Oh how wrong they all were. None knew what forces drove the ancient magic, nor what its true purpose was. No one knew that the magic was made for just one person, for a time when it would be needed. All others who had entered, stood no chance against its powerful forces. Even Smiles it merely tolerated for the purpose that he was involved with the one it waited for.
When the person who it was made for finally entered, it brought about a chain of events within itself so that the person might have a chance against the forces that worked against the ancient magic. However it was not able to do so without warning Ivory as to what it was about to do. And it had. She had willfully accepted her victory and accepted the trials even after warning her that she should not.
The angel watched Ivory leave, knowing that the restriction was to one body. It said nothing about more then one mind. The portal closed as Ivory left, sealing the deal so to speak.
------------------
Smiles was shocked to see that the portal was glowing. He had been glancing down at his cell phone, wondering if Ivory would return in the twenty minutes that was left. Skull would no doubt be joining them in moments for their mission. Still, Smiles wanted to make sure that Ivory was alright and had a time to eat before they left. She would just have to eat fast.
Walking over towards Ivory, Smiles couldn't hide his smile. Then again he never really had to since he naturally was always smiling. "Welcome back."
------------------
As Ivory stepped into the ring, Artemis's future was sealed. And boy did it suck! He watched s she stepped into the ring that had appeared where he had stood. It was the way out, but it was the wrong way out. He had tried to warn her! By stepping through the ring in front of her, his mind had been trapped in her own.
The moment she stepped out of it, Artemis screamed inside her head. "WHY DIDN"T YOU LISTEN!" He didn't want to get stuck in the head of a girl for who knows how many years! Why couldn't it have been a guy. At least a guy wasn't so mysterious to him. Artemis could hear everything that Ivory thought as if she was speaking to him. And sad to say she could hear everything he said as well. The ancient magic had tricked her!

(OOC: *Laughing my ass off so darn hard right now* This is going to be very interesting XD) Ivory had no idea what the ancient magic had in mind. She felt really bad about the whole thing and had no idea that another mind and soul had pretty much been placed in her body. It just looked to her like the trial had ended in a sad and unfair way. Being human, she obviously wouldn't have known what was going to take place as soon as she had left the trial. When she had, Ivory wasn't even aware of the fact that something wasn't quite right.
As she had exited, there, she found Smiles waiting for her. As always, a smile was on his face but Ivory wasn't able to return the smile. She still felt bad about the whole ordeal. She would've preferred if things ended more on a fair level. Instead, things had not so all she could do was regret what had happened. Of course, she wasn't aware that she had fallen right for the trick of the trial.
Hearing Smiles, she tried to form a smile but she couldn't. "Thank you, Smiles." She was happy to be out of there, that much was true, but on the pretenses of how she had wasn't at all to her liking. Had that really been all there was? She couldn't help but glance over her shoulder for a brief moment before looking back over at Smiles. "How lon-?" she made to say but something else happened. All of a sudden, she heard the voice of a boy screaming at her. It was so abrupt and sudden, that Ivory had jumped and whirled on the spot letting out a yell of her own as well, turning towards where the ring was but found no one there.
"H-Huh?" she exclaimed. It was then that she felt something inside of her that shouldn't be there. How did she know? Well, for one, there seemed to be a presence in her body and it did not feel good. In fact, it was akin to being stuck in a small space with someone too close for comfort. Judging by the other presence in her body, they too weren't exactly comfortable with this arrangement either.
Somehow, the ancient magic had placed this presence inside of her. The voice had sounded familiar. No doubt, it was a guy...who obviously did not like what had just happened and was worried about being stuck in the body of a girl. Yes, she could very much sense his thoughts like he could her own. The fact that there was such a sudden connection did not feel good at all. In fact, Ivory mentally recoiled at the connection but there was no way she could get away from it or even break it. She felt violated, in a twisted kind of way.
"Wh-Who are you?" she replied to the other being inside her aloud. She really wasn't sure how to respond and didn't realize she could just simply use her mind to communicate to this foreign soul and mind. No doubt, Smiles might think she had lost her mind just now.

((OOC: I bet you didn't see that coming )) Smiles was relieved to see that Ivory was not dead. He of course had no clue as to what the rings had done. So as he brought the tray over with him, he looked Ivory up and down to make sure that she was alright. For the most part she seemed alright. Perhaps a few cuts and bruises, but nothing that wouldn't heal with time. Smiles had done right in placing her in that trial. At least he thought so. Ivory began to ask him a question when all of a sudden she did the strangest thing. Smiles could only watch in confusion as she twirled about, her sentence cut off. As he watched what transpired next, concern crossed his face. This did not happen often with Smiles. What was she talking about... and to who? Maybe the trial had taken more out of Ivory then he had thought. "Ivory are you alright?" They were short on time, and Smiles wanted Ivory to eat. But at the moment her health was more of a concern. She was talking to the air. What did she mean who are you? She knew who he was, so she was obviously not talking to him... Was she? Had the trial taken away her memories. "Maybe you should sit down... Here I brought some food." Smiles said, placing the food in front of her. If Ivory was not well enough for the upcoming mission, he would be able to tell. He had nothing against leaving her behind if she wasn't alright. --------------------------- Artemis couldn't believe her reaction. Normally he was a very serious type of person, but when your only companion for a hundred years was the statue of an angel who was quite annoying, you learn to enjoy the smaller things of existence. So when Ivory leaped and twirled about, Artemis let out a chuckle. She then became aware of his presence which was not at all fun. Being just in her mind, to Artemis it felt like she had just run her hands down his body. God he had been with a woman before, but never against his own violation. He felt naked! "First of all stop talking out loud! I'm in your mind you idiot. Of all the people in the world I get a chance of seeing the worlds and having a slight existence again and its in an idiot! Wonderful! Let me guess your a blond and your hairs just died black." Being in Ivory's mind, Artemis pretty much had the ability to feel some of the sensations that she did. It was a bit different for her though with him. She could read his thoughts but not much more. Well at least not yet. For that reason, Artemis was able to tell that her hair was indeed natural. "Nope not a blond.... So whose the guy with the creepy smile? Oh I'm Artemis by the way. I'll be inhabiting your head for the rest of your life." Oh yes, Artemis had learned to be funny.

(OOC: I did not and it cracked me up so badly I had to get my inhaler I laughed so hard XDDD) Ivory could hear someone chuckling and looked over her shoulder back over at Smiles as if he had been the one who was chuckling but it didn't sound like Smiles. In fact, Smiles wasn't chuckling. She blinked at him in confusion for a moment, Smiles pretty much doing the same thing. Who was laughing at her? Looking around the room, confused, she saw no one.
It wasn't until then that she realized the voice was inside of her own body. The realization made her heart skip a beat. She had heard Smiles ask if she was alright. Focusing on Smiles again, she spoke. "I-...I don't-!" she made to answer only to focus back on the chuckling in her mind again. Just what was so funny? Did he honestly find her predicament that amusing? How the hell was she to explain this one? There was no easy way of explaining such a thing. In fact, she could easily be passed off as insane right now. Had she gone insane? Well, it didn't seem it. It just pretty much felt like someone was there other than herself but she wasn't really able to tell much about him, this other presence inside of her. All she knew was that she felt exposed and she couldn't get away.
As she stood there, asking who the presence was, he finally answered her. Of course, he wasn't kind about it. In fact, he was rather rude about it. Ivory's eyebrows furrowed as her face got a bit angry in reaction. She wasn't an idiot! In fact, she didn't even know there was someone else in her! She felt violated, confused and now she was angry at the fact this presence was calling her an idiot. She didn't even have to notify him that she wasn't a blond since he seemed to sense it for himself that she naturally had black hair.
Smiles spoke again, tearing her attention away from the male voice in her head as she looked back over at him when he spoke. Doing as he said, Ivory sat down but the voice in her head wasn't finished yet. "S-Sorry." As Smiles set the tray of food before her, the male voice went on to ask her about Smiles. Whomever this male voice was, his name was Artemis and now, according to him, he would be in her head for the rest of her life. Whether this were true or not, she hadn't a clue but she knew that she definitely did not like the sound of that one. 'For your information, the one you see before me is Smiles, my best friend!' she answered him grumpily despite the fact she was pretty freaked out that she had a voice in her head.
Looking down at the food, she tried hard to not act like anything was wrong with Smiles watching her. She didn't want to alarm him or make him think that she had gone insane. How else was someone going to explain they had another voice inside their mind? No doubt, she knew how Tears felt to a degree. Trying to act normal, despite the fact the nasty shock made her not want to eat, Ivory picked a piece of food off the tray and examined it for a moment before forcing herself to take a bite out of it. Her stomach felt like it had been filled with lead after finding out she now had another person inside her mind. How the heck was she going to get this one resolved?

((OOC: Just to let you know I'll be out of town til Tuesday so I won't be able to respond until then.))
Smiles watched Ivory as she responded. It seemed like she was preoccupied with something for a short moment, but it seemed to vanish after a short while. Ivory though did seem changed. Whether this was due to the rings or something else though, Smiles could not tell exactly. She noticed her food, and seemed greatful for it as well.
He had planned on asking Ivory about how the third trial had gone, but he figured her eating was slightly more important. Especially since they would be leaving at any moment. Reaching down in his pocket, Smiles brought out his cell phone. He checked the time and then placed it back. They had a few more minutes, but Skull would probably be arriving at any moment no doubt.
Inside Ivory's head, Artemis could feel Ivory's response to his feeling. This really hadn't been what he was looking forward too. He hadn't even known exactly what the angel had specifically meant until it was too late. How things always seemed to happen that way.
"Well eat up we don't have much time." Smiles said from across the table. Artemis didn't really know what to think of the man. He seemed slightly different then what Artemis had been used too. Artemis, being an assassin, was good at reading people. He had a natural gift with just that. But Smiles was a person he really could not read with certainty.
"You have an interesting best friend then." Artemis said inside Ivory's head. It made sense why the angel would put Artemis inside Ivory though. When he had been alive, he was the top assassin in the universe. Ivory herself seemed to be training to do just that as well.
Through Ivory's ears, Artemis heard the sound of a door opening in the distance. As it did a very strange man.... no nor man, not even human, entered. He wore a human body, that much was for sure, but this man was something very different then human. Skull, upon entering and seeing Ivory, said, "So this is the one we have been waiting for. Good of her to finally make an appearance then."
Skull was dressed the exact same way as he had been before. As he came closer to Ivory, Artemis couldn't help but feel the menace that came off the man. Through Artemis, Ivory would be able to feel it too. This thing was not good at all. If Artemis could describe what he felt, it could only be compared to complete chaos. Whatever this thing was, it was nothing good.
Smiles reaction to Skull's entrance though was very much the same as would be though. He greeted Skull with a smile, and even seemed to shrug off the fissure's comment. "Yes. We'll be ready to go in just a few moments."
Voice muffled, Skull responded. "Good. Then just remember what I ask. You two simply stay out of my way. Watch if you must, as your master has asked, but do not interfere."
Smiles nodded. He had no problem with staying out of Skull's way. He was much more interested in watching the creature anyway.

(OOC: That's fine,I'll be gone from Monday til Thursday anyway. ._.; Surprise vacation.) Ivory hoped that Smiles wouldn't ask her immediately what had taken place. She was busy trying to get over it herself as to what had taken place. No doubt, this was going to be a very very awkward experience. Why couldn't the other soul that got stuck in her head be a girl? On top of it, how the heck was she going to get this other soul out of her head? What would happen to them? So many questions whirled through her head that she guessed it was best to suffice with just dealing with the present right now and worry about them later.
Hearing Smiles, she gave a nod to show she acknowledged what he was saying. As she sat there and ate what tasted like some sort of carrot, Ivory heard Artemis in her mind state that she had an interesting best friend. Whether or not he meant insult, she didn't know. Instead, she just simply resumed eating. At first, it wasn't easy. Her stomach had felt rather queasy considering what she had found out. After the first few bites though, her hunger seemed to win over the feeling of nausea. No doubt, she had been in that dimension for a while to make her this ravenous.
The sound of a door opening caught her attention. Carefully, Ivory lifted her gaze from the tray of food towards the figure that had just come in. Standing there, she found none other than Skull standing before them. Hearing his muffled voice, Ivory wondered what the fissure had been thinking. A feeling of unease swept over her as she watched the fissure leader approach. She didn't need Artemis's feelings to make her be aware of the feeling Skull was giving off. The fissures disturbed her already as it is. Seeing the leader of them, well she was definitely uneasy with him. With their combined feelings, Ivory felt as if her heart were going to leap right out of her throat.
Still, she tried to finish what she was eating as she kept her gaze on Skull. No doubt, the thing wasn't happy. In fact, the remark sounded rather snide but she made no response. Being a loud mouth would only get her into worse trouble than a snide comment from it. Besides, she didn't know what Skull was capable of just yet. Seeming to ignore the snide comment, Smiles simply replied stating that they'd be ready in just a few moments. With Skull here, she wasn't exactly sure if she could finish eating right now.
Ivory listened to Skull's response. Apparently, he wanted them to not interfere in what he was going to do once they went to the Enchanted Dominion. They could stand by and watch but no more than that. The way Skull spoke, Ivory could just see the arrogance oozing off of him but she refrained from letting it show that she could see it. On top of it, she could feel a certain menace behind his words. Skull obviously meant business and if they did get in the way, she knew that it would result in death. Ivory had no intentions of getting in Skull's way either. Like it or not, the fissure was an ally for now. She would stand back and let it do what it wanted so long as it didn't try to do her any harm or her friend. She was a bit grateful that, for now, Artemis chose to be silent. Judging by what feelings she could pick up from him, it was alarm and caution. Did he know what Skull was? Also, could Skull sense Artemis's presence?
Swallowing her last bit of food that she could stomach, Ivory gave a nod to show that she would abide by it. All the while, she kept her gaze on Skull. Whenever one of them was in the room, she would not take her gaze off of them. Why? Well, she always suspected the things of dropping their human husks for another human host. Who could blame her?
"We won't get in your way, sir."

Skull glanced down to Ivory upon her response. His eyes seemed to suggest that he wanted to say something, but he said nothing to her. Smiles watched Skull walk over to the rings once again. He gazed upon them eyes narrowed. Smiles couldn't understand what the fissure found so interesting about it. Especially since he was in a hurry.
After Ivory seemed to be finished with her meal, Skull walked over. Smiles had not said anything to her, simply letting her finish instead. Artemis on the other hand had spoken to Ivory. "Just what are we going to be doing exactly? What are you assassinating?"
"Let us leave then." Skull stretched out his hand and summoned a corridor of darkness before them.
"Just leave that there. We'll get it when we get back." Skull walked past them and into the corridor of darkness. Smiles followed next. The corridor would close upon Ivory's entering it.

As Ivory remained in place, she blinked up at Skull. She could sense he was looking at her and she wasn't unwise to look back over at him curiously. She was cautious though. If she had said anything to anger him, it wasn't intentional. She was merely showing that she had gotten his message and would not step in his way. Wasn't that enough for now? It really looked as though he had wanted to say something to her but did not. Instead, he turned his gaze away and headed right towards the rings and focused on them. Had he sensed what happened to her? Why was he so interested in the rings?
Ivory just politely watched him walk over to them and stare at them. She had the nasty feeling if she dared to try go through the final ring again, that she'd only make herself look like a fool trying to step through it. For some reason, whatever happened felt like it had been finalized. She would have to figure out how to get Artemis into his own body some other way. How, she hadn't a clue but she knew it wouldn't be easy. Until then, she was going to have to put up with the fact that there was a young man inside of her head as well. No doubt, the most awkward experience in her life but it couldn't be helped right now. Much had to be done and she couldn't tarry.
When she had finished, Ivory had pulled herself up onto her feet. What exhaustion she had known in that trial seemed to have been lifted from her. In fact, it felt as if she had never gone through a long maze, fighting for her life. She glanced over at Smiles and Skull. Skull had taken notice that she was done and walked over. Now, they would be heading out. Ivory didn't need for Smiles to tell her otherwise although she was admittedly surprised that it was already time to set out. She didn't think she had taken that long to leave the dimension of the final trial.
Ivory had heard Artemis's questions but refrained from answering for the time being as she watched Skull. He wanted for them to leave now. She watched as the leader of the fissures opened up a portal of darkness. It was left open for them to enter. Smiles spoke to her afterward, saying that she could leave the tray here since they would get it when they got back. Honestly, Ivory wasn't sure if they'd be coming back but she kept that one to herself for now as she gave him a nod.
"Alright." She watched as he headed in, fearlessly, right after Skull into that corridor of darkness. Ivory glanced at it questionably. Still, for now, Skull had no reason to do them harm. If he were going to do anything to them, right now was not the time for it. Focusing her attention back onto Artemis in her head, she mentally answered him. 'We are going on a mission assigned to us by our leader, Snake. We are a committee or organization, if you will, with the purpose of eliminating keyblade warriors of any shape or size. They believe that by eliminating keyblade warriors that they will be able to stop whatever destruction that keybladers seem to attract. As for what we will be assassinating, or rather attempting to assassinate, will be a keyblade master this time around. Skull, that intimidating man you saw that I'm sure you know is not a man, claims that he knows how to get us into the keyblade master's headquarters.' With that long explanation in her mind, Ivory headed towards the corridor. Well, no sense in lingering as she stepped through, following Smiles's and Skull's lead.[/blockquote]

Artemis listened to what Ivory had to say. It was interesting to hear that Ivory was in an organization involved with killing keybladers. Especially since he had first started off by working for one. What Ivory said was partially right, at least this was Artemis's opinion. They keyblade warriors did bring destruction and darkness. Their keyblades gathered the heartless and nobodies to them by their vary nature.
But during his years of life, and running into and making his own friends, he had come to the realization that it is the person that makes the destruction. There are two sides to every coin and keybladers are no different. That was simply Artemis's opinion, and he was aware that it did not mean that Ivory would share it.
"I see... But what do you believe Ivory? The road of an assassin is not an easy one. It will not be easy to continue what you are doing. Eventually you will run into a mission where you will have to make a choice. Do you follow your organization, or follow your heart? I faced that same trial, and eventually all assassins must.""
Artemis would have said more, but there was no time because Ivory walked through the portal. He would sit by and watch through her eyes as things played out.
((OOC: you can either post once more and then lock it, or lock it now. I'll create a new thread in the Enchanted Domain. We'll start with White and Darius 2 days before the arrival of Smiles, Ivory, and Skull. Sound good?))

(OOC: Sounds good to me! Once I make this post, I'll lock it and move it for us.) Ivory wasn't sure how Artemis would take what she said. She answered him truthfully. There really wasn't any way that she could hide a lie from someone that right now shared the same body and could sense her thoughts and feelings anyway. It was the most awkward connection she had with anybody but she had no choice but to deal with it right now.
Before Ivory could step into the portal, she gave pause as Artemis spoke to her in her mind. What did she believe in? Well, she hadn't really met many keybladers in her lifetime. She had only encountered two of them. One had almost killed her dragon friend, Anubis and the other she had to kill or she would've been killed. She didn't know what consequences had happened in that world. If she had known, she would've felt worse about it.
As she listened to what Artemis was telling her, she couldn't help but compare him to a form of a conscience with the way he was speaking to her. Did something out there think it necessary to give her a conscience? Oh well, not like she could do anything about it anyway. Admittedly, she was surprised to hear that Artemis had faced a trial like that. The implications were heavy here. Artemis was an assassin at one point? Well, that explained his warrior look back in the maze when she had spotted him.
'I don't know...' she replied before stepping into the portal. She could converse with Artemis more if he wanted once the assignment was over. If he were an assassin, he'd know to just observe what's going on and hopefully not distract her during it. Right now, they'd be only observing Skull so Ivory didn't think there would be much trouble but after her training with Smiles, she learned to always expect the unexpected.
