Having taken one last glance at the scene in Enchanted Dominion, Ivory had followed after Skull and Smiles through the portal that the fissure leader had torn open for them. In front of her, she could see Smiles carrying Arya. She wasn't sure why Snake could want her. How did he even know of the young girl to begin with? It was pretty strange and Ivory wondered if Skull had actually wanted her but why would he lie about something like that? Chances are, he was right in saying Snake had wanted her.
Quietly, she followed their lead. Once they came out on the other end of the portal, Ivory looked around at the headquarters. Was it their's or was it the fissure's? There were still parts of the committee's headquarters that she was learning about. Glancing over at where the others were going, Ivory trudged along after them in silence.
The main question in her mind as she went was wondering what could Snake possibly want with the young mage girl. Was it really for her powers or was there something else? Would Snake even inform them of what he would be doing? Once again, she was running into some curious questions. All the while, she bothered neither of the other two as they walked.
In her mind, she went over the events that took place back in the world they had just returned from. Darius had accumulated a few more friends since last she saw him. It wasn't a surprise to her though. Darius usually was the more social out of them. Still, she couldn't help but feel bad having to hurt them like they did. They were in the way. Smiles and she would've been able to kill them if they wanted to. It was a lucky for them that Skull permitted her and Smiles to take care of them. If he hadn't, they could've been killed. Smiles and herself were against killing them only because Ivory mainly was. Smiles, she really appreciated the fact that he hadn't killed any of them. She really owed him a lot.
However, the fact they had captured one of Darius's friends worried her. Skull had also probably killed one of them. Darius would never forgive her. In a way, it saddened her despite the fact she had been so angry with him. They were never going to reunite on friendly terms. Fate just wasn't going to work that way and she knew it. What lay in store for the girl, Ivory didn't know but she hoped they weren't going to torture her.

Artemis could hear the regret in Ivory. He didn't understand it. "If this bothers you so much... Why are you continuing it? No offense but you never would have been my first selection for an assassin Ivory. Your doing well for who you are. But there is nothing wrong with getting out of the game.... If you can anyway."
That was the thing Artemis did know very well. Once you wrapped yourself in an assassin organization, it was very hard to break free. Given the fact that traitors often faced death, one had to be highly skilled to get through it. Even in the end, Artemis hadn't escaped death. It had caught up to him in the form of a necromancer.
They had returned to their base, not the fissures. However as they climbed the moving staircase and into the lounge, it was quite clear that many of thing things that were once in the lounge were gone. The moving had continued with them being absent. No doubt in a few more days they would leave here for good, retreating to the fissures base indefinitely.
Going past the main staircase, for the first time Smiles led Ivory past the main conference room. She had never been to the upper portions of their base. It was pretty much like the other hallways, except for the fact that it continued upward. As they went they passed by a few more stray offices. Who they belonged too, it was sort of hard to tell.
Finally they came to Snake's office. It was the last door on the right. Skull, who was leading them, didn't wait to knock. He simply opened the door and walked in. Following, Smiles found Snake starring at the portrait of his family on the wall. There were the familiar pictures of the desert and even a cactus plant growing in the corner. Snake's trench coat hung from a coat stand, and his cowboy hat rested on top.
He had been standing and starring at his picture at their arrival. Turning to greet them he smiled when he spotted Smiles with Arya. "I take it that there was success?" Snake asked. He immediately walked over to Smiles, and took Arya form him. There was a single black couch against the wall, and he laid her ontop it.
Skull was the one to respond, "The old man is dead. And another of my children have been born. However the humans there expected us. They were prepared."
This troubled Snake, his eyes narrowed. "How?" That was a good question. No one though had the answer.
Smiles didn't really care. "What's with the girl?" He asked abruptly.
Snake glanced over to him. "The girl is the only necromancer alive. I have been searching for her. And now that I found her.... My dreams are going to be realized."
Looking over to Arya, Smiles found his head titling in interest. So she was a necromancer. A forbidden type of magic... Smiles wondered just how Snake planned on using her. Looking up at the picture that Snake had been looking at, Smiles had a pretty good idea of what he might just whom he might want to resurrect.
"You two can go now Smiles... I will tell you when I have another mission for you. I must speak to Skull." Smiles, smiling despite his eyes narrowing in suspicion, nodded. He turned around and went ahead and closed the door behind himself and Ivory. Well if he was not needed then he had his own things he wanted to do.
He opened a portal before them. "You ready for another trip to the past?" Smiles asked. However it was not Timeless River that they would be returning too.

Ivory just shook her head at what Artemis was saying. 'I had no choice. It was either death or join at the time. I was separated from my brother with nowhere to go. As anyone would do, I chose life in joining. It's because of that, I've been bumping into my brother at least twice now. I can't go back. I do agree with what you said about me not being the type someone would choose to work as an assassin but I've managed. Smiles had really put me through the works and I've come through every time. It's been kill or be killed since I've joined. My will to live is what has kept me going for so long. I'm sure since you're stuck in my body as well that you don't feel like dying anytime soon, correct? Either way, I know I can't return. I'll get over it eventually.' She probably wasn't as truthful on that last part but she didn't care right now. The whole thing was complicated.
One thing she had to wonder though was what the purpose of Artemis being put into her head had to do with anything. Why had the trial gone and done such a thing? It made no sense to her to stick another person in the same body as one person. Granted, two minds were better than one but it was strange and awkward this way. Was Artemis meant to end up existing by some other means eventually? If so, how?
'Not to sound nosy or anything but...how did you end up in that place to begin with? And just what was that trial on anyways sticking two people in one body? No offense but I find it very awkward with another person stuck in my head. Especially if they can hear my thoughts!' she asked him. There really was no sense of privacy when you had a person in your mind that could sense everything you were thinking. Not to mention the fact he was a male. God help her whenever she'd have to use the bathroom or shower or even change!
Ivory, due to her speaking to Artemis in her head, had almost accidentally bumped into Smiles from behind. Thankfully, she had pulled herself out of thinking for the time being and managed to focus on what was around her. Seeing how she nearly ran into him, Ivory had managed to stop herself only just narrowly. It really wasn't easy focusing on two things at once like this. She had a lot of getting used to depending on how long Artemis stayed in her head.
By the time she focused on her surroundings, she had noticed they were in their own headquarters. No one had officially moved just yet but going through the lounges, she could see that a lot of things had been moved out of them. Then, she realized they were in an area she did not recognize. It was one of the halls that Smiles had never taken her down before. There were offices here and there but who owned them, she didn't know. She didn't let her curiosity get the better of her and focused on following Skull and Smiles all the way to a door.
Skull didn't even wait to knock, instead he simply opened the door much like Smiles had a habit of doing, and walked right in. Smiles followed his lead and Ivory entered after them. She closed the door quietly upon entry and then turned to the others. Snake seemed to be looking at a portrait on the wall. Was it his family? One of the people in the picture resembled him to a degree, maybe a child? Could that have been his family? Probably.
Once he noticed their presence, Snake turned to them. When he did, spotting Smiles, he smiled. He claimed there had been success gathering from the fact that they had the girl with them. Skull informed him that where they had done what they were suppose to, the world had been prepared for them. It had been true. How her brother knew to be there with his friends, she'll never know. They could've coincidentally been there but it didn't seem right for that to be possible. Something or someone must've tipped them off somehow.
When Snake asked how, Ivory gave a shrug. Honestly, she didn't know and she was certain Smiles and Skull couldn't have known since she had been with them the whole time. Neither of them had strayed from the company of the others. So, neither of them could have possibly warned anyone if anyone were to do so. Ivory glanced over at the still unconscious girl. Snake had placed her upon the black leather couch he had for her to rest. Smiles took it upon himself to ask about the girl. Bringing her gaze back up to where the three men stood, Ivory listened.
According to Snake, she was the only necromancer alive. Ivory's brows rose considerably at this. No doubt, she was a rarity but what could Snake want with her? She had guessed something painful had happened for Snake to create this organization. Had it anything to do with the portrait? Her eyes wandered towards it then. Maybe that was it? She didn't see any other reasons why he would find use in her other than that. Bringing her gaze back towards the others, she listened. Snake was dismissing the two of them, saying that he had to talk with Skull. Ivory gave a polite incline of her head and followed Smiles's lead out the door.
No sooner had he shut the door behind them when Smiles opened up a portal before them. Turning to him, she heard his question. Was she ready for another trip to the past? "Of course!" she said with a smile of her own. She had no idea though that it wasn't Timeless River that they would be going to.

Artemis listened to Ivory's response. He heard what she was saying, but in the back of his mind he was also thinking, "But what will happen when you meet your brother? What will happen when you are forced to do something you don't agree with?" Artemis knew that eventually that was going to happen. It had happened to him. And then she would be faced with a choice of leaving or living for the organization.
When Ivory asked him though about the trial, Artemis sadly didn't know much. "I was told I was needed. That I would have chance at life once more. All I had to do was find a statue in that maze." How he had ended up in that maze was a bit more complicated. The truth was that Artemis had never died. Not completely.
"My hearts been drifting for a long time..." He trailed off after that. As they made their way into the meeting room and the topic of necromancy came up, Smiles found himself experiencing a lot of overwhelming emotions. Smiles remembered very well what had happened when his heart was brought back. It was the reason he had drifted in the first place. Ivory would feel these emotions, but she wouldn't no their reason. Artemis, for the most part, remained silent.
As Smiles opened a portal, he stepped through. They found themselves standing before a strange oldish looking city. They stood in the center, where in front of them was a large square building which connected to smaller buildings, two towers one on each side, and a large gate. It looked somewhat like a fort, but there were plenty of people.
The majority were human, but about a fourth of the people were animals, similar to those of Disney Town. It was very clear though by the fact that there was nothing in black or white that this was not the Timeless River. "This is the Country of the Musketeers. But my suspicion is that this place is what we know as Traverse Town." A lot of things would change over time, but at the moment the land they stood on, was where the first District would be.
Walking among the people, Smiles headed over to the large square building at the back, the theater. He had been to this world before, but this time he was here for a purpose. This time he knew what he was looking for. And sure enough as he made his way closer to the theater, Smiles saw him. It was slightly odd to see him not in black and white, but it was clear that they were looking at Master Issac. He was dressed in a black cloak, with the hood thrown back, and his eyes stared up at the theater. He didn't stay standing in a single spot though. He pulled up his hood, and began to climb the steps to the theater.

Ivory listened as Artemis explained that he was just told that he was needed. He would have a chance at life once more and all he had to do was find a statue in the maze. Remembering the trial, Ivory sort of felt bad for what had happened but he wasn't technically dead. He existed in her head. Why, she didn't know why. Maybe the trial was just punishing her stupidity? Even so, this was one heck of a way to punish someone.
'I'm sorry.' When the topic came about how he got there, he only answered her stating that his heart had been drifting for a long time. As the topic of necromancy came up, Ivory suddenly felt a surge of emotions that she couldn't explain. She didn't know where they were coming from but due to how overwhelming they were, Ivory wasn't sure if she was going to cry or punch something. In fact, it was a huge mixture of confused feelings. She couldn't explain them but as she had stepped out of the room, they gradually went away. Ivory watched as Smiles stepped through the portal he created and she followed his lead. What they would discover this time, she wasn't sure but as soon as she reached the other end, she realized that it wasn't black and white like Timeless River had been. Everything was in color now and their appearances remained the same. 'That's better, I don't know how much of a straight face I can keep on seeing Smiles cartoony like that again!' she thought. As she glanced around, it reminded her of some kind of fort. A lot of people were walking around. Finally, Smiles spoke to her. Bringing her gaze over to her mentor, Ivory listened. "Traverse Town?" she repeated, glancing around then in wonder. She had been to Traverse Town when her world had been destroyed. Darius and Ivory had gone there in hopes of finding someone familiar from Meadows but there hadn't been any luck. They had been the sole survivors of that incident. She followed Smiles as he walked amongst the people here. Compared to everyone walking around, Smiles and Ivory stood out since they weren't animals. Eventually, they came upon what appeared to be some sort of theater. Ahead of them, Ivory could make out a figure in color. It was odd to see him in full color but there was no mistaking the rogue keyblade master. Master Isaac was standing there examining the theater. He didn't take notice of them as he went and started to climb the steps of the theater. Ivory could only wonder what it was that he was doing here.[/blockquote]

Artemis found this place very strange. He had never been to this world, and was slightly confused when Smiles said that they were going to the past. How were they in the past? Hearing Ivory's thoughts he was welcomed with a picture of Smiles in cartoon form. He had to admit he looked pretty ridiculous.
If this was the past, then what were they doing here? Hearing Smiles tell Ivory that this was Traverse Town in the past, he glanced with Ivory. "How does a world like this exist?" All that he knew about dark corridors was that they could only travel to existent worlds. This traveling through time was a different experience.
When they came upon the theater, and the man that Smiles was apparently looking for, Artemis found himself studying the man from behind. Why did he look so familiar? It was when Ivory thought his name that he responded, 'Oh hell no!" Why the heck were they following him!
Smiles, unaware of the things going on inside Ivory's head. Followed Master Issac. They followed him as he made his way into the theater. It was a bit odd to be a theater when it was empty. The lights were off, but the entrance room was lit by the windows of the building. Two staircases against the wall led to an uperdeck and clear double doors. Also there was a door directly across as well, and a side door. Master Issac went for the side door, so Smiles followed.
If this was a theater, the side door would lead to behind the stage, while going straight or up the stairs, would lead to the sitting section of the theater. Whatever Master Issac was doing here, he was heading behind the stage. Smiles was pretty confident that this world was very much like the last world.
"This world is the same as Timeless River. No matter what we do the world seems to reset, as well as following a certain path. I have never been here though when he was." Master Issac made his way down a hall until he came to a door that opened to reveal backstage. There were dressing rooms that they passed, wardrobes with different costumes, and even some different stage crops.
However Master Issac headed right for the stage. Then he stopped. Turned around. And looked directly at them. This took Smiles off guard, and he even glanced to Ivory. Was he looking at them? Smiles was going to speak, but the answer to that question came in the form of a dark portal opening directly in front of them. As it closed, Smiles watched another person in a black cloak with his hood pulled up walk over to Master Issac.
Master Issac was the first to take his hood off, revealing his young face and long red hair. The figure with their back turned to them, pulled theirs back to reveal blond hair and pointed ears. If the keyblader recognized this elf, their was no recognition on his face. The elf was the one to break the silence.
"You are he? You are the one who traveled to the Heart of Darkness?"
Master Issac opened his palm and his malformed keyblade appeared. It seemed to Smiles that there was going to be a fight.

Ivory got a sudden feeling of laughter creeping up at the imagery of cartoon Smiles again. Holding it back to the best of her abilities, Ivory focused on the surrounding area. Last thing she needed was for Smiles to discover why she had a sudden fit of laughter. Yes, it was a very lucky thing they weren't in Timeless River.
As she walked, she heard Artemis. 'We're not sure. According to Smiles, there are worlds that have formed that are connected to those in the present. This is the second world he has brought me to that is stuck in the past.' No sooner had she finished that thought when they finally came upon the theater. It was easy to see that it was a theater considering the large curtain and the stage.
When she realized who the figure was that they were looking at, she heard a sudden outburst from Artemis. It gave Ivory a sudden jolt, making her almost reel back in surprise. She didn't know why but sudden alarm had filled her. 'Something wrong?' she asked him but Smiles was already heading off after the rogue keyblade master. Not wasting anymore time, she quickened her pace to catch up with him.
They followed the master all the way into the theater. It was dark inside, making Ivory glance around in case there might be something to watch out for. Master Isaac lead them through a door and a series of dress rooms and wardrobes. As they went, she heard Smiles telling her that it was like Timeless River in the sense that it seemed to repeat itself, following a set path. No matter what they would do here, things wouldn't change. It would all just simply reset. "Okay!" she replied as they made it to the stage.
Master Isaac did something very unexpected. He abruptly turned around and appeared to be looking directly at them! Ivory went still, not sure how to react. Smiles, very much like her, seemed surprised. They exchanged surprised glances, neither of them moving. Smiles went to speak but a portal suddenly opened up before them. That was probably what had directed the master's attention. Ivory breathed a little in relief.
Gazing at the new arrival that had just come through, Ivory could see a person with a hood pulled up over their head approach him. Who was that? As she watched, the figure revealed who they were by dropping their hood down. He had blond hair and pointed ears and was inquiring if Master Isaac had been the one to travel to the heart of darkness. Without even saying a word, Master Isaac drew his deformed keyblade, a fight looked like it was about to begin. 'Huh, an elf.'

Artemis was confused. Why was Master Issac here? And why was Lakari, Artemis recognized the elf pretty easily, even though he looked a bit younger, here as well? "The elf's name is Lakari. And he is not an enemy to Issac."
Proving this, the elf held up his hands. "I am not here to fight..." His voice trailed off. If this managed to convince Master Issac though, that remained to be seen.
Smiles wondered just what this had to do with anything. Was he wrong in coming here? He thought that since this world was locked in the past, that it had something to do with the fissures. Yet there seemed to be none. "Then what do you want?"
Master Issac seemed almost bored as he let his keyblade disperse. His eyes floated to the theater around them, finding them more of interest then the elf. Lakari grinned. "Power. I want the power you possess. The power to rule. To do things as I see fit. I want to be unbreakable. I want the power to make people bow before me."
Issac glanced over to the elf. "You would be willing to sacrifice your own being for your power?"
The elf's eyes widened. "I will do anything for it! Sacrifice anything!"
Master Issac sighed. "I have not yet obtained ultimate power. But I have gained a knowledge and a power that can only be found in darkness. But to have complete power, you must have both darkness and light." As he spoke he held out one hand and then the other. "Become my apprentice. And I will give you the darkness, and together we will search for the light."
Smiles watched the elf bow to one knee. "I accept... Master." Master Issac summoned his keyblade once more. He rose it, so that the tip was pointed at Lakari's head. A soft black glow formed at the tip of the blade and shot out and into the elf's skull.
"Rise. You are now connected to me. Go and bring back a living person. Only through death can one travel to the Heart of Darkness." Lakari rose, and nodded. He summoned a corridor of darkness and stepped through it.

Ivory rose her eyebrows in response to hearing what Artemis had to say. Apparently, he knew the elf and judging his reaction the last time, he might've also known Master Isaac. 'So you know them, then?' she replied but they fell into silence as they watched the scene play out before them. As Artemis had said, the elf had said that he wasn't an enemy to Master Isaac. Judging by the way they were interacting, these two were meeting for the first time.
Lakari, the elf, was power hungry and had wanted to obtain whatever power that Master Isaac had obtained. This, of course, confused Master Isaac as he asked him if the elf was willing to sacrifice his being for it. The elf just said he'd sacrifice anything. Ivory could only furrow her brows at that.
Master Isaac seemed to consider the elf for a moment before saying that he hadn't gained ultimate power but had gained a knowledge and a power through darkness. As he was saying this, Ivory was half expecting a fissure to pop up out of the blue. As she looked around though, she saw nothing that remotely looked like a fissure. It was just them, the elf and Master Isaac here. In order for the elf to have complete power, he needed both darkness and light according to Master Isaac. If the elf wanted to gain that power, he had to become Isaac's apprentice in which he would give him darkness and then together they would search for the light.
Ivory and Smiles watched as Lakari bowed to one knee before Master Isaac, calling him master. No doubt, he was accepting Master Isaac as his master so that he could be his apprentice. Master Isaac held out his blade and shot something dark at Lakari's forehead. Once that was done, he had told him to go and find a live person. Judging by the last bit he said, Ivory guessed that they would be murdering someone today to travel to this "Heart of Darkness". Nodding, Lakari had left through a portal.
Ivory said nothing, only watched wondering what this part had to do with anything. Master Isaac seemed to create those creatures. Did he know he created them? Where were the fissures now in all of this? Was Master Isaac one? As she looked at his eyes, she saw no visible signs of him being possessed by a fissure.

Smiles, not impressed by any of this, was more in tune to their surroundings. They were pretty much on stage behind a closed curtain to their let. To their right was a scenery photo of a large blue sea. At the corner was a sun, and Smiles could even make out a ship in the distance. It was not a picture he had ever seen before, or of a real place for that matter.
Perhaps it was because he was looking at their surroundings that a movement from the shadows caught his eye. Head turning sharply, he watched a shadow shoot from its gathered darkness and along the floor. Was it a heartless perhaps?
Whatever it was, Master Issac seemed to notice it. He suddenly spun towards the shadow, shooting a ray of dark energy from his keyblade. It struck the shadow, and caused it to literally flip. As the shadow flipped Smiles found himself starring at the fissure from before. It was still alot more humanoid then the creatures they had seen. It stood on its two legs and swayed as its yellow eyes studied Master Issac with a tilt of its head.
"You have been following me for a while now creature. You do not attack, simply watch. Why?!" Master Issac shouted, letting a burst of fire escape from his keyblade and slam into the ground next to the fissure. The fissure leaped to the left in response to this, but did not go back to its shadow form. It continued to study the keyblade master.
It had no mouth to talk, but Smiles watched a mouth begin to form. The bottom part of its face ripped. "Crea.....ture...?" It said, having trouble saying the word.
Master Issac raised his keyblade and pointed it at the fissure. "You can speak?"
The fissure repeated the same process as before, sounding out the word speak. "He showed me what I was." The voice came from behind Smiles and Ivory, and this time Smiles did jump. Standing behind them was Skull!

Ivory gave a silent sigh to herself. It didn't look like anything fissure was in the immediate area. Of course, since she wasn't looking around as much as Smiles had been, keeping her gaze fixed on the keyblade master should something else happen next, she did not see the shadow moving. Master Isaac seemed to take notice though which had alerted to Ivory that something was taking place. She watched as the keyblade master held out his weapon and aimed it at some point in the shadows.
Shooting forth dark energy from his weapon, Ivory followed what direction he had launched the energy to and saw something falling to the floor. There, she saw the humanoid fissure before her. It was the first one. Realizing this, Ivory turned to face it as Master Isaac spoke to it. He claimed it had been following him but never attacking, only watching.
As he made his demands, Isaac launched a fireball near the fissure as if he were trying to scare it or something. Instead, the fissure merely side stepped the energy fired at it before tilting its head as if curious. As she watched it, she saw something like a mouth form on it. When it did so, it repeated the word creature, sounding it out. As it did so, Isaac raised his weapon, pointing it at the fissure surprised that it could speak. When he said the word speak, the fissure repeated the word like it did creature, sounding it out.
Ivory hadn't noticed that Skull had arrived. When he spoke, even she jumped a foot in the air, whirling on the spot to find him there. Her heart felt like it had just stopped. How did he find them? Had he followed them through the portal? Did Smiles forget to close the portal or had the fissure leader known about them all along? 'Uh oh...not good!' she thought worriedly.

Skull actually chuckled in response, though it sounded odd being muffled by his visor. "You humans are very predictable." Smiles was not only not smiling, but had his gun out as well. Artemis, inside Ivory's head, was alert as well.
"Be ready for an attack. It could come quickly." He told Ivory.
Smiles was ready to defend if he had too. He didn't know what to say. He sort of felt like a little kid caught with his hand in the cookie jar. "I am not of this existence. I can see you there, as I can see you now. I knew you would be coming here, for I have seen it back in this time." Skull rose his hand and pointed to the fissure that was stood on the other side. Even now its head was still studying Issac.
"Then what are you fissure?"
Skulls attention turned to Smiles, his eyes holding the same boredom he often had when talking with him, Snake, or even any human. "Half of something and half of nothing. And it is only because of you humans that we are this way. But soon that will change. We will be complete and humans will be the ones who are half of nothing."
Smiles, smiling like always, decided to challenge Skull. "And just how do you plan on doing that?" To his surprise Skull laughed again.
"Your organization is doing it for me human."
Smiles glanced over to the fissure on the other side of the room. "Where did you come from then Fissure?"
Arm extending, he pointed to Master Issac. "Him. He just said it. For power you must sacrifice yourself. He sacrificed half of his being when he entered the Heart of Darkness. And I am that half."
"And what of the other fissures?" Smiles asked.
Skull responded, "They are born from the bodies that your organization killed. And like me, they too seek to be complete. I am the hand that guides them."
Smiles didn't like that answer. He didn't like any of this. "And what if I stand against you?"
The boredom in Skulls eyes was replaced by menace. "Then you shall die, like they do."

Ivory breathed for a moment as the leader of the fissures gave a laugh at their reactions. She didn't like the sound of it. It sounded unsettling. What was going to happen here? As she glanced over at Smiles, she could see that he wasn't smiling at all and had his gun out, aiming it at the fissure. No matter how she looked at it, they had been caught red handed.
As she stood there, trying to allow her heart some time to calm a bit, she heard Artemis alert her to the fact that an attack could come quickly. 'Lucky thing I never dismissed my armor then!' she replied. The only thing that had been sent away had been her naginata.
Ivory watched Skull as he stated they were so predictable. As she stood there, she listened as Skull informed them that he wasn't of this existence. He could see them as clearly now as he could see then. Apparently, the creature here could actually see them in this time like his present self could. It was after this information that Smiles asked what Skull was. Skull revealed that fissures were half of nothing and half of something. They planned to make that change so that the fissures would be complete and the humans would be half of nothing. Ivory furrowed her brows at this. What was he going on about?
Quietly, Ivory glimpsed Smiles. There was a smile on his face again as he asked Skull how he planned on doing that. Silently, she turned her gaze back toward Skull. Skull merely laughed again at that question sending another unpleasant chill down Ivory's spine. According to Skull, they were doing that for him. Smiles then demanded to know where the fissure had come from.
Ivory followed Skull's pointed finger to where Master Isaac was. Isaac had apparently sacrificed half of his being to gain power when he had gone into the Heart of Darkness. Skull was Master Isaac's half. Bringing her gaze back between the two, Ivory listened as Smiles asked about the other fissures. Skull explained that they were the same and that he was the hand that guided them. Ivory didn't like the sound of any of this. These creatures, the fissures, were bad news for all of human existence. It sounded like he wanted to destroy them all or do them great harm. First, he would most likely start with those humans closest to them. That was their organization.
Watching Smiles's subtle movements, she could tell that this was going to turn into a fight at some point. Still, she made no move in case it triggered Skull into action. Anything could start it now. As she stood there, she heard Smiles's question about what Skull would do if he stood against them. Instead of the bored look, Ivory saw that menacing gaze once again. Hearing his words, she didn't doubt the creature would try to kill them. It was at this moment that Ivory summoned her naginata to her hands and got into a battle ready stance. Would they fight here and now? Either way, she watched Skull very carefully for any sudden movement. No doubt, slicing him with her weapon would not do much of anything in this fight but she could definitely use it to block.
'Judging by the fact he has revealed this much to us, he may be considering to try and kill us right here and now!' she thought but no doubt, Artemis would hear since he was always present in her mind. Honestly, Ivory wasn't sure how she'd be able to handle a fight with the leader of the fissures. Still, she wouldn't back down.

Smiles knew that they were on thin ice. There was no way that the fissure would reveal this much openly. He either thought they were no threat at all. Or was merely informing them of what they wanted to know before they killed them. Still as Smiles thought over Skull's words he realized something. If they were born of half of a person, then that meant that they were born of humans. So by that nature they were not superior beings. As Skull had tried to hone into him before. Ivory had been in the rings during that conversation.
There was definitely tension in the air. Skull had not moved, and neither had Smiles. The truth was Smiles was not ready to take on the fissures yet. Even though Skull had volunteered information, he still did not know how to defeat them. Smiles lowered his gun, and let it disperse.
Skull, noticing this, let out another chuckle. "You humans.... such predictability." The menace in his eyes were replaced with boredom once more. "I care not if you wish to continue your search of the relationship between myself and that man. But I will answer your questions no more human. Be weary that your use to us is beginning to dwindle."
Turning away, Skull began to make an exit. Smiles stopped it though with one question he wanted to ask. "Why is it that you are so much more powerful then the rest of your kind?"
"Continue your search... and perhaps you will find out." Skull then disappeared from around the corner. Smiles found himself relaxing again. Even Artemis felt an ease of tension in the air.
"Good to see that he left." Skull was a creature that definitely caused fear.

Ivory looked between Skull and Smiles. If it broke out into a fight, she'd step in to help Smiles. Granted, she probably wasn't as skilled as he was but she'd sure as hell try. One thing that they didn't know was how to effectively eliminate a fissure. At least, not one of Skull's standing. He, no doubt, had to be the strongest of his kind being the first. How he got so much stronger though remained yet to be seen. Smiles and Ivory would just have to investigate further.
After a moment, Smiles had lowered his gun and allowed it to disperse. Ivory looked from him to Skull. The menace had gone away, this time leaving a bored expression on Skull's face. The tension seemed to ebb away a bit as Ivory remained put. Still, she hadn't dispersed her own weapon. Yes, she had dropped her battle stance but she still kept her weapon just in case. There was no telling what Skull would do.
Skull had chuckled in response to Smiles dismissing his gun. Only then did he mock them, saying how humans were so predictable. Ivory just said nothing as she watched carefully. If she had to, she had her weapon if Skull decided to attack. It felt like it wasn't but it was good to be alert in case. She listened as Skull claimed that he didn't care about them continuing to research his relationship with Master Isaac. However, he wasn't going to answer anymore questions that Smiles had and that he should be wary since their use was dwindling. With that, Skull turned away from them, about to take his leave from them.
Smiles interrupted him before he could successfully leave their presence by asking him how he was so much more powerful than the rest of his kind. Ivory allowed her gaze to settle on Skull's back as he had stopped. All he said simply was for Smiles and Ivory to continue their search and that perhaps they would find out. With that, Skull was gone. Seeing that he had taken his leave of them, Ivory breathed in and let out a silent sigh of relief. The tension in the air had gone along with Skull.
'More like lucky thing he left.' She looked over at Smiles. He, too, appeared to be relieved. "That was...informational...suspenseful...close."

Artemis agreed with Ivory. They were lucky that Skull had left. Artemis had no clue about what might happen if Ivory died with him in her body. He didn't really want to think about it either. There situation was slightly sensitive.
Smiles agreed with Ivory as well. However he didn't have time to say anything to her. A corridor of darkness appeared once more by Master Issac. Glancing over at it, Smiles also noted that the younger version of Skull was gone. The elf returned, with a small human boy about seven years old clutched by an arm. The boy looked frightened and confused.
The elf looked to Master Issac. "Here is your life. Now do it! Make me powerful!" He threw the boy to the floor.
Master Issac shook his head. "It must be you who does the deed. For only the one who creates the door may enter it."
The elf became frustrated. "But how! I am not a keyblader. I cannot open doors!"
Master Issac shook his head. "I will open it for you. And you must enter it." Master Issac reached into his cloak and pulled out a curved dagger. He tossed it to the elf. Snatching it out of the air, the elf stared at it, confused as to what to do.
"Kill him." A sound of pleas came from the child. He tried to scurry away even from the elf, getting as far as half way towards them before the elf grabbed him by the arm and stabbed the knife into his heart.
Smiles watched the death, slightly disgusted with the scene. He did not condone killing a child. Artemis was of the same nature. He refused to kill someone under the age of sixteen. Only the dirtiest of assassins did those jobs. And even they were seen as the lowest of the low among their organization.
A light of darkness came from Master Issac's raised keyblade and a keyhole formed over the dying child. Turning his keyblade, the sound of a door being unlocked could be heard. And then similar to what happened with Master Issac, Lakari disappeared.

Their brief moment of relief had been interrupted with the arrival of a dark corridor. Turning, Ivory spotted Lakari the elf with a young boy grasped by the arm. Judging by the look on the boy's face, he was confused, maybe even scared. Lakari threw the boy at the floor, stating that he had found the life that Master Isaac had requested and was now demanding that he made him powerful. Master Isaac just shook his head at this.
Ivory furrowed her brows. She could already guess what they were getting to. Master Isaac explained that only the one that did the deed could walk through the door. Of course, this angered the elf because he wasn't a keyblade wielder. He couldn't open doors like Master Isaac could with his weapon. Isaac put his protests to rest by stating that he would unlock the door for Lakari but Lakari must enter it himself. Ivory watched as Isaac took out a curved dagger and tossed it to Lakari, who snatched it out of the air.
With that, Master Isaac told him two words. It was an order to kill them little boy. Ivory looked on with anger and disdain. Someone killing a child bothered her greatly. Unfortunately, since this was the past, she knew there was nothing that she could do about it. She could do nothing but watch with hatred at what these men were doing. She had closed her eyes when the elf did the deed so as to not see it. When she opened her eyes again to look upon the scene, she could see the boy dying and a keyhole appearing above his body.
The keyhole had been produced from the light of darkness that was emitted from Master Isaac's keyblade. As he gave his weapon a turn, there was the sound of something unlocking. Then, very much like what Isaac had done, Lakari had disappeared from sight. No doubt, probably about to produce another being like Skull. 'I wonder what he's going to create? I thought Skull was the oldest of the fissures though?'

Ivory was right, but Smiles had not thought of it. "Most likely another fissure." Artemis responded. He watched Master Issac as they all waited to see what would happen. It wasn't too long before a sort of portal appeared above the boys body. Lakari fell out of the portal, breathing deeply on his arms and knees.
Master Issac seemed to study him with interest. As the portal began to close, Ivory's previous question was answered. A shadow fell out of the portal just before it closed. It had the exact same form as the fissure from before. Like before this one was more humanoid then the fissures they had experienced. But this time the fissure was noticed by Issac. And he did not hesitate.
Issac's keyblade flew from his hand, as if an invisible being was holding it. Of course Artemis knew that it was Issac himself who was controlling his keyblade. It flew forward, rose in an arc, and slashed the fissure clear in half. It didn't stand a chance. Lakari, turned about and the sound of the fissure's screech shook the room.
Lakari looked puzzled. "Wha... what was that?"
Master Issac strolled forward and held out his hand for Lakari to take. The elf took it and rose to a stand. "Nothing important." The portal had finished closing, and all that remained was the dead boy on the floor.
The elf, had a new aura of darkness around him. "I can feel it in my veins! The power! But it is not enough! I need more. Is there more?"
Master Issac, who stood taller then the elf, looked down with eyes narrowed. "Enjoy what you have now. Time will grant you power." Lakari smiled and nodded, and seemed to convince Issac. It did not convince Smiles.
"Interesting. He is not at all as settled with just waiting as it seems."
Master Issac stepped forward, standing before the edge of the stage and towards the audience. "I have my own things I need to do here. You may go disciple. I will call upon you when I need you."
The elf bowed, retreating. "As you wish." Turning about, the elf waved his hand and summoned a portal in front of him and disappeared inside it.

Ivory watched closely, curious of what would be coming back out of the door. Seeing as Lakari was an elf, she had to wonder if what would be returning would actually be a fissure or not. After all, fissures had been apparently born from humans. Elves were a different race. They were not human from her understanding since they were immortal. That is, of course, unless they were killed by normal means. Other than that, age and disease would not kill them like it would a human being.
'Maybe...Lakari's an elf though. There's a slight chance he could probably produce something different. A different type of fissure, I would think.' As she watched, a portal like with Thomas's dead body had appeared over the dead boy's body. Out of it came Lakari. Judging by the look of him, he had experienced something strenuous. He had remained on his hands and knees, Isaac studying him with what appeared to be obvious interest. Just like before, Ivory noticed a shadow fall through the portal after Lakari.
This time was different though. Noticing the creature, Master Isaac sliced the newborn fissure in two. The creature only had the chance to screech before it was eliminated. The sound so loud it shook the room, making Ivory cover her ears a bit. Once it was gone, she removed her hands from her ears to hear what Isaac and Lakari were saying.
Lakari had been surprised about what had appeared. Isaac strode over to the elf and held out a hand to help him up. As he did so, he informed the elf that it had been nothing important. "But...if you lose half of what you are like that...wouldn't that effect you by some degree?" Ivory had said aloud. It was only for Smiles to hear since they didn't appear to be heard or even noticed by those around here except the past Skull and present Skull. With those two gone, no one here seemed to know they were there. It were as if their existence didn't exist despite them witnessing this situation in the past during their own present time. In that sense, it was different here than it was Timeless River.
The portal had closed, leaving the dead body where it was. Lakari seemed to be emitting an aura of darkness. As she took note of this, Ivory heard Lakari state that he could feel the new found power but that it wasn't enough and he needed more. Ivory furrowed her brow at this. He certainly was a power hungry soul.
Isaac seemed to notice the lust for power in this one but told him that he should be thankful with what he has for now. Power would only come with time. Lakari, Ivory figured without having to look at him, would be too impatient for something like that. She gave a nod when Smiles had spoken. "He was antsy to begin with. No doubt, he'll be trying something to get it faster. He hasn't the patience." Despite that, Isaac seemed convinced of Lakari's agreement.
With that, Isaac dismissed Lakari. Ivory watched as the elf went before turning to look at the area. Was this all? It didn't seem like they had been here for very long. She looked over at Smiles then, waiting to see what he wanted to do next.

Smiles listened to Ivory's comment but he did not have a sure answer for her. "I would think so." It was sort of hard to tell without knowing the people. The truth of the matter was that they just didn't know enough about Master Issac to tell for certain.
Artemis though did know Master Issac. He had the unfortunate luck to work underneath the man. "Master Issac was very unpredictable. Almost as if something was missing mentally. He always had some grand scheme, but he shared it with no one. But the targets he sent me to kill were often very different from my clients. They were often nobodies, people who you never would have guessed had a hit out for them."
Of course Artemis's last client ended up being his own brother. They never had the chance to ever talk about their parents. Artemis for one had more memory of his mother. He had hoped to one day share that with Red. However the time never came. Thinking about his brother, Artemis felt a sadness that would definitely be felt by Ivory.
Smiles, unaware of the conversation, watched Master Issac. He had said he had other things to do, yet he continued to stare out into the theater. Smiles wondered just what he was doing. Was he remembering something? Waiting for someone? Who in their right mind goes to a theater and just stands there by themselves?
"I don't like that elf." The voice came from a person sitting in the front pew of the theater. A woman with light purple colored hair and dressed in barley anything except for a piece of armor that was the size of a swim suit bottom, armored arms and gloves, and a v cut piece of armor that covered the bottom of the bust and ended just above the belly button.
Even Smiles thought that the armor wouldn't protect the woman from anything. "And how long have you been watching?" Master Issac asked.
"Oh I've been here the whole time. Since the appearance of that strange shadow creature to the arrival of the elf. I for once Issac, was on time."
Master Issac walked to the end of the platform and took a seat with his legs hanging off the stage. Thinking that they could get closer without being seen, Smiles stepped forward and to the beginning of the stage. They were behind a curtain so if they could be seen, they wouldn't. But Smiles didn't think they would be seen in this world. It was a world of memory. No one could interact with it like they could in Timeless River.
"And what do you have to report?"
The woman rolled her hair around her finger as she talked. "Old geezers come back. Mr. Long Beard and the mouse think he's going after kingdom hearts. Probably is. He has the power to do it. I bet he'd ally with you if he wanted."
Master Issac shook his head. "No.... I will wait. Now is not the time."
"Do you think he'll do it? Do you think he'll succeed? If he does he will have control over everything." She asked.
Master Issac thought for a moment before he answered. "He will be stopped. He will make the same mistake his other selves have made. And for that reason the heroes of light shall win."
The woman rolled her eyes. "How can you be so certain of these things? What makes you smarter then him?"
Master Issac stood. "I have knowledge that they do not. Do not worry, I will succeed even where they fail."
A sigh escaped the woman's lips. "Well what should I do now?"
"Continue to watch them. Report to me what happens."
"Yea, yea, whatever you say Issac." Standing up, Master Issac watched the woman leave. It seemed the master's doings here were finished. He opened a portal himself and stepped through it.
