Ivory had been waiting patiently for Smiles to return, not sure what was to become of the battle he had ordered her to leave behind on Destiny Islands. Whatever the case, she hoped that nothing too bad was happening. She knew Smiles didn't lie to her so she knew that he wouldn't kill her twin brother and his friend. Still, she had to wonder how things would go. Smiles had helped her greatly and she didn't forget that. If anything, she was worried what her brother and his friend would do to him. Then again, Smiles was always more skilled than she was so there was a chance he didn't even get hurt.
While she had been waiting, she found herself in the strangest setting imaginable. The whole world here was black and white. Ivory had to blink a few times to adjust to the strange coloring of the world. It had bothered her eyesight at first but now she was gradually getting used to it as time passed. She had no idea that she was in a world set back in time and that time probably never passed here.
It wasn't until she looked down at herself that she realized this world wasn't just strange in of itself. It had actually changed her body's shape to something really weird. If she didn't know any better, she'd say it made her look really cartoony. "What the-?!" she exclaimed, lifting up her hands to better look at them. This world had been peaceful so far and she hadn't felt the need to keep her armor up so she had let it down for the time being. She still held her black dragon miniature statuette in case she had to use it at a moment's notice.
As she examined herself, she only paused when she heard the sound of a portal opening somewhere behind her. Taking her attention off the strange appearance the world had given her, she turned to face whoever was coming through the portal and found Smiles there. "Welcome back, Smiles!" she greeted him. He didn't look hurt at all. It was a sign of just how much skill he had compared to them. She didn't ask if he was alright since she wasn't sure how he'd take such a question. Besides, it was pretty obvious to her that he wasn't injured in anyway. If he was, he acted like nothing hurt at all.

Smiles... well he smiled. What else would he do upon arriving practically unscathed from a battle. Then again he was always such a cheerful fellow. At least he gave off that impression. It was hard to tell what Smiles was actually thinking. Like Ivory, he was subjected to the same transformation that she had. He was "cartoonized". Not only that but his own color had bleed out.
The world that Smiles had sent Ivory was a very different world. In fact among the people in the entire universe, only a handful knew of its existence. Besides himself, the rest were all keyblade heroes. Smiles himself had gotten the information of this world through the death of one of the keybladers. This place was very interesting.
Walking past Ivory, Smiles strolled up to the black and white river. He said nothing to her, or replied to her greeting. Instead he just gazed down the river, as if looking for something. Apparently what Smiles was looking for was a boat. It chugged down the river, sending white puffs of smoke into the air. Smiles watched the boat continue past them and further down the river. Once it curved around a bend Smiles spoke. But his eyes never left the boat.
"Every time I enter this world, I am greeted with the chug of that boat. Every time I leave I will always glance back and see it coming back the way it came."
As the boat floated into a tunnel, Smiles turned towards Ivory. "You are one of about seven outsiders who know that this world exists. The locals here call this place Disney Town. The seven outsiders know this place as the Timeless River. Welcome to the past Ivory."

Ivory watched as smiles came out from the portal. Much like her, Smiles changed to a more cartoonized form of his former self. The color that they had was taken away. Smiles' coloring bled out into the world and disappeared in all the black and white. It was a really strange world, alright. Ivory wasn't sure what to make of it. Hopefully the effects weren't permanent. Ivory wasn't sure how she'd cope with looking like a black and white cartoon of her former self.
She watched as Smiles walked past her and toward the river, looking out at it as if he were expecting to find something. Curious, Ivory followed his gaze and saw in the river a steam boat leaving down the river into a tunnel. Smoke billowed in the air above it as it chugged along. It was a cheerful looking boat.
It wasn't until then that Smiles finally spoke. Apparently, Smiles always saw that boat every time he entered and left the world. It were as if the boat would greet visitors and then bid them farewell when they took their leave. At least, that's how it seemed to Ivory. An interesting way to think about it. They watched as it was fully submerged in the tunnel. Only then did Smiles finally turn to speak to her. She could see more clearly now that Smiles had returned unscathed from that fight.
According to him, this place was only known to seven outsiders. The locals named it Disney Town but those outside of it knew it as the Timeless River. Ivory couldn't help but look back at Smiles confusedly when he just said welcome to the past. "Th-The past?!" she exclaimed. Ivory never thought there was a world that went back in time before. She looked around at it more fully then, taking it in. Was the past really like this compared to now? It was...amazing to think so much had changed since then.
"Wow!"

Smiles nodded. This was indeed the past. "There are two worlds that are parallel with this one. The first would be the actual Disney Town. And of course even from here you can see the other world." Smiles gestured into the distance where Disney Castle stood towering in the distance. "Timeless River, Disney Town, Disney Castle... Three worlds that should all be connected. Isn't it interesting that they are not."
There was no need to wait around by the river. After all Smiles did not come here just to explain this world. He gestured for Ivory to follow as he walked along the river and towards the small town Lilliput. The houses were all drawn in black and white. The people they passed in the town didn't give them a second look. Cartooned animals and humans walked here and there, some heading towards a construction site where the majority of them worked.
"One can pretty much assume that these three worlds were once one. After all the past form of a world, the current world, and the castle that should be a part of that world, all belong together. It is my belief that something must have happened. Some strange phenomenon that occurred around this time that caused one world to stay in the past, while a copy of it continued into the future. During that same phenomenon the castle too must have been made into its own world. For that reason I believe that is where we must go Ivory. To Disney Castle. But not the castle as it stands in our time. But the castle we see in the distance. The one made in black and white."
Coming to the end of the town, Smiles led them down into a black and white path that left the town and connected to the castle in the distance. Smiles had never made it to the castle before. Nor did he ever have the chance to explore this world. But Destiny Island had been shorter then expected. It would be a few days before they were called again with a new mission.
For that reason, Smiles decided it was time to explore what was behind Timeless River. Plus he had a feeling. It was that sort of feeling that said there was a bigger connection to this. That what had happened to Timeless River and the other two worlds was connected to something even greater. Smiles didn't know if it was actually possible to go to Disney Castle from here. He had never tried until today. There was really only one way to find out. Smiles continued on and the castle began to get closer and closer.

Ivory returned her gaze to Smiles as he continued to explain what he had discovered about this world. There are two worlds that are parallel with this one and they could be seen from this one. The worlds should be connected but they weren't. Ivory couldn't help but feel puzzled by this. If that was the case for this world, what about other worlds? Would it be possible for her to find a world based on the time from when Darius and she were children? Not that she'd go and look but she couldn't help but wonder. Maybe it would prevent events from happening in the present? Maybe their parents could be saved and if not, the mystery behind their deaths solved? Ivory put these thoughts in the back of her mind to dismiss them for now as she focused on what Smiles was telling her. No need to fantasize about possibilities that might not even be possible.
After he explained that, Smiles motioned for her to follow him and she did. She was curious about this place. If it really was what he was telling her, and she knew it was since he never gave her reason to think he was lying to her, then this was something to look into. They had completed their mission on Destiny Islands. It would be some time until they received another, no doubt. Until then, it looked as though Smiles was intent on doing recon on this world and those that should be connected to it.
Ivory listened as Smiles explained what he believed about the worlds running parallel. Well, it was definitely clear to her something had to have happened. What, they were trying to find out from what she was getting from Smiles. She wasn't sure if that could even be solved depending on what they would find. They were to head to Disney Castle but not the one during their own time, they were to go to the one found in this world that was in black and white.
"Alright, got it. So this is a recon mission?" she said as she glanced at the castle in the distance, careful to not stray from her path behind Smiles as she followed his lead. He was on to something but what, she couldn't even begin to imagine.

Smiles nodded. "Recon.... yes. I guess it is considered that." He really didn't have a set plan for what this mission entailed because he had no idea what was going to happen. If something happened though, it might turn into more then just gathering information. Only time would tell. As they followed the path, and the castle continue to approach, Smiles remained mostly silent.
Ivory had not asked him about her brother, or what had happened when she left. Not that Smiles really cared that much. He was more interested at the moment in what was ahead here. He had kept his word. Her brother was alive. As well as that white haired teen as well. Both were very interesting individuals as well. Not as interesting as Ivory of course. She remained his jewel for the moment.
Smiles invested in many things, but once he had a jewel, that jewel became his main focus. For that reason he brought Ivory with him. Finally they reached a point where the path led to a hill where the castle sat on top of. It hadn't taken as long as Smiles had thought. "What are the chances that the doors will be open?" He asked more to himself then to Ivory.
Taking the lead, Smiles walked up the hill until he came to the large front doors. Surprisingly there were two very cartoonish looking bears dressed in armor in front. "Halt!" They said upon their arrival. "The castle is closed at this time to all outsiders."
Smiling, Smiles strolled right up to the bear who addressed them. "Such a shame..." He said placing his hands behind his back and connecting them. "I was hoping to show my friend the inside of the castle. She has never seen one before."
The guard turned to Ivory then back to Smiles. "Be that as it may, you will have to come tomorrow. They are holding a very important conference inside." The other soldier was looking at them as well.
"Ah.... see that won't work." While the bear had been talking, Smiles had summoned dark and light energy between his hands and had summoned his weapon. After finishing his sentence, Smiles whipped his arm around, and planted his gun against the side of the bear's head. A quick pop made blood squirt out of the guard's face and all over Smiles. Not waiting for the other guard to move, Smiles whirled around and planted an energy bullet between the other guard's eyes. As the other one dropped, Smiles let out a held breath.
Cleaning the blood off his face with a whip of his arm, he bent down and picked up a pair of keys that were on the belt of the bear he had shot first. Securing them, he stepped over the dead bear, and over to the locked double doors. "Shall we?"

Judging by Smiles initial response to her question told her that Smiles was here pretty much for other reasons. They weren't acting out on missions given to them in anyway. This world was something Smiles was personally looking into, it seemed. Well, this was interesting. Ivory didn't think she'd be brought along to something so secret. She wouldn't go spreading this sort of thing around.
As she walked along behind Smiles, their trip along the path leading towards the castle that was getting ever closer, Ivory said nothing. Smiles seemed far too distracted with the castle to bother him about what had happened when she left. She wondered if Darius and White were still alive but Smiles never gave her reason to think he would lie. He always told her the truth from what she could tell. If anything, she would just ask how things went when she had left just to see how events took place.
By the time they paused, they were upon a hill with the castle resting on top of it. Ivory gazed upward at it as Smiles spoke. She thought for a moment about it. "Hm...being a castle, they would have guards...unless they're that trusting of the locals...which I doubt. Most likely blocked off by them if the doors aren't locked." She gave a shrug afterward. At least, that's what she figured. She had been in Wonderland but hadn't seen a castle before. The place that she knew of that was like one had been the one where the committee's headquarters were and her new home. This would be the first time she saw an official castle...well, second time. The other one was modified but was a castle of some sort.
Whether Smiles heard her or not, Smiles continued the rest of the way up toward the castle. Ivory tagged along, silently looking upward as they approached. By the time she had brought her gaze downward again, they were given a sudden order. Blinking, her eyes finding two cartoon bears at the front of the large double doors. She stopped herself before she'd accidentally bump into Smiles from behind. This was something she needed to pay close attention to, after all. Smiles was her mentor and may not like the idea of her wandering in her own thoughts, not paying mind to her surroundings which could prove fatal.
Ivory listened as the guard that spoke to them told them that the castle was closed off to outsiders at this time. Smiles casually strode right up to the bear and spoke to him. Ivory saw the subtle hints of where this was going as Smiles placed his hands behind his back. That usually was a sign that he was going to pull out his gun. Even now, she could see the energy forming behind his back. It made Ivory's stomach churn a little to know what he was about to do. Still, she wasn't about to warn the guards. Ivory knew where her loyalties lay for now. Smiles had given her a home and had helped her discover a part of herself that she didn't know she had. So, she remained silent but inwardly hoped the bears would just let them pass after Smiles stated that it was a shame and that he had been hoping to show her inside. Ivory, all the while, acted like this wasn't new to her and nodded at what he said with a slight look of disappointment on her face. Of course, not a genuine one but convincing enough.
It was sad to see the bear stuck to his orders. There was only one way this was going to go. Ivory braced herself as Smiles spoke once more. It all happened so fast that if Ivory had blinked, she might've only just caught sight of the second shot that felled the second bear. Now, the two guards lay dead on the ground. Ivory hoped they wouldn't run into too much trouble but she wasn't about to complain. Smiles had taught her how to handle situations where she was severely outnumbered before back with the Heartless. Dealing with a mass number of guards wouldn't be anything different from that.
Watching as Smiles let out a sigh, wiping his face free of blood and claimed the keys, Ivory didn't dare to look upon the dead. As he stepped over a dead bear, he approached the double doors and asked if they shall. Well, no arguing here on her part. She was just as curious about this place as he was although he probably knew more about this place than she did. Nodding, she replied "We shall." Once he'd open the doors, she'd head in after his lead.

The inside of the castle was what you would expect from a cartoon version of the world. A grayish carpet welcomed them down a long hallway with a cealing held up by pillars. It was interesting to see this version of Disney Castle. Smiles walked along the path and was not surprised to see that he did not run into many people while walking down the hall.
Even in the current time, Disney Castle did not have tons of occupants. There were a few servants and inhabitants, but for the most part it was a largely empty castle. Smiles was interesting in a couple of things in this world. The first was the large library. How did it compare to the world as it stood today. Surely there would be books that were now lost.
Secondly he was interested in whatever this conference was. No doubt he would find it in the throne room. For that reason, when Smiles approached the large closed doors that led to the giant hall, he passed it right by. He had no idea if Ivory had ever been to this world before, but he had not spoken a word since entering. That was because silence was important at this moment.
He hoped she picked up on it to not say anything. At least when they passed the door to the throne room. As they neared it, Smiles could hear voices coming from the inside. There were a few that stood out right away. No doubt the squeaky voice that was currently speaking belonged to the Mouse. Not much was known about the mouse, but he was responsible for the return of the keybladers power. That much Smiles did know.
Continuing down the hall, Smiles was happy to see that it led to a cartoonish staircase. Smiling, he walked the staircase up, until he reached the second level. From there it was only a matter of a few more yards before he reached the large doors to the library. Placing his hands on the handles of the double doors he opened them, expecting to see the large wondrous library.
What greeted him was nothing but empty shells. For once Smiles face hinted at slight confusion. Where were all the books? "E..e...e..excuse me." Came a voice behind him.
Turning around, Smiles looked past Ivory to see a strange black and white rabbit in front of him. With cartoony arms and feet and black eyes on his white face, he wore only gray shorts. "T...t...t...the new library is not finished yet."
Smiles let any confusion flood from his face as he responded, "My apologies...?" He asked wondering just who this creature was. He shared a look with Ivory for a moment, and placed his hands behind his back. He hoped she understood the look to mean to be ready for anything. She was much closer to the rabbit then he was. If he needed to be taken out, she would have the first opportunity.
"O...o...o...oswald." The rabbit said with a smile. "A...a...a... are you here for the conference?" Oswald the rabbit asked Smiles and Ivory.
Smiles thought a moment. Could they just stroll into the conference room and not be challenged? "Yes. But I thought to show my college the library while I attended the conference."
Oswald looked up to Ivory and smiled at her as well. "I...i...i... I can take you there. N...n...n...No problem. T...t...t..the library is currently being held in the basement until further notice. B...b...b..but you should be going to the conference sir. M...m...m...mickey is waiting for the rest of the heros."
"Sure. Soon as I see my college off to the library with you I will head there straight away." Oswald nodded.
"T...t...t..then follow me." He said. Turning Oswald walked back the way we came. As Smiles came up next to Ivory he whispered in her ear.
"Prepare to kill him the moment we reach the library."

Ivory had never been to this world before in her life. In fact, she and her brother hadn't really seen that many worlds outside of Meadows except for Traverse Town, where they had ended up. She wasn't sure but she figured talking at this point would be foolish. They had just broke into a castle. Surely, guards would be on them like bees to honey if they talked while traveling through the halls unannounced. Instead, she merely observed the area as they went.
The castle was huge, much like their headquarters but different. It was a typical castle that one would expect to see. As she walked behind Smiles, Ivory tried to take in its immense scenery as they went. The pair of them approached a set of double doors. Within, she could hear voices. Knowing they had broken in before, she quietly glanced at it as they passed right by it. Smiles had no intentions of walking into the conference just yet. What was he looking for in here?
Silently, she followed him all the way up to a staircase. They both climbed up this onto the second level. There, they came upon a set of doors again. Smiles placed his hands upon the handles and opened them to find...an unfinished room. Ivory peered over from behind him, wondering what it was that he was trying to find.
A sudden voice made her jump slightly. Slowly, she brought her gaze over to what appeared to be some sort of rabbit...or was it? Well, the elongated ears made her think so. As Smiles spoke, Ivory looked over at him. They shared an exchange of looks. Ivory already knew what he was hitning at when he had placed his hands behind his back. Quietly, she seemed to fold her arms as one hand slipped into her pocket. Wrapping her hand around the black miniature dragon statuette, Ivory waited.
This being was very timid sounding, his name Oswald. He was inquiring if they were both here to attend the conference. Smiles confirmed that he was but not until he showed her the library. What was it that Smiles was searching for? A physical connection to what might have happened here to cause the present time world to be separate from this one? How would she find it though in a library? Maybe some kind of event would be explained in an old archive?
Ivory looked back over at Oswald and returned a bit of a smile despite her thoughts. If Oswald didn't leave their company, she suspected Smiles would want her to kill him. No one should know of their time spent here, apparently. Currently the library was held in the basement. Oswald made it known that Smiles needed to hurry though since Mickey was waiting for the rest that were to attend. Smiles stated that he would though once he saw them to the library.
With that, Oswald started to lead the way. Smiles came right up next to her and whispered in her ear. Anyone whispering in her ear had a habit of tickling her a bit. She refrained from reacting to it though as his words hit her. He was indicating that she be ready once they reached the library to kill Oswald. Were they to kill him immediately or was this if he inquired anything more? In either case, she nodded to show she understood. She opened her hand to show that she had previously gripped her means of obtaining her dragon armor to show him that she would be ready. With that, she followed their lead down the hallway.

Oswald led them down the staircase, back the way they came. All the while he tried to keep up a conversation. "Y...y...you two are sort of strange. I...i...i... have never seen two as young as you. T..t...the other masters are all older. B...b...b...besides Mickey of course. H...h...h...he is the youngest."
Smiles nodded in understanding, though he really didn't have a clue. "A...a...are you two masters as well?" The rabbit asked coming to the end of the staircase and then walked back down the hall.
It only took a moment for Smiles to think of a good response. "No. Our master sent us here in his place. He is ill."
Oswald responded, "S...s...s...sorry to hear that." As they approached the door to the throne room once more, Smiles came to a stop. Standing right at the door were the two guards that they had killed mere minutes ago. Not only were they alive, but they looked completely unharmed.
"B...b...b...borris. M...m...m...Morris. I...i...i.. am just showing our guest too the library. T...t...t...they wanted to see it before joining the other keyblade heroes." Smiles had placed his hands behind his back and had summoned his gun. He was ready to attack.
The two bears glanced from Oswald to the two of them. "Welcome." The bear that Smiles had thought he had killed first said. "The rest of the heroes are here. They have already started it sounds like."
Smiles found himself smiling. They did not even remember them... interesting. Something was very strange about this world. The way the boat always came when he arrived, and went back the other way when he left. Smiles hadn't mentioned it but the patterns of the workers in town were usually the same too. They always walked to that construction site.
Suddenly a thought came to Smiles mind and it all made sense. "This world is looping." He said aloud. Oswald and the two bears glanced at him in slight confusion.
Smiles still had his gun in hand. He suddenly brought it forward and planted there bullets. One in Oswald, and two in the bears. As the three all dropped. Smiles, turned to Ivory. "Follow." Testing his hypothesis, Smiles walked around the bend and out of sight of the front door. He then turned right back around and walked around the bend.
Sure enough standing in front of the door were the two bear soldiers. Fine again. Oswald was walking past them now, heading on his way down the hall. Smiles turned to Ivory. "This world is stuck in an endless loop. It's like a movie replaying over and over again. We can affect it, but not permanently." This raise many more questions.

As they went, Ivory noticed that it was the way from whence they came. In the pit of her stomach, she wondered if this would be when the alarm would be raised. Then again, that just meant if Oswald discovered the dead bears if they were going that way, they'd just have to kill him to silence him. Then, their death toll here would be three rather than the two so far.
The entire way, the creature tried to make conversation with them. It was obvious to her that he was rather shy but attempting to come out of his shell a little bit. In a way, he reminded her of herself. Ivory was once pretty shy in the past. So much so, that she often relied on Darius to do the talking when it came to interacting with others. If she was in a situation where she had to talk to someone she didn't know, Ivory stuttered a lot like this Oswald was doing.
Ivory gave a nod when Oswald mentioned that it was odd to see others as young as them considering he others were older. In her mind, she was wondering if they were about to be figured out. Already, she was prepared to summon her armor and weapons at a moment's notice. Then, the question of whether they were masters was asked of them. Ivory let her gaze turn towards Smiles as he spoke. They were here in place of their nonexistent master. Surprisingly, that lie worked.
However, they came upon the bear guards but oddly enough, they weren't dead! Ivory couldn't help but blink with surprise on her face. When the bear guards looked in their direction upon Oswald's beckoning, Ivory tried to keep on a straight face, her hand holding the dragon in her hand tightly. If she had to summon her armor, she'd be ready. The bears didn't seem to recognize them though. Ivory couldn't help but furrow her brows with confusion as she blinked back at them. Just what was going on?
Smiles suddenly spoke. Ivory turned to him with confusion as well. The world was looping? Without hesitation, Smiles put three bullets into the three around them. As they fell to the ground dead, Smiles ordered Ivory to follow him. "Right." She obediently followed him down the hall, around the bend out of sight of the front door. Then, he turned around and headed back, Ivory following his lead closely.
By the time they rounded the bend and reached where they had left the three, Oswald and the bear guards were alive once more! This time, Oswald was moving on his merry way again still leading them toward their destination. Ivory listened as Smiles told her that this world was in an endless loop. Anything they did wouldn't affect the world permanently. "Wow, that's...that's...amazing!" she stated, watching the once previously dead Oswald lead the way. It was bizarre.

Amazing was a good word for it. But Smiles had a better one. It was interesting. And he lived for the interesting. What event was looping here? And why this event. There was a conference going on. That much was for sure. Smiles hoped that this conference was the reason that the world was looping. Perhaps it would even give them insight into why these worlds were separated.
Smiles still had no clue as to what there vulnerability here was. But there was no doubt in his mind now. They had to enter the throne room. Smiles continued on, coming to a stop before the two guards. "We are here for the conference."
The only bear who ever talked turned to the two of them. "And you are?" He asked.
Smiles didn't no many keyblader names by heart. He never found a name to be really that interesting. It was good for information, but that was about it. He also had no idea how many people were behind this door either. If there were only a few, then they would have to come up with a good reason for being here. Suddenly things clicked and Smiles had an idea.
"The governor of Disney Town has sent us in his steed to stand in." Smiles lied. There would be no claiming they were keyblade heroes. If someone asked them to summon their weapon, they would not be able to. He figured there was a much better chance of them being able to get in with that lie, then with another.
Borris paused. "One moment please." He said before slipping behind the double door. There were mumbled sounds coming from inside a moment before the doors opened once more. "Welcome." The bear soldier said.
Sharing a smile with Ivory, Smiles headed in first. Just like the throne room in Disney Castle, the place was decorated very similar with long carpet, white walls, and long pillars. However everything was cartoonish. Besides the decoration of the room, Smiles counted five people standing near the throne. In the throne itself was King Mickey. Looking sort of odd and cartoonish, Smiles found himself comparing the King that he saw from pictures in books, to the cartoon version before them.
"Welcome friends! So good that Jasper sends you two. We could always use more council." The King said in his whimsical high voice.
As he approached the throne, Smiles bowed, as was only fit before a king. Standing up, Smiles gave the king a smile. "Thank you for having us your majesty. Jasper tells us to help you all that we may. I am called Jonathan. And this is my sister Petunia."
The king gave them all a nod and a smile. "That is wonderful nice to meet you. Let me introduce you to my colleges. This is Master Yen Sid." Master Yen Sid was a tall man dressed in a gray, though Smiles figured it really was a different color, wizard robe. A long wizard hat sat on his head, and he had the beginnings of a bear growing as well. Hard eyes looked down from seven feet, but a soft smile greeted them.
The King continued with the introductions. "Next to him is Master Eraqus." Eraqus was an Asian man, though cartooned, with long black hair tied in a pony tail and a black mustache and soul patch. He was a slightly older man, Smiles would put him in his forties, and dressed in a black and white coat with a black shirt and white samaurai pants underneath. He gave both him and Ivory a nod.
"And this is...." Mickey began introducing an older man with a bald head gray eyes and a gray beard. He was dressed in a long black coat with white gloves, black pants, and a white shirt tied with two black belts.
The older man cut off Mickey to introduce himself. "I am Master Xehanort." He said with a smile. Smiles, being the person he is, knew immediately what kind of person this man was. This man himself was responsible for the second Keyblade War. He had read about him in the history books. It wasn't surprising to see him smile creepily in the flesh.
Mickey let out a small laugh. "Yup. And last is Master Issac." The last member was the youngest and closest to Smiles and Ivory in age. With combed back spikey hair that reached his neck, Smiles noticed that his eyes were the same color. He was dressed in a simple black cloak that covered him head to toe. Smiles had never heard of this one before. The rest were in this history books, but this one was not.
Having made all the introductions, King Mickey continued. "All of our acolytes are busy doing other things but they are here as well. Did the mayor tell you why the five of us had chosen to meet?" The King asked.

Once they were done with the discovery, Smiles approached the two bear guards stating that they were there for the conference. Ivory acted as if this information wasn't new to her, trying to look as convincing as possible as she stood there, waiting for the guards to respond. It didn't take long before they were asked who they were. Ivory decided it would be best to let Smiles take the lead. He was a quick thinker and she didn't want to ruin anything he had in mind since he had taken her here.
According to Smiles, they were sent here by the governor of Disney Town. Ivory gave a nod at that to confirm that this was indeed what they were here for. As they stood there, the bear told them to wait a moment as he slipped behind the doors he had been standing in front of for the throne room. There were muffled voices on the other side.
'Do they suspect us?' Ivory wondered. She wasn't sure but it did make her paranoid. Ivory did her best to keep her cool. Freaking out at a time like this wouldn't do them any good. Thankfully, she didn't have long to wait to find out if they did suspect them or not. The bear welcomed them and had opened the doors to allow them admittance.
There, standing before them, were a load of people. One of them was seated upon a throne and was somewhat like Oswald except the ears weren't long but round and big. He also had a tail. Ivory glanced over in Smiles' direction. The mere thought of what they were doing was wrong still gave her a bit of a thrill as she returned a smile to him. She followed his lead right into the throne room. Really, were they all that gullible? It didn't seem like they were. Maybe they just had a lot of good luck on their side?
The one that welcomed them was the one seated upon the throne. Ivory, as Smiles had done, bowed before it. She felt following Smiles' actions would be wise here since she was still new to the whole castle concept. Clearly, the one on the throne was the king and leader of this place. It was wise to pay respect to them.
Once that was finished, Smiles spoke again. What he used as their disguised names made her inwardly put a palm to her face. Petunia? Of all the names he could come up with for her, it was Petunia? 'I don't know whether to be insulted or feel complimented!' she thought. After all, the word "petunia" referenced to a flower or...someone's rear end. Oh well, she'll just have to deal. "Yes, thank you, your highness. It's a pleasure to meet you."
With that, a series of introductions took place. None of them, Ivory had ever heard of. Meadows hadn't exactly been a mainstream world. Anything like Disney Town and Disney Castle wasn't known to the world. In fact, you might consider Meadows as a world that hadn't much traffic. It was on the outskirts of Gummi Space. So much so that the only thing that was off worldly for Meadows that was known about were Gummi Ships and the idea of space travel. So,any famous figures known in the mainstream worlds weren't known to Meadows. Not even the king that sat upon his thrown was known.
It wasn't long before the introductions had ceased and the king went on to explain that they were all gathered her but what for, she didn't know. When the king asked if the governor had filled them in on just what it had been about, this conference, that she was at a loss. Was this a trick question? Ivory looked thoughtful for a moment. What to say? She could say maybe the governor might have given them some information but if they were asked further about what, she didn't want to corner them that way. It might be wise to let Smiles continue to lead. They seemed to inquire more from him anyway. Still, she was here so she'd hold firm on her end if she had to if any questions were directed at her for the most part.

Smiles answered for the both of them. "He had not. He wanted us here right away. Something about you guys not making a decision without the towns interests in heart." Smiles actually had met the governer here in Timeless River. He was a short man, and often seemed very paranoid. He had never talked to the man, but he had witnessed his conversations to the town ordering people to get to the fire.
The King shook his head. "Jasper's always worrying about something." He said with a small laugh. "I asked everyone here today to talk about the future of the keybladers. Some of you have brought some of your apprentices. Others have not, but we all have heard rumors of children discovering they can summon a keyblade. My question is should we bring back the Heroes of Light."
Smiles had never heard of the Heroes of Light. So he just sat back and listened. Master Xehanort was the first to respond to the King. "There is danger in bringing back the Order. What is to prevent another war?"
The king opened his mouth to respond, but it was Master Yen Sid who responded first. "The war was a result of greed and power. We are the remaining masters, the remains of the war. There are not that many of us for a war to start. Plus we are all good people. None are threatened by what power the darkness holds."
Master Eraqus was quick to nod. "I agree. But I am weary. I have heard these rumors too. Just today I found a young girl with promise of talent. And you all know of my son, he is strong. And my own current pupil Thomas. He is here with us today. Why can't things remain the way they are?"
A small silence fell on the room. The only ones who hadn't spoken were the last Master and Smiles and Ivory. The king turned to the last Master first. "And what say you, Master Issac."
Master Issac's face was unreadable. He said nothing at first, but gradually he said, "War must be avoided at all costs. I say no to this ridiculous idea!" There was anger in his words.
Smiles thought now was a fitting time to say his response. In the end he knew that it wouldn't matter. But to further on the scene someone would have to say something. "As long as there are heroes to protect. Disney Town is behind any answer."
The five masters all nodded. The king turned to the masters. "I call a vote. All in favor of the return?" He asked raising his hand up. Only Master Yen Sid raised his hand as well. "All against?" That left the remaining Masters to vote against it.
King Mickey let out a sigh. "Then what should we do?" He asked.
Master Xehanort responded. "I agree with Eraqus. Let us seek out these children. Train them to use there power. I say we reestablish the Mark of Mastery. Make it a requirement that all of us must approve for the accent of Mastery."
The King seemed to like this idea for he nodded along with the majority of the masters. The only one who did nothing was Master Issac. "I second this motion set forth by our good Master Xehanort. All in favor?" Together all the hands raised. "Now then. I believe you brought your pupil here Master Eraqus to become a master. Why don't we set it for tomorrow morning? Oh and Jonathan and Petunia why don't you stay the night. Jasper would send you back here anyway first thing in the morning. It would be easier I'm sure." Smiles glanced at Ivory. Of course they would stay. That was not the reason he glanced over to Ivory. Smiles had never been here for more then a day. No matter what time he left, it was always daytime. Did the loop begin again at the end of the day? Or was something else going to happen very soon. At the moment they had not learned much about anything really. All of this they could have found in the history books.
Smiles was so caught up in his thoughts he missed the King ask them, "Does that work for you?" It would be up to Ivory to answer.

As Smiles answered the king's question, Ivory had nodded her head in agreement. Once again, she acted as if this wasn't anything new. Even though she put on a mask to deceive, Ivory couldn't help but feel as though they were being watched closely. In the corner of her eye, she could see the tall elderly wizard watching them. Had he suspected them? She made no move to look in his direction. So far, their cover wasn't blown. If anything, he was probably curious of them since neither of them did anything to warrant suspicion just yet.
The answer that Smiles had given the king seemed to suffice. It wasn't long before they learned what sort of conference was being held. Apparently, they were deciding what to do with the future of the keybladers. The king's main issue was if they should bring them back or not. Ivory couldn't help but listen more closely here. She had heard of 'Children of Light' in an old storybook before back in Meadows. According to the way the king was speaking, it made her wonder what had happened to those before if they were thinking of bringing them back. Smiles appeared to be wondering the same thing since he had said nothing.
Everyone had their say in this situation. As she stood there, she could see that Master Isaac wasn't pleased with the idea of bringing back the keybladers. Had he suffered a lot? The tone of anger in his voice made it clear that something had bothered him about it. Well, if he lost someone important then she could see why. However, it might be wise to still have warriors to defend those that couldn't defend themselves. Leaving one's self open and vulnerable was a dangerous idea. Ivory had learned quickly enough from Smiles to not let her guard down until she was absolutely sure she was in a safe zone.
Eventually, Smiles spoke one more time stating that as long as there were heroes here to protect then the town stood behind the answer given. A final vote was made and then the king mentioned something about a Mark of Mastery that was to take place the next day. It didn't take long before the king directed his attention on them. Ivory heard him suggest that they stayed here for the night since Jasper would only send them back here in the morning anyway. It would be much easier to stay the night than to go back to Disney Town and all the way back here.
Smiles had glanced at her then, she looking back at him. Would something loop and cause them to get stuck here? No, she didn't think this world's looping around was dangerous for those like herself and Smiles. If something weird were to happen, Smiles could always open up a portal for them to escape in. She redirected her attention when the king asked if this would work for them. Since Smiles didn't appear to be answering, too caught up in what she believed were thoughts, Ivory knew it was up to her to give an answer before their cover was blown.
"That works just perfectly, your highness. We thank you for your thoughtfulness and kindness. My brother and I would be delighted." It was the best she could come up with as she gave a smile and a bow.

Ivory's response pulled Smiles out of his thoughts. He glanced over towards King Mickey and nodded in agreement. The King addressed them. "Wonderful. There are many open rooms in the dormitories. But that would be quite lonely I'd assume. Why don't you take the room next to Thomas." Only an idiot would refuse a king.
Smiles bowed in acceptance. "Oh enough of that. I just became king." Master Yen Sid and Master Eraqus both let out a jolly laugh at that. Master Xehanort gave a smile, and Master Issac remained stone faced.
"Well then everyone. Why don't we go retire for the evening. It is getting pretty late." The king said. Everyone nodded as they began to make their way towards the large double doors they had entered.
Smiles though did not leave. The king noticed this as well, because he was patient and waited for everyone to leave before turning to him. "Now is there something else Jonathan and Petunia?"
Nodding, Smiles did have one thing he wanted to ask. "Jasper had bid us to collect a certain book from your collection your majesty. We had thought to check the giant library, but it seems you are repairing it."
The king smiled. "Jasper always has his nose in a book. Yes the books are being held in the cellars at the moment. Borris!" The king shouted. The doors behind them opened, and the bear soldier popped his head inside the throne room.
"Your majesty?"
The King sat up out of his throne. "Show our friends to the cellar. Jasper has a book he wants." Glancing back to Smiles and Ivory he spoke to them one last time, "Well then I shall see you tomorrow." Taking it as their cue to leave, Smiles gestured with his head to head on out. He walked out of the throne room where Borris the Bear was waiting for them.
"Right then... This way."

Ivory was relieved that what she said proved sufficient enough. Seeing as they were dealing with a king, the only best option she could come up with was speaking in a polite manner. It wasn't wise, at least she thought so, to insult or anger a king. This one seemed pretty easygoing though. All they had to do was just stick to their story and they should be alright.
She listened as the king stated that there were plenty of rooms where the dormitories were located but that it would be lonely. Honestly, she and Smiles wouldn't find it lonely but she knew better than to go and say that. It might just spark up suspicion if she did. So, just like Smiles, she had inclined her head with agreement. She had no clue who this Thomas was but they would oblige. "Thank you, your highness."
Their bows though seemed to make the king feel modest though when he went on to state that he had only just became a king. Once she had finished her bow, Ivory couldn't help but smile at that. He was pretty nice. It wasn't long before he suggested they all retire for the night. With that, everyone went their separate ways but not Smiles and Ivory. Smiles still had something he wished to do and Ivory only acted when Smiles did since she always followed his lead.
The king noticed they hadn't left just yet and had questioned them about it. Ivory had nodded her head when Smiles spoke. As luck would have it, Jasper was an avid reader and the king was quick to let them know where the books were before calling out to the bear soldier, Borris. The king gave the bear orders to show them to the library.
Once that was settled, the king stated that he would see them tomorrow. Ivory inclined her head with a smile. "Goodnight, your majesty." With that, she turned to face Smiles and saw him indicate to her to head out. Nodding, Ivory headed out of the throne room where they found the bear soldier, Borris.
With that, he began to lead them all the way towards the basement where Oswald would have originally taken them if they didn't decide to head to the throne room instead for the conference.

The Disney Library was the biggest in the world during their time. People came from everywhere just to look through its books. There were millions of books on almost everything. Smiles though had a specific reason for wanting to come here. He had been to the library in Disney Castle, but he honestly thought the information he was looking for was here, and not in the present. Not only that, but there was the strange occurrences of these words perked his interest.
Borris the bear lead them down the stairway and into the cellar. Bringing them to a door, he reached to the set of keys on his belt and picked out a single key on the ring. Opening the door, Smiles awaited to see the endless books. He figured that this must be a long cellar to fit the almost a million books that was found in the library.
When the door was open though, they were greeted with a small cellar with about seven book shelves and a table with a stack of books ontop. There were not thousands of books. In fact, there were probably only a hundred. Smiles was surprised by this. It meant that the thousands of books that the castle owned, were not owned yet.
"These are all the books correct?" Smiles had to ask.
Borris the bear nodded. "Yes sir. Were supposed to be getting an increase soon as that wizard comes back. But hes busy with some boy and a sword in a stone."
What else could Smiles say but, "I see..."
Borris placed his key ring back on his belt. "Right then. Just shut the door behind you when you want to leave. It'll lock on its own." Borris the bear didn't wait for a goodbye. He shut the door on his way out.
Smiles knew Ivory must be wondering why they were here. Just what was his main reason for coming here. "I need you to look through these books for anything that mentions Fissures." Of course Smiles did not know that there would be no book to find. However there time in the library would be used for something that did need to happen. And that is passing time.

When they reached the cellar doors, Ivory wondered what lay within that had interested Smiles so much. Of course, she figured it had to be some sort of book but about what she wasn't exactly sure. Once they were by themselves, she was certain he might fill her in. As she watched Borris pick out a key from the ring of keys he had in his possession, Ivory personally hoped there weren't too many books that it would take them forever to find what Smiles might be searching for. She wasn't a slacker but the idea of mulling through thousands of books intimidated her since it would take at least a few years to sift through them all if more weren't added.
When Borris opened the door, Ivory hadn't exactly been expecting the sight that met her eyes. In fact, she was half expecting a mountain of books. Instead, what they found behind the doors in the cellar were shelves that could be easily counted at a glance and books were stacked in neat piles on tables. '...I know I didn't want a thousand or more books but...is this really it?' she wondered to herself.
Smiles had been wondering the same thing as he had actually asked Borris about it. The bear soldier nodded his head, claiming they weren't due to get more yet until some wizard returned. Smiles simply responded and then Borris returned the key ring to his belt. As he did so, he told them that when they wished to leave, the door would lock on its own when they shut it. "Alright, thank you."
Now, it was just Smiles and Ivory left in the small cellar library. Borris hadn't really waited for a response and had pretty much just shut the door behind him despite Ivory thanking him just then. 'Oh well!' she thought to herself, almost certain her words hadn't been heard by the bear soldier's ears. Turning to Smiles, he finally spoke to her. As she had suspected, he filled in on what he was searching for. He was looking for anything that mentioned Fissures.
"Uh...alright then..." she trailed off, looking at each of the shelves as she wondered where to begin. "I'll um...take this half of the library then?" she said before she headed over to that end and began digging into books. Surely, there would be an index in some of these? As she took the first one out from the topmost shelf she had wandered over to, Ivory looked at the title. Surely, geography wouldn't be a book they were looking for since Fissures were creatures. Popping it open to peer at the index only confirmed this as she discarded it back to where she got it.
Things went like this for a good few hours while they searched with nothing turning up. Ivory had finished a good number of books, losing count at one hundred already. She couldn't help but sigh to herself with frustration at nothing turning up. Still, she resumed popping books open on her knee and scanning through them until finally, they called it quits. "Sorry, Smiles...I wasn't able to find anything on them."
She glanced around the area and then looked at a clock that was ticking. Since this was a makeshift library, they had put a clock in here to tell people in the library what time was spent. Already, they had spent more than an hour in here. "Wow, time flew by us." She looked back down over at Smiles.
"Do you think we'll be able to get some shut eye or does the time frame move faster than what we're used to?" she inquired. "Er...that is, if you plan to call it quits for now and come back down here another time?" She didn't want Smiles to think that she was trying to be too pushy. Whatever he decided, in the end, she would abide by it.

Smiles had unfortunately scanned all the books. He found not a single mention of the creatures. He had hoped that this world might have something about them. What were they really? Why were they working with them? And what kind of power did they really have? Were they something to be afraid of? All these questions Smiles was hoping to get an answer too. Sadly he did not get them.
He hated to agree, but Ivory was right. They had scanned the books. It was time to retire. "No your right. Let's return to the bedrooms." Closing the door behind him, Smiles started up the stair case. He didn't have an exact clue as to where there room was, but he had a general idea.
Once he reached the top, he made his way down the same general hallway. He passed by the throne room doors, where the two bear guards were now nowhere to be seen. As he continued on, instead of going down the hallway that led to the staircase that went to the library, he went the opposite way. As they went farther down the halls, doors that resembled something like a hotel hallway began appearing.
Smiles was surprised to see names on some of the doors. They passed Master Yen Sid's door and even Master Eraqus. If Smiles had glanced to the doors next to Master Eraqus's he would have seen the three names of his apprentices on one of the doors. As they continued along though, the sound of a door opening ahead of them made Smiles pause. He held up his hand, in a motion to tell Ivory to pause.
Glancing down the hallway, Smiles watched Master Issac exit the room. "Interesting.... Just where are you going this late at night?" Smiles asked himself. Something felt different in the air. He could almost taste it on his tongue. The Master did not seem to notice them, as he closed the door behind him and started down the hallway in the opposite direction of where they stood.
Pointing an index finger forward, Smiles indicated to follow. Smiles made sure to stay at least a good twenty feet behind the Master as they followed him down the hallway. Master Issac headed around a couple of bends before finally he came to stop at a single door. Smiles watched Master Issac reach down and push the door open. He did not knock.
Picking up the pace, Smiles walked over to the open doorway, but did not appear in the entrance of it. He didn't want anyone to see him inside. He did however open a portal in the wall next to him, and another one on the other side of the doorway. Stepping in it, he thus made room for Ivory to peer into the room while trying to remain hidden, as was his plan.
Peeking his head, Smiles spotted Master Issac standing over a sleeping man. He could not tell just who it was because the room was dark, but he read the words Thomas on the door. Apparently this was the apprentice that was going to take the Mark of Mastery tomorrow. What was Master Issac doing?
The disturbed man stretched out his hand and summoned a white and gold keyblade. It was a majestic weapon, and it looked powerful as well. Master Issac peered down at his weapon and his hand shook almost as if he was angry at the weapon. Then another strange thing happened. Master Issac suddenly brought his keyblade up in an overhanging stance, and slammed the blade down into the sleeping form.
Suddenly light was thrown on into the room, and everything could be seen. The sleeping teen had used magic to light the room, but he was shocked to see Master Issac pushing his keyblade down deeper into him. Master Issac twisted his keyblade and Smiles watched a bright light erupt where the keyblade connected with the man;s chest.
Master Issac's eyes quickly went from slight surprise to eagerness as he was pulled into that light. With him disappeared, Smiles found himself searching the stabbed man's face for life. Oddly it seemed like it was frozen except for the blood that continued to flow from the wound, and the steady rise and fall of his chest. Just what was happening?
