Though Princess Leliana had no respect for White, she seemed to not mind Darius too much. She answer his question. "That's right. The pocket dimension of that tower can only be opened from the inside. The door is pretty resistant against any magic and has a couple runes of strength etched into it. They'd have to have the power of fifty men to break down that door."
Thinking about it, this made sense. That was why Arya had to knock on the door to get in. At first White thought it was just because they were being polite. Lance and Darius seemed pretty set on fighting on the bridge. "I'll take the tower then." White volunteered.
Princess Leliana glanced over at him, looking him up and down. White could feel himself being matched up, so he stood a bit taller. He was no weakling. "Then I shall join the rest of you on the bridge. My abilities might come in handy since our main stance should be on the bridge. You will be the last line of defense then boy." She told White.
White's eyebrows rose. Boy? They were the same age probably! "I'm strong!"[/i] White thought to himself. He was no boy, he was practically a man.
Arya seemed to agree with their plan as well. "I'll do my best to support you with my magic." She informed them.
Princess Leliana nodded giving Arya a small smile. "Then why don't you guys go gather your things and meet at the bridge. I need to prepare myself."
Seeing as Princess Leliana didn't seem to think there would be any opposition to the plan she turned away from their party and left. Watching her go, White was torn. Part of him couldn't keep his eyes off her, and part of him was pissed at the way she was treating him. "She's not even a part of our group and she's already ordering us around." White wouldn't admit it but she did have a point. "Well lets go gather are things and head to the bridge then."

Darius was mentally relieved that she seemed cooperative for now. He didn't wish for an argument. It seemed her anger was mostly directed toward White and for understandable reason. White had been drunk the night before and had embarrassed her pretty badly. As she answered his question, it was a bit relieving to hear that the pocket dimension the old man had in his tower couldn't be opened unless someone from the inside permitted those on the outside entry. Only one with the power of fifty men would be able to open that door.
"Well, that's good. Relieves me a little bit about his safety then." Of course, that didn't mean he wasn't going to defend the tower. There was still a chance they could somehow get in and that wouldn't be right to just stand by and simply allow. Darius turned to White when he said that he'd be taking the tower. Unlike Princess Leliana, Darius hadn't judged White based on appearance. He knew how White fought and he knew he could rely on his aid.
After a moment of seemingly sizing White up, Leliana finally decided that she would join the rest of them on the bridge. She believed her skills would be more useful there and went as far as telling White that he was their last line of defense. Darius bit his lip at this. Was it wise to just have one person in the back? Still, they couldn't fit more than one person in the stairway area. It was too narrow inside as well as dangerous when it came to the steps themselves. It was a lot to place on someone else should the main group fail.
"Alright, then it's decided. See you soon." With that, they parted ways with Princess Leliana. Darius and Lance both turned to White when he spoke up.
"If you wanted to be on the bridge, then why not say so, White? Darius and I don't mind where we end up but we thought it wise to be on the bridge since either of us have a means of landing safely should the bridge collapse while we're on it. Not saying they may be able to but you may never know." While Lance was saying this, Darius could only wonder how Lance seemed to know how to fly or whatever it was that he did.
"Lance...how do you know if you can glide or fly or whatever? I've never seen you do it." Lance turned to him then.
"I've a feeling I can. It's hard to explain but I know that I can. It's like summoning the armor and my lance. It's...a natural feeling." Darius rose a brow but shrugged. He didn't question it further. If Lance believed he could then Darius was just going to have to put his faith in that.
"Alright!" Darius agreed to what White had said. As they returned to their suites, Darius gave White a simple pat on the shoulder. "I know you're tough, pal. Don't let her get to you, okay? Besides, you're part's just as important as our's. After all, as the saying goes, save the best for last." With that, Darius headed into the suite to collect his metal pipe and dressed into his normal attire quicker than the blink of an eye. Exiting the suite,he waited for the others to get prepared.
Lance exited the suite after a moment, dressed in regular attire. He didn't bring his bag seeing as he could get it later if he lived. Besides, he had the poem book in his pocket which was the only really important thing that mattered to him out of his belongings. Losing his bag wouldn't be that big of a deal for him.
"Everyone ready?"

It wasn't that White had any problem with being up in the tower during the upcoming battle. It was more of the fact that his pride was hurt by the princess. She clearly did not think much of him. Well he would show her some day. As they made their way back to the rooms, White suddenly became determined. If she was going to accompany them after this world, then he'd show her how strong he really was. He wasn't a boy!
Coming back to their room, White didn't have much to gather. He returned to find that his clothes from yesterday had been washed. Putting them on, he swung his kantana around his back. White did not wear much armor. He never had the need for it, since all it did was slow him down. His clothes were fit for smooth movements and stretches.
Meeting up with Lance, Darius, and Arya in the hallway he nodded in response to Darius. "Ya let's go.". From their rooms it was a short trip back to a side hallway, and down a couple main hallways until they came before the bridge that led to the tower. There Princess Leliana waited for them.
White couldn't help but feel she looked even more beautiful then before. Gone was the dress, and in its place was a light blue long sleeved shirt tucked into a brown belt that held up a long redish orange skirt that stretched down to the knees. Underneath that were white pants, and brown boots. She still wore her yellow crown around her head, however it was hidden mostly by her bangs. White saw no weapon on her, but he watched her tie her hair into a single long pony tail.
Eyes falling on Darius, Lance, Arya, and finally White, she turned to them. "I think we should probably get in position now. I don't know how much time we have before they arrive."
White's eyes were to busy starring at her to really hear her. Glancing over to White, she caught his eye and he immediately looked away. "I'll um... head to the tower." Looking over at Darius, Lance, Arya, and even Princess Leliana, he suddenly had the urge to say something. "Don't die you guys. I don't plan on dying either. I'll do my best to stop them if they make it through."
Having said what he needed to, White went ahead and crossed the bridge. He would leave the rest of them to set up how they wanted to on the bridge.
-------------------------
Princess Leliana watched him go. She didn't understand the confusing emotions she was experiencing. Part of her hated him for what he did to her in the fountain and in front of father. But there was another part that couldn't help but look at him. Not only that but when he wasn't drunk he seemed a lot better.
But no! She didn't have time for that now. She still had no idea why her father wanted to send her with these inexperienced fighters, but for now she had a job to do. She would do her best to stop them from getting into the tower. Master Jasper had already been worn of what was coming. He had not said anything to any of them after that.
Princess Leliana's abilities were both strong in offense and defense. She would position herself in the middle of the bridge. This way she could run up if Darius and Lance needed any help, or back if she needed to protect Arya. "Let's get in position this isn't that hard to figure out I think. Since you seem to be a mage, you stay in the back and support us anyway you can. You two are the warriors so I'll expect you to take the front. I'll take the middle and verge forward or back as needed."
---------------------------------------
2 Hours Later: The Sun Has Set And Evening Has Come
The portal opened in the middle of the courtyard in front of the main doors of the castle. Even though the guards in the castle have doubled, there were still four standing guard in front of Lady Silvia's casket. They had been warned of what might be coming, but were told that they would probably not engage in combat. After all it made more sense for the enemy to open a portal into the castle. However that was not apparently the case.
Smiles stepped out second, standing just behind and to the left of Skull. The first thing he noticed was the large castle in front of them. He found it interesting that the fissure would bring them here instead of directly inside the castle. He also wondered just what the plan was here. Were they going to just storm the castle? And if so what were they allowed to do? Skull had said not to get in his way, but what exactly did that mean.
Glancing over, he heard the portal close as no doubt his apprentice had joined them. Smiles was still slightly worried about Ivory's health, but she seemed better then before. Hearing the sound of movement in front of them, Smiles glanced down to see four centaurs with spears pointed at them at about fifteen feet away. They were surrounding what looked like a golden casket, if he wasn't mistaken.
Skull turned his head to Smiles. "I suggest you and your prodigy do nothing until I ask you too." Smiles wasn't one for taking orders but he nodded anyway. After all for him this was more of an observation mission.
Very casually Skull began to walk forward, as if he had all the time in the world.

Darius hoped his words had reached White to a degree. He could understand if White felt hurt by how the princess seemed to demean him. She still seemed to hate the poor guy. Darius just hoped there wouldn't be a lot of fighting but there was a slight chance that might not be possible. One way or another, they may end up arguing. Oh well, no use wishing for better. They had needed the numbers anyways, Darius just hoped the princess could prove she was capable in her own right.
In his casual clothing, carrying his steel pipe, Darius wondered why he carried it around now. It was true that he used it for when he'd need it when he was unable to retrieve his white dragon miniature statuette but this was the kind of fight where he wasn't going to need it really. Mentally grumbling to himself, Darius tossed it over his shoulder back into his room before officially making it out into the hallway as he pulled out his miniature dragon.
There, everyone was already set. Once White confirmed that they were set, they all headed towards the bridge leading up to where Master Jasper would be. There, Princess Leliana was already waiting for them. Darius didn't question her attire but had to wonder why she wasn't wearing some sort of armor. Oh well, no use to question and cause an argument. She probably had some magic to her or something. Unlike White, Darius wasn't infatuated with the princess. He recognized she was a pretty lady but he never thought of her anything more than that. Lance was pretty much in the same boat as Darius. However, they did respect her. Neither would allow Leliana or Arya to get hurt if they could help it.
Hearing Princess Leliana's words, Darius gave a nod before turning to Lance. As the two looked at each other, they gave each other a nod. They would do their part as best they could and if worse came to worse, they'd be able to escape should they need to. Darius, in the back of his mind, had to worry a bit about White. White hadn't really spoken on the matter and was known to do pretty wild things in battle without thought. Granted, they always pulled through things together alive and in one piece but even still, Darius had to worry. That's what friends did, they worried about the sake of their friends. Darius was worried about the others in their group too, of course, but should they fail then White was on his own. Darius hoped they would be able to stop those that were coming with their increased numbers.
After a moment, White finally spoke. It was clear he was eying Leliana a lot. Darius mentally chuckled at it but refrained from showing he found it amusing and ironic. Lance, on the other hand, was praying to not have a repeat of the night before. When White started heading towards the tower, he gave pause and turned to them all. Darius especially looked back at White since they had been through more than the others have. "We always pull through, White. I won't die, I've got things I need to help out with. No way am I clocking out of this one early." That and he had a sister to knock some sense into if he could. He wasn't sure how but he would try.
"Yes, I assure you that I don't plan on getting myself killed here either. We will do our best, White. Take care." With that, White left their presence making his way toward the tower. Their group fell in silence before Princess Leliana took the initiative to get them going.
Reluctantly, Darius turned away from the tower where he knew White was and looked ahead of them. Closing his hand over his white dragon statuette, Darius walked at the front of their group. As he did so, he became engulfed in his white dragon armor, the wings and tail moving as if the armor were alive and a part of him. In his right hand appeared the broadsword. Holding it before him, pointing the blade downward and letting it rest there in front of him on the ground, Darius stood and waited in silence.
Lance simply gave a nod in response to Leliana and turned to meet Darius. Summoning the ancient armor and extending a hand out, he summoned his lance. Like Darius, he allowed it to rest on the ground but instead, with the blunt end of his weapon resting on the ground. Now, it was just a moment of waiting. Could they manage this? Would they all still be alive? It was unclear.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ivory blinked at the surrounding area she just stepped out into behind Smiles and Skull. They appeared to be standing in the center or a courtyard just before the gates of a castle. Looking up at it, Ivory marveled at the sight of it. This had to be at least the third castle she ever laid her eyes on. She had to marvel at the sight of it for a moment before taking her eyes off of it to gaze over at Smiles and Skull before her.
As she stood there, she had to wonder why they were outside of the castle and not inside of it. Portals, from her understanding, would have been able to permit them entry, right? Oh well, she held her tongue on that one. No need to anger Skull when they had to cooperate with the leader of the fissures. What they were going to do, Ivory wasn't really sure. She guessed that he was only going to permit them to follow and observe for the most part.
The sound of something nearby made her look over. There, at least fifteen feet away from them, stood centaurs. All of them were in front of them, centered around what appeared to be a casket of sorts. The creatures were pointing spears at them. As they stood there, Ivory could only wonder who had died. Surely, it was someone of high ranking here, probably of royalty. Were they going to have to plow through them to get to the castle?
As she wondered this, Skull spoke. Tearing her eyes away from the scene, she looked up at the leader of the fissures and then to Smiles. She watched as Smiles gave a nod of his head to what the fissure had told him. They were only to do what he asked of them and no more. With that, Skull started walking forward. Ivory didn't move until Smiles did. Skull may be the more prominent figure amongst the three of them but Ivory respected Smiles and her loyalties rested with him. During the time she had left that third trial, her energy seemed to have been restored. The exhaustion she had known and everything had been erased. The only thing that she had upon leaving the trial was the feeling of hunger. Thanks to Smiles, she had been able to eat real quick before coming here. The only thing that was wrong with her was the fact she had a male soul inside of her head. For now, Artemis seemed silent. He was probably observing what the world around them looked like for the most part and seeing what they were doing. Depending on how quiet he got, she could end up forgetting he was there.
Having never dismissed her armor, Ivory didn't have to worry about summoning it. Granted, Skull might not have them do anything but there was no telling if any projectiles would be thrown or shot their way. Quietly, she followed after Smiles.

((OOC: I'm going to leave things away form White until Skull, Smiles, and Ivory reach Darius and the crew))
Artemis was observing his surroundings. For the most part he was sort of shocked to find where they were. However what he saw was not how marvelous the castle was. Instead it brought back memories of his life not only growing up here, but of the actions that he had completed in that castle. The murders of nobles, of servants who knew too much, of even members of the royal family.
Though there was no denying the change that had occurred to the castle. Through Ivory's eyes he noticed the centaurs. These creatures were new. They had never been on this world when he grew up here. It made him wonder just how many years had passed since he was alive.
Skull lead them, Smiles following aside Ivory. The four centaurs had watched their arrival and had spears pointed. There was no surprise on their face, or even curiosity. They were expecting a fight. Smiles noticed this. As did Artemis. "Somethings not right... They are expecting you." Artemis worn.
Smiles said nothing. He simply watched. Skull, paused about six feet away from them and raised his hand to them to halt. Receiving the message, Smiles paused catching Ivory's eye to make sure she got the message. The two centaurs at the front lowered their spears and stepped forward.
"Just what can you do?"[/i] Smiles thought.
Skull did not summon a weapon. He didn't need too. He did not run so fast he disappeared and reappeared behind the opponent. He did run, but it was at a normal human race. His eyes, full of menace, charged between the two centaurs. There was about one foot space between the two. The reason would be so that the centaurs could both attack the opponent with their spears at once. Since they towered over Skull their spears came down at an angle in attempt to spear Skull through the head.
As their spears came down, Skull leaped. He jumped about three feet off the air, tall enough so that both the centaurs head were easily gripable. Skull grasped both of their heads with one hand and Smiles watched as the fissure drove the centaurs backwards, off their legs, and drive them to the ground. As Skull descended he smashed their heads into the ground busting them open with strength that was clearly not human. The centaurs died upon impact.
The two centaurs that stood at the back to the left and right of the casket were clearly shocked at such a move. They had not thought such a thing possible by what looked to be only a regular human. Skull did not wait for them to get out of their shock. He leaped onto the casket and then over to the centaur on the right. The targeted centaur quickly got out of his shock, raising his spear up to intercept the leaping Skull.
Skull however landed short of the spear and rolled to the side of the centaur, dodging a raised spear. Taking a hold of centaur's front legs, he lifted the centaur and swung him onto the spear of the other charging centaur. The remaining centaur had thought to catch Skull unaware, as Smiles had observed.
Not letting up, Skull ran after the centaur who had just killed his ally and slipping through its four legs by sliding on his side feet first. The centaur had dropped his spear, the shock of killing his fellow guard clear on his face. Smiles didn't see it, but he heard the crunch of Skull grabbing the back legs of the centaur, snapping them up and causing him to fall back on its broken legs. Smiles did see the centaur fall.
The enemy screamed in horror from the pain no doubt. It didn't last long. Skull twisted the centaur's neck.
Smiles was feeling several things at this moment. There was curiosity, interest, surprise at the display of power the fissure possessed, and a bit of fear as well. Were all the fissures this strong? There wasn't much time to think of it though. Skull had started on again. Smiles was forced to continue. They came to the front of the castle, and Skull put up his palm once again.

(OOC: I figured as much. XD No probs!) Ivory couldn't help but notice the curious look of the given area. The centaurs didn't at all look surprised to see them there. The fact they had been here waiting made her wonder if something were amiss. She heard Artemis in the depths of her mind, almost having caused her to jump again at the sudden sound of his voice. He had the suspicion that the centaurs had been forewarned of them coming here. "Yeah!" she said aloud, forgetting to say it in her head. When she realized she said it aloud, she coughed, pretending that it was a strange sounding cough instead of her talking to herself. 'Shit!' she mentally cursed. She had to stop doing that if she planned on not looking insane right now.
Thankfully, no one seemed to notice, at least not that she could tell. Quietly, she followed Skull and only stopped when Skull motioned for them to do so, catching the look Smiles had also given her. Standing in place, she watched as Skull walked before the centaurs. An uneasy feeling settled over her as he charged them. The centaurs were large and Skull seemed to be of normal speed but she doubted that Skull was anything normal.
Sure enough, by the time he reached the first two centaurs, he leapt high into the air, grabbing their heads and forcing them to the ground. When he did, he hit their heads onto the ground so hard that their heads had split open. Ivory couldn't help but feel a nasty chill go down her spine as she winced. She could almost feel that just by watching it happen!
Skull focused on his next target and went right for him. As he raised his spear to counter Skull, Ivory watched as the leader of the fissures dodged the attack. Upon landing, he lifted up the centaur and had him tossed into the spear of another. Throughout the slaughter, Ivory could only look on with shock and a feeling of fear. It was amazing that the fissure contained such strength.
Before long,he had apprehended the entire group of the centaurs. Ivory couldn't help but look down in slight sickness as she and Smiles were finally motioned to follow Skull again. This time, he brought them up all the way to the castle's front doors. As they got there, Skull motioned again for them to stop. Once again, Ivory had stopped as she looked up,wondering what the fissure was going to do next.

Artemis watched the slaughter. That was what it was.The centaurs had no chance against this man. It became evident as he literally overwhelmed them with strength alone. "Whatever this fissure creature is... It is a monster." Artemis couldn't help but feel that allying with this creature was a double edged sword. He learned that just from watching it.
Skull led them to the front doors. There were two centaurs stationed there. Smiles wondered if they were about to see the same onslaught as before. Having witnessed the death of their fellow guardsman, they seemed frightened. "You won't get past all of us!" One of them shouted.
Tilting his head, Skull stretched out his hands. "I won't have to." He replied. Smiles watched as from underneath the visor that covered his mouth two shadows dropped. There was no guess what those creatures were. They sprinted across the earth and through the nostrils of the centaurs. There eyes went from their regular brown color to deep yellow. Smiles knew that they had just witnessed the birth of two more fissures.
"If you would open the door my children and lead us to the old man." The centaurs, smiling, turned and opened the doors behind them and led the way into the large hallway. Skull followed with Smiles following behind.

As Ivory walked with the others, she was glad neither of them appeared to take notice of her speaking to herself. That was good. It wouldn't be easy explaining herself. Hearing Artemis's words after the slaughter, she gave a nod. Probably not the best thing to do since why the hell would she be nodding? Then again, she could be easily mistaken for approving of something so she hoped that would be it. 'Yes, these things are,' she replied to Artemis, remembering to use her thoughts this time to respond.
As they got to the gates, Ivory wondered if they were going to see another display of strength on Skull's part. Instead, he simply tilted his head back and stretched out his arms as the centaurs said that he wouldn't get past all of them. As he did so, Ivory saw two shadows fall from the visor of Skull's helmet. Her eyes widened at this as she watched the things zip off towards the centaurs and invaded their nostrils. Soon, their eyes turned to the color that Ivory had seemed to be a characteristic of the fissures. Smiling, the centaurs then opened the doors after Skull had asked them to.
'So if those things can multiply like that...then why kill keybladers again?' she wondered to herself. She knew that there had been a reason for it but she had forgotten. Whatever the case, it had allowed this creature to ally himself with their organization but it seemed like it was all too easy for Skull. Why did he ally with them then? It's not like he seemed to really need their help. This thought bothered Ivory and she could see why Fang didn't seem to like these things. It unnerved her to see two more fissures being sprout out just like that. Could any of the fissures do that or just Skull?
Before long, they were being lead into the castle, Skull at the lead with Ivory bringing up the rear as she followed Smiles.

Artemis watched the whole transaction and was immediately reminded of a similar sort of creature. However that creature had been more of a snake like creature, where as these reminded him very much of heartless. At least with the whole shadow thing. Hearing Ivory's thoughts he found them curious as well. Since he had no reason to second guess her knowledge he thought it was odd as well.
"Being an assassin you sometimes are forced to ally with people at least temporarily to get close to a target. Perhaps your leader is after something he thinks that these fissures will get him close too?" It was just a thought, but in his experience as being an assassin there were various times that he had to become an actor. Playing a bard, playing the lover of a politician, all too get close to the target.
The two centaurs led them down the hallway, but it wasn't long before they came before a patrol. There were six centaurs, double the originally three that were stationed down the hallway. Upon seeing them though they did not think them foes. Seeing the two centaurs leading them they seemed a bit confused.
"Sir Joffery why are you outside the post? You were supposed to be on guard duty." Sir Joffery, whichever centaur that was supposed to be did not reply. Skull walked past them. The menace in his eye must have tipped them off, for they brought up their spears up in reflex. Skull raised his arm once more. And then he ran.
Smiles watched Skull. Every time it seemed a spear was going to strike him he dodged it and sent a series of fists, kicks, and even headbutts against the enemy. It was a matter of moments before there were six dead centaurs on the ground. Artemis noted deaths from lung punctures, broken necks, snapped arms and legs. Skull had pounded and twisted and left the bodies in shapes that were deformed looking.
And then he made a forward motion with his hand and they were once again on the move. The two centaurs led them down the hall and to a side hall. There they ran into a group of four more centaurs. Skull got rid of them in pretty much the same manner. It was then only a matter of a few more yards before they found themselves in front of a door. Pushing it open he opened the door and onto the base of the bridge.

As Ivory observed what had been done before walking into the castle along with the others, she heard Artemis speaking to her again. As he spoke, she could only wonder. It was true that Snake was trying to obtain the goal of eliminating the keybladers once and for all but she wasn't worried about that. She was worried as to what purpose the fissures had for them. They had become allies with them but watching Skull right here and now, she could only wonder if they intended to use them as hosts for future fissures or not. Really, how could the committee be useful to these things when their leader made this whole situation look as if he were walking through a park and everyone was made of paper and sticks?
'That's not what has me wondering, Artemis. It's what those things have in mind for the committee that has me wondering. Especially if Skull here is able to do this as if it's a walk through the park,' she replied in her mind.
Once again, they reached a group of centaurs but this time there were more of them. They appeared to be confused about something, even questioning one of their number it seemed. One of the centaurs was named Sir Joffery by the sound of it. Regardless, their confusion immediately left them as soon as Skull stepped forward. Just like before, the centaurs were slaughtered and they were on the move again.
The two centaurs led them down a hall and then a smaller, side hall. They then came before a set of doors. Ivory watched as Skull opened the door that lead onto the base of a bridge. There, they found a group standing in the middle of it in their way. One, Ivory immediately recognized. Her whole body went rigid at the realization of who she was seeing. Her twin brother was amongst the group. "Darius!"
As the door had been opened, Darius and Lance immediately poised themselves, in a battle ready stance. Messengers had gone between groups on a normal basis but even then, the two were on the alert. This time though, something was off. Darius saw the group coming their way but because of the centaurs and Skull, he could not see Smiles and Ivory behind them. He did see Sir Joffery though. "...Something doesn't feel right. Why is Sir Joffery with that guy?"
"I don't know but I certainly don't trust what my eyes see. As you've said, something is very off and that armor only makes it even more so." The group was in for a lot of trouble.

Artemis hadn't thought much about what the fissures might have in store for Ivory's organization. She brought up a good point. If these creatures were this powerful, then what exactly did they need the assassination committee for? Artemis didn't like the situation he was placed in via Ivory. This was not what he had thought was awaiting him when he was told he'd be coming back.
Smiles and Ivory could both see Darius and Lance. And he couldn't help but smile at seeing Darius. So it seemed they were meeting up with Ivory's brother yet again. This sort of complicated things though. Ivory, though she was a part of their group, was against letting Darius die no doubt. The situation became very interesting.
Skull though took a look at Darius and Lance, then at Princess Leliana and Arya. He heard the girl in the middle of the bridge, the older of the two female humans, speak up. "I do not know that man you guys. He shouldn't be in this castle." Skull said nothing, his eyes followed to the tour behind them. The fissure could feel the old man within the tower.
For the first time since entering the building Skull addressed Smiles and Ivory. "Take care of them."
Skull turned to the centaurs and extended his arms. The mouths of the centaurs opened and the fissures poured out from their mouths. As their bodies dropped dead, the fissures crawled up his arms and back underneath his visor. Along with this both Ivory and Smiles came into view. Smiles glanced over to Ivory.
"I will fight your brother. Take care of the other boy."

Ivory noticed her heartbeat quickening at the sight of her twin brother. If he were to get killed by Skull, she wouldn't be able to live with herself. He was, even if she was angry with him, her only family member. Smiles and the organization had become her new home and family but they weren't related to her by blood. Darius knew her since they had been born and even in the womb of their mother. They were twins and their bond wasn't something you saw every day. Twins were siblings, yes but they were more than that. It were as if they were the same person almost but with different souls.
As she looked on the scene, her heart racing, Ivory wondered what was going to be done. Would Skull murder them like he had the centaurs? No, instead, Skull simply looked upon the group as a woman, the older of the two in the back, spoke up. She didn't know the guy and that he shouldn't be in the castle. Whether she was speaking to the centaurs or Darius and Lance, the centaurs didn't respond and Darius and Lance seemed to go more on the alert. They were facing the group, ready to fight.
Then, Skull spoke to Ivory and Smiles for the first time. He was telling them to take care of these people. Already, Ivory got a bad feeling in the pit of her stomach. It was worry only because she worried for her brother's sake. Who the other people were, she didn't know but it looked like he was friends or allies with them. The situation had just gotten very complicated for her.
As Skull extended his hands to the centaurs, Ivory watched as the fissures he had sent out returned to his visor. As she glanced back over at the centaurs, she could see that they were now dead. Turning back towards the group, it was now much easier for Smiles and Ivory to be seen. Breathing in to calm herself as best she could, Ivory walked along with Smiles. As she walked, she saw Smiles glance over and returned the look. He would fight her brother and she would fight the other boy. Knowing this was an order, despite her feelings, she had to trust that Smiles wouldn't harm Darius. He had said last time that he wouldn't kill him. Did that also mean this time he wouldn't as well? She wasn't sure but she nodded none the less. "Y-Yes, Smiles."
Darius and Lance, on the other hand, watched in horror as the mysterious man turned from them and extended his hands out to the centaurs. The centaurs dropped dead as creatures flitted from their bodies. When that happened, they fell dead. Sir Joffery was dead! "...No!" he spoke, as then two very familiar faces came into view. Smiles and Ivory, his twin sister.
"Ivory!" Darius had called. It was one of surprise and anger. Watching them walk towards them, Ivory and Darius even looked more so like twins considering their armors were exact opposites of each other and yet the same. Ivory said nothing as she and Smiles began to approach but it wasn't hard to hear Smiles telling Ivory that he would be fighting Darius while she would be taking care of Lance.
"Be careful, Lance. I'm not sure what has come over my twin sister but I don't think this will be an easy fight for either of us." Even now, Darius stood at the ready as his eyes narrowed, looking right at the two approaching figures. "...Smiles!" he growled out Smiles's name. Lance stood at the ready as each faced off.

Artemis watched through Ivory's eyes and felt the worry she had for her brother. Things were indeed complicated for her. "It's hard but you need to worry about yourself not your brother. You have an opponent of your own. If Smiles truly your best friend he will not kill your brother. However he is an assassin. And I have no doubt he will do what he must to remove him from his way. That is the way of the assassin."
Spotting Lance, Artemis did not see anything remarkable about his opponent. He noted though that he saw no weapon or armor on the enemy. They had been expecting them, so why was this so? Most likely he had some sort of trick up his sleeve. Artemis thought that Ivory should be cautious. If he were in control he would approach him, but not charge forward and attack. See if he drew a weapon or not.
Smiles on the other hand, had summoned dark and light energy in both his hands, but had not put them together as of yet to summon his guns. Seeing that Darius was in his armor already, Smiles was going to make this quick. There were two other opponents behind them as well. He didn't doubt that the one in the far back was probably a magic user. After all it was standard for such a thing. He didn't know about the girl in the middle. She was either another mage, or perhaps a mage and warrior both?
He would be careful to lookout for them both. He needed to finish Darius quick. "Finish them quickly Ivory, we have to worry about the other two as well." Glancing over to Darius he gave him a grin. "This will hurt." Bringing up his hands as if he was going to put them together to form his guns, he instead turned his palms to the opponent.
They shot towards Darius at the same speed as if he had shot his gun. However as they left his hands they began to spin to form the appearance of a large dragon made of energy. The energy was three feet wide, seven feet in height, and stretched for a total of ten feet. The dragon, though made of pure energy let out a roar as it sailed toward Darius. It would not kill him, but it had the power of a hundred of his bullets. It moved in a wave formation straight towards Darius.
Smiles though did not wait to see if the attack would hit. The energy dragon was the perfect thing to disguise his approach. As he came within a few feet of Darius, he sent one portal to the left of Darius, and the other in front of Smiles himself . So as the dragon approached from the front, Smiles dropped into the portal and appeared to the side him. Summoning his guns, Smiles aimed and fired two shots of electric energy. One behind him, if he were to move move backwards, and one directly across form him, if Darius was to run to the left or right of where he was standing to get away. If hit, the electric pulse would paralyze him.

Ivory wasn't sure what to do at this point except to follow Smiles's order. In the back of her mind, she could hear Artemis again. He was informing her to direct her attention on her opponent rather than the safety of her brother. If Smiles really was her best friend then he wouldn't kill Darius. However, Artemis made it a point to reveal to her that the way of the assassin was to remove anything that got in the way. 'You think I don't know that? That's why I'm worried!' she replied.
Still, she couldn't do anything to help Darius if she wanted to since her attention turned to Lance. Upon inspection, she noticed for some odd reason that he didn't have any armor or even a weapon upon him. Ivory furrowed her eyebrows at this questioningly. Morally, she couldn't strike a foe down without a weapon to defend himself with. Something was really fishy here, especially when the group appeared to be ready for a fight.
'Who in their right mind would stand here without a weapon or some form of protection at the very least?' she wondered. Cautiously, she stepped forward. As she did so, Lance got into a battle ready stance, looking very much like someone from two hundred years ago. As he had gotten into his battle ready stance, armor appeared on his body out of nowhere and a lance appeared in his right hand. 'That would explain it then! Interesting, another person that can summon some kind of armor to them,' she thought.
Ivory also took a second to check her peripheral vision. In it, she could see two figures in the corner of her eye in the back. One had to be a mage, the other probably a mixture of the two, give or take only because she was much closer in proximity to them than the one in the way back. She kept her eyes focused on Lance, neither of them moving as they faced off. She could tell by the light of his eyes that he was confused as to why he was facing her. He probably knew about her relation with Darius or knew there was some sort of connection. It wasn't difficult to tell by her eye coloring and hair coloring that she was related to Darius by blood. Never the less, he furrowed his brow, looking determined.
Before they could even lunge at each other, Smiles spoke up. He was telling her to finish her opponent quickly. "Got it!" she responded simply, the entire time, her eyes fixed on Lance. Judging by the look on his face, he wasn't about to let her do that.
No longer wasting anymore time, Ivory held up a hand and launched a beam of dark energy at Lance. As if he were expecting something like this, Lance brought up his hand and seemed to shield himself with a magical barrier of his own that deflected her attack. When he did this, Ivory charged at him as she submerged herself in dark energy. Taking a swing of her naginata, she shot forth at him six feet. Whether or not she passed him, five pillars of dark energy that went straight up five feet in height would erupt from the ground. She was hoping to send him off balance so he'd fall or knock him back with the pillars to knock him out or at least stun him.
Since Lance didn't know Ivory's magical energy, he had figured something was amiss. Seeing her come right for him, he dodged to the side but did not expect dark energy to suddenly burst upward from the ground. The dark energy was enough to knock him backward, landing in a heap on the hard stone of the bridge. "Ugh!" he grunted, seeing stars.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Darius heard Smiles dish out orders to his sister but he didn't dare move right now. Smiles was a slippery fellow so if he so much as blinked, Darius knew that he'd be in for some serious trouble. He knew that he had to be cautious and hearing Smiles tell Ivory to apprehend them quickly only told him something really unpleasant was about to happen.
Once he was done speaking to Ivory, Darius's eyes narrowed as Smiles focused his attention on him. The grin on Smiles's face was bone chilling as he told Darius that whatever he had up his sleeve was going to hurt. "Knowing you, I wouldn't doubt that!" he retorted. Darius very much remembered the sting of the bullets the last time they fought. He went still as Smiles seemed to extend his hands as if he was going to summon his guns again. Expecting that, Darius decided to try and charge him but that wasn't a good idea.
Instead, Smiles had extended his palms out towards Darius, causing Darius to abruptly stop what he was doing upon reflex. Suddenly, energy surged forth from Smiles's palms and out came energy that took on the shape of a dragon! "Oh sh-!" Darius exclaimed as he saw the thing roar as it came for him. Intending to dodge it, he shouted for those behind him to look out as he made to dodge. Darius should not have made the mistake of taking his eyes off of Smiles but that was very hard to do considering that Smiles sent a energy dragon after his ass.
Thus, when Smiles appeared, Darius hadn't been ready for him and the sneaky gunman shot him with the electrical bullets. "A-ARGH!" Darius exclaimed, going down. Both he and Lance had been knocked back in unison. The electrical bullets had been so stunning that Darius could do nothing but shrink in pain. The best he could do was prop himself up on his elbows in pain.
Lance was just as winded as Darius but he coughed and spluttered, getting back to his feet. "You pack a punch for a lady!" he stated, acknowledging Ivory's attack's power. Ivory chose to not say anything. The fact Lance got back up meant he was in a lot more danger than her brother was right now. Knowing Smiles had just apprehended her twin brother, she hadn't much time to knock Lance back down before Smiles might resort to blowing Lance's brains out with his gun. Not hesitating, she launched herself at Lance with a series of attacks. The seasoned warrior was remarkable being able to parry them or at least dodge them but that wasn't her main focus. There was water close below them on this bridge and she forced him to focus so much on her that, she managed to corner him at the very edge of the bridge.
Now, the issue was catching him off balance. No doubt, this guy was a formidable opponent in that he was skilled enough to defend himself well. If only she could locate an opening! Feinting, she made a swipe at his face. As he raised his lance to parry it, Ivory resorted to lashing out at him with her tail by swinging it at his feet and effectively tripping him. She watched as he fell into the water below before turning to face the final two opponents. Lance wouldn't be dead judging the fall and the fact he had landed in water like he had. No, she knew that it wouldn't be the last time she fought that one. As she looked, she could see her brother crumpled, in pain. She hated to see it but it was that or having a dead sibling on her hands. She was relieved that Smiles hadn't killed him instead.
Everything was happening so fast, it was a wonder.

Princess Leliana had not been prepared for just how strong their foes were. She had thought that Darius and Lance would be alright until she summoned her own abilities, but there wasn't even time. Before she knew it Lance and Darius were out of commission. Smiles glanced over at their next opponent.
The creepy smile on his face, made Princess Leliana freeze. That was all Smiles needed. Sending out a portal in front of her, he stepped back to the one where he had created to use against Darius. Appearing before her she stepped back, summoning a blade of pure energy in front of her. Striking down at him, Smiles turned perpindicular to dodge it. Then he slammed her on the top of the head with his weapon. She was knocked out instantly. He would leave the mage for Ivory.
When Lance had summoned his armor, Artemis couldn't help but feel that he saw that armor before. He had no idea how or when, but he swore it looked familiar. Even the boy's stance seemed familiar. That bothered him, but there wasn't much time to think about it. Ivory was on the mood and it didn't seem to take much before he was thrown to the river down below.
With Smiles taking care of the middle fighter, all that was left was the mage. "Distance is your enemy. Close the distance, and the mage is yours." Almost as if that had been a warning, Arya began pumping large orbs of dark energy at Ivory, one after the other.

Ivory continued to examine the water's surface. She knew the river hadn't been flowing that dangerously and had a feeling that even if it were, the guy would somehow survive it. Once she was certain that he wouldn't be able to reach them in time considering the water and fall had him preoccupied, she set her sights on the remaining members. There was a woman with blond hair and striking green eyes. Behind her was a girl that looked around thirteen who held more of a mage vibe about her than the woman before her.
It was clear on the face of the older girl, close to Ivory's age if not the same age, that she hadn't been expecting this to happen so soon. Smiles, no sooner had apprehended Darius and made a lunge for the older woman. It was up to Ivory to take care of the younger girl but she couldn't get to her until the other woman was out of the way. Seeing as Smiles had her busy, Ivory saw it as the perfect opportunity to reach the mage girl.
Looking over at her, Ivory could tell that she was a mage for certain since she was in the far back. As she looked at her, Ivory tried to anticipate her movements. No doubt, she was getting ready to launch something at her but she made no move just yet. It wasn't until she heard Artemis in her mind telling her that distance was her enemy when faced with a mage. So long as she closed in, she would be able to take the mage out.
As if Artemis's words had been a warning coming from Arya, the mage girl began to launch dark energy balls one after the other in swift precision. Ivory rose a brow at this. Darkness was what she used for her attacks. Her armor wouldn't receive a similar amount of damage as someone like Darius would who had a weakness against darkness like she had a weakness against light. Still, that didn't mean those dark energy balls wouldn't hurt. Dodging the first, Ivory kept herself moving. It was just like being faced with a gun. So long as she moved and made her movements unpredictable, she had a lesser chance of getting shot.
Zig-zagging, Ivory had to eventually resort to launching herself into the air and taking flight. Looping and twirling this way and that, she eventually threw herself at the bridge near Arya some few feet behind her. When she did, she'd attempt to thwack her over the head with the blunt end of her naginata in attempts to knock her unconscious. She had no intentions of murdering a younger girl if she could help it. Where she was an assassin now, she still had some morals behind her.
If she knocked the girl out cold, Ivory would catch her before she hit the ground and then lay her down to rest on the ground. Then, she would glance over at Smiles and where her brother was, crumpled in a heap but looking over at them, squinting through his pain with anger written all over his face. It was a mixture of great emotional pain that shown through other than physical pain to be seeing her doing what she had done. Ivory merely turned her gaze away from him then, remembering the boy they had seen the last time. He had been friends of Darius and yet he wasn't present. Had he and Darius split up or parted ways? Or were they also in the same world with him somewhere further ahead?
"Smiles...I do not recognize these other people that were here with Darius...however, I did not see that spiky haired one amongst them from the last time." At least she could forewarn her allies about the other one being somewhere else possibly. She didn't think Darius was the type to just part ways with any of his friends. No doubt, he had to be here somewhere. Once Darius made friends with someone, he tended to stick around with them a lot. Knowing Skull was still waiting for them to finish, Ivory had stepped out of the way to permit the leader of the fissures passage while also double checking with her sight to ensure her brother wouldn't be in the immediate path of Skull. She wasn't sure what Smiles had done to him but he looked as if he couldn't voluntarily get up and attack them even if he wanted to. At least he was still alive.
If only Darius could understand her position. Sadly, she knew it would be impossible for him to do so. Darius had viewed her killing people as ill intended. After being taught by Smiles, she had come to learn that it was a job and one that she could also choose to treat with some preferences but not many and highly limited. Snake made it clear these recent missions that he did not allow for much anymore since he was focused on eliminating the keybladers. Speaking of the organization, as she looked over at Smiles, she wondered if he had already come to a similar suspicion as she had about the fissures. She knew from experience that he was quite keen of mind but there are some things he could miss like in Timeless River. Also, what of the fissure they had seen back on that world? Skull was the leader of the fissures and yet he looked very different from the one they had seen. Was it still the same fissure or not? Either way, they still had a task and Ivory now waited for Skull's directions while also paying close attention to what Smiles was doing since he had more of a say as to what she was to do in all of this.

Smiles hadn't fought the white haired boy. For that reason he had forgotten about him. However once Ivory mentioned him, his eyebrow perked up. Now that he thought about it he was no where to be seen. Skull though, didn't seem to care that one of their opponents crew was missing. He walked right past Darius, the knocked out Princess Leliana, and the sleeping Arya. However he paused upon seeing Arya. His eyes focused on her, and his face tightened as if he was studying her. It was a look that Smiles had seen the fissure share when he stared at the three rings back at the base.
Turning to Smiles he suddenly spoke up, "Take her with us." Smiles crossed his arms. Just what did Skull want with her? However he wasn't about to get in a fight with the fissure. Not right now anyway. Glancing over at Ivory, he indicated that she should pick her up. Reaching the new tower, Skull opened it. They entered to find a spiraling staircase.
There was no waiting. Skull began to climb.

Ivory watched with bated breath as Skull walked past her sibling, the unconscious woman and came over to where the young mage was. Ivory watched with uncertainty as Skull looked down upon the girl. What was it about her that interested him? It were as if he were examining her like he had the trial rings back in the headquarters of the keybladers assassination committee. Did something about her disturb him? Ivory looked down at her with wonder.
As caution would have it, she occasionally kept an close eye on her surroundings with her peripheral vision in case a sudden movement were to take place whether it be in her brother's direction or somewhere else. She was on the alert for White in case he suddenly appeared somewhere. No doubt, he hated her too for what she had done to his world. Not that she could have helped it anyway. Ivory had done what she was told to do but that incident had more so been like a slaughter rather than a mission she had been expecting. Now that she thought about it, this kind of mission was sort of the same except she wasn't the one doing all of the killing around here. It was Skull that was slaughtering everyone and yet he allowed them to do what they could with this group. She could only wonder as to why he permitted them to. Was he just simply storing energy or something?
After a moment, Skull finally spoke up. Blinking, she glanced over at Smiles. She had heard what Skull said perfectly clear. He wanted the girl to be taken with them. Watching Smiles cross his arms, she could see that he didn't seem to like the idea of taking the girl along. When he finally made an indication for her to pick the girl up,Ivory gave a nod of her head. Turning toward the younger girl, Ivory couldn't help but feel a pang of worry for her. Just what did Skull want with her?
Bending down, Ivory picked her up and supported the girl's weight by wrapping an arm about her waist and slinging one of the girl's arms over her shoulders and walked carrying her along. Surprisingly, she was much lighter than she appeared to be. 'What does he want with this girl?' she wondered, glancing at the girl's unconscious face. As she went, she knew her brother was watching them go but unable to do anything. He couldn't even yell if he wanted to. He was nothing but helpless at this point.
All Darius could do now was hope that White would be prepared for what was coming his way but he knew that he probably wouldn't do well either. Neither of them had the training or the strength. In his heart, Darius hoped to the heavens above that White would come out of this alive. That Skull guy didn't look at all friendly and there was no telling what Smiles would probably do if allowed to take care of him. Smiles, how Darius hated that guy! Where he allowed their entire group to live, the bullets he used on Darius really hurt a hell of a lot. Ironic, just like before, Darius had found himself getting shot by that creep. How could Ivory befriend such a guy? Didn't he make her uneasy with the way he smiled all the time? He just couldn't understand as he winced, wanting to cry out to White to get Arya from them but unable to even exhale and inhale without feeling a ton of pain that silenced him. Also, what happened to Lance? Ivory hadn't killed him but Darius was certain he had landed in the water. Was he okay? 'Damn it, if only I could get up!' he thought, trying to will himself to move but only managing just a few inches.

Artemis didn't like what was happening. "What is this girl to him? A hostage perhaps? Or is it something more?" He just didn't know. Things were happening quickly and Artemis was limited to what Ivory felt and heard.
As they climbed the long staircase, Smiles felt slightly sorry for Ivory. It wasn't easy to carry someone up all these steps. He didn't know that Sir Joffery had carried Lady Silvia's body up here earlier. While the climb continued and they went higher and higher, they finally came to a section where they were surrounded by walls. As they continued to circle, sure enough standing before a doorway at the end of the hall was the white haired teen.
He sat on the floor, his kantana resting in its sheath against his shoulder. Glancing up, he noticed Skull first. White had no idea who this person was, but he noticed the people behind him. The smiling bastard and Darius's sister. Rats! He had a sudden pang of fear for Darius and his other friends. He hoped they weren't dead. He'd never forgive himself if they were.
As his eyes floated to Ivory he noticed she was carrying an unconscious body. Of course, since White saw that it wasn't moving he thought it was a dead body. Only when she was close enough did he realize it was Arya. His eyes narrowed in an angry rage. They had done it again! Killed someone close to him. White stood, his eyes narrowed in absolute rage.
Skull, being a fissure, had a menace to his eyes. However to White it didn't even matter. He just saw him as a person, no doubt a member of the Assassination Committee. "You will not get past me. I will kill each and every one of you!" He spat.
Smiles, didn't respond. Skull had made it clear to stay out of his way, and he was the closest to White. Skull looked White up and down. "A human could never hope to defeat me." Skull informed White.
"I've killed two of you already. A third shouldn't be too hard." White mocked figuring that this was a fissure then.
That was not the right thing to say though. Skull's eyes narrowed even further, and that menace suddenly held rage. Skull charged White. White had no clue what was going to happen. He ran forward himself, thinking that Skull was limited to the same human body that the other fissures had. Rising his kantana, he summoned electric energy and slashed forward, hoping to rip the torso of the fissure right open.
Skull did not back away, as would have been the normal response. Instead he picked up his pace and thus was able to grab onto White's swinging overhead arm. Not only that but the fissure lifted him up and pushed him back into the wall beside the door. White hit the wall with a bang, feeling his back hit first and break upon the impact. The pain was indescribable. The scream that shrilled from his lips didn't even sound like his own. It continued as Skull pounded fist after fist into his chest, breaking his bones with each punch.
The onslaught would have continued if the door to his right didn't blast open knocking both White and Skull to the left. White had stopped screaming and had already blacked out from the pain. Skull, as if he hadn't been hurt at all rose up. Standing in the doorway was the old man. "Enough!" The old man with the long beard said, spotting Smiles and Ivory. He had yet to see Skull.

It hadn't been a pleasant trek up the stairs, that was for sure. Ivory could lift Arya because she was much lighter than she was but after a while, Arya did finally feel much heavier. As they went up the steps, Ivory was the last of their group to finally make it to the floor they finally reached. It was a lucky thing she received a lot of training from Smiles or she wouldn't have made it this far supporting someone's unconscious body all the way up. When they got there, she finally took notice of the fact that they all now knew where the spiky haired one had gone.
As she went, she heard Artemis. It took her a moment to answer him. 'Your guess is as good as mine. Something has him interested in her. What that is, I don't know.'
All this time, he had been waiting for them up here. He was probably kept up here as a last line of defense against them. Unfortunately, Ivory didn't think he was going to make it. Upon spotting them, it was clear that shock was written all over their face. As he examined each of them, he eventually spotted Arya whom Ivory was supporting. If he were to lunge for her, there wouldn't be any way for her to defend against him. Hopefully, for his friend's sake, he didn't try something like that. Arya wasn't dead, she was very much alive. Of course, there was no way for White to be able to tell from his standpoint. In his eyes, she most likely appeared dead and his reaction wasn't unexpected.
Ivory just looked back at White as he spat at them, saying he wouldn't allow them to pass and that he would kill each and every one of them. Ivory grew uneasy only because she knew he was standing in Skull's way. He would not permit her or Smiles to interfere with this situation. If he wanted, Skull could most likely kill the guy. Ivory mentally urged the other to go away but there was no way that was going to happen. He was angry at them and would not back away from a fight. Ivory could do nothing as she remained in place with Arya, carrying her still.
During the exchange with Skull, Ivory cringed at what she heard White say last. That had not been the wisest thing to say to Skull and right now, Ivory had the feeling that Skull just might actually kill him. Without hesitation, Skull had lunged for him. What happened next made Ivory cringe even more and even recoil. Skull had thrown him up against the door and by the sound of it, broke something. After that, Skull began to beat on him breaking more bones! Ivory became conflicted. This was Darius's friend and if he died, Darius would be pissed. Before she could shout at Skull, or do anything in general, the door suddenly burst open and threw White and Skull aside.
White didn't move or get back up after that. Now, Ivory found herself and Smiles looking back at the elderly keyblade master. No doubt, this was their target. He had shouted enough, no doubt having heard or seen what had been taking place.
