As all three placed their hands on the door, the door pulled apart by magic. The walls disappeared in the side of the cavern walls. There were no torches lighting the pathway down. However there was an odd red glow coming from down the path behind the door.
White turned back to Sky. "Are you coming with us?"
Sky shook his head. "Wait here. Go now." The broken english was back, and Sky indicated for them to get a move on. Not wanting to displease their host, White nodded and headed down the path.
The path itself was a steady drop, continuing more and more towards the glowing red light. Behind them Sky got smaller and smaller as they walked farther and farther. They crossed the path where Sky totally disappeared as they continued deeper into the earth. All the while the light began to grow stronger. Being in the nude, White became aware that the temperature around them was changing as well. It was getting hotter!
As the light grew brighter, the heat grew stronger. White felt like he was in a sweat lodge. "What, is there something burning down there?" White asked himself aloud. For a cave deep in the earth, it felt weird that the temperature was rising as they walked away from the sun.
Even the ground they walked on was hot. It wasn't burning, but it was warm. White was starting to have a bad feeling about what they were going to find ahead.
It was another fifteen minutes before they came to the end of the path. The descending path opened into a huge opening. As before, there was no sealing in sight but the room was big enough to fit ten of the stem villages. Glancing around them, White noticed several different rocks formations.
"So you are the three!" A male voice boomed in all of their heads. White found himself covering his ears almost as if he could block out how loud the voice was. The voice itself was of no one he had ever heard before. It had a distinct quality and had spoken in an almost amused matter.
Glancing around, White looked over to Darius and Lance. Had they heard it too? A sudden gust of wind from above sent White's eyes looking up. There he saw the source of the glowing a red light. A fifty foot dragon landed in front of White, Darius, and Lance, its scales burning with living fire over them. The dragon's yellow eyes studied them and White suddenly became very scared once more.

Once Lance, Darius and White had placed their hands upon the door, the door seemed to have disappeared into a path it suddenly opened up before them. Blinking, Darius wondered what could lay ahead. There seemed to be some sort of light but it was rather faint. In here, it felt warmer than the other paths they've traveled in. Darius just figured it was because it must've been a more enclosed space as he followed White and Lance down the path.
Sky had said that he wouldn't be going with them and that they were to go. As they got further in, Darius and Lance had to wonder the same thing as White. It was, indeed, growing gradually hotter the closer they got to the light that they saw. As it got brighter, Darius had to wonder. "Maybe it's some sort of underground volcano?" It was a possibility.
When they finally came out of the path and into where the path had lead them, Darius and Lance could feel just how intense the heat got here. It wasn't easy to ignore. Then, suddenly, a voice reached them. Darius and Lance winced, bringing hands to their foreheads in response since the being had pretty much been akin to yelling in their minds. "Argh, what-?" Darius began but cut himself short. Lance looked between the other two. They seemed to have heard it all at once.
Then, why Darius cut himself short had drawn the attention of Lance as well. Flying above them, coming to a landing, was a fifty foot tall dragon whose body was in flames! It was looking down upon them, studying them. "Uh..." How the heck were any of them to respond at a time like this? Was this thing about to eat them? Had the dragon been what had spoken to them? It seemed it, there didn't appear to be anyone else around here...was there?
"Oh...fudge!" Darius responded, looking up at the massive dragon. Like the other two, Darius was pretty sure he would've fainted at this point as he gazed at the dragon. Were they suppose to fight this thing?

The dragon landed in front of them, opened its mouth, and let out a ferocious roar. White could feel the heat of the dragon now more then ever. He stepped back, wanting very much to be as far away from the creature as possible. The dragon lowered its head, its eyes starring at the three of them.
"You humans are always such small creatures!" The voice boomed in their head again.
White clutched his head once more. Why did the voice have to be so loud? White really wished he had his weapon right now. He glanced over to Darius. "Should we run?"
The dragon lowered its head and placed it on the ground. "Now why would you do that?! You came here just for me did you not?"
White clutched his ears again. "You're the one talking to us?" The dragon's head moved up and down in a nodding motion.
"I am bound to this cave. However I was told that one day three individuals would come. I was to help them, not eat them. Though.... you do look tasty. I haven't had human meat in a while... Maybe just a little nibble.... No no no I promised. No eating them."
Giving a nervous glance towards Darius and Lance, White know knew for sure it was the dragon speaking to them. And it seemed like it was debating eating them. "You don't want to eat us anyway.. Were sweaty and probably taste bad."
The dragon's mouth moved showing its teeth. White figured it was smiling, but it just made it look more frightening. "Well we better get started. I bet you're wondering just what is happening and what this is all about? I was told of your coming and to aid you when you arrived."

Darius and Lance brought hands up to their ears to block out the deafening roar of the mighty dragon before them. It was so huge that Darius was fairly certain if it wanted to that by now it could devour them with ease. Yet, it had not. Despite feeling the same as White, Darius couldn't bring himself to move right now. The dragon's might was just too much and Darius couldn't generally bring himself to move. Even if they tried to get away, this dragon could easily clear the distance between them and it in no time flat. It would be a foolish attempt to try and run.
Lance said nothing, standing his ground but just as uneasy as Darius and White. Dragons were sacred beings. He had known of dragons on his homeworld but none as mighty as the one that now stood before them with its head lowered. As it stared at them, they heard that voice in their heads again. It was just as loud as the previous as it called them such small creatures. Well, they definitely did feel like they were ants compared to this mighty beast.
Darius looked back over at White when he asked if they should run. "Even if we tried, I don't think we'd get very far, White." Darius hated that feeling as he looked back at the dragon. Having heard White's and Darius's exchange, the dragon spoke again asking them why they would do that and weren't they here for him. What did the fiery beast mean by that? Were they his dinner or something? Darius certainly hoped not. He didn't want to end up as tonight's dinner for this dragon. It was at this moment when White asked if the dragon had been the one talking to them. Well, considering what the voice they heard had been saying, Darius had concluded that the dragon had to be the one speaking the entire time by now. The dragon confirmed it by nodding its massive head in response.
As Darius looked upon the dragon, he could see that this one was far different than his Sirius and Ivory's Anubis. For one, he must've been far older than they and was able to speak with them like this using telepathy. Anubis and Sirius couldn't. Whether they actually couldn't because of their age or not, Darius wasn't sure.
The three of them listened as the dragon spoke how it was bound to this cave. It had been informed of their coming though and that it was to help them, not eat them. Unfortunately, it sounded as if the dragon was truly tempted to gobble them up. 'I truly hope this dragon has good willpower or we're a snack for sure!' he thought uncertainly. Darius and Lance couldn't help but look over at White, aghast at his response to the dragon's words. Last thing they wanted to do was let it know verbally they were scared of it. Oh well, cat was out of the bag now even if it might've picked up on their uneasiness on it's own before then.
The dragon seemed to smile but seeing the sharp, pointed teeth only made it seem all the more frightening. Then, it went on to say that they should get started and that they were probably wondering about what this had been all about. Oh yes, Darius was definitely curious about what this was all about. How were they foreseen doing anything? He had figured only Arya and Mr. Thomas had known of them because of Mr. Thomas's gift. Yet, here something far more ancient seemed to have known about them before they had even come here. Who had asked this mighty dragon to aid them? Glancing at Lance and White, none of them seemed too keen on talking with their nervousness and for understandable reasons.
Darius took in a deep breath before taking a step forward a little. He had to brace himself and try to talk or this dragon could get angry at their uneasiness here. "W-We...definitely would l-like to know...m-might we ask your name? I-I'm Darius, the one on my left here with the white hair is White and the one with the blue hair on my right is Lance." Once he actually got to start talking a bit, Darius's unease began to go down a bit but not altogether. He was still quite wary for the dragon was still quite large compared to them. If they weren't careful, it could get mad at them and then they would be in for real trouble here. Dragons were to be treated with respect, after all.

The dragon listened to Darius. Its head lowered to them, its nostrils flaring up in a big rush of wind. It was smelling them! Most specifically it was smelling Darius. "Ahhh Meadows. I smell Meadows in your veins. Such a wonderful world. I had the pleasure of visiting it. How is the world? As green as ever?" The dragon boomed in all their heads.
White blinked in surprised. The dragon could tell from what world they were form by scent? How could it do that? "And you two...." The dragon took another sniff of both White and Lance. "Ah cousins from The Land of Dragons! My home! Oh how I wish I could return there. If only I could return..."
White felt like he had to rub his ears. What the heck did the dragon just say?! He glanced at Lance his face full of shock. "What?!" The dragon let out a loud continuous rumble, as its stomach moved up and down and its mouth moved into a smile. The dragon was laughing!
"You asked me my name Meadows human. I have a very long and boring name. Drake will do just fine. That was the name he gave me. You have his blood, but you do not." The dragon first indicated Lance speaking of he being the one who had the blood, and then White, the person who did not.
White was just very confused. What the heck did the dragon mean he was Lance's cousin! Suddenly his eyes narrowed. "Drake was the name of the man who told you of are coming named Justice?"
The dragon's eyes perked up. "Ah yes! That was the human's name. I remember now."

Darius tried his best to remain poised as the dragon seemed to be sniffing them. Was he considering whether they smelled good? If that was the case, they were in very deep trouble! It wasn't until the dragon mentioned Meadows. Darius's eyebrows rose with astonishment. Somehow, it could smell his world on him after years of him not being on that world. It had even known of the world and had actually visited it once! What it asked him next though replaced Darius's astonishment with some regret.
"...It was...it isn't, anymore. Meadows was destroyed by the Heartless..." he trailed off. Lance hadn't known that about Darius's world and therefore looked over at him with a sense of pity and sympathy. He didn't know what it was like to lose one's world but it didn't sound pleasant. Heartless truly were fiends.
Lance stiffened when the dragon suddenly addressed White and him. Taking another great whiff, sniffing them, the dragon mentioned they were cousins of Land of Dragons. The dragon had originated from there, his home. Unfortunately, he could not return to it. Why was he bound to this cavern? Had some kind of spell been placed upon himself? Lance had to wonder too though, what did the dragon mean by them being cousins? "What?!" he exclaimed in unison with White. At their reaction, the dragon gave a laugh in response before speaking again. It was difficult to get used to such a booming voice in one's head.
Darius listened as the dragon stated his name was long and boring. The name they could refer to him as was Drake, it had been a name he had given him. Just who was he? The one that foresaw their coming? What the dragon said next though was surprising. He had indicated Lance and White, stating how Lance had his blood and how White did not. Confusedly, Darius looked back over at White and Lance. Was Drake talking about a Wilder?
Sure enough, White came to a conclusion and asked Drake if the name of the person had been Justice. Looking back over along with the other two, Darius's eyebrows rose as Drake confirmed that it had been Justice Wilder that told the dragon of their coming. Lance was surprised to hear such a thing. Foresight? How had Justice known of the fact the three of them exactly would be coming here?
"H-How-? H-How could he have...known?" Lance said with obvious surprise. Darius was wondering the same exact thing, looking between White, Lance and Drake in total confusion. How had he also been foreseen? Darius had nothing to do with the Wilder bloodline, never met a Wilder in his life up until very recently and neither did he think he'd be here in the first place if one were to have asked him back on Meadows. He was mind blown!

The dragon let out another chuckle. It was still scary to White, and he was still confused as ever. How were they cousins? It just didn't make sense! And similarly to Darius he was confused as to how his master could have known of their coming as well. The dragon lowered its head over to the three of them.
"He asked me to give you power. An easy thing to do, but not for people who are not worthy. So you must prove your worth to me! I love to play games so shall we play a game? This one is very old."
The dragon rose its head and extended its wings. "It is a game of riddles we will play. And perhaps you might learn something as well. You must answer all three riddles correctly and you must all agree on the answers first before giving me the answer. If you get them wrong... well then I do not think I shall aid you."
White crossed his arms. They were going to play a game of riddles? What were they children? White wasn't going to say that aloud though. He was wise enough to not speak out against the dragon. He didn't want to get eaten. Still he had many questions about Justice and how he had known of them. "How about a deal Drake? For every riddle we answer you must answer one of our questions. And you must answer to the best of all your knowledge."
The dragon titled his head to look at White. "Agreed!" The dragon paused a moment to think. White looked to Darius and Lance. "I say we each get one question we can ask once we get the answer right. After all there are three of us." Perhaps they might find some answers out finally. They just had to ask the right question.
The voice of the dragon boomed in their heads once more. "What can run but never walks, has a mouth but never talks, has a head but never weeps, has a bed but never sleeps?"

Darius and Lance just stood there as the dragon simply chuckled at them again. He didn't answer anything before simply stating that he was asked by Justice to give them power. It was an easy thing to do but only if they were worthy. Well, that was understandable but what was the dragon going to need them to do to prove themselves? Sure enough, that question was answered by the dragon stating that he was a fan of games and would like to do a riddle game.
They had to agree on the answers before they gave them. If they were wrong with the riddles, they would not be aided. It sounded pretty fair. "Sounds fair to me." Darius looked over at White as he asked Drake if they could make a deal along with it. For every riddle they answered, he must answer their questions to the best of his abilities. Darius looked over at the dragon who eventually accepted the deal. No doubt, there were questions White had for Drake.
When White turned to them,Lance and Darius nodded in agreement about what he said. They should all get to ask a question if they answered the riddles right. Hopefully, they could do it. When the dragon finally spoke, Darius and Lance listened carefully to the riddle the dragon uttered. Of course, Darius didn't think he'd get it at first. Turning to the other two, he tried to think but he was just drawing a blank. A head that never weeps, a bed but never sleeps, mouth but never talks and can run but never walks. He scratched his head at that one. This was more so Ivory's kind of thing. How could he even get that?
Lance gave a shrug himself, not sure what it was. "Maybe a waterfall? I don't know." He had said it to White and Darius. Darius wasn't sure if that was it.
"It does make me think of water...or some kind of plant..." Darius said, uncertain to White and Lance.

White listened to the dragon's riddle. Like Darius and Lance he drew a blink at first. He really had no clue as to what the riddle was talking about. However when Lance suggested a waterfall, White's thoughts ran parallel with Darius. It really did remind him of water. But a waterfall? Thinking about the waterfall he agreed that it fit in with everything the dragon said except for having a mouth. Did a waterfall have a mouth?
Water ran but never walked, but it didn't really have a mouth either. He definitely didn't think it was a plant. Water just made more sense to him then a plant. "I think were definitely getting somewhere with water. I don't think its a plant. A plant doesn't run." A seed might run, but a seed didn't have a head.
It had to be something with water! But what? What other types of water was there? White could think of lakes and oceans but neither of them ran. A current ran, but he was pretty sure it didn't have a head really either. Then it hit him. "A river." A river ran but it didn't walk. It had a head, a mouth, and a bed as well. He was pretty sure that had to be it.
Glancing over at Darius and Lance he knew that they all had to agree on it. "What do you guys think?" The dragon waited for them patiently.

Darius gave a shrug, he wasn't the best at this kind of thing anyway. Ivory would've understood it more but he had a feeling they were getting somewhere with the whole water thing. Still, he didn't think it was a waterfall. When White finally spoke, Darius and Lance appeared to be thoughtful for a moment. They weren't sure where the head part came from but there were riverbeds, mouths to rivers, and rivers definitely ran and didn't walk.
"Sounds right to me...I'm not sure of the head part unless that means the start of the river itself at some certain point."
Lance gave a nod in agreement with White's idea. "Yeah, river sounds right to me. Let's go with that. Since you came up with the answer, why don't you speak it to Drake and maybe even ask the question you want to?" he suggested.

"Sure sounds alright to me." White responded to his friends. He didn't mind asking a question since he came up with the answer. He looked to the dragon.
"Have you decided on your answer then?" His voice boomed in their heads. White gave the dragon a nod.
"Is it a river?" He shouted. White didn't know if he needed to shout, but he did see how far they were from the dragon given its size.
"Congratulations human. That is indeed the right answer. Now you wanted to ask me a question correct?" White knew he wanted to ask about Justice. This dragon had known his master, something he was starting to know less and less of everyday. However White knew that in the grand scheme of things, that was not the most important question he could ask. He would only be asking for his own benefit, not for the benefit of everyone.
White had done some growing mentally on this trip as well. He thought about asking the dragon about just how they were going to be given power, but he decided that too was not an important enough question. He wanted to ask something that would benefit them in their upcoming battle. He wanted to ask the dragon something that would help them understand just what was happening.
"How did Justice know we would be coming?" In the end he went with the same question that Lance had asked but was never answered.
The dragon responded this time. "His mistake shall rip the worlds, and that which should not exist shall come to existence. Three there shall be, who rise to challenge that which should not exist. Power and allies they shall gather and only together shall they be victorious. But victory comes at a cost! And he shall rise under the name Emperor, and the worlds shall fall under his army." The dragon spoke as if he was citing some ancient text from memory. "That is the part you play in the ancient prophecy. It is a long prophecy, but it is the answer to your question. Prophecy was how he knew three shall come."
White was never a fond person of prophecy. Justice had never once mentioned prophecy during their time together. Now he just felt like there was more and more he did not know about his master. Perhaps Justice did not know that they would be the three to come here then. More likely it seemed he knew that three would come, but not who.
"Now your second riddle! What has roots that nobody sees, and is taller than trees. Up, up it goes, and yet it never grows. What is it?"

Darius and Lance watched as White shouted to the dragon his answer. Sure enough, it proved to be correct. With that, White asked a question. It had been the one Lance had tried to find the answer to but Drake didn't give it then. Now, here he gave the answer to that very question. The way the dragon talked, it sounded like some sort of ancient prophecy or something read in a book about legends.
Lance figured then that this was either just coincidental or Justice really did know about them. How would Justice have known though that he was to tell a dragon that would take care of such a situation? How would he know what time such a prophecy would ever take place? What kind of other important questions could be asked here? Also, Justice knew of three to come according to prophecy but now it seemed more like he didn't know who exactly would come here. Well, that explained it a bit more unless Justice actually did somehow know they were to come here.
When the next riddle had been presented to them, Darius seemed to light up a bit. This had been one Ivory had answered or him once before. They had been told riddles in class and Darius couldn't get that one no matter how hard he tried. Ivory, whom had been patient with him the entire time, told him that it was..."Oh! I know this one!" He pondered for a short moment, relaying the words in his head before nodding with confidence. "Yes, I know for a fact this one means a mountain." This was probably the only riddle Darius would get. It's not that he was stupid, it's just he didn't often understand riddles.
Lance glanced over at White after thinking about it. "Hm, sounds right. What do you think?" he asked White.

White listened to Darius's response. Now that he thought about it, a mountain did make the most sense. He agreed with Darius and Lance. "Let's go with that then!" White turned to the large dragon. "Is it a mountain?"
The dragon let out another odd looking grin. "Correct. Ah I myself was born on a mountain. I wish to one day return to that mountain, my home. It has been so so long since I've seen it. The white snow at the top. The large cavern opening! I can see it now!"
While the dragon remembered his home in their heads, White turned to Darius and Lance. Once the dragon was finish he asked, "One of you ask the next question." White had his turn, and frankly the answer hadn't really helped them much. Perhaps Darius or lance would come up with a better question.

Darius was delighted to hear that, as White spoke the answer, that mountain had indeed been what he said it was. He had remembered Ivory answering that question when they went over riddles in the past. That was before this time, a time now long gone. Whether or not something peaceful as such could ever happen between himself and his sister again remained yet to be seen. He had been furious watching her knock out his friends, her almost having killed Lance in the process and then their capture of Arya. He wasn't going to let Ivory off the hook so easily once he got her cornered himself. The issue was getting her alone and away from Smiles. The two seemed inseparable during the past two encounters they've had with them so far.
Drake went on to talk about his mountain home. Darius couldn't help but wonder as to why the dragon had been bound to this cave. Had he done something wrong in the past? Or had Justice locked him up in here? If so, why had the dragon been so compliant? This dragon felt strong so how would he so easily allow himself to be captured? Was that kind of question important enough? What kind of question to ask?
Lance and Darius made eye contact and Lance nodded his head to Darius. He was indicating that he could take this time to ask a question for the lot of them. Yet, what sort of question was he to ask? Well, there was something about an Emperor that bothered Darius but he didn't think that Drake could answer that question for him. After all, it seemed as if they were merely foreseen and their names and appearances had been unknown.
"Why is it that you are bound here, Drake?"

The dragon actually seemed slightly surprised by Darius's question. It was a strange question to ask. Even White paused to wonder just what made Darius ask that question. There were many things they could have asked the dragon about. He was very old and probably had alot of knowledge. But the question was something that indeed was important. Not so much to them, but for those who would come in the future.
The dragon exposed its teeth in a growl, and the flames around it suddenly grew brighter and more intense for a moment. The dragon spoke to them a feeling of anger in its voice.
"I chased an elf, now dead, into this cave. He lured me here through the opening above. Then the elf used his magic to prevent me from leaving. I have been bound here ever since. He might be dead, but his magic still lingers. Forever I am stuck in this rotten cave, doomed to stay here forever unknowing of what happened to my children back in The Land of Dragons. No doubt he used them for the very reason I trained him. Our blood has magical properties that when consumed will give a mammal power never thought manageable. It is in that way that I will aid you if you answer the last riddle correctly. But that human, is the reason I am bound here."
The dragon withdrew from their heads. White could feel the anger in the dragon over what was happening. He didn't know how he felt about having to drink dragon's blood. It wasn't something he ever did before, and it made his stomach feel sick. But if the dragon's blood did have power, how could he resist? They needed whatever help they could get in fighting their enemy.
The dragon spoke the third riddle. "I can be quick and then I'm deadly, I am a rock, shell and bone medley. If I was made into a man, I'd make people dream, I gather in my millions by ocean, sea and stream."

Darius had figured it was a question one had to ask. After all, it answered another question. Justice Wilder hadn't been the one who bound the dragon here in this very cavern. He wasn't an elf, after all. So, that at least set aside Darius's worries if Drake had been imprisoned by Justice just for this one time event. Now that they knew the dragon had been trapped here because of an elf, it was a bit more relieving. At least then, Drake wouldn't have a reason to be wanting to eat them other than the possibility that they might be delicious little bite sized snacks. A second question had also been answered though and one that was a tad more unpleasant for them. Apparently, one could gain power from the blood of a dragon. So, was that what Drake was going to have them do? Drink his blood? It made Darius a bit queasy at the idea but how else were they to defend themselves? They didn't have strength otherwise.
Clearly, Drake was angry and Darius couldn't blame him. He had made the dragon remember a bad memory though so Darius had to bow his head a bit at that. Was there a way to release Drake from this prison? It must've been very lonely down here to be bound by one's self to such a place. Whatever that elf had done, it had done its job to keep such a powerful looking dragon down here for so long without any means of figuring out how to break free.
"I'm sorry..." Darius trailed off before the dragon finally settled down enough to begin the next and final riddle. This one had Darius curious. Just what did he mean by that? Confusedly, he turned to White and Lance. Darius was not at all one with words. So, this would be one Lance or White would be able to answer and not him. Still, he did try.
"Uh...clam?" he said with a shrug. Lance shook his head at that one, it didn't sound at all like a clam shell but beach definitely did come to mind when shells were mentioned. Still, it couldn't possibly be just a beach considering that it gathered around not just the ocean but sea and stream. Lance thought long in silence over this one before considering a possibility.
"...Gather my millions...if I was made into a man, I'd make people dream..." he repeated to himself. Looking between White and Darius, he spoke. "I think I've figured it out. See, it gathers in millions around sea, ocean and stream. It's a medley of shells, bones and what not. Also, the only fabled person I can think of that could make others dream would be the sand man. Therefore, I think it's sand." It had taken a good while to answer that one for Lance and there was no way that Darius would've figured it out if his life depended on it alone.

White had no clue about this one either. These riddles just kept getting harder and harder by the second. He listened to Darius's first response. A shell sounded right to him. You could find it on the beach, and there were millions of them. He didn't know for sure if it was a bone. However thinking about it more, White didn't think the answer would be in the riddle. That would be too easy.
What else then could it be? When Darius brought up sand though, White found himself nodding along to what he was saying. Sand really did fit well with it. But was there anything else that could fit the riddle? White just wanted to make sure they didn't jump in on the question. Taking a moment to continue thinking, White decided that it must be the best answer.
Turning to the dragon he addressed the riddle. "Is it sand?" He asked. The dragon flashed its teeth again in a grin. They had succeeded! They were going to get the power they needed. At least that was what the dragon was promised. But first they had one more question they could ask. It was Lance's turn. "Go on Lance. You ask the last one."

It had been Lance that thought of sand. Darius had made somewhat of a try by saying clam. All of them were thinking around the same line here. The issue was finding the appropriate answer. After all, if they got one wrong, then they wouldn't have any aid from the dragon. Still, it was a fair price that he wouldn't aid them. After all, what good would they be if they weren't the type to use their heads now and then? It would be a waste so he could see where the dragon was coming from with this.
After White asked Drake, the other two waited with baited breath. Sure enough, the answer of sand was the correct one. Lance was surprised he managed to get that one. It had been a very difficult one, after all. Darius would've never gotten it if his life depended on it.
Now, it was time for someone to ask the dragon a question. The question was, what to ask him? Upon White's urging about him asking the last question, Lance rubbed the back of his head awkwardly. What were they to ask the dragon next? They got their answers as to what he was doing here, confirmation that Justice Wilder had never gotten Drake bound here, and also confirmation that there was a prophecy. What else was there that was important to ask? Lance looked around at the others for some help.
"Uh...what should we ask this time? We already have our answers for why he's here, how he got here, who foresaw us and the prophecy. What else is there to ask? Who the emperor is?" he asked them. Darius gave a shrug.

White didn't know what to ask. He thought that Lance's question was good. If that was what he wanted to know then that's what they should ask. Seeing Darius shrug, White responded."Let's go with that one!" He told Lance with a smile. The dragon, overhearing them, nodded its big head up and down.
"If that is what you want to know then it is the answer I shall give." The dragon shut its eyes and the fire around it soared once more. "I see someone close to you three. A friend, a betrayer. He shall not be crowned emperor in your lifetime. Two hundred years. In two hundred years his army shall overrun the universe, leaving but five worlds left in existence. Warn your decedents. Let them know that terror comes, and that they must gather under she who bears the blood of the destroyer." Suddenly the flames around the dragon rested to their original blaze, and Drake's eyes opened.
"I hope whatever answer you received was to your satisfaction. When I enter the prophecy state, I remember nothing of what I saw. That's why it's always vital I have someone here to write it down. But sadly it's been very lonesome down here. But enough of my babbles! I promised you power!" The dragon brought up its clawed hand and scratched its other arms so that blood began to flow. It was a small cut to the dragon, but to White it looked pretty big.
"Drink of the blood of dragons." The dragon commanded, placing the arm to the ground so that they could drink of it. White looked at it and forced down a gulp. Drinking blood was sickening! He wasn't some kind of vampire! But he wanted to be stronger. If the dragon claimed that it could power them, then he would drink it. White gathered his courage. He would go first.
Stepping over to the wounded dragon, White put his lips to the open wound on the dragon's hand and began to drink. It didn't take much. Not more then two gulps, before something happened. White suddenly found himself growing very dizzy as he dropped to the floor next to the dragon's hand.
Physically a yellow light began to come form White. Drake above was grinning at the sudden happening, almost as if he had expected it to happen. White could vaguely hear the dragon's words as he spoke. He must have seen confusion and concern on the faces of White's friends. "Watch! The transformation begins." To White the voice was not in his head. He heard the dragon speak outside his head for the first time.
Suddenly his back arched up and the yellow light around him turned to living electricity. It surged around him at such ferocity and heat that it burned the ground around it. Even Drake pulled his claw back, away from White. The living electricity took the shape of a dragon made of static electricity. Its static mouth opened and a lour roar escaped from White's own mouth. It was not the voice of a human, but the roar of a dragon.
Inside White could feel his own blood changing. He could feel the dragon's blood in his own blood stream, turning his own blood into the same blood that the dragon's was. White still had his same conscious and thoughts, but as the electricity continued to surge and start to send volts of electricity out in different directions, White became aware that he was becoming more then just human. Finally when the transformation of blood was complete the dragon made of static electricity retreated and settle down to a soft steady flow around White. The dizziness passed and White could feel a whole new set of strength, speed, and awareness around him. What opening the third eye did for White before, this did at such a real transforming rate. White's actual appearance had not changed. But he was aware that if he wanted he could make wings of electricity and fly around this cave. He could create a dragon of electricity around him just as it had appeared before. He felt great!
He glanced back at Darius and Lance. He let the electricity that was a stead stream around his body totally disperse. "Your guys turn." He said with a smile. Unknowing to White though, his teeth were now as sharp as a dragons.

Lance wasn't sure what else to ask. He could've asked about the whole cousins thing between White and himself but he didn't. That probably wasn't as important as the emperor that was said to take over. After all, if there was an evil to come, they had to know about it. After looking between White and Darius, he saw no opposition on their part. When White showed he was fine with it too, Lance turned to Drake and waited. Could the dragon answer that question?
Drake shut his eyes after confirming that he would answer the question. When he did, the fire about him soared. Apparently, someone close to them three who was a friend would betray them. In their time, he wasn't to be crowned but two hundred years later. Lance furrowed his eyebrows. Just who did they know would live that long? In two hundred years, his army was to take over the universe but for five worlds. They were to warn their descendants. of the terror to come. They were to unite under a woman that bears the blood of the destroyer. Who would that be? After that, the answer was finished. Drake had ceased saying anything more. It was a riddle for their futures to figure out then. Hopefully, they would. Lance and Darius didn't like the sound of the fate of the future.
Drake then spoke, stating that he hoped the answer was to their satisfaction. When he enters prophetic state, he remembers nothing of what he saw. Already, Lance was itching to head back to that poem book and scribble in a piece of clean paper what they had heard. "It was, thank you, Drake." That had been Lance's response and Darius gave a nod. They had a lot to ponder about once their own problems were done and over with. If, that is, they ever were done and over with.
It was sad to hear that it was lonesome for Drake. The dragon was forever bound here. Maybe one day, they could figure out a means to help him? Was it even possible to help him? Despite that, Drake carried on with what he had promised them. He was going to give them power. Without further hesitation, the dragon lifted a clawed hand and scratched the other arm with it. As he did so, he drew blood. Once he did, he informed them to drink it, placing the arm before them on the ground so that they could. White was the first of the three to wander over to Drake.
Darius wondered if this were maybe another test. Then again, the dragon already tested them. He didn't think dragons would be dishonorable. Drake clearly upheld his end on things from what he could tell. Still, he couldn't help but feel a bit nervous as he watched White walk over and drink from Drake's blood. What happened next really did give Darius and Lance a bit of a start. Both watched as he fell over, a yellow light began to form over White then. Having seen the look on their faces, Drake spoke. He was telling them to look, the transformation begins. Neither of them were aware of the changes that White was going through just yet until White arched his back, a living electricity formed about his body then.
It was so sudden that White and Darius took a step back to look on. Even Drake moved his hand away from White. The three of them looked on as the electricity suddenly took the shape of a dragon and let out a loud roar. Only thing is, it hadn't just been the electrical dragon that was roaring. As Darius and Lance looked down at White, they saw that he was the one who was actually roaring! He was making quite a dragon roar at that too! Definitely nothing human, that was for sure.
Eventually, the electricity settled down to a slow and steady flow about his body. White finally came to and as he rose, Darius felt the hairs on the back of his neck rise in response. White had definitely changed. No doubt about it considering the electrical stream going about White. Making it disperse, White finally turned to them stating that it was their turn now. As he smiled, Darius's eyes widened as his brow furrowed. There was no mistaking the fact that White's teeth had become remarkably sharp in appearance to the point it was noticeable.
"Uh...Wh-White? Your...your teeth!" he stated, pointing at them in wonder and uncertainty. Was that even permanent? If so, White might want to see means of hiding his teeth or visit a dentist. Either one would work. Lance looked on with obvious surprise too. Still, they couldn't keep Drake waiting for much longer. Eventually, that wound would block up and it wouldn't be kind to make him open the wound again. Realizing some changes like that would come over him, Lance walked over to Drake and looked up at the massive dragon. Dragons were truly remarkable creatures. He had known of them from the world he came from and they revered them. He gave Drake a respectful incline of his head.
"If you wouldn't mind, may I?" he spoke to him. Once the wound was proffered, Lance drank the blood. Whatever power the dragon was willing to give them, he would accept it as is even if it changed him a bit. After all, it was a minimal price to pay if that were the case. Much like White, Lance too fell over and a strange energy surged about his body. It wasn't electricity like White's element. Each boy, after all, had their own special element to them. Lance's was that of the air element. Judging by the white swirls that whipped about erratically around Lance's body proved that enough. Like the electrical dragon, the air about Lance took the shape of a dragon too and let out a hiss before submerging into Lance, a light wind seemed to pick up in the air around them as Lance finally came to.
Getting to his feet, he looked at his hands. There was a strange sense of feeling in his veins right now. He wasn't, couldn't, be entirely human anymore. There was a strength inside of him that was added and had unlocked the other sleeping powers within him, the air element. When he was done, Lance too nodded at Darius. "You're the last of us, better hurry up. Wouldn't want Drake to wait, eh? It's an honor for a dragon to want to do this so don't keep him waiting."
Darius turned to Drake and swallowed. Drink dragon's blood? It didn't sound all that great. Still, he couldn't refuse power that would be given to them. Drake was a good dragon. He just wished they could do more for him instead of him being locked up forever in this prison. "Alright...I'll do it, Drake." With that, Darius too did the same as White and Lance before him. As he fell to the floor, light surrounded Darius. It was a pure, white light that surrounded him and seemed to surge about him just as wildly as the electricity and air had about White and Lance. It took shape of a dragon of light, roared and merged with Darius. A faint light seemed to surround him as he stood up, coming to.
"This is...amazing!" Darius stated, looking at himself as if he had noticed himself for the first time in his life.
