffery, the centaur, back peddled over to Darius. He stood a good couple feet taller then the youth and the spear he held in his hand had to be the same size as Darius. "I am sorry for intruding. But I had to make sure you were an ally. May I aid you in your fight sir?"
-------------------------
White couldn't help but smile. There was another! A person who could maybe give him some answers. White stood up and nodded. "Thanks. This guy is a bit of a pain." The girl nodded, but her attention was solely on the enemy. White glanced over to him as well and for once he seemed to just stand there. As if he was waiting for them to make the first move.
"Sir what can you tell me about what happened here? Who is this man? Why is he attacking the island?" She asked him.
White really didn't have those answers. "I don't really know. My friend and I arrived here during the middle of the attack in search of someone. We split up."
The girl nodded once more. "Well we mine as well give this man a but whooping!" White was the one to nod this time. As the two of them charged the mage suddenly let out a screech as it began to run towards them. White recognized that screech. It was the same the creature that they encountered on Halloween Town had when it died.

Darius looked up at the centaur, his peripheral vision on Smiles all the while. Smiles seemed content to peer back up at the centaur. It looked as if he had suddenly found interest in the centaur too. Darius listened as the centaur introduced himself as Joffrey, protector of this realm. Darius couldn't help but blink up at him. So, there had been warriors here to protect this place? 'About time they showed up! I was under the impression that White and I had to deal with this ourselves!' he thought.
The last things the centaur said, Darius knew hadn't been directed at him. It was a lucky thing Smiles didn't try to lie and mess things up more. If he did, this could've probably got more confusing to those outside of their battle. At least now Darius didn't have to fight another foe.
Darius allowed his gaze to shift onto Smiles when he spoke. According to Smiles, they had been ordered to cause a little mayhem. "You call this a little?!" Darius exclaimed. Whether or not Smiles was being truthful was another thing entirely. He had mentioned he'd never kill White and Darius, today at least, to Ivory. So far, he hadn't tried any shots at Darius's face when he probably could have judging by the way his gun worked.
Joffrey back peddled away from Smiles and stood next to Darius. The size of his spear had to be as long as Darius was tall. The centaur stell well over two feet taller than Darius. He blinked over at Joffrey as he apologized for the interruption and that he was just trying to see who was considered an ally here. Taking his injuries into account, Darius didn't think he'd be able to take on Smiles much longer since the wounds stung so much. Smiles had a lot of skill and was slippery as ever.
"Apology accepted, sorry for snapping. You may as long as we don't accidentally collide or anything!" he answered him. Darius could really do without worrying about a stab from a long spear.

White, with the keyblade warrior at his side, met the charging mage in the middle. He attacked with a new vigor of strength, slamming his staff in arc towards White's head. Instead of blocking the attack, he ducked underneath. Meanwhile the girl came around the mage's side and attacked to the right. The result was the mage was driven off his feet and pummeled a few feet away.
Not wanting to relent on the attack, White charged right after him. He came upon him with a slash downward. The mage had barley any time to block the attack. That was one thing about mages. They were magic users primarily. This meant they relied heavily on attacking from afar. White was determined to not let that happen!
Apparently the girl had the same idea. The mage had flipped backward to get away from White, but only to find himself facing the keyblade warrior. She was fast for someone so young. Her purple keyblade struck time and time again, leaving the only way for the mage to dodge was to back peddle once more.
But White had anticipated this. He had rushed past the two of them fighting. As the mage back peddled White came from behind and ripped open his back. The sound of the blade running through flesh was followed by a screech. Together they had felled their opponent.
White watched the mage fall to the ground, a pool of blood forming by the body. However some instinct told White not to turn away. At least not yet. The girl keyblader though seemed relieved that the battle was finished. She was beginning to walk over to him when the creature burst from the enemy's back. There was no doubt that it was the same creature that they had found in Halloween Town.
Not hesitating, White slashed the enemy in half. A screech followed as the enemy died and dissolved into a puff of black smoke.
------------------------
Smiles continued to listen to the chat between the two. The centaur gave a small laugh at the teen's comments about them colliding. "Do not worry little one. I am a centaur! We are masters of land and combat. I will stay make sure 'Betsy' does not collide with you." He said, speaking of the spear in his hands.
"So he names his weapons... Interesting."[/i] Smiles thought to himself. He had been to many places before, but never had he seen a centaur. They were mystical creatures right out of fables. Well, Smiles was interested to see if they also bleed the same color as humans did. He was sure he would find out.
The centaur turned towards Smiles. "Let us not leave our enemy waiting. He has been kind enough for a small chat, but I believe we should show him what heroes do!" And with that the centaur charged at a gallop.
Being half horse, he was very quick. Faster then the speed of Darius's wings. But even so, Smiles was not afraid. Pistol raised he let fire some rounds, making the centaur use his spear and fast hands to deflect the energy bullets. At the same time his hand thrust out two new portals. One behind him, and the other further back.
As the centaur closed the distance, Smiles did something Darius might not expect. The spear came across in a swooping arc. Smiles ducked underneath it and rolled past the enemy. As he came up, he flipped backwards and sent both of his feet into the chest of the centaur. This didn't do to much damage, but he did connect.
The result was to drive the enemy back and as he did, Joffery fell into the portal and out the other end, a good ways down. Expecting another attack from Darius, Smiles rolled backwards out of any frontal, arc, or diagonal attack and thrust his hand outward as he came to a stand. This sent a new portal to the left. Having not once stopped, Smiles walked back into a portal and out of the new one created. If there was one thing that was clear about Smiles, when it came to ability both physical and mental, he was quite skilled.

Darius couldn't help but wonder if his hearing had been finicky. Had he just heard Joffrey call the spear "Betsy"? If so, that was actually pretty interesting. Darius had never once considered to name his broadsword. Maybe he should try doing that at some point? It would be interesting to have a weapon with a name. It made the bond between the warrior and their weapon more intimate. "That would be a great relief!" he answered Joffrey. Yes, Darius didn't want a spear as long as he was tall stabbing into him. Granted, his armor would protect him for the most part but may the entities above help him if it were to ever hit a weak point. The last thing he needed was to end up skewered when he was trying to save his sister and make her repent for the things she had done.
Now, it was time to face Smiles. All the time, Smiles had actually been patient enough to hold back and even respond to questions. If Darius hadn't heard the line about his sister potentially getting killed if she was no longer interesting, Darius might've mistook him for not being as evil as he seemed. However, Smiles was an enemy. Right now, he appeared to be milder only because of the promise he had made to Ivory. If he hadn't, Darius had a nasty feeling White and himself might not come back out of this. Sure, there was this centaur and another warrior he hadn't noticed yet but by the time they reached them Smiles would've probably made short work of them.
Darius watched as, after the centaur spoke, charged Smiles. Despite his pain, Darius was motivated to continue with the battle. Running, albeit slower than previously, Darius made a lunge for Smiles but Smiles had tricked them again. Where the centaur had almost got him, Smiles had sent the creature through a portal and away from where he was. The guy was slippery as hell! Never before had Darius been in such a frustrating fight.
Smiles evaded Darius's own attack by rolling away from him and then stepping back into a portal. Not once had the guy even stopped for a short breather! Whoever he was, Darius could tell he'd need a lot of training if he hoped to fight someone like him. If Ivory hadn't been around, Darius had a nasty feeling he'd try to kill them.
Noting that Smiles was in another spot, Darius tried to think of what to do in this situation. Just brawn alone wasn't going to help him much. 'There's got to be some way to hit the guy!' he thought. From earlier, he remembered that Smiles could only simultaneously keep a total of two portals up. Otherwise, when one was used, he'd have to create another one since he could only have two up at a time. At least, that's what he thought. If they were able to usher him into one and he were to come out on the other side, maybe they would get lucky enough to strike him?
Joffrey and Darius were going to have to work together. Their first attempt had failed but if one of them could anticipate next where Smiles would head to, they were probably on a better standing. Wary, Darius held his blade carefully. Smiles would be looking to either retaliate or wait for them to charge him again. Joffrey would probably charge since he was the swifter of the two. Once the centuar did, Darius planned on lingering a little until he was sure where next Smiles would be taking off to.

They had done it! They had finished the enemy off. Though the fact that the strange creature had appeared sent a series of questions in White's mind. Was the Assassination of the Keyblade Committee and these strange creatures somehow linked?
Glancing over at his new ally, White figured he'd bring that subject up to Darius later. "Thank you so much for your help. I have some questions I'd like to ask you, but there is still one more enemy. My friend is facing him and it would be a great help if you could help us defeat him."
The girl responded, "Of course. Joffery had headed over there when we first arrived, but we should go and join them. Joffery is a strong person, he wouldn't be defeated easily. Let's go though."
Nodding, White followed along side the girl as they broke into a run towards the burning homes. "I never got your name before. Mine's White."
The girl gave him a smile. "You can call me Lady Silvia."
----------------------------
Joffery had just rejoined Darius when Smiles let fly a charge of bullets towards them. As he did this, Joffery stepped in front of Darius and twirled his spear at such a speed that the bullets deflected off. But it was all he could do to deflect the onslaught of bullets. Smiles did not give him an opportunity to move, continuing his bombardment while he himself stepped to the right.
Keeping an eye out for any play that Darius might make, Smiles shot out another ray of energy from his hand, which created a portal to the left of the two. Being still near enough to his own portal, Smiles dropped the onslaught of bullets and made a dash for the other portal. He figured two things at this moment. By now the enemy was frustrated. They knew his jumping from one place to another made it very hard to land a hit on him.
However also by now they must know at least the general tactics of how his portals worked. What they did not know though was that anyone or anything could travel through those portals. So when Joffery charged Smiles, the big centaur must have thought that Darius would head over to the other portal. Smiles however anticipated this and shot three bullets in quick succession on an angle into the portal.
He had angled it just the way he had hoped so that the bullets would hit Darius. That is if he approached the portal. Smiles didn't have time to watch. The enemy had rushed him, and had anticipated his jumping to the portal. So when the spear came down at him, Smiles dodged just enough so that he could push his gun against the side of the spear and redirect its thrust.
This caused the enemy to not only lose the weapon, but to send it flying into the open portal at a rushing speed. Seeking to capsize on the disarmed opponent, Smiles quickly raised his gun and let three bullets fly through Joffery's abdomen.

A new barrage of bullets was let loose from Smiles' gun. If it hadn't been for Joffrey, twirling his spear about so swiftly, Darius would've suffered more pain. "Thanks!" he called to the centaur. While Joffrey appeared to be unable to move, Darius was looking for a way to get at Smiles in the meantime. Smiles seemed intent on just firing rapidly at Joffrey.
As he weaved about, thinking of charging, Smiles suddenly tore open a portal. Once he did that, he stepped back into that one. Joffrey charged for the previous portal. Darius took that as the initiative to head for the other one.
When he did so, Darius found himself getting hit with sudden energy bullets. The pain was so abrupt, it made him stumble backward. "Argh! Y-You-!" he growled. The sudden pain had made him hurt so much that he had fallen onto his butt. Wincing, gritting his teeth, Darius looked to where the centaur had charged. Smiles was there and he had fired upon the centaur! Darius wasn't sure how a centaur could get gravely wounded but he was pretty sure seeing energy bullets going through someone wasn't a good sign.
Forcing himself upward, gritting his teeth in pain, Darius held his broadsword at the ready. "JOFFREY!" he shouted. Rushing over, Darius wasn't even sure what he was going to accomplish at this point. He was hurting all over and he wasn't able to move really fast because of it. He could try and fly at Smiles but he'd need to guess where Smiles would escape to next before he did.
Leaping into the air, Darius dived right for him.

Smiles watched the large centaur take some steps back before finally his kneecaps buckled. Even though he had a tough chest as a centaur, blood leaked from small holes inside his body. His face was locked in shock, and Smiles did nothing but smile.
He finally had time to glance over at a wounded Darius as he rushed into a full frontal charge at Smiles. Did his enemies never learn. Charges didn't work against him. Smiles watched him take flight and dive right towards him. The arc with which he decent and the approximate length of his broadsword gave him a two second window to move back at the right time to dodge the attack.
However there was a much easier way to dodge this attack. As Darius dived in a frontal assault, Smiles rolled forward as Darius landed towards the ground. Normally Smiles was custom to sprinting off his feet into a back flip. However to play it safe this time, Smiles instead leaped forward a good five feet while doing a flip in the air to turn himself facing Darius.
Would the teen try and attack again? Smiles had his gun to the side, but he was ready at any second to make another attack. "Joffery!" A voice shouted from behind him. Smiles was smart enough to move at that moment. One hand shot a portal to his left a good fifteen feet away. Sending a portal below his feet, Smiles fell through it.
Not a moment too soon as a keyblade suddenly twirled in the air part the area where Smiles had been standing. Smiles watched the keyblade return to the hand of a charging young girl and the white haired teen at his side. Which Smiles figured, meant that the mage had failed. He hadn't really trusted the strange creature to begin with.
The two ran over to Darius and the centaur and all at once were trying to help them up. The girl was the first to turn away from the group. "No one gets away with hurting my friend and gets away with it." She threatened.
Smiles just did what he always did. He smiled. "I think that is exactly what is going to happen."

Darius was enraged. Joffery had been an excellent warrior and for the centaur to suffer such wounds, it bothered Darius. Was the centaur going to die? Having seen Joffrey's knees buckle, his expression full of shock before Darius charged Smiles, one could only guess. He hoped that wouldn't be the case. If Smiles would just leave, Darius might be able to help heal the centaur. It's the least he could do with his light abilities. He could heal someone, at least that's what he was thinking.
His attention all centered upon Smiles and hurting him for what he just did, Darius really didn't take much thought into his next attack. Instead of landing a hit, the good he did was just cause Smiles to take a forward tumble to avoid an airborne Darius.
Having just landed, Darius whirled about, glaring at Smiles with gritted teeth. There was pain and frustration written all over his face right now. If this kept up, he wouldn't be able to move much anymore. His legs and sides hurt a great deal where he had been shot. The two seemed to face off for a short moment. Smiles had held his gun to the side but was making no move to attack. He looked as if he were taunting Darius into charging him again. His eyes spoke of a veteran fighter. The eyes of someone that could easily have killed Darius but hadn't because of the promise he had made to Ivory. After saying such a thing about Ivory, how could this guy still stick to a promise he made to her? Just to keep her happy and oblivious to what he'd do to her if he ever found her boring one day?
Darius would have forced himself then to make another move but a voice from behind Smiles tore their attention away from one another. Glancing to the owner of the voice, Darius found White and some young girl headed their way. Judging by the voice of the girl, she knew Joffery and was dismayed by his condition. Due to the strength waning in his legs from all the pain, Darius's legs finally buckled. Plopping on the ground, Darius couldn't force himself up again without the help of someone else.
Brought back to his feet, with the aid of White or had it been the girl? Darius was in too much pain to really care right now. He could hear the girl speaking to Smiles in a threatening manner and was certain he had seen her using a weapon in the shape of a key. Was that one of the legendary keyblade warriors?
"Wh-White! Help me make it over to Joffery, please! I...I think I can heal him...if his wound's not mortal." Where he was injured, Darius would rather heal someone else first that needed it more.

White was shocked to see how hurt Darius really was. From the distance he could tell things were desperate, but he hadn't realized how desperate they really were. The centaur creature was extremely hurt. Darius himself was pretty bad as well. White was surprised to hear him beg to be brought over towards Joffery to heal him.
"Darius you can't even walk. Your in terrible condition. If you heal yourself first you'll have more energy to heal Lady Silvia's friend."
It was true though. White was more worried about his friend then the other man. White would heal Darius if he could, but he had no healing abilities. All he could do was charge his weapon with electricity. White though understood that Darius wanted to get over to the centaur. He helped his friend over to the heavy breathing centaur.
Lady Silvia had her hands extended and White noticed a green light escaping from them. However it had no effect on the half man half horse. "Cure magic doesn't work on my bullets." Both White and Lady Silvia's heads turned towards Smiles. He wore that same smile as before.
White stood up, anger pulsing through his veins. He tried to combat it but it was so hard. White's face began turning red with anger and his hands were physically shaking as all the anger he held inside began to escape. And then he couldn't hold it in any longer. White let out a shout of anger as a white lightning bolt suddenly traveled through the sky and struck White.
Electricity pulsed around White as the lightning bolt traveled back through the sky. White himself had gone through a transformation. His eyes were shining yellow and even though he was surrounded in an aura of electricity, one could see the electric sparks in his hair and traveling across his skin.
White suddenly took off as he charged towards the smiling man. He traveled at the same speed that the lightning bolt had traveled down from the sky, creating a line of electricity as he shot towards Smiles.

Darius didn't care what White was saying. Sure, he hurt but he'd rather use the energy from his armor to heal someone that needed it much more than he did. He just had pain all over his limbs where the bullets had shot into them. It wasn't like he was in grave danger, it's just that he couldn't get up and walk for now. The bullets hurt him so much that it was pure agony to stand on his own and put strain on the muscles that Smiles had shot.
If he tried, he wouldn't be able to walk to where Joffery was with his wounds. "If I do that, White, it might be too late. When I heal, I can only do it once and wait a bit before I can again! I'd rather use it on someone that needs it more than I do!" he replied. Darius wouldn't be able to stand it if he couldn't help Joffery for helping him earlier.
White seemed to finally understand that and had eventually caved in. Helping Darius, which was painful even with White's support, Darius hoped that he could help Joffery. Unfortunately, Lady Silvia had beat him to the punch. A green light had enveloped Joffery but it had no effect on the centaur. "What the-?" Darius exclaimed. Having been set down near the centaur, thanks to White, Darius looked over when Smiles spoke. The reason why the ability didn't work was because the injuries his bullets made couldn't be healed by that means.
It angered Darius but all he could do was sit on the ground and glare over at Smiles. White was angered greatly by it. In fact, with a flash of lightning, all of a sudden White went right for Smiles! "Holy-! How the hell?!" Darius exclaimed. In the blink of an eye, White was nearly on Smiles! Electricity seemed to be just radiating off of White.

Smiles found his eyes opening even wider as the teen shot out of it. There was genuine surprise, but no worry. In fact if anything his smile just got wider. This boy was capable of more then he had thought. How interesting....
As the teen shot towards him, Smiles pivoted and brought his gun around. At the speed White was going, there would be no deflecting that kind of attack and force. Smiles had to rely on dodging. His gun was brought to face behind him because there was no way he could land a hit in time while facing him. However given his speed, it would make it harder to slow.
Firing his gun, Smiles shot a very different kind of bullet towards his enemy. When it entered the electric aura around him, the electricity began to grow faint blue as ice traveled through it. It was like watching a flower bloom as the ice traveled slowly through the aura and froze it. Another thing that Smiles had not expected. The electricity around him froze him in place.
It wouldn't hold him for long, but it was enough time for Smiles to act. It was about time that he left. "Well this has been entertaining. But I have to get back to Ivory. She will be worried about me." Smiles opened a portal once more and stepped through it and out of Destiny Islands.

Whatever White had just done, there had been a split second of what seemed to be...a twisted look of surprise on Smiles. Then again, it wasn't easy to tell what the guy was thinking. If anything, his eyes and smile just got wider. Maybe he had become more crazed? Whatever the case, White really seemed to have become something. Darius couldn't really see him, White was moving so fast!
Smiles could only react like anyone would to someone of that speed coming right for them. It all happened so fast, Darius was certain that if he blinked, he would have missed it all. Raising his gun swiftly, Smiles fired at White. Darius, clutching at an armored arm, rose a bit in response as he looked at what was happening to White.
"What are you doing to him?!" he demanded. It looked as if he had just frozen White in midair! Was he alright? Darius was guessing he had to be. Darius was alive, after all. It looked as if Smiles had kept his promise to Ivory. The fact he had was strange. He had so casually stated that he would've killed Ivory had she become boring and yet he was practically doing next to everything for her. This guy just made no sense!
White with his electricity just seemed to stop as if time had stopped. The only problem was he was encased in ice. Just how had Smiles done that? Well, he had learned something new from his encounter with this strange, always smiling wide eyed man. "H-How dare!" he made to say, trying to get up but failing miserably. Smiles seemed to pay him no mind. Instead, he tore open a new portal.
Darius couldn't help but look back at Smiles with disgust. Ivory be worried about him? It was just too difficult for Darius to absorb everything. If he hadn't gotten into a fight, his mind might've just overworked itself and he might've gone insane or something. There was no way, even though he tried to get up to stop Smiles, for him to even hope to reach Smiles in time. The guy entered one of his portals for a final time and left them all behind on Destiny Islands. "Damn it!" Darius cursed.
The worlds were just too cruel. No, fate was just too cruel. What had happened to the Ivory he used to know? Why did she resent him so much instead of running to him, happiness written all over her face when they reunited. Darius felt like he had been betrayed and he had been stabbed in the heart by the hurtful things she had said and what Smiles had said. True, he wasn't innocent but it wasn't true that he hadn't tried finding her. He had been delayed but that didn't mean he didn't care about her. How could she turn out like this? He could only think that Smiles had a lot to do with it. Smiles claimed they were friends but it seemed like a twisted hint of there being more to it than just friendship. Possessiveness is what he had felt from it all. Smiles would not let Ivory go even if she wanted to.
Staggering, all of his will power alone being what made him force himself to his feet and move onward, Darius winced the entire way to White's side. By that time, the ice that had frozen him into place was thawing. Electricity was surging and reverberating off and around White in his ice cage. "This is not over!" he said aloud, glancing to where Lady Silvia and Joffery were. Would the centaur live? He hoped in his heart that he would but Darius couldn't help but feeling it might not be the case.
'I shouldn't have let him join in the fight. I should've just kept it as Smiles and I. Maybe no one else would have gotten hurt over this.'he thought.

Just as the ice had traveled around White like a flower, so too did the ice travel out. It began to peel away like the petals of a dying flower as it finally withered away. When the ice finally gave away, the electricity that was built up in White went away too.
Falling to the ground, White found himself in a daze, and not too sure about what happened either. He had a faint memory of something striking him. And it had hurt alot. After that he really didn't remember much. Glancing right and left, White didn't see the smiling man anymore. However he did see a group of people. That was right! The centaur!
Picking himself up, though he felt drained, he made his way over to them. He could see there faces. What was wrong? Couldn't they heal him? The centaur was out cold, but his breathing was getting slower and slower. Lady Silvia sat kneeling by his side in tears. "What's wrong? Can't you heal him?" He asked.
Lady Silvia only shook her head. White searched Darius's face but he saw only sorrow. What could he do? He didn't have healing abilities. Glancing at the bleeding wounds, White was frustrated. He was worthless. He couldn't even heal! How did he expect to be of any challenge to this organization.
White hadn't noticed that he had his kantana in his hand. He had grabbed it in anger and frustration. Lady Silvia had just noticed as well because she eyed him cautiously. Suddenly a thought came to him. Not really sure how well this was going to work, White turned the blade towards the ground and pointed the hilt towards the centaur's chest. Electricity pulsed around the hilt, but it did not travel.
Instead it created a small swirl as one by one the energy bullets that had been discharged into the centaur were absorbed into the electric flow and into the hilt. The impact of the energies being absorbed drove White off his feet and onto his but. He probably had a bruise but he wasn't too worried about that. "Darius try the healing now!"

Darius could do nothing but look between Silvia, Joffery and the now frozen White. At least White wasn't dying but it sucked for him. They'd have to wait to see how long the bullets kept him frozen for. Everything that happened in this world couldn't have gotten any more worse. Well, White and he could have been killed but the fact how everything went was still pretty terrible. Darius just stayed where he was, unable to force himself up onto his feet. He had stopped trying and just sat there.
That monster was with his twin sister. What he had done to turn Ivory against him, Darius wasn't sure. It really looked as though he hadn't done anything but befriended her only to get close to her. He had changed her. Ivory, if things had been different, might've come running back. Instead, she had left upon Smiles' urging. He wasn't sure what to make of this change in Ivory but he knew it cut him deeply. She had killed people!
'Ivory...how could you?' he thought sadly. As Darius was preoccupied with his troubling thoughts, White began to finally thaw from his icy time prison. If Darius were to look upon it, he would be reminded of a deteriorating flower on fast forward. As soon as the ice had gone away, so had White's electricity.
Darius glanced up when White spoke. He had almost leapt out of his skin with surprise at that very moment. His gaze turned to where Joffery was. "If Silvia can't heal him, I can't!" Darius said, looking crestfallen. He really wished to help the centaur in return for his aid in battle. If he hadn't allowed him to fight, Joffery may not be so wounded.
As if thinking of something they couldn't, White held out his katana. Some kind of energy was whirling about the blade. The energy was so intense,it sucked out the bullets! "How-?!" Darius exclaimed. The bullets were now attached to White's katana! The effort though had sent White flying backward. "WHITE!" Darius shouted. He was about to try and get up again but White was already back on his feet. Seeing that he was alright, Darius sighed to himself and settled back onto his rump.
Hearing what White said next, Darius blinked as he furrowed a brow in confusion as he looked to the centaur. Wait, if the bullets had been sucked out then...that meant the effect for healing might be gone! They would be able to heal him! "Right!" he exclaimed as he reached out a hand. "My apologies but I have to touch you in order to perform this." From where he was sitting, it didn't take much effort to reach out and touch Joffery's arm.
As he did so, a sudden white and warm light radiated off of Joffery. If the effects of the bullets being removed from Joffery worked, then the centaur would be healed. If not, then this would be depressing. Darius hoped it would work though.

Together two might accomplish what one alone could not. White had scotched over to them in just enough time to see Darius attempt to heal the centaur. Watching, White watched his healing magic settle into the chest of the centaur. The holed tissue began to repair itself, and White found himself smiling and sighing in relief.
The magic that Darius had used settled at last and the centaur's chest was once again breathing at a normal rate. Glancing over at Lady Silvia, White noticed that her eyes were on him like a mama chicken on her baby birds. When the centaur's eyes opened, Lady Silvia leaped ontop of the centaur. She wrapped her arms around him in an embrace and hugged him tight.
"Don't you ever do that again! I thought I lost you." She said in-between tears and sniffles.
The centaur let out an omph when the girl had landed on top of him, but for the most part he was smiling. "Aye, Aye. I won't. Now get off me my lady. This is un-lady like." Lady Silvia got off the centaur and turned to Darius. "Let me heal you. You saved my knight."
She held her hand out, and her butterfly looking keyblade appeared in her hand once more. She rested it on the shoulder of Darius, which caused green sparks to travel from it onto Darius. It was the healing magic known as cure, an ability White had watched his master use time and time again.
"I have met your friend Sir White. But he has not informed me of your name, good sir." She said to Darius once the magic had settled.

Darius felt a great weight lift off his heart when he saw that his healing ability was working finally. If White hadn't done what he had, the centaur could've died. As the wounds sealed themselves, after the ability had been used, the centaur's breathing returned to normal. Darius sighed in relief as he watched Joffery stir. When he did, Lady Silvia practically dived onto him in happiness that her friend was alive. Much like the rest of them, she had thought he was going to die.
Bringing his gaze back over to White, he nodded at him to show his approval of White's thinking. He hadn't even thought of it and it was miraculous that White even had the means of removing them when he did. It was a very lucky situation, if there had been any luck in this whole ordeal. Still, Darius wasn't really in the right mind to talk all that much. He had dealt with a lot. His mind was having a rough time letting it all sink in.
When Lady Silvia turned to him, Darius barely registered that she was looking at him. It wasn't until she spoke when he snapped out of his mental turmoil. Blinking, he heard her words. She was going to heal him for helping save her knight. Understanding, Darius nodded his head. "Alright, thanks."
Darius remained still as Lady Silvia cast a light upon him that was green, that of the curative magic type. As it engulfed him, Darius had a sudden, warm feeling. All the pain he had been feeling was lifted and went away. Looking down, Darius saw that his wounds were also gone. Blinking, Darius extended an arm and swiveled it about. He could move it freely without any pain at all and his wounds were healed! It made him feel rejuvenated, even.
Glancing back up at Lady Silvia when she spoke. The magic had settled and she was wondering what his name was. "Thank you, my name's Darius. Darius Quentin." He held out a hand to shake her's. "Nice to meet you...?" he trailed off not sure how else to address her until she gave a name. He thought he had heard one earlier but he couldn't be sure. His mind had been all over the place during the fight.

White watched the exchange between Lady Silvia and Darius. "Lady Silvia. This is Sir Joffery. I believe you two though have already met."
Sir Joffery had gotten off the ground and on his four feet. "Aye we have my lady. I had arrived on the scene to find these two locked in combat. I had stopped Sir Darius from attacking the enemy, to see who was at fault. I must apologize for those actions Sir Darius. I had not thought that my actions would lead to further injury to yourself as well as I."
Lady Silvia nodded along with the telling of the story. White too listened to see just what had happened once he had left to fight the mage. "Sir Darius is a courageous man my lady. I must say these islands are lucky to have such a strong warrior."
White actually shook his head to this. "Actually Darius isn't from here." At least he didn't think he was. White never really did learn where Darius had come from. But he felt that if Darius had come from this island. he would have said it before they came here.
Lady Silvia then pitched in to the conversation. "Yes my knight. When I had joined White in battle he had mentioned traveling here with a friend. Either way though, Joffery is right. Destiny Islands are lucky to have you two here to fight against those enemies. Actually what can you tell us of them? Do you know why they attacked?"
White glanced over to Darius. Perhaps they should inform them on what they did know. It couldn't hurt could it? Not only that but since Lady Silvia was a keyblade user, White figured she might know more about the committee once he mentioned it. However he had no idea about how much Darius wanted to say about his sister. He would leave that part for Darius to tell if he so decided.
"Were pretty sure they belong to an organization known as the Keybladers Assassination Committee."

Darius smiled a little even though it wasn't genuine. Now, it wasn't the fact he wasn't pleased to meet them. It's just the things his mind was going through had a heavy toll on it. In fact,if he could, he'd leave the area for a time to try and make sense of things and seep into depression for a bit before he'd return. He couldn't do that right now though. They had things they had to do and Darius wasn't sure how he was going to retain his self composure. He had to, somehow.
Giving a nod to what Lady Silvia said before Joffery spoke up. The centaur was standing once again, the wounds he had completely gone. Darius was relieved to see they had managed to save him in time thanks to White's quick thinking. If he hadn't been in a haze, he would've noticed the apology a lot sooner. When it registered that Joffery appeared to be waiting for a response, Darius snapped out of it. "Oh! It's no biggie. We're alive and well now." He didn't believe that last bit for a second when it came to himself though. He wasn't well after the things he had discovered.
Fine warrior? Darius blinked. Had Joffery been talking about him? Darius hadn't been the only one here though and he wasn't of these islands. Before he was forced to respond again though, White spoke up for him. Darius looked over at White and nodded at that. He definitely hadn't been from this world. Darius had never seen an ocean before in his entire life.
It wasn't long before Silvia piped up claiming the two of them were great warriors. Then came the question as to whether or not they could tell them of the enemy. Darius felt as if he was going to be sick at the sudden reminder but managed to not retch. Once again, White managed to speak out for them. Darius nodded at what White had said. As for why they attacked, it was a mission of sorts. What about, they weren't clued in on.
"It was a mission to stir up chaos. What for, I don't even know." Darius left it at that, he didn't think he could talk about Ivory right now without feeling hurt, angry and sick again at the thought of what she had become. He couldn't bring himself to talk about her because he was so overwhelmed with everything that happened here. It was lucky they were even getting responses from him right now, his heart just wasn't in to talking much. In fact, he felt it would be best if they all just left him alone for now but he didn't say that. He didn't want to be a jerk toward anyone just because he was going through a mental breakdown. That might change though depending on how much he was bombarded about it.
