White at first just blinked like he had not heard a word Lance had just said. And indeed it could likely have been that way, but in reality it was just taking White some time to process it. "Well alright." White said with a hiccup. He was starting to feel a bit of a stomach ache anyway. And besides even though they had taken his three hundred, he had a couple hundred more.
As they made their way back, White did his best to walk straight. It was kind of hard though because to White the road kept tilting this way and that. "I think they need to redo these streets and make them flat." White commented as they made their way to the front gates. It was a good thing that the tavern was really close to the castle.
The gates pretty much opened for them the moment they came up to it. The centaur who had waved them through before was still manning the gate. When they reached inside the palace though, White noticed a side path that ventured off the main path that went on the other side of the castle. To him it seemed to lead to a garden. "Oooo I want to go see the pretty flowers!" And just as White had been going along nice and easy, he ran off in a sprint before Lance could catch him.
He followed the path as it wove to the side of the castle and into a large garden with hung over trees, various different plants, and a fountain. White saw the water and decided now was a good time to go swimming. He did not see the woman, perhaps around the same age as White and Lance, dressed in an exquisite gown sitting on the two foot stone ring that held the water in. With long blond hair, sharp green eyes, and dressed in a red sleeveless gown with a golden necklace around her neck, her black eye shadow was stained from tears.
Of course White noticed none of that as he tackled her into the pool. Even though she was very pretty, it was not the reason he had done so. He just saw the water and wanted to go for a dip.

Lance watched White carefully for a response. Hopefully, he wasn't so drunk that Lance's words wouldn't reach him. After taking a moment to process it, seemingly, White finally relented. Lance couldn't help but give a sigh of relief when he agreed to it. "Alright, let's head back to the suite. I think we've had enough for tonight." With that, they began heading back to the gates leading to the castle. Lance was relieved that he had arrive din time to help White when he did. This might be the last time Lance would take White to a tavern...or might be the one of many times where Lance would end up watching White whenever he went to a tavern.
As they were walking, Lance made his armor go away after checking to make sure the guys with the knives hadn't decided to try and follow them. Looking over at White, making sure that he didn't stray from their way, Lance couldn't help but mentally chuckle at White's weaving around. Whatever he said about the roads was also golden, Lance had to stifle a laugh. White did drive him nuts tonight but Lance understood it had been because White was drunk. People did a lot of crazy things when they were drunk.
The centaur that was guarding the gate allowed them to enter as soon as he saw them. They didn't even have to speak for him to permit their entry. "Thank you, sir." With that, they were finally in the castle's courtyard. If Lance thought their troubles were over, they had yet to get worse. Without warning, White went off about pretty flowers and took off at a run. Not having expected this, Lance turned to where White was running off to.
Since White had moved so fast, Lance didn't have time to react except see where he was going. "Damn it, White! You're going to be the death of me!" he growled after him. Not hesitating any further, Lance hurried after his friend. It would be some time though before he would be able to locate White. As he headed toward the path White went down, he had to pause and look around to try and see if White was anywhere nearby. Just where had he gone? Did he go down the path or had he turned off somewhere?
"White!" he called but no one answered. Then, somewhere farther down the path, he heard a great splash! "Oh no!" Lance muttered, facing where he believed the source of the sound had come. If White decided to leap into the water, there was a chance he could end up drowning! So thus, Lance went running down the path, he'd probably arrive just a moment after both unexpected water crashers recovered.

A loud shrill sounded in the air as White tackled the girl in the water. However the moment White hit it, he found out that it was indeed only two feet deep. Not only that but he had landed on something squishy. It was a moment later when White found himself being thrown to the side.
Glancing up White just had time to see a soaked woman with fury written all over her face with her legs straddled around White's waist and her hands on his shoulders. Before he could say anything she ducked his head under water. White, being drunk and all, could do nothing but watch. White heard many muffled profanities aimed at him and his family, though White thought that odd since he didn't have a family.
White opened his mouth to tell the girl with the watery face that she was pretty, but instead water poured in. That was when White realized he was beginning to choke. It was at about that time that Lance most likely showed up, for the pressure on White was lifted and he sprouted up. Seeing Lance standing by the pool White wore the biggest smile. "Look Lance I caught a mermaid!"
An "ugh" sound came from the girl on top of him, and White found his head being ducked into the water. This time he just didn't sit there he popped his head up again. However what he saw made him stop. Twelve centaurs dressed in armor had surrounded the pool and all of them had their spears pointed at White and Lance.
The one closest to Lance turned to the pretty woman. "Princess are you alright?" The woman stood up and kicked White in the groin which caused him to fall back in pain. She picked up a small golden tiara that had been knocked form her head when she was tackled.
"Just peachy." She responded to the centaur.

By the time Lance had reached where he had heard the splash, he found White submerged in a two foot deep fountain with a girl. Confused, Lance had come over wondering what had just happened. It was clear the girl wasn't happy at all with White. At first, she had seemed busy trying to drown him. By the time Lance had arrived, she seemed less intent on doing that. White,in his drunken state of mind, had just announced to him that he had found a mermaid. Blinking, Lance brought a palm to his face and sighed with exasperation. "White!"
No doubt, what White had said had only angered the woman further and she dunked White's head in the water again. Things went like this for a moment longer before Lance dared to approached the edge. White had resurfaced without a problem but he had stopped. The look on his face made Lance aware of what was behind him. As he turned around, Lance found himself looking at twelve centaurs with spears. Lance couldn't help but allow his eyes to widen at the sight.
"We're...in so much trouble!" he said to White at that very moment. He didn't move a muscle as the girl got up when they addressed her, kicking White in the groin as she went. The fact she was a princess just made matters one hundred times worse. They were so dead!
"I-I'm sorry for my friend's actions, he's drunk!" Lance apologized. Really, there was nothing else that he could do here. He made no sudden movements, careful to remain rooted to the spot lest he get poked somewhere vital.

White was too busy with pain to hear much of what was happening outside the fountain. The lead centaur, if he heard Lance, did not acknowledge what he said. He did though say this. "It is an offense to attack any member of the higher court let alone a member of the royal family."
The princess stepped out of the pond and looked over to Lance. She looked back at White, who was finally beginning to hear things again, and then made her way over to the centaur. "I really didn't need your help Tyron. I can take care of myself."
"I understand that your majesty, but we heard the scream and came running. What were you doing out here at such an hour?" The lead centaur asked.
The girl's eyes narrowed. "What I do with my time is none of your business or my fathers. But if you must know I just wanted some alone time.... This hasn't been an easy day for me. And now I'm soaked!" Now she turned her attention back to White.
White had made it out of the fountain and was standing right next to a spear point that was practically touching him. A smile crosses his face as he touched it. "Ooo shiny!" He said.
The lead centaur ignored White. "Should we throw them in the dungeons?"
The princess shook her head. "No. Bring them to father." The lead centaur nodded then turned to his other soldiers.
"Alright men. Grab the prisoners, were taking them to his majesty." Upon hearing this, White turned to Lance with the biggest smile on his face. If he didn't know any better it looked like White was as little kid who was just told he won a month supply of free candy.
"Hear that Lance?! Were going to meet a king!"

Lance felt as if his stomach had just been filled with lead as he heard what the centaur had said. White had really landed them into quite a pickle with this one. Whether it would extend to Arya and Darius, he didn't know but it was pretty certain that despite his apology that this wasn't going to save them. Slowly, Lance rose his arms in a surrender gesture. He saw the princess glance between them before looking back over at the centaur.
The centaur's name was Tyron and from what the princess said, she could handle herself. That was a curious behavior, in Lance's opinion for a princess. Why did the centaurs and her father caring about her so much seemed to ignite spite in her words? Despite the venom, Lance couldn't help but worry about their situation. This was not at all a good thing. The princess was having a hard time as it was and White had only made it worse. Just how were they going to get out of this one?
Mentally, Lance was cursing White's drunken mind. Why did he have to go and push the girl into the fountain? Just what the heck was he doing anyway? Before he knew it, White was out of the fountain and was now poking a spear tip, calling it shiny. At this, Lance gave an exasperate sigh, shaking his head at him.
When Tyron spoke, Lance felt a nasty feeling in his gut again at the mention of dungeons. The princess merely shook her head before telling them to bring them to the king, her father. Lance wasn't sure how the heck this was going to go as Tyron turned to the other centaurs, ordering them to grab White and Lance. All he could do was stand there as White and he were approached by the centaurs and grabbed. Lance made no resistance. Such an attempt would only make it seem as if they really had intended to do the princess harm. That and Lance was certain fighting a lot of centaurs would be a very bad idea.
White's reaction wasn't helping them any. Lance gave another sigh of exasperation when White had the look of a child that was just told Christmas had come early. "Yes, White...we're going to meet a king!" he said with a sigh. If only White understood what they were going in for then maybe he'd be more worried about their predicament as much as Lance was here.

White, being drunk, was about as much of a problem for the centaurs as he was for Lance. And that meant that every so often he saw something and tried to break away. At first one of the centaurs chased after him then dragged him back. The next time he did it as they made their way through the castle halls, the princess herself grabbed him by his collar before he could run out of her grasp.
Finally everyone had enough of White, and that was how he ended up on the centaur's back strapped by rope as they entered the royal chambers. They were greeted by a slightly older man who looked very confused. "Princess? Sir Tyron? Why are you here?"
The princess stepped forward. "Sir Michal wake father please." Sir Michal looked like waking the king was the least thing he wanted to do.
"Leliana I don't think that is the smartest thing to do. Your parent's just got to sleep and the funeral is tomorrow. You should be in your bed too princess."
The Princess, whose name was Leliana it seemed, stomped her foot down. "I've just been assaulted damn it! Now wake father!"
Sir Michal sighed but nonetheless walked out of the royal chambers and into a side door. A few moments later a man appeared. He was dressed in robbed pajamas and appeared to be in his fifties. He had a bald head and the same eyes as his daughter. "What is the meaning of this? Leliana? What is this I hear about being assaulted."
The princess stepped forward. "This man tackled me into the fountain and fondled my breasts!"
White, who had been too drunk and dumbfounded by everything that was happening definitely got that. He turned to Lance with a smile and spoke loud enough that even the king could hear. "Hear that Lance. I got lucky."
The princess turned about and pointed a finger at White. "See!" The king, who was actually rubbing the sleep for his eyes, glanced over to White and Lance.
"This really could have probably waited till morning. Who are you? Why are you in my castle? I realize your friend is drunk, and I don't need an explanation for that. But I would like to know why I'm even awake in the first place. Why were you let in the castle grounds? You are not servants and I know of no new recruits in the army."

As they went, Lance sighed to himself all the more along the way. Being drunk out of his mind, Lance vowed to himself that he was never going to let White drink that much again. He was such a hazard it wasn't even funny! No matter what the centaurs did, White was just as much of a problem for them as he had been for Lance. Well, at least they'd understand a bit better that White was definitely drunk. Eventually, they all had to resort to strapping White to the back of a centaur, everyone just having had enough of him.
By the time they made it to the royal chambers, Lance was almost convinced that maybe this would be a misunderstanding and would be cleared up. At least, that's what he was hoping for. Coming into the royal chambers, they stopped before a man just a bit older than they were. Seeing them all, he appeared to be confused and inquired the princess and Tyron about it.
The princess spoke, requesting that this man, Sir Michal, woke her father. The look on his face, however, made it clear that this wasn't what he wished to do. He tried to dissuade her but Princess Leliana wasn't going to hear it. Stomping her foot, she demanded he go and get her father now since she had just been assaulted. Hearing this, Lance couldn't help but feel like his heart would give out. Lance knew that they had both been submerged in water but he hadn't been able to tell what had happened exactly to have caused them to be in the water.
Doing as the princess had asked, Lance felt like he was going to be sick as the king finally arrived. He was in his fifties, bald and had the same eye color as the princess. Hearing his question, Lance felt like he was going to faint as the princess answered him. Did White seriously do that? Well, fondling a girl's breasts, after the tavern thing, Lance did wonder if that was something he'd intentionally do. Maybe not. Lance didn't know White well enough but the fact he had kept grabbing hold of the waitress's hand in the tavern and even going as far as pulling her into his lap had to make him wonder. As for tackling a woman, Lance couldn't see White doing that on purpose without being provoked first.
What White said next though really did make Lance feel as if his heart had just stopped. Turning his head towards him, Lance sighed in exasperation again, bringing a palm to his face and shaking his head in frustration at him. "We're so dead!" It was then that the king turned his attention on White and Lance. Uncertainly, Lance peered back at the tired looking king. This was a very bad situation, indeed. He was asking them a series of questions.
"Truly, I am sorry for this, your majesty. My name is Lance Wilder and my drunk friend here is White Lotus." As for the castle inquiries, this was going to be a far nastier one to answer but Lance couldn't lie. Lying would probably just get them into a much worse situation than before.
"The reason to why we're here is because my friends and I had come along with Sir Joffery to bring back Lady Silvia to you, your majesties. We were given two suites and after the time we spent speaking with Master Jasper, we were hungry. We went to find the kitchens, but we were unfortunate in that they hadn't been serving at the time and were told that we could go to the tavern to get some food. My friend here, as you can see, got himself drunk out of his mind while we were there. I have been trying to get him back to the suite so he'll stop being a danger to himself and those around him. He got away before I could catch him by the time we got into the courtyards and well...he then encountered Princess Leliana along the way and you know the rest. I don't think he intentionally did what he did, your highness, and I'm sorry for what had happened to your daughter. If I had been there sooner, I would've been able to stop him."
If they were to experience the wrath of the royals, Lance guessed that they were now all in a load of trouble. He couldn't lie though for if he did, he felt this man would know. That and lying about something would only get one's self into a tighter pickle. It was best to come clean while they could. Hopefully, they weren't about to be killed or anything.
--------------------------------------------
Darius frowned to himself. White was pretty quiet tonight. He thought he would've at least heard his friend making loud noises on the other side of the wall to purposely keep Darius and Arya awake.
"Maybe he passed out early?"

Darius had every reason to wonder why things were so quiet next door. If he only knew what kind of trouble White had gotten them into, he would have been shocked. White, being as drunk as he was and still strapped to the centaur, tried to pipe in after Lance had finished. "Mr. Long Beard man said we could come to the funeral tomorrow. So we decided to have some fun before that." He said with a hiccup.
The king shook his head at White and glanced back to Sir Michal. "Fetch Master Jasper. He can confirm their story or not." Sir Michal bowed and retreated.
White was busy glancing at the princess because he could see the outline of her underwear under the wet gown she wore. "I see London I see France. I see a pretty girl's underpants!" White let out a series of laughs.
The king, now taking the time to look at his daughter rolled his eyes. "Go get changed dear. Your exposed for the world to see in this light." The princess's face went red and a look of vile was aimed at White. He didn't seem to care though he was busy laughing again.
It didn't take too long before the Princess returned and then Master Jasper. Like the kind he was dressed in a robe and wore a sleeping cap on his head. "Jonas. Sir Michal explained what happened on the way over."
The king nodded. "Then do you vouch for these two."
Master Jasper sighed. "Yes. These are two of the five I met earlier today. I should have told them to stay out of the palace grounds. That is my fault."
The king just waved a hand in dismissal, "It's fine old friend. But now what should I do with you."
Princess Leliana, who had returned in a blue night gown, spoke up. "You should at least throw the drunk one out of the castle."
The king shook his head. "These are Master Jasper's guests, and they returned your sister to us. However I cannot let this go unpunished. For it is a crime to fondle my daughter." The king's eyes accusingly went to White. "Alright this is what we will do. Sir Tyron. They are to be locked in the dungeons until the funeral tomorrow. Then, once sober and after the funeral, I would like you to come back here with you and the rest of your party. I wish to know just what is going on and in what nature did my daughter die."
Master Jasper nodded while Princess Leliana just crossed her arms. White couldn't stop looking at her with a smile that meant he wanted to do more then just look. Her face was getting angrier by the second. Thankfully they were save by Sir Tyron. "Alright then men. Take them to the jail for the night." The centaur's nodded and like that they were leaving the royal chamber.

Lance gave a sigh when White spoke up. "Never before did I think I'd meet someone ten times worse than Brayden!" he grumbled to himself. The king just shook his head before speaking to Sir Michal again, informing him to go and fetch Master Jasper. Great, now they were waking up more people tonight. What a way to make a first impression in this kingdom!
While they waited, White decided to be drunk White again. In a sing-song voice, he mentioned seeing a girl's underpants. Lance blinked as he glanced over at White, frowning. "White!" he growled but couldn't do anything about it. It was no use though, White was too busy laughing at the princess. No doubt, once this night was through, she'd hate their group all the more.
The king seemed to have investigated what White had been saying and discovered that what White had said was true. Princess Leliana was definitely showing through if the king had to say that. Thus, the princess left but not without giving White a nasty look. By the time she returned, Master Jasper arrived on the scene with Sir Mchal. He had been told along the way what had been happening. It was then that the king asked if the old man could vouch for them.
It was a lucky thing that Master Jasper had. Lance was worried the old man wouldn't remember them. Now, the subject turned to what they were going to do with them. What happened to the princess wasn't something the king could allow to go unpunished. The princess made it clear that White should at least be thrown out. However, the king wasn't going to have that since they had been a part of the group that had brought Lady Silvia here.
However, he had to do something. Lance looked back at the old king, wondering what he was going to do with them. Sure enough, he sentenced them to a night in the dungeons. Obviously when he was saying this that his accusation was on White and not Lance. Still, Lance had to wonder why he was pitted with him. Instead, Lance chose to remain silent. He didn't like that he would be imprisoned as well for what White had done but he wasn't going to complain either. It was just for one night and it was kind of the king to make it that small of a punishment. It was reasonable.
Lance gave an understanding nod to show that he would agree to the terms without question. It was best to accept them and not get into worse trouble by putting up a fuss. As he glanced over at White, Lance noticed the look his was giving the princess and sighed. Thankfully, the centaurs started moving them out before worse could be done. Once they were out of this mess, Lance might just thwack White on the back of the head like he did many times to Brayden.

If White knew just how angry Lance was, he might have reason to be scared. However his mind was far from it. In fact, as the centaurs led them down the halls, he fell asleep on the centaurs back. Hearing the sound of small snores, the centaurs all looked to breathe a little easier. At least now they didn't have to worry about him running off.
The centaurs led them right to the dungeons. They were located a floor below the main floor. For the most part they remained unoccupied, and guarded by a single centaur jailer. The cells were big enough for two of the centaurs to wield their spears and not have to worry about striking one another if they had too.
White was placed in one cell and Lance the one next to him. There were no walls, just steel poles surrounding them in a box. Inside Lance would find no bed, but there was a chamber pot and a stack of hay to sleep on. The centaur who had carried White literally tossed him on the hay. White didn't even notice as he remained asleep.
The rest of the centaurs left, leaving only Sir Tyron. He glanced over at White and then to Lance. "I will come in the morning about an hour before the service. That way you can clean yourselfs up and get ready. Good night." The centaur gave Lance a solute, more out of respect for putting up with White the whole night rather then because he was some sort of warrior.
No doubt Lance would have many words to say to White in the morning, but for now it was time for the castle to sleep.

Lance walked in silence as they were lead to the dungeons. On their way through the halls, White had already fallen asleep. Considering how drunk he was, Lance wasn't surprised. All of them seemed to be breathing much easier now knowing that White was asleep. He had been quite a hazard to everyone's health and nerves tonight being as drunk as he was. By the time they made it to the dungeons, Lance walked into his cell without having to be told or forced to.
He stood back, letting the centaurs lock him in his cell and watched as they simply tossed White onto the hay that was there for troublemakers to sleep on. White didn't even notice the rough landing, simply slumbering on. Once that was done, the centaurs started filing out. The only one that had remained was the leader, Tyron. Lance looked back over at him curiously as he spoke.
As Sir Tyron spoke, Lance gave an incline of his head. "Thank you, sir." Lance returned the salute before turning towards the area he was in. Sitting on the cobbled floor, Lance gave a sigh as he glanced towards where White was sleeping rather soundly. He furrowed his brows with frustration. Oh, he had quite an ear full for White in the morning that would be accompanied by his trademark thwacks to the back of his head.
It took him a good while before he found himself drifting asleep. He didn't bother using the hay or going anywhere near the chamber pot as he laid down on the floor.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Darius woke bright and early, stretching pleasantly. It hadn't been that long of a while since he enjoyed a good night's rest considering their trip in Land of Dragons but it was always nice to wake up in a warm, comfy bed. He had no idea what White and Lance were doing as he got out of the bed and got dressed. Once that was settled, doing a brief brush of his hair, he headed out of the room.
"Whew, that was a good sleep." Whether or not someone else heard him remained yet to be seen.

Arya had awoken around the same time as Darius. However she had gotten right out of bed and went to the kitchen. She wanted to make breakfast for everyone, so by the time Darius came out of his room she had the table set with four forks, plates, knives and napkins. In addition was the food of course. A piece of buttered toast on everyone's plate with a pan of shredded hash browns in one large pan and a cheese omlete in another.
Standing she heard Darius talk about having a good sleep. "I managed to do the same as well. I hope you don't mind I went to the liberty to make food for everyone. I haven't woken Lance and White yet though, but I'm sure we can go and wake them up." She said to Darius with a smile.
Going ahead, she indicated for Darius to follow with a bob of her head as she left the suite. Standing before White and Lance's door she pounded on it. "You guys wake up!" Shouting she waited for an answer. When none came she tried the handle. It was locked of course. Well Arya wasn't going to let the lock get in their way.
Summoning a brief ball of dark energy she shot it into the door handle. It disappeared into the handle. This time when she tried the handle it turned and she opened it. "I made breakfast! Wake up you dorks. Darius you take that door I'll take this one." Pointing to the adjacent room door from her, she headed into the one nearest her. She was confused to see the beds were empty.
Coming out of the room she looked at Darius. "No one's there..."
-------------------------
White woke up with a splicing headache. It felt as if someone had taken a sword and stabbed his forehead with it. Not only that but his back felt as if needles were stabbing it. Blinking and glancing around, White looked around in slight confusion. Just where was he? Seeing strange bars around him he'd swear he was in jail of some kind.
But why would he be in a... White's thoughts were interrupted by the sudden verge to vomit. Seeing the bucket near him he ran over to it and vomited. He felt absolutely terrible. His stomach made him puke once more before he finally straightened up. The light coming in from the window behind him made his eyes hurt as well.
The last thing he remembered was being in a tavern. Then his memory sort of got hazy. He remembered something about a mermaid, a bunch of centaurs, and Master Jasper and a king. But that couldn't have really happened could it. White turned to the adjacent cell to see Lance sleeping in it. Then he noticed a centaur on the other side of the bars in armor.
"Oh shit." Just what did he do?

The moment Darius stepped into the main area of the suite, he saw that Arya had beaten him to the room. Already, she had set up breakfast and by the looks of it, she intended for everyone to join in this morning. Not that Darius minded. He liked the idea of them all eating together. "Wow, thank you, Arya. That's very kind of you. Glad you had a good rest too." When she said that they could wake up Lance and White now, Darius gave a nod.
Following Arya's lead out of their suite, Darius wondered if the two were already awake somehow. He watched as Arya took the reigns and pretty much slammed on their suite's door, yelling for them to wake up. The two of them waited a moment. No one appeared to be coming to answer the door. Thus, Arya's next move was to try the door handle. As expected, the door was locked. However, Arya had other means of getting into a room despite it being locked.
Darius watched as Arya used magic to open the door. Before long, they entered the suite's main room but neither of the guys appeared to be there. Were they hiding or were they that good when it came to staying asleep? "Come on, guys! Wake up!" he called, a bit frustrated with their antics. He didn't think Lance would be like this but apparently, he and White were in cahoots it seemed. Before long, Arya decided to search the rooms.
"Got it!" Darius answered her as he went through the door she indicated. "Come-...on?" Darius said uncertainly. No one was anywhere to be found in the room here. Did that mean they were in the other one? Turning and heading out, he met Arya there. It was obvious by the look on her face that no one was in the other room either. This confused Darius greatly.
"No one's in the other room either. Just where could they have gone so early? Or were they even in the suite last night?"
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Lance had a hard time getting to sleep when he had. By the time morning came, Lance only had a handful of hours of sleep. He wasn't even aware that morning had come as he slept. For White's sake, he'd better not try to wake him and remind him that they had gotten in here in the first place because of him. Lance would probably go off in a long lecture like he did with Brayden and then once they'd be set free, he'd probably smack him on the back of the head like he did to Brayden. White had really driven them all close to insane last night with all of his antics. Lance was jut glad the king allowed them to live and let them off with this short and easier punishment. If they hadn't been friends with Master Jasper, Sir Joffery or Lady Silvia, their situation could have been far worse.
Rolling over, Lance grumbled a bit in pain. His body was stiff and sore from sleeping on the hard floor. After a moment, the soreness went away as he sat still but after moving once, he felt the need to move again. Unfortunately, just moving like he did was enough to start waking him since it had been so difficult getting to sleep and now it was difficult keeping sleep.
Eventually, Lance opened his eyes. At first, he wasn't able to really see anything before blinking a few times. When his vision cleared, he almost sat bolt upright as he tried to remember how he had gotten there and why he wasn't back home. When he remembered that he had gone along with Darius and White, he soon remembered how he wound up here. Frowning to himself, not aware that White was awake since he had missed his friend's curse just moments ago, Lance sat up.
He was tired and his head felt as if it were swimming a little, his head having a dull throb run through it now and then. Not a fun way to wake up, that was for sure.

Arya shared a surprised look with Darius. Just where were those two? "I don't take White for the type to have the habit of waking up early." Arya had the feeling that they had gotten into some sort of trouble. It would just be like White to do that.
When Darius asked the question of did they even return here, Arya could only shrug. She honestly had no clue as to where they were. "Well let's just go eat. I don't see the point in waiting for them then. I'm sure they're alright."
----------------------------
White had the urge to throw up again. He fought it though. Instead he looked further around the room. Seeing Lance slowly wake up, White noticed that he was locked in some kind of cell. So it made sense that White had been locked in a cell with him. Just what did he do?
Thinking really hard, slowly everything started coming back to him. The tavern, running into the princess, the king. Oh jeez he had awoken a king! If there was one thing you never wanted to do was wake a sleeping king. The urge to puke came to great and White scattered over to the pot to heave his insides yet again.
White didn't really know how he should play it with Lance. He decided to try the funny route since he was awake. "Well.... that was a fun night." White said sarcastically.

Darius looked back at Arya as she stated that she didn't take White for someone that would wake early in the morning of his own volition. "Hm, maybe. He sometimes surprises me by waking up first." As they stood there, Darius could only wonder where the other two were. Had they somehow gotten themselves into trouble the night before? If so, just what did they do? Darius hoped that whatever trouble the other two had caused, well, probably more so on White's part knowing White, that it wouldn't extend to them. Hopefully, they were alright, wherever they were.
When Arya spoke up, Darius gave a nod. "Yeah, no use standing around. We'll figure out where they are eventually." Returning with Arya to their suite, the two would eat their breakfast without the other two for now.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Lance slowly looked at his surroundings. Moving, his neck was rather sore. After lying so stiffly, it wasn't a wonder that he'd be feeling so sore this morning. As he sat there, he mentally cursed their predicament. He wanted to get out of this cell already and be done with it all. For the time being, it was quiet and Lance appreciated that fact. After the events of last night, he could do without too much action packed into one day like that again. White had almost gotten them killed.
Speaking of White, he would've been wise just to be quiet. Hearing White's voice, Lance slowly turned his head to find him in the cell next to him. "Fun?! If you can call almost getting killed fun!" he replied, clearly not in the happiest of moods right now. The way his eyebrows were furrowed and his eyes narrowed, Lance looked rather angry.
"That's the last time I ever let you drink that much again when I'm around!" Lance growled. Apparently, after last night, he seemed to have forgotten that White wasn't Brayden. At this point though, he pretty much wouldn't really care anyways if White wasn't because he was so furious with him. White would be wise to run from him once they were released, Lance had the mind to thwack him on the back of the head like he did to his cousin when he was angry with him. Of course, nothing too hard but enough where it would smart a bit.
"You're lucky we were just put down here for one night after what you did, White."

White didn't know what to say. After everything he really didn't have a right to say everything. The fact of the matter was that Lance was completely right. He had messed up. They were lucky that they were just put down here for one night after everything he pulled. No doubt Princess.... he couldn't remember her name but he knew what she looked like, would be furious with him. Even the king.... If White was remembering right, he wanted to meet with them.
"I'm sorry." It was all he could say. He meant it too. He was still fighting the urge to puke again. He wondered just how long they were going to be here for. They were supposed to be released an hour before the ceremony began.
Well White spent the majority of that time either puking or fighting the urge too. There was not much else to do but wait. At one point the centaur's had provided them with some breakfast and water. White ignored the food but downed the water. After puking so many times he was feeling parched.
Finally after a few more hours, the captain of the centaurs from yesterday arrived. Sir Tyron glanced over at White. His eyes narrowed. "I hope to never see you down here again boy. Also the king has forbidden you from the taverns from the city. There's a poster of you in every tavern. You'll be thrown out on spot.
The centaur placed a key in the cell door and opened it. He then walked over to Lance's and unlocked it as well. "The funeral will be held in front of the castle gates. It is recommended you and your companions arrive before it begins. The main halls will be locked so please use the servant door exit."
-------------------------
Breakfast was good, as Arya thought it would be. She waited to hear something that might indicate that Lance and White had returned, but none came. Not knowing much of what else to do, Arya decided to shower. Upon showering she returned to the living room. "I thought I'd go see if I can find someone who can tell us about the funeral. Master Jasper said it was today."
Figuring Darius would probably just follow her, she went ahead. She didn't know who to ask, she passed a couple of people but they were busy carrying food or other things to rooms. Arya didn't want to bother them. Seeing two ladies in serving gear talking to each other she approached them. She caught the end of their conversation.
"Yep, thats what I heard. She was tackled right into the pool!"
The woman next to her let out a gasp. "And of course on such a sad day as well! The poor thing. They even woke the king?"
"Word is she told her father he assaulted her. They have them in the dungeons as we speak. Cassie told me she heard that it was the new guests that...." The girls voice trailed off as she eyed Arya.
Arya, who was a bit curious about what they were talking about, thought it was more important to ask about the funeral though. "We were wondering about the funeral?"
The server who had been cut off, answered Arya. "Its going to be in the courtyard in an hour my lady." She said with a curtsy. Arya felt a bit flabbergasted. She was no lady. But the fact that the servants thought she was boosted her confidence a little.
"Alright thanks." She said pausing to see if anyone else had any questions.

Lance kept a firm gaze fixed on White for a short moment when he had heard the apology. Considering what had happened, he wasn't so sure if an apology would be enough. The princess felt violated so there was no doubt there would be hatred directed at them all from her. Honestly, Lance couldn't blame her but to hate all of them may be overdoing it. She wasn't like her younger sister, Silvia, that was for sure.
After a moment, Lance took his gaze off of White and let out a sigh. It wasn't good to keep such negative thoughts pent up inside of him. Exhaling as he had done, he had been able to calm himself a little. He had said his two cents right now. If White didn't say anything more, Lance just might forget what he intended to do to him once they were out of their cells.
It had been lucky for White that he had done just that. Preoccupied with all of his vomiting, Lance was able to forget about his anger towards White for the time being. He was able to calm and patiently wait for their sentence to end. During that time, the centaurs had come and given them breakfast in which Lance had thanked them. Since he hadn't drunk a lot of alcohol the night before like White did, he was able to eat and drink just fine. He didn't even have a hang over.
It wasn't long before Sir Tyron finally came before them. Looking back over at the massive centaur, Lance listened to what he was saying. Lance really hoped that the centaurs wouldn't have to see them in a jail cell again either. Lance did not want a repeat of the night before. They might have gotten lucky with this punishment but he was pretty sure a second strike would land them into something more serious. It was to Lance's relief that the taverns would toss White back out of them only because that meant it would prevent White from getting drunk like that again.
Once he was finished informing White of what the taverns would do all around in this world, he went up to White's cell door and unlocked it. Then, once he freed White, he unlocked Lance's and set him free. He informed the two of them that the funeral would be held in front of the castle gates and that they were to arrive before it began. Lance gave an understanding nod at this. Only then did Sir Tyron tell them that they were to take the servant exit to get outside since the main halls would be locked.
"Thank you, sir. Um...sorry to ask you this but we don't know much of the castle so where would the servant exit be? Just so we don't end up wandering where we're not suppose to."
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Darius and Arya enjoyed breakfast alone again. As she had done the night before, Arya had done a wonderful job with the food. She was pretty skilled at this and for someone so young. Darius had thanked her when he had finished for the delicious meal. After that, Arya had wandered back into her room to go and shower while Darius remained in the main room of the suite. He, too, was waiting to hear something about White and Lance but nothing came.
By the time Arya had returned, she said that she might find someone to tell them about the funeral since it was today. Seeing as White and Lance were nowhere to be seen, Darius wondered if that's where the two were right now. "Alright, I'll come with you." Darius didn't even have to say it since Arya had already strode out of the room, leaving him to follow after her.
They had to have passed several people along the way but all of them appeared to be far too busy to question about the funeral. Before long, they managed to locate a pair of servants having a conversation. As they approached them, Darius and Arya were able to catch the last bit of their conversation. Someone had been tackled and that whomever it was had woken the king. Someone told their father that some guy had assaulted her and that right now, whomever it was responsible for such a thing was locked up in the dungeons now. They would've continued about something pertaining to new guests but that was when the women had finally noticed them. Trailing off, the woman who had been speaking allowed them a moment to speak. Arya took advantage of the opening and asked about the funeral.
The servant mentioned that it would be held in the courtyard within and hour. "Have you seen anyone with light blue hair or white spiky hair by any chance?" Darius asked them. He was wondering if maybe someone saw the two wandering around this morning in case they did wake up earlier than they did.

The servants shook their heads. Neither of them had seen them. Arya thanked them once more. "Thanks then." They both curtsied and watched Arya and Darius. They waited until they were out of earshot before they continued their conversation.
As Arya made her way back to their room she realized she forgot to ask how they were supposed to get there. Were they supposed to go through the main entrance to get there? And what about White and Lance. Where were they? If there was only an hour before the ceremony, Arya hoped they'd find them in time.
"I plan on giving them both a piece of my mind when I see them." Arya said to Darius. "Its not right to ditch your friends."
------------------------
The centaur glanced over to Lance. "Well if you've noticed there are two types of hall ways. The very large ones and the smaller ones. Head east or west down the smaller ones and eventually they all end at the side entrances. Its not that complicated. The hallways are basically four columns horizontally and about eight vertically. There is a side entrance in each of those."
White nodded. He was thankful for the centaur's help."I'll um... make sure to not go to the taverns." Sir Tyron, who had been on his way out, glanced over to White.
"For you sake you better not. And I'd stay clear of Princess Leliana. She wants your head on a platter. " White gulped. That did not sound too appetizing.
Sir Tyron left them in the company of the remaining centaur. "Well I guess we should head back to the rooms." White said before following Lance back. He wondered just what Lance would tell Darius and Arya as they made their way back.

Darius had inclined his head to the women when they answered him. Neither of them had seen White or Lance. The two had a distinct hair coloring so it wouldn't be too hard to spot a pair like them anywhere. It just turned out that no one had seen them, so where were they? It was a real mystery. Maybe they went to the kitchens? If they did though, people could have chanced seeing them.
"Thank you, then." With that, Arya and Darius headed all the way back to the suite. When they got there, he heard Arya state that she planned on giving them a piece of her mind and that it wasn't right to ditch their friends.
"I agree with you on that one, Arya. I can understand if White was a bit upset last night but to hold a grudge until morning like this? Come on, time to let it go!" he said.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Lance listened carefully as Sir Tyron told them what passages to take. They were to take the smaller ones. Moving east or west would eventually lead them to an exit. That was good, Lance didn't want to leave without knowing how to get to where they needed to go. It would be a foolish thing to do to get ready for something and not know where to go, especially for something as important as a funeral.
"Alright, thank you, Sir Tyron."
White, after a moment, said that he wouldn't go to the taverns. After he had said this, the centaur turned to White and said for his own sake then he would not. He also told him to stay away from Princess Leliana. Lance gave a nod at both of these things. He had no intentions of visiting any taverns himself or even interacting with the princess since she might consider him as much of a nuisance as White. He hadn't done anything to make her hate him except for being there with White but it was best to be on the safe side and give her a wide berth.
"Farewell and thank you again." Lance watched the lead centaur take his leave before looking over at White when he spoke. Hearing White's suggestion, Lance gave a nod. If he wasn't so intent on getting ready right now, he might've reverted back to being angry with him. Leading the way, Lance hoped they wouldn't encounter Darius and Arya so soon but he doubted that would be the case. Luck didn't seem to be on their side a lot lately.
By the time they made it back, Lance looked at the open door. "...Either someone busted in to steal our things or those two discovered we weren't here last night."
