Smiles summoned a portal to the main lobby floor. It was the room that all the portals opened up too. Which he thought was odd, since it was very similar to the one in The Land of Departure. But he didn't think too much about it. The room they entered was empty. Smiles found this surprising. Why would a room be empty?
Stepping forward, Smiles heard the portal close behind what must have been Ivory. "The first time I'm at Castle Oblivion and I don't know where everyone is..." Smiles thought to himself.
There was currently no one in the room. He noticed a staircase to his left which lead up and down. They were on the first central floor. There would be twelve floors that went upwards, and twelve that went down. They were currently in the center.
A sudden sound of a gunshot from somewhere to his right surprised Smiles. He had not seen anyone in this room, and had not expected it. He also did not expect the red blood flowing from the left side of his stomach. For the first time, Smiles was shocked. He had been shot? Just how had that happened. He heard nothing, not even his the moan that escaped his lips.
Eyes traveling up he noticed Smoke standing in front of a door way with her riffle pointed at him and smoke coming from it. He was confused about that as well. Why had Smoke shot him? Then he noticed her yellow eyes. Oh... that was why.
Moving out of the doorway, after Smoke, Fang, Bullseye, and Snake all entered. They all had the yellow eyes of a fissure. After them came three more fissures. One was a man in purple armor with a dragon's helm. The second was a women was dressed in a jester's outfit with a jester's hat. And the third was a teen with purple hair, black pants, and a scythe strapped to his bare torso.
Snake was the one to speak. "Skull sends his regards." He raised his two six shooters at Ivory.
Smiles shouted, "Ivory, armor now!"

As the portal opened into Castle Oblivion, already Ivory was getting the heebie jeebies. She did not like walking right into the stronghold of the fissures. Still, she wasn't going to let her fear overwhelm her. Hopefully, this alliance was temporary. Even despite that though, she was scared. What would the fissures do to them once their use was over? Would they kill them all? She merely glanced at Smiles, following him like she always did. Ivory had confidence in him and knew she shouldn't fear. As long as she remained calm, things should be alright. No use letting fear overwhelm her.
No sooner had they stepped inside, the portal closing behind them. It was quiet, too quiet. "It's quiet..." she stated, looking about the general area. There didn't appear to be anyone around. Then, it came. Just as they were standing there, Ivory wondering where they were to go next, a gunshot rang out. Startled, Ivory scrambled to find where the shot had gone. With a brief once over of herself, she found no wound. Looking over at Smiles, she heard the groan he had made. Smiles had just been shot!
"SMILES!" she shouted. Then, the arrival of others directed her attention upon them. Smoke was there aiming her gun at them. Confused, Ivory examined her further wondering why Smoke would want to shoot at them. It was then that she noticed the yellow eyes. "Oh my god." Fang, Snake and Bullseye came in next, all of them with matching yellow eyes. After them came in three more figures, these she could only guess were fellow fissures. There were so many of them!
As Snake spoke, Ivory's eyes widened. Skull had taken over the committee and turned everyone into fissures! Her worst nightmare had just come true. Now, they were probably next! Smiles's voice snapped her out of her surprise though. Hearing his words, she didn't waste any time hesitating. Having her hand on her dragon statuette, the armor appeared about her body in a swirl of darkness. She was armored up and her naginata in her hands. Once that was accomplished, she rolled aside. She was armored but there were areas of her that were still accessible to a bullet if she wasn't careful.

Things happened fast. The only thing that was going for them was that Skull did not want them dead. No doubt he planned on making all of them fissures. Smiles was pretty sure they would not kill them. But at the moment Smiles could not move. Which meant speed was not his friend.
Noticing that Ivory had armored up, Smiles watched the advance of the enemy. The three fissures that Smiles did not know, were coming towards him. The other four were focused on Ivory. Snake pumped bulled after bullet towards Ivory. Bullseye weapon was a shotgun. She was running towards her, hoping to get in close range to use it. Smoke had her gun trained on Ivory, but as long as she kept running she would be alright. Smoke would not waste a shot if it might kill her. Fang's guns were two pistols. However they were different then your average gun. Fang held the gun by the back, with the barrel pointed toward the ground. With his thumb he pushed on the trigger to make two curved tooth like blades made of pure energy come forth. He charged towards Ivory as well.
Smiles on the other hand summoned his gun. He wasn't going to let the fissures just take him. Shooting with one hand he made the casually walking fissures dodge his bullets while his other hand shot a portal out towards the wall next to the staircase. He just needed to shot a portal underneath him now to teleport him over by the stairs.
Artemis, watched all of this happen. Having been a trained assassin he was ready the moment this turned out to be a fight. Seeing that his opponent was using guns though, he had to think about all of this. "Speed is your friend. Do not stop moving. It's hard to hit a moving target with a gun." He did not know though that the fissures would not kill them. He was reacting based on the information that Ivory knew, and the fact that they were being attacked.
----------------------------
A portal opened to the staircase on the central floor. Stepping out, Lakari could hear gunshots coming from the room in front of them. But that was his concern. He could feel Arya floors below him, and it made him smile. At last he was going to have control once more! "Let's go Lance. She's on the last floor!" Leading the way, Lakari started down the steps.
Next to come out was White and Princess Leliana. Hearing the gunshots, White wanted to go over there to offer his help. But he knew that wasn't his job. He and Leliana had their job to do. "White stick to the mission! Let's go!" Leliana's words brought his mind to focus and he followed her up the stairs.
Finally Justice was the last to enter. Hearing the gunshots he knew they didn't have a moment to lose. Things were about to happen really fast. "Let's go!" Charging through the doorway first, Justice first spotted Ivory and Smiles. They had not noticed them, but he noticed that Ivory had four fissures targeting her. And Smiles three. "Tears help Ivory. Darius do not go with her. Our first target is the three heading for Smiles."

Ivory noticed that four fissures were on her tail. After rolling to get out of the way of the bullets Snake had been firing at her, Ivory got to her feet quickly. As she recovered from rolling out of the way, she was forced to run again but not in a direct direction. She zig zagged, weaving so that she wasn't an easy target. Hearing Artemis, she understood perfectly well running around was her option in this fight. As for the fissures, she wasn't sure if they intended to kill them or what not. She couldn't even think how Smiles was fairing as she ran.
Of course, Smiles was the one who taught her everything. He would probably fair well even without her help. After all, he had been through more than she had, being the newest member. From what Ivory could guess, she had Snake on her tail. She didn't get to glimpse who the others were. She wasted no time to check by looking back. The last thing she should ever do was look back. Looks like Ivory was going to get a work out.
---------------------------------------------------------------
As Lance stepped out behind Mr. Thomas, he too heard the gunshots. It didn't sound good. He wondered what was happening but remembered what his father had told them. They were to stick to their plan. If they strayed, it could mean everything and Lance wasn't willing to risk it. Turning to Mr. Thomas, Lance gave a nod. "Yes, Mr. Thomas, I'm right behind you!" he said. With that, he followed the elf's lead down the stairs. No doubt, the finding Arya part would be easy. Mr. Thomas could sense Arya and while they were in such a close proximity, it wouldn't take long for them to locate the girl.
After all of the other party members, Darius, Tears and Justice finally came through the portal. Darius went almost rigid as he heard gunshots going off. If they didn't move it, Ivory and Smiles were probably as good as dead or worse! As soon as Justice came through the portal, Darius turned to him awaiting orders. Justice heard the gunfire.
At Justice's words, Darius charged after the keyblade master along with Tears. When they entered the area, they found Ivory being chased by four fissures and Smiles being chased by three. Seeing the situation, Justice told Tears to go after the ones chasing Ivory. Then, Justice directed Darius to go after the three who were after Smiles. Feeling a bit torn but knowing better than to disobey, Darius nodded his head. He didn't like Smiles but if this was Justice's objective then he would obey. Hopefully, Smiles wouldn't think of them as his enemies. Darius did not want to get shot in the ass with those electrical bullets a second time.
"Right! Shall we?" He didn't want to charge in unless Justice had more to say to him so he waited a second.

Justice didn't know about Darius's feelings over Smiles. But he knew that Smiles was not exactly an evil person. He was more of a neutral type. He did things for his own benefit. And Justice was pretty sure he could count on Smiles for wanting to get out of this situation. Tears headed over to Ivory, pulling out her small gun. It barley fit in her hand.
Her former committee members did not see her coming upon the scene until she was within shooting distance. She aimed her first shot at Smoke, who was standing still aiming. Her gun sounded with a soft pop, but no bullets came out. Instead Smoke's arm exploded. It was quite a sight to see for anyone watching. One moment she was holding the gun. The next her shoulder exploded knocking her arm clean off. What had actually happened was that Tears had fired a blast of invisible radiation. Her attacks could only hit at close range, within five feet, but when it hit it caused the blood to literally explode.
Even a fissure could scream. Tear's next bullet hit Smoke's neck. This was the killing shot. Having killed one fissure, this left Snake to turn towards her. Bullseye and Fang were fastly approaching Ivory, Fang closing the remaining distance and swinging his dagger guns right at the areas between her armor. Tears would have helped Ivory if she could, but now she was jumping backwards and zig zagging herself as Snake turned his guns on her. She tried to close the distance, but each time one of his guns prevented her with a shot towards her.
Smiles on the other hand found himself being rescued by a very odd source. What was Ivory's brother doing here? His gun could only help so much, so it was a relief when Justice and Darius charged forward. He heard Justice saying, "Take the girl, I'll take scythe guy." What was even more surprising was that Justice held a keyblade. And here Smiles had thought they killed them all.
Justice met the scythe in hand to hand combat. His keyblade blocking a swing from the enemy's scythe. Jester girl on the other hand had two knifes. And as Darius came towards her she actually ran towards him, hoping to close the distance. She would be deadly in hand to hand combat.
Smiles took the advantage and summoned a portal underneath him. It propelled him down and out right by the staircase. It would give him a moment to try and fix this gunshot wound he was currently bleeding from.

Everything was happening so fast, all Ivory could do was stick to what Artemis had told her. If she stopped, she knew that she was in for it. As she kept running, she tried to think of a means to defend herself. It wasn't easy with four fissures centered on her. One small slip up and she was as good as dead. While she was trying to think, she heard a sudden explosion. There had been some sort of scream but Ivory didn't have time to look.
Fang was nearly upon her already and he looked like he was going to cut her in two. Bringing up her naginata, she gave it a twirl to parry the attacks. When that was accomplished, she gave her armor's wings a flap, taking her into the air. As she did so, she glimpsed Tears. It looked like the sixteen year old had just killed Smoke! Tears was alive!
------------------------------------------------------------------
Darius knew that this situation was very odd. He didn't like Smiles for one. Smiles had taken his twin sister away from him pretty much. Not to mention the times that Smiles had injured him. Darius hadn't exactly liked the guy and even found himself wary of him. When Smiles spotted them, Darius could only pray that he wasn't about to get shot by him. They were here, oddly enough, to aid him. Smiles seemed to look confused but relieved. Okay, that settled the enmity at least for now. Darius wasn't sure how things were going to go once this battle was over, if ever. As they charged, Darius heard Justice telling him to go after the jester woman. With a nod, Darius turned for her and charged.
As he did so, the woman noticed his arrival and turned, charging towards him to meet him. Darius, knowing that this girl could very well be deadly, didn't hold back. A white light seemed to engulf him and as he ran, he short forth at her. Even if he missed her, she'd have to avoid the five small pillars of light shooting up behind him in the direction that he had gone.

Justice battled with his opponent. His was a more hack and slash type of fight, each trying to cut the head off of the other. However in the end, Justice was just the better fighter. He had more experience, and though his enemy had the body of a youth, it also had inexperience. That's how he was able to read his opponent's slash. Dodging it with a side step, Justice brought his keyblade around and slammed it through the back of the enemy. The fissure had no way to dodge it. Pulling the weapon free, Justice found himself facing the third opponent.
The man with the purple armor and a dragon helm was going to be a tougher opponent. That armor was going to block many of Justice's attacks. The weapon his enemy brought forth was a long sword. Justice knew then that his enemy's attacks would be powerful and fast near the end of a strike, but slow in the beginning.
As he squared off around his opponent, Justice was surprised by the sudden sound of a gun shot. He was even more surprise to see the wound in the small opening in the helm. Smiles was standing, his wound covered with his shirt. But he was still on the ground.
The enemy attacking Darius on the other hand, had not expected his attack. She had thought to meet him in battle with weapons not with a charging white light. As a result, she was taken off guard and slammed by the five pillars that followed Darius. She barley managed to dodge his frontal attack, but there was no hope against the pillars. As a result she went down as well.
Facing Snake, Bullseye had one key advantage over the old man. And that was that he was now a fissure. There was no former knowledge of what Tears could do with her gun. As a result, when she rolled forward, he merely continued to shoot. He should have back peddled, getting out of the range of her gun. Because of this error, Tears was able to get a shot off at Snake's neck. His head didn't stand a chance within her ten foot range. The pop brought a smile to her eyes as his head exploded off.
While all of this occurred, Fang and Bullseye watched Ivory fly off. They had the chance to take a look around at the others who were here. They watched the other fissures die one after another. Fang glanced over at Bullseye and nodded. Suddenly their priority of charging after Ivory changed. Bullseye held her gun pointed as the two of them back peddled towards the door they had come from. This battle was lost, they needed to warn their father.
-------------------------------
Lakari charged down the stairs, floor after floor. He could feel her, getting closer and closer. Of course she was alive! It was too much to ask that she was dead. But there was no contact on his mind being made. It could only mean one thing, that she was unconscious. Which worked out just fine for Lakari.
"Almost there." He told Lance hopefully. He was very much aware that there could be a spirit watching him. He would know though if the spirit tried to make a move.
Coming to a stop at the last floor, Lakari paused. Glancing into the room he noticed a line of different prison cells. He saw no one in those cells, but he could feel her there further down. "Be careful, we don't know if there's a guard. But I know she's down at the end."
Stepping forward, Lakari rushed down. He had his cane sword already drawn, ready to use if he came in contact with a fissure. But as he had suspected, no one was there. As they came to the last cell, Lakari spotted Arya. Only one word could compare to what she looked like, terrible. First of all she was naked and chained to the back wall. Her legs were each chained as well as her arms to each side. The white walls around her were stained red from what was most likely her blood. Her body was covered in bruises and Lakari could make out a knife wound that had not healed correctly in her side. Next to her body was the knife that no doubt had caused the wound.
It would have taken Mr. Thomas's breath away... If he was here that is. There was no cell door blocking their entrance. Lakari was free to walk right up to it. He very casually walked up to her. His face did look stunned, but it was more because of the fact that he was surprised how easy this was. He had dropped his sword when he had first seen Arya, he had to make his shock look authentic after all.
Walking up to her he said, "You poor girl. I will kill whoever did this to you. I promise." Reaching down he picked up the knife that most likely been used to stab her.
"Mr.... Thomas?" He heard her say, revealing that she was alive. She was able to get one eye open, the other having been swollen shut. Lakari's hand shot forward and he slit her throat. The blood that flowed onto him was like a new birth as all at once Lakari had his powers once more.

Darius could see the surprise on the woman's face. She hadn't been expecting an opponent to charge at her with what he charged at her with. His pillars weren't exactly all powerful but if she got hit by all of the five behind him, it wouldn't be pleasant for her. Getting used to his new strength, Darius had to skid to a halt to look back at where he had left her. He was surprised by what he had done. 'That was...surprising...' he thought to himself. Why had it gotten through like that? He knew that she had dodged his frontal attack. No doubt, she got the full brunt of his light pillars. Well, that was the end of that.
Now, to focus on the status of Justice and Smiles. Turning, Darius could see that Justice had just finished his first opponent and now engaged the third in armor. As they began to square off, a gunshot was heard. Immediately, Darius searched himself for wounds. Like his sister, he was always the one to assume he had been shot first before looking at anyone else.
The enemy that Justice had been fighting had just been shot. By the look of things, probably in the head region. Blinking, Darius searched for the one responsible and had found Smiles. Smiles had shot the foe and was apparently clutching at an injury he had received on his side where he kept a shirt to cover it. Darius came over to Justice before looking over at the others to see how they were doing. "Should I attempt to heal Smiles next or would you rather we apprehend the remaining fissures?" he asked him.
While that was going on, Ivory had managed to get out of range. As she did so, she had seen what Tears did to Snake. Snake looked as if he was winning at first. Then, all of a sudden, his head was blown off. Well, that was the end of that. As she looked around, she noticed that Smiles was still alive. Two other people were near him and appeared to be helping him. By the looks of it, that white dragon armor meant her brother had somehow come for them and was helping them! She almost couldn't believe it.
As she looked back down, knowing that there were still fissures they had to take, Ivory could see Fang and Bullseye retreating. They were trying to leave. If they left though, that would alert Skull to them. Furrowing her brows, Ivory held out a hand and launched a dark energy ball at them. It was the size of a basketball, if that. So, it probably wouldn't hurt them that much but it would probably distract them.
----------------------------------------------------
Lance followed after Mr. Thomas. The elf could sense where Arya was. Before long, it seemed they had finally reached the dungeons. As they went, Rowen had been with Lance since they started. He was keen to prevent anything happening to Lance. The Wilder family was his charge and he would protect them. Jean would be furious with him if he didn't. That and this was technically his punishment once she had discovered the story that had gone through the Wilder generations. Still, he didn't think it a punishment. Never before had he had this much fun in over two hundred years since the time he was alive. This was fun, being out there again during a major event.
As they reached the dungeons, Lance grew wary. As he walked over to Mr. Thomas, he heard the elf warn him about there being a guard. Lance gave a nod and followed the elf's lead in silence. He had his lance, ready to fight at a moment's notice. What he saw though had surprised him.
Reaching the cell where Arya was kept, there was no guard and the door was open for them. Mr. Thomas had dropped his sword in surprise. Lance standing his ground as he looked in shock at what had been done to the thirteen year old girl. Poor Arya! How could those monsters do that to this girl? It filled him with rage. As he stood there, he watched as Mr. Thomas seemed to genuinely walk over to her, looking surprised. As he spoke, Lance couldn't help but feel sorry for her.
What happened next, Lance was completely shocked and horrified. Mr. Thomas, though he seemed to have been ready to help Arya as she spoke his name, had slit her throat! "ARYA!" Lance exclaimed. There was a wicked grin on Mr. Thomas's face then. This wasn't at all like Mr. Thomas! "That's because he's Lakari, he's not Mr. Thomas. Back in my time, he fooled even us! Get out of here while you can, Lance!" came Rowen's spiritual voice in Lance's mind.
Anger had filled him though to see what the elf had done to Arya. He held his lance tightly, unsure what to do. "RUN!" Rowen told him. As if the ancestor's voice had effected him, Lance turned and fled but not after launching his lance at Lakari if only to momentarily distract him. Even if the lance left his hand, Lance could always summon it again or another one. Full out, he ran. Tears burned his eyes as he did. He didn't know Arya for long but a young life didn't deserve to go out so soon. Lance had failed!

Lakari barely even cared that the spirit was contacting Lance. Oh he could hear it now, plain as day, talking to Lance instructing him to leave. As if that even mattered to Lakari. He could feel all his powers come back to him. At long last he had his powers back. He had missed his abilities, the long time and adventure it had taken to gain them.
If Lakari was aware of the lance that headed straight for him, he didn't show it. But as the lance came within two feet of him, it banged off of a clear shield that formed around Lakari. It blocked the lance as easily as it had been thrown by Lance. Turning, Lakari could feel the air around him for the first time. He cared nothing for what was happening here. His only reason for coming here was to kill the bitch who prevented him from his powers.
"What to do now?" Lakari asked himself aloud. Glancing down at the dead Arya, he wondered if he should go and join the others? Or should he leave? There was much to do, but nothing that could be done if the fissures weren't dealt with.
Lakari made a decision. Turning to Arya as if she could hear him he said, "Never let it be said that I never did a good deed." Of course this good deed was only being done for his own benefit. Lakari very casually started up the stairs after Lance. He thought it might be fun to have a conversation with a dead spirit who no doubt had a grudge against him. Well if the spirit got rowdy, Lakari would just lock it in a rock or something.
---------------
Justice looked over to Smiles. He watched Ivory go after Bullseye and Fang. Smiles wound needed to be healed. Tears was charging over towards the fleeing enemy, her gun pointed to fire as soon as she came close. The dark ball of energy that was shot out from Ivory headed straight for Bullseye. Smiles knew immediately that it was a mistake. So did Justice.
Bullseye's weapon was specially made. As the energy came right towards them, she raised the gun and pulled the trigger. Instead of bullets coming out or energy as was custom, a sharp whirlwind appeared and sucked the dark energy. Pointing it back at Ivory, Bullseye fired the same energy, except it came at her double the size and double the punch.
Justice turned to Darius. "Go heal him. I'll help your sister." Justice didn't have healing abilities, otherwise he'd have done it himself.
Fang had made it into the door way and disappeared behind it. However Tears cut Bullseye off, making her head more towards Ivory and away from the door. The fissure who controlled Bullseye must have learned by now to stay out of Tear's range. Justice headed over towards the fissure, holding his keyblade tight.
"Tears go after Fang. Ivory don't use any energy attacks against the fissure." Justice called out.

Lance didn't stop to see whether or not his weapon had hit Mr. Thomas or not. The weapon merely served as a bit of a distraction to permit Lance enough time to get away from Lakari. Of course, that didn't mean it would save him enough time. Lance knew that he needed to get away from the elf. How could he do that to Arya? She didn't deserve that! As soon as he had run, he didn't hear Rowen's voice anymore. Yet, somehow, he knew the ancient spirit was with him as he fled. Rowen wasn't going to leave him alone in this and oddly, Lance didn't feel as uncertain being by himself for once. Still, he wasn't about to turn around and fight Lakari either. He'd only fight him if the elf tried to stop his escape.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Darius didn't know why he offered to heal Smiles. He didn't like the guy as far as he could probably throw him. Okay...maybe he could throw him pretty far in this present state and such a figurative comparison to his trust might not work so great with this but whatever. He didn't trust the guy only because he had threatened to shoot Ivory once he lost interest in her. Darius wasn't even sure what kind of interest the guy had in her. Still, he understood there had to be a reason for why Justice was saving them. He would, for now, put his feelings aside. Besides, Ivory seemed to hang with Smiles a lot and last he knew, seemed to appreciate the guy's help he had given her. At least, for now, he wouldn't start anything with Smiles.
That didn't mean Smiles wouldn't think otherwise. After hearing Justice, Darius gave him a nod. "Alright. I'm on it." As he said this, Darius dismissed his broadsword to show Smiles he was meaning him no harm. Carefully, he approached the gunman. He was watching Smiles for any subtle signs that might indicate Darius should dodge at any moment.
"Smiles...can I see that injury?" he asked him, wary of the gun but didn't show it. This no doubt, must've puzzled Smiles considering they were once on opposing ends. Now, here they were, Darius trying to help aid him. That probably really mind blew Smiles. Darius figured that if Ivory was friends or more with Smiles, then he'd treat him nice for now. The only thing that really bothered Darius was the fact this guy turned his sister into an assassin and even threatened to kill her once she grew boring.
As Ivory threw the dark energy ball, she didn't think what would happen next would happen. She hadn't fought the other committee members before so this was a new experience for her. If she had known, she would've been more wiser than that.
Before she knew it, her own dark energy ball was being thrown back at her but twice its usual size. Surprised, Ivory now found herself distracted with the energy ball as she was forced to flit out of harm's way, almost colliding with the wall in the process. Just narrowly, she escaped her own attack. She wasn't about to try that one again.

Smiles watched Darius's approach. Just what was the teen doing here anyway. He had automatically assumed that he was here with that keyblader, but why was Tears working with him as well. All of this was slightly confusing to Smiles. He didn't like being confused. Still it seemed that the number of fissures they were facing was dwindling. There were only two more left, and Ivory, Bullseye, and that keyblader were taking them.
Hearing Darius ask to see his injury, Smiles just smiled. It was what he always did. Well if this fool wanted to heal him by all means he was going to let him. "Be my guest." He said taking the cloth he had wrapped himself around it away. It revealed a nasty gunshot wound. Smoke was always proficient with that gun, even if she had been turned into a fissure. The damn things!
The fissure being surrounded by the three people was trying to buy time for Fang to return to father. He had to be warned. She didn't think that she'd be able to take all three of them. Not by herself, and definitely not a keyblader. But she was going to take one of them. Watching the flying dragon lady head towards the wall to get away from the blast that had come towards her, Bullseye suddenly exposed her back to her to turn her gun on Tears.
Tears was trying to close the distance between her and Bullseye so she could use that strange gun on her. She would expect Bullseye to run away from it, not towards it and that was exactly what she did. Tears was taken off guard as she raised her gun as Bullseye came into range. The sound of Bullseye's shot gun sounded as a large blast of energy shot out of it and collided with Tears just as the small girl pulled the trigger.
Bullseye watched her energy shoot out once it hit and send small tiny shots of bullet like energy into Tear's torso. The satisfaction of watching Tears die was the last thing Bullseye saw as her neck exploded. Justice of course let out a shrilling scream of rage. He had been heading over towards Bullseye and the battle, but had not run there fast enough.
The sound of a sharp scream caused even Smiles to turn towards the sound. He then made a decision. Expecting Darius to turn around, Darius rose his gun and aimed a shot right between the plates of armor in his torso. It was not a lethal shot but the area that Smiles aimed was the liver. Now one may ask why? Why would Smiles suddenly turn on Darius when he had just accepted his help to heal him? The answer was simple. Smiles did not like Darius. He was the only thing that kept Ivory from him. And to Smiles, well Ivory was his. He did not share his ownership with anyone, especially someone like Darius. So for Smiles it was simple. Take the moment now to kill Darius, and so he did, he took the shot.
------------------------------------
Lakari stepped out of the cell and began to walk down the pathway. Here he was walking and he had forgotten that he could simply open a door of darkness. Not having his powers for so long had made him rough along the edges. Well no need for that anymore. Opening a door of darkness he stepped into the dark portal and out ten feet in front of the direction Lance was running.
Moving quickly, Lakari shot his arms out and created a large shield behind himself and behind Lance to try and block his escape. Now that was done with he closed the portal behind him and looked at Lance. "Come out spirit! I would like to have a conversation with you!" He said with a large smile. Mine as well get this little part done with. If Lakari was going to help these fools he'd have to speak to this spirit. Of course the moment that these fissures were dealt with he had no more reason to stay. His reasons for doing this? Well it was pretty simple. The fissures could disrupt his future plans if he allowed their existence to continue.

Darius was wary of Smiles. The way the guy smiled all the time just gave him the willies. No normal person smiled all the time. Still, he would abide by what Justice wanted him to do. No doubt, the keyblader had something in mind for Ivory and Smiles. What exactly he had in mind, he wasn't sure. All he knew was that despite his dislike for Smiles, he was going to have to cooperate. That didn't mean he had to like it though. In fact, as he approached Smiles, he almost considered punching him in the face and giving him a talk about if he hurt Ivory, then he'd hunt him down himself. Of course, he refrained from the temptation. For now, he would be civil. If only to keep the peace between their separate parties.
As Smiles gave him that usual creepy smile, Darius wondered what could be going through his mind right now. No doubt, he was confused by this situation. For a brief moment, Darius truly believed the guy was going to try blasting his head off. Every part of Darius wanted to back away right now. However, Smiles eventually complied, telling him to be his guest. With that, he took the cloth he had wrapped about himself off to reveal a nasty gunshot wound. It looked nastier than it really was though. At least, that's what it looked like. As long as Smiles was healed, the injury wouldn't be fatal.
Allowing a hand to reach out toward Smiles, a light engulfed the gunman. As it did so, Smiles would feel a slight itch before he'd notice his wound was sealed up, the bullet that went into him having been popped out as if it had merely just been lying on the skin. The only thing that remained that would remind them an injury had been there would be the blood that Smiles had been bleeding out from the wound.
While Darius had been busy with Smiles, he hadn't noticed how things were fairing on the other end of the room. So, naturally, when Darius heard a sharp cry, he had turned his head towards the source out of instinct and surprise. The simple distraction had cost him. Before he knew what hit him, Darius felt a sharp pain in his side between the plating of his armor. Bringing a hand towards the sudden pain in his torso, Darius felt something warm. As he pulled a hand away to bring it up to his eye level, he saw blood! He was wounded! As the realization struck him, Darius coughed and spluttered. Turning his head to look over at Smiles, he saw the slippery bastard with his gun in hand. He had shot him!
"Y-You-!" Darius struggled to say. His vision was getting hazy but the wound hadn't been fatal. Of course, to Darius, it felt fatal. Smiles probably even thought it was fatal. "B-Bastard!" Darius managed to say before falling back onto the floor, unable to move as he lost consciousness from the shot. Blood dribbled from his wound, slowly forming a puddle.
Ivory, whom had been busy with the two fissures, and the dark energy ball she had fired at Bullseye only to be fired back at her did not see what happened with Smiles and Darius. If she had, she would've been furious. No, instead, she saw Bullseye firing her gun at Tears just as Tears had fired her own gun. The two had ultimately killed each other. Ivory dropped to the floor, dropping to her hands and knees in disbelief. It had happened all too fast!
Pushing herself back up, Ivory focused on one more thing, Fang. Fang was the only remaining fissure here. However, the keyblader had let out a cry, running over. Ivory looked over at him and then toward Fang. Having never fought any of the committee members except Bullseye and even then, it wasn't a real fight, Ivory wasn't sure what properties his guns had other than forming blades from them. Still, he had to be stopped. Furrowing her brows, she charged after him.
----------------------------------------------------------
Lance tried to get away from Lakari. However, the slime appeared before him, ten feet where Lance was running. Skidding to a halt, Lance backed away from him. The elf had used a portal of darkness to move, it seemed. As Lance was backing away, he turned to run. Unfortunately, some sort of barrier prevented him from escaping. Lance found out the hard way as he ran right into it, bouncing back five feet.
Landing on his hands and knees, Lance shook his head, wincing a bit before looking up at Lakari. His eyes were livid despite the fact tears were falling. Then, Lakari told a spirit to come out. Lance furrowed his brows at him wonderingly. Did he know of Rowen? Uncertainly, Lance remained put. Rowen knew that Lakari knew he was here. The two had communicated earlier but Lance didn't know this. Thus, why Lance acted as if he wasn't sure what Lakari had been talking about.
"What could you possibly have to talk to me about? Knowing you, no doubt it's nothing good!" Rowen replied. He seemed to phase onto Lance at that moment. Lance, as far as Lakari could tell, seemed to have suddenly shifted appearances. No longer was there a light haired Wilder. This time, it was Rowen Wilder himself as he looked back at Lakari with narrowed eyes, standing up, poised.

All healed, Smiles rose. Smiles knew exactly where he had hit Darius. He had known the moment he had shot at the bottom torso. It was not a killing shot. Seeing him knocked out, Smiles raised his gun and pointed in between the spot in Darius's helm armor. "Goodnight Darius." Whether or not his bullet succeeded in killing Darius, Smiles didn't bother finding out. After the gun sounded off, Smiles opened a portal next to him, and another behind Justice.
Justice was busy with the death of Bullseye to notice anyone. Ivory had charged out of the room after Fang, who was busy running for his life. Noticing Ivory coming up behind him, Fang decided to battle. Turning about, Fang pressed down on his guns making the energy daggers appear once more. Even though Ivory wasn't exactly ontop of him, Fang swung his arm anyway. The energy dagger suddenly shot out on a chain that was long enough to reach Ivory from her current position.
Stepping out of the portal, Smiles couldn't hide his satisfaction. Raising his gun, Smiles fired at the back of Justice's head. He as well did not stand a chance. Justice dropped dead next to him. Sighing at last, Smiles felt happiness. He did not need anyone to rescue him or deal with Skull. He would deal with the fissure himself.
------------------------
Lakari smiled. He had hoped the spirit would take over Lance's body but him not doing it didn't matter. "Actually it is. Your enemy at the moment is my enemy. So I propose a truce. We help each other. Your decedent says nothing about my return, and I will leave the moment the fissures are dead. You know they need my power. Without it they cannot hope to stop them. And I need them as well."

Darius could do nothing for he was unconscious during the time Smiles had rose. His last thoughts were how pissed he was to have thought he could've done what he did without the risk of being shot. He had thought his sister's being around Smiles would've prevented him from trying to kill him or at least the slime would've been grateful for the help. No, instead Smiles had shot him. Adding insult to injury, Smiles had even fired his bullet at him between the helm's armor intending to kill him permanently.
Now, here's where the interesting part takes over. Smiles did manage to get a bullet in the brain. However, it did not do the effects that he was hoping for. Instead of dying, Darius had gone into a coma induced by the bullet in his brain. So while Smiles walked away, Darius was in very bad shape but still clinging just barely to life. Even still, it was uncertain though how long he'd be in a coma for. Where there was a chance he might never wake from it, there was still a chance that he would. It all depended on the care he got, if any at the rate everything was happening, or not.
As soon as Ivory chased after Fang, she was forced to come to an abrupt halt as the fissure took notice of her. Getting into a battle ready stance, she furrowed her brows as she watched him carefully. Like before, Fang pressed the triggers on his guns and the blades came out again. She hadn't gotten very close to him yet Fang was swinging at her anyway from where he was and she soon found out why. His blades could also reach her via chains. Quickly, she brought up her naginata to deflect one as she dived to the side.
------------------------------------------------------------------
Lance pretty much was forced to take the backseat right now as his ancestor took control. Everything was Rowen's actions now. Lance could see what he was doing as the spirit channeled himself through him to communicate in a solid form with Lakari. He was wary of the elf but he knew that his ancestor must know what he was doing. So, he didn't try to interfere and chose to watch and listen. As he did so, he heard the elf proposing a temporary truce between them. How did they know that they could trust him though? He had already slit Arya's throat and killed her. How were they to know he wouldn't do the same to them once they defeated the enemy?
It was all Rowen though as he peered back at Lakari carefully. "...Where I do not like the idea, I see your point. However...should you ever go back on your bargain, you will have a lot more to worry about than my descendant spilling the beans on your return. Do I make myself clear?" Rowen replied. Lance wasn't sure if he liked the idea but he said nothing and let Rowen take the reigns for now. His body was still his own, Rowen was just channeling through it momentarily.

Lakari didn't hide his smile. "Get one thing in your brain spirit. You might have a body to go into for now. But there is nothing stopping me from attempting to take you out and seal you in another object or person. You should know how powerful I am. Even during your time you couldn't kill me." Sain enough was proof of that.
There was nothing that Lakari feared. No one could truly defeat him in his mind. Not even this Skull. It was just much easier with more people. "I will not betray you. I swear my hands will not touch Lance, White, Darius, Princess Leliana, or that keyblader. My time has not yet come. But it shall. Not in their life time, but it shall."
Lakari let the shield around them drop. He did not think that Lance would attack him. "But victory comes at a cost! And he shall rise under the name Emperor, and the worlds shall fall under his army." He said aloud with a grin. Both Lance and Rowen would recognize the words.
-----------------------------
Smiling Smiles watched Justice die. He had no clue that Darius was alive. At the moment that wasn't even his concern. He had made his decision about these fissures. He would kill them. Walking over Justice's body, Smiles watched the battle between Ivory and Fang. There was no point in just waiting around for her to finish this. Smiles had little time. Seeing Ivory leap to the side, Smiles took the opportunity to plant a bullet in Fangs forehead. The fissure didn't stand a chance since he hadn't spotted Smiles.
The battle was over at Lance. Now he believed there was just one left. "Were going to the top of the tower. Were finishing this now."
Artemis had been by Ivory's side through it all, doing his best at either trying to be quiet or giving her advice. He was glad to see that Smiles gunshot wound seemed healed. But he wondered where the party that had rescued them was. "Where's your brother and the people he came with? Aren't they coming too?" Something didn't seem right to Artemis.
--------------------------
Surprisingly finding the armory wasn't as easy as White had thought. He and Princess Leliana had managed to find the sixth floor with no problem, but it led to only a single room with nothing like an armory in sight. They hadn't run into any opposition and so spent much time bickering back and forth about how this couldn't be the right for.
"I'm telling you this is it! This is the sixth floor!" White explained again. Princess Leliana didn't think so. Neither of them had any idea about how the battles and other operations had turned. They had searched this room up and down and still hadn't found anything.
"Why can't we just go check another floor?" She asked him. Sighing, White leaned against the wall nearest to him. He knew this was the right floor. They both had counted right!
"Maybe there's a hidden door!" White suggested.
Princess Leliana gave him an "are you serious" look. "That's only in movies White. That doesn't really happen."
Crossing his arms, "How do you know Princess Prick!"
Princess Leliana's eyes widened in surprise and sudden rage. "What did you call me?!" She shouted throwing a punch at him. Ducking down, White dodged the attack but caused Princess Leliana to fall forward on top of him. Under all normal circumstances they should have crashed into the wall. However White had been right about a hidden door. Instead of falling to the floor and against the wall, the wall they leaned against flipped picking up their feet and sliding on the other side of the wall.
Looking around in surprise, White found himself in an armory lined with different weapons, pieces of armor, and cabinets. "Ha! I was right!" White said. Princess Leliana punched him anyway.

Rowen stood his ground, not the least bit scared of Lakari. He had died two hundred years ago. Threats now didn't bother him any. If got sealed, so what? He had already lived a life two hundred years ago and a happy one despite the loss of his friend, Sain. However, he'd leave it at that. Let the necromancer threaten him. After all, Rowen had threatened him so it was only likely that he'd receive one in return. He chose to say nothing more, just to keep a firm gaze on the elf.
After making the threat, Lakari went on to say that he wouldn't touch them. His time wasn't in their's but it was to come after it. Rowen furrowed his brows. He had heard of the prophesy through Lance when Drake had uttered it to him. So, Lakari believed he was the one then? It would make sense. Lakari had betrayed them all. As the elf dismissed the shields around them, Lakari confirmed Rowen's and Lance's thoughts by uttering the very words that Lance had written down on a blank page in the poem book his mother had meant for him to have.
"So, it's you then..." Rowen replied.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Darius heard nothing, saw nothing. However, he could feel. Not in the sense of feeling pain. No, he couldn't feel his pain. He could just find himself in what appeared to be a dimension of some sort. He was placed upon some sort of mural below his feet. Looking down at it, he saw himself asleep with images of his sister, Lance and White. Each of them had images behind them off to the side facing away. Leliana was next to White looking off to the side. The two appeared to be happy together. 'No surprise there, the two fight like a married couple!' Darius thought to himself.
It wasn't easy seeing each visage so he had to walk over to better look at them. The one with Lance had seemed connected to White's now that Darius looked at it. Justice was seemingly even further away from them all, looking upon the two as if at a great distance. Next, Darius found the one with Ivory. Who was further away from her appeared to be Smiles. The smile on his face was nasty and Darius found himself raging. That bastard had shot him! He probably even killed him! How else was Darius to explain this dimension? Even still, he had to wonder why Ivory's visage was odd. One half was her and the other, was someone Darius had never seen in his life. Confused, Darius inspected the image. It was a man no older than he was with black spiky hair and green eyes.
Puzzled, Darius continued on to find Mr. Thomas and this one was the most disturbing. Mr. Thomas's visage went from what Darius was accustomed to seeing him as to something demented. Before his visage was a scene of a dead Arya. All this while, Darius was the largest of the strange mural on the floor and on the center pretty much. What did this mean? "Where am I?" No voice came though. Darius was in a world of silence.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As Ivory darted to the side, she did not see Smiles. She had been so focused on Fang that she thought nothing else. She had believed everyone else would be alright. Granted, one of their number died but they would be fine. She had no idea how very wrong she was. At the sound of a gunshot went off, Ivory watched Fang's fissure die. Surprised, Ivory turned to find Smiles had arrived on the scene. He had killed Fang's fissure and was now telling her that they were going to the top of the tower and they were going to finish it.
Ivory rose her eyebrows at this but something didn't seem right. For one, where was that keyblader and where was Darius? Were they mourning Tears death or something? She heard Artemis and knew they were on the same page with this. "What about my brother and the people he came with? They were helping us earlier. Are they coming too?" she asked him.

Lakari ignored Rowen's words. "No need to ponder that now, eh spirit?" Placing his hands in his pockets, Lakari figured it was time to get going. If they were going to find Skull and the rest of Lance's cheery gang. Opening a door of darkness that led to the hallway they were supposed to meet Justice, Darius, and Tears, Lakari held out his arm towards the door. "Shall we then?"
-----------------------
Smiles knew he had to chose just the right words. He couldn't have Ivory turning down that hallway now. While he could easily convince her Bullseye had killed Darius, it would be hard to explain with her weapon. Better for her to forget all about it. "They have their own ways of things. We have ours, Ivory." Opening the familiar portal, Smiles knew it led to the hallway to the throne room.
If she continued to challenge him things might get a bit messy. Artemis for sure wasn't buying it. He respected Smiles only because he had no reason yet to challenge him. However he didn't trust assassins to begin with. "I'm sure he's right about that."[/i] They did have different parties here. Even though they did help them, that didn't mean they were here for the same thing. Artemis had to admit that Smiles had a point in that.
"But can you two really take Skull by yourself?" Smiles might be strong, but Artemis had seen what Skull had done. So had Ivory and Smiles. This was not going to be an easy battle at all.
-------------------------------
As they searched in the room, White periodically touched the black eye he now had. Damn that woman! How was it she always got on his nerves. Glancing over to her, Smiles watched her bend down and look through one of the lower racks of swords. He couldn't help but look at her curves!
"Keep staring and I'll punch you again." White's eyes snapped off and back to the cabinet he was trying to open. Damn that woman! He guessed it must be true, women really did have eyes in the back of their head! In reality Leliana had seen White staring off the mirror like quality of the sword she was looking at.
White had managed to look through all the cabinets besides this one that wouldn't open for some reason. There had been no keyblades in any of them. He thought that the keyblade they were looking for had to be in this one! If he could just get it open!
Continuing to pull on the handle he had no gained. He needed more strength! He knew the keyblade had to be in here! Where else would it be? Charging himself with electricity, he pulled and pulled until at last the thing opened. Smiling, White glanced in the cabinet to find....... nothing.
"Is it in there?" Leliana asked hopefully.
Sighing, White shook his head. "No... There's no keyblade here." Justice was wrong.
"What should we do now? Maybe there's another armory?" Princess Leliana asked.
White shook his head. They didn't have time to keep searching. "We don't have time to search every floor. Let's go to the first floor. See if their still there. If not we'll head to the last floor."
Princess Leliana wanted to search the other floors but she knew White was right. They didn't have the time. White and Leliana headed back to the wall that they had entered from. Getting out of the room was much easier then getting in it. A simple switch to the side made the moving wall disappear for a moment so that they could get through.
Walking out of the armory and then out of the room, White and Princess Leliana headed down the staircase towards the first floor.
---------------------------
"Somewhere between here and there." A voice said behind Darius. Behind him Red Loki walked up next to him. He looked pretty much the same as he always did. Sixteen, short, with red wavy hair, yellow eyes, a scar on his right cheek. Black pants and boots accompanied a gray t-shirt with a black ziped up jacket with a hood pulled back. Finally his left arm and hand, upon further notice, was completely wrapped in medical tape. With the jack though one would only see that his hand was wrapped up. He didn't have the usual gloves he wore.

Rowen furrowed a brow at Lakari. "It's Rowen." It wasn't long before Lakari opened up a portal of darkness though. Looking over at it, Rowen was careful to keep watch of the elf. They were working together for now but there was no telling what he'd try to do considering Lance had seen what he did. For now, he was going to assume the elf would work with them if only to destroy the fissures too. Once that was done though, Rowen would have to ensure Lance was out of his range.
"Yes, we shall." With that, Rowen channeling through Lance's body had him walk through the portal. Rowen's visage immediately was replaced with Lance's as he allowed Lance to take over again. Still, he was with Lance and would appear if the youth needed his help.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ivory listened as Smiles merely stated that they had their ways and Darius and the others had their own ways. After saying that, Smiles had opened up a portal. As she looked over at it, she could see that it was leading into a hallway somewhere else. Still, she couldn't help this nagging feeling like she should head back. Why would Darius leave her? He always seemed intent on going after her. Something didn't feel right at all.
She heard Artemis in her mind then, stating that he was sure that he was right about that. Maybe so but it didn't feel like Darius to just turn away from something he was involved in. She glanced at the door from whence she came before turning to Smiles. For some reason, she got the feeling that if she went to the room that Smiles would get angry with her. There was something nagging at her to go back. She had no idea that it was her twin senses picking up on Darius's distress.
As she stood, ready to follow Smiles, she heard Artemis. Ivory wasn't so sure herself. The idea of them fighting the fissure alone didn't sound good. Why was Smiles having them go in by themselves? He seemed like himself. She didn't see any yellow coloring to his eyes. On top of it, the wound he had was healed. "Darius healed you, I see." she stated. Ivory felt a wave of gratitude towards her brother for helping Smiles. She had no idea that Smiles had just tried to kill her brother. "So, we're going to challenge Skull by ourselves?" she inquired. "Ready when you are." Really, she wasn't. Going and fighting Skull seemed suicidal to her.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Darius nearly leapt out of his skin at the sound of a voice. A voice he didn't recognize as he got to his feet. Confused, Darius turned to find another young man whom had just walked up next to him. Inspecting him, Darius could see he was close in age to himself. The guy had red hair and yellow eyes. Darius gave him a confused look.
"Between here and...there?" he repeated incredulously. Just what did he mean by that? As he remembered the events, did this guy mean that he was in between life and death maybe? Or was he referring to dimensions or worlds? Darius was so confused.
"Did he...kill me?" Darius wondered. Maybe he was about to pass on? Looking back down at his friends and his sister though, Darius wasn't sure if this was the way he wanted to go. If he had to die, he'd rather die fighting for those he cared about or from old age. "And...who are you?" he asked the young man. Darius was certain that he had never seen him before.

White and Princess Leliana practically ran down the stairs. Before when they were coming up, they could still hear gunshots from below. Now, as they walked down the staircase, they heard nothing. White didn't know if that was a good thing or a bad thing. He trusted his comrades. He knew Justice was powerful, he had to be to survive the attacks.
As they came to the first floor, Smiles nodded in answer to Ivory. "Yes. Let's go then." Heading into the portal, Smiles appeared on the other side. Once Ivory entered the portal would close behind her. As Smiles and Ivory entered the hallway, so too did Lakari and Lance.
Artemis, through Ivory's eyes, recognized Lakari immediately. The elf looked exactly the same as he had to Ivory and Smiles in the images of him in the past. "Aww hell no!"[/i] Artemis warned Ivory.
Smiles was also taken aback. By all means, the elf should not be alive. What did it mean that he was, and that he was traveling with Ivory's brother. Of course Lakari did not know this. Glancing at Ivory, he gave her a quick shake of his head. He did not want her to reveal that they knew who this elf was.
"And who might you two be?" Smiles asked. He recognized Lance from when they had battled with him on the Enchanted Domain.
"I am Mr. Thomas. And this is my friend Lance. Were waiting for our friends." Lakari said. He did not miss the look of worry in Smiles's eyes as he glanced at his friend. Something was up between them. They knew something. There was a look of recognition in Smiles that Lakari did not like. He would have his guard to them.
A voice in front of them down the hallway spoke. "There will be no waiting. You will all die here." Skull said from the doorway to the throne room. He was dressed as he always was with a single piece of armor covering his shoulder, pants, and a strange mouth piece over his mouth.
---------------------------
Back in the room, White found a horror scene. He came upon Darius first. This wasn't supposed to happen! Darius was supposed to be ok! He was his best friend. There was blood flowing from a wound in his chest. White noticed that first as he rushed over. Princess Leliana was close behind. Glancing at his head though, White saw the hole in his head. Someone had shot him!
White began to shake. No! Not Darius! Not after everything they've been through! He couldn't be dead. He wasn't allowed to be dead! He was supposed to be his friend. "No! Your not allowed to die!" White screamed at him. But what did it matter? He had trusted Justice, and now Darius was dead!
"Is he alive?" She asked. Glancing at her, White wondered if she was an idiot?! How could you survive an attack like that? Still it made him check.
Surprisingly, White did feel a pulse. It was barley there but he found it. "He's alive! But not for long! Can you heal him?"
Princess Leliana nodded. "I'll do my best." White watched, as Princess Leliana assumed the form that she had taken earlier to heal him. Stretching out her hands, a white light poured over Darius, healing his physical injuries.
White expected for Darius to wake up then. He expected him to jump up and breath a deep breath. But he didn't. His breathing centered, but he hadn't awoken. Princess Leliana resumed her human form and looked at Darius closely now.
"Did it work?"
Princess Leliana replied with, "I can't heal mental injuries. I think that bullet hit his brain. He might not be there anymore White...."
Tears fell from White's eyes as he brought Darius into his arms. He had yet to discover Justice's dead body yet. At the moment the question didn't cross him.
--------------------------
Red nodded. "That's right." He wasn't going to expand on it. Darius would figure that out himself soon. Glancing at Darius's reality he listened to his question about death. Such a tricky subject! It was one that even perplexed Red to this day.
"Well I think that depends on you. We all have that choice. I decided my time was done. I had accomplished what I wanted with my life, even though I was only seventeen. The answer for me was simple. But you have to make your own choice in that one bro."
Red purposely ignored the question to his name. This wasn't his story. He was just a guide to Darius in this moment of his life. It was a critical moment, and one that Red was going to help him through. Staying here was the right decision in his life. He had watched his friends grow old and have a full life. They did not forget him.

Ivory looked back as Smiles simply answered her. With that, he had gone through the portal, saying nothing more after stating they should go. Watching him go, Ivory then glanced over her shoulder back towards the room from where she had come. The angle she was in, she couldn't see the other side and what lay there. If she had, she would've freaked out. Despite the nagging feeling, Ivory made herself go through the portal behind him. She couldn't help but feel as if they were walking into a death trap. As the two of them entered the hallway, Ivory took notice of Lakari and Lance.
In her head, she could hear Artemis's reaction. Like him, she wasn't sure how to react. How could he be alive? Then again, she remembered that some time after that fight with his master Lakari had supposedly killed Artemis. So, he had to have survived but she wasn't sure how he managed it. Judging by the way Smiles was standing, Ivory guessed that he was just as taken aback. When Smiles looked back at her and gave a quick shake of his head, Ivory put on a face of mild surprise. One could mistake it for a look of surprise seeing other people there. Smiles then spoke to them, asking them who they might be.
Lance took notice of them as well. He knew that Ivory and Smiles had seen him once before. Still, neither of them had learned his name. As he looked upon them, Lance wondered what they were doing here. He hadn't been aware of the mission that his father had for himself, Tears and Darius. All he knew was that supposedly there had been a way to save Darius's sister. Yet, here she was, looking as if she didn't need any saving. What was up with that?
It was then that Lakari had spoke. He introduced himself as Mr. Thomas and the youth with the light blue hair as Lance. Ivory looked between them. The one with the light blue hair, she recognized and she could tell that he recognized her. She had, after all, almost killed him when she knocked him over the bridge into the water. She could tell that he was wary but there was confusion on his face too. Why was he looking at her like that? She hadn't known of the rescue mission ordeal. Taking his eyes off her, Lance looked over at Smiles. There was a moment of silence between them.
Before they could continue though, another voice was heard. Ivory turned, knowing who the voice belonged to. As she did, she found Skull standing there. Already, she could feel herself grow tense at the threat. 'Here we go, Artemis!' she said to him in her mind.
Lance turned and almost froze. He remembered the orders to not fight Skull alone and that they weren't strong enough by themselves. Justice had given them orders to run if they came across Skull by themselves. Lance wasn't sure how many of them it would take to defeat Skull but his father made it clear that two of them couldn't do much. Maybe their entire group needed to help in this? "Mr. Thomas...we have to get out of here..." he said. They needed to find Justice's group and White's.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Darius was oblivious to the fact that he had been found lying on the floor seemingly dead. He knew that he had been hurt but not the injury in the head. He had no idea that right now, he should logically be dead. No one normally survived a bullet wound to the head, especially when it hit the brain. He said and did nothing as White tried to wake him.
He didn't know that his friends were trying to heal him. Where the wounds were gone, Darius still hadn't woken up yet. He was alive and breathing fine but he wasn't waking. Darius was still in a coma.
Unaware of the events outside, Darius looked at the other being curiously. When he had asked if he was in between life and death, Darius wasn't sure how to take it. So, he was teetering between living and dying. Smiles, that bastard! He had thrown him into this situation! That ungrateful bastard! Darius couldn't help but rage at the thought of him still hanging around his twin sister and now there was nothing he could do about it.
When he had asked Red if he was killed, the answer he received was mind boggling. He was to decide what to do from here? That didn't make any sense. Glancing at the scene under his feet, Darius wasn't sure how he was going to get out of this one. "I...don't understand. You're saying that it's up to me whether I die or not?" he said before sighing. "...You still never told me who you were...maybe you can't?" he said, looking at Red. He looked almost like the guy with black spiky hair.
As he thought about his life, Darius was uncertain. He wanted to live and yet, there was a part of him that didn't. He didn't want to die like this but was it worth going back? His sister hated him. His sister was no longer the person he remembered her to be. His friends could live just fine without him but did he really want to just simply abandon them all and allow himself to pass on? He was torn. No, he didn't want to die when they still needed his help. Skull would kill them all!
