Damien furrowed a brow as the elf told the other that it was done. Did they mean the healing or was there something else? The other elf just smiled at the dark haired one before saying farewell. With that, they leapt up to the roof tops and were gone. Damien, much like Orion, had watched them go in just as much confusion. Well, at least they were gone now but who they were, he hadn't a clue.
Now, Damien could focus on who gave that stupid order to the recruiters and recruits. No doubt, this whole situation would not go ignored. Their cover was pretty much blown here on Twilight Town. They might have to lay low for a while and probably go to another world temporarily until further notice. This world was close to danger anyways. Ivan had the book and very soon this world was going to fall victim to the darkness. Then, the entity would see that they eliminated one world once all here was gone.
The girl recruit finally woke up. Damien brought his gaze towards the two. Maybe they had some idea where Raymund could have gone? Raymund might know who gave that crazy order. Then, Damien could get down to the bottom of it. When she took notice of the other recruit, the girl had gone as far as punching him in the stomach. Damien, not sure why she had done it, looked on with raised eyebrows and a surprised expression. Judging by what she was saying, the other had almost caused her to die.
Just after her rant, she turned on Damien. No wrath was worse than a woman's wrath. Instinctively, Damien felt himself inwardly recoil at her sudden attention. Was she about to lash out at him for being here? Instead, the girl caught sight of the emblem on his shoulder guard. Immediately recognizing what that meant, the girl dropped to one knee and bowed before him. No sooner had she done so and so had the other recruit. It made Damien feel out of place. Granted, he loved his rank but the attention that came with it was a bit much sometimes.
"It's nothing. This whole mission was absurd and foolish. Do you've any idea as to where Raymund might be? I'm trying to figure out who had given such an order that not only killed a number of you but had also broken our cover." Did they, perhaps, have a traitor in their midst in one of the higher circles? Was it someone around his own rank? So many question, so little time.
"Erm...you needn't bow to me."

Prince Orion rose as soon as Damien said he didn't need to bow to him. The girl was slightly more reluctant to rise. Honestly Prince Orion had no clue as to who exactly set all of the mission up. "Well I was heading back to the Pub called the Three Olives..." Prince Orion thought it better to act as if he had not recognized this youth yesterday. The less questions the better.
The girl on the other hand shook her head. "There wasn't a rondeavu point that I know of sir. I um... I don't know who ordered the mission. I believe it was Raymund's plan, but I do not know who gave the order sir. Though if your looking for the pub I believe its in that direction." She pointed north west. There wasn't a specific street she was pointing too, but Prince Orion got the general idea.
He had figured he was somewhat heading the right way. "What's to happen now?" Prince Orion and the girl began to walk towards Damien planning on walking back towards the pub as long as that was where Damien wanted to go.

Damien folded his arms as the two recruits rose. The girl being the most reluctant of the two. Really, they didn't need to bow to him. The only ones they would need to bow to would be Ivan and the other three of the four heads. Ivan had put it into Damien's brain that where he was of higher rank than most, he was still nothing. Where initially people bowing to him should flatter him, it made him feel awkward instead. Sure, he flashed his emblem around but only when he needed to. Usually, to get what he wanted. He wasn't used to this kind of treatment. Formalities were more so for his father and the other three heads.
His eyes turned to the man around his age. He was the first to speak out of the two, stating that he was going to be heading for the Three Olives. Damien immediately thought against it. If word got out about them, surely the Senator and his knights would know by now where they were hidden? Besides, if there was a traitor in their midst then going back would be a bad mistake to make. No, instead they would need to figure out who had given the order and who to find to put a stop to this.
Next, the girl spoke, Damien turned his head to look over at her now as she answered his question to the best of her abilities. There hadn't been any rondeaveu point. Hearing that made it sound all the more fishy. Who would give such an order and not give a point where they could retreat to should they fail? Obviously, they were expecting them all to die. The mission was clearly suicidal. Since they had no other answers, judging by what the girl was saying, there was no way that they could figure this out without trying to return to where he didn't want to go. Back to the pub, there would surely be enemies waiting for them. It could even be a spot where the traitor had an ambush lying in wait for any survivors.
Supposedly, this mission had been Raymund's plan but the order, no one knew about. Sighing to himself at this, Damien looked over at the two as they had approached him. Glancing at the other around his age, hearing his question, Damien knew what their option was if they were going to figure this situation out. Shutting his eyes, he spoke.
"If we plan on getting to the bottom of this, we are to head back to the pub. I will warn you both now. If what you say is true and no return point was given, chances are we have a traitor in our midst. What their motives could be, we don't know but all I can say is there will surely be an ambush lying in wait for us there depending on if that is where they expect survivors to run to. Be careful and stay alert. I will do my best to ensure neither of us are harmed but do not rely heavily upon it. There is no telling what will happen and I cannot say whether or not a traitor is in it for themselves or associated with someone else. If it is the previous then it's best to stick close or all three of us are as good as dead. If it might be the latter, I still advise sticking close since we do not know their motives just yet."
Once he was done, mentally sighing at the long winded answer, he turned toward the general direction that the girl had pointed. He knew it was somewhere that way. After traveling a few times to the pub, he was certain that landmarks would point him in the right direction. If there was a traitor and it turned out to be someone of rank that wasn't in Damien's field then this might be resolved more easily but he doubted it. He wasn't sure of these recruits, not knowing nor really finding it in himself to trust them, could even handle someone of a higher rank just yet. Well, he guessed now was a good time as any to see how they'd do but he'd rather not risk their lives.
"Of course, if you'd rather leave then you can leave now. I'm not sure what we'll be facing but know this. We don't kill our own and we protect our own. If you plan on staying, then follow me and we'll get to the bottom of this." With that, Damien took the lead and headed down the street in the direction the girl spoke of. Already, he could feel a familiarity with the area as he went. As he did so, he held his blade. There was, after all, still likely knights looking for them around any given corner and possible skirmishes nearby. That and there was no telling who the traitor was if there even was a traitor to begin with. Maybe a new enemy? One that intended for both sides to die? That, too, was a possibility. Anything here was possible and it bothered Damien. He didn't like knowing things.
As they reached where the pub would be, Damien silently motioned for them to pause. Bringing a finger to his lips, he signaled for them to be silent. Ever so carefully, he peered about the corner of the wall they were pressed up against to conceal themselves. He saw no one there and already, Damien was suspicious. It looked deserted, not a good sign at all. They were definitely headed right into some kind of trap.
Pulling his head away and back behind the wall to look at the other two, or other one, Damien spoke in a low tone but loud enough for the two to hear him. "The place appears to be deserted. Considering how it has been the last couple of times I've been here, there's a likely chance we are walking into a trap. Try to act casual and should you notice anything out of the ordinary, don't keep it to yourself." With that, Damien stepped out, making sure his emblem for the time being was covered. It was best to have the element of surprise on his end. (OOC: If you've anything in mind, you're free to take control and do so lol. I've nothing in particular but figured logically if there was a traitor then they'd have this area set up as a trap for survivors if they made a suicidal mission to dispose of the entire group of recruits and their recruiters lol.)

Prince Orion was getting nervous. The talks of there being some sort of traitor made Orion feel that Damien was talking to him. Heck he was a moment ways from summoning his armor in sword until Damien made it clear he did not know who the traitor was. Prince Orion was a traitor, but he had just entered the organization. Neither he or Max had known anything about what they would be doing today. For that reason he didn't believe that he set this up.
"If i can find this traitor, I can ally myself to them!"[/i] Orion thought. Perhaps the best thing to do would be to stick with Damien. So he followed him. The girl had no problem doing so. No doubt she was doing this for the right reason.
As they walked she spoke up, "I don't think this is Raymund's fault sir. He is a good man. A man who is devoted to the order. I don't think he would do this. I've not been in this organization for more then a couple of weeks, but I don't think its him."
Orion didn't have a comment, so he just went along and listened with the conversation. He had yet to ask her name after all of this time. "What is your name anyway?"
The girl glanced at him and her eyes narrowed. "I don't see a reason to tell you. I don't have your name either."
Prince Orion just shook his head. Fine. It was probably better that way anyway. As they came to a pause and Damien motioned them into silence, Orion could feel his pulse beating in his ears. The place was very silent... not at all like how the pub was last night or this morning. Nodding in understanding Orion stepped out into the open space after Damien. He really hoped this wasn't a trap.
It was about that time that fifteen soldiers in white armor made themselves known. Two came form the pub themselves, while two others jumped down from the roof of the pub behind them. From the other side of the street the rest appeared from hidden spots. They were completely surrounded and Orion did not yet have a weapon.
"What are three youths doing in such an odd alley that has been rumored to hold fugitives of the senate?" One of the knights said.

Damien hadn't thought of Orion to be a traitor but he definitely didn't trust recruits just yet since he didn't know them anyway. He wasn't sure if any of them were loyal to the organization or if they had other reasons. Damien, because of his father, was normally paranoid of others. Recruits were not to be trusted. For now though, he figured that he could let them come along. They appeared to be friendly for now. The girl seemed a bit too willing almost. Well, there was no doubt this one seemed genuine but there had been that whisper in that girl's ear earlier made from one of the elves. He wasn't sure what that elf had said to her but hopefully she hadn't been bewitched or was a traitor too. Yep, Damien was definitely paranoid. Like it or not though, he had to trust they wouldn't do anything for the time being. That didn't mean he'd leave a blind eye to either of them though.
Damien heard the girl talking to him about Raymund, claiming she didn't think it was Raymund's fault. He did know Raymund but only to a point. His father had been careful of keeping Damien distant from everyone else. Raymund seemed like a good person despite teasing him. Plus, he had been a recruiter of their's for quite some time. Surely, he was for the order like the woman was saying.
"I believe you." He did.Damien didn't think Raymund would turn coat on them after how long of a servitude he had with the organization. So, who could it be? Behind him, while he was contemplating this, he heard the two bickering. Apparently, neither revealed their names to the other. It seemed they were just as suspicious of each other. Thankfully, the two fell into silence after the girl's witty retort. Damien didn't like hearing others bicker, it just gave him headaches.
No sooner had they made their way to the pub and Damien said what he had to say, they all stepped out into the open clearing. Damien had been right about an ambush lying in wait for them. A traitor had to have tipped them off. There was no other explanation for the knights being here so soon. As they were surrounded, Damien kept his cool. He remained poised and watchful. Already, he was inspecting the knights as one approached them with a question. No doubt, he suspected them of being the fugitives. Well, the knight was right about that. At least in Damien's case. However, he wasn't an easy one to catch.
"Fugitives? That's new to us. Who told you such a thing, sir? I mean, there are ruffians like any bar or pub, of course, but fugitives of the senate?" Damien answered the knight's question with a question. He was acting surprised about the statement like any civilian would act hearing such things.
"Excuse us for the intrusion. Our lady friend here was in dire need of a bathroom and this was the only closest public place." Damien was a bit surprised with himself but he figured this seemed genuine enough. He just hoped the other two would go along with it. Even if they didn't buy it, he could always portal them to safety and escape.

Orion felt absolutely stunned. There were knight! What did he do know? He was a prince. If they brought him in front of the senator his cover would be blown. That would destroy his hard work. Orion had to do everything in his power to not get his cover blown, he decided. That would be letting Damien take charge of this conversation. The less attention he drew to himself the better.
The knight who had questioned them turned towards the girl. Thankfully she was a quick thinker because the moment Damien mentioned the bathroom her movement changed ever so slightly. It was not such a change that Orion or even the knight could tell if she was faking or not. But seeing her restlessly tap her foot, it was enough of a sale for the knight.
Still he didn't look like he was just about to let them loose just yet. "It doesn't matter who told us boy! We are the police of this state. We enforce the laws here!"
He glanced over to his fellow knights. Orion watched the interaction. Law was one of the things that he spent a lot of time studying. Even though each world governed differently, Orion's father thought it was important to at least know the laws as they were stated from the remaining worlds.
"Twilight Town Law XVII: No citizen may be arrested without probable cause or warrant. Perhaps it is just me sir knight but I hardly think three teenagers could do much against knights like yourself, so why would we be involved in fugitive work?"
Prince Orion had said the words aloud before he even noticed it. He knew it was a mistake and revealed that he knew more than an average street man would. "Way to make things harder for yourself!"[/i] He thought.
The knight's eyes narrowed. "An academy student? What is an academy student doing here?"
At first Prince Orion blanked at the knight's response. Academy student...? He had no idea what that was. Then it hit him. There was an academy here, but it was very expensive and someone in these parts with what he was wearing looked suspicious.
"I grew up in these parts sir! These are my friends from childhood. I was just visiting them." Lies upon lies! Orion just hoped he could keep up with them.
The knight crossed his arms and smiled. "Well a rich boy like you then should be able to give us some... incentive... to let you go?"

Damien didn't glance at the girl but he hoped that she had caught on quick enough. What they said and did here mattered a lot if they wanted to fool these knights into thinking they were harmless. Behind him, he could hear someone's foot tapping. Probably the girl's since there was no reason for the other youth to be tapping his foot right now. The knight seemed to inspect her too while he was at it. It seemed like he was convinced but still not enough to let them through.
The knight's next response, Damien half considered thwacking the guy upside the head but thought better of it. If he lost his patience right now just because someone called him a boy, he could cost them their lives or freedom. So, he refrained but it was annoying as hell. "Excuse me for being curious!" he retorted simply.
No sooner had that brief exchange ended when the other guy in their trio spoke up. Damien furrowed his brow slightly as he turned his head to look over at Orion quizzically. Who would know that kind of thing? Was he a local or a scholar, perhaps? Whatever he was, he definitely wasn't someone average. However, what Orion was proposing was a viable point. What good would the three of them do against fifteen or more knights? The knight, taken aback by Orion's words, had fixed his attention on him. Judging by what he was saying, he believed that Orion was an academy student. Damien, not being a local or informed of Twilight Town much, figured it had to do with something up there in this world.
Damien wasn't sure if Orion really was an academy student but one thing was certain, he wasn't typical. As he spoke, Damien mentally sighed at what Orion had said. He wasn't so sure that the knights would buy that excuse. Damien didn't think he appeared to be of this world at all. Even with the excuse given, the knight simply smiled at Orion. With that, he suggested that Orion should give them an incentive to let him go. No doubt, they were asking for some sort of bribery. Most likely, they wanted munny from them. It made Damien's blood boil. These knights were beginning to be more of an annoyance. Just what had they to offer? It's not like Damien had a lot of munny in his back pocket or anything.

Lucky for them Orion did have munny. But he was reluctant to use it. It was the only munny he had though. His father had told him to do this all by himself. That meant no help from the treasury, no guards, no white knights to help him. Orion reached into his pocket and pulled out a small satchel of munny. It probably held close to four to five thousand. Tossing it to the knight, the soldier snatched it from the air.
Opening it his face lit up with glee. "Alright then boys! They paid the toll. Now if I see you three around here again I will arrest you." The knight held up his finger and moved it in a circle. The knights moved as if this was a signal. The two behind them climbed back ontop the roof, the two in front returning to inside the pub, and the others returning to their hiding spots.
Orion crossed his arms, feeling kind of pissed, as he walked out of that situation. He had no idea where Damien would want to go now though. Well at least they were out of that mess... Still he had some explaining to do. When they were finally far away the girl next to him suddenly turned and shoved him into the side of a house. She had drawn her dagger and held it to his neck.
"Sir should we kill him? I don't trust him?"

Damien inwardly sighed as he watched Orion take out a small satchel of munny. Well, this recruit was definitely no mere recruit. He knew of the laws here and on top of it, had munny to spare judging by the way the knight reacted to what he found inside the contents of that bag. Could he be trusted? No. Damien didn't trust either of them, quite frankly. Never the less, this guy had paid their way out of a trap. Not that they really needed to but it had prevented a confrontation that could've ended badly for them.
No sooner had he received the munny, the knight spoke to the others. If the knight were to see them here again, he would arrest them. Damien inwardly laughed at the man. If he was to arrest him, he would find that Damien could portal through just about anything if he wanted to. That was why he didn't fear them getting caught. As far as answers went, they got nothing here but he was certain there had been a betrayal somewhere down the line. They would need to find Raymund though to see who had given him the order. It was such a foolish order and suicidal. How could Raymund fall for something like that? Damien had thought the man was smarter than that. Unless, of course, it came from a higher up that threatened treason if he didn't obey. If that was the case then their traitor was definitely up there in rank. Damien wasn't sure though who it was. Maybe the woman? His father? Ivan didn't like recruits and he had threatened to kill Damien once so would it occur to him to try this kind of thing? He wasn't sure but they needed answers.
As they made their way through the area and away from where the pub stood, Damien went into thought. They had to find Raymund. Had he already left though? Had he been captured? Or was he dead? A lot of questions filled his mind. Questions that had bothered him greatly. As soon as they were out of sight and earshot of the knights, Damien turned at the sound of someone being thrown into a wall nearby. Eyes settling upon Orion and the girl, Damien could see that the girl had taken it upon herself to interrogate Orion. When she spoke, Damien heard her ask if they should kill him and that she didn't trust him. Honestly, Damien didn't trust either of them but he kept that fact to himself right now.
Silently, he looked between the two. It would be disgraceful to kill someone who had helped them twice. The girl once and then paying their way out of trouble. Granted, Damien could've easily had them escape but that was beside the point. Neither of them knew that he could portal out of here at will at any given time. The only time he chose to not portal was when he decided to involve himself in battle.
"Killing him won't tell us if there are more like him. Where he may be untrustworthy, we have a far bigger fish to fry right now. Considering someone had ordered Raymund to do what he did, no doubt that means one of higher rank had done so. If that is the case then that means one of my skill level or one of the four heads is responsible for the betrayal. If that is the case, there will be a lot of hell to pay. The gap in power between myself, only a rank just a step below them, is so great you can't even imagine. Keep an eye on him for now but don't kill him lest he gives you reason to." He had watched Orion when he said all of this.
"Anyways, we need to find Raymund and get to the bottom of this. If one of the four ever did betray us, we need to find out why. It could jeopardize not just us but everyone else around us." How hypocritical. The organization was meant to destroy in order to cleanse and begin the universe anew. However, they apparently only killed people that got in their way and not innocent people. It seemed that they only killed a mass of people once they actually destroyed a world.
"Any idea where he could be other than the pub? If not, then I will take us to one of our other bases."

Orion was stunned. That was the only reason the girl had managed to throw him against the wall. He was not weak! Probably a majority of people would have ended up the same way. At least that was what he told himself when finally the girl released him.
He was slightly surprised to see that Damien didn't trust him. The way he spoke, it was like Orion was nothing more then a piece of cheese! He was still a person! He had practically given the girl the permission to kill him if he gave her enough reason to. "Where is the justice in that?! What about the rights of the individual?! Power over death must be used fairly and only when certain conditions are met!"
Orion thought all of this as he rubbed his neck. Displeasure was probably very clear on his face after Damien's response. He had to remind himself that this organization and the people in it were murders. There was no justice in this organization. That was why his mission of taking them down was important. And right now he had an opportunity to find out as much information as possible to do so. If there was a traitor, it would be more helpful for him to ally himself with him or her or they.
The girl returned her dagger back in a small sheath. "I really don't know sir... Don't you know of any other places here that are important. Since your as high up as you say you are, surely you must know of one sir. Perhaps that is where we should check?" The girl came off a bit snotty, but Orion could tell that she probably really did respect Damien. Orion had no answers to give to Damien. He could only shrug in response to the question.

Damien had meant by what he said as reason being whether or not the guy tried attacking or doing something underhanded. He figured the girl would know that. If not, well Orion would best tread carefully and not give the girl cause to stab him or something. Damien wasn't sure though if she would considering she had been so eager to protect the guy from earlier. Most likely because he was a team member, which was honorable if that were the case, but he still didn't think she would. Never the less, they were to keep a close eye on Orion. Damien, of course, keeping an eye on both of them. He didn't trust either of them, after all. If anyone wanted him to trust them, they had to earn that trust.
In truth, he knew that he needed to find Raymund. Problem was, Ivan never really told him anything about this world. So, quite frankly, he was unsure of where things were still. There was probably just one more prominent secret area that they had that he knew of but that was it. He blamed his father for being so distant with him and keeping information from him. Trust, Ivan lacked it.
As Damien looked between the two, he saw Orion shrug and heard the girl's response. He rose a brow at her forwardness. He wasn't sure how to respond to that but if she persisted with an attitude like that, he might need to remind her what he was. It was probably a poor choice of words on her part so he refrained from losing his cool. Still, he had given her a bit of a look when she said that. Dismissing it, he thought for a moment, sighing to himself. He was high in rank but his father kept a lot of things from him. He just tossed Damien into whatever world and expected him to come out on top knowing nothing of where he was thrown.
"I would...if Ivan would have told me anything of this world, I would. The only other one I know of, and that's second to the three olives, would be the one in Sunset Terrace." With that, he simply motioned for them to follow. Holding out a hand, he ripped open a portal right before their very eyes. Looking into the portal, they would see that the other side of Twilight Town, Sunset Terrace, was laid out before them. "This will take us to the spot." With that, Damien stepped through the portal and into Sunset Terrace. On the other end, he turned and faced the portal, waiting for the other two. If Orion chose to run now, he could. Either of them could.

Orion didn't plan on leaving. Not yet. He had come too far! Orion was slightly worried about Max though. He had heard nothing about him. Would he come back to the pub? Orion hoped not. Max would spill his guts if someone pointed a sword at him. He would definitely be looking for Orion though. The question was for how long? How long before Max returned to his mother or worse?
Listening to Damien, he watched him create that strange portal thing again. Just what was it?! Watching him step through, Orion was shocked to see him disappear. Perhaps it worked like a portable device? The girl had no problems trusting Damien, and walked right through. He followed right after.
Coming out onto sunset terrace, Orion glanced around. The area was about as busy as the market district and they stood in front of one of the house like buildings. A man with a black shirt, black pants, and a head besides short black hair covered in white bandages sat on the steps. He had a staff leaning against his shoulder. "What a strange man..."[/i] Orion thought. He didn't know where they were to though. He had no clue if this was it, or if they had some walking to do.

Damien looked around the terrace once they had all stepped through the portal. As soon as Orion had followed them through, it closed up behind him. It was very busy, like the Tram Common. No doubt, there would be recruiters stationed here somewhere. As they came out onto the terrace, Damien spotted the figure sitting upon the steps too. He had never seen someone of that appearance before. Were they blind? Maybe but they had a staff. No doubt, this was some sort of magic user. Why he was out in the open like this, one could wonder.
He was definitely a shady character, that was for sure. Then again, which of them wasn't shady? Glancing around, eyebrows furrowed, Damien tried to recall just what part of the terrace the recruiting area was. He knew of Raymund's. This one, he knew too but not as well. Ivan deprived him of a lot of helpful information for the sake of isolating him from others involved with the organization. He felt sort of foolish, struggling to know something he should know.
Did he transport them to the right spot or did they need to look around? Damien gave a slightly annoyed sigh to himself at that. He never seemed to know anything in worlds he hadn't really been to all that often. Saying nothing to the other two, he simply started walking. Along the way, surely something would happen to draw their attention. Either that or they would be on for a long walk and wonder where the heck they would be going.
'I'm tired of this! Next time I make it home, I'm going to look up on things. Tired of not knowing anything!' Damien thought to himself. As he walked, he had a strange feeling of deja vu here. Why was that? He hadn't been to this spot more than once in his lifetime. Yet, oddly, the buildings here felt...familiar. 'Odd.'

Orion had no clue where they were going. He simply followed Damien thinking the teen knew where they were going. He put the strange looking man at the back of his mind and simply looked around. He didn't see any sign of Max here. Nor did he see anyone he saw back in the Three Olives that morning. He wasn't about to open his mouth now after everything. He had to prove to Damien and this girl that he was genuine. How else would he manage to do anything?
As they walked around, the girl finally spoke up bringing Orion's attention to her. "Sir..." She said to Damien, "That man from where we um... came here has been following us." Orion turned around and sure enough the man with the staff was following them. The staff was slug across his torso from a strap around his shoulder. He was shorter then Orion, standing at probably the girl's height.
He stopped suddenly when the girl and Orion stopped. It was impossible for Orion to tell if the man was looking at them because he couldn't see his eyes or face because it was covered. However Orion watched him point to Damien.

Damien felt stupid as he came to a stop. While he did so, he took another glance at the people passing them. A flat look was appearing on his face, growing annoyed with every second. It wasn't until they had walked a good bit before he heard the voice of the girl pipe in. Coming out of his frustrated thoughts for a moment, he turned to the girl with a raised eyebrow. "Yes?" he inquired.
It was then that she mentioned the guy they had seen when they got here had been apparently following them. Blinking, Damien looked over to find that he had definitely been following them. What could he possibly want? Was he a recruiter or was he an enemy? Damien certainly hadn't seen him before. Raising a brow a bit, Damien fixed his gaze on the individual. He had to be around the girl's height.
As if taking notice that they took notice of him, he had stopped but only when they had stopped. There was a long moment of silence before the figure had pointed. It looked like he was directly pointing at Damien. Confused but cautious, Damien stepped forward. What did this guy want? "...Yes?" he inquired. It looked like the staff was presently in a non-lethal position but one can never be too cautious. Damien, if anyone knew him, was one of the type that would be on people's hit lists.
He was a strange looking fellow. Definitely a candidate to be careful of considering one couldn't see his face or eyes. It was impossible to tell if he was looking right at them or not. Since he had pointed to Damien, he had to have been looking at them. There seemed to be another bit of silence. Could the guy even speak? Was he that injured from the past or something?

Prince Orion once again felt the tension of potential danger. It didn't frighten him though. It made him excited but slightly cautious as well. The strange man raised his hand and tapped his left shoulder where Damien's emblem would be. The man reached down then and pulled up the sleeve of his arm to the shoulder. There was the same emblem Damien had, but tattooed onto the man's skin in black ink.
"What the heck does that emblem mean anyway? Is it the emblem for the organization or something?"[/i] Orion asked himself. He of course wasn't entirely too sure, but that's what he thought it was. This whole organization was so wrong and secretive.
Apparently what the man showed Damien was supposed to be a message because he turned around and started walking back the way they had come. However he paused when he saw that Orion and the girl hadn't moved. He waved for them to follow and started back the way they came.

Damien stood there for a moment, wondering what this man could possibly want. Then, he simply tapped his left shoulder. Furrowing a brow, Damien wondered if he was indicating his emblem. As if to confirm this, the strange bandaged figure had raised a sleeve to reveal on his shoulder a similar looking emblem in tattoo. It was in black ink. So, this man really was of their organization? Interesting.
As if in understanding, Damien gave a nod to show that he understood what he meant. With that, the man turned and walked away. He was headed in the direction from where they had come. Was it a signal to follow him? Guessing that it must be, Damien began to walk after the man.
He had gestured for Orion and the girl to follow since neither of them had moved. "He's telling us to follow him." With that, Damien headed after the bandaged man. No doubt, he must know where to find that station. Either that or this man was harboring members to keep them safe after what had happened back in Tram Common. That had been an unpleasant fight. Their entire cover had been blown. No doubt, this world was more aware of them than they would have liked.
As he went after the man, Damien could only think of what his father might think. Ivan would surely not be pleased with Damien's actions. However, he hoped that the action he took would be enough to let his father see he had been doing what was right at the time. After all, their cover was blown by someone's order. Surely, they would want to get to the bottom of it? If not, well he had a rough return once this was all said and done. Ivan had made it clear that he would kill him if he should find the need to.

Orion followed the mysterious man, walking beside the girl with Damien on other side of her. The bandaged man kept a steady pace and led them back the way they came. He finally came to a stop at the building that Damien had portaled in front of. The bandaged man walked up the steps he had been previously sitting on and knocked on the door. It wasn't a normal knock but a series of knocks in a particular order of speed and pauses. To Orion it sounded like a secret knock.
"Wow... secret knocks... How typical."[/i] Orion thought to himself.
The sound of locks being unlocked could be heard on the other side of the door as it opened. A man in his forties stood there. He had long black hair, blue eyes, pale skin, and pink lips. He was skinny, but not muscular and dressed in what Orion would call mage's clothes. A cloak like item with hues of green, red, and blue, that stretched from head to toe. Looking at the man, Orion's eyes widened. He knew that man! But what was he doing here? He had just watched him get rushed into the senate building when they tried to kill him not even thirty minutes ago.
The Senator glanced down at Damien, the girl, and finally Orion. The bandaged man leaned forward and whispered something into the man's ear. "Bringing them here was a mistake... If anyone noticed it would be the end of me. But no use now. Get in you three."
The bandaged man signaled for them to enter. Orion didn't know what to do. Heck he didn't think any of them probably knew what to do. The Senator must have seen the look of confusion on their faces. "I'll explain as soon as you get in here! You are in no harm, though I would like to know why the order has turned their backs on me and tried to kill me!"

Damien and the other two followed the bandaged man all the way to the building he had been sitting before when they first spotted him. 'Well, don't I feel dumb?' Damien thought to himself. Once they made it to the building, the man approached the door of the building and did a series of knocks on it. Judging by the fashion he was knocking, it was a secret code of some sort. Morse code maybe or something else. After a moment, there was the sound of locks being unlocked in the door and it opened.
Out stepped a man in his forties with long black hair. Having seen notable figures in the organization once before, he was pretty surprised to see the Senator of Twilight Town here. Had the bandaged man lead them all to their deaths? Damien was already searching for signs of knights but he saw none. Just what was going on here? The bandaged man approached the Senator and whispered in his ear. As he did so, the Senator spoke saying it hadn't been wise should anyone have noticed them and that it would be the end of him. It was no use now though. As the Senator focused on them again, Damien braced himself for a struggle as he beckoned them forth. The bandaged man even beckoning them forward.
When the Senator next spoke about the fact that they wouldn't be harmed, Damien looked up at him in confusion. It was then that Damien realized that the Senator was on the organization's side. They actually had a world leader on their side? Damien didn't even know that! How much more did Ivan conceal from him? Damien wasn't sure but it was a nasty mental blow. Was it even worth being in his position with all the things he hadn't been told? Maybe all he really served to be was a puppet for Ivan? It really seemed more and more like it. Never the less, Damien did it only because he believed what his father told him and always tried to please his father. It was hard for him to take in.
After the Senator spoke, Damien wasn't sure what answers that he could give him. He was just as out of the loop with the main dealings going on as he was. All he knew was that this world was one of the ones that would be taken over and destroyed so that the great deity could renew the universe. Damien had gotten a book on this world that could do anything. Now, Ivan had it. As he looked at the other two, Damien gave a nod of reassurance. Even if this were a trick, which looked highly doubtful at this point, he could always portal them out of the thick of things. Damien really did love his portal creating ability. It made life for him so much easier. He didn't have to rely on a piece of machinery, that could always malfunction, to get from place to place.
"As you say." With that, Damien stepped up the steps with a nod of respect and entered the building. The other two were free to follow at their own pace but the sooner, the better depending on who the real enemy here was.

Prince Orion's first thoughts were not that this might be a trap. Oh that idea eventually crossed his mind with who was standing in front of them. The real thought was that the Senator would recognize him. He had been at the meeting a couple years ago. "Maybe my image changed a bit after the years..."[/i] He hoped. This mission just continued to get dangerous.
The girl was the first to follow Damien inside. Orion followed after and did his best to say nothing and stay in the shadows. The less attention he brought to himself the better. The Senator brought them into an average looking living room. Orion had expected the Senator to live in a large home, one of the mansions. He hadn't really expected the Senator to be a simple man.
Closing the door, the bandaged man headed into the room and unstrapped the staff from his back. Taking a seat against the floor, the man sat Indian Style and placed the staff against his shoulder. He was between where Damien, Orion, and the girl stood and the Senator.
Crossing his arms, the Senator did not look pleased at all. "Now please tell me why I should not have Abasi put you three in chains like your other friend he captured. The deal was I looked the other way on your organization's activities on this world, and I kept the knights and the council off your backs. But what am I supposed to do when you try and kill me! I had no choice but to send the knights out! That is on your own backs, not mine! I am a business man, and a very pissed off one."
Prince Orion watched the man grow angrier and angrier. His words were directed solely at Damien as if he blamed him for everything. Abasi must have been the bandaged man, but he had not moved from his spot as the Senator started walking towards Damien and pointing a finger at him.
